Today's Topic: Living by the Word of God!

The third aspect of our four levels of ministry is the Word of God. Today, I will share with you about Living by the Word of God.

What do we live by?

Technology? Work? Money? Connections? Children? Leisure? Exercise? Environmental protection? Hospitals?

Observe those who live by these things. What are the results?

What you live by determines the outcome.

Do not wait until old age to realise what is unreliable!

The only reliable thing is our God!

Today, I will share about living by the Word of God!

Scripture: Matthew 4:4

Mat 4:4 Jesus answered, It is written: 'Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.'

We Have High Expectations Regarding God's Word

We memorise scriptures. We study the Bible. Our brothers and sisters spend a lot of time reading the Bible, organising Bible study materials, and publishing Bible study books. Our brothers and sisters have also started leading Bible studies for those they minister to. We have high expectations. It has to be that way! As Christians, we either receive blessings or endure curses. The title of Christian is not the key; the key is our attitude as Christians.

It has been a while since we read Deuteronomy 28! Let us read it again today.

Deu 28:1 If you fully obey the Lord your God and carefully follow all his commands I give you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations on earth. Deu 28:2 All these blessings will come on you and accompany you if you obey the Lord your God: Deu 28:3 You will be blessed in the city and blessed in the country. Deu 28:4 The fruit of your womb will be blessed, and the crops of your land and the young of your livestock—the calves of your herds and the lambs of your flocks. Deu 28:5 Your basket and your kneading trough will be blessed. Deu 28:6 You will be blessed when you come in and blessed when you go out. Deu 28:7 The Lord will grant that the enemies who rise up against you will be defeated before you. They will come at you from one direction but flee from you in seven. Deu 28:8 The Lord will send a blessing on your barns and on everything you put your hand to. The Lord your God will bless you in the land he is giving you. Deu 28:9 The Lord will establish you as his holy people, as he has sworn to you, if you keep the commands of the Lord your God and walk in obedience to him. Deu 28:10 Then all the peoples on earth will see that you are called by the name of the Lord, and they will fear you. Deu 28:11 The Lord will grant you abundant prosperity—in the fruit of your womb, the young of your livestock and the crops of your ground—in the land he swore to your ancestors to give you. Deu 28:12 The Lord will open the heavens, the storehouse of his bounty, to send rain on your land in season and to bless all the work of your hands. You will lend to many nations but will borrow from none. Deu 28:13 The Lord will make you the head, not the tail. If you pay attention to the commands of the Lord your God that I give you this day and carefully follow them, you will always be at the top, never at the bottom. Deu 28:14 Do not turn aside from any of the commands I give you today, to the right or to the left, following other gods to serve them. Deu 28:15 However, if you do not obey the Lord your God and do not carefully follow all his commands and decrees I am giving you today, all these curses will come on you and overtake you: Deu 28:16 You will be cursed in the city and cursed in the country. Deu 28:17 Your basket and your kneading trough will be cursed. Deu 28:18 The fruit of your womb will be cursed, and the crops of your land, and the calves of your herds and the lambs of your flocks. Deu 28:19 You will be cursed when you come in and cursed when you go out. Deu 28:20 The Lord will send on you curses, confusion and rebuke in everything you put your hand to, until you are destroyed and come to sudden ruin because of the evil you have done in forsaking him. Deu 28:21 The Lord will plague you with diseases until he has destroyed you from the land you are entering to possess. Deu 28:22 The Lord will strike you with wasting disease, with fever and inflammation, with scorching heat and drought, with blight and mildew, which will plague you until you perish. Deu 28:23 The sky over your head will be bronze, the ground beneath you iron. Deu 28:24 The Lord will turn the rain of your country into dust and powder; it will come down from the sky until you are destroyed. Deu 28:25 The Lord will cause you to be defeated before your enemies. You will come at them from one direction but flee from them in seven, and you will become a thing of horror to all the kingdoms on earth.

It has to be that way! I hope all our brothers and sisters are blessed people!

Some live by their work, some by their degrees, and some by their connections. Whatever you live by, you will feel that doing those things is normal, and doing other things is a waste of time. For those of us who live by the Word of God, reading the Bible, praying, and attending meetings are important. It is not a waste of time. But those who live by other things feel it is a waste of time.

Why am I blessed? Because I strive to put God first! I do not live by people, but by God!

If you observe closely, those who believe like me and have high expectations are blessed!

Today, I want to tell everyone that it is not worth saving time on God's Word and serving God!

All of our life's problems are in the Word of God! Especially the discussions about curses and blessings.

God's Word is Living, Powerful, and Can Solve Problems!

The answers to our life's problems are all in God's Word.

I verified this in my mother's life. My mother and father are good parents. They have always had a hope: not to be a burden to their children. Death is not a problem, but they did not want to be bedridden, needing their children's care. They said, Prolonged illness sees no filial piety. That is true. Children may have the intention, but not the ability! Initially, my mother planned, hoping that a child who could take care of her would be by her side. Who knew that the child by her side was not concerned about her, but about her house. Later, she realised that relying on children was not the way!

