Introduction

Let us continue our study on the theology of victorious warfare. This is the sixth lecture. The topic: "Even the demons submit to us."

In our early days of ministry, when we cast out a demon, my goodness, the excitement was palpable. But why has that excitement faded today? Back then, we were thrilled, thinking we had done something right. Later, we realized it was not our doing at all. It was the Lord Jesus who got it right.

Frankly, I was astonished. Look at ourselves. We were a mess. When our church first embarked on deliverance ministry, we were completely disunited. Can you grasp that? The church was far from victorious. Yet, we had audacious courage. There was a Chinese student in a local school, possessed by a demon due to unrequited love. The police detained her and sent her to a psychiatric ward. While she was waiting for admission, we gathered around her bed and prayed. She was grimacing, looking absolutely hideous. Yet, through prayer, the demon was cast out.

After her admission, the doctors examined her and found no psychiatric illness. She was perfectly normal and discharged. I then arranged a job for her. I told her, "Stop this nonsense of unrequited love. Get a job and live a normal life." But what happened? She could not let it go. She went back to it, even consulting some occult master, chanting spells. Naturally, she ended up back in the psychiatric ward. I went in again, met her in the visitor's room, and cast the demon out once more. I thought to myself, "My, I am quite formidable."

But let me tell you the reality. At that time, the church did not even have a prayer meeting. We were in a pathetic state. We wondered: how could we, in our extreme vulnerability, cast out demons? And these were not minor spirits; they were formidable ones. The truth is simple: God had already won the victory ahead of us. Do you understand? I see people today who are terrified of demons after casting them out, worrying if the demon will retaliate. It is absurd.

I never had such fears, and the demons never bothered us. What amazed me was this: we were so flawed, yet the demons did not destroy us, nor did God wipe us out. Why? Because God had already secured the victory before us. That is the first point. Second, even though we were a mess, God did not destroy us. He is a God of salvation, not destruction. Jesus came to save. So, if you feel inadequate today, rest assured, you are in a much better state than I was back then.

Later, the church went through major upheavals, which forced us to become a praying church. Soon after, the results were staggering. Every sick person we prayed for was healed, one after another. We were astonished. What was this? It was simply the victory that Jesus had already secured for us. Do you see the logic now? God goes before us. Remember, it was not because the Israelites were righteous that God brought them into the Promised Land. No, it was because the inhabitants of that land were utterly corrupt, so God cleared them out and placed the Israelites there.

When I read the Scriptures, I realized there is a profound reason behind this. Look at the twelve disciples Jesus chose. They were a mediocre bunch. Why choose such flawed men? Why not select the cream of the crop—perfect, outstanding individuals who could command the stage? But God’s wisdom is different. I said, "Lord, I thank You. Because You chose such flawed disciples, people as imperfect as us have a chance." If God only recruited top academic scholars, where would that leave the rest of us?

Thank God, He does not select based on academic excellence. He chooses based on His grace, mercy, and our trust in Him. The original twelve disciples were highly flawed. Yet they returned exclaiming, "Lord, even the demons submit to us!" Jesus must have thought, "What is there to gloat about? I had already dispatched legions of angels to clear the path for you." Do you honestly believe that demons flee simply because you utter the name of Jesus? No. When you command them in His name, the heavenly hosts arrest those spirits. The disciples were blind to this spiritual reality.

Then there were the seventy disciples. Scripture does not record any rigorous training for them. What was their preparation? They were forbidden to take money, bags, or spare clothes. No luggage. When they entered a town, if they were welcomed, they were to stay and eat whatever was provided. What kind of training is that? Living off others' hospitality.

If they were rejected, they were to shake the dust off their feet and move on. That was the extent of their training. Off they went. On the road, these seventy disciples must have had their doubts. The twelve disciples—if they had any sense—were also quite ordinary. They probably thought, "If Peter and his lot can do it, why not us?"

