Introduction
Good morning, everyone. I would like to share a topic titled My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. I have spoken on this topic in 2016 and 2018. As time has passed, I feel it is necessary to speak on it again. However, this time I will mainly talk about faithfulness, because being faithful to God is a formidable thing.
Everyone should gradually begin to understand that having one foot in the Kingdom of God and one foot in the world, wanting to benefit from both sides, is called spiritual adultery. It is also called spiritual opportunism, and it is also ignorance. In the end, such people will receive severe judgment. These people are like traitors.
If brothers and sisters want to be Christians, I suggest you be outstanding Christians who never compromise and never retreat! Never treat the Word of God as a joke! We must remember that being unfaithful to spiritual matters is a very serious problem! In fact, in any dynasty in Chinese history, unfaithfulness is not a well-regarded quality. This kind of unfaithful person tries to please everyone. When the Japanese devils came, they were traitors for the Japanese. When the American devils came, they were traitors for the Americans, all for the sake of surviving.
Today, we see that the results for traitors are very tragic. Traitors are called second-class citizens by the Japanese, a second-class subject. In the eyes of the Chinese, they are called rebellious subjects, traitors who surrender and betray. Emperor Qianlong wrote an article called On Second-Class Subjects, which mainly discussed some of the logical systems within second-class subjects. In fact, unfaithfulness is also remembered. To this day, Qin Hui still kneels before Yue Fei's tomb. Wang Jingwei, the great traitor to the Japanese devils, still bears a bad name and is spurned. In Chinese history, people like Zhuge Liang are respected entirely because of their faithfulness.
So today I say that my people are destroyed for lack of knowledge, but why do some people choose to be traitors? Why do people choose to betray the Kingdom of God? Why do people worship idols? Why do people forsake God like the Israelites did? It is not because they have not seen miracles. In Israel, there were once great prophets like Elijah and Elisha. Even though the Israelites saw and experienced them firsthand, there were still not many who truly believed.
The Kingdom of God values faithfulness very much. Today I remind everyone again that whether you are a Christian or a citizen of God's Kingdom, you must be outstanding! Do you know why Zhuge Liang is respected? It is entirely because he has backbone and faithfulness in his bones. A faithful person never lives in a perfunctory manner! It is not because they do not face life-threatening dangers, but because they never become rebellious subjects when facing life-threatening dangers! I tell you, be a Christian with backbone. God hates spiritual adultery the most!
A few days ago, I was ministering to a sister, and I encouraged her to be a person with backbone. Because this sister was very weak, she would retreat when faced with difficulties, even the smallest difficulties. In fact, it was just a small matter. One day, when I was ministering to her, I had her listen to Zhuge Liang debating the Confucian scholars in Eastern Wu. His words were powerful and resounding! Why? Because Zhuge Liang was a faithful person. He spoke of faithfulness, so those in Eastern Wu who advocated surrender were dwarfed by Zhuge Liang.
Don't underestimate those who are unfaithful. In fact, people like faithfulness in their bones, but they lack the backbone. Even corrupt officials admire those who are upright. Because there is a natural scale in people's hearts. Without backbone, faithfulness cannot stand. Why? Because when faced with challenges, difficulties, or life-threatening dangers, they choose to be rebellious subjects. So we must become people who have both knowledge and faithfulness. We must know what we are doing. If we do not know what we are doing, then we will not have a good cause, and it will be very troublesome to do things.
I had her listen to a few excerpts from Zhuge Liang Debates the Confucian Scholars. I had her repeat what I said, one sentence at a time. She clenched her fist and punched her chest, saying, I want to be a person with backbone! As a result, this sister softly said, I want to be a person with backbone. It didn't sound like she had backbone. Later, she practiced with me a few times, and finally it sounded like she had a little backbone. These days, she has been released. Her whole demeanor has changed, her eyes have changed, and the aura of her speech has begun to show.