In recent years, I led my mother to believe in the Lord. In the elderly, I saw that the Word of God is powerful! I also have high expectations of her, often teaching her and rebuking her. But thank God, she is becoming happier and living better! Now, she lives on her own, cooks her own meals, and takes care of herself. Many times, she can even help us, her children. The other day, my mother told me, Son, I will save some money for you and send it to you. You see, living by the Word of God is very effective. Not to mention anything else, just the medical expenses saved are countless! In the years of believing in the Lord properly, compared to before believing in the Lord properly, the medical expenses saved are truly too much!

My mother's good friends, the parents of Brother Wang Xu, have also recently come to believe in the Lord. Their health is getting better and better, and their spirits are getting better and better. In the blink of an eye, many years have passed. I still remember the games we played together when I was a child, like 拱猪. I was ten years old then, and they were forty. In the blink of an eye, they are now fifty and eighty. Fortunately, I knew God and shared the Gospel with them.

Many of us are only children. The problems you face are even greater than mine!

If you don't rely on God's Word, if you don't put God first in our lives, what will you rely on?

The Word of God is living and powerful. God's promises are faithful and we can draw on them. The answers to all of our life's problems are in God's Word. What we read in Deuteronomy 28 earlier was so good!

God's Word includes the words in the Bible, and also the words that He reveals to us at any time.

Because of knowing God, we have all become like prophets and seers!

You must know that reading the Bible, reading it well, and studying together with the church, that is a million-dollar decision! You must have a longing in your heart!

The longing within – the strength of a suckling baby (babies drinking milk. We don't remember it at the time, but if we did, we would know what a longing that is!) Longing for spiritual milk.

When you are sick and cannot eat, those who are healthy love to eat.

If you have no interest in God's Word, you are sick. You need to come and be healed. - Actually, it's not difficult, as long as you don't stiffen your neck and refuse to admit that you are sick, it will be easy. Nothing is impossible with God.

Read God's Word to life, live out the living God, and integrate it into our lives! Why should we do God's Word – living out God's Word, then we will experience it.

Since this is the case, do we still rely on anything else to live? We live by the Word of God.

We Live by the Word of God

Treat the Word of God as a treasure!

Self: Read the Word of God, live out the Word of God, and treat the Word of God as a treasure!

Financial leverage – it can eat up all your wealth! But it can also make you rich – Joseph's 14 years as prime minister.

Opportunity and disaster.

Without prophets and seers. Without God's blessing.

What do we live by? PL's parents, and many others who have experienced God's grace, need to know that people live by the Word of God.

Blessings and curses – God's chosen people!

Attitude – determines everything! - Lack of time is an excuse.

In your life, there will be many times when you need to use God!

Those are all million-dollar decisions! I am anxious watching you burn money.

Carrying the death of Jesus on your body – just die, put down your own little matters, change your entangled attitude, be resolute, and the resurrection power of Jesus will be manifested in you.

What do you live by? How do you know that what you do today can guarantee your future? You only children, you parents of only children, have you heard?

If you get a serious illness and die, it's easy. If you don't die, then it's troublesome!

My mother used to worry about causing trouble for her children, fearing that she would need her children to take care of her and live without dignity. Now she doesn't have to! Because she has me, her son who often rebukes her! To keep her on the right path.

We read God's Word, then we keep it and follow it. That means we must participate in service.

We Know the Word of God in Service

Methods of learning – learning.

A teacher shared with me that schools are now changing their teaching methods – focusing on learning, not on teaching. Learn, do problems, and understand the whole.

That's how I used to learn.

Learn with questions. The experience of a top student.

The service of text ministry - JW – experience, no longer confused.

Use all the opportunities you can. To organize, to put into practice.

To organize a system.

TY – weather forecast, climate observation.

A lot of building materials – chaos, organize a system, a beautiful house.

Passive learning and active learning!

Maps, easily lost – without an overall map.

Without service, you cannot know the Word of God. Don't stay in the stage of being good only to yourself. That in itself is not God's will. You must learn to serve, no problems, no solving problems.

Recently, I encouraged brothers and sisters to summarize your experiences in service, and then I will arrange time to share them with everyone on the stage.

The Word of God is alive. Seeing visions and having the Holy Spirit's moving are all because of service. God will not give it to you to play with. It is for service!

When I serve, I see the problems of my brothers and sisters, I am very anxious and longing, and as a result, God gives me visions and moving.

The problem of not having time: Attitude – determines everything! - Lack of time is an excuse.

We Use the Word of God to Shepherd Those We Lead to Believe

Check Genesis, refer to the Word of God, and in teaching, put the flesh to death – use the characters in the Bible to teach people, instruct people, and rebuke people.

Preach the Word, be ready in season and out of season.

Shepherding: Teaching the Word of God, and through the Word of God, breaking down the flesh!

Service: Rely on God's living Word to release God's power!

Read, learned, organized, taught - how is it possible not to experience blessings? You will definitely experience it! After experiencing it, the teaching becomes alive. The teaching becomes real. Evangelism is also real. Evangelism is truly the Gospel, the sound of blessing!

Saving the time when you are blessed is really not a wise move!

God's chosen people – either blessed or cursed. Those who are not God's chosen people are already living under a curse!

This life and the afterlife are all in this Gospel!

God wants us to share in the benefits of the Gospel!

It's not a method, it's God's leading! It is God's own constant leading.

The Holy Spirit leads us into all truth.

The Word of God is the foundation, and the revealed Word of God is even more the foundation.

Looking back at the history of the church – God is guiding everything. See what God is doing and follow Him.
