Blessings and Curses Throughout One's Life

Deuteronomy 21 is about removing evil from the land. What does removing evil from the land bring? It does not necessarily bring blessings, but at least it avoids curses. A person's life is one that is permeated by blessings and curses. If a person accumulates many curses in this world, they will live worse and worse. Moreover, that curse will continue to ferment and deepen. In this era in which we live, we see many people who will stop at nothing for money, but in the end, they do not live well. If you delve into their lives and observe the details, you will find that they are not living well at all.

Some time ago, I sent the 101 course to some newcomers whom I thought needed evangelism or pastoral care. After sending it to them, they came back and told me a lot. I gave them a response. I felt that they should grasp the key point: everything we do in life is a spiritual matter, and the spiritual realm is real. This is a beginning, and the results of our lives are shadows of the spiritual world. Today, we must know for sure how real the spiritual realm is, and we must not be Christians who are ignorant of the spiritual realm.

What Happens in the Spiritual Realm Directly Affects Us

The Bible uses spiritual words to speak of spiritual things, and uses the laws of the spiritual realm to speak of what happens in the spiritual realm. Then, what happens in the spiritual realm directly affects how we live in this world. Today, we see that what happens in this world is strange and varied.

Wherever I go, I like to contact my classmates and have a meal together. What I like to talk about most are these new things in the spiritual realm. I feel that these new things in the spiritual realm are inexhaustible, and may occasionally be repeated. There are new things in the spiritual realm every day. After I told my classmate about it, he began to think calmly: Oh, the things in our family turned out to be spiritual matters. He told me about them one by one.

My classmate's father died in an accident at work, and the day his father died was his sister's birthday. After a while, he heard another news that his uncle died unexpectedly. Later, he found out that the day his uncle died was his uncle's second daughter's birthday. How could there be such a coincidence? This is simply too coincidental, it is simply a paranormal event. Why did he have to die on that day? That is to say, what we see today, we say it is a coincidence, but the parties involved feel that this matter is a bit strange. When I told him about these things in the spiritual realm, how I performed miracles and drove out demons, and how I solved people's problems by attacking these demons in the spiritual realm, he told me about the paranormal events in his family.

I was thinking, after he told me about these paranormal events, how can I tell him that Jesus Christ is the answer to these problems? Later, I explained it to him. My classmate is very smart, and he began to learn and pursue. He has a good friend whose daughter knows a lot about astronomy, geography, history and humanities. She has read a lot. Everyone knows Qu Yuan, but she also knows Qu Yuan's brother-in-law, which we don't know. This is simply too deep into research, but this girl has mental illness and is now on leave from school at home, unable to go to college, and there is nothing she can do. He really wants to help his friend, but he is powerless. But I took over this job, because I have the skills to do it.

Today, we understand the laws of operation of the spiritual realm. You should treat others as you want them to treat you, this is the law and the prophets. Should know what we are reading today? Deuteronomy 21 is about how to remove evil from that land. Today, brothers and sisters, do not be ignorant.

So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets. (Matthew 7:12)

You should know that the summary rule behind the law and the prophets is: you should treat people the way you want them to treat you. Know that Jesus came not to abolish the law but to fulfill it. What will happen if Christians shed innocent blood today? You say it doesn't matter, come back and tell Jesus, I was wrong, you use your precious blood to blot out my sins, do you say it works? Some unbelievers say, You Christians are too evil, you do bad things and go to God to ask for forgiveness. God will forgive him. It's too unfair! In fact, these people do not know that the capital crime is forgiven, but the living crime is hard to escape.

If, in the land the Lord your God is giving you to possess, a body is found lying in a field, and it is not known who committed the murder, your elders and judges shall go out and measure the distance from the body to the towns around it. Then the elders of the town nearest the body shall take a heifer that has neither been worked nor has worn a yoke and lead it down to a valley that has not been plowed or planted and where there is a flowing stream, and in the valley they shall break the heifer’s neck.

The Levitical priests shall step forward, for the Lord your God has chosen them to minister before him and to pronounce blessings in his name and to decide all cases of dispute and assault.

Then all the elders of the town nearest the body shall wash their hands over the heifer whose neck was broken in the valley, and they shall declare: “Our hands did not shed this blood, nor did our eyes see it done.

Accept this atonement for your people Israel, whom you have redeemed, Lord, and do not hold your people guilty of the blood of an innocent person.” Then the guilt of shedding innocent blood will be atoned for.

You must purge from yourselves the guilt of shedding innocent blood, since you have done what is right in the eyes of the Lord. (Deuteronomy 21:1-9)

Christians Deliberately Sinning Will Bring Curses

Don’t have any misunderstandings, there are many examples in the Bible. What was the result of David's sin? David was a man after God's own heart, but he sinned. What did God say? God said: Your capital crime is forgiven, but the following curses will follow you and your descendants (2 Samuel 12:7-15). That's no joke. If we have thirty ancestors above us, and this curse is added to us, everyone will suffer enough. And you don’t know if they shed innocent blood, or if they took advantage of others, moved people’s boundaries, or did something bad. That is to say, today our brothers and sisters must begin to know that if the sin was not committed by us, then the precious blood of Jesus can blot it out, and then the evil spirits behind these sins can be driven away. But if we deliberately sin, then we still have to take some responsibility, you have to learn to be responsible.

