Introduction
Good morning, everyone. This week, we will begin a new series titled "The Theology of Triumphant Warfare." The first lecture is entitled "The Army of Jehovah Came Out of Egypt." Having been a believer for so many years, I am ashamed to admit that I had not noticed such an obvious statement. Previously, in the local church, as a layperson and a cell group leader, I had never heard of "triumphant warfare."
I had neither heard this phrase nor that the establishment of a church is the establishment of the army of Jehovah God. Later, when I established the church and led everyone to study the Bible, after finishing Genesis, we studied Exodus. Upon studying Exodus, this statement suddenly illuminated before my eyes: The army of Jehovah came out of Egypt.
I said, this is excellent! It turns out that people not receiving promises is related to not being victorious in warfare, and some have not even engaged in warfare at all. Therefore, starting this week, we will begin this series called "The Theology of Triumphant Warfare," which is about drawing upon God's promises. Frankly speaking, and this is not boasting, we draw upon God's promises more than most churches.
When someone with an illness comes to our church, they had been prayed for in their own church but had not been healed. However, when they come here, they are healed. After being healed, they ask me, "Why was I healed when I came here?" Because of triumphant warfare, receiving God's promises. The core concept of Chinese Mingding Doctrine is that triumphant warfare is the key to receiving promises; this is a treasure. Therefore, the first lecture: The army of Jehovah came out of Egypt.
Why did the army of Jehovah come out? Were they not a group of slaves wearing tattered clothes? Were they the army of Jehovah God? Never ask God why He does things this way; God arranges things as He sees fit. Be careful when reading the Bible; do not ask God why He does this or that. God likes to arrange things as He sees fit, and do not ask about things God has not explained.
Instead, ask: What is God's will? Oh, God's will is for us to be the army of Jehovah God. God's will is for us to receive promises and enter the Promised Land. This logic is simple and straightforward. Do not think you are smarter than God. Why does God do this? God simply tells you, "I will!" Therefore, do not ask the wrong questions.
Why is it that sometimes when we are answering questions, I retort to your question? Because you asked a very poor question. God, why create the army of Jehovah God? Why triumphant warfare? There is no why; this is God's will. But I tell you, God's will is for us to enter the Promised Land, a land flowing with milk and honey.
If you are a Christian but live a miserable life, one of the reasons is not engaging in triumphant warfare, or even not knowing about warfare at all. Why did I come out to establish a church? Because I was perplexed, seeing so many prayers go unanswered, and I felt it should not be this way. Why are they unanswered? No victory. Why no victory? No warfare. You love me, I love you, loving each other, but ultimately it is not very useful.
Oh, my brother, I will pray for you. Meaning: Brother, I will pray for you. May God heal you. But if there is no healing, then what? Why does God not heal me? Always dealing with these issues. Actually, it is not that God does not heal, but because you are not victorious, how can God heal?
Our brothers and sisters must understand one thing; this is the core concept of Chinese Mingding Doctrine: warfare, victory, receiving promises. Have you been victorious? Sometimes you make a gesture and say, "I am very uncomfortable, I am very tired." Who else would be uncomfortable if not you? Born looking like you are about to lose the battle, and you wet your pants before even stepping into the ring.
The land that God promised to Abraham, He has already promised to him: you and your descendants will possess this land. But why did Moses and Joshua still have to lead the Israelites to fight and then possess that land? Was that land promised by God or was it taken by force? I tell you, it was God who fought for them. You are just a follower, tagging along, having that courage.
When demons are cast out, do you think it is us who cast them out? It is through the name of Jesus Christ, it is God who casts them out. We just made a gesture, and then we were victorious. God was victorious for us, so we seem to be victorious, and in the end, we receive the reward. My goodness, where can you reason with this? Sometimes you are not even willing to make that gesture; how good it is to make that gesture.
For example, David went to fight Goliath, and with a "thwack," a stone was flung out. How was he so accurate? Actually, God made him accurate. Perhaps before that stone even hit Goliath, God had already melted Goliath's heart. Do not underestimate his boastful words, but when Goliath saw the stone flying towards him, how fast could that stone fly? How fast could it be flung out? Could Goliath not see it? He saw it. But he just could not move. Then the stone "bang" hit his forehead, his forehead collapsed, and he died.
