[Bible Study] Hebrews Chapter 02 - Precious Salvation

2020-02-14 79,441 Hebrews Fearlessness in the Face of Death Salvation Glory Eternal Life Honor Retribution

Introduction

In the previous chapter, we discussed that angels are not more noble than humans. This was addressed to the Jews, who held angels in higher esteem than humans. The Book of Hebrews was written to the Jews, who consistently harbored numerous myths about angels. If one carefully reads the Book of Ezekiel, the descriptions of the four living creatures and other visions are all about what was seen.

The Jewish prophets considered what they saw as extremely important. However, in the New Testament, both the Lord Jesus and the Apostle Paul rarely discussed the appearance of angels. Particularly, the Apostle Paul, although he was caught up to the third heaven and saw inexpressible things, focused on the dignity of man and the preciousness of salvation in his epistles.

Chapter 1 of Hebrews emphasizes that humans are more noble than angels. Therefore, brothers and sisters, you should know that humans are very dignified. Since humans are dignified, salvation is even more precious, because it can restore us to the glorious image of God. For many, salvation is merely about going to heaven or hell. I do not often speak of heaven or hell. Instead, I prefer to emphasize living out God’s glorious image while we are alive.

The Bible clearly records that Enoch walked with God for three hundred years and was taken by Him. If we carefully read the Bible, we find many such occurrences. Our God is the God of the living, not the God of the dead, as Jesus said. This means that salvation has a profound impact on our entire life. We must clearly understand what salvation is. If it is only for going to heaven after death, then there is no need to bother while we are alive.

A careful reading of the Bible reveals that many things are related to earthly matters. Deuteronomy 28 states that blessings are received while one is alive, and curses are not only experienced after death. When we read the Bible today, *we must know that God is the God of the living, not the God of the dead. We should restore the glorious image of God while alive, not just aim to go to heaven after death.

Salvation is Too Precious to Lose

Today, I will speak on the topic of “Precious Salvation.” This salvation is exceedingly precious.

Therefore we must give the more earnest heed to the things we have heard, lest we drift away. For if the word spoken through angels proved steadfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just reward, how shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation, which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed to us by those who heard Him (Hebrews 2:1-3).

Truly, it is too precious, so we must not drift away from this salvation. What does it mean to drift away? It means it is easy to lose. When carefully reading the Bible, one often sees repeated emphasis on keeping and obeying! Keeping and obeying! Keeping and obeying! “Keeping” refers to being cautious and guarding. Obeying what? Obeying all the statutes and ordinances written in the book of the law.

The New Testament also states that man lives by every word that comes from the mouth of God, not just some words, but every word. We must not drift away from this salvation. In this era, too many people are drifting away from it. If you ask me how I know that these people have lost their salvation, it is because I see too many Christians saying, “I was born again and saved in such-and-such year.” Who was earlier, who was later… Although they have been born again and saved, I see no resemblance to Jesus in them. This is extremely perplexing.

Once, I went to Shandong, and a real estate businessman hosted me. I stayed at his home. He asked me a very serious question. He said, “A pastor who preached here said that out of a thousand Christians, nine hundred and ninety-nine will go to hell, and only one will go to heaven. What do you think?” Looking at his expression, I knew that he did not quite agree with this statement. I said, “I have not been there, so I do not know. If you meet that pastor again, ask him if he has been to heaven and hell. If he has not, tell him not to talk nonsense in the future.”

People often like to talk nonsense. Why do they talk nonsense? I do not quite understand. There is absolutely no biblical basis for it. The Bible never says that out of a thousand Christians, nine hundred and ninety-nine will go to hell, and only one will go to heaven. I have searched the Bible and cannot find such a verse. What is the problem? The problem is that we must have a very clear understanding.

Later, the real estate businessman asked me how I viewed the matter. This is how I saw it: If you live like Jesus, you will return to Jesus after death; if you live like the devil, you will return to the devil after death. In this era, there are many nominal Christians who do not have the image of Jesus at all. Instead, they are controlled by the spirit of Jezebel. There are truly too many Christians with the image of the devil.

