2020-03-27 14,960 Second Workshop - Revelation of the Victorious Church The Temple of God Growth Victory Revelation Yearning Walking with God

Questions Related to the Revelation of Building a Triumphant Church:

Q1: The pastor mentioned that by first building God's church, family issues would be resolved. What can I do to build God's temple? How can I be considered as building God's temple?

A: This is quite a challenging question, suggesting the person is facing many problems. The Bible says, Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. Isn't this what Jesus taught us? It is. Has He added these family matters to us? Indeed, He has.

The crux of the matter lies in what we often deem as highly important. The more we value these things, the more significant we consider the issues that arise. For instance, relationships are often filled with strife, though there are also instances of profound love. This stems from differing value systems, priorities, and perspectives. The question then becomes, whose view prevails? We frequently argue over such matters.

Paul, in the Bible, said, Those who marry should live as if they do not, those who use the things of the world as if not engrossed in them. This passage is from 1 Corinthians, which you can look up. Why did he say this? Because once a person has a Mingding, many issues become less significant. If they become less significant, are the problems solved or not? That is a matter of perspective.

Returning to the Bible, you will find that Moses, Samuel, and David all had family issues. Were these problems easily resolved? Not really. But for the individuals involved, they were resolved. For them, having a Mingding made these issues insignificant. What we need to change today is our value system.

What can I do to build God's temple? How can I be considered as building God's temple? First, we must understand what building God's temple entails. God's temple is God's church. How should God's church be built? Some say by giving building fund offerings, which is certainly part of it. How can I be considered as building God's temple? The entire New Testament teaches how to build God's temple.

If you wish to build God's temple, you must first have a clear understanding of what it means to build God's temple. The church is the body of Jesus Christ in complete unity with God. The church's complete unity with God is, in essence, the unity of the brethren with Jesus Christ, so that the brethren can also be completely united. Therefore, we must love one another, but we often love ourselves more than others.

Many have asked Jesus how to attain eternal life, a common question. A rich young man asked Jesus, What must I do to inherit eternal life? Jesus told him to do certain things, which he claimed to have done. Jesus then said, Sell your possessions and give to the poor, and follow me. Building God's temple is imitating Jesus, and imitating Jesus is building God's temple.

In the process of church unity, we must completely deal with our bad habits and flaws. Unity is a character trait; it is not about compromising or tolerating each other. If you are targeted by a spirit of disunity and possess a character of disunity, you will likely suffer. God will protect you, but He will never acquit the guilty.

We will inevitably face various problems if we have flaws. These problems are God's revelations and His discipline. What can we do to build God's temple? Simply follow the teachings of Jesus Christ. In a nutshell: Imitate Jesus, imitate Paul. Do what they did.

Q2: Pastor, I have a question: Does this mean that believers in a triumphant church cannot have time for solitary prayer and communion with God?

A: I have never said that. If you wish to meet with God in solitary prayer every day, I encourage you to do so. For example, reading the Bible diligently is perfectly normal. In a triumphant church, we prioritize truths. Some truths are greater. The first question concerns the unity of the brethren, which addresses both the unity and the character of the brethren. In the Bible, what importance does solitary prayer and communion with God hold? If you carefully read Paul's epistles, you will find that they are primarily about building a triumphant and glorious church.

In fact, there is very little teaching on solitary prayer and communion with God. Most references to meeting God in solitary prayer are found in the Old Testament. Do as much as you desire. Chinese Mingding Doctrine holds the concept that truths come in different magnitudes. Have you implemented the greater, more important truths? If we have not implemented the more important truths and spend all our time meeting with God at home, what do you think will happen?

I believe the most important thing is not solitary prayer and communion with God. The most important things are: first, love God; second, love your neighbor; obey the Holy Spirit's guidance; and do what Jesus Christ did. Jesus Christ certainly had time for solitary prayer and communion with God, which is normal. But how much time? We can examine the Bible. I have never said that you cannot pray or meet with God at all.