As for how he died, whether it was David's stone that killed him, it is not clear, but actually, it was God who fought for David. That stone was like a missile, tracking its target relentlessly; no matter how you dodged, you could not escape. So this is the root of David's victory. I fight by relying on Jehovah. Therefore, we do not need to be afraid in warfare.
Our brothers and sisters must never think that it is our ability that casts out demons; actually, it is the authority that God has given us. Do not think that you come to church to love your brothers and sisters. You love me, I love you, how wonderful. You sell me insurance, I sell you health products, how wonderful, you make money and I make money. Is that a church? That is a market.
Never think that by dressing casually, like a Cantonese person wearing flip-flops and a vest, you can stroll into the Promised Land. It is not like that; it is not strolled into. It can only be entered through triumphant warfare, and even then, it is just a gesture.
The Israelites came out of Egypt without thinking about being soldiers. But even if you did not think about it, you still have to be one, just like Christians, oh, I believe in the Lord, I did not think about warfare. There are many churches now that do not cast out demons; they have altered the gospel of Jesus Christ. Because the gospel of Jesus Christ is the gospel of healing and casting out demons; Jesus cast out demons wherever He went. They have changed it to there not being so many demons, but actually, there are still those demons, and they still corrupt people.
So the Israelites were bewildered when they entered the wilderness: "Oh, what am I doing here?" God said, "Training you to be an army." Then why did you come out? I do not know; I just followed you all out, and then died in the wilderness.
Complaining all day in the wilderness, Moses said, "Move out!" And they carried a pile of things and moved out. How troublesome, do you think it is as simple as packing a suitcase, a whole suitcase with a pull rod? There are many things. You also have to hold a nursing child, and then a lot of things. Walking and walking, Moses, it is time for lunch. Moses said, no, we cannot stop yet, keep walking. It is time for dinner. No, keep walking. The child needs to drink milk, keep walking.
Moses did not care about these things, and the people could not bear it because this was training an army. But I did not want to be a soldier; at that time, regardless of whether you wanted to or not, as long as you were in it, you had to do it this way.
Just like when you come to our church, take notes! If you do not take notes, you will be thrown into Streams in the Desert. After being thrown into Streams in the Desert, oh, then I have to take notes. So we believe in the Lord, and then we are trained, whether you understand it or not, you have to understand it. Whether you want to be a soldier in God's army or not, you have to be a soldier. I hope you can receive the benefits of this gospel.
You say, yes, I really want to receive the benefits, but I do not want to fight. That will not work; do not ask why. In the end, if you want to receive God's promises, if we want to enter God's Promised Land, we must be trained in the wilderness. Actually, God is fighting before us, but the practice still has to be done. No matter how much, drawing upon God's promises is simply the most beautiful and best decision in the world. You must never say I do not want it, I only want the benefits, but I do not want to be disciplined; that is impossible.
The church is God's army, the church is a place to train people to be elite soldiers, this is us. The battle with the rulers of this dark world in the air, the powers of darkness. You are here to be soldiers. Taking notes is not a big deal, right? We have not asked you to march all day, marching for a whole day.
Of course, being a soldier requires paying a price; it is normal to sweat and shed tears during training on the training ground, but you do not need to shed blood. If you do not train on the training ground, you will shed blood on the battlefield. You say, is it not God who is fighting for us in front? It is God who is fighting for you in front. But I tell you, if you are not good at training your fighting strength, how can God be with you?
So what we often need to do is release the captives, release the oppressed; it is not easy to cast out any demon. I tell you, this concept of triumphant warfare is repeatedly reinforced. The concept of triumphant warfare, receiving God's promises, is repeatedly reinforced.
More than ten years ago, we had a salesperson among us, and it was very interesting to cast out demons at that time. The demon also liked to join in the fun, and it manifested as soon as it was cast out, and it manifested as soon as it was cast out. After he cast out demons a lot, he became the sales champion in his company. The boss said, "Hey, can you share your experience as a sales champion?" He said, "Boss, I cannot share it." The boss said, "You are already a sales champion, how can you not share it?"