So brothers and sisters, know that God values spiritual adultery and spiritual faithfulness very much. We must be faithful in small things, and God will entrust us with more to manage. If we are not faithful and lack backbone in small things, how can we be citizens of God's Kingdom? How can we be outstanding Christians? So brothers and sisters, do not be ignorant. Backbone and faithfulness are built on a foundation of understanding and full knowledge of God.
Speaking of this, I want to tell you a story of Ping Shu, called Zhuge Liang's Mouth Cannon Kills Wang Situ. This section talks about rebellious subjects.
It is said that Zhuge Liang launched an expedition to attack Cao's army (also known as the Cao rebels). In Zhuge Liang's eyes, Cao Cao was a Cao rebel, a usurping minister of the Han Dynasty, also called a thief. Then Cao's army sent several generals and a scholar named Wang Lang. As a result, the two armies first engaged in a war of words. Why? Because a war of words can bring a sense of justice and a good cause. As a result, Wang Situ, who was over seventy years old, rode his horse to the front of the battle and reined in his horse, facing Zhuge Kongming. Zhuge Kongming came up with a feather fan in his hand, sitting on a chair, with a blue silk canopy on top, looking very impressive! Wang Situ came to the front of the two armies.
Wang Situ: Are you Zhuge Kongming?
Zhuge Liang: That's right!
Wang Situ: I have long heard of your great name, and I am fortunate to meet you today! Since you know the Mandate of Heaven and recognize the signs of the times, why do you raise an army without a cause and invade our borders?
Zhuge Liang: I am ordered to punish the rebels. What is meant by an army without a cause? (Powerful words, implying that a usurping minister is a thief!)
Wang Situ: The Mandate of Heaven has changed, and the divine artifacts have been replaced, returning to those who have virtue. This is the natural order. (The implication is that Heaven is constantly changing, and the vessels used by God are also changing. Later, the country returns to those with virtue, which is a natural principle.)
Zhuge Liang: Cao's bandits usurped the Han and occupied the Central Plains. How can they be called virtuous people? Zhuge Liang positioned Cao Cao as a Cao bandit. (Wang Situ did not show any weakness in front of Zhuge Liang on his warhorse!)
Wang Situ: Since the time of Emperor Huan and Emperor Ling, the world has been in turmoil, and the country has been in danger, with the people in dire straits. My Grand Ancestor, Emperor Wu, swept away the six directions and conquered the eight wildernesses. The people were devoted to him, and the four quarters admired his virtue. This was not taken by force, but was truly the Mandate of Heaven! My Emperor Wen, with divine and sage-like martial prowess, inherited the great統, responded to Heaven and conformed to humanity, imitated Yao and Shun's abdication, and ruled China to govern all nations. Is this not the will of Heaven and the desire of the people?
Now you have great talent and great ambitions, comparing yourself to Guan Zhong and Yue Yi. Why do you insist on going against the heavenly principles and acting against human feelings? Have you not heard the ancients say: Those who obey Heaven will prosper, and those who defy Heaven will perish? Now our great Wei has millions of soldiers and thousands of generals. How can your flickering light of decaying grass compare to the bright moon in the sky? If you turn your spears and surrender with courtesy, you will still be granted the title of marquis, and the country will be peaceful and the people will be happy. Wouldn't that be wonderful?
Zhuge Liang: Hahaha... I thought that as an old minister of the Han Dynasty, you would come to the front of the battle and have high opinions in the face of the two armies, but I never expected you to say such crude words! I have something to say, please listen quietly. In the past, during the time of Emperor Huan and Emperor Ling, the Han Dynasty declined, the eunuchs caused trouble, the country was in chaos, and the four quarters were in turmoil. After the Yellow Turbans, Dong Zhuo, Li Jue, Guo Si, and others rose one after another, kidnapping the Han Emperor and cruelly killing the people.
As a result, in the court, corrupt officials held office, and in the palaces, beasts were fed with salaries. As a result, wolf-hearted and dog-acting people were rampant in the court, and slaves and concubines were in power. As a result, the country became ruins, and the people suffered from misery! At this time of national crisis, what did Wang Situ do? I know Wang Situ's life very well. You lived on the coast of the East China Sea and entered the officialdom as a filial and incorrupt person. You should have assisted the ruler and helped the country, revitalizing the Han and reviving the Liu family. How could you help the rebellious thieves and conspire to usurp the throne! Your sins are so deep that Heaven and Earth cannot tolerate them!
