Introduction

Good day, everyone. Today, we proceed with the sixth sermon in our series on Grace and Truth. This series is of great value; it has once again unlocked the gates of healing and deliverance, setting many brothers and sisters free. The subject before us this week is: "What is Truth?" Down through the generations, men have raised this lament, beset by confusion and doubt: What, in the final analysis, is truth?

Some strive relentlessly to build commercial empires on this earth. Yet in doing so, they run up trillions in debt—astronomical figures. Look around today: half-built, abandoned developments are everywhere. Millions of citizens continue to service mortgages for homes they cannot occupy, causing widespread distress. The tycoon siphons off his wealth to his wife and children; the wife promptly divorces him to divide the assets. After all this scheming, where does he end up? In prison.

Lying in his cell, he interrogates himself—almost composing his own Tianwen ("Questions to Heaven"). Who wrote Tianwen? Qu Yuan, who ultimately drowned himself in the river. Look at the turmoil and confusion in the human mind. Others, full of hubris and ambition, assumed supremacy was within their grasp. Instead of reaching the top, they landed behind bars.

And what do they do in prison? "Give me pen and paper; I shall write a Questions to Heaven." Others retort: "Do not bother. Qu Yuan has already written that. You had better write Questions to the Earth." Questioning the stars, the moon, the sun, heaven, and earth—utterly bewildered as to what their lives were about. Have you not felt this void?

Consider others who finish singing karaoke, drink with their associates, and indulge in empty talk. But when the revelry ends and they return home, lying on their beds staring at the ceiling, they are gripped by an acute sense of emptiness and disorientation. Before I came to know Jesus Christ, my own heart was perpetually unsettled—never at peace. Once I came to faith in the Lord, everything changed; my heart finally touched solid ground, completely at rest.

Prior to believing in Christ, I had a bad habit of constantly gasping for deep breaths. People assumed I suffered from respiratory distress. I always felt the air reached only halfway down to my heart and could go no further, forcing me to gasp desperately. After accepting Christ, that affliction disappeared. I was at peace.

I soon realised that vast numbers of people in this world live in sheer confusion. They ask: What is truth? What is it, really? When I speak of this, many type in their responses: "Teacher, I experienced the exact same thing." That is the hard reality: without truth, a man does not know what living is about. It is a miserable state.

Not long ago, I saw a video of a woman in her thirties suffering from heart failure. She had two children and was married to an intellectually disabled husband. As she was breathing her last, the family recorded the entire ordeal and posted it online. It was tragic. An intellectually disabled father left with two young children—how are they to survive? Total misery.

Where, then, is the way forward for man? Jesus said: "I am the way, the truth, and the life." He truly is the way, the truth, and the life; He anchors our hearts. Once a man knows Jesus Christ, living becomes remarkably straightforward. A sister typed: "Before coming to the Mingding Doctrine, that was my life—I was a believer, yet lived in perpetual anxiety." She had faith in name, but she did not truly know God.

Today, the foundational maxim of the Chinese Mingding Doctrine is this: Emulate Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; pass on the heritage of Jesus Christ and the Apostle Paul. Once a person knows Jesus Christ, he walks a glorious path filled with truth. The pursuit of truth has no end. It is a path of life, not of destruction. Living in this world, one is filled with hope, vitality, and joy—emulating Jesus Christ and knowing precisely why one lives.

Sometimes I observe with deep lament: we had a sister among us who also raised a child with intellectual disabilities. She married, divorced, and sought to remarry. The suitor introduced to her was also intellectually disabled. My goodness, do they think they are breeding livestock? Living in deception, walking straight into tragedy without even realising it.

That is not the truth, the way, and the life of Jesus Christ; that is simply the default tragedy of human existence. What, then, is truth? Truth is Jesus Christ! By performing concrete acts, Jesus unveiled the reality of the spiritual realm before our eyes. The man born blind was healed.

You cannot comprehend this through worldly lenses. Through His omnipotence and the power of the Holy Spirit, Jesus demonstrated the reality of the spirit world. Jesus Christ exposes the hidden motives of the human heart. He was appointed to bring the secrets of men to light, to expose and destroy the works of the devil, and to bestow grace upon us.

