Introduction
Good morning, everyone. Before we know it, we have gone through the Book of Galatians. I have noticed that I was a bit verbose when I was preaching the Book of Galatians, and verbosity often leads to problems, with the key points missed and a pile of unimportant things picked up. So, today I want to go through the Book of Galatians in a very straightforward and simple manner. I have removed all the unnecessary words. Why were there unnecessary words? Some were about the Book of Galatians, and some were just seasoning to highlight the points I wanted to make, or to strengthen the points I wanted to bring out in the story. Today, I want to teach everyone how to distinguish between what I want to express and what I use to illustrate what I want to express. If you can distinguish, that's great; if you can't, that's okay too. Today, I will give everyone a shortcut version.
Paul, an apostle—sent not from men nor by a man, but by Jesus Christ and God the Father, who raised him from the dead—and all the brothers and sisters with me, To the churches in Galatia: … I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting the one who called you to live in the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel—which is really no gospel at all. Evidently some people are throwing you into confusion and are trying to pervert the gospel of Christ. (Galatians 1:1-2,6-7)
Why was the Book of Galatians written? Because some people were talking nonsense! Who was talking nonsense? The person doing this must have had some influence to be able to do it. For example, if a person walks in from the street, and you don't know him, and he doesn't know you. He tells you that Chinese Mingding Destiny is wrong! The high probability event is that you would kick him out. But if someone says he has seen visions, seen Jesus, been taken up to heaven and met Jesus face to face, and the whole world knows him. When he walks in, you would receive him very warmly. Then he says, I am a prophet! Then he must be a person of renown for you to listen to him. This is just some people disturbing you, trying to change the gospel of Christ. The person doing this must have certain qualifications. Paul wrote the Book of Galatians to change the other gospel back to the pure gospel, because the Galatians listened to these words and followed another gospel.
No matter who he is, if the gospel he preaches is different from what Paul preached, he should be accursed! These words are quite heavy! This matter speaks of another gospel, and then the question comes up? Where did Paul's gospel come from? Wasn't his gospel also heard from Peter, wasn't his gospel also heard from James? James was Jesus' brother, and Peter was Jesus' great disciple. When people were Jesus' great disciples, where was Paul? In other words, Paul needs to say where his gospel came from. Where did Chinese Mingding Destiny come from? This matter is worth pondering.
I want you to know, brothers and sisters, that the gospel I preached is not of human origin. I did not receive it from any man, nor was I taught it; rather, I received it by revelation from Jesus Christ. (Galatians 1:11-12)
Paul's Gospel is Unrelated to James and Peter
Paul recounted his experience of how he came to believe. The key point is that the Apostle Paul's gospel came from the revelation of Jesus Christ! All the words of God come from God's revelation, but not everyone's words come from God, so Paul spoke about where his gospel came from. The next question is, what is the relationship between Paul and Peter and James?

For you have heard of my previous way of life in Judaism, how intensely I persecuted the church of God and tried to destroy it. I was advancing in Judaism beyond many of my own age among my people and was extremely zealous for the traditions of my fathers. But when God, who set me apart from my mother’s womb and called me by his grace, was pleased to reveal his Son in me so that I might preach him among the Gentiles, my immediate response was not to consult any human being. (Galatians 1:13-16)
After God shone on Paul, his eyes went blind. After becoming blind, he went into a room, and someone prayed with Paul, and his eyes were healed. From then on, he believed in the Lord. Why preach the gospel of God to the Gentiles? This gospel cannot be preached among the Jews, and God just wants him to preach the gospel to the Gentiles. Why did God let Paul preach to the Gentiles? What exactly happened? Because originally the centurion of the Gentiles, he was a Roman, and the gospel of this centurion was preached to him by Peter, how did it turn to Paul again, this matter is very critical.
Peter stopped doing this thing, the Bible does not record the reason, God had to call Paul, whom he had prepared long ago, to preach the gospel to the Gentiles. In comparison, later Peter and James preached the gospel among the Jews, and Paul preached the gospel among the Gentiles. Many years later, when the Book of Galatians was written, Paul had established many churches, but there is no record of the churches established by Peter and James, no one knows. But Peter and James still have a great influence on the church, because they feel that they are orthodox. So Paul said:
Was pleased to reveal his Son in me so that I might preach him among the Gentiles, my immediate response was not to consult any human being, nor did I go up to Jerusalem to see those who were apostles before I was, but I went into Arabia and later returned to Damascus. (Galatians 1:16-17)
The meaning here is that you people have no great relationship with me, my gospel is not learned from you Peter at all, I am not Peter's student at all.
