I. Seek the Revelation of the Holy Spirit to Understand God's Word
- Basic Bible reading skills such as identifying key points, grasping themes, and understanding context only require ordinary wisdom. However, if these are not done well, the guidance of the Holy Spirit is indeed necessary.
- A person's intelligence depends on whether the Spirit of God is in their heart. Cultivating the habit of seeking the Holy Spirit will make a person increasingly intelligent, because God requires us to seek Him constantly.
- It is normal to not understand initially through prayer, repeated pondering, and prolonged study. This is precisely how God motivates people to seek.
- The Holy Spirit will guide us into truth. Through continuous seeking and prayer, the truth will suddenly become clear in the mind, bringing joy.
II. Act on God's Word After Reading It, Requiring the Revelation of the Holy Spirit
- Understanding God's Word does not mean being able to act on it immediately. God's Word, such as Jesus' Sermon on the Mount (Matthew chapters 5 to 7), often consists of difficult parables designed to motivate us to seek and act.
- Understand "God created you in my image, do as I do." When facing a situation of "formless and void," one must declare "Let there be light," like God, to solve the problem.
- Reading God's Word and acting on it is our most important basic principle. If we do not know how to act, we need to seek God's guidance.
- God created Adam to manage the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, the livestock on the ground, and the entire earth, not just to go to heaven or hell. Our task is to manage, and we will continue to manage in the new heaven and new earth.
- Chinese Mingding Doctrine will develop a series of management courses, including speaking, dictation, finance, human resources, projects, sales, etc., to cultivate talents who can "operate and manage."
III. Be a Seeker
- Constant seeking brings continuous growth, without end. Like a treasure hunt, each treasure found brings new discoveries and joy.
- The gospel of Jesus Christ is a gospel that solves problems like cancer and unemployment, rather than justifying these sufferings.
- It doesn't matter if the starting point is low. Like a tortoise in a race, crawl slowly, and one day you will reach the other shore and find the "treasure."
- Do not be the kind of person who prays for a long time but has an empty mind. Seeking should be an active exploration and reflection.
IV. Be Someone Who Does Not Give Up Easily
- God sometimes deliberately delays revelation to train our faith, to see if we can find it.
- God likes to train people's character, sometimes allowing them to experience waiting and suffering. Even if revelation is obtained at the last moment, one must persevere.
- God will only reveal to those who seek and have faith, and do not give up easily, cultivating the habit of repeatedly listening to recordings and studying. Like the foolish old man removing the mountain, if you give up prematurely, even angels cannot help.
- Even when facing difficulties, and even potential "embarrassment," persevere, do not speak nonsense, and believe that God is real.
V. Live Out God's Likeness: Learn to Create and Solve Problems
- The Bible repeatedly emphasizes that we should live out God's likeness, which means learning to "create." To solve problems, one must have the image of God, and this requires seeking and believing in God's Word.
- The essence of creation is solving problems. Encountering problems is the beginning of creation. "Creation" is doing new things to solve problems, while "operation" is repeating old things.
- Whether one sees despair or an opportunity for creation in the face of "formless and void, darkness over the surface of the deep" depends on one's perspective.
- The church will evolve into a research and training institution, training leaders to become researchers and trainers. This is studying how God leads us to solve problems and create continuously.
- Working in the Spirit of God is not tiring, and one can be above and not below, becoming strong in the workplace. By training subordinates and solving problems, one can turn chaos into order, bringing inner peace.
