Introduction

In life, a myriad of events unfold, prompting us to ponder: Why do these things befall us? The Chinese often invoke Heaven. When calamity strikes, we are frequently ignorant of its source, lamenting the difficulty of living a normal life. In truth, those who diligently observe and follow God's word shall be blessed, while those who fail to do so shall be cursed. All disasters serve to prove one thing: if we are not in Jesus Christ, all problems stem from a failure to diligently observe and follow God's word.

Idolatry has brought profound calamities to the Chinese people. Many, after a few critical words from their bosses, seek deliverance. After prayer, the demons within them begin to scream, and they feel relief before returning to work. Yet, upon facing further challenges at work, they seek further deliverance. When will such deliverance end? I have keenly sought the root cause. Later, I understood that the key lies in diligently observing and following God's word.

If one diligently observes and follows God's word, they have less need for constant deliverance. When one fails to diligently observe and follow God's word, even if the demons are cast out, they will return. Diligently observing and following God's word is the crux of the matter. Without such diligence, one lives under a curse, allowing the devil to legitimately wreak havoc in our lives.

This generation is replete with dazzling gospels, such as the gospel of poverty, and various denominations like Evangelicals, Charismatics, and proponents of Prosperity Theology. However, today I will only share one point: diligently observing and following God's word, or failing to do so.

Scripture

>Jesus replied, “Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them. Anyone who does not love me will not obey my teaching. These words you hear are not my own; they belong to the Father who sent me. (John 14:23-24)

>As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love. If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in his love. (John 15:9-10)

Prayer

Lord Jesus, grant us the resolve to keep your word. Let us examine ourselves as to why we have not diligently followed your word. May you do a wondrous work in us today, enabling us to know your way, to learn to love you, and to love you with all our heart, soul, and mind, growing in you. Grant that we may revere your glorious and awesome name, shaping us ever more into your likeness. Amen!

The God of the New Testament is the Same God of the Old Testament

We often grapple with the question: Is it still necessary to diligently observe and follow God's word in the New Testament? Has the God of the New Testament replaced the God of the Old Testament? Our God is eternally the same. The God who destroyed Sodom in the Old Testament is the same God who would destroy such cities today. Our God has never changed, the God of the New Testament and the Old Testament is our God.

Many segregate the Old Testament and the New Testament, assuming that the God of the Old Testament is a cruel God, while the God of the New Testament is Santa Claus. Our God has never changed, and the rules of blessing and curse have never changed. Blessings come from God, and curses come from God. If you carefully read the Bible, you will know that failing to diligently observe and follow God's word results in a curse, and you are powerless to reverse the devil's destruction of your life. Jesus Christ has bestowed authority, but that does not mean that one does not need to diligently observe and follow God's word! The best deliverance is diligently observing and following the word of God!

In the past, a sister took a taxi to find my co-worker and I in the middle of the night, and several people could not hold on to her, and she made loud noises in her mouth. Some people asked if I release people too? How many people are needed to hold down during your release? I thought later that people who carefully abide to God's words, do not need this kind of release. Why? Healing release is actually the process of driving out demons. Many people who followed Jesus then did not come for healing release, these people were more for seeking destiny, and people who carefully abide by God's words will definitely seek destiny and the meaning of life.

Is it necessary to follow God's word? Of course it is! God said in the New Testament, He who loves me will keep my way; he who does not love me will not keep my way. If you keep God's commands, you will always be in God's love. What God has prepared for those who love Him is what eyes have not seen, ears have not heard, and hearts have not imagined. These are all words from the Bible, and I must diligently follow the words of my God. My God's words are all the same.