Jesus Christ came into this world, was born for this purpose, died for this purpose, and rose again for this purpose—to bear witness to this truth. On this matter of bearing witness to truth, I have much to say. When you read the Scriptures and see Jesus witnessing to the truth, examine it carefully: the Bible is packed with evidence. Jesus came to testify to the truth, demonstrating the spiritual realities governing our existence.

To this very day, let me be blunt: depression is a demon, a demonic oppression; cancer is a demon; blindness is rooted in a demon. Humanity is ignorant of this. Thus, Jesus Christ came to bear witness to the truth. These are weighty matters.

Recently in Christian theological circles—particularly among the Chinese—there have been endless disputes. One pastor refutes another, another responds, and they engage in endless scholastic infighting. They argue over what is called the "New Perspective on Paul." Not the "novel coronavirus," but a new perspective. Then they lecture on the "Gospel of the Kingdom," which makes no practical sense to me.

I asked myself: what are they actually bickering about? I picked up their books to read. My goodness, it was unintelligible! A mountain of grand academic jargon written by theologians. I have read such materials before; they only leave one thoroughly confused. Their explanations are more convoluted and impenetrable than the words of Jesus Himself. I say: drop it. We have no use for this stuff. I cannot tell what they are talking about beneath all those big words.

In my mind, there is one non-negotiable principle: truth must be demonstrable. If I claim to master aeronautical engineering and know how to build an aircraft, the plane must actually fly. If you cannot build it and merely fold a paper airplane, can you call that an aircraft? It is just a piece of paper. Truth is proven by demonstration. The Apostle Paul made it plain:

"My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power, so that your faith might not rest on human wisdom, but on God’s power." (1 Corinthians 2:4–5)

If you genuinely think you are capable, here is my challenge: take these truths and demonstrate them to me. If you cannot produce results, you had better step aside; do not delude yourself into thinking you are impressive. Why are our teachings practical and solid? Because they are validated by results.

I believe that no matter how many promises God has made in the Scriptures, they are faithful and true. Therefore, in our ministry, people are delivered one after another, demonstrating clear outcomes. We witness through the power of the Holy Spirit that Jesus Christ is God, that He rose from the dead, and that He is our Lord and Saviour. Only what is demonstrated counts.

Truth represents the governing laws of the spiritual realm. Why are people so confused? Qin Shi Huang was deeply perplexed; mortality caught up with him. He lived into his fifties, commanded immense power, unified China, and his general Wang Jian swept across the entire nation down to Guangdong, Guangxi, and Yunnan. Tremendous power, yet he remained utterly bewildered. Lacking the truth, he died a miserable death.

We must understand the laws of the spiritual realm. Let me put it to you straight: spiritual matters govern the affairs of our physical existence. If you master the laws of the spiritual realm, managing earthly life becomes simple. Our physical life is merely a shadow.

Take a concrete example: click on a laser pointer, and a red dot appears on the wall. If I tell you to catch that red dot, can you do it? With the slightest flick of my wrist, you cannot catch it; even a cat cannot catch it. If that dot is manipulated by a demon holding a laser, you will be run around in circles. You must master spiritual laws.

The words Jesus spoke are spirit and life; He spoke of spiritual realities. These laws work; therefore, they can be put into practice. Only what works can be executed; it is reproducible and dependable. If you attempt to prove that Jesus Christ is Lord purely through theoretical debates, you will fail. The Bible never relies on pure abstraction.

It is not that I oppose the Trinity, but reading their scholastic treatises only made me more bewildered. To this day, I have never made sense of their theoretical formulations of the Trinity. The New Testament speaks with absolute clarity: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Finished. What on earth is this scholastic construct of the Trinity? I could not understand their writings. Perhaps it is my limitation, but it is equally probable that they failed to articulate it clearly.

If one is truly competent, let him adhere to the words of the Apostle Paul: "My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power, so that your faith might not rest on human wisdom, but on God’s power." (1 Corinthians 2:4–5)

There are several fundamental laws in the spiritual realm: First, the spirit realm is real. Second, we require God's grace, because on your own, you cannot handle the demonic forces of the spirit realm. How do we draw upon God's grace? By faith. Faith alone is the foundation.

In the Scriptures, Jesus spoke of nothing else so consistently as faith. I believe, and then I lay hold of grace—this is truth. We must continually advance in grace and truth to know God. We must wage warfare within grace to practice God's truth. Every battle, every blow dealt to the demonic enemy, relies on God's Word and God's truth, thereby verifying this truth. That is how it should be.