How can this not be shared? How can casting out demons be shared? He discovered a pattern: the more demons he cast out, the more orders he got; if he did not cast out demons, he would not get any orders. It was not his ability, so this thing was quite magical and could not be shared.
During that time, we also fought Old Ma very fiercely. Because my mother had Alzheimer's disease, we fought this Old Ma, and the prayer was particularly fervent. After praying, Old Ma spoke. Old Ma said, "Hey, I have to send money. I lost the battle, I have to send money." I said, "When will you send it?" He said, "Send the money at 12 noon on Sunday, in a bullock cart." Later I thought about it, and it was really the case, 12 noon.
The reward for casting out demons is very high! The reason why our church is thriving today is because of triumphant warfare. The reason why our church's finances are healthy is because of triumphant warfare. Your eyes light up when you hear about money, right? Money is just a small part of God's promises; if your eyes light up, you should look at all of God's promises.
In the kingdom of God, there are many promises of God, so why not take them? Are there a few demons chasing you now, or are you chasing a few demons? We are too poor at casting out demons, too far behind. We are too weak in the ability to draw upon promises that we have been trained in on the training ground.
In the wilderness, the army of Jehovah came out, and after coming out of Egypt, they walked there. Will they be tired? I tell you, if you pray and look to God inside, God's strength will enter your legs, and you will not be tired. If you rely on your flesh to move forward, you will walk with a bitter face, and your heart will be full of resentment and hardship.
The Israelites wandered in the wilderness for forty years, and their shoes did not wear out, nor did their clothes. Don't you find that miraculous? There are even more miraculous things than that. Therefore, the rewards are great. Do not ever think that you can obtain the promise without fighting or training. That is not the case.
Previously, there were two PhDs, one of whom was from our church. I cast out many demons from him, and he also received many graces, and then he left. We are not sure why he left, but if he left, he left.
He went to a place and said, "Teacher, I am also going to find a church with Mingding Doctrine, and I still want to be a Christian with Mingding." I said, "OK, good, very good." Then he went. After he went, he found that he looked down on that so-called theology, so he spread the truth of our Mingding Doctrine in the local church.
What was the matter with those two PhDs? One had insomnia. The conversation between the two was quite interesting. How long do you pray? I pray for five minutes. You only pray for five minutes every day? When do you pray? I pray when I eat. Oh, no wonder you have insomnia. How long do you pray? I pray for at least one and a half hours. How do you pray for so long? I fight and overcome.
Later, that person said, "Can you lead me in prayer? I have insomnia." This church is quite interesting. The pastor of the church, his mother also has insomnia. This pastor prayed for his mother for seven years, and his mother's sleeping pills increased fourfold. Later, he introduced his mother to me, and I also cured his mother's insomnia by casting out demons. So, we encounter very common situations.
Today, we still need to continuously expand the church and strengthen the foundation of the church. Expand God's church so that more people can receive the blessing of fighting and overcoming. The blessing of fighting and overcoming is wonderful. A person who is fearful, timid, and unbelieving cannot receive the promise. "Oh, fighting, people will die entering Canaan." As a result, those who thought they would die all died.
When the twelve spies entered the Promised Land and returned, ten spies reported bad news because they were afraid of death. Aren't you afraid of death? God will let you die sooner, and as a result, they died on the spot. I tell you, those ten people were all tribal leaders, all powerful and prestigious people. Being prestigious does not solve the problem. People are just stupid in this regard. What is there to fear? Some people are afraid of their wives, and some people are afraid of their husbands. If you are afraid of this and afraid of that, can you receive the promise?
I didn't do anything. I just prayed and fought. Is there any problem? God is holding you up. What are you afraid of? God holds up all things. Can't He hold up you, this little thing? Join God's army and be trained as a victorious elite soldier. This is not something I made up. It is written in the Bible that the army of the Lord came out of Egypt.
The moment you come out of Egypt, the moment you are released from the world, you either go back to Egypt to continue being rubbed on the ground as a slave, or you enter the army of the Lord. This is the case in both the Old and New Testaments. This is the truth.