Q3: What about the elderly who can only stay at home, do not use mobile phones, have no concept of building God's glorious church, and have no access to this information? Does God still care about their problems and difficulties?

A: I don't quite understand the question, but I will try my best to answer it. The elderly do not use mobile phones, have no concept of building a glorious church, and have no access to this information, but they can still hunger for it! After living a long life, many elderly people do not realize that life is vanity of vanities; they simply live. But if a person hungers for God, nothing is impossible with God.

There is an example in the Bible: Rahab lived in Jericho, and everyone in the city, including Rahab's family, was destined for destruction. But Rahab yearned for God, and God inspired Joshua to send two spies to Jericho to save Rahab's family because Rahab was someone who called upon God. God saved her and her family. If you think your abilities are great, then God's abilities are only as great, which would be problematic. Never underestimate God's determination and ability to save people.

Indeed, many elderly people have no concept of building God's glorious church; they only know to eat, drink, and wait for death. They don't even know what information they need. Even if you give them this information, they may not listen. What should you do? If they happen to be your parents, then take on the Mingding of saving your entire family! If none of these conditions apply, but the elderly person is very hungry for God, I believe God will save him. Do you believe that? I do. Even among those who are perishing, if someone hungers for God, God will surely save him. God has many ways.

Actually, whether one more or one less person dies in this world is normal for God. God's care for people's problems and difficulties is layered. Some people are born to be vessels of wrath for God's glory. Does God care about their problems and difficulties? The answer is no. He merely uses them as vessels of wrath for His glory. Why? Because God does not really care about people's problems and difficulties. He cares about whether people seek Him.

People have many problems in this world. For example, in modern Chinese history, the Chinese people have experienced much suffering. Does God care? No, He does not. The solution God offers is that Jesus Christ died on the cross for us, and whoever seeks Him, yearns for Him, and calls upon His name will be saved. Here, salvation means that our problems are resolved. The concept of salvation is deeper and broader than simply resolving our problems.

Q4: How do I know if I am on the path of building a triumphant church?

A: Building a triumphant church is not a new concept. Doesn't the Bible repeatedly tell us what to do? How can we read the Bible and not know if we are on the path of building a triumphant church? What exactly are we doing? If you are busy with business or work and only occasionally come to church, even if you are a lifelong Christian, what does that amount to? How can a person not know if they are on the path of building a triumphant church? What people pay the price for and what they treasure, how can they not know?

What exactly is the person asking this question thinking? Some people are busy with work and other things, barely squeezing out time to attend meetings, and they still claim to love the Lord. I ask, how do you love the Lord? They say they attend meetings after work. The question is, does God need you to attend meetings? When they hear this, they are immediately stumped. We think attending meetings is good enough. You think the pastor and the physical church should be grateful for people occupying the seats, is that the case? Is that God's intention?

Don't think that building a triumphant church is about what I should or should not do. Shouldn't we seek God's will and act according to His will? Shouldn't we carefully observe and follow God's word? Shouldn't we study the Bible diligently to know how much we resemble Jesus? If we do not resemble Jesus at all, what triumphant church are we building? Building a triumphant church is about one thing: Completely offering ourselves for the Lord Jesus Christ, in His name, preaching the gospel, healing the sick, and casting out demons. What is the gospel? This entire series of concepts needs to be redefined!

Asking such questions means we have not read the Bible carefully and want to take shortcuts by having someone tell us what to do. When you read the Bible carefully and listen to the Chinese Mingding Doctrine Bible study recordings, how can you not receive God's revelation? Comparing ourselves to the Bible is simple. If you become more and more like Jesus, starting with a little and then a little more, that is the desire of our hearts. This word is not far from you. Do not say, Who will ascend into heaven to bring it down to us? It is not in heaven or overseas, but in your heart and in your mouth. This word is not difficult.

