【Sermon】- Foundation of Faith Series 01: Re-Understanding the Realm Between Life and Death!

2022-04-10 8,022 Foundation of Faith Series

Introduction

Good morning, everyone. The topic for today is the first lecture in the series on the foundation of faith. You might think this series is the 101 course, The Spiritual Realm is Real, but there's a prelude to that. Today, I'll be sharing something called The Foundation of Faith Series (1): Rethinking the Space Between Life and Death! From today onward, I will be embarking on a new series called the Foundation of Faith Series. It's a very fundamental topic; without this foundation, everything else is futile. This is what I later discovered among brothers and sisters in Christ: why, after believing for so many years, they still feel confused and ask strange questions?

Rethinking the space between life and death—what do people think it is? They think it's that moment when someone suddenly dies, that's crossing the line between life and death. No, I'm saying that a person has two events in their lifetime: one is when you are born, and the other is when you die. Before you were born, you were not in this world; once you were born, you came into this world, and after living for a while, you die. From birth to death is what I call the space between life and death. You have to understand the space between life and death, which is birth and death.

If you asked me to draw a picture to represent it, I would draw a very, very long line. On this timeline, I might start drawing the line from 5,000 years ago and continue it to eternity. You might be a post-80s generation, drawing a line in the 1980s. The other line hasn't been drawn yet, but it will be eventually. In this long river of history, that small segment between birth and death is the space between life and death. You might say, Why is my space between life and death so different from yours? I say, Is there something wrong with birth and death? No, there isn't. It's not about living and dying miserably; that's the space between life and death you talked about before. Today, I'm talking about rethinking this matter from birth to death.

In the past, when we studied the Bible and preached, people often asked questions that I found strange, but they thought were normal. And when I answered, they found it strange, but I thought it was normal. There's something hard to understand between us; that something is a different perspective on the space between life and death. To put it more bluntly, it's about living from birth to death. There's a lot to learn about this matter of living. Some people can tell from the way you live—living neither like a person nor a ghost. So today, we must gradually begin to understand.

In fact, many things I do, some pastors who have interacted with me will know, many people don't quite understand. They don't understand, but I do. Why? Because I have a characteristic: I see through things from before birth to after death. This is called seeing through life and death. What does it mean to see through? It means seeing from before birth to after death, from before death to after death. Some people say I'm just bragging. What have you seen? Actually, I haven't seen anything. Have you been to heaven? No. Have you died? No. Then how have you seen through it? Why can't I see through it? Do I have to die myself to see through it? If I die, how can I see through it? It would be useless.

But here's the thing, it's not hard for me to see through. Why isn't it hard? Have you been to a crematorium? Have you seen dead people in a funeral home? There are often funerals near us. In Singapore, there are often public spaces, small areas in many buildings, where people put up wreaths and coffins after someone dies. I often see them. You might not feel anything when you see them, but I always feel something. Why do I have to lie down and die, and then look at myself? Can I see? I can't. I see through others, and I see through it. Some people say, I haven't experienced it yet. Experienced what? I see through other people's experiences. That's so smart.

So, as the Bible says, you may not be able to understand what I say, and you may not be able to fully understand what I do. Someone was curious: How can you understand what the Bible says? There was a brother who had severe hay fever. When spring came and the flowers bloomed, he had difficulty breathing, like asthma. He got injections, took medicine, did this and that, and almost died several times. He came to us. Why did he come to us? Because his wife almost died too. She had cancer, and they had a child. It was truly a matter of life and death. As a result, his wife's cancer was cured, and his own hay fever was also cured. His child also attended our gatherings and loved and trusted God. But he forgot one thing, which is the matter of life and death (I say forgot, but he may not have forgotten).

One day, the child didn't do well on an exam and asked his father, Dad, explain to me from a theological perspective why my grades are so bad? The father thought and thought but couldn't explain it. So the father and son asked the mother. The mother was very clever and said, Why are you even asking such a question? Isn't that a powerful answer? I often say things like that. Brothers and sisters, do you think that's a good answer? When someone asks you a question, you answer, Why are you even asking such a question? It's like answering, but also like not answering. The father and son stared at each other: Yeah, why are we even asking such a question?