Others were hesitant, thinking, "No, we must be cautious. They are the twelve chosen apostles!" In my vocabulary, they were twelve "flawed apostles." Yet, they went. Some were half-hearted, possessing faith no larger than a mustard seed. They went ahead in a daze, yet they were bold. When they cast out demons, to their utter amazement, it worked! They wondered how it could be so effortless.

Suddenly, the realization dawned upon them. It does not matter if I am weak, as long as God is almighty. When the seventy returned, they were ecstatic. I understand their joy; it was exactly how we felt in our early days. When we successfully cast out a demon, we felt an immense sense of significance. We walked with a swagger, like a proud dog on a stroll. Those seventy disciples walked back with that same triumphant swagger, practically bouncing with joy. They had finally found their self-worth.

Even today, some people cast out a demon and shout, "Pastor, we have done something historic!" I understand that feeling completely; we were there years ago. They return boasting, "Lord, even the demons submit to us!" Then the next person shoves him aside, "Get out of the way. Lord, they submitted to me too!" Another pushes forward, "Move aside, let me speak! The demon I cast out was far larger than yours!" They queue up, ranking themselves by the size of the demons they expelled. What folly. Jesus saw right through it. It was God who had won the battle ahead of them. You think you are powerful? You are mistaken.

This is the core thesis of my message. Modern theology has inverted the truth, and we must correct this distortion. Today's theologians treat deliverance as an elite, highly advanced work. They say, "We are not qualified; let us stick to Bible study. You must achieve a high level of holiness to cast out demons." What utter nonsense. That is not what Scripture teaches.

Were the seventy holy? Even the twelve were far from it. Let us be clear. The twelve were flawed, the seventy were worse, and we today are even more deficient. But this has absolutely nothing to do with our flaws. It is about the victory God has already prepared for us. Do you understand? You think you are the initiator, but God has already paved the way.

You walk along, find a hospitable home, and they feed you without you even asking. That is God's provision. You encounter a demon-possessed person—that too is God's setup. You yell, "In the name of Jesus, I bind you!" and the demon flees. God did all the heavy lifting; He merely gave you a cameo role, yet you mistake yourself for the protagonist. The protagonist is our Lord Jesus. You are not the hero here.

God allows you to experience this so you realize the absolute reality of the spiritual realm. It is all orchestrated by Him. Later on, however, you will encounter demons that refuse to leave. We have all experienced this. You wonder, "Why did it work so easily before, but not now?" People ask me, "Pastor, what is the longest deliverance session you've conducted?" The truth is, the longest one is still ongoing today. Why? Because God is training our faith. I have absolute confidence in this. I do not boast about anything else, but I will boast of my faith.

There are fundamental laws governing the spiritual realm. How does a demon gain access to a person? It is invariably linked to a curse. And how does a curse come about? It comes from violating God's word. Violation of God's word is sin. Sin brings a curse, and a curse grants the demon a legal right to inhabit the person's body. This is the legal framework of the spiritual world.

Therefore, in deliverance, the curse must first be cleansed by the blood of Jesus, rendering the sin powerless. Once the sin is dealt with, the demon loses its legal tenancy. It becomes an illegal squatter, and when you command it to leave, it must go. The logic is clear: the individual must repent and desire freedom. If you refuse to let go of your alignment with the demon, deliverance is impossible.

The flesh and worldly value systems are magnets for demonic oppression. We are justified by faith in Jesus Christ. This does not mean you have become perfect overnight; it means God credits righteousness to you because of your faith. Why? To strip the demon of its legal standing. The moment you rely on your own self-righteousness, you lose that standing, and the demon regains its legal right to dwell in you. That is the precise logic.

Why cast out a demon from an unbeliever? A few days ago, a sister called me in the middle of the night. Her ten-year-old nephew was being tormented by a demon and was terrified. I led her in prayer, but the demon did not budge. I found it highly unusual. I asked, "Do his parents believe in the Lord?" She replied, "No, they do not." They knew nothing of repentance.