People have many priorities of their own, always feeling that if they don't do certain things, their conscience will trouble them, and if they don't do other things, they seem to have no way out because their work has too many problems. So they simply ask the pastor for an answer, so that their hearts can be comforted knowing they are on the path of building a triumphant church. But I will not give you such comfort today. The Bible clearly states everything in black and white!

Our first lesson is: How to study the Bible. The second lesson is: The theological foundation of healing and deliverance. The third lesson is: The revelation of building a triumphant church. How can people not know? The Book of Revelation contains much about the triumphant church. Can you understand it? That is the key. You need to ponder and reflect on how much you resemble Jesus and whether you are walking with God. This is crucial!

Q5: What can I do to love the church? Shepherd God's sheep?

A: I don't often talk about loving the church. I don't know where you heard that from. I talk about loving God and loving Jesus Christ. If we love God, we will shepherd His flock. What can I do to shepherd God's sheep? That is a good question! Our next topic will be: Shepherding, shepherding God's flock. I will teach you how to shepherd God's flock. We always want to take shortcuts by having someone tell us what to do, but that is not the way it is. This word is in your heart and in your mouth. Trust God in your heart, love God, treasure God for life, and the Bible has already made it clear how to do it.

Q6: Since the church is the body of Jesus Christ, why not say that loving Jesus is the answer to all problems?

A: That's an interesting question. What does it mean to love Jesus? Is it simply saying, Jesus, I love you, I love you? Why do we talk about building the body of Jesus Christ and establishing a triumphant church? Because loving Jesus is doing exactly that. Is there any other way to love Jesus? Loving Jesus, doing business well, working well, and taking good care of your family are all good things, but what about the body of Jesus Christ?

The theme of the New Testament is not loving Jesus but building the body of Jesus Christ. We need to turn the vague concept of loving Jesus into a clear concept. That is why we are not just shouting slogans about loving Jesus. Many people shout these slogans in church, but what do they do after leaving the church? I know some Christians around me who worship God with their lips, but their hearts are far from Him. If a person truly loves Jesus, what will be the result? You can try it out.

Q7: I know the concept of building a triumphant church, but my actions don't keep up. I want to know if this is because my concepts are not thoroughly renewed or because my system of godly logic is not yet stable, which is why I remain in a state of flux?

A: Everyone should know that actions follow one's internal assessment of things. For example, someone asks me to come over, but I say I don't have time. Then they say, Come over, and I'll give you ten thousand dollars. Do I have time now? Yes! Why do I have time? If I'm offered ten thousand dollars, of course I have time. If I'm offered a hundred thousand, I have even more time, and if I'm offered ten million, I have even more time. I will always find time.

What does it mean for actions not to keep up? Actually, the problem lies in whether or not we believe. Knowing and truly believing are two different things. For example, if we clearly knew that this is not a decision worth millions or tens of millions but a priceless treasure, and if we truly knew this, would our actions keep up? Our actions would certainly keep up!

Why don't they keep up? Because we have to attend this wedding, that funeral, or go on a trip. God has to wait. It's because many of the things we do are what we value. Why don't we dare to do what we should value? Either we are afraid of offending family members or friends, or there are many entanglements.

I encourage everyone to listen to the Bible study of Hebrews. The theme of Hebrews is to strive to enter into perfection. I also wrote a book summarizing Genesis chapters 1 to 11, stating that the root of humanity's problems is disbelief—not believing in God. Believing and not believing are on completely different foundations. If a person truly believes, they will act accordingly. If they truly believe, they will truly pay the price because it truly is a treasure.

So, ask God to help you. When God helps you, many problems and disasters will occur, and your actions will keep up. If you are willing, you can often pray in the Spirit, which translates to: God, discipline me! God, deal with me! Let something enlightening come upon me. Something like that. When it comes, you will be enlightened, and your actions will keep up.

Q8: Ephesians speaks of being built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets. Does that mean we must have apostles and prophets before we can evangelize?