Paul's Gospel Came from the Revelation of Jesus Christ
Then after three years, I went up to Jerusalem to get acquainted with Cephas and stayed with him fifteen days. I saw none of the other apostles—only James, the Lord’s brother. (Galatians 1:18-19)
Here is actually written one thing: My gospel came from the revelation of God! My gospel is from the right source, very pure, from the revelation of Jesus Christ, then it has almost no relationship with Peter and James. Since Paul believed in the Lord, he has not communicated much with Peter. After three years, I went to see them, and stayed with them for a few days, in fact, they did not add anything to me. Later, each did their own thing, Peter did Peter's, Paul did Paul's. As a result, this matter was immediately separated. Why separate?
Could Paul not write this paragraph? The answer is that he must write this paragraph! Why? Because earlier it was mentioned that some people disturbed you and changed the gospel of Jesus Christ. This is because Paul has someone in mind, because this matter cannot be separated from them. Of course, some people will feel that it is not such a thing. Then I was thinking, if I can get rid of the relationship and it has nothing to do with them, what is the point of talking about it?
Paul's Gospel Mission and the Challenge of the Jerusalem Church
Now Paul wrote the Book of Galatians, first: my gospel did not come from him; second: now I want to pull Peter, James and other big shots down from the altar. They are not gods, what they preach is not necessarily the pure gospel, I, the Apostle Paul, have never tried to please people, I do not want to please people. If I want to please people, I will not be an apostle of Jesus Christ, I will not be a servant of Jesus Christ. The purpose of pulling them down from the altar is not to belittle them, or to elevate myself. The purpose of pulling them down from the altar is to allow the Galatians to come out of confusion and solve their confused problems. The person who created the confusion must clarify the matter!
Who did Paul say later? This Peter pretended and did not conform to the truth. What is he doing? Is he slandering some people? No! What is the point of slandering him for nothing? In fact, writing this kind of letter is really quite sensitive. Why is it sensitive? Because all these big shots were pulled down, how many people would be offended! It's not okay not to pull them down! Because the gospel they preached has a deep influence on the Galatians. In order to allow the Galatians to return to the gospel preached by Paul, he must do this! Let anyone have to do this, otherwise this work cannot be done, right? Then what they preach is also true, and what we preach is also true, this matter cannot be settled.
Then this matter involves one thing. Between the lines, a very peculiar thing is revealed. Since the gospel received by the Apostle Paul came from Christ Jesus, at this time, the Jerusalem church is the benchmark of the whole world's churches. As a result, 14 years before writing the Book of Galatians, Paul found himself facing a great risk, either being killed or being dismissed. In this case, this gospel cannot be preached at all. If James and Peter say you are not good, this road of Paul cannot be walked. So, after 14 years, it came to the second chapter.
Then after fourteen years, I went up again to Jerusalem, this time with Barnabas. I took Titus along also. I went in response to a revelation and, meeting privately with those esteemed as leaders, I presented to them the gospel that I preach among the Gentiles. I wanted to be sure I was not running and had not been running my race in vain. (Galatians 2:1-2)
Everyone understands, right? What revelation did you take up? It is because I was afraid that I would run in vain before or now. You were eliminated by political struggle, what else can you do? Right? If you are eliminated by political struggle, you will not be able to lift your head, and then it will be troublesome. But thank God, God is in control! God wants to raise up Paul to preach a pure gospel. Until today, we still have the Book of Galatians to read. We really want to thank God that God actually revealed to Paul to visit these people in Jerusalem. After the visit, these people made a decision to let Paul preach the gospel to the Gentiles, and Peter and James went to the Jews.
In fact, when Paul wrote the Book of Galatians, his foundation in the Gentile churches in Galatia, Ephesus, and Corinth was very solid. When no one could move him, he exposed all the inside information of these people. 14 years ago, he might have run in vain, but 14 years later, it was not necessarily the case. God said through Paul:
id="h2-paul2623393Bsgospel20and20the20truth20of20justification20by20faith">Paul's Gospel and the Truth of Justification by Faith
As for those who were seen as important—whatever they were makes no difference to me; God does not show favoritism—they added nothing to my message. On the contrary, they saw that I had been entrusted with the task of preaching the gospel to the uncircumcised, just as Peter had been to the circumcised. For God, who was at work in Peter as an apostle to the circumcised, was also at work in me as an apostle to the Gentiles. James, Cephas and John, those esteemed as pillars, gave me and Barnabas the right hand of fellowship when they recognized the grace given to me. They agreed that we should go to the Gentiles, and they to the circumcised. (Galatians 2:6-9)
That was 14 years ago, what does this mean? That is, these pillars of the church, including James, Peter, and John, also believe that there is no problem with what I, the Apostle Paul, preach.
So today, we must know not to value appearances, surfaces, and physical relationships. Even if you are the physical brother of Jesus Christ, what if you are a person of renown? Even if the Apostle Peter was once a follower of Jesus, didn't he deny the Lord three times, and isn't he still a hypocritical person today? Because as soon as Peter saw people from James, he followed Barnabas and pretended.