I told her this was highly dangerous. Even if we cast the demon out, it would return with seven spirits more wicked than itself, leaving the child in a worse state. We would be doing them a disservice. Furthermore, why perform deliverance on someone who does not believe? For minors, the parents are the spiritual source of demonic entry. When people live in the flesh and establish their own righteousness, they invite demonic oppression. Without the covering of Jesus' blood, the legal consequences are absolute.

But if you trust in God, the enemy cannot touch you. It is not because of your moral perfection, but because of His grace. This is what it means: "the righteous shall live by faith." We are made righteous solely through faith. In the Gospels, before Jesus went to the cross, He was already exercising this authority. He was drawing upon His future victory. The ultimate victory was already predetermined. Do you understand this now?

Therefore, let me be absolutely clear with you. It is of paramount importance that we confront the unbelief within us and dismantle the fleshly value system that we harbor. This is precisely why the Lord Jesus asked, "What are you rejoicing about?" Do not rejoice because the demons submit to you—that was My doing, was it not? Rather, rejoice because your names are written in heaven.

Now, let us ask ourselves a fundamental question: Are our names written in heaven? Have they been recorded? If a person believes, what exactly does he believe? He believes the Word of God, not his own opinions. What did the Lord Jesus achieve through His death, burial, and resurrection? He put the flesh to death. We must all walk this path of putting the flesh to death. Do not be astonished by the casting out of demons; that is a straightforward matter. Rejoice instead that your names are written in heaven. This is the theology of victorious warfare.

Scripture

The seventy returned with joy, saying, "Lord, even the demons submit to us in your name!" He said to them, "I watched Satan fall from heaven like lightning. See, I have given you authority to tread on snakes and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy; and nothing will hurt you. Nevertheless, do not rejoice at this, that the spirits submit to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven." (Luke 10:17-20)

Prayer

God, we thank You. We thank You for granting us such authority. Lord Jesus, we thank You for shedding Your blood, sacrificing Your life, dying, being buried, and rising from the dead, thereby securing all authority in heaven, on earth, and under the earth. Today, we thank You for delegating this authority to us, enabling us to tread on snakes and scorpions, to overcome all the power of the enemy, and we thank You that nothing shall by any means hurt us.

Lord, let us come before You today with hearts full of thanksgiving. We praise You and thank You, for You have paved a way of victory for us. We shall not only overcome the devil and the enemy, but also dismantle every lie released by them. Let us not only see demons submit to us, but also, by Your great power, put to death the deeds of the flesh, so that our names are recorded in heaven. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Background of the Scripture

There is an intriguing context to this passage. Luke Chapter 10 begins with the words, "After this." What does "this" refer to? What had actually transpired? Prior to this, the twelve disciples had gone out to cast out demons, and they did a commendable job. Following their mission of healing and deliverance, Jesus showed them something remarkable. What was it? The feeding of the five thousand with five loaves and two fish.

I asked myself: What was Jesus doing here? He was establishing a fundamental reality. He was telling them that while they cast out demons, their daily sustenance was already fully provided for. He eliminated all their anxieties. Let us be clear on this: food, drink, and daily necessities are no longer things to worry about. Survival is actually a very straightforward matter. After feeding them with the five loaves and two fish, He took Peter, John, and James up the mountain, where He was transfigured before them.

There, they opened their eyes and saw Jesus, Moses, and Elijah conversing. Upon seeing this, Peter made a rather foolish proposition to the Lord: "Let us put up three shelters—one for You, one for Moses, and one for Elijah." If you are going to build three, why not build six? How could three possibly suffice? If the three of them had a place to stay, where were the other three disciples supposed to go? It was completely redundant talk.

Yet, the purpose of the Transfiguration was to show them glory. He wanted them to witness the Lord's authority, the miracle of the five loaves and two fish, and the glorious reality of the Transfiguration. And then what? They descended the mountain. Upon descending, they encountered a man severely tormented by a demon, thrashing about. Jesus rebuked the demon. Why? Because His disciples could not cast it out.