In this era, we see many interesting phenomena. For example, when one mentions charismatic churches, many people imagine a scene where the pastor speaks into a microphone with a loud voice, and many people fall down below the stage, and many are healed. When I first believed in the Lord, I was in such a church. At the time, I was very confused. I had several good friends in this church. Every Sunday, the pastor would call out, and they would fall down. After falling down, they would cover themselves with a blanket, lie there for a long time before getting up, and then go home.

Because we interacted in private, I knew that they had not changed. They would fall down again every week, but they remained the same. I wondered what they were doing. I did not quite understand. What was the problem? Now I understand that the precious salvation is to enable us to live out the image of Jesus Christ while we are alive. If we do not live out the image of Jesus Christ, what is the problem? The problem is that we have not kept and obeyed God’s word, have not acted according to God’s word.

Recently, I have gained a deep understanding of healing and deliverance: either keep and obey, or do not keep and obey. If you keep and obey, you will be blessed; if you do not keep and obey, you will be cursed. The Bible lists two tables, one for blessings and one for curses. The list of curses is quite frightening. Once, when I was preaching and mentioned this, a brother from a traditional church in North America told me that I could not say that. In fact, I was just reciting what the Bible says.

This brother gave me an example, saying that Song Shangjie also suffered from hemorrhoids while serving God, and the hemorrhoids were so severe that he bled. It is said that one day, he fainted on the podium while preaching because of the bleeding. I think that hemorrhoids bleeding like that are not a good thing, cancer is not a good thing, and tumors are not a good thing. Suffering from such long-lasting and severe illnesses and disasters is not a good thing.

Some brothers and sisters from traditional churches often visit members in the hospital. They have some incorrect theological concepts in their minds. For example, when visiting a member with cancer, they say, “This is God’s blessing in disguise.” I would like to say, if such a blessing were offered to you, would you want it? You certainly would not, so do not casually say things without basis.

We must know to give the more earnest heed to the things we have heard, lest we drift away. Why is it called drifting away? Because this salvation is easy to lose. The salvation we have received today is very precious. If we are not careful, we will follow the crowd, do what everyone else is doing, and then lose our salvation. The salvation we have received today is very precious, very, very precious, and even easier to drift away from. Everyone must know that precious things are delicate and fragile, so we must all be careful and guard them! If you neglect such a precious salvation, you will be punished. This is what the Book of Hebrews says, not what I say.

If You Lose Salvation, You Will Be Punished

We must clearly know that if we neglect salvation, we will be punished. Salvation is too precious, and if we truly lose it, it is a very sad thing. Let us count the Book of Numbers, from chapter one to chapter twenty-six. Chapter one counted the number of Israelites who could bear arms, and chapter twenty-six counted the number of those who could bear arms again. Except for Joshua and Caleb, all the numbers were new, uncounted people.

Six hundred thousand people all died in the wilderness, and not one could enter the promised land. The most detestable was the company of Korah, who went down alive into Sheol. We should believe in the Lord very rigorously. You may say that this is too difficult, who can do it? Actually, it is not that we cannot do it because it is too difficult, because with man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible! If we cannot do it, we can choose to trust in God, and our God can do it!

We must understand that losing salvation is a matter of life and death. The Book of Numbers records this. Do you think this is the God of the Old Testament, and the God of the New Testament is not like this? If we think that the God of the New Testament is Santa Claus, then we must be mistaken. In fact, the Jesus we believe in is the Jesus who speaks with a sharp sword from His mouth. When we read the Book of Numbers, we see that God strikes down batch after batch. Everyone does not understand why God does this. Some Christians even defend God. I have seen many pastors explain that this was not God who struck them down. Actually, there is no need to explain for God. This is God’s action. We must carefully discern what we hear.

Therefore we must give the more earnest heed to the things we have heard, lest we drift away (Hebrews 2:1).

I am most afraid that our brothers and sisters do not value salvation. Do you think you will have a good life after you lose it? It will be very difficult. I have attended many funerals. Many pastors who served God died long after getting cancer. Then I would say to God, “God, please keep me谨守遵行 your words throughout my life. If I accidentally sin, please discipline me.”