If you want to receive the promise, fight and overcome, and be an elite soldier of God. This is why Jesus' teachings are so absolute. The teachings of Jesus Christ are to forsake everything and follow the Lord. Forsaking everything means being a soldier. Only by forsaking can you gain more. If you forsake everything for the sake of Jesus Christ, you will receive a hundredfold in this world because you will receive many promises, and in the age to come, you will receive eternal life.
Therefore, establish a church that casts out demons, binds the powers of darkness, and releases captive souls. This is the most basic work of the church. Paul's teaching is also about being a soldier and fighting. I tell you, the army of the Lord came out of Egypt. This is what I want to talk about. Everyone, open the Bible and mark it down. I don't want to deceive you. I want you to know that this is scripture.
Scripture
Now the length of time the Israelite people lived in Egypt was 430 years. At the end of the 430 years, to the very day, all the Lord’s divisions left Egypt. Because the Lord kept vigil that night to bring them out of Egypt, on this night all the Israelites are to keep vigil to honor the Lord for the generations to come. (Exodus 12:40-42)
Prayer
Lord Jesus, we thank you. We ask you to raise us up to be your mighty army in these last days. God, raise up your people, raise up! God, your army has come out of Egypt. Gather us together, let us rely on your name, and let us overcome wherever we fight in your name.
This is a victorious army, this is an army that draws on your promises. We declare in the name of Jesus Christ. No matter how many promises God has, they are yes in us because this is an army in Jesus Christ. We pray in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
Scripture Background
When God chose Moses in the wilderness, Moses was shepherding there, and God called Moses, telling Moses to lead the Israelites out of Egypt according to their divisions. What God said to Moses and Aaron did not mean that this was an army only after the Israelites left Egypt, but that it was an army before they left. Before sending Moses and Aaron to Egypt to bring the Israelites out, He led Israel out of Egypt according to their divisions.
The Lord said, “Bring the Israelites out of Egypt by their divisions.” It was this same Aaron and Moses to whom the Lord said, “Bring the Israelites out of Egypt.” They were the ones who spoke to Pharaoh king of Egypt about bringing the Israelites out of Egypt. (Exodus 6:26-27)
This is not referring to anything else. This was the arrangement from the beginning.
Then the Lord said to Moses, “See, I have made you like God to Pharaoh, and your brother Aaron will be your prophet. You are to say everything I command you, and your brother Aaron is to tell Pharaoh to let the Israelites go out of his country. But I will harden Pharaoh’s heart, and though I multiply my signs and wonders in Egypt, he will not listen to you. Then I will lay my hand on Egypt and with mighty acts of judgment I will bring out my divisions, my people the Israelites. And the Egyptians will know that I am the Lord when I stretch out my hand against Egypt and bring the Israelites out of it.” Moses and Aaron did just as the Lord commanded them. (Exodus 7:1-6)
Did you see that? This is so well said. So, this was the plan from the beginning. It is not that after you become a Christian, God suddenly remembers that you should be an army. This was the arrangement from the beginning.
You say that is the Old Testament, but the Old Testament is a shadow of the New Testament, and the New Testament is even more so an army that fights and overcomes. In the beginning, what did God say when He made a covenant with Abraham? Your descendants will be slaves there for four hundred years. Why did He say that? Actually, we are all God's people, destined to inherit God's promised land. But before we come out of the world and become God's people, we are all in the house of slavery in Egypt.
Why did I believe in the Lord? Because I was living a very hard life in this world, living to the point of wanting to jump off a building, so I sought God. God brought me out of the house of slavery, blessed me, and allowed me to receive blessings and God's promises. Is it just about having more money and a better life? That is not the purpose. It is that God wants to mold us so that we can come out of Egypt and become the army of the Lord God.
Therefore, none of God's people have not been released from this world. You come to seek God not because you have a high IQ, but because you have encountered problems, been suppressed by this world, and been severely oppressed by the demons of this world. To some extent, we who believe in the Lord have all been oppressed too miserably by the Egyptians, by the demons of this world, so we come out of the house of slavery.
Coming out means becoming a soldier because to draw on God's promises, you can only choose one of two options. The Israelites had to choose one of two options. You cannot say that you have come out of Egypt, but you do not want to be a soldier and want to desert. You follow out of Egypt, cross the Red Sea, and then sneak away along that small path because you do not want to be a soldier. I guess there must have been Israelites who sneaked away. It is just that it is not recorded in the Bible.