A: This question is quite theological. It is indeed stated in Ephesians that the church should be built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets. Actually, the answer to your question is already implied. Literally, if there are no apostles and prophets, what gospel are you preaching? However, the definition of apostles and prophets is too confusing, and no clear understanding can be found after much searching. Today's church lacks apostles and prophets. When someone claims to be an apostle or a prophet, they are often met with scorn.

In reality, there is nothing mysterious about apostles. After Jesus Christ ascended to heaven, the Jews appointed twelve apostles. Some believe that there are no more apostles after the twelve, but this is a misconception. For example, later there was a thirteenth apostle, Paul, who was even more powerful than the previous apostles and was greatly used by God. If there can be a thirteenth apostle, then there can be a fourteenth and a fifteenth. We must not be rigid in our thinking. Today, no one wants to admit to being an apostle or a prophet, because it would invite scorn, stones, or even fierce criticism.

The church must be established by apostles, and there must be prophets preaching in the church. If there is preaching in the church, then there are prophets. In fact, the prophets Paul spoke of are those who preach. The question is: Does preaching make one a prophet, or do only prophets preach? This is a perplexing matter. Some churches today like to have young girls pray fervently and then secretly appoint a prophet. This kind of thing happens a lot. But what revelations do they receive after praying? There's also the interpretation of tongues by prophets, and so on. I believe that there are major and minor truths in the Bible.

The Apostle Paul discussed the structure of the church. He summarized his experience in building the church as being based on apostles and prophets. This is the foundation of the church. Today, we do not need to get bogged down in these concepts. When we go out to evangelize, we must preach the gospel that is in accordance with the Bible. The Apostle Paul clearly wrote the gospel in the Bible, especially in Galatians. We must never preach a false gospel; we cannot just preach haphazardly.

The church is God's army and must be a unified whole. The church must have its leaders, with a hierarchical structure, not chaos, but an orderly organizational structure. This organizational structure cannot replace God, but God's management in these places must have a clear organizational structure. Therefore, deacons, apostles, prophets, pastors, teachers, evangelists—these all form an organizational structure. The organizational structure must not be rigid either. I have not studied this matter in depth, so I will stop here.

Q9: Are ministries in the church, such as good father, anti-abortion, and adoption of disabled children, a part of Mingding? Are these ministries that one does not related to Mingding?

A: I always feel that answering this question either way presents a challenge. All things are permissible, you can do whatever you want, and receive however you want. I do not want to express my opinion. For example, go ahead and be a good father, it's not a sin. As for anti-abortion, I don't know what to oppose. As for the adoption of disabled children, I think do it, perhaps these ministries are their Mingding. But I believe that the truths of the Bible must be prioritized. If we grasp the minor truths and abandon the major ones, we easily become Pharisees. If we grasp the major truths, the first and second most important, and then go on to be good fathers and help disabled children, there is no problem.

However, the problem is that they do not do what Jesus did, and do a bunch of things Jesus did not do, which is fatal. Did Jesus be a good father? Jesus did not seem to be a good father. Did Jesus oppose abortion? Jesus did not seem to oppose abortion. Did Jesus oppose homosexuality? Jesus did not oppose homosexuality. Did Jesus sign a petition to have the government oppose homosexuality? No. Did Jesus adopt disabled children? He did not do this.

What did Jesus do? If you carefully examine the Bible: Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, isn't it clear enough? It is very clear. Today, I will ask you one question: If you do a bunch of things Jesus did not do, and do not do what Jesus did, isn't that fatal? I will stop here, and everyone can think along these lines. Because we seek to be like Jesus. There are many charities in society, such as temples that also have good fathers and adopt children, but what are these? It is quite thought-provoking.

Q10: Are Mingding and mission the same? Or different? Should be the same, just different words, right... Our mission is to live out God's glorious image and be more like Jesus, building a glorious church?

A: Mission refers to what we do, such as the Great Commission: to go out and preach the gospel, making disciples of Jesus Christ from all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to observe all that God has commanded. This is called a mission. Mingding, on the other hand, is why we live, what we are born for, live for, and die for. I think they are quite different. If you think they are the same, using different words is not a big problem. I do not quibble over words.