I ask God to discipline me, so God disciplines me very severely. I am disciplined immediately for even a small sin. In the past, when I established a church, I would prepare many delicious things, such as sauced beef, roast chicken, and roast duck, to attract people to believe in the Lord. Later, I was cursed. At that time, my work was in dire straits, and eventually, I had no work to do. However, I quickly reflected on my actions and realized that I had not done the right thing. I thought at the time, how would others come if I told them about Jesus? I had to use delicious food to attract people, thinking that this would attract some people, and then I would tell them about Jesus. As a result, even having wrong thoughts was not allowed, and God began to discipline me. My work was immediately cursed.

Everyone must know that our Lord Jesus Christ was lifted up and nailed to the cross, and this itself can attract all people to follow Him. Thanks to God’s discipline, I completely overturned and rebuilt, and that is how the victorious church of today came to be. This precious salvation is really good. If you are willing to believe, we will save all our medical expenses for our entire lives, and we will use the time we spend in the hospital to serve the Lord Jesus and use the money spent on treating illnesses to奉献 to the Lord Jesus. How wonderful that all who come among us are healed.

We must be very careful and know how precious our salvation is. How can we escape if we neglect so great a salvation? If we neglect salvation, the end will be like the Israelites who fell in the wilderness.

When I first believed in the Lord, there was a young pastor in our church who drove his newly bought Mercedes-Benz and crashed into a sprinkler truck, and his family of three died in the car accident. I attended his funeral, and I stood beside him and said, God, please keep me and let me not love this world all my life, but love only you. Later, there was another couple who bought an expensive car, and then their family of three also died in a car accident. I attended his funeral, and I prayed to God: May God discipline me, and I will walk in your words all my life, and I will live only for you.

What's the point of living for myself? If I neglect this salvation, I will receive the punishment I deserve. Besides, what's so good about that car? I only have one hobby in my life, and my hobby is to serve God. Serving God is very exciting in my life. When I see those Christians who don't think Jesus Christ is precious, I feel sad.

But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed (Isaiah 53:5).

Because of Jesus' poverty, we are rich, and the answers to all our problems in life are in this salvation. Then He made us live out the image of a noble and glorious life, giving us glory and honor as a crown. Don't let such a precious salvation drift away!

Some time ago, I spent two thousand Singapore dollars to take a course, but all two thousand Singapore dollars went down the drain. The people who lectured there just neglected this precious salvation. They said: Your calling is your job, and your destiny is your job. And our destiny is to be a blessing to this generation, and even a blessing to several generations in the future, because there is great grace hidden in this destiny!

Why did God bless Abraham? Because Abraham was looking for his destiny. If herding sheep was his destiny, he would not have to look for another destiny. In fact, he knew that living was vanity of vanities. If living is vanity of vanities, we must find the meaning of living. We do not live to work. The meaning of our life is to serve God and manifest God's glory. We originally have the glorious image of Jesus Christ, and now we can rely on the precious salvation of Jesus Christ to restore the glorious image in us.

Wherever I go, I use miracles and wonders to manifest God's glory, and many people are healed through my hands. A Singaporean's eyes were about to go blind. I led him to pray and his eyes could see. My mother has also received very great benefits. She does not have to spend a penny, and all the medical expenses are saved. A tumor half the size of a soccer ball disappeared from her leg. How good is this grace? What is better than Jesus Christ?

How shall we escape if we ignore so great a salvation? This salvation, which was first announced by the Lord, was confirmed to us by those who heard him. God also testified to it with signs, wonders and various miracles, and gifts of the Holy Spirit, distributed according to his will (Hebrews 2:3-4).

God's salvation has been confirmed. I don't want to believe in the wrong Lord, because I am a very rigorous person. To what extent is it precious to believe in salvation? We know that building fighter jets is a precision project, and no one dares to fly fighter jets built casually and sloppily. If a car is built casually, and the brakes are prone to failure, no one dares to ride in that car. Anything that has super-powerful capabilities is very precise.

The salvation we have inherited allows us to soar on wings like eagles. Do not soar on wings like pigs. Recently, we have often heard that pigs can fly in the wind, which actually refers to seizing opportunities. But what happens after the wind passes? After the wind passes, the eagle still flies, but the pig falls into a meat pie. But we must know that the salvation we have inherited is truly precious.