Wang Situ: You... you... Zhuge, you rustic fellow... how dare you...
Zhuge Liang: Shut up! Shameless old thief, do you not know that the people of the world all want to eat your flesh and how dare you babble here! Now, fortunately, Heaven has not abandoned the Yan Han, and Emperor Zhaolie has inherited the great統 in Xichuan. I am now ordered by the reigning monarch to raise an army to punish the bandits. Since you are a flattering minister, you can only hide and survive, seeking only food and clothing. How dare you falsely claim the Mandate of Heaven in front of my army! White-haired man, old thief with a gray beard! You are about to return to the Nine Springs. What face will you have to see the twenty-four emperors of the Han Dynasty at that time!
Wang Situ: I... I... (Wang Lang could not stand morally and felt that he had no reason. What he was talking about was following the times, in fact, it was just苟且偷生(苟且偷生: to prolong one's life in degradation). But Zhuge Liang stood at the height of moral loyalty and righteousness, and suddenly made Wang Situ breathless.)
Zhuge Liang: Rebellious subject, you have lived in vain for seventy-six years, and you have not accomplished anything in your life. You only know how to wag your tongue and help Cao to do evil! A dog with a broken spine dares to bark wildly in front of my army. I have never seen such a shameless person!
Wang Situ: I... I...
Zhuge Liang's mouth was very powerful. As a result, Wang Situ fell off his horse and died of anger! Can verbal attacks kill people? Actually not, it's just that it is a very hateful thing if people are not faithful.
Scripture
My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge; because you have rejected knowledge, I reject you from being a priest to me. And since you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children. (Hosea 4:6)
Prayer
God! Since you tell me that your people are destroyed for lack of knowledge, today we are your people, so may your Spirit inspire us, inspire us to be more thirsty for your words and more thirsty for your laws! God! Inspire us, let us no longer be ignorant people, let us know that your words are spiritual words, and your words are used to interpret spiritual things with spiritual words! God! Today we live in this world, we need to be faithful Christians! God, today in this world, please protect our hearts, may we all be faithful people before you!
God! In the days of Israel, the people of Israel committed spiritual adultery. Today, would you do wonderful work in us, guiding us to constantly pursue your words, guiding us to be people with backbone and faithfulness, and to be outstanding Christians! Let us continue to climb and pursue in your words, so that we can live out your glory in this world and become vessels that manifest your glory! In the name of Jesus Christ! Amen!
Scripture Background
Jeroboam was Solomon's subordinate. Solomon was the son of David. After David died, he passed the throne to Solomon, but Solomon sinned and did evil in the eyes of God. After Solomon died, he passed the throne to Rehoboam. Rehoboam was far inferior to his father Solomon. Solomon was very wise, but Rehoboam was blind. Jeroboam fled to Egypt when he was under Solomon. After Rehoboam succeeded to the throne, Jeroboam returned.
After Jeroboam came back, he wanted to cause trouble. As a result, God told Jeroboam: Because of the sins Solomon committed, I will take ten of the twelve tribes of Israel and give them to you. You will be the king of these ten tribes. In the end, Jeroboam really became king and managed ten tribes. Jeroboam managed ten tribes, and Rehoboam managed two tribes, like South Korea and North Korea, or like mainland China and Taiwan. The country was suddenly divided into two. At that time, Jeroboam faced a problem: the people had to go to Jerusalem to offer sacrifices and deliver offerings there, which was a very troublesome thing for Jeroboam.
At that time, the average Christian's offering could reach between 15 and 20 percent. If everyone in the ten tribes under Jeroboam's jurisdiction went to Jerusalem to offer sacrifices, it would cause great damage to the country's economy. Out of consideration for political economy, Jeroboam came up with the bad idea of building a golden calf on both the north and south sides and setting up an altar.