You might think this is an ambiguous answer, but it's not. You might think I'm afraid to answer, but I'm not. I look at you typing these words, and you all need to rethink this matter of life and death! Why? Because we take this little matter of living too seriously. Can that exam determine your fate? What's so great about doing well or not doing well? It's no big deal. Today you're entangled in this little matter, tomorrow you're entangled in that little matter. Isn't your whole life just a series of little matters? I want to remind everyone—rethink the space between life and death. I hope this reminder is useful to you.

How many things does a person have to experience in a lifetime to be considered experienced? How many things must one experience to be considered experiencing God? I'm emotional because I've done too many things in these past years of ministry. The thing that makes me the most emotional is that people never see through this matter of life and death, even when they're old. Let's talk about中华五千年culture. Can you understand 5,000 years? Can you see through so many years before you were born? There have been so many people, so many events, so many stories in history. This one died, that one died, but none of them lived to this day. Can you understand it? The things after you die are similar to the things after they died.

Have you attended a funeral? After someone dies, things just go on like that; other people continue with their lives. After you die, other people will continue with their lives. The question is, how much do we have to experience? Recently, there was a sister who was very interesting. She's a very lovely sister. What's lovely about her? She loves the Lord, and she loves the Lord in a very interesting way. A few days ago, she told her pastor, Teacher, I have to put down my service. I won't be pastoring anymore, and I won't be participating in ministry anymore. I won't do anything.

Her pastor said, You love the Lord so much. Why have you suddenly changed like this? Then she said, You see, my rhinitis flared up a while ago. I have problems with my nose, sometimes I can't breathe. It gets better with prayer, but it comes back again and again. Once, when I was leading someone in prayer, I couldn't breathe. After thinking it over, I felt it was better to put it down. Then she told her pastor, Actually, teacher, I haven't experienced much. My experience is not as good as yours.

This surprised me. What surprised me? I'll tell you, she has experienced so much! Coming to us, that's not an ordinary experience! Her brother died in a car accident. Did she understand it? She didn't understand. You see your family members die, can you understand it? No. Did she experience it? Yes, she did. Her mother was very sad and suffered a lot because her son died. She had all kinds of illnesses. Even she herself suffered from depression. She had a hard time. Did her mother get better when she came to us? Yes, she did. Did she get better? Yes, she did too.

A few years ago, she also brought her daughter to us. Why? Her daughter had scoliosis of 38 degrees. That was scary. That's what the doctor diagnosed her with. Did she get better with prayer in our midst? Yes, she did. Her son's asthma also got better. Back then, because she really wanted a son, she went to a temple to worship. She worshiped and really got a son, but the son had asthma from a young age. I'm telling you about this family. How much do you have to experience? But in the end, she can't let go of anything, except she can let go of God.

I'm emotional. Don't make things so complicated. Why? Because we take this matter of living too seriously. We haven't understood the space between life and death at all. We haven't seen through it, and we still feel like we haven't experienced anything. I'm thinking, how much do you have to experience? Do you have to experience lying in a coffin yourself before you're willing to give up? If you experience that, you don't have to experience anything else. Today I have to pour cold water on everyone. Why am I bringing up this matter of rethinking life and death again today? Because I often minister and minister, and I find that many things are your own 造化! Can you understand?

Yesterday, I led an English Bible study and talked about Esau and Jacob. When they were still children, they heard a lot about their grandfather and father's stories! Their grandfather held Esau and Jacob, one in each arm, resting on his left and right thighs. The two children listened to their grandfather talk about how God made a covenant with him and what he had experienced. The two children reacted differently. That's their fate. Are you Esau's fate or Jacob's fate? Actually, I'm telling you, Jacob didn't quite understand why he was pursuing this. Understand?

Several years ago, I ministered to a sister. Actually, this sister had many problems. She couldn't do anything well at work. It was troublesome to minister to her. She was lazy and stupid, really annoying. She asked me, Teacher, what if I was born to be a vessel of wrath to manifest God's anger? How should a pastor answer that? I said, May your word be fulfilled. I can only say that's your fate. If you have such a fate, who can you turn to?