Is this not peculiar? Some demons they could cast out, and the twelve disciples were highly pleased with their success. How is it that they suddenly encountered one they could not expel? Jesus lamented, "O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you?" Unbelief was the issue. Why? Let me share what I have learned from this. When deliverance works easily, we rejoice; when it does not, we become utterly dejected. Is that not true? But that is a flawed approach. When it does not work immediately, it is actually a test and training of our faith.

Let me speak to you with absolute candor. Healing the blind or the lame is relatively straightforward. But dismantling the stubborn mental blocks in your minds is extremely difficult. If you are an unbeliever who comes among us with an open heart, healing happens very rapidly. But for those who claim to believe, especially those who have experienced healing and then backslid, it is far more difficult. Why? Because it is incredibly hard to change those rigid mindsets. Do you understand this? Jesus then foretold His death. Later, they saw someone else casting out demons in Jesus' name, and the disciples complained. Jesus replied, "Do not stop him." What did He mean? He meant: what is wrong with having more people casting out demons in My name? This authority was not an exclusive franchise for the immediate disciples; it is readily accessible to many who desire it.

Following this, He appointed seventy others. Jesus observed with great gravity: "The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few." What does this mean? It means vast numbers of people are oppressed by demons; the harvest is indeed plentiful, but those willing to do the work are few. Thus, He sent out seventy. Today, sending seven hundred, seven thousand, or seventy thousand would still not be too many.

And what were His instructions? "Go your way; behold, I am sending you out as lambs in the midst of wolves." This sounds alarming, does it not? You are lambs sent among wolves. Can a lamb sent among wolves ever expect to return? Logically, it is a one-way trip. Yet, how did they return safely? These seventy disciples, lambs among wolves, returned.

They were told to carry no money bag, no knapsack, no sandals, and to greet no one on the road. Whatever house they entered, they were to say, "Peace to this house." If a share of peace was there, their peace would rest on it; if not, it would return to them. They were to remain in the same house, eating and drinking what was provided, for the laborer deserves his wages. They were not to move from house to house.

Whenever they entered a town and its people welcomed them, they were to eat what was set before them, cure the sick who were there, and say, "The kingdom of God has come near to you." But whenever they entered a town and they were not welcomed, they were to go into its streets and say, "Even the dust of your town that clings to our feet, we wipe off in protest against you. Yet know this: the kingdom of God has come near." This was the mandate.

What is the lesson here? Do not worry about the cost; do not bring extra baggage. Why? Because God has not only prepared the targets for deliverance and the authority to deliver them, but He has also pre-arranged your food, your drink, and all your physical needs. The preceding passage about the feeding of the five thousand makes this clear. Do we honestly believe that our food and drink are solely the result of our own labor? No, they are provided by God. God has pre-arranged everything, culminating in the ultimate provision: heavenly glory.

The background of this scripture is about sending them out. What does it mean for lambs to go among wolves? It means that even as a lamb among wolves, the authority in your hands is far superior to the power of the wolves. The wolves cannot defeat the lamb. This is not because the lamb is inherently strong, but because the lamb belongs to God and carries divine authority to tread on snakes and scorpions.

When these disciples went out, they were astonished. They entered homes and were treated to excellent hospitality, akin to staying in a five-star hotel. Their sandals did not wear out, their clothes did not get dirty, and they had free food and lodging. They thought, "My goodness, not only do the demons obey us, but this official trip has been absolutely outstanding!" They traveled without money bags or spare clothes, yet they lacked nothing. The authority they carried was far superior to material wealth. God is indeed good, is He not? So they returned in high spirits. If I were in their shoes, I would have said, "Lord Jesus, what a magnificent trip! No money, no food, no spare clothes, yet everything was provided." Perhaps the seventy disciples did not fully appreciate these material provisions. But the power of casting out demons—where a single command forced the spirits to flee—that was highly visible and exhilarating. Naturally, they were overjoyed.

Jesus' response was profound. He said, "I watched Satan fall from heaven like lightning. See, I have given you authority to tread on snakes and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy; and nothing will hurt you." What a powerful statement. If anything could harm us, I would have been destroyed long ago. If the demons we cast out day in and day out had real power over us, they would have finished me off by now. But they cannot.