What we see today is that I want to take this advantage, I want to get this benefit. But if I resort to any means to obtain this benefit, and as a result, I commit a sin and bring about a curse, then the result is not good. Why do people sin? They want to get benefits, but they don't get benefits, they get curses, and they get the corruption of evil spirits. So today, brothers and sisters, if you feel that there seems to be a curse in my family, you must break it. There are teachings about this in the healing and deliverance courses, and people should know how real the spiritual realm is.

Don't ever think that if I do this, I will live well. In this world, you will not live well if you do it according to your own will, you must do it according to God's word. The Bible says very clearly, if you carefully observe and obey the words of God, you will receive blessings, and the following blessings will follow you. If you disobey the words of God, then the curses will follow you. So don't underestimate Deuteronomy. You say that is the Old Testament, and now it is the New Testament, the era of grace. Today I tell you that Jesus has never abolished these laws, Jesus came to fulfill these laws.

In the past, in the Old Testament, you resorted to any means for your own benefit, because you seemed to have no choice but to do so for the sake of benefit, then people could not avoid being cursed. But today Jesus has come, and He has caused the Holy Spirit to descend upon us, and we can all receive power, and we can overcome the greed and desires within us. If our God engraves His words in our hearts, I think this solves the problem of fulfilling the law. To fulfill the law, on the one hand, we must know God's will, that is, to know how real these spiritual things are, and on the other hand, we must also know that we can overcome the evil within us by relying on the Holy Spirit.

Evil Spirits Will Operate in Places Where Innocent Blood Is Shed

Observe human history and you will find that many once glorious cities have become ruins. Try not to go to these places. That is a very deadly thing, because these places that have become ruins have been deeply cursed. In Nanjing, China, there is a memorial hall for the Second World War, which contains many photos of the Nanjing Massacre. I have never been to that place, but a person came to me. After he went to that place, he specially smelled the smell of the corpse. As a result, he developed a mental illness and wanted to die all day long. Then he came to me, hoping to be released among us, but the ghost behind him was quite powerful.

So today, brothers and sisters, let’s look at this matter. The matter of shedding innocent blood is very serious. In the city where the shedding of innocent blood has occurred, that city will be haunted. If it happens outside the city, then the nearest city will be haunted. Why are there hauntings? It is because evil spirits are operating there because of such things. It should be known that the operation of evil spirits is a very interesting thing, and it is closely related to the shedding of innocent blood in that place. So we see that some places have traffic accidents and people die. Later, people summed up the rule and thought that the ghost was grabbing a substitute and being reborn. In fact, it is not, it is just the ghost causing the accident.

Today, I want to tell you that you must not think that this passage is about how to solve a case of someone who has died. This is a spiritual matter, and the Bible uses spiritual words to speak of spiritual things. If the Bible records this matter, you should know that this matter is closely related to blessings and curses.

If the elders of this city do not do this, the guilt of shedding innocent blood will fall on this city, and this city will inexplicably have more and more strange things happening. Although we are justified by faith, blessings and curses are really related to what you do. Deuteronomy 28 says that if you carefully observe and obey the words of the Lord your God, the following blessings will follow you, otherwise the following curses will follow you. So our God is a God who both blesses and curses. As a result, the guilt of shedding innocent blood fell on the heifer.

Blessings are Closely Related to Obeying God's Word

We often think that blessings require no action on our part. However, blessings are conditional and closely tied to diligently obeying God's word. If you consistently act according to His word and fight against the devil, you will be blessed. Do not assume that doing nothing will bring blessings; at best, you will only receive the manna of grace in the wilderness.

We categorize God's grace into several aspects: the Exodus, eating manna in the wilderness, and entering the Promised Land. Your spiritual condition is closely related to your state of blessing. If what we do is so important, Christians must diligently obey God's word. If innocent blood has been shed in this place, we need to pray and offer sacrifices for this land. In this generation, people have become wealthy, and the nation has become strong, yet there are more people in hospitals. This is because people have gone their own way, being selfish, and have received deeper curses, which are reflected in their financial and health problems. When choosing a city to live in, choose a place that fears God. If a place often sheds innocent blood, the curse on that place is very deep.

There are other matters, such as warfare. Among the captured women, if there is a beautiful one, God says you may take her as your wife. The clothes she wears represent the curses and defilement she has inherited. Beauty is an interesting thing; a person's appearance is related to the spiritual world. In my many healings and deliverances, I have found that many sisters become more beautiful after deliverance, while those who are demon-possessed become ugly. A person's appearance is a very spiritual matter. If you are naturally beautiful, being possessed by a demon will make you ugly; if you are not so beautiful, being possessed will make you even uglier than before.

