【Bible Study】1 Samuel Chapter 3 - God did not let any of Samuel's words fall to the ground

2022-07-06 40,935 1 Samuel Faithful Priest Faithful Character Divine Trial God's Will Divine Revelation Scarcity of Words

Introduction

Good day to you all! Let us turn to 1 Samuel, chapter 3. Years ago, when I read this chapter, and later as a pastor leading Bible study on 1 Samuel, a particular sentence struck me like a thunderclap. Which was it? The Lord let none of Samuel's words fall to the ground. (1 Samuel 3:19) Such a statement is truly enviable. Previously, we had a rather passive notion that Samuel was merely a puppet in God's hands, a mouthpiece, simply doing as God said without engaging his mind, without any regard for anything. This presents a bit of a dilemma: Should we be puppets before God, or should we not? After examining the entire Bible, I am certain that God ensuring that none of Samuel's words fell to the ground implies that many of these words were actually Samuel's own.

Let's take this statement as the theme of this chapter: God let none of Samuel's words fall to the ground. In other words, following my old habit, I like to slightly alter it, to put it in my own words: God honors His faithful servant Samuel. Actually, the meaning of the two sentences is quite similar. Later, I became accustomed to using the original words from the Bible as the theme. If I really couldn't find it, I would add one of my own. This is quite interesting. Samuel did not receive revelations from the beginning. In fact, Samuel was ministering before the Lord under Eli, but the word of the Lord was rare; there were not many visions. Whether one is faithful or not is not the important point. What does this illustrate? In the previous chapter, God sought to establish a faithful priest for Himself. Even today, God is still searching in the heavens, on earth, and among men for a faithful person to serve in the priestly office for God.

This priestly office is not about someone coming up like a bossy old man, slapping you on the back and saying, I choose you! From now on, you are my faithful priest. It's not like that! In fact, God had been observing Samuel for a long time. Brothers and sisters, please do not misunderstand. Revelations do not come immediately, nor does one's words never fall to the ground right from the start. There is no such thing. It all comes through repeated examination. It is not easy for God to choose a faithful priest for Himself! This time, God finally found a Samuel.

I tell you, God finds it very difficult to find faithful priests. If you ask me whether it is easy for a business owner to hire workers these days, the answer is no! Among us, are there any small business owners? Hiring an employee is not easy. For a big boss of a large enterprise, hiring an employee is also not easy. Why? Because most of those who are hired are bad. It's not just a matter of ability, but often a matter of attitude. Those who are not faithful in their attitude end up pulling out to do their own thing, specifically nurturing the very person who will oppose them.

How difficult is that? Not easy! There are many such stories in the world. Once, a person was spotted by a big boss, who promoted him step by step to a position second only to himself. What happened? This fellow pulled a group of people to oppose the boss, almost bringing down the big enterprise. Later, the boss was also quite capable and finally managed to bring down this rebellious, unfaithful young man, which was extremely difficult. So, brothers and sisters, you must know that it is very difficult for God to find a faithful priest. It's not that God doesn't want to speak, but that He can't find anyone to speak to. In those days, the word of the Lord was rare; there were not many visions because there was no faithful priest.

The Word of the Lord Was Rare; There Were Not Many Visions

Now the boy Samuel ministered to the Lord before Eli. And the word of the Lord was rare in those days; there was no frequent vision. (1 Samuel 3:1)

The word of the Lord was rare; there were not many visions. Why? Because there was no faithful priest. This subtitle may not be entirely fitting, but that's okay. Why would God let none of Samuel's words fall to the ground? The background is that in a situation where there was no faithful priest, God finally found a Samuel to be a faithful priest. God treasured Samuel, and when Samuel spoke, He could not let his words fall to the ground. This is my faithful servant!

Many years ago, when I read this, I secretly said to God in my heart: God! Have mercy on me, may I be a faithful priest before You! Let none of the words I speak before You fall to the ground. It is very interesting that Samuel later became a prophet. Many times, these words were his own. When did God speak to Samuel? It was after God had examined Samuel and found him to be a faithful man that He spoke to Samuel. Note that God did not first speak to Samuel and then make him a faithful man. God first examines whether a person is faithful. If he is not faithful, it would be troublesome.