God's purpose is to establish a victorious church; the church is God's army. Winning the battle is the definitive demonstration of faith. So stop boasting with nonsense like: "I saw Jesus yesterday," or "I went up to heaven yesterday." Well, I am glad you managed to return. "Yesterday I took a stroll in hell"—thank God you came back.

I ask: do you have photographs? Did you bring your mobile phone? No. Such posturing is meaningless. If you can ascend to heaven, can you deliver a few bound souls here on earth? It laments me that these people deliver no one—they cannot even deliver themselves—yet they think they are extraordinary. In my view, only what you demonstrate in practice counts! Not merely acting like a "good person," but exercising God's Word, God's authority, and God's omnipotence.

Do you understand what truth fundamentally is? It is the great salvation that Jesus Christ accomplished for us—magnificent! For this He was born; for this He came into the world; for this He died and rose again; and for this He opened the door of destiny for us. We too are born for this, live for this, die for this, and ultimately rise together with Jesus Christ. Therefore, brothers and sisters, stand firm and be strong once more.

Recently, a junior pastor among us was ministering to a sister who was severely oppressed by the spirit of Old Horse. Her experience mirrored mine: as she ministered, Old Horse manifested and spoke through the person. Let me tell you, to strike Old Horse until it manifests requires real spiritual power. That is accomplished by truth!

We have another sister who was frequently harassed by a demon. Lying in bed, she would scream, make involuntary noises, and her body would twitch. She rose in the middle of the night to wage spiritual warfare, fighting relentlessly—relying on the truth! Relying on the truth revealed and verified by Jesus Christ. Man does not live on bread alone, nor by sleep, nor by medication, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.

Jesus said, “My kingdom is not of this world. If it were, my servants would fight to prevent my arrest by the Jewish leaders. But now my kingdom is from another place.” “You are a king, then!” said Pilate. Jesus answered, “You say that I am a king. In fact, the reason I was born and came into the world is to testify to the truth. Everyone on the side of truth listens to me.” “What is truth?” retorted Pilate. With this he went out again to the Jews gathered there and said, “I find no basis for a charge against him.” (John 18:36–38)

Prayer

O God, Your kingdom is not of this world, nor is ours. Your hope does not rest in this world, nor does ours. Lord, our kingdom is the Kingdom of God; we do not belong to this world. God, raise us up in this generation to emulate You, so that we may lay hold of the truth and testify to the truth. Empower us by the Holy Spirit, relying not on wise and persuasive words, but on the demonstration of the Spirit's power, to make Your truth manifest to all. Amen.

Lord, we have come into this world to bear witness to Your truth. We are here to testify for You, so that men may know that Jesus Christ is risen from the dead. Let them see the boundless glory within You, and the immense grace and truth You bestow. Through the way, the truth, and the life You have revealed, deliver us from the lies within ourselves.

In the name of Jesus Christ, and by His power, let us relentlessly trample upon the devil and our spiritual enemies in this world and in the spiritual realm, achieving total victory. Let us build Your glorious church until the day we see Your face. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

The Context of the Scripture

This passage records the arrest and trial of Jesus Christ, capturing the varied reactions of the people of that generation. The most famous among them is Pilate’s question: "What is truth?" This was spoken by a Roman prefect—the provincial governor appointed to administer the territory.

Pilate was an imperial administrator dispatched by the Roman Empire to govern Palestine—the land of Israel. He was a man who had steadily climbed the political ladder. While we do not know every detail of his ascent, rising through the ranks of the Roman administration was undoubtedly a ruthless and complex affair.

He was an exceptional and capable operator to have reached the rank of governor in his thirties or forties, with proven military command. Yet, when confronted with Jesus Christ, he was completely out of his depth. He questioned Jesus: "What is the accusation against you? Are you the King of the Jews? Your own nation and chief priests handed you over to me. What have you done?"

Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so that I should not be delivered to the Jews; but now My kingdom is not from here.” (John 18:36) Where was this man from? Did he drop in from another planet? Pilate was utterly bewildered.

Remember, Pilate’s wife had already heard of Jesus Christ. As recorded in other Gospels, she warned her husband: "Have nothing to do with this matter. Leave Him alone. This is an extraordinary man; He comes from heaven."