The Requirements of the New Testament are Higher than the Old Testament

Another confusion is that the requirements of the New Testament seem looser and the requirements of the Old Testament seem higher? Everyone should know that the requirements of the Old Testament are very low, only offering cattle and sheep; and the requirements of the New Testament are to offer yourself, which is a very high requirement! Now it is no longer I who live, but Jesus Christ who lives in me. The Old Testament required observance of the Sabbath, while the New Testament is seven times twenty-four. The requirements of the New Testament are far higher than those of the Old Testament, and every Christian is a priest, imitating our High Priest Jesus Christ. What is a Christian, is someone who imitates Jesus Christ is called a Christian. In the Old Testament, where was it said, You must leave your wife, children, house and land to follow Jesus? A Christian is a disciple of God, not just a believer. The requirements of the New Testament are very high!

Can such high demands be met? Jesus Christ also had weaknesses, also felt pain, also bled, and also shed tears, but He has overcome. Today, God allows us to be like Jesus and overcome, and fight to win. The Old Testament is based on human behavior and rules, while the New Testament is based on human thoughts and intentions. If people love God with all their heart, mind and soul, and diligently follow God's word, they do not need to be released often.

Can we dwell on these problems that plague us? Don't ride the wall, one leg in the world, one leg in God, all day long need to be released. Release is uncomfortable! If a person's mind is not like a ghost or like God, then the ghost must be driven out.

Not everyone who is called a Christian is someone who diligently observes and follows God's word. People who diligently observe and follow God's word will not be afflicted by mental illness, depression, or epilepsy. Those who diligently observe will be blessed, and those who do not diligently observe will be cursed. Some people say that some people have not yet been cursed. Because the curse has not grown out, it takes time.

God's way is a coherent system. Some people say, How can words of blessing and curse come out of one mouth? Why not? God is a God who both blesses and curses. Some people think that a word I say is important, but it is not important. Whether I say it or not, the curse is there.

Those who diligently observe will be blessed. Some people always argue with me, and I admit that what I say may have problems and may not be all right. But you have to listen to God's word, right? Not necessarily! So-and-so great pastor also got cancer, so cancer is not necessarily a curse. Even if famous preachers, or what I say, cannot replace God's word. We believe what the Bible says! Some famous preachers get cancer or hemorrhoids, do cancer and hemorrhoids become good things? Go back to the word of God in the Bible to find the answer.

All who came to Jesus were healed. One or two preachers got sick, and God's word cannot be denied. We are all people who read the Bible, so read it carefully. It is most important not to quibble over words and form a system of belief, and in this way you cannot but be blessed. Don't be deceived!

I am not the standard either, God's word is the standard. After reading God's word, have a sense of reverence and do God's work tremblingly. Some people say again, I am not Jesus, nor the Apostle Paul, how can I do God's word? People are weak. This is not a reason for not diligently observing and following God's word.

God's Word Is Not Too Difficult

God's word is in your heart and in your mouth. It depends on the concepts within you. If you believe that living means working, or living means providing for your mother, then there are many things in your heart that do not align with the Bible. When things happen to us, we should thank God because it shows us that we are still distant from God's will and must strive to pursue it.

I once ministered to a young man who continued to play video games even after breaking his finger. I asked him why, and he said it was because he enjoyed it. Some people can play mahjong for several nights without getting tired because they enjoy it. I get tired easily playing video games or mahjong because I don't enjoy it and don't find it interesting. Some people ask me what my hobbies are, and I say I don't have any, like plain water. Later, I discovered that ministry is my hobby, and I don't get tired when I get addicted to working.

Why do some people feel tired while others don't? It's the relationship between love and not loving. If you love God, you won't feel tired. I always think that loving God is a better way to live. If you ask me to play golf, I don't find it very interesting. I just like to love God, I have no other hobbies.

This immediately separates those who love God from those who don't. What if some people are not naturally inclined to love God? I don't know what to do. If you love God, God's word is in our hearts and in our mouths. If you enjoy serving today, it means you love God; if you feel tired while serving, it means you don't love God.

Is serving tiring? Sometimes it is really tiring, my back aches, but I am willing! God knows if you love Him in your heart, and He will give you things that no ear has heard, no eye has seen, and no human mind has conceived. Then every day of your life will be wonderful.