Because there was no faithful priest, the word of the Lord was rare and there were not many visions at that time. In this context, if faithful priests were easily found everywhere, they would not be so valuable. Therefore, being a faithful priest is highly regarded in God's eyes. Because it is not easy to find, when one is found, he is treasured. Later, I wondered, if I am not a treasure before God, then what am I? Garbage? It is extremely precious to be a priest who is faithful. At that time, old Eli was the priest, and his sons were serving before God, but there was no faithful priest, and there were not many visions. You say: If we apply this to the church today, would it be the same? It is the same. There are not many who are faithful. Are you faithful to Jesus Christ, or are you not faithful to Jesus Christ? How do we examine this? Doing whatever God tells you to do is not called faithfulness; it's called being a puppet.

Jesus said, Truly, I say to you, there is no one who has left house or wife or brothers or parents or children, for the sake of the kingdom of God, who will not receive many times more in this time, and in the age to come eternal life. (Luke 18:29-30)

I tell you, God examines whether a person is faithful or not; whether you commit yourself to the church is not the most important thing. What is important is that in serving God, which do you value more: serving God or serving your son? Do you understand? Your attitude toward God versus your attitude toward your son, your attitude toward God versus your attitude toward your wife, your attitude toward God versus your attitude toward money—these are what matter. Therefore, the New Testament makes it very clear: If you have left your wife, children, parents, houses, and land for the sake of the kingdom of God, that is the mark of faithfulness.

Today, let's take a closer look. I want to tell you that putting your wife before God and then muttering excuses is very common. Putting anything above God is not called faithfulness. Why didn't old Eli dare to discipline his sons? It wasn't that the children were too old to discipline; in fact, he didn't dare to discipline them when they were young. There is a short video that depicts this: When the child is a few years old, the father pins the child on the bed, telling him to admit his mistakes. Before the child can admit his mistakes, he sees his mother coming in and quickly lets go. The child sees his mother and bursts into tears on the ground. What is the result of the father's actions? The result is that the husband apologizes to his wife. How can that be called faithfulness?

Brothers and sisters, you must know that the standards set by Jesus are higher than those in the Old Testament! A person's faithfulness is seen in small things. Old Eli was not a faithful priest in small matters because his eyesight was failing, and he could not see clearly. Yet, you will find that Samuel was very faithful to an unfaithful priest, an unfaithful boss. Therefore, from this, we see that God tested Samuel not for one or two days, but perhaps for many years.

Over these years, old Eli became the tool for testing Samuel. If it were you, after so many years before old Eli, your superior, your priest, what kind of person would you be? You might feel in your heart that you are faithful to God, but whether God sees you as faithful depends on whether the word of the Lord is rare and whether there are frequent visions. Because people are usually unfaithful but still think they are faithful, what you think of yourself is one thing, and how God sees you is another. If God believes you are faithful, then you are definitely faithful.

The Appearance of Faithfulness

Although there was no faithful priest, God created a very good testing environment. Why do I say this? Because Samuel did not imitate old Eli's unfaithfulness. Old Eli was the superior, the priest. In serving God, he honored old Eli as he honored God. This is the appearance of faithfulness. How did this happen? Old Eli's eyesight was failing, and he could not see clearly. He couldn't get his two sons to come when he called them, so old Eli said, Samuel! Samuel came and said, Here I am. What does this mean? It means that old Eli's eyesight was failing, and he needed Samuel to help him go to the toilet. After old Eli finished using the toilet and came back to lie down, he soon needed to go to the toilet again, and he called Samuel again. Samuel said, Here I am. When he saw that his pants were wet, he changed them for him and took care of him. My guess is definitely reasonable; I could even write a novel about it.

Most people would think, How unlucky! I can't even sleep well. Isn't that annoying? Unfaithful people would say that. Some people take care of their parents to the point where they discern good and evil. Samuel thought, This is my responsibility. I serve old Eli as I serve God. If it were not like this, there would be trouble. One day, it wasn't old Eli who called him, but the Lord Jehovah who called Samuel. He ran to old Eli and said, Master, did you call me? Old Eli said, I didn't call you. As soon as he lay down, he heard Samuel being called again. Maybe the voice was exactly like old Eli's. That's how God tests people. Otherwise, how would he have run to old Eli?

If it were not old Eli's voice, Samuel would have thought, This isn't my master. Who is it? God's voice was similar to old Eli's voice. Isn't that God testing Samuel? Just as he lay down, he was called again, and he rushed to old Eli again. He said exactly the same thing as before. Old Eli said, I didn't call you. It might be God calling you. Next time you are called, tell God, 'Speak, Lord, for your servant is listening.'