Hearing that this man came from heaven only deepened Pilate's confusion. Pilate therefore said to Him, “Are You a king then?” Jesus answered, “You say rightly that I am a king. For this cause I was born, and for this cause I have come into the world, that I should bear witness to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth hears My voice.” (John 18:37)

Let me tell you, Pilate’s wife had likely seen His miracles or known His reputation firsthand. Jesus had been ministering publicly across the region for a long time, and Pilate was not new to his post. Word had spread everywhere.

Everything Jesus did made headline news. People on every street corner were talking about Him. Yet they failed to understand what He did, what He said, or what He taught daily in the temple. When Pilate heard Jesus speak, he connected it with what his wife had shared.

"I find no crime in this man. He made the blind see and the lame walk—where is the wrongdoing in that? It is an extraordinary feat. Why, then, have His own people arrested Him?" And then this remarkable man declares: "I came into this world precisely to be seized and killed." Pilate was confounded, because his entire mind was consumed with preserving his political office and protecting his position.

When a man is obsessed with political survival, and suddenly encounters an absolute anomaly who operates entirely outside this world, he cannot comprehend it. Let me share a brief episode. Near my office, there was an elderly gentleman who often dropped by to chat, and I would share testimonies with him.

One day, he brought an old fortune-teller from a temple into my office. I asked, "Why bring him here?" He said, "Sort him out." Then he told the fortune-teller, "This man is remarkable. Go to him, let him pray for you, and your legs will be healed." The fortune-teller’s legs were practically locked rigid; he could only shuffle forward a few centimeters at a time with immense agony.

When introducing me, he said, "This man exists beyond the five elements and outside the three mundane realms." I had never heard such terminology before. But it struck me: Jesus truly operated entirely outside worldly categories and earthly systems.

Consider this: ordinary men spend their entire lives chasing government posts and pursuing wealth. Even the High Priest of that day was engaged in petty worldly maneuvering, living merely for survival.

Jesus was fundamentally different. He stated plainly that His kingdom was not of this world. If it were, His servants would have fought for Him.

So Pilate asked: "What is truth?" Governance is a grueling business; every day is spent calculating risks. If you are in administration, you know the political game is complex, filled with unpredictable variables and uncertainties.

Pilate, too, wanted to know the bottom line: what is truth?

The reality is that there exists another realm: the Kingdom of God. That is why we seek first God's kingdom and His righteousness. The Kingdom of God is a spiritual reality, a higher dimension. When human beings operate only on a low, fleshly dimension, spiritual matters sound like mere superstition.

Yet Jesus came precisely to bear witness to the truths of the spiritual realm. The way He bore witness is the very way we must testify. Jesus demonstrated through the power of the Holy Spirit that He is the Son of God, systematically unveiling the realities of the spiritual realm.

Take a man born blind—contemporary medicine could do nothing for him. Take a man born lame—medicine was useless. Yet Jesus healed them instantly. People were baffled. Why? Because blindness has spiritual roots, and in the spiritual realm, Jesus holds supreme authority. He was validating the spiritual laws that govern reality.

This ought to open our minds. Poverty has a spiritual dimension; illness has a spiritual dimension. Demonic forces gain entry when people accept deception. When you grasp the truth, the clarity is immense. Scripture shows us the sheer helplessness of living purely in the flesh, confined to a low dimension.

If we live according to the flesh, we are condemned to groaning, toil, and frustration. How was this demonstrated? The night before, Jesus told Peter: "Before the rooster crows, you will deny Me three times." Peter protested. Yet when Jesus was arrested, Peter followed at a distance. When others entered the courtyard, he followed inside.

He genuinely possessed the desire to die for Jesus—you cannot deny his sincerity. Yet when confronted, "You were with Jesus," he said, "I am not." He looked at Jesus. When asked again, he repeated, "I am not."

Why does this happen? Jesus revealed the underlying truth: the spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak. We are often trapped in this internal contradiction. How do you resolve it? Only when the Spirit of Truth enters you and empowers you.

When you are weak, the Holy Spirit becomes your strength.

The logic of the flesh and of this present life is fundamentally opposed to the logic of the Kingdom of God. What is truth? Truth is that by the flesh, man can achieve nothing; therefore, Jesus Christ died in our place.

Even Caiaphas, the High Priest, inadvertently prophesied that it was expedient for one man to die for the people. Crowds of five thousand and ten thousand gathered around Jesus. Did they care about spiritual laws? No. They wanted Him to lead a revolt to overthrow the Roman Empire.

