【Course】The Most Critical Thing for Healing and Deliverance is Faith

2016-04-25 14,289 Third Workshop - Healing and Deliverance Conference

Faith as a Choice We Make

Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. “You of little faith,” he said, “why did you doubt?” (Matthew 14:31)

In healing and deliverance, the crucial key is faith. Faith is a choice made in the heart. When we choose to lack faith, our actions are ineffective. However, when we choose to believe, the impact becomes evident. When discord arises in our families, without faith, we are uncertain when it will pass. Yet, by choosing to believe, the conflict dissipates swiftly. Our inner state becomes positive and uplifting, and our ability to fight strengthens.

The most critical aspects of faith are, first, to be strong and courageous, and second, to cast aside all anxieties and fears. When fear and worry plague our hearts, we are unable to contend with the devil. When we pray for healing from illness, it is not about methodology, but about faith. The key to faith is to decide whether to take medication or consult a doctor based on belief. Anything that proves effective is worth pursuing; do not be constricted by dogma. Wisdom is paramount.

Stop Believing Symptoms, Start Believing in God’s Power

I once ministered to a sister suffering from a cold and fever. After prayer, all symptoms of discomfort vanished, and she felt well. Yet, her temperature read 39 degrees Celsius. Despite this, she felt completely normal, with no adverse symptoms. We often consider thermometers highly accurate, but our spiritual senses are even more precise. In healing and deliverance, we must not adhere rigidly to any one thing, but rather rely on our inner spiritual feelings. Even if the fever persists, God's power is already at work within us—it is merely a matter of time.

The healing and deliverance school involves two hours of instruction, followed by practice. Then, in the spiritual realm, one begins to be great. When people become mired in methodology, they lose their power. The Pharisees were dogmatic. We must choose to disbelieve dogma and symptoms, and instead, believe in God's power. A sister in our church suffered from a severe cervical spine issue. Through prayer, she was completely healed. Later, at the hospital, the doctors acknowledged that while the issue was still detectable, her cervical spine had fully recovered.

Many people undergo hospital examinations, heed the doctor's advice, and proceed with surgery. One well-known pastor was diagnosed with heart disease. He underwent surgery, but before the wound could fully heal, he was diagnosed with colon cancer, requiring a second operation. The incision could not close properly, causing him significant suffering!

Do Not Walk By Sight, But By Faith

What the eyes see is not necessarily correct, but what is seen from faith is certainly correct. What the eyes see cannot give us the future, but faith can certainly bring us hope. All diseases come from evil spirits, and as long as we rise up to fight, we will surely be victorious! Evil spirits cannot be driven out by surgery; they can be transferred. Cancer metastasis is also an evil spirit.

Seeing a doctor does not come from God but is a tradition. The Bible does not teach people to see a doctor. The Lord Jesus Himself is the greatest doctor. Healing and deliverance is a very simple and elementary work. Sister LQ's father had neck pain. When Sister LQ declared with faith, he prayed for ten minutes and was completely healed. The four Gospels in the Bible are all about faith. If we cannot cast out demons, it is because we do not have faith! Start to be strong and courageous, be determined to cast out demons,放 down all worries, remove all fears, and there will be no defeat!

The statistical result of the mortality rate is one hundred per cent. Coming to Jesus and being healed is also one hundred per cent. It is normal for people to be afraid of leaving this world because we have confusion and realistic values in us. Living to the age of ten or eighty, it seems better to be eighty from a physical point of view. But from a spiritual point of view, our body dies, and the soul goes to heaven, so the result is the same. We can 放 down our worries.

Birth and death are not our decisions. We can choose to live out God's glory in this life. The fear of death itself is the devil's lie. Our faith must be built on a perspective of life and death, so there is no fear. Faith is the faith that is not afraid of death.

If I have an exam tomorrow and I want to bring Sister YY to pray today, I will choose to 放 down the exam, because God can be in control of everything. Then there is no fear and worry, and the effect of service will be obvious. The logical system of the Christian faith is that God is in control, and death cannot control us. The core of healing and deliverance is: We live in eternity, death has nothing to do with us, and we have already won in Jesus Christ!

What is faith? Faith is a choice in the heart, a choice you can make yourself. Autonomy is in oneself.

Message: What is faith? Faith is a choice in the heart, something you can choose. Autonomy is in oneself. Reply: Yes! The Lord Jesus often criticized the disciples for their little faith and unbelief. If it were not a choice of their own, God would not need to criticize us! Many people say that faith is given by God, as if we have no responsibility, which is an extremely wrong view!
@Lamb of Jesus: What is faith? Faith is a choice in the heart, which you can choose yourself. Autonomy is in oneself.