We need to come out of worldly concepts. So many testimonies and stories inspire us. Today, if we choose to love God, we have hope, and our momentary light affliction will produce for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison. Anything that doesn't align with God's word, no matter how reasonable it seems, must be discarded. The Bible says not to let the sun go down on your anger, and if you cannot distinguish between good and evil, then throw away everything that makes us uncomfortable. When you see through things, you will love God; if you don't see through them, you will love the world, and loving the world will pierce you with worldly things.

Hypocrisy, feeling uncomfortable inside but pretending to be pious, doesn't that invite demons? Can we be realistic and willing to change? It's not that God blesses you when you are perfect, but that God is willing to help you when you are willing to repent.

I have ministered to many pastors and found that many of them have serious illnesses because there are many strange thoughts in their minds: I serve God so diligently, how can I not get sick? As a result, they really get sick. Can we adjust the thoughts in our minds and believe that what God gives you is something that no eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no human mind has conceived?

Don't Be Deceived

What goes around comes around. What doesn't require paying a price? Nothing is done half-heartedly. Everything must be done seriously. The devil likes us to play fake in our hearts, believing that we can live well without carefully obeying. Today, we must be serious, determined to carefully obey God's word, and we will surely be blessed.

People don't do what they think is wrong; everyone thinks what they are doing is right. However, you must know that your standard of right and wrong is really unreliable. Follow God's standard, for He created us and knows how we can live out God's glorious image.

Today, we must pay the price to live out God's word. Carefully obeying God's word is not being under the law, but forming a system of faith and living according to God. It's not that God blesses you only when you fully live out God's word, but that when you want to live out God's word, God helps and blesses you.

The key to the best healing and deliverance is carefully obeying God's word. I recently wrote a book called Do Healing and Deliverance Like Jesus. My next book will be Carefully Obey God's Word Like Jesus, and then there will be no need to do healing and deliverance.

We must deal with our flesh. Why can't we carefully obey God's word? Because of the human flesh. If we have bad habits, we find many reasons for ourselves why we have these bad habits, and we even glorify them as good habits.

Man does not live by his flesh, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God. Know for sure that our God is a consuming fire. I have ministered to many people who were about to die, and they let go, began to love God, and carefully obeyed God's word, and they lived. But after they lived, they went back into the world, into the things of living, making money, and buying houses, and their condition became serious again. If you treat yourself as a dying person every day, you can let go of many things, and living becomes a very simple thing. People become very simple when they are about to die, so why be so complicated when we are alive?

Our sister was very lovely just now. She opened a store and now has three. May God accomplish what she believes. In fact, a few beauty salons are not a big deal. Love God, and what God wants to give you is much more than these stores and money!

Deuteronomy 28 mentions that if you carefully obey God's word, you will be blessed and prosperous wherever you are and whatever you do. Those who do not carefully obey, what have they become? Some people get so busy that their mothers become paralyzed; they take care of their mothers and get even busier, and one day they themselves become paralyzed. What is the point of that?

>If you fully obey the Lord your God and carefully follow all his commands I give you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations on earth. All these blessings will come on you and accompany you if you obey the Lord your God: Your basket and your kneading trough will be blessed. You will be blessed when you come in and blessed when you go out. (Deuteronomy 28:1-2, 4-6)

Conclusion

We must be victorious in carefully obeying God's word! Victory is predestined by God. The path to a good life is in carefully obeying God's word. Don't give up a gold mine for a piece of gold. Today you receive something new, then carefully obey it; tomorrow you receive something new again, then continue to carefully obey it. Living is a very simple thing. From now on, don't be afraid, worried, or unfree. If God is pleased with us and helps us, who can stand against us? God will lift us up, making us the head and not the tail, above and not below. Because God wants the whole earth to see His glory, and His glory will be manifested through a group of people who carefully obey His word!