Look at the massive divergence in thinking. The masses wanted a political uprising, but Jesus had no interest in that. Had they rebelled, the carnage under the Roman Empire—then at the peak of its military power—would have been catastrophic. So the High Priest calculated in worldly terms: "Better one man die for the people." He was analyzing the situation on a low, mundane level.

Yet Jesus' purpose was precisely to lay down His life. Caiaphas was merely an unwitting instrument, bringing a generational curse upon himself. Christ dying for all of us is the supreme act of grace. It reveals spiritual truth and exposes the tragic helplessness of life lived in the flesh.

Earthly kingdoms are fraught with internal friction, and living in the flesh is inherently frustrating. But Jesus Christ reigns as the true King of heaven. This is the truth. The Apostle John wrote this account so that men would know that Jesus Christ is indeed the Way, the Truth, and the Life.

Jesus was not playing games. He was born, He lived, and He died for this purpose: to achieve an eternal and incomparable glory, confronting every false philosophy that arose to oppose Him.

Truth 1: The Kingdom of God is Not of This World

This world is fundamentally broken. If you observe carefully, human life here is largely spent chasing after the wind. But the Kingdom of God is entirely different. It does not belong to this world; it is destined to break into this world.

Here is the earthly realm, and there is the Kingdom of God. Will there be conflict between them? Inevitably.

What is this conflict? The kingdoms of this world belong to the devil and are corrupt. If you want to rescue and liberate people from the devil's domain, you must fight—and the battle is spiritual. The Kingdom of God and this world operate on two completely different value systems, two conflicting operating logics.

What logic governs your mind today? The moment a person speaks, his operating system is revealed. A person's physical ailments often mirror the mental knots in his thinking. Is what fills your mind drawn from this world, or from the Kingdom of God?

When we minister to the sick to set them free, the reality becomes glaringly obvious: their minds are saturated with worldly logic. If you believe this earthly system is your home, how can you enter the Kingdom of God? What does it mean for the Kingdom of God to come? It means the logic and governance of God's Kingdom take over your inner life.

Do not assume that merely erecting a church building equals establishing the Kingdom of God. It depends entirely on whether the operating logic within that church is of God or of the world. Many churches degenerate over time into worldly institutions.

Temples belong to the spiritual realm, yet some commercialize them, package them, and list them on the stock exchange. It is absurd: the deities they claim to serve must shudder, and eventually the abbots find themselves packaged off to prison. The spiritual realm has its own strict laws.

The Kingdom of God belongs to the spiritual realm, not to this world. We must ensure this world has no claim or foothold in us. Can you make a clean break with it?

Let me tell you, brothers and sisters: demons gain access precisely because our minds are cluttered with worldly baggage. We must seize back those worldly ideas, cast them out, and establish God's Kingdom and His truth within us.

The Apostle Paul did not require endless deliverance sessions with dramatic screaming. Why? Because his entire being was surrendered to Christ: "It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me."

If you want to win this war, purge the worldly logic from your mind. Lay hold of the logic of God's Kingdom and instill it within you. That is how we systematically reclaim lost ground.

Truth 2: Bearing Witness to the Truth

What testimony do you have today? Sometimes I speak very bluntly. Why? Someone says to me, "Pastor, look at me, I am doing quite well." I ask: "In what way are you doing well? Where is the evidence? What have you actually accomplished? Whom have you delivered? Whom have you snatched back from the clutches of the devil? What have you done? Have you borne witness to the truth?"

"Look at me, I was promoted three levels recently in my company." Three promotions—you call that a testimony? I do not consider that bearing witness to the truth. At best, that is merely receiving a bit of favor, a modest touch of grace. Bearing witness to the truth—let me repeat a verse. I have not spoken on it much recently, but it is of utmost importance: "My speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God" (1 Corinthians 2:4–5).

Let me tell you: when we struggle and fail to drive out a demon, it is because our understanding of the demon is deficient, and our understanding of God’s Word is inadequate. Through the Word of God, we come to understand: why does this demon hold such a secure grip on a person? Because lies have taken root inside him. The moment we plant the truth and eradicate the lie, that person is swiftly delivered.

