Introduction

Today, we will discuss an important topic, one of my favourites: Part 2 of Opening the Windows of Heavenly Blessings, titled Sacrifices That Please God. I particularly enjoy discussing topics of blessing, as blessings are crucial for us. We greatly need them. Years ago, when I met Sister Ru Ying, she was very poor and had to borrow money to make ends meet. When I encounter such sisters, I never say, If God doesn't heal you, will you still believe in Him? Instead, I always say, God will definitely heal you, God will definitely care for you, God will definitely protect you. No matter how difficult it is, God will surely lead you into prosperity. God has a purpose of prosperity for each of us. Prosperity is a good thing!

The question is, can you really open the windows of heavenly blessings? In my journey as a Christian, I have seen many who are blessed, and many who are cursed. Our God bestows both blessings and curses. The question is what kind of person you choose to be. I grew up in a very poor family, but I had a dream inside me. I yearned to be wealthy and to be a blessing to many, especially after believing in the Lord. Therefore, I teach every brother and sister who believes in the Lord with me the lesson of giving. It is not that the church or God needs your money. Only those who give are blessed.

Our church trains people to give, for only giving leads to blessing. Can brothers and sisters begin to consider this lesson? I see that Sister Ru Ying is not particularly clever, but she has a heart for blessing, which is the heart of giving. The church must understand what blessing is all about. These talks on opening the windows of heavenly blessings are all based on the Book of Malachi.

Scripture

A son honours his father, and a servant his master. If I am a father, where is my honour? And if I am a master, where is my fear?' says the Lord Almighty. 'It is you, priests, who show contempt for my name. But you ask, 'How have we shown contempt for your name?' (Malachi 1:6, NIV)

Prayer

God, we ask that you personally open our spiritual eyes. Our brothers and sisters long for you to open the windows of heavenly blessings and pour out blessings upon us. May the blessings you bestow continually encourage our brothers and sisters. You are the Master, the Lord of the universe. All things come from you. Let us hallow your name, fear your name, and be blessed in our days on earth. In Jesus' name, Amen!

Sacrifice is the Key Factor in Opening the Windows of Heavenly Blessings

The Book of Malachi provides a firsthand account of the Israelites not being blessed. The revelation from God regarding their lack of blessing was that they had priests who despised God. Priests determine whether a place is blessed or not. We must understand how important sacrifice is. The first way the priests despised God was in their sacrifices. The second was not keeping God's law in their hearts. The third was being unfaithful, and the fourth was distorting God's image. We will not discuss the other three points, but only the matter of sacrifice. If your sacrifice does not bring blessing, it is because your sacrifice is like despising God's name by offering the blind and the lame. You also do not care about the sacrifices of others, resulting in the opening of the windows of heavenly cursing. This is why the Israelites lived miserably.

If you want to be a blessing to others, you must do well in your giving. When I first believed in the Lord, I knew the power of our Jesus Christ. I knew God was precious, but I still struggled. The old man who taught me was an elder, and he is still alive today. When he taught me, I knew he was wealthy. He ran a gas station and making money was very easy for him. He earnestly spoke to me about giving.

Today, when I encounter poor sisters, I always talk about giving. Sacrifice is the key factor in opening the windows of heavenly blessings. Do you regard God as God, as your Lord? All things come from the Lord. Giving the best to God is the most worthwhile thing, but people really struggle. After completing the course, on my way home, I calculated how little I would have left after giving. I did the math: even if I kept the tithe in my hand, I would not become wealthy. But if I gave, as the old man told me, and was blessed, the result would be extraordinary. Those who were baptised with me when I believed in the Lord, when we discuss tithing below, I believe that ten dollars will be more than nine dollars. We must look at the issue with a developmental perspective, not with a foolish one.

Giving Must Have A Global Perspective

Only by looking at issues with a developmental perspective can we discover the issues. I like discovering the essence of things and pondering. What is the essence of blessing? It is God. Without God, what is the point of our sacrifices? I have lived in a spiritual environment since I was young because I saw that fortune tellers were very accurate. What is the principle behind this? It turns out that the spiritual realm is real. There are both God and demons. So, what is blessing about? Blessing comes from the spiritual world. God is the key to us living well. You are too dizzy to what your eyes show. If you link a person's well-being to their efforts, that is the path to being cursed, because the spiritual realm is real. Giving gifts to God is a great honour to God.

I thank God that He did not ask for nine-tenths, because taking out one-tenth is painful enough, but it will not affect our lives. In those years when I ministered to Sister Ru Ying, the first thing I told her was about giving. If I did not let her give, she would remain poor forever. There are also some brothers and sisters who, when they come among us, I will let them give. Giving is the beginning of blessing.

The day before yesterday, a sister came over and had a terminal illness. It was because of giving that she came to church. Her sister is among us. We led her to believe in the Lord. God really showed grace. Her salary increased from one thousand to more than two thousand. One thousand was for washing dishes, and two thousand was for being a kindergarten teacher. I asked the sister to give, and she said, Isn't it just giving? Here you go. As a result, she lost her job and contracted a terminal illness. When she came a few days ago, she complicated the matter of living again. Can we simplify the matter of living? Many things in this world are probability events. Many people work hard but do not make money. The harder they work, the more money they lose. Some people work hard and do not get terminal illnesses. It makes us very dizzy. Today, I will explain things simply for you. I am not telling you jokes or grand principles. I am telling you my personal experiences.