Like Jacob, he was not born as the eldest son, nor was he born to receive the covenant that God made with Abraham and Isaac. That portion originally belonged to Esau. But Jacob desperately pursued it and finally obtained it. Originally Esau should have obtained it, but he didn't. Isn't that fate? Actually, do you think I can change your mind? Abraham and Isaac couldn't change Esau's mind. Can I change your mind? I'm not your grandfather. Even if I were your grandfather, I couldn't change it! Today I want to remind everyone, only you can change it!

I'm a pastor, and I often see dead people. Quite a few people have died before my eyes. That's normal. Some time ago, I had a gathering with my classmates. The classmate who organized the gathering looked at his phone and said, Oh no, one of our classmates is in the ICU. I said, Then let's go see him. Everyone went to the hospital, but they couldn't enter the ICU. What was wrong with this classmate? He was in his fifties and had stomach cancer. It was in the early stages, and the surgery was very successful, but not quite successful—it was successful in that the surgery was performed, but the incision couldn't heal, and stomach juices were flowing all over his abdomen. The next day, we received a notice. When we went to see our old classmate again, he was in a coffin at the funeral home.

We all calculated that more than 10 percent of our classmates had already passed away. Fortunately, I haven't passed away yet. One of our classmates talked about how one of our other classmates passed away: one classmate was at home taking out his keys to open the door, but before he could open the door, someone knocked him on the head with a small hammer from behind. From then on, he had all kinds of illnesses and died within a few years. Alas, the mortality rate is quite high. There was also someone who lived in our backyard. We went to school and came home together since we were kids. He was robbed on the street and stabbed to death. In addition, there were people who went to jail, etc. The place I lived when I was a child wasn't great; it was murky and chaotic.

That's people's fate! Who are you going to ask? What kind of fate do you want? It's like going to buy shoes. What brand do you want? If you want an 老人头 brand, we'll put an 老人头 brand on it. If you want Nike, we'll put a Nike brand on it. Whatever brand you want, we'll put that brand on it. But what kind of fate do you want today? If people can't see through life and death and live too seriously, being serious is ultimately useless. Today I have to tell you, you can't control when you're born, and you can't control when you die. So what can you control? You say you study well, but your exam scores are still not as good as others'. What can you control? In the end, there's only one thing. After you've done everything, from before birth to after death, going through all of that, you see, alas, rethinking the space between life and death! Suddenly you understand—I need God so much. It's that simple.

You say you can protect yourself? You can't. Since you can't protect yourself, why have you put down God? You're not willing to put down anything, but you dare to put down God. That's people's fate! I can tell everyone, different people have different fates. What kind of person has what kind of fate? I understand that very clearly. As for what kind of fate I want to live, I have to choose carefully! How do I choose? First, see through this matter from birth to death! That's the key to becoming smart, understand? If you don't pass the test of seeing through life and death, then everything I've talked about before—the Book of Proverbs, the Management Series, the Book of Exodus—is all useless, all for nothing. If a person lives only to live and can't see through anything, you'll understand for a moment and then not understand for a moment, you'll seem to understand for a moment and then not understand for a moment. Did I hit the nail on the head? I certainly did.

I'm a preacher, and the sermon I preach is the Book of Ecclesiastes. One day, I was driving, and a sister in the back seat was playing my sermon on the Book of Ecclesiastes. I enjoyed listening to it, and I even asked who was preaching it, it sounded so good. It turned out to be me. Actually, I'm the same way. Sometimes I understand, and sometimes I don't understand. When I listen to it, I become clear-headed. When I see a 人炉, when I see that coffin, I become clear-headed. In the end, all that's left is a handful of ashes—your love, your hate, your family, your marriage... everything is gone. At that time, will you still ask those questions? Will you still ask about marriage, whether to divorce or not? By that time, just let it be! Anyway, I won't ask. Asking those questions means you haven't understood this matter.