There must have been those who sneaked away, not wanting to be in the army because the training was too cruel, and wanting to go to a place to do business on their own. Would God allow that? God would definitely not allow it. I tell you, God's eyes roam throughout the earth. You cannot escape anything on earth, so this is really fatal. Are there any Jewish "collaborators" here who are secretly colluding with these Egyptians? There definitely are.
In Egypt, the Israelites personally experienced and saw ten plagues. The Israelites and Egyptians simultaneously experienced the plagues of blood, frogs, and gnats. I think God's arrangement was too wonderful, allowing the Israelites to experience it and feel that this place was not a place to stay because it was too cruel.
The last seven plagues—the plagues of flies, livestock, hail, locusts, darkness, and the killing of the firstborn—were for the Egyptians. The Israelites saw with their own eyes that those who did not eat the Passover lamb, that is, those who did not put the blood on the doorframes and lintels, had their firstborn killed. All of this was done by God.
God used His mighty arm to deal with Pharaoh, the king of Egypt. That was the most powerful country in the world at that time, with the most advanced army. However, they could not resist a group of slaves. Could that group of slaves be released on their own? No, it was God's mighty arm. Today, aren't each of you Christians also released by God's mighty arm?
After that last plague, Pharaoh finally let the Israelites go. On the night the Israelites left Egypt, God said a word. He said, "The Lord's army has come out of Egypt." This means the beginning of training. Don't think that just because their clothes are tattered, the training will not be rigorous. In fact, it was devilish training.
Do you know that recently, some African countries' armies speak Shandong dialect because their generals were trained by people from Shandong? The Chinese army's training is devilish training, so those African countries' armies have also become very powerful. What is the purpose of good training? It is to enter the Promised Land.
They stayed in the wilderness for about one year and three months. They received the Sinai Covenant at Mount Sinai, preparing to be trained in the wilderness. After the training, they were to enter the Promised Land. Actually, I think it would have been fine to train for three or five years. But at that time, God was a little anxious, and the Israelites were also a little anxious, always asking when they could enter the Promised Land. As a result, after one year and three months of not being well-trained, they waited by the Jordan River and sent twelve spies over.
After those twelve spies returned, ten of them reported bad news. They said, "Oh, no, we can't go in. Going in is just asking for death." They didn't even die in Egypt. What kind of brains are these? Is the Egyptian Pharaoh weaker than the people of Canaan? The Pharaoh was much stronger than those people in Canaan. Even the Pharaoh could not do anything to you. After one year and three months of training, how can you be afraid of the Canaanites instead? I think these people's hearts are very evil.
As a result, because they were not well-trained, those ten spies who reported bad news died on the spot. What they feared came to them. Those who were afraid of death died the fastest. Christians are the same. Being the Lord's victorious elite soldier is the best choice. Whether you are willing or not, this is what you must face.
God delivered you from Egypt to train you in His army. But thus far, I find our training woefully inadequate; I am not satisfied. What kind of training is this? How difficult is it to write a note or do a reflection? Alas, there is no choice but to ask God to continue the training.
Brothers and sisters, understand that once a person comes out of Egypt and believes in the Lord, there is only one choice. Whether I like it or not, this office has been entrusted to me. If I do well, there will be rewards; if I do poorly, there will be woe. Since this is the case, why not do well? You have no choice before God. Later, those Israelites wandered in the wilderness for forty years until that entire generation died off, and only Joshua and Caleb entered the Promised Land.
So, one type of Christian remains slaves in Egypt. You are unwilling to come out; they made it clear from the start. Moses, go to Egypt and bring out the army of Jehovah. They were told plainly beforehand: if you want to come out, come out; if not, stay there. If, say, there are still a hundred Israelites remaining in Egypt, those hundred people will have to do the work of all three million.
Therefore, brothers and sisters, we have no choice. If you believe in the Lord but do not become part of the army of Jehovah God, you will have no way to obtain the Promised Land. If you dare not fight, your training is in vain, and you will die in the wilderness. So, the second type is the Christian who dies in the wilderness. The third type is the Christian who enters the Promised Land. Which type do you want to be? Surely, you want to be the Christian who fights victoriously, enters, and possesses God's promise.