In other words, God has handed you the ultimate authority—the imperial sword of heaven—to tread on snakes and scorpions, and to overcome all the power of the enemy. Nothing can harm you. This declaration by the Lord Jesus is of critical importance. It is not because you are perfect. Let me tell you, the religious voices of this generation will tell you that you are not holy enough to cast out demons. If you wait until you are perfectly holy, you will probably be in an urn—that is the only time you are completely incapable of sinning. This truth is highly disruptive to conventional religious thinking.

My brothers and sisters, we must rid ourselves of these stubborn mental blocks. Do not ever think that you must be perfect before you can walk in victory. It is precisely because we are flawed and broken that we need to overcome. It is not because I am good enough that I need victory; it is because I am weak and flawed that I desperately need this authority to overcome. God is marching ahead of us, not lagging behind. He leads us from the front and protects us from the rear.

Cast aside all anxieties. Stop trying to establish your own righteousness, and seek only the righteousness of God. Our God does not bless us because we are perfect; despite our flaws, He bestows these magnificent gifts upon us. He did not merely give us authority; He demonstrated that five loaves and two fish can feed five thousand, and He showed the seventy disciples that they did not need money bags, spare clothes, or suitcases.

You might ask, "Surely they had to pack some spare undergarments?" No, they did not even bring that. Is it proper to wear someone else's? I do not know. But the point is, even the most basic necessities were pre-arranged. Imagine arriving at a stranger's home with absolutely nothing. After a few days, would you not begin to smell? Yet, perhaps the host had just purchased a fresh pack of the exact right size.

Of course, I say this in jest to illustrate a point. The reality is that everything was provided. Do you understand? Everything—food, drink, and daily necessities. Our God is the God who supplies all our needs, our authority, and everything else. This is absolutely marvelous! Satan has already been cast down. Our Lord Jesus died, was buried, and rose from the dead to ascend into heaven. We possess this authority not because we are good, but because our God is good. Our church has survived to this day not because of any great deeds of our own, but because of God's provision. He has already prepared everything for us. So let us get on with the job, shall we?

Therefore, my brothers and sisters, we must grasp the immense weight of Jesus' final words: do not rejoice because the demons submit to you; do not rejoice because people welcome you; do not rejoice because you enjoyed five-star treatment on your journey. Rejoice instead that your names are written in heaven. What a profound statement! Since God has provided everything for us, is it not our duty to offer our entire lives to Him?

Let us dedicate ourselves completely to God. We must no longer live for ourselves, but live entirely for our Lord Jesus! No longer living for self, no longer establishing our own righteousness, no longer inviting demonic oppression, and no longer living by the foolish, fleshly systems of this world. Let us stop being self-righteous and self-justifying. Offer yourselves entirely to Him. My name must be written in heaven!

No matter how much grievance or injustice you suffer, it does not matter. What matters is that your name is written in heaven. These grievances are merely God's training ground to test whether you will fall into the trap of judging good and evil. Thank God, we have already secured this supreme blessing. It is indeed the ultimate portion. If you hold the authority to cast out demons, what else could you possibly lack? Absolutely nothing.

Therefore, conquer yourself today. Remember this hard truth: the carnal mind is hostile to God. To be carnally minded is death. If we indulge the flesh, we invite disaster. The flesh is powerful, and it stands in direct opposition to God. You must rely on the Spirit of God to put to death the deeds of the body and overcome yourself. I once preached a sermon titled "Casting Out Oneself." In the end, after dealing with all kinds of external issues, we must confront ourselves and deal with this body of death. It is a sobering realization, is it not?

You cannot allow your flesh to corrupt you any longer. Stop destroying yourselves. We must act according to the Word of God, not our own preferences. What is the utility of our personal preferences? Absolutely zero. Stop living for yourselves. Live for our Lord. May God begin His work in us, taking every thought captive. By His immense grace, He will bring our minds into obedience to Christ.