Actually, not many things can affect me. Do you know why? Because I've seen through this matter from before birth to after death. Can those things affect me? One day, someone came to me and had no place to live, so I let him sleep on the floor in my room. When I opened my eyes in the morning, he was gone. I looked for him everywhere and found him sitting in the living room. I said, What's wrong? Why aren't you sleeping in my room? He said, Teacher, your snoring is like a train. It turns out that even my sleeping affects people. I affect people when I'm awake, and even when I'm asleep. That's my fate. But not many things affect me. You snore, but I'm not affected. I can sleep when I need to sleep. I'm pretty resilient. Why? It's good to see through things; things can't affect you. But it's so good to affect others! So, understand this matter of rethinking life and death from a high level, to guide every single day. Don't grumble and complain every day, day in and day out, and eventually forget the complete picture. Who can change Esau? I can't change him either. Abraham can't change him either. That's people's fate! How many times does a person have to die to understand? Actually, not even once. Let's look at the scriptures:

Scripture

A good name is better than fine perfume, and the day of death better than the day of birth. It is better to go to a house of mourning than to go to a house of feasting, for death is the destiny of everyone; the living should take this to heart.Frustration is better than laughter, because a sad face is good for the heart. The heart of the wise is in the house of mourning, but the heart of fools is in the house of pleasure. (Ecclesiastes 7:1-4)

Prayer

God, open our minds today. Let us know today that our lives are not long. We know that we cannot control our birth, and we cannot control our death. Who can we rely on besides you? God, may you be the Lord and King in us, govern our lives, may you do wonderful work in us, let my heart turn back to you, let our thoughts be like the thoughts of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen!

What is Ecclesiastes Chapter 7 Talking About?

In the seventh chapter of Ecclesiastes, if you read it from beginning to end, you will find that **God created man in a very straightforward way, but man has sought out many clever schemes, making a very straightforward thing very complicated.**Ecclesiastes as a whole is talking about vanity of vanities, that it is vanity of vanities for man to live, but it is as if man does not think it is vanity, he lives so really, but he also cannot figure out what is good. In the seventh chapter of Ecclesiastes, man makes many things very complicated. For example, extortion, bribery, is for money. Do not be overly righteous, value your reputation. Do not take people's words to heart. You must examine the work of God, that is what I said when studying the Bible in Ecclesiastes chapter seven.

Actually, why is man like this? It is because man has not understood this matter of death. If man understands death, and recognizes this matter from birth to death, he will not be so tired, because in the end the ending is almost the same. Busy and busy, he forgets this matter of death. He takes his passport and airplane ticket, boards the plane, and the plane falls, and from then on it is gone. What are you busy with? The plane falls, and some people rejoice that they did not make it; some people pray to be able to make it, they insist on making it, and in the end they make it, and that means they made it to death.

Today, I want to give you a reminder: one day your life will come to an end. What will you be thinking then? If you only had one hour to live, you must keep death in mind! If you only had one hour to live, what would you do? If you had one day to live, what would you do? If you had one week to live, what would you do? If you had one month to live, what would you do? If you had one year to live, what would you do? You might say asking this is bad luck, but asking this is good! So you must consider how you will live your days.

We cannot control death; we do not know when it will come. We cannot control birth either. So we must address this issue. What is your perspective? When you re-examine this matter, you will find that there are not many things in life that you can control! Is that all there is after death? Then you will seek. Seek what? Seek God! In fact, many people disagree with Ecclesiastes 7:1-4, for death is the destiny of everyone; the living should take this to heart.

You say, can the living be happy to keep this in mind? If you keep it in mind, you should seek diligently! Why do I need God? If I keep this matter in mind all the time, can I not need God? If I keep God in mind all the time, can I put God down? Can I say those idiotic words: From now on, I will not serve God! If you do not serve God, are you not indebted? God does not particularly lack your stinky tofu. It is we who need God!

Because we cannot see clearly, how many things do we manage? Do you agree with Ecclesiastes 7:1-4? If you do not agree, that is your fate. So Solomon wrote this as a good summary for a preacher. If you do not agree, do not ask me in the future; I cannot convince you. When you go to see Solomon, then go ask Solomon. When you see Solomon, you do not need to ask; asking would be futile. Ecclesiastes Chapter 7 is about this matter.