Whether a person is faithful or not is not about being faithful to one person and unfaithful to another. The appearance of faithfulness in a person is the sign of a faithful person. I have this kind of faithful character like Samuel. I answer the questions people give me very seriously. I am the best at being a customer service representative. Brothers and sisters, you must know that faithfulness is not about doing this or doing that; it is a faithful character. Faithfulness has a faithful character, and without faithfulness, there is no faithful character. If you are a faithful person, God has chosen you, and God does not let any of your words fall to the ground. That's a great deal! God did not choose me first. God definitely chose many people before me.

One day, I heard about a German named Reinhard Bonnke, who, when he went to Africa for missionary work, held a gathering of 1 million people. The scene was spectacular! God called Reinhard Bonnke. Don't be picky, because God called him because He saw whether he was faithful. As a result, Reinhard Bonnke really went to do it. It was unprecedented and may not be repeated. Later, he said: Actually, God did not choose me first. God chose three people before me. God asked them to go to Africa to preach the gospel, but they all refused to go.” I said: God, you don't need to find a fifth one. Why? Because I will go, and as a result, God's miraculous acts were accomplished.

When I heard this, I said: God, may the fifth, sixth, seventh, and eighth all be faithful people. I believe that God will raise up many faithful servants in this era. If you and I are all faithful people before God, then I think the word of the Lord will not be rare, and the revelation of the Lord will not be lacking. The God we declare in our mouths will accomplish it for us. This is the appearance of faithfulness. It's not that Jehovah says, I am Jehovah, you must listen to me. It's not like that. It's not as if God is a mighty angel standing on two mountains, and you are like a grasshopper below. If you say such words, not many people would not listen. There would be many who would listen.

Brothers and sisters, you must know that faithfulness is a character. We must use all environments to train this faithful character of yours. Are you a faithful person? Do you have the root of discerning good and evil in your bones? Do you have a little temper, a bad habit of picking faults, in your bones? If someone torments you like this, in the middle of the night, Samuel, come here! After you go over, they say, I didn't call you. After a while, you go back and hear, Samuel! You come over again, Did you call me? No, I didn't call you.” Let me tell you, you will definitely scold people. Can you stand that stuff in your bones? Are you playing with me? It's not people playing with people; it's God playing with people! God plays with you so that He can reuse you, so that you can become a priest who is faithful. You are God's favorite; that's incredible.

Therefore, brothers and sisters, start to cultivate a faithful character. A faithful character is very important. After you listen to me, wow! Samuel did a good job. This kid is very capable! That's called being clever. Don't be a foolish person. I ask you, which of the things that we Christians experience is not from God? They are all from God. God knew about those two things in your bones long ago. God deliberately tests you through these environments. Then, after one test, it's over! You say you owe yourself, how much do you owe? Originally, after God tests you, this kid doesn't discern good and evil. You're quite good! Then, add some code for you, and you fail the test after one test. You think crooked as soon as you think about it. So, it is said that Samuel is one of the two great prophets alongside Moses. Think about it, like Samuel, even God does not let your words fall to the ground. That's incredible.

Without Revelation, There Is a Faithful Character

Now Samuel did not yet know the Lord, and the word of the Lord had not yet been revealed to him. (1 Samuel 3:7)

At that time, he had not received it. Samuel himself wrote 1 Samuel. When he wrote 1 Samuel, he did not yet know the Lord, and the word of the Lord had not yet been revealed to him, but he had a faithful character. Among us, we must know that not having a faithful character is a tragedy! Do you understand? That’s how God finds people. That’s how companies recruit people. When you know that a company asks when recruiting people, why did you leave your job? The boss was too bad. I couldn’t do it. That is the end. Don’t even think about it. People don’t want you. It’s all the boss’s problem. Don’t you have any problems?

You know, there is a very powerful person. I often use him as a story to share with everyone. This person has been faithful since he was a child, because he didn't even finish elementary school when he was in his teens, so he went to work in the office, from an office handyman, earning such meagre pay. As a result, because he was faithful, he gradually became the head of the Asia-Pacific region in an American company. A company wanted to poach him, and he said, “Give me a few days. Let me think about it.”