Man is Enslaved in the World
In fact, Egypt symbolizes the world, and all of us are enslaved in the world. You say you are not a slave? Actually, some people really are. If we look closely at the people in this world, no matter how high an official they become, they are tightly bound. No matter how prosperous your business is, you are still tightly bound. Man is enslaved in the world until death, and then descends to the netherworld.
Many successful people, they look very successful, don't they? But ask them if they are happy. They are not. If you hate someone, let him start a business; if you hate someone, let him succeed. It is very hard after success. If you have a piece of fat meat in your hand, it will definitely attract a swarm of flies. If you don't have that piece of fat meat in your hand, the flies won't bother to come looking for you. This world binds people tightly, but people don't realize it; they think they already hold the highest power.
According to contemporary historical records, there was a president named Ceaușescu. Twenty minutes before, he was the president; later, the people revolted, and twenty minutes later, he became a death row inmate, executed on the spot. Can you understand that? People think they are safe when they reach that place, but actually, nowhere is safe. Was it easy for Hitler? It was not easy; it was very hard. No one in this world is not bound.
Therefore, my heart sometimes struggles. I very much hope that brothers and sisters will be blessed, but I also worry that after being blessed, they will not joyfully serve Jehovah your God. After people are blessed, they are easily ensnared by demons; Israel is an example. So, we are enslaved in this world. Why should we be tightly bound in this world?
See through, relinquish, let go. But how difficult it is to see through! Brothers and sisters must know that we are enslaved in this world. Don't ever think that it would be good to be an emperor. For example, the Roman Emperor Nero was later killed. And look at Zhu Yuanzhang, the founding emperor of the Ming Dynasty, how hard he lived, and in the end, he was also tightly bound, and his death was also miserable. He killed so many people; few of those who fought the world with him were able to remain.
Therefore, people in this world must see clearly that no matter what stage you reach, you are actually enslaved. Even those who achieve the small goal of one hundred million are now quite miserable. People are just tossed around in this world. So, do we want to come out of here? Of course, we do. When you feel extreme pain, you will cry out to God, "God, where are you? Why am I living so miserably?"
Successful people suffer, and unsuccessful people suffer even more. Where can we obtain freedom? In Jesus Christ. When we call upon God, God rescues us with His mighty arm. This world does not easily let you out; it is God who pulls you out from within with His mighty arm.
I used to be terribly oppressed by demons, and even had thoughts of dying. How unbearable was it at that time? I couldn't breathe; I had to gasp for air every little while, otherwise I would feel suffocated. My heart was very tight, and I couldn't breathe in; that feeling was really painful. I thought about dying, but before dying, I felt that something was not right, and I wondered if there was a God.
So, I called upon God. The moment I recognized God, my chest loosened, and my eyes brightened. Although the environment had not changed, my state of mind completely changed. God released me from the world with His mighty arm. Why should I still love the world? I want to love my God well. Meeting God is like a child who has been wandering for a long time returning to his parents' side, finally returning to God's side.
God saved me, and from now on, I will return to God. God, I will love you for the rest of my life, and never forsake you. I know that the taste of being a slave in this world is not good. Some people say that's because you haven't succeeded, but actually, the taste of success is not good either. I have seen many successful people, and later, when I served them in the church, I found that they were actually also very miserable. Thank the Lord that He released me from the world with His mighty arm, allowing me to know Him, and then I began to seek my God.
We must often remember our God, just as God commanded the Israelites to remember the Passover. On that day, the army of Jehovah came out of Egypt. Am I an army? I don't look like one no matter how I look. It turns out that it's not about whether it looks like it on the outside, but about what's on the inside. Thank God, God lifts me up step by step. Although I am in this world, I am in the kingdom of Jesus Christ, living so freely, so well.
Remember That You Came Out of the House of Slavery
The Passover is to commemorate that God saved your whole family with the blood of a lamb, and rescued you from Egypt with His mighty arm. But some people forget as they remember; people's memories are very magical. To avoid forgetting, we celebrate the Passover every year. Every year when we celebrate the Passover, we will remember that my ancestors were led out of the house of slavery in Egypt.