In name, it was considering the people, so they didn't have to travel so far. In fact, the people did not have so much knowledge and culture to understand Jehovah's law, and they only wanted to do what was convenient. So God sent a prophet to the altar to announce Jeroboam's sin. Jeroboam wanted to kill the prophet. As a result, when the prophet reached out to the altar, Jeroboam's hand immediately withered. Jeroboam was anxious and quickly asked the prophet to pray for him.
As soon as the prophet prayed, Jeroboam's withered hand was immediately healed, but the prophet's verdict did not teach Jeroboam a lesson. I tell you, if you value worldly things too much, you will be as ignorant as Jeroboam. Even after experiencing a miracle, you will not wake up and immediately tear down the golden calf. If he had done it according to God's will, God would have kept him firmly on the throne, but he did not have this knowledge. He only had the knowledge of political economy, so he offended God.
Brothers and sisters, you must know that worldly knowledge is different from the knowledge of the Kingdom of God. The knowledge of the Kingdom of God is called knowledge, and Paul calls worldly knowledge elementary school. Can elementary school solve problems? What's more, many problems are related to spiritual matters.
In order to meet political needs, Jeroboam continued to follow his path. He not only built a golden calf and set up an altar, but also selected some people to be priests, which angered God. God raised up a prophet named Hosea. If you read the Book of Hosea, you will find that God asked Hosea to marry a prostitute. Hosea not only married a wife but also had children. God also gave the children names.
My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge; because you have rejected knowledge, I also reject you from being a priest to me. And since you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children. (Hosea 4:6)
These words are too heavy, because Jeroboam did a very stupid thing, bringing destruction to Israel. The destruction process was very painful, like Hitler's killing of the Jews in World War II. Everyone must know that even if God's people choose you to be king, you will perish if you are ignorant. It is not that you are saved forever by being baptized in the name of Jesus, but if you are ignorant, you will also perish.
If you say you don't know how to read, then start learning to read; if you say you don't know, then start learning to know. Even if you don't know, you must have a good attitude! With a series of worldly logic systems, even if you know management knowledge and political economy knowledge, you are an ignorant person because you are ignorant of spiritual matters.
Chinese Mingding Destiny speaks of spiritual matters determining worldly matters, and the spiritual realm determining living matters. A sister called her family and talked about the epidemic in Singapore. Her family was so nervous and told her to be careful, telling her that the sequelae of COVID-19 were terrible. But these symptoms are only for carnal people. For spiritual people, as long as they win the battle in the spirit, they will deal with these problems. So we must know that ignorance of the spiritual realm will bring very serious problems. That is why I am pushing everyone to keep learning.
This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night. (Joshua 1:8)
He is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers. (Psalm 1:3)
Such a person must live a prosperous life. Today we must know that what Jeroboam did had a very far-reaching impact on later generations. The nation of Israel was divided into the Kingdom of Judah and the Kingdom of Israel. The Kingdom of Israel often walked in the ways of Jeroboam, falling into the worldly logic system. Few kings lived well, and their ends were very tragic. One was murdered, and the other was usurped. It was comparable to today's palace dramas.
The Israelites not only worshiped the golden calf, but also regarded it as the god who led them out of Egypt. In fact, they had seen the golden calf in the wilderness, and God had already been angry. They still did this, which was very ignorant! I am also very surprised that people cannot stop themselves from rushing to their deaths. This is called adultery. Therefore, the Book of Hosea begins by accusing the Israelites from the perspective of adultery.
During the Hungry Ghost Festival, in Singapore, you can see many people inserting a pile of candles under the roots of trees and burning incense everywhere. The Israelites did the same, ignorant! They didn't worship the greatest God, but worshiped that kind of thing. I am very surprised. My logic is very simple. If you want to worship a god, worship the greatest one who can solve problems. Don't worship a small one. For example, the mount of the Supreme Lord Lao, although it has some ability, if you want to worship it, you might as well worship the Supreme Lord Lao directly, who has greater ability.