In fact, the Great Commission in the Bible is to go out and preach the gospel, and to make disciples of Jesus Christ from all nations. I think Mingding is greater than mission. A company usually has a mission and a vision. Mingding actually defines why we live and why we die. Mission is how we achieve that vision. For example, our vision is to be like Jesus, our salvation is to be more like Jesus, overcoming the enemy through building a glorious church. Our mission is how to achieve our vision. I think Mingding is greater than mission.

Q11: Building a victorious church, offering oneself completely, including one's life... I feel that these kinds of words are hard to speak in evangelism... What to do?

A: There is no need to say these things when evangelizing. Evangelism is about preaching the gospel of the kingdom of heaven, the gospel of repentance. If people are not living correctly, many problems will arise. When we evangelize, we heal the sick and cast out demons. These are examples that Jesus Christ has set for us. Do not immediately start using a lot of religious terms and jargon, it is useless. I think building a victorious church is for disciples, for those with a Mingding.

If they do not yet know God's grace, where will their Mingding come from? If they cannot be believers, how can they be disciples? We must realize that building a victorious church is not for new believers. We can say that we are a victorious church, coming among us will heal your diseases, so that they understand this concept. If the person is still an infant, and you immediately talk about carrying the cross and offering oneself, it is like giving a university course to an infant. When we evangelize, we should not speak too grandly.

Q12: Teacher, since building God's glorious church is so important, how do I know that I am building a glorious church? Is it through meetings, prayer, Bible study, homework, doing ministry, glorifying God's name in life and work, or doing healing and deliverance for others, and ministering to God's flock? Are all these things done in a victorious church building God's glorious church?

A: This is a very good question. People always want to know what they should do. Actually, what you've described all contribute. I think some aspects require training, such as meetings, prayer, and Bible study. How can we do these things without training? We train someone to do healing and deliverance, and eventually they must do healing and deliverance, and they must train others to do healing and deliverance, releasing people from the hands of the demon. That is being trained and training others.

We must understand how these different aspects come together to build a glorious church. That is the theme of the New Testament, even the theme of the entire Bible. All things must be united in Jesus Christ, and it is through the church. It is through the church that God's glory and wisdom are manifested, that we can trample on the devil and the enemy, and release the captives!

We are eager to know what to do, but no matter how we do it, the most important thing is the motivation behind it. If you insist on asking what to do, that becomes a rigid concept. If a person learns and does it this way, they will likely not learn well. We need to understand all the concepts in the entire Bible, which is understanding different levels of truth, constantly climbing the holy mountain of the Lord, constantly knowing God, and constantly implementing God's words.

I will not give you a set of steps to follow. That is the Pharisaical approach. This is not a holistic system of thinking. A holistic system of thinking does not tell me what to do specifically. If you understand God's heart, would you still ask such a question?

Q13: I want to build a victorious church, what should I do specifically?

A: This question surprises me. Do you really understand? It is not about what to do specifically. How can it be specific? If a person has this kind of mindset, you will be very confused. That is not the way it is. In God's house, the process of growing up is a gradual process. If you are a kindergarten student, you learn kindergarten content. If you are a primary school student, you learn primary school content. If you are a secondary or university student, you learn secondary or university content. If you are a professional, you do professional things.

I encourage you to continuously grow in your knowledge of God. If you are old enough to run errands, run errands. If you are old enough to do some cleaning, do some cleaning. If you can do something for God, do something for God. Isn't that great? This is doing different things at different stages. When you grow to the stage of building God's church, you begin to build your own team. If you are still a newbie and don't know many things, you need to be constantly equipped. Doesn't our church constantly equip and train people? So, just keep growing!

Q14: Why is it so difficult for missionaries to evangelize in China? Mrs. Morrison died at the age of 30 while pregnant and ill. Inland missionaries only live an average of 5 years in China. Why doesn't God protect His servants?