Death is the Destiny of Everyone

What I like to talk about most is death! Actually, I often think about death, and people think I am abnormal. I often think about death, but I never seem to die. I am surprised myself. Just when I am about to breathe my last, the will is arranged, and things are explained, but I do not breathe my last, I just cannot die. But the issue is that death is the destiny of everyone.

Genesis Chapter 5 and Chapter 11 both talk about: Who begat whom, lived for how many years, and then died... In the era of Genesis Chapter 5, there was no paper; it was written on sheepskin. Sheepskin was so precious, why write so much about who lived for how many years and then died! Abraham appears in Genesis Chapter 12. This Abraham made money and became a rich man, and then he discovered that making money and spending money were meaningless. When he thought that he would eventually become a handful of ashes, he felt uncomfortable. This Abraham, keeping death in mind, would think about what to do.

A few days ago, I wanted to install a few news apps on my phone, but I found that there were not many that talked about life; they all talked about money, various financial news. Why is there nothing related to death! There is something alive people use called Facebook. One day a friend came to me and said, what about we make a Facebook for dead people? I said if this dead people's Facebook suddenly posted a message one day, how scary would that be!

There is a monkey who saw another monkey die. The other monkeys did not react, thinking that death was normal. But this monkey's reaction was different. This monkey's nickname was Abraham Monkey. Why? Because he cried. He said one day I will also die, so what to do after death? As a result, this smart monkey went to seek eternal life. There is also a person in this world, and this person is also called Abraham, who saw people born and then die, born and then die, and then went to seek eternal life. There are many people who see a person die, and then they cry. The next day, they continue to live, continue to make money, and continue to love and hate. How is this human life not as good as a monkey's life? Many people's lives in this world are not as good as a monkey's life.

There are many things about Abraham that we cannot understand, because of one thing: we have not understood what Abraham was thinking inside. What Abraham was thinking inside was: death is the destiny of everyone, all these things will pass away, so he does not care about many things. The things he cares about are different from the things we care about. He had already clearly recognised the matter between life and death. Not only Abraham, but also Isaac, Jacob, Moses, Joshua, Jesus, and the Apostle Paul were like this. In fact, I am also like this. I wish everyone was like this!

Brothers and sisters who have not recognised it yet and are still struggling for the things of the living should wake up! First recognise that death is the destiny of everyone, and also the destiny of all monkeys, all dogs, all wolves, all pigs... Only recognising this matter is the foundation; nothing else will do! If this matter is not clarified, even if you take notes, do ministry, or serve and shepherd, it is useless. Even monkeys know to seek, how much more should we know to seek the eternal God! If we do not seek the eternal God, even if you are born in Abraham's house, you are not walking Abraham's path**. If you are an Esau, it is because you have not clarified things, and you are under a curse.

Will your height surpass a monkey's? I do not know if this will shame everyone. Can our height surpass life and death? Do not get entangled in this little matter!

Abraham's Faith is Built on the Foundation of Seeing Through Life and Death

There are many things about Abraham that we cannot understand. When his wife was snatched away, she was snatched away, and Abraham did not get entangled. Ordinary people would be entangled to death. We cannot understand Abraham's reaction inside after his wife was snatched away, because I cannot see as clearly as Abraham. Abraham interacted with people, his water well was snatched away, he wandered on the earth and lived in tents, his wife gave Hagar to him, who gave birth to Ishmael, and then Ishmael was sent away; that was also his flesh and blood!

Abraham did not even go back to mourn when his father died. It is hard to imagine what kind of person Abraham was. Abraham's life is beyond our imagination. Later, he offered up his beloved son Isaac, and we cannot understand it either. What he did was beyond ordinary people. So why did he do these things? It is because he saw through this matter of life and death. Anyway, he will die one day. If we cannot understand, do not pick on people. If we cannot understand, we must learn from others! That is to say, our height has not reached their height, so we must learn from others. This is the foundation!

You say, is this not the foundation? If a person cannot see through life and death, cannot see through these things, and always feels that he must do something, he is tired all day long! He thinks that being so tired will be of any use, but actually it is of no use. I will not continue to talk about this matter of Abraham today.