We Chinese put the God radical next to the word blessing. God is pleased with us when we do according to His word, and the issue of blessing is resolved. Module 101 straightens out very complex matters. The first lesson is that the spiritual realm is real, God has prepared grace, we receive grace by faith, the lessons on blessings, curses, and evil spirits, spiritual warfare, building a powerful church of God, and committing to receiving blessings. We must know that simplifying things is key. Do not complicate things.

Do not jump to very specific details and get entangled. Have a very macro observation. I will talk about the global perspective later. To be a person, be a smart person. To be a priest, be a smart priest. Despising God is being cursed. If you give God the incomplete, it is better not to sacrifice. Being a Christian cannot be like this. If you are going to be a Christian, be a remarkable Christian. Pastors must also be remarkable. Being a Christian means grasping the nature of God.

The matter of sacrifice is important. When I became a Christian, the first thing I did was to understand giving clearly. After finishing the course, I struggled on the way home. I decided to give. I not only gave on my pre-tax income, but I also gave on all my provident fund. Absolutely never less. Doing this is very worthwhile. Everything I do prospers. When I buy real estate, the prices go up. God truly opens the windows of heavenly blessings.

We are priests, Christians are all priests. If you are a priest and are unwilling to talk to others about giving, and they are too poor to give, you are in trouble. Is it fun to be a poor pastor? I meet many poor pastors who say, I am so poor that all I have left is spiritual. What is this? It is because they dare not ask the brothers and sisters in their church to give, and they encourage the sisters among them to give as they please. But I boldly demand that not a penny less be given to God. You will see that those who are pastors are poor pastors, and the churches are poor churches.

The Attitude of Sacrifice Must Be Rigorous

Poverty is a curse. When I meet poor people, the first thing I ask them to do is to give, including setting aside time to serve, and God will do amazing things in your life. The attitude of sacrifice is important. Cain and Abel offered sacrifices, but Cain's was not accepted, and Abel's was accepted by God. Many people misinterpret the Bible, saying that Cain offered grain and Abel offered livestock. It is not because of what was offered in the sacrifice, but the attitude of the sacrifice. Do not have the bad habit of being casual, but have a rigorous attitude.

Some people say to me, Pastor, I will help you build the church. I don't need people to help. This mindset is wrong. The important thing about coming to church is that God helps you and me, not that we come to help God do something. If the attitude is wrong, it will be very troublesome. A few days ago, I taught a sister who pastors a university professor, saying, She believes in the Lord with us, and our ministry will definitely be good. Do we need him? Our mindset must be right, that God does not need us, but we need God, and we need a victorious church. If we always feel that we come to church to help the church, you are really mistaken, because you were not there when God created the universe. God can do it without us. We must have a mindset that we need God's blessing, and we need to build a victorious church together to be a vessel of blessing.

So today, brothers and sisters, whether ordinary Christians or church leaders and pastors, we must get our attitude right. Some people ask, How do you spend our money after the offering? Thinking that this is still their money, this belongs to God and has nothing to do with you. Everything in your hands belongs to God. When we are eager to help God, it is a great shame to God. That is to say, when we offer sacrifices, we must know that God controls the universe. In the early days, many people came to the church to help, but later, I drove those helpers away.

There is a person in the Bible who saw the Ark of the Covenant almost fell into a pit, so he went to help and was killed. Many of us don't understand that God doesn't need help. If you are here to help God, you are likely to be killed. Today, as priests, we must know that God does not need help. As priests, we bring problems to God and bring God's blessings. We must have a clear understanding of God. Do you think our God can be dealt with so casually? Our mindset must be right. The reason why Cain was not pleasing to God was his attitude towards offering sacrifices, which was very bad. Oh my, we must know that we are the ones who open the windows of blessings in the sky, allowing God's blessings to be poured down. The most important attitude is rigorous.

You say, 'What a burden!' and you sniff at it,” says the Lord Almighty. “When you bring injured, lame or diseased animals and offer them as sacrifices, should I accept them from your hands?” says the Lord. “Cursed is the cheat who has an acceptable male in his flock and vows to give it, but then sacrifices a blemished animal to the Lord. For I am a great king,” says the Lord Almighty, “and my name is to be feared among the nations. (Malachi 1:13-14)

We have a Temple of Heaven in China, where the emperor worshiped heaven. During the ceremony of worshiping heaven, a very rigorous and grand ceremony was used. If we are not rigorous and offer sacrifices casually with the wrong attitude, you will open a window of curse from heaven. Whether you are a priest or an ordinary Christian, the most important thing in life is to open the window of blessing in the sky. How can people live without blessing? We are alive, and we can't explain what will happen tomorrow, but with God, we can live very simply.