Jeroboam's path is a worldly path, which in God's eyes is a rebellious subject, called spiritual adultery. Brothers and sisters, do not mix the worldly value system into the Word of God. The Word of God is explained with spiritual words. The Word of God and worldly things cannot be mixed together. If mixed together, it is an adulterous system.
Jeroboam’s Dilemma
Jeroboam was preoccupied with political economy, the security of the regime, and financial woes. Thus, he established the golden calves, organized some to collect offerings, solved employment for some, and ordained many priests. Yet, they overlooked one crucial matter: in the eyes of God, this was enmity against Him, a sin of adultery.
Jeroboam’s dilemma lies in the inherent contradiction between obeying God's word and satisfying the people's will, ensuring the regime's stability, and addressing economic considerations. Often, the choices we face are conflicting. We frequently encounter Jeroboam's dilemma. Even if your position isn't as lofty as Jeroboam’s, perhaps just a minor manager, you'll still face such predicaments. The outcome depends on your knowledge and logic.
If your knowledge remains at Jeroboam's low level, you will make Jeroboam's choices, and the result? God's people perish for lack of knowledge. Today, I remind you again, how to make choices when facing dilemmas. No matter how great your predicament, know that God reigns in the kingdoms of men. If our God does not permit it, not a single hair will fall, and nothing can harm us. The key is to wholeheartedly love God. When faced with dilemmas, first ponder: what will we live by? Will we be people of integrity? Will we be those who eke out a living? Will we be traitors? Or second-rate villains?
If living is not the issue, then death is nothing to fear. If you despise this matter? Would you be a traitor? A second-rate villain in God's eyes? No. Work, life, that’s all there is to it. Can’t God manage that? It’s because people still harbor Jeroboam's ignorance, so God's people will perish because of this ignorance. Why? Because people weigh and measure things over and over, still thinking living is most important, and that's where the trouble begins!
Our church promotes the idea of destiny in the Kingdom of God. But some say, how will we live? And many agree. There are countless examples, some positive, some negative. I believe many will face Jeroboam's dilemma. For instance, a brother’s mother had cancer. After the fourth round of chemotherapy, she was swollen all over, couldn’t eat. More chemo would kill her, and not doing it was just as unbearable. When they came to me, they begged me not to tell her son. After I ministered to her, the swelling disappeared. She could eat and even cook for her husband.
How did she get cancer? She attended a local church for two years and then found out she had cancer. I told her to follow me and truly believe, to be a resounding Christian, starting with offering. But when I mentioned offering, she was unhappy. Money was more important than life. She willingly gave ten or eighty thousand to the doctor, but donating a tenth of her salary, just two hundred dollars, was too much. So she left us and went back to the local church.
She suffered greatly in those two years after leaving, struggling to breathe sitting up and unable to sleep lying down. So painful! She couldn’t even attend her son's wedding. She’d rather suffer than donate that small amount of money. People’s ignorance is deadly. This time, I ministered to her, and she quickly recovered, able to attend her son's wedding. Later, she said to me: How can my son make a living following you! Hearing that, my heart sank.
Why do people live? Some live just to live. But those among us with destiny do not live just to live, much less to eke out a miserable existence. Instead, we choose to be faithful people of integrity before God. When we start facing these challenges, may we make wise choices. When facing Jeroboam's dilemma, remember that our throne, our jobs, are all in God's hands, because God made Jeroboam king.
We often face dilemmas, entirely depending on our inner knowledge. If you are ignorant, often choosing according to an ignorant logic system, you will fall into a curse, rooted in your core interests for survival. If your core interest is God, there will be no problems.
One of our sisters had her company’s annual meeting. The boss wanted everyone to attend, but she said she couldn't. The boss asked why, and she said she had classes to attend. The boss was furious. The following year, another annual meeting, and again she couldn't go. The boss was very angry. But when it came to salary increases, it didn't affect her at all. Did the boss resent her? Yes, but when it was time for raises, he forgot about it. God made him forget. Many good things came to this sister because God reigns.