Satan Falling Like Lightning from Heaven

This is the foundation. Satan has been defeated. Do you understand? Jesus Christ defeated him. How? Through absolute submission. In the Garden of Gethsemane, Jesus prayed to the Father, His sweat falling like great drops of blood. He said, "Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me." You too have your bitter cup, do you not? But He added, "Nevertheless, not as I will, but as You will." If it is Your will for me to drink it, I will drink it. Left to my own human desires, I would not. But if You command it, I obey. That is victory. Was it bitter? Yes. Was it painful? Yes. Was it hard work? Extremely hard. When Jesus looked at the pathetic state of His twelve disciples, it was agonizing. Walking to the cross was brutal.

Being scourged—was that easy? No, it was agonizing. Every lash tore into His flesh, exposing the bone. Yet, He chose God's will over His own. That is how you crush Satan. How do we achieve victory in this world? It comes through the painful process of putting the flesh to death. Jesus had a physical body, and He put it to death on the cross. It was hard, painful work.

We must pray the same prayer before God: "Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from me. Nevertheless, not my will, but Yours be done." This is what spiritual warfare and victory look like. If you do this, not only will demons submit to you, but your own flesh will also submit. Your spirit will take dominion, and your flesh will be subdued.

Most of our worries and anxieties are trivial, petty matters. Are we arguing over a few pieces of clothing, or a few loaves and fish? Let us put this flesh to death once and for all. If you sow to the flesh, you will reap corruption. But if you walk by the Spirit, victory is guaranteed.

Our Lord Jesus died, was buried, and rose from the dead. If we follow His will and walk the path He paved, we too will live in heavenly realms. For the sake of that glorious destiny—that supreme portion which is to crush Satan—Jesus has opened the way of victory and granted us authority.

Authority Has Been Given to You

The authority Jesus gave to the seventy disciples did not come out of thin air. It came from His victory. We draw upon His victory, and thus we possess this authority. But you cannot bypass putting the deeds of your flesh to death. To be carnally minded is hostility toward God, and Satan loves nothing more than to pamper your flesh. Do you understand this?

If your mind is set on human concerns, you are in trouble. Satan will cater to your self-pity. He loves to make you feel self-righteous, even when you are being ungrateful, shifting blame to everyone else. But authority has been given to you to trample on snakes and scorpions. Why was this authority given? To show us the sheer glory of our calling, our glorious destiny. When the seventy disciples tested this authority, they must have been astonished: "My goodness, this is incredibly powerful!" It drove them to want to overcome and have their names written in heaven. This authority is formidable. We did not earn it because we are good; we received it because God is good. Armed with this imperial sword, we can command the spiritual realm.

In the spiritual realm, defeating high-ranking demonic principalities is as simple as reaching into your pocket. We can overcome every obstacle. Our reputation will spread, for God will make our name great. Our church has built a reputation for healing and deliverance. But let us be clear: our Mingding Doctrine is not merely about deliverance. Our ultimate goal is for every brother and sister to have their names written in heaven. By the Holy Spirit, we trample on snakes and scorpions, releasing the captives and the oppressed. We must also bring our own thoughts into captivity to Christ. That is true victory.

Power to Overcome All the Ability of the Enemy

Where does the devil's power lie? It lies in lies. How many of his lies have you believed? We must stop taking this painful, unnecessary detour. The enemy's power is derived entirely from deception. Take fear, for example. The spirit of fear is weak and easily defeated, yet it whispers a lie, and you surrender. What are you afraid of? You have been given the power to overcome all the ability of the enemy, and that power is found in the Word of God.

How did Jesus defeat Satan? When tempted, Jesus declared, "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God." This is the power that overcomes the enemy. If you know the Word of God and act on it, you will not fall into the trap of judging good and evil, wallowing in self-pity and anxiety.

I was deeply moved recently while listening to 2 Corinthians. The Apostle Paul said we are not ignorant of the devil's schemes. To avoid falling into his traps, Paul used gentleness to win back the Corinthians. He spoke of being the aroma of Christ—to those who are perishing, the aroma of death leading to death; to those who are being saved, the aroma of life leading to life. His words were tactful, yet incredibly heavy.