As a result, he went back and said to his boss, “Boss, I have something to tell you.” Why did he want to say it? Because he had previously made a proposal to his boss, but his boss did not adopt it. Then he said: “Boss, a company wants to hire me. His boss said: “If they hire you, go ahead!” He said, No, no, no, I'm not willing to give up. If you approve my plan, I won’t leave. I’ll work here.” His boss said: What do you want? He said, I want so many people and so much money. Give it to me.” As a result, after one approval, he created a lot of profits for the company after half a year, and later he kept rising to very high positions.

I think, brothers and sisters, we often have problems within ourselves. I tell you, your problem is yourself. If you are 10 or 20 years old among us and listen to my lecture, then it will be of great benefit to you. For those who are 40 or 50 years old, it's a bit late to listen to my lecture, but it's not too late. After listening to my lecture, you will know the goodness of faithfulness! So start to develop a faithful character. It’s never too late, no matter how old you are. If you had known me 20 years ago and listened to this, then you would be in good shape.

Didn’t Samuel not yet receive the revelation of the Lord? As a result, this revelation came so suddenly: the Lord God called Samuel again. He went to old Eli the first three times. The fourth time, Samuel said: Speak, Lord, for your servant is listening!” Then this matter is very interesting! Revelation, message, listening to God's voice, here it all comes. Brothers and sisters, have you ever learned to listen to God’s voice? There is also a song called Whispering. Some people think that listening to God’s voice is amazing! As a result, he flew all the way from Singapore to Taiwan, thinking that he would hear God’s voice when he arrived in Taiwan, but he didn’t hear anything after arriving in Taiwan, and he cried to me when he came back.

If you don’t even have faithfulness inside you, what can you hear? You can't hear anything. It's good enough if you don't hear the voice of a ghost. If you want me to teach you, I have a very important trick, which is to be a faithful person. If a person is not faithful, the Lord God does not often have messages, and words are scarce, even if you are a high priest or an old priest, it is useless. Sometimes, I am just a warm face pressed against a cold backside. You know, when I serve, I often make a lot of preparations. What do I prepare for? I prepare for saying that if you encounter such a situation, come to me; if you encounter such a situation, come to me,” but people don't really come to me. Oh! Let me pray for you. Sometimes it seems like it doesn't work very well. Why? I want to tell everyone that I often test people too. In fact, there are many who fail the test in front of me.

What am I testing? I am testing whether people are loyal. I have a very clear calculation in my mind as to who is loyal and who is not. What do I do? When there is something to be done, or when I have something private to say, I look for loyal people. Those who are disloyal, I cannot speak to them, nor can I use them. But the people being tested do not know this. So let me be blunt and tell you this trick: I often test people to see if they are loyal. Whether you are loyal or not is your own destiny; it will absolutely not affect my service to you, but it will affect my view of you. God cannot use those who are disloyal. Therefore, when engaging people, it is about engaging with a person's attitude. What attitude? An attitude of loyalty. I am revealing this bottom line to everyone. I am telling you, you do not know what I am doing. You think I really need your stinky tofu, or that I really need you to work for me. No, I am just testing you.

Someone happily returned with a packed meal. I asked, Hey, why only one portion? The person said, Oh, teacher, this is for you. Please eat it, and I will buy another portion for myself. These words were quite touching. Actually, I would not eat it. I can buy it myself. I am just testing to see the person's reaction. Another person, I served him with great effort. Once, he came to me smelling of buns. He said, Teacher, I went to buy Din Tai Fung buns. Actually, I do not usually eat buns, but today I am just indulging myself. I asked, Then why did you not bring one for me? I just wanted to examine him. Sometimes, I ask someone, Do you want to do this project? Actually, I am just testing him. Even if he really wants to do it, I may not use him!

God's Warning to Samuel

And the Lord said to Samuel: “Behold, I will do something in Israel at which both ears of everyone who hears it will tingle. In that day I will perform against Eli all that I have spoken concerning his house, from beginning to end. For I have told him that I will judge his house forever for the iniquity which he knows, because his sons made themselves vile, and he did not restrain them. And therefore I have sworn to the house of Eli that the iniquity of Eli’s house shall not be atoned for by sacrifice or offering forever.” (1 Samuel 3:11-14)

Samuel was the first to hear this. Do you think his ears did not tingle? Is this being said to Eli? No, it is being said to Samuel. God is telling Samuel: You boy, be careful. Do you see old Eli? Everyone who hears it will tingle. You think it is being said to old Eli? God had already sent someone to say it before. This time, it is being said to Samuel. God wants to tell him: Samuel, I am going to choose you this time. Although after one examination after another, I have found that you are a loyal person, I still need to warn you. Generally, people cannot read this out of the Bible.