This sister came to church to serve immediately after work, taking a bus for one and a half hours each way, serving one after another, returning home late at night. It grieved my heart to see. Yet, nothing affected this sister. She thrived more and more. Few of her classmates thrived as much, because God wanted her to thrive. So, brothers and sisters, know that making choices is crucial.
I recently received a testimony from a young person I and their pastor ministered to for many years. Recently, this young person’s boss said there would be training at 9 PM on Wednesdays. She told her boss: I have class at 9 PM. The boss asked: What class? Our sister said: Bible study. To her surprise, her boss said: That’s okay, we'll change it to Thursday. The sister said: That doesn’t work either, I have prayer class on Thursday. Guess what? The boss said: Okay, how about 8 PM? Everyone voted for 8 PM. Problem solved.
Can’t God manage it? Of course, He can. Did the boss resent her? No, because she had the courage, so God helped her. At work, the boss valued her, nurturing and tapping into her potential. The boss thought she was a promising person. Just a little courage, choosing to trust God at the crucial moment, and God backs her up.
Removing the Lies of Ignorance
Recently, our spiritual warfare has been striking at the powers of darkness in the air. We have 72-hour prayer meetings, led in shifts. This prayer shakes the dark powers in the air. Someone found me online. He had been attending a local church, but it couldn't nourish him with spiritual knowledge. He saw bizarre things in the church, what we would call being under a curse. He listened to many of our sermons online and contacted us. Our pastor received him and learned about the pastoral care in his previous church. It turned out he had neither nurture nor a pastor. Since our church is a nurturing church, we found that surprising.
Our pastor asked him: What did you learn each time you attended church? He couldn't remember anything. But their church had a saying, from the pastor down to the brothers and sisters: You are saved. Saved from what? They were saved without knowing anything? Many, while worshiping Jeroboam's golden calves, treated the calves as the Lord Jehovah, thinking they were saved.
Brothers and sisters, know for certain that if the gospel we believe is not the gospel preached by the Apostle Paul, it is accursed. So, brothers and sisters, study the Bible diligently. It is written clearly in black and white. If we mix worldly logic into believing in the Lord, that is spiritual adultery. It is a state of utter ignorance. We are filled with worldly logic, and then we say: I am saved. Saved from what? Today, many churches release ignorant words, intentionally or unintentionally.
But today, we must know for sure what the church is. Not just a group of people rushing in on Sundays to hear a sermon. Our definition of the church aligns with the Bible.
And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it. I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. (Matthew 16:18-19)
If you measure the current church by this standard, it seems they are not doing these things. They seem to lack the keys to the kingdom of heaven. Nothing is bound in heaven, nothing is loosed on earth. All you see is groups of people being bound. What will happen as such priests increase?
The more priests increased, the more they sinned against me; I will change their glory into shame. They feed on the sins of my people and relish their wickedness. And it will be: Like people, like priests. I will punish both of them for their ways and repay them for their deeds. (Hosea 4:7-9)
Why is this? Because many things come from ignorance. Regarding the definition of the church, Jesus spoke clearly: He will build the church on the rock, on the truth of Jesus Christ. You will find that God will give you the keys to the kingdom of heaven. The church has the authority to bind the devil and the enemy, to trample on the powers of hell, and to release the oppressed and the captives. Healing and deliverance is not about whether you have the gift. Healing and deliverance is the most basic work of the church.
Why has the church lost its power? Because it is not built on the rock and the truth of Jesus Christ. Study the Bible diligently. Is the God we believe in Jeroboam's golden calf or the Lord of Hosts sitting on His throne? I encourage everyone to be a resounding Christian, resolving why you live, what your vision is, and what your mission is. What are we here to do? If we are here just to survive, we are second-rate villains, compromising when faced with challenges.
I will read you the vision and mission of our Chinese Mingding Destiny:
Our vision is to build a holy, unified, glorious, and biblically sound elite church. We are not particularly fond of those who are not elite, but we will still serve you if you come.
Our mission is to rely on the Holy Spirit to pray and fight, open channels for evangelism, release captive souls, transform lives, expand God's church, strengthen the foundation of the church, and become a blessing to all nations.