Why should this woman mourn her parents for a whole month? I think it is to break the curses that come from her parents; this is my explanation without fully understanding the situation. If you later do not delight in her, you may let her go wherever she wants, but you must not sell her for money or treat her as a slave, because you have defiled her. This woman has entered into a marital relationship with this Israelite man, and if you sell her again, it will bring a curse.

To Receive Blessings, You Must Understand Spiritual Matters

Some time ago, I was doing healing and deliverance for a sister, and I later found out that her ancestors were from a wealthy family. She sang very mournfully during the deliverance. I guess that in wealthy families, stories like Raise the Red Lantern often played out; Raise the Red Lantern is a play about wrongful deaths and hangings in wealthy families, and that place becomes haunted, and this haunting continues from generation to generation. After so many years, the family's children still have to endure the disturbance of demons. Such curses and hauntings behind families are very serious. When we read the Bible, we should know that if you marry that woman, you cannot sell her, because deep resentment will arise in her heart.

The reason I am telling this is to remind everyone not to forget the teachings of the Law and the Prophets, which is that you should treat others as you would want them to treat you. Do not forget that there will be curses behind things for the sake of money. People who use all means for their own benefit will receive very deep curses, because they are ignorant of the spiritual world.

The spiritual world is real. If you want blessings, you must understand the reality of the spiritual world! Why are people biased? When a person lives with a worldly, carnal logic system, they will get caught up in how much they give themselves and how much they give others. Whether a person lives well or badly has nothing to do with the amount of money they have, but most importantly with blessings and curses!

Evil Spirits Will Be With Those Who Are Carnal and Love the World

Recently, I learned a lesson during my mother's deliverance process. Some time ago, my mother was almost in a state of dementia, sometimes lucid, sometimes confused, and sometimes doing things that were incomprehensible. Later, when we prayed for my mother, the evil spirit began to speak, saying it was the spirit of an old horse from the deep mountains! Later, we wondered what this was, and my mother described the shape that appeared to her, like a dung beetle! The evil spirit of dementia is actually the evil spirit of these worms in hell. So we need to push healing and deliverance to a higher level!

Before, when I was on a business trip, a sister told me that her old aunt took care of her grandmother, and her grandmother often became confused, staying in the toilet for half an hour without doing anything, and then messing up outside the toilet. Where does dementia come from? It comes from loving the world and indulging the flesh. In Deuteronomy 21:18-21, when you encounter a stubborn and rebellious son, you must stone him to death. Stubbornness is a very serious matter; but reverence is a very good factor in healing and deliverance. Without reverence, healing and deliverance is difficult to do. If you indulge his flesh, it is difficult to deal with the evil spirits behind him; stubbornness and rebellion will attract many evil spirits! From verse 22 to the end, it talks about the sinner who is hanged on a tree, who must be taken away and buried that night to avoid defilement. These details that God speaks of return to the Ten Commandments, which are the overall outline, which is to remove the things that will be cursed.

We need to understand, do not do things that will be cursed. Some things seem to bring benefits on the surface, but are actually cursed. Everyone must understand how the spiritual world works. Thank God that He tells us these revelations, so that we can understand God's word. When we read the Bible, do not get too caught up in the literal meaning, but diligently obey God's word, Amen!

21:1 “If, in the land the Lord your God is giving you to possess, a body is found lying in an open field, and no one knows who killed him,
21:2 your elders and judges shall go out and measure the distance from the body to the surrounding towns.
21:3 Then the elders of the town nearest the body shall take a heifer that has neither been worked nor has worn a yoke

21:15 “If a man has two wives, one he loves and the other he does not, and both have borne him sons but the firstborn is the son of the wife he does not love,
21:16 when he wills his property to his sons, he must not give the rights of the firstborn to the son of the wife he loves in preference to his actual firstborn, the son of the wife he does not love.
21:17 He must acknowledge the son of his unloved wife as the firstborn by giving him a double share of all he has. That son is the first sign of his father’s strength. The right of the firstborn belongs to him.
21:18 “If a man has a stubborn and rebellious son who does not obey his father and mother and will not listen to them even after they discipline him,
21:19 his father and mother shall take hold of him and bring him to the elders at the gate of his town.
21:20 They shall say to the elders, ‘This son of ours is stubborn and rebellious. He will not obey us. He is a glutton and a drunkard.’
21:21 Then all the men of his town are to stone him to death. You must purge the evil from among you. All Israel will hear of it and be afraid.
21:22 “If someone guilty of a capital offense is put to death and their body is exposed on a pole,
21:23 you must not leave the body hanging on the pole overnight. Be sure to bury it that same day, because anyone who is hung on a pole is under God’s curse. You must not desecrate the land the Lord your God is giving you as an inheritance.