After being led out, they were to be the army of Jehovah God. Am I still that today? We must often ask ourselves this question. How good it is to come out, how good it is to be a valiant soldier of Jehovah God. How good it is to become a victorious army, a victorious valiant soldier, and draw upon God's promises. But many people immediately forget. When they arrive in the land of Canaan and see the giants there, they forget how great God is.
Brothers and sisters, take courage, tidy yourselves up again. No one is greater than God, no giant is greater than God. No Pharaoh of Egypt is greater than God. Our God is the greatest; if you trust in Him, nothing can collapse. I often advise brothers and sisters, nothing can collapse. The only trouble is fear; we must remember God's power.
Jehovah God led us out through His power, not through our martial arts, not through the martial arts of Moses and Aaron, but through God's power. The Israelites cried out to God in the house of slavery in Egypt, and God indeed heard them and brought them out. Isn't this a portrayal of us?
That Was the Army of Jehovah That Came Out of Egypt
Don't be surprised. After the Israelites came out of Egypt, they entered the wilderness for training because that was an army. I just want to live a good life; I didn't want to be an army. Then go back to Egypt, come out of the bondage of this world. Why should people become the army of Jehovah God? Because they lack no good thing.
This life is slavery. Success is slavery, failure is slavery, is a loser. Success is a slave to success, being an official is a slave to office. Thinking that being a county magistrate is not enough, a big mayor manages you. If you become a mayor, the governor manages you. If the governor is not big enough, well, you become the president. After becoming the president, you find that there are also many things you can't control, and what you say doesn't count.
We want to be free. Why do we think that seeking these successes in the affairs of this world is absolutely safe? It is safest in the army of Jehovah God; you lack no good thing. Will you lack? You will not lack; you will never lack anything in your life.
Some people say, "Teacher, you must grow bigger and stronger." When I hear this, I find it laughable. Grow bigger and stronger, and then go to jail.
What's the point of earning so much money? What do I need so much money for? Don't be surprised. You have no other choice; don't ask God why. Therefore, brothers and sisters, don't have one foot in the world and one foot in the army of God. You want to be torn apart by five horses? No need for five horses, two horses are enough.
I want to be an army, to be a soldier in the army of Jehovah. I want to fight victoriously, and I will begin to break away from this world. I say break away, not that you don't work; you still work, but your heart is in the kingdom of God, preparing to receive the training of a valiant soldier.
God's Will is for Us to Receive the Training of a Valiant Soldier
Every training is an exercise of faith. It is certainly hard in the wilderness. If you believe, God's power is on you. God not only fights for us, but also becomes the strength in our hearts. The training of a valiant soldier is the training of faith. Don't ask so many whys; accept it with equanimity. Although it is hard, I will still choose to fight victoriously and enter the Promised Land.
Why train in the wilderness? Because we are going to enter the Promised Land. If we experience God every day, will we still be afraid when we encounter a slightly bigger difficulty? We will not be afraid. If we can overcome that slightly bigger difficulty, we can overcome an even bigger one. Even if giants stand before us, we will be fearless.
It is God who fights for us. God is before us, having already trampled the devil and the enemy. Who can be greater than God? How good it is for us to receive this training of a valiant soldier. Therefore, in my heart, there is a firm belief that diabetes will be healed, and cancer will be healed.
But the problem is, I can bring him out of there. But will he be a valiant soldier of the army of Jehovah God, or will he still have a timid heart? I tell you, a person who trusts in God does not need to be timid or alarmed. Accepting the training of a valiant soldier, that is courage.
Prepare to Enter the Promised Land and Possess the Land
That is a land flowing with milk and honey. Enter the Promised Land and possess the land. There is everything there; we lack no good thing. I tell you, all our needs in life can be met in Jesus Christ; that is the Promised Land. You ask me what is most needed to build a church? What is most needed to build a church is to draw upon God's promises.
What is most needed to build a church is to live out God's glorious image, to live out His dignity, glory, and power. Everyone, start preparing yourselves, no longer worrying about lacking money in the world, no longer worrying about lacking ability. Don't worry about anything; just be valiant soldiers of God and enter the Promised Land. Amen.
Our sermon ends here. May God bless everyone.