Joshua's Faith is Built on the Foundation of Seeing Through Life and Death

I will start talking about the seventh point—Joshua's faith is built on the foundation of seeing through life and death. You know Joshua, have you read the Book of Joshua? There is a very interesting thing in the Book of Joshua:

But if serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.” (Joshua 24:15)

Have you read this passage? We thought his household was his wife and children! Actually, it is not. Me and my household refers to people who are like me. We are one family, those who are like me will certainly serve the Lord. Which family is it? It is the people who have seen through this matter of life and death. There are many things we cannot control, so must we not trust in God? When we trust in God, do we not solve the problem? Because our God is a faithful God.

Joshua said to the people, “You are not able to serve the Lord; he is a holy God; he is a jealous God. He will not forgive your offenses and sins.” (Joshua 24:19)

What is He jealous of? It is this one thing—you are living for the sake of living. Joshua was not living for the sake of living; Joshua was living to serve God, and serving God was his destiny. You say, since that is his destiny, can he put it down? If serving God is not your destiny, then you say put it down, and you put it down! Then everything else is your destiny, only God is not your destiny. That is your destiny! Then the people of Israel are blinded, what does that mean? It means they live for the sake of living, and living is for the sake of eating delicious food and drinking spicy drinks. When people live for the sake of living, they get crooked ideas. I feel that people getting crooked ideas is particularly beyond my imagination.

You have to put down all things and serve God well. What do you mean? Someone says, Are you saying that I should not work? I say, What kind of brain is that? You get crooked ideas as soon as you think. As soon as I say see through life and death, what happens? Anyway, people get crooked ideas as soon as they think. Sometimes, I say put down these things, and they refute me: Does that mean I should not take care of my parents? I say, what are you thinking about? I do not know why they are so crooked. Some people also say that I love God very much. I say, how much do you love God? He says, I cry a lot when singing hymns. Why do you cry? I feel so wronged, God is particularly merciful to me, and makes me feel a little more comfortable in my heart. Comfortable about what? The next day it is back to the same. You say, what kind of brain is this?

There is a sister who has back pain. She has experienced a lot among us. When her back hurts, she tries many tricks and sees many doctors. Her brother had a deadly disease. Before that, he had also given a testimony. Her brother had a deadly disease, and he was really dying. When I was ministering to her brother, I was also ministering to another cancer patient. Her brother was really dying, and later he started to get better. So some things are really strange! Some people send their children to learn this and learn that. They are so busy! Learning all kinds of musical instruments, all kinds of dancing, and taekwondo... They do a lot, and they are busy to death. What are they busy with? If you want to learn, you might as well send them to Russia to learn to ride a bear. I am just joking.

I say that people's faith foundation takes these things too seriously. If serving God takes up these things, that will not work. Why? It is not what Joshua said. You cannot serve the Lord God. Many people come among us, Then I have to follow everyone, I follow to be blessed. It is still for this little thing of living. I follow you to be blessed, and I can live a little better. That is not the case. Whether you are good or not depends entirely on whether you are an Esau or a Jacob. If you live for the sake of living, that in itself is a cursed thing.

Today we need to know why Joshua did this? Because he entrusted serving God and living on this earth entirely into the hands of God. Serving God is his destiny. But some people's destiny is not this destiny.

The Apostle Paul's Faith is Built on the Foundation of Seeing Through Life and Death

Today you need to gradually begin to understand, look at what the Apostle Paul wrote, otherwise you will not understand. If you are like the Apostle Paul, then we will mention a more sensitive topic. He said that those who marry are as though they did not marry, those who are married are as though they are not married, and those who have possessions are as though they have no possessions. Can you understand this? He has seen through life and death, and this matter is not important. But if you think this matter is important, then you think this matter is important. So what is the problem? Actually, after the Apostle Paul finished speaking, it was to let us also understand this matter and see through it.

