Some people toil and worry for work or business, but these are vanity! Fearing God is what truly matters. We must be wise and not toil and worry for money, work, or business. Know that being bitter in sickness is a tragedy, a great misfortune.

We must seize the opportunity to come joyfully before God, to His temple. Know that we bear God’s noble image. One day we will come before God to receive the crown of glory. Thinking of such things excites us, God's love teaches us. Behold! God allows us to live out His countenance, lift up your heads! Cast away all fear, the future will be better.

Let us take up God's weapons, put on the armor God has prepared for us, enter the Promised Land, and inherit the land. This is our future. No matter how many promises God has made, they are faithful in Jesus Christ and will be fulfilled in us. In the past, we loved money and suffered many hardships and misfortunes. Now we love God and live in His truth. In the past, we feared our bosses and customers. Now we fear God alone.

Sometimes I am truly moved by the fact that some people think they are clever, but they are foolish; some people think they are powerful, but they are really very foolish. Once people think they are clever and that what they are doing is right, they have basically fallen into a circle of folly. What should they do? Some people rely on this false honor, false hope, and false self-esteem to prop up their sense of existence. This is a tragedy and a misfortune. Now we must begin to come out of foolishness.

One sister said, Teacher, please pray for my sister. She has a cerebral hemorrhage and is paralyzed. She is now following along with the prayers. I ask you, why did such a thing happen? It was all caused by foolishness! Alas, it is very moving! If you think you have done everything perfectly in your life, that is foolish. If people think that they have done nothing wrong in their lives, that is terrible. If you feel that you have loved God very much, and wonder why God still treats you this way, that is bad! All this is folly.

Some people see injustice and tragedies in this world and think, God, why do you not care? Actually, you do not need to tell God, because that is called foolishness and will bring disaster. Did you not know that many people want to tell God, God! You should do this, you should do that! I think it is a good thing God has not crushed you.

I saw one sister say that her son has a stomachache. We also have a sister whose husband is a foreigner. Please translate what I say to him, so that he can listen and come out of his foolishness. If a person does not know that life is vanity of vanities and still thinks he is clever, and wants to use God to make money, is that not a tragedy?

Now begin to live out God’s image, begin to know that you are a foolish person, know that you are a human! There are many things that people do not know. You cannot control when you are born or when you die, you cannot say for certain when you can defecate or urinate. You are nothing! You are just a person, but God has prepared a wonderful future for us. Stop using false self-esteem to seek a sense of existence. Begin to come before God in reality, know that you need God, know that God loves us, humble yourselves and fear Him.

People must know that life is really not long. Do not live out toil and sorrow, or sickness and bitterness, in your life. Be joyful. Many times, do you not know? Work is a grace, service and ministry are also a grace! I often hear some people tell me, “Teacher, see how busy I am with work, and I still take the time to do ministry and pastoral care.” When I hear such words, I feel very strange. Service is a grace, do you all understand? If people do work, service, ministry, and pastoral care in toil, then I think they should just forget about it! Those pastors and co-workers among us, look at the people under you. If they are doing it painfully, then take the burden off them. Do not do it anymore, because the church does not need it. There is no need to force it.

Let us all rejoice! In a moment, I will lead everyone in prayer. For now, listen to what I am saying and drive out the foolishness in your troubles. A pastor got brain cancer. His friend, who is also a pastor, insisted on pulling me to minister to him. I said, How did you get brain cancer? He said, Look, we pastors can only rest one day a week. He made me laugh out of annoyance. How many days do you want to rest? I said to him, Since I was in my twenties, since I was in university, I have basically never rested a single day, and I have not gotten brain cancer! Because there is something in me called: Work is grace, service is grace! Everything is grace, so what are you complaining about? Do you understand?

I think someone like that is bound to get brain cancer. Look at how painfully he lives, feeling that his service is very great, as if he is making a great sacrifice. I think this person is really foolish, he has been a pastor in vain and has no understanding of the Word. I want to share the words of the Preacher with everyone, is that alright? If you think you are a good person, God will surely finish you off! Because you are not, you only think you are. If you think you love God enough, then you are definitely not someone who loves God. If you think you love God very much, then it is over! Because you are not someone who loves God at all.

Do you know what a truly God-loving person is like? He will feel that his love for God is not enough. Some people ask God, God! What else do you want me to do? Oh, that is terrible!