A: This is a very weighty question. I did not know Morrison or Morrison's wife. Faced with these things, people easily conclude that God does not protect His servants. Let me give you an example, using myself as an example. If God takes me away tomorrow, some people will say, Look, why didn't God protect him? I would instead excitedly tell everyone that this is God's best protection!

If people value earthly life too much, their theological system will be a chaotic one. We must understand that Jesus only lived to be in His early thirties, how unfortunate! People think it is good to live to be eighty, and to preach at eighty like a wise old sage, how many people could they release! It is not like that. To God, ten, twenty, or thirty years are all the same, no different. I also feel this way. It is our inner concepts that need to change.

Why is it so difficult for missionaries to evangelize in China? That just proves the theological system of the Chinese Mingding Doctrine. In those days, the church was really not victorious. The church has developed to the present stage, truly establishing the concept of a victorious church, the church as God's army, healing the sick and casting out demons, striking the devil and the enemy. We have come this far, stepping on the shoulders of our predecessors. We don't think this is our achievement either, it is that God wants to raise up a group of people to do such things in this generation.

In those past eras, the church was in a dark state from the Middle Ages, and God's word had been polluted to a very serious extent, gradually being restored. In the era of Morrison, God's revelation was only at that stage. I believe they all went to China with great hope, putting life and death behind them, not caring at all. It is a great grace and glory for a person to be willing to lay down their life for God! China was only at that stage, and God's revelation was only to that extent. In that state, there were still people with selfless hearts who were willing to lay down their lives so that our Chinese nation could enter into God's blessings. Today, we are all very grateful!

Is it that God does not protect His servants? No, God can definitely protect His servants, but God allows people to go this way. We see that they really paid a heavy price for us, shedding their blood! Do we have a heart of offering, a broad and wide chest, and are we willing to rise up to be the most mission-minded people of God in this generation, preaching God's gospel?

Today, we receive many of God's graces and revelations. We pass on what we have received from God, whether it is North America, Canada, Australia, Europe, or Africa, every continent can have our footprints. For the sake of God's revival in this generation, and for the sake of God's people, like Mrs. Morrison, we are also willing to lay down our lives. Doesn't the price they paid for the gospel serve as an inspiration to us? This is an extremely wonderful thing!

If you can see through life and death, I would like to share another perspective. Whether a person dies of cancer or COVID-19, or dies for the sake of God's kingdom to be a blessing to others, I would rather lay down my life for the sake of God's kingdom and God's gospel. I'm not just saying high-sounding words. I think it is boring for people to go through chemotherapy and radiation therapy when they get cancer! It is more glorious to offer oneself up for God and die. We will say, I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness... Isn't that great?

Q15: Is building God's glorious church, living for it, dying for it, and paying the price for it, possible for people living in this world?

A: Why is it not possible? Because it is a wonderful choice. Open your eyes and take a good look. Don't think that if you can't do it, no one else can. Don't think you are the highest in the world. People who are willing to do this have thought it through.

What conclusions can you draw from observing this generation? Living with God is better. Don't think that when we say live for it, die for it, and pay the price for it, we will lose a lot of things. Actually, we have lost nothing. Of course we have lost those things, but we don't care much about them. What is it that we care about?

I minister to many people, and those who are sick are not living for the building of God's glorious church, living for it, and dying for it. They are dying for their diseases. There are also couples who have bad relationships, where the wife poisons the husband, or the husband kills the wife. They die because of COVID-19, are hit by cars, or are stabbed to death. There are many messed up things in this world! What do you use to resist them?

I think the math has not been done correctly, that is why you asked such a question. If you calculate it clearly, you will know which one is good and which one is bad. If you calculate it clearly, would you still ask such a question? Why is it not possible, because it is the best choice!

May God bless everyone!

@Grace: Pastor, have you encountered people bound by demons, being violent and hitting others, during exorcism? Should they be bound before praying for exorcism?