You see, many mothers come to church to find partners for their daughters. They are not here to seek God, they are here to seek a wealthy son-in-law; it is all about these things. So the Apostle Paul said:

I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me; (Galatians 2:20)

Can you understand what he is thinking? You cannot understand because you have a foundation inside. Brothers and sisters, is your foundation built on the foundation of living or on the foundation of God? The results are completely different. If it is built on the foundation of living, even though you also come to church, it is only to live a little better. Is that the goal? Even if you live a little better, so what? It is not much better. If people live for the sake of living, are they not blinded? They cannot understand Jesus' teachings, nor can they understand Paul's teachings.

When I was leading everyone to study Proverbs, whenever I talked about marriage, everyone had this and that problem. After I saw it, I still told everyone to talk about seeing through life and death! Many people have not seen through or understood this matter of living; that is the concept of this life. Being considerate of human intentions is Satan. The reason why Paul preached the gospel with great power is because he gave everything for God, and serving God was his destiny. You cannot stop him from serving God; if you stop him, he will fight you. When you ask some people to serve God, they will fight you. Can that be the same?

Conclusion: Seeking the Way of Eternal Life Begins with Seeing Through Life and Death

I do not want to change everyone, but everyone must think carefully and choose carefully! Seeking the way of eternal life begins with seeing through life and death. Seeing through life and death is not an end point, it is a starting point! Someone says this starting point is quite high! How many people can see through life and death? Yes, not many people. If you can see through, will you not become a master? But this is the foundation of the faith of Jesus Christ.

Because Abraham saw through these things, he came to seek God; because Joshua saw through these things, he was able to enter the Promised Land; because the Apostle Paul saw through these things, he was greatly used by God; today, if you and I see through and see that this life is empty, must we not seek something that can support our lives? That thing is the way of eternal life. What can support us in this life? Nothing can. This is the path of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob! This is the path of Moses, Joshua, Caleb, David, and Samuel! This is the path that Jesus Christ and the Apostle Paul walked!

Why do some people serve without getting tired? Why are some people so tired when they serve? Because they feel that this is what they should do, it is their destiny! Some people work overtime without feeling tired, they are willing and happy. But serving God is not okay. What kind of destiny is this? Brothers and sisters, Esau and Jacob walked different paths! Two kingdoms, two ways of thinking! Esau thinks one way, and Jacob thinks another way. Is it strange or not?

So Jesus Christ often criticised his disciples: You are too slow to believe! Did you understand? Today, are our brothers and sisters too slow to believe? I tell you, if this matter is not clarified, no matter how much you experience or do, it is useless. If I pray and you are healed, it is also useless. Looking at the things Jesus did in Jesus' presence is also useless. Too slow! Why are they slow? Because they only have the matter of living in their eyes. They do not know anything, they do not understand anything, just live like that! I can only wish you good luck.

You have not even clarified this matter, and you are still outside of eternal life! You still think you have been saved. Saved from what? You are still just an Esau, living under a curse. I cannot wish you bad luck, you will scold me. But that is really bad luck! Can you not have bad luck without God? Ghosts are with you all day long, and ghosts get involved in everything you do. God does not care, and even sends a few ghosts to mess with you. Why do people who believe become Pharisees? It is because the foundation is on the foundation of living, and they put on an appearance of serving God. Is that not hypocrisy?

You must build on the foundation of seeing through life and death. Can everyone understand? I do not know what everyone will choose. Actually, what you choose is your own destiny! Today, either choose to live for God or choose to live for yourself. If you choose to live for yourself, I wish you good luck. Live your life well for these seventy or eighty years. If you choose to live for God, we will live in eternal life.

Today, I testify to my brothers and sisters with heaven and earth as my witness, to let everyone choose between blessing and disaster, life and death. This simple principle, why can't you understand it? If you still cannot understand, often take a walk in the crematorium; if you still cannot understand, often take a walk in the funeral home. Walking around those things wakes you up! I used to have a colleague whose kidney was given by his younger brother, but that kidney could only be used for ten years. Ten years later, he was lying in a coffin, and I and other colleagues went to see him for the last time. It was very sobering!

People live and then they die, so cherish the days when you are alive. In the future, the things we pursue when we are alive will have to be accounted for before God. You say you do not believe in God, you have to account for it even if you do not believe in God. I wish that all brothers and sisters could understand and re-examine the matter between life and death.