Once delivered, a person gains freedom, and that becomes a real testimony. The truth works. Every time I scale higher spiritual ground, it takes place in the very process of bearing witness to the truth. Why be so anxious? Once during ministry, I noticed a constant, restless anxiety inside an individual.

I realized: this is a demon of anxiety. The moment I drove out that demon of anxiety, the feeling vanished. Isn't that remarkable? It turns out anxiety was the work of a demon. Once it was cast out, I stood on God's Word. What does God's truth declare?

"For thus says the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel: 'In returning and rest you shall be saved; in quietness and confidence shall be your strength'" (Isaiah 30:15).

Truth 3: The Spirit Is Willing, but the Flesh Is Weak

Peter is a very interesting figure—blunt, outspoken, direct. Jesus asked: "Who do you say I am?" He answered: "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God." Then Jesus said: "I must go to Jerusalem and die." Peter immediately objected: "Far be it from You, Lord!" What did Jesus say? "Get behind Me, Satan! You are not mindful of the things of God, but the things of men."

Look at Peter: a paradox. On the one hand, a "Satan" mindful only of human interests; on the other, the very Peter who confesses Jesus Christ as Lord. Extraordinary, isn't it? This same Peter genuinely intended to die for Jesus Christ; he had the resolve.

Yet when people pointed at him and said, "You were with Jesus," he denied it: "No, not me!" Three times he denied his Lord! What is the lesson here? Before the crucifixion, a fundamental truth was demonstrated: we too live in this conflicted state; we are all Peters, large and small.

The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak. What do you think God’s truth is designed for? It exists precisely to resolve this problem. God is not intimidated by your weakness. What God rejects is your refusal to believe, your failure to receive by faith. How did the Holy Spirit come? Jesus died, was buried, rose again, ascended into heaven, and poured out the promised Holy Spirit to deal with the weakness of the flesh.

Recently, we made a crucial realignment: putting the deeds of the flesh to death must be executed by the Holy Spirit. It is not about me trying to crush your flesh, or you trying to crush mine. Leave it to the Holy Spirit. If I try to mortify your flesh, it creates friction, conflict, and misery. In the end, we simply align with the Holy Spirit and follow His lead.

The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak. The Spirit of God came precisely to resolve the problem of the flesh. Sin was condemned in the flesh. Jesus Christ became our propitiation—this is the reality behind the Holy Communion we partake in.

The blood of Jesus Christ and the body of Jesus Christ empower us, through the Holy Spirit, to put to death the misdeeds of the flesh. The Kingdom of God and the flesh are diametrically opposed. The Kingdom of God is a spiritual reality, constantly manifesting its power to bear witness to the truth.

Truth 4: Jesus Died for All

Living in the weakness of the flesh means being indebted to the flesh. But because Jesus Christ died for all, we are no longer debtors to the flesh. Jesus died for all, exactly as Isaiah prophesied: "Surely He has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed Him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed" (Isaiah 53:4–5).

He died for all, shedding His blood. But it did not stop at His death. Jesus was sentenced to death, flogged, and crucified—that was His deliberate mission. The Son of God became flesh and entered this world to unveil the spiritual realm before our eyes.

Having revealed it, He could have ascended immediately, but He did not. He chose to suffer, die, be buried, rise from the dead, and ascend, precisely to resolve our internal brokenness. Therefore, brothers and sisters, when you are casting out a demon and it stubbornly resists, you proclaim: "Jesus Christ has died, Jesus Christ is risen, and Jesus Christ will return!" That carries absolute power!

He paid the full price for us. Deliverance does not depend on our achieving perfection; we can be delivered anytime, anywhere. The salvation accomplished by Jesus Christ—bearing the stripes, nailed to the cross—bore our transgressions and removed our curses. The devil's presence becomes entirely illegal, instantly! Drive it out!

Jesus accomplished two decisive things: first, concerning demons, He drove them out; second, concerning sin, He subdued it. Jesus Christ resolved what could not be resolved in the days of Adam, Eve, Cain, and Abel: conquering the sin within us.

Has it been subdued or not? Through the Holy Spirit, we can certainly subdue it. Through the Lord Jesus who loves us, we are more than conquerors. This victory is certain. It does not depend on whether you are anxious or calm; it is one hundred percent certain. I believe this firmly. I have cast out countless demons and resolved countless crises. After every ministry, my heart is filled with profound gratitude.