I initially established the church, written with tears, and spent all day making those foods, and in the end, I not only resembled Jesus, but also caused me a lot of trouble. Later, I went everywhere to study, and I was very puzzled, with few people seemed like Jesus. Later, I understood and learned: We must be like Jesus. Believing correctly means being like Jesus. What are we doing if we are not like Jesus? Jesus did this, and a patient would be healed with a touch of the hand, but when I touch them, it doesn't work. Some pastors would actually cause death upon contact; it would have been better if they had not made contact. And so I said, God, I want to be like you. If I am not like you today, I strive towards it for tomorrow; if I am not like you tomorrow, I will strive towards it for the day after tomorrow, until I increasingly resemble you. And later I truly did become more and more like him.

There was a brother who belonged to a traditional church who became depressed while studying in Japan. After he contacted me, I led him in prayer and his depression was half healed. Later, he returned to his hometown and saw his grandfather with two legs unable to stand on the ground. Their local preacher was beside his grandfather at the time, and then he called me. I led his grandfather in prayer, and his grandfather was able to stand and walk. However, he blacklisted me two hours later. I suspected this was because their families’ preacher thought that正统的福音 was not capable of enabling his grandfather to stand, and that the ability to enable his grandfather to stand belonged to the异端.

What do you call that? I'm really stumped, those who are like Jesus become 异端,while those who are not like Jesus become 正统了? However, in my heart, there is a deep pursuit to desperately like Jesus, and indeed, I truly am increasingly like Jesus. What a precious salvation this is! Being able to do what Jesus did, what could be better than this?

Someone curiously asked me: You don't sleep much, why are you so energetic? I usually sleep very late, but I get up early every day, and sometimes I take a little rest for an hour in the afternoon, but I'm so spirited! I also feel this is really God because I'm so 精又神, eyes are sparkling, mind is clear, you can tell that this is a reasonable person. Also, I have a pursuit because I want to imitate Jesus in this whole life, and I want to train all of our church brothers and sisters so that they become more and more shrewd and more and more like God.

Once, when I was preaching, I still shudder when I recall the topic because my 主日讲道's name was We Are God. In the Bible, Jesus said, isn't it written in the scriptures that we are gods? Those who diligently keep and abide by God's word are even called gods by God. When the Son of God came into the world, they treated this man as just any ordinary person, and they even were going to nail him on the cross, which is really deadly. This salvation must be demonstrated, and signs and wonders must accompany those who believe because if signs and wonders do not accompany those who believe, it will be deadly, so I feel that I did not do it right before.

Do you all know what shrewdness is? Realizing when there are mistakes! What must people be thinking when they are completely wrong but thinks he is right? I thank God, because He once said because because寻找的一定可以寻见', and so I finally underwent a turn. No matter who you are, as long as you search accordingly with God's intent, you definitely will be able to find it.

Now I have set out down a path that resembles Jesus. Next, there will be more and more of our brothers and sisters walking down a path that is like Jesus because this is a demonstrated path where God uses signs and wonders, as well as every kind of异能 manifest He is God. I want to ask you this, how did Jesus prove He was the Son of God when He came to this world? Answer: Not through false and lying words of men. The answers were delivered because are through demonstration of His almighty power.

Lots of pastors these days use theology to prove themselves. Can that possibly be true? The most prolific users of lies are liars, but all liars don't practice what they preach. There are people who say we should be doing方言祷告 in particular ways; otherwise, it won't be established. They haven't even performed 圣灵's prayer. Then what are they even saying? Blind leading blind? God's salvation can deliver, not an unachievable task. Direct entrance into heaven is one of the many deliveries possible. Is Heaven's door something we can measure? Being like Jesus is a fatal, but worthy, pursuit!

God Crowns Us with Glory and Honour

Hebrews 2:7 states that God crowns us with glory and honour. God never said this to the angels. The reason is simple. If we go back to the time of Adam and Eve, we might think that God created them, but then allowed them to eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, after which they died. Some might feel that God was too harsh. Why did He do that? It was because God wanted man to triumph. As Revelation shows, there is a beautiful ending for all who triumph.