When I serve people, I sometimes tell them: So-and-so did this and that, and the result was such and such. He still thinks I am talking about someone else? Actually, I am talking about him. And he is still listening happily. This person has not had his ears tingle; he cannot hear the meaning in the words. Where did I learn this from? I learned it from God. God does this, and I do this too, to find someone loyal. What exactly am I doing? I am just telling you that you all have to practice. When I speak to you, that is speaking to you. I tell you something: everyone who hears it will tingle. If you are not one who hears, then who are you?

Brothers and sisters, you must know that God chose Samuel, but He first gave him a warning. Although Samuel passed this examination, God will continue to examine him. Do you think that God immediately made sure that none of Samuel's words fell to the ground? No. Samuel remembered every day: I must be a loyal person. Everyone, think about it. This is called learning; this learning is very deep. So when you listen to me expound the scriptures, you can become clever. How is it possible not to become clever?

God troubled Samuel several times in the middle of the night, even pretending to be the voice of old Eli, and finally said: Samuel, I am telling you. Do you think Samuel did not understand? Samuel definitely understood. Do you all know what Samuel understood? Actually, Samuel was not very old at that time; he was still a child. How many trials did Samuel go through? He experienced a lot. But later, Samuel's sons were not very good. Why were Samuel's sons not very good? It is not written in the Bible, but I guess this is what happened: Samuel grew up, and old Eli was still alive. It may have been old Eli, or it may have been someone else, who arranged a marriage for Samuel. As a result, this marriage produced several worthless sons. These sons were not very good, almost like old Eli's sons! Samuel would never allow his sons to do the things that old Eli's sons did.

Brothers and sisters, you must know for sure that disciplining your son is your business. Disciplining your son without fear, disciplining him according to your conscience, that is your business. But whether your son can become a person like you, that is his own destiny. If old Eli disciplined his sons severely, but failed to discipline them successfully, then that is okay; God does not blame old Eli. But if you do not discipline them, that is a problem. Although you cannot decide what your son will become in the future, it is your duty to discipline him. Usually, a son follows his mother, so we must know that the story of old Eli is not written for old Eli to hear; it is written for us to hear. Old Eli was afraid of his wife and afraid of his sons, so he could only say a few weak words. Samuel heard this very clearly, so Samuel was a loyal servant before God all his life until his death. This is extraordinary. So God warned Samuel to keep Samuel alert.

Tell It Exactly As God Says

And Samuel lay down until morning, and opened the doors of the house of the Lord. But Samuel was afraid to tell Eli the vision. Then Eli called Samuel and said, “Samuel, my son!” He answered, “Here I am.” And he said, “What is the word that the Lord spoke to you? Please do not hide it from me. God do so to you, and more also, if you hide anything from me of all the things that He said to you.” Then Samuel told him everything, and hid nothing from him. And he said, “It is the Lord. Let Him do what seems good to Him.” (1 Samuel 3:16-18)

You know loyalty is right here. Samuel did this year after year, day after day. As a result, today he opened the doors of the temple, and old Eli asked: What did the Lord say to you? Do not hide it from me. If you hide even one word, may God punish you severely. This is what the Lord God said through old Eli. God is examining: Samuel, are you going to tell old Eli after all? Will you hide anything? I tell you, it is fortunate that you do not often hear the word of God. If you often hear God say: Go, tell your boss what will happen to him in the future, do you have the courage to say it? You may not have the courage to say it.

God deliberately pretended to be the voice of old Eli and troubled Samuel three times, so that old Eli also knew that God was speaking to Samuel. As a result, old Eli came to ask the next day. Samuel thought: God, are you not making things difficult for me? I originally did not dare to tell my master Eli the vision, but as a result, my master asked, and I could not hide a single word. As a result, Samuel told old Eli everything. Wouldn't most people be scolded? Samuel thought: This time I'm done for! Still want to be a loyal priest of God? I'm fired; I don't have to come tomorrow! But old Eli didn't say that. Eli said: Samuel, my son, tell me.