So how important is the attitude of offering sacrifices? From now on, get the offering right. I don't understand why the priests of Israel did this. They offered sacrifices that did not please God and aroused God's anger. It's really better not to do it. I have a very simple saying in my heart: If you are a Christian, be a resounding Christian. Don't be confused. It doesn't matter if you don't have the talent or the degree, but if we have a heart to love God and a heart to fear God, we can really turn everything around, and you can open the window of blessing in the sky.

Today, Sister Ru Ying's testimony gave me great encouragement. I am always in my presence of God: God, have mercy on our sister, open the window of blessing in the sky, and pour blessings on her. Today, our brothers and sisters should learn from our Sister Ru Ying. She doesn't have the talent and background to compare with her parents, but she compares with being blessed. She used to borrow money to make a living. I don't know why she still took out a tenth of her income to offer sacrifices. No wonder she is now a person with savings and family property. She can't do it according to her background, but she can according to her blessings. She really understands these things. How can someone who borrows money still give offerings? At that time, I offered the money I earned. I think she is better than me, and she will be more blessed than me.

Sowing seeds of blessing in the kingdom of God

Can brothers and sisters figure it out? The farmer has to sow seeds in the field. She borrowed seeds and sowed them in the kingdom of God. She will have thirty, sixty, or a hundred times the return. You should have sown seeds, but you ate them as bread. You will be poor to death. Some brothers and sisters have been living in poverty. Later, I knew the reason, which is not giving offerings. How does he live in a month? At least 1,000 Singapore dollars in Singapore, and 2,000 RMB in China. Where did that money go? If I were you, no matter what, I would take out one-tenth of my living expenses to make offerings. What is this called? This is called sowing seeds of blessing. It is not that the church is so poor that it needs your money, but that you need to be blessed.

Those who withhold tithes and give the worst to God will not be blessed. In this life, if you can't see through the essence of money, the essence of living, and many things about living, we need God. How are you going to live this life? If the concept is not clear, nothing can be done well. Today, we will make it clear that money cannot give us the future. You are in debt because you don't have a sacrificial mindset in your heart. Offering sacrifices is like sowing seeds. You should thank yourself for sowing seeds in the kingdom of God and offering the best sacrifices to God. I tell you, you will never suffer losses.

Whenever I talk about offerings, I really want to make an exception for you. In the past, when I asked people to make offerings, I asked them to try it. Today, I tell you that you must make offerings, which is really important. If you want to take it back in the future, don't make offerings, because your attitude is not right. If you are going to take it back tomorrow, don't make offerings. The concept is not clear, and you don't know what people are living for. The essence of living is to win in the spiritual realm.

Offer the best to God

Today, if you want to be a blessing to all nations, you must start offering sacrifices. A brother saw me using an Apple computer and said, How can you use an Apple computer? Is there a problem with me using an Apple computer? I am a priest of Jehovah. Can I only use a broken computer? Some people bring things they don't want at home to the church. I tell you the church doesn't want it. You can give it to whoever you want. The church is not a place to collect junk. The church is a place to collect superior offerings, giving the firstborn and the firstfruits to God.

We must never be wrong. Our church is a rich church. Brothers and sisters, listen carefully. In the future, we will definitely be a blessing to many people. If you are a poor person, if you don't have the ability, it doesn't matter. You are more capable than her. She is worse than you in terms of status and family background. Don't have this cumbersome mentality anymore. If you think it's cumbersome, don't make offerings. As for me, I must open the window of blessings in the sky and honor our God, because He is the Lord of all things, and all things in the universe come from Him. What we have today also comes from Him. Our whole life is to trust God.

When I led the prayer yesterday, I cried again. How can we live without God? Yesterday, I told our brothers and sisters that we must learn to keep and follow God's word. We must not be wrong. Our God is the God of all things in the universe. If you offer sacrifices to the governor of the province, will he be pleased with you? If you give it to the local official, will he look at your feelings? What about God? Our wrong concepts do not honor God, but honor those officials. We must honor God with a rich mindset, and you will distribute blessings.

Put your hand on your chest and don't withhold God's offerings. Many sisters told me that they want to make two-tenths of their offerings. You will reap as much as you sow. In the future, you will see more brothers and sisters will be blessed. Examine yourself before God. The financial situation you encounter can definitely be reversed. Today, if you value people more than God, you will be cursed; if we value money more than God, you will be cursed. You must straighten things out. Let our hearts turn back to God and give the most precious things to God. The poverty in your finances is the result of the poor thoughts in your heart and the withholding of God's offerings in your offerings. Let us re-recognize God and be a person who makes offerings.

In the name of Jesus, I open my heart and invite Jesus Christ to come in, be my Lord, and control my life. I want to dedicate my life to you; in the past, I didn't give you the best, although I had tithes, I had the wrong attitude, I want to completely repent and be a priest who honors your name.

In the name of Jesus, I declare that my Lord will surely open the window of blessings in the sky, and God will surely pour blessings on me. I am the one who reaps the blessings. Lord Jesus accepts my offerings, has mercy on me, and breaks the curse of poverty on me, Amen!