Chinese Mingding Destiny speaks of a theology of triumph, not merely one of going to heaven after death. We must triumph on Earth. Triumphing in this world will result in being crowned with glory and honour, making life vibrant. Some pastors complain to me about the hardship of their ministry, leading to depression, insomnia, and even cancer. But I do not understand how serving God can become such a burden.

Recently, I visited a church where I saw only the old, weak, sick, and disabled, all looking frail. This may sound harsh, but it is the truth: a newcomer was not received. Because none were trained to serve as ushers, the entire process was chaotic, each minding their own business, with no one paying attention to me. The problem lies in the inability to triumph! Establishing a church without triumph is a tragedy. If the church can triumph, then pastors and congregants alike will enjoy it. Without triumph, life is miserable.

As a Northeasterner, when the Japanese invaded, we were second-class citizens after losing the war. Was it enjoyable? No, it is better to be in charge, so one must have a mindset of glory and honour. The gospel I preach is always a gospel of honour. I do not beg people to accept this precious gospel. I would never do that, because the gospel proclaimed now is one of glory and honour.

Thank God, no matter how prominent the entrepreneurs I meet, they treat me with respect, recognizing me as a capable pastor because I can truly solve their problems. Having travelled extensively, the feedback I get from entrepreneurs who have heard me is that they find my gospel credible, as if it were the true way. Pastors and their wives should not act like servants, lowering their status; a servile mentality must be avoided.

Today, God can bestow a crown of glory and honour because He has overcome the world. With glory and honour already as a crown, what do we need to do? We need to put everything under our feet. Some might think this refers only to Jesus and that you cannot steal His glory! But remember, those who belong to God are united with Jesus; what is Jesus' is mine, and what is mine is Jesus'.

Some have said that even though a couple owns their own property, it is mutually available because of their relationship. So what is it now? What is Jesus' is mine, and what is mine is Jesus'. I can give my life for Jesus! God wants to delegate the management of all He has created to us, to subject all things under His feet. I have reason to say this; see, since all things are subjected to Him, there is nothing left un-subjected.

But we do not yet see all things subjected to Him. What does this mean? It means that Jesus has been exalted to the highest place, seated at the right hand of our Father. Has He not subjected all things under His feet? Do we think that all living things on Earth have been subjected to Him? That is not the case. What does this refer to? How should we understand this? It refers to His people, the sons and daughters He brings into God's presence, who have not yet subjected all things under their feet. When is it that all things are subjected under their feet? When the glorious New Jerusalem descends from heaven, all things will be subjected under feet. So we need to understand today that a triumphant Christian is a very important concept.

We triumph on Earth for Jesus Christ. Our triumph will glorify God's name, and our triumph will bring exceedingly rich glory and rewards. So what is the gospel we believe in? It is that grace is obtained by triumphing in battle, and the promised land is obtained by triumphing in battle. If you do not believe me, check the Old Testament. Those who do not triumph or dare to fight will die in the wilderness or because of laziness and failure to fight. They will also die in the wilderness.

The concept of triumphing in battle to enter the promised land must be established. Let us subject all things under our feet. Do you think this salvation is honourable? I really want to remind everyone: what do all things include? They include Hades, hell, the devil, all things, and all created things must be subjected under our feet. That is to say, if we were to rank, we are as honourable as God, and then comes the angels.

Therefore, we must hold fast to this precious salvation we have received because it was bought with the precious blood of Jesus. Jesus is the only begotten Son of the Eternal God. He became flesh, and through the suffering of death, He achieved a crown of glory and honour.

But we do see Jesus, who was made lower than the angels for a little while, now crowned with glory and honor because he suffered death, so that by the grace of God he might taste death for everyone. In bringing many sons and daughters to glory, it was fitting that God, for whom and through whom everything exists, should make the pioneer of their salvation perfect through what he suffered. (Hebrews 2:9-10)

Triumph, then, is a matter of paying a price. A system of logic of salvation without paying a price is also very popular. Some time ago, I ministered to a depressed patient, and after releasing her from depression, I wanted to push her into triumph, but I could not push her up no matter what. She was simply an incorrigible person. But that is okay, if you want to be a person who is happy to eat and lazy to work, then I will not keep you here, we do not welcome such a person.