This is our destiny, this is our mission. We live for it, we die for it, and we have the integrity to stand for it. God will surely open the windows of heaven and pour out His blessings on us. Today, if you are not here for destiny but for what you want to gain, then so be it. We want those with destiny, those faithful to God.
Know That God's Word Is Precious
We have over a hundred testimonies a week. Many are testimonies of healing. Why Because we have treasure inside. God's word is alive in us. We build the church and the body of Jesus Christ according to God's word. If you diligently obey and follow God's word, building a victorious and glorious church, you have gained treasure today. Do not let this treasure pass you by. God's word is precious. The mighty God will do wonderful works among us.
Jeroboam ended his life miserably. He could have been a king who pleased God, but he chose the path of national ruin and familial destruction because of ignorance. Know that ignorance of God's word is never a good choice. Store God's word in your heart in any case. God's word reveals many spiritual principles. God's word tells us the spiritual truths we need. If we put in a little effort to ponder it, it will be extraordinary. God's word is precious.
When leading English Bible study, there is a verse in Genesis 4 that says: If anyone kills Cain, he will suffer vengeance seven times over. Over the years, whether I was explaining it or listening to others explain it, something felt off. Many feel that God shouldn't say such a thing. They don't know this is a spiritual law.
This time, as I was leading the Bible study, I suddenly saw a light. God wants to tell us not to touch those as despicable as Cain. If you say you want to kill such a person, in the spiritual realm, seven more evil spirits will jump on you, and you will suffer vengeance seven times over like the one who wants to kill Cain. This actually has a universal principle. For example, some sisters dislike their mothers, but as they get older, they become more and more like their mothers, even more so, and the bad habits of their mothers are fully manifested in them.
Today, let's not solve problems with judgment and violence because this will bring vengeance seven times over. If we know this spiritual truth, will we still do it? No, we won't. There are many spiritual principles in the Bible. For example, setting your mind on the flesh is death, but setting your mind on the Spirit is life and peace. We organize these key spiritual truths into the Chinese Mingding Destiny system.
This way, you will have a framework to sort out God's word and turn it into a clear logical system. If this is a treasure, do we need to meditate on it day and night? Yes! Do we need to implement it well? Yes! Do we need to know that recognizing God's word is endless? Yes! Knowing God's word is endless. What we know is far from enough. Don't be ignorant.
We must recognize God's word with a continuously advancing, improving, and exploring attitude. There are many Bible studies and sermons among us, but do you really have the passion to recognize that God's word is a treasure? Don't be ignorant. Some people, the first thing they talk about when they call me is their work. I'm not saying I don't care about your work. If you don't solve the spiritual problem, you can't solve your work problem.
Spiritual problems relate to blessings and curses. If a person has no blessing, even if you understand your work thoroughly, like Jeroboam and political economy, you still live under a curse. God's people perish for lack of knowledge. Jeroboam was not ignorant of other things, but of God's word, especially choosing to be a second-rate villain in God's eyes.
Many among us have believed for a long time and are too used to our Chinese Mingding Destiny. It seems there’s nothing new. I see those who have just come among us, see that this is solved and that is solved, and feel that finding Chinese Mingding Destiny is like finding a treasure. Today, I encourage the brothers and sisters who have been among us for a long time to rekindle our passion and pursue God's word again. Know that there is still a lot we don't know.
Don't mix the worldly things inside us with God's word. Mixing them is adultery and disloyalty. Don't bring worldly things into God's word. It is inappropriate to use worldly things to explain God's word.
Conclusion
God does not want us to be hybrids. Hybridizing is adultery. God does not like cloth woven from two mixed materials. Know that in any situation, you must choose loyalty to God and put God first in any choice you face.
When we face choices, whether we choose to have integrity, no matter what risks and challenges we face, we must still choose to be loyal to God, and you will become a knowledgeable person. You must know that only knowledgeable people can be faithful. Ignorant people can't be faithful. They don't even know what God wants, so how can they be faithful? Always remember one thing: God's people perish for lack of knowledge!