Do you realize that God has already given us the power to overcome all the ability of the enemy? The enemy's power relies on our flesh and his lies. Since our Lord Jesus has provided everything we need—not just deliverance, but our daily sustenance—what can the devil possibly do to us? Cast aside your anxieties. Stop worrying about trivialities. Often, people sacrifice substance just to save face. What is the point of saving face if you lose your soul? We must destroy the enemy's schemes; his lies have no power over us.

Nothing Shall by Any Means Hurt You

Who can harm you? You are lambs sent among wolves, yet nothing can hurt you. The wolves' teeth cannot touch you, nor can their cunning schemes succeed against you. Why? Because you have been clothed with supreme authority and power. When a wolf sees a tender lamb and charges in to devour it, it is suddenly blocked by an invisible force.

The wolf is baffled: "Why can't I get near this lamb?" Every time it tries, it gets thrown back. The lamb is equally surprised: "I am right here, why don't you bite?" But the wolf is repelled as if hitting a glass shield. That is the power of God protecting you. It gives you victory over the wolf's teeth, its schemes, and all the power of snakes and scorpions. Do you understand this?

Or perhaps it is not a glass shield, but the wolf's jaw suddenly locks and dislocates. Have you ever seen a jaw that cannot close? For God to disarm a wolf is a trivial matter. Do you believe that nothing can harm you? If you believe, you will have peace. Stop trying to protect yourself. Whether at work or anywhere else, do not worry. Simply trust in Jesus Christ.

Let me tell you this: if you actively engage in casting out demons, your professional performance will improve. Recently, a sister who manages online influencers told me, "Pastor, I've been ministering to a sister in my cell group, praying daily to deal with the demons in her life. Surprisingly, the influencers she manages—who used to be highly volatile and prone to mental breakdowns—suddenly became incredibly stable." Nothing can harm you. If you want to excel in your career, deal with the spiritual realm first. Defeat the spiritual enemies, and you will reap the rewards.

Nothing shall by any means hurt you! Stop trying to protect yourself. It is perfectly fine to be a lamb. If God cannot even protect you from these minor threats, then He would not be God. Fear must go; anxiety must depart. Walk boldly on this path of victory, because the God we believe in is a victorious God. Our theology is a theology of victorious warfare, not a reliance on our own strength.

Rejoice Because Your Names Are Written in Heaven

Remember, what is God's ultimate objective? It is not for you to get a cheap thrill from casting out a few demons, nor is it to boost your ego. No. God's objective is to have your name written in heaven. How do you achieve this? By laying down your life. Many of you love to say, "This is who I am. I want to be unique." You might think you are a once-in-a-generation individual, but that is not wisdom. You must deny yourself.

As they walked along the road, a man said to Jesus, "Lord, I will follow You wherever You go." Jesus replied, "Foxes have holes and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head. Will you still follow Me?" To another He said, "Follow Me." But that man replied, "Lord, first let me go and bury my father." Jesus said to him, "Let the dead bury their own dead, but you go and preach the kingdom of God." Still another said, "Lord, I will follow You, but first let me go back and say goodbye to my family." Jesus replied, "No one who puts his hand to the plow and looks back is fit for service in the kingdom of God."

You worry about this and that, constantly anxious about trivialities, never truly living for Jesus Christ. You fail to realize that a successful life requires laying down your own desires. Denying oneself is the key to victory. If you live according to the flesh and establish your own righteousness, you set yourself up for destruction. Yet, God desires to save us. We must rely on the Holy Spirit to convict us, rather than constantly blaming others.

If you waste your energy shifting blame, the consequences will eventually land squarely on your own shoulders. Every piece of blame you try to deflect will return to haunt you. Do you understand? The Son of Man did not come to destroy men's lives, but to save them, so that they should not perish but have eternal life. Therefore, trust in God. Walk the path of faith. Stop living according to your own desires, and live according to the will of God. Amen! May God bless you all!