Later, she felt very uncomfortable in our church. She told me that she wanted to go to another church and have a look there for two months first. Then I said, then don't come back! What are you coming back for? In fact, when she left, I rejoiced, because God was working in our church, sifting out those who were not in unity with our church. People who gratify the flesh cannot follow us to triumph, so I can insist on not compromising and build this united and triumphant team.

After a while, this sister came back to see me again. Our relationship was still good, but the words I said to her were always very hurtful. After we met, I asked her about her situation and learned that a pastor who gratified the flesh was pastoring a member who gratified the flesh. People who do not triumph, how can they receive a crown of glory and honour? Later she had to go back to take care of her sick mother.

The salary in Singapore is not high, four or five thousand dollars a month. That is sixty thousand Singapore dollars a year plus CPF, provident funds, and other subsidies. It is about seventy thousand Singapore dollars a year, which is 350,000 yuan. Because she was going to take care of her mother, she would not have this income of 350,000 yuan a year. If you were among us, and we prayed for your mother, she could be healed without spending a penny. This is the authority bought with the precious blood of the Lord Jesus, which makes us completely united with the Lord Jesus.

For both the one who makes people holy and those who are made holy are of the same family. So Jesus is not ashamed to call them brothers and sisters. This is very encouraging thing! The Eternal God, the God who created the universe, calls us His brothers. What could be better than this! If Lee Kuan Yew were still alive, and he often patted me on the shoulder and called me a good brother, then I could walk sideways in Singapore.

Now there is an Eternal God who is patting us on the shoulder and saying: I am going to give you a very precious salvation, you are my good brother. You tell me, what is more precious than this? So He who sanctifies is our incarnate Jesus Christ, who defeats death through death and rises from the dead so that we can be sanctified. By relying on Jesus Christ, we overcome all temptations and all demons and can live a triumphant life in this world, finally becoming one with Jesus Christ.

The union of God and man is simply wonderful. Some people who practice Qigong to a certain level think that they are united with God and man, but the union of God and man is not done that way; it is through the salvation of Jesus Christ. So brothers and sisters, we must truly feel that this gospel is precious and that the concept of being united with God must be established. Therefore, in the gospel I preach, I will never say things like how can you steal God's glory. There are no such words in the Bible. Jesus never said that believers steal God's glory when they do things, and neither did the Apostle Paul.

Regarding the Apostle Paul, when they were giving testimonies, they mentioned that when Paul laid hands on people, the sick were healed. If I were like Paul as written in the Bible, then I would also be able to lay hands on the sick, and the sick would be healed. Some will say, how can you steal God's glory? I am one with God, from whom am I stealing it? I am not divided from God, we are one. Therefore, His glory is my glory, and my glory is also His glory, and what I do is all in the name of Jesus. What a wonderful thing this is.

Live in Eternal Life Today and No Longer Fear Death

How precious is this salvation? It is that we can overcome ghosts! Why are people afraid of ghosts? Ghosts are invisible and intangible. We are in the open, and the ghosts punch you in the dark. Where do you go to complain? I tell you, ghosts are too hateful, but because we have obtained salvation, we can overcome the devil through Jesus Christ. So God wants to destroy him who holds the power of death, the devil, through death, and to free those who are afraid of death and degrade themselves into slavery. See, how well said. Therefore, I tell you, this spirit of death is a very small spirit, but all diseases come from them.

There is no death without sickness during the process of birth, aging, sickness and death. We must take up spiritual authority and destroy this devil who holds the power of death. In the spiritual world, I often go to destroy the devil who holds the power of death. What I like most is praying for the sick. When you pray for others, and they are healed after praying, do you know what will happen in the end? Your name will resonate in the spiritual battlefield.

When I prayed for some people, I experienced many spiritual things. Some patients did not even know my name. But the ghost inside him knew it and mentioned my name in trepidation when the ghost inside him spoke. Brothers and sisters, start to understand that when you are united with God and imitate Jesus Christ, you can walk out of the fear of death, and death is no longer our problem.