If Jesus had not died for us, where would we obtain such grace? Some believers hold onto flawed logic. They think they are indispensable, and having inflated their own worth, they try to bargain for the grace of Jesus Christ. You cannot bargain for it. What could you possibly offer in exchange for the life and death of Jesus Christ? While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

He did not die for you because you became righteous; He died for you while you were still a sinner, to liberate you from death. Here God's love is demonstrated. By this very love, we are more than conquerors. When you face demons in the future, whatever they may be, stand firm in the Lord Jesus who loves us. Know that God is a God of love, not a ruthless taskmaster. Full of grace and truth—that is Jesus Christ.

Truth 5: Jesus Christ Is King

Jesus Christ is King; Jesus Christ is Savior; Jesus Christ reigns forever. His death and resurrection are absolute truth. Make no mistake: Jesus Christ has already triumphed and reigns as King. People on earth may be blind to it, but in the spiritual realm, He possesses supreme authority. Before I came to faith, I operated on very straightforward, practical logic.

My mother once consulted a spirit medium through my cousin’s wife. This medium came to our home and told my mother that our ancestors worshipped a certain spirit. My mother brought that entity into our home to worship. Our house was small, so she set it up behind a dark curtain in a corner. After some time of worshipping it, my sister developed severe, manic mental illness. It was terrifying.

My parents reasoned: things were fine before worshipping it, but worshipping it brought disaster. So they swept the whole thing into the garbage. My conclusion was simple: if you are going to worship anything, do not waste your time on some petty, minor spirit. It cannot handle most problems, so why bother with it? In the spiritual realm, it is a nonentity. It protects me? Who protects it? I want no part of that.

Later, why did I believe in the Lord? I wanted to find the supreme God in heaven and earth, the most powerful God. Then I saw that Jesus Christ is all-powerful. Out of nowhere, I walked into a church—a church that actively cast out demons. In the whole of Singapore, there was only that one deliverance church, and I walked right into it. Was the Spirit of God guiding me? Undoubtedly. This was real power; every demon could be driven out! Jesus Christ is King.

Let me tell you: if you know Jesus Christ in this universe, He is your Lord, your Savior, and your King. Supreme and absolute. Having cast out so many demons, what can they do to me? My Lord is the King of Heaven. Let them try challenging the King of Heaven! It works. It is not like that useless idol my parents got through my relative.

Truth 10: Not One Shall Be Lost

"That the saying might be fulfilled which He spoke, 'Of those whom You gave Me I have lost none'" (John 18:9).

This statement is of paramount importance. There is a vital principle here. Suppose not all were healed—suppose only 99% were healed. Do you know what would happen? If the Bible stated that 99% are healed and 1% are not, everyone would assume they belong to that 1%. The result? Everyone falls into despair, and the whole system collapses.

But when it says all are healed, what tremendous confidence that imparts! Mankind desperately needs such rock-solid promises from God. This is an ironclad promise: all are healed. And beyond that: "Not one shall be lost." Many people fret: "Am I too weak? Am I a vessel of wrath?" People default to doubt: "Perhaps I am the one who will be lost." No. Not a single one shall be lost.

If even one could be lost, we would be in trouble. Everyone would dread being that single failure. God’s promise is reliable, repeatable, and beyond dispute. I am chosen by God. Why do I believe I am chosen? Because I am willing. No complicated excuses—I am willing. I will never be lost. Why? Because not one will be lost. How do you know you are included? I simply know, because I believe.

Let me be blunt: people who ask such doubting questions lack basic sense. Why refuse to believe? "Oh, I am just one of those who cannot believe." Why choose unbelief? "But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him" (Hebrews 11:6).

Do not believe the lie that anyone will be lost. Not a single one. Brothers and sisters, since you have come among us, let me make my position clear: I do not care whether you are wealthy or poor, a businessman or destitute. If one person comes, I will serve that one faithfully; if two come, I will serve both faithfully. That is the church—the church of God.

Do not allow the lies of this world to dominate us. Begin to bear witness to the truth. You have experienced the work yourself—how can you not believe? I have seen so much; how could I ever doubt? Recognize that the flesh is weak, but Jesus Christ died for us on the cross, demonstrating God’s boundless love.

God has given us the Holy Spirit to carry our weaknesses, to help us, and to make us strong. Know with absolute certainty that Jesus Christ is the supreme God, Jesus Christ is King, and not one shall be lost.