Then Samuel told him everything, and hid nothing from him. And he said, “It is the Lord. Let Him do what seems good to Him.” (1 Samuel 3:18)

This was so unexpected for Samuel! He finally put his heart down. He almost stirred up a hornet's nest and was almost stung black and blue. How God says, do you dare to say it as it is? If you pass on the message, you must pass it on well. God will definitely stand up for you, depending on whether you dare to pass it on. Some people are so bold in order to serve God. Someone went to a company for an interview, and the interviewer asked him, What are your hobbies? He said: Boss, I don't have any hobbies. I just love to pray. What kind of hobby is this? He was fortunate to say it, otherwise the boss would have invited him to Karaoke later, and he would have said he couldn't go. Why can't you go? Because if I go, I can't pray. If I can't pray, God won't bless me, and my performance won't be good. Ah, is that so? Hurry home and pray. What is this all about? It's just so divine, it's a divine thing.

Some people, the boss says, Our company is holding an annual meeting tonight, let's all go. He said: Boss, I can't go today. The boss said: Why can't you go? I have already given this time to God a long time ago, and I can't give it to the company. I agreed with God many years ago that I have to give this day to God. My God can't be offended! Is there really such a thing? We really have it among us. As a result, the boss was so angry that he gritted his teeth, What the heck is this? As a result, he got a raise after half a year, and the boss forgot about it. The boss thinks this employee is so good, he just likes him. Isn't this divine? Can't God control whether your boss likes you? Yes! As a result, he gave him the highest salary increase.

So I say, however God says, you just pass it on as it is. Don't be afraid of anything. Because God can cover the bottom line. Even if you lose this job, God can still let you do other jobs. But don't be overly religious. That's not what we're playing at. What we're playing at is loyalty. This thing of loyalty is amazing. Don't ever think that just because you're a Christian, you can't do your job well. If you can't do your job well, how can you do God's work? If you can't do worldly work well, if it's full of loopholes, if it's awful, how can you do God's work?

If people arrange extra work for you, just do it well. You can still finish it by then. Don't ever get confused about the situation and try to be lazy when you work. If you go to work in the morning and go home in the evening, filling your time to the brim, and you can do ten things, definitely don't only do five. When your boss sees it, This is so good! When it's time for us to serve God, we serve God. I encourage everyone to know that before God establishes you as a prophet, He will often test you.

All Israel Knew That the Lord Had Established Samuel as a Prophet

And all Israel from Dan to Beersheba knew that Samuel had been established as a prophet of the Lord. (1 Samuel 3:20)

How did all Israel know that the Lord had established Samuel as a prophet? Because the Lord God made none of Samuel's words fail! Everyone must know that everyone knew that Samuel was a prophet and often had revelations. With God's revelations, Samuel spread God's word throughout all of Israel, and this word was both good and bad. For example, Samuel said: This kind of person will definitely be punished! The next day, something really happened to that person. Everyone looked at it and thought, Wow, this God is so amazing! Do you think that a prophet declares more good things or more bad things? Have you read the Book of Isaiah? Have you read the Book of Jeremiah? He declares more bad things! Because the people of this world are too bad, God punishes this generation. So true prophets often take great risks to declare to this generation. I often take this risk too. It's not easy!

Our brothers and sisters must know that if God wants to give you a revelation, do you dare to declare it? Suppose you are in Korea, and after you declare it, those pastors join forces to deal with you, how will you live your life? If you offend these people, what will you do? I tell you, to be a prophet, you have to risk your life! People really throw stones! If you declare bad things all day long, like the prophets Isaiah and Jeremiah, it is often not easy! If you want to be a prophet, to be a loyal person, you have to give your life to God. Then God will make none of your words fail.

I really thank God! I once did an experiment, and I was surprised myself. Later, I stopped doing such experiments, lest people say that I am always doing this. Once, a sister from a church came in and said: Teacher, I want to find a job. What kind of job do you want to find? How much is your current salary? The salary is more than two thousand. I said: You should find a job with a salary of more than three thousand five. She really found one. The second time, I did another one. Her original salary was more than two thousand. She asked me how much salary she should look for. I said: Look for more than three thousand five. She found one too. Whether they are loyal is not important. What is important is that after I said these things, God really accomplished them.