Our Jesus Christ has freed us, and we are no longer slaves because of the fear of death. Live in eternal life today, and practice faith in the continuous pursuit of becoming like Jesus. God will surely reign in us. Let us completely destroy the devil in our spirit and in the thoughts and intentions of our mind. I want to tell you, brothers and sisters, if we can overcome diseases in our life, that will be an extremely blessed thing.

There is a funny joke that someone had money but no place to spend it, so he took a taxi and asked the driver to take him to the most expensive place to spend money. As a result, the taxi driver took him to the entrance of a hospital in Beijing. Indeed, hospitals are the most expensive places to spend money. If you get sick, you have to give it 100,000 yuan, 200,000 yuan, or 300,000 yuan, and all your life savings will be sent to the hospital. There is also a famous saying in Singapore: curing the disease is also death, because the money is all spent; not curing the disease is also death. Once a person enters the door of the hospital, they open the door to death. After the treatment, if there is no money, what should they do? How should they live? Singapore does not have a pension, so it is very miserable.

Some time ago, there was an old man who gave fortunes and drew talismans for people. He stayed in the hospital for ten months and spent all his CPF savings. Later, he was discharged from the hospital and heard from his friend that I could cure diseases here without charging any fees, so he came to me. You know, he could only take three or five inches with each step he walked on the ground. It was very scary, he could not move his feet, and his waist and back were stiff. Because he used to draw talismans for people, there were many evil spirits living in him, and he had experienced a lot of spiritual events. I prayed for him, his legs were loosened, his waist and back were loosened, but it was too difficult for me to make him a triumphant Christian.

In the end, he still chose to go back to his original life. Why? Because he had no money. Because he had no money, he continued to do those dark things, relying on drawing talismans and fortune-telling to make money. Before long, he was admitted to the hospital again. Later, I did not know any news about him. Brothers and sisters, know how precious our salvation is today. It is the salvation that overcomes the devil who holds the power of death. It is a tragedy if we cannot triumph in our life. It is even more of a tragedy if we cannot triumph through Jesus Christ.

One of the characteristics of my life is that I am not afraid of anything, not even death. When I was over forty years old, I had all the symptoms of nasopharyngeal carcinoma. At that time, a good friend of mine also had nasopharyngeal carcinoma, and our symptoms were exactly the same. He was frightened after knowing the result, but I did not take a single sick day, and nine months later, my illness was cured, but he was lying in a coffin. I went to his funeral, and I said in my heart: Buddy, one of us was afraid of death and still died, But one of us was not afraid of death and couldn't die.

In fact, I had a hope in my heart, which was to leave this world sooner, but I could not leave, because the mission was not completed, and God let me continue to live in this world. If we live one day, we still have to triumph one day, until we see the face of the Lord. How can we be afraid of death? If we are afraid of death, we still have to die. Brothers and sisters, after listening to my sharing, you must know how precious the salvation we believe in is, that is, it has already overcome the power of death.

The reason why this salvation is so precious is that our Jesus Christ is the same as us in everything. If you poke Jesus with an awl, He does not just touch it and be okay, He will still feel pain like us. When He is being tortured with nails, He too will scream. That kind of enduring pain is very hard. But why do it this way? Because Jesus Christ wants to be the same as us in everything, it is to save us from all temptations, and the devil knows this very well, and the devil also knows very well how to overcome Christians.

Why do we say that the devil knows best how to overcome Christians? In the days of Balaam in the Book of Numbers, he did one thing, Balaam could not curse the Israelites. Later, Balaam came up with an idea to have the Midianite and Moabite women seduce the Israelites to commit fornication. As a result, God struck down more than 20,000 Israelites, and more than 20,000 people died just like that.

So we need to know that the devil defeats us through temptation. When we are tempted, we must choose to triumph. If we get lost in the process of this temptation, we're in trouble. Brothers and sisters, this precious salvation is to enable us to overcome temptation, overcome the devil, and rely on all the words that come from the mouth of God. May God bless everyone!

This salvation is for us to trample all things under our feet and manage all things

I saw this Bible study in a friend's circle of the healing and deliverance course. It's really like a bolt from the blue! I only knew that salvation was precious before, but I never thought that following the crowd would lose salvation! This also made me understand why I see that the problems of many brothers and sisters in the church are not solved! I will study the Bible well in the future, and I really can't be casual about God's words.