Among us, there are also people who earn seven thousand yuan a month in Shenzhen. Can they live on that? There is not much money left over from a salary of seven thousand yuan. Who can you bless? I think you need a blessing the most. Don't become a blessing to others first. Bless yourself first. Later, I said: Change jobs. If he didn't find a job, wouldn't I be stirring up trouble? No trouble. His salary increased a lot. Some I said to look for a job of 15,000, but later the person found a job of 20,000. I underestimated it.

I want to let everyone know that you must be a loyal person before God. If everything you do is unlucky, I tell you, the most important thing is that you are not loyal before God. Everything I do has God's presence, and the words I speak do not fail. It's not about myself, it's about you. I declare again: Those of us who have financial difficulties will also experience God. You will definitely experience God! Those of us who are sick will definitely be healed among us. God will surely accomplish what I have declared! Even if you are paralyzed, you can still get up and walk! You can have such expectations. Why? Because besides me, there are many loyal priests here.

I wish all our brothers and sisters would make up their minds and be a loyal priest before God. If you are a loyal priest, God will test you. Don't drop the ball as soon as you are tested. If you drop the ball as soon as you are tested, God won't want to test you next time, and that will be troublesome. So why be loyal? However God says, we will receive it. However we receive it, we will implement it. From a young age, be a little Samuel. When you are older, be a bigger Samuel. When you grow up and reach adulthood, be an adult Samuel. When you are old, be an old Samuel. God will always appear among us, and God will always reveal His word among us. We will pass on God's word to make everyone in this generation who hears it have their ears tingle.

Thank God! Because God sees that we are loyal, He often makes the words we speak not fail. Thank God for not treating us as puppets! We are not puppets either. We understand God's will in our hearts and be loyal servants before God, acting according to God's will, walking before God, and serving this generation, so that this generation can see God's glory because of us. Amen!

May God bless you all!

1 Samuel Chapter 3

3:1 The boy Samuel ministered before the Lord under Eli. In those days the word of the Lord was rare; there were not many visions.
3:2 One night Eli, whose eyes were becoming so weak that he could barely see, was lying down in his usual place.
3:3 The lamp of God had not yet gone out, and Samuel was lying down in the temple of the Lord, where the ark of God was.
3:4 Then the Lord called Samuel. Samuel answered, “Here I am.”
3:5 And he ran to Eli and said, “Here I am; you called me.” But Eli said, “I did not call; go back and lie down.” So he went and lay down.
3:6 Again the Lord called Samuel, and Samuel got up and went to Eli and said, “Here I am; you called me.” “My son,” Eli said, “I did not call; go back and lie down.”
3:7 Now Samuel did not yet know the Lord: The word of the Lord had not yet been revealed to him.
3:8 A third time the Lord called Samuel, and Samuel got up and went to Eli and said, “Here I am; you called me.” Then Eli realized that the Lord was calling the boy.
3:9 So Eli told Samuel, “Go and lie down, and if he calls you, say, ‘Speak, Lord, for your servant is listening.’” So Samuel went and lay down in his place.
3:10 The Lord came and stood there, calling as at the other times, “Samuel! Samuel!” Then Samuel said, “Speak, for your servant is listening.”
3:11 And the Lord said to Samuel: “See, I am about to do something in Israel that will make the ears of everyone who hears about it tingle.
3:12 At that time I will carry out against Eli everything I spoke against his family—from beginning to end.
3:13 For I told him that I would judge his family forever because of the sin he knew about; his sons made themselves contemptible, and he failed to restrain them.
3:14 Therefore I swore to the house of Eli, ‘The guilt of Eli’s house will never be atoned for by sacrifice or offering.’”
3:15 Samuel lay down until morning and then opened the doors of the house of the Lord. He was afraid to tell Eli the vision.
3:16 But Eli called Samuel and said, “Samuel, my son!” Samuel answered, “Here I am.”
3:17 “What was it he said to you?” Eli pressed him. “Do not hide it from me. May God strike you, may he strike you dead, if you hide from me anything he said to you!”
3:18 So Samuel told him everything, hiding nothing from him. Then Eli said, “He is the Lord; let him do what is good in his eyes.”
3:19 The Lord was with Samuel as he grew up, and he let none of Samuel’s words fall to the ground.
3:20 And all Israel from Dan to Beersheba recognized that Samuel was attested as a prophet of the Lord.
3:21 The Lord continued to appear at Shiloh, and there he revealed himself to Samuel through his word. And Samuel’s word spread throughout all Israel.