Pretending is not a good word. Think about it, can a person who pretends preach the pure gospel? Right? He eats with the Gentiles for a while, and when he sees people from James coming, he quickly pretends as if nothing happened. Isn't this troublesome? So, it is not in accordance with the truth! Why record this paragraph? Everyone should understand that it is not deliberately stabbing Peter in the back. Paul wants to explain that the gospel he preaches is the gospel revealed by Jesus Christ.
If you have a little understanding of biblical history, Jesus first let Peter preach the gospel to the Gentiles. To a certain extent, if a person pretends, does it have a bit of the taste of King Saul? If you please people, can you please God? If you are afraid of people from James, isn't that a complete Saul?
Paul's Gospel is Justified by Faith in Jesus Christ
What exactly is the gospel that Paul preached? The gospel that Paul preached is justification by faith in Jesus Christ! Jewish Christians preach the law. The gospel that Paul preached is not based on doing the law, but on faith in Jesus Christ. The passage about faith in Jesus Christ is in Galatians chapter 2, verses 15-21.
Then some people will ask, can you continue to sin if you believe in Jesus Christ? No, absolutely not! It is because of faith in Jesus Christ that we can overcome this sin. This is the key! It is not because doing the law can overcome sin, doing the law cannot overcome sin!
In Galatians chapter 3, Paul gave two examples. The first example: Did you receive the Holy Spirit and perform miracles by believing in the gospel or by doing the law? In fact, they don't know how to do the law, and they don't lead cattle and sheep to sacrifice in Jerusalem. But because of faith in Jesus Christ, they received the Holy Spirit, and because of faith in Jesus Christ, they can perform miracles, and the great power of God is manifested. Why? This is called justification by faith in Jesus Christ, this is called the gospel. The first example is their personal experience.
Those Who Are Based on Works Are Cursed
Today, these people leave this pure gospel and begin to do the law. Paul says:
After beginning by means of the Spirit, are you now trying to finish by means of the flesh? Have you experienced so much in vain—if it really was in vain? (Galatians 3:3-4)
The Contrast Between Justification by Faith and the Law
The meaning is that once you deviate from the truth, that thing is called a curse! Don't think that preaching the wrong gospel is cursed, believing the wrong gospel is also cursed. Why don't you try it, you worship Jesus as a Bodhisattva, burn incense on the first and fifteenth of the lunar month, can that work? Completely messing around! Jesus is Jesus, Bodhisattva is Bodhisattva.
Example 2: In order to prove this gospel of justification by faith, to prove that becoming righteous by faith in Jesus Christ can receive the Holy Spirit and perform the power of God, Paul brought out Abraham in the Old Testament. Because Abraham is a person based on faith!
From a human perspective, Abraham is not a good person. If judged by behavior, his behavior completely fails to meet the requirements of many sisters today. Why? At that time, he took his wife to Egypt, and his wife was robbed by the Egyptian Pharaoh, and he didn't dare to fart. What kind of husband is this? Many sisters look down on Abraham. But Abraham is great, he is not justified by behavior, he receives God's promise by faith.
Therefore, be sure that it is those who are of faith who are sons of Abraham. And the Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel beforehand to Abraham, saying, “All the nations will be blessed in you.” So then those who are of faith are blessed with Abraham, the man of faith. For all who rely on the works of the law are under a curse, for it is written: “Cursed is everyone who does not continue to do everything written in the Book of the Law.” Now it is evident that no one is justified before God by the law, because, “The righteous will live by faith.” (Galatians 3:7-10)
Are we not talking about the Bible? The New Testament has not yet been written, and the Old Testament has clearly seen the way for the righteous to live by faith.
The law is not based on faith; on the contrary, it says, “The one who does these things will live by them.” (Galatians 3:12)
Do these things and live accordingly! Live like this, if you are said to be blessed, you will be blessed, and if you are said to be cursed, you will be cursed.
Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree.” He redeemed us in order that the blessing given to Abraham might come to the Gentiles through Christ Jesus, so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit. (Galatians 3:13-14)
It is obvious that doing the law is cursed. If you want to rely on your good behavior, try it.
I once met a person who went home and said to his family, Mom and Dad, believe in Jesus with me! Look how rotten I was before, but now I am doing so well. Believe in Jesus with me! Do you know what his parents would say? You better stop! Look at your character! They would pick out a whole bunch of problems! How can you persuade others like that? You can't! Maybe yesterday you were still arguing with your parents, or giving your mother a bad look! Today, you go and evangelize to them like that, how can you do it? If someone asks me what I would say? I would say, Mom and Dad, look how rotten I am, but even I can receive God's grace! Since you are so good, shouldn't you receive even more of God's grace?! How can others refute that?! They can't!
The Relationship Between Law and Promise, and the Blessing of Faith
So, those who practice the law and rely on works are under a curse. Many people, in their hearts, rely on works, and the result is a curse. When a curse comes, things like cancer, ankylosing spondylitis, pain, and all kinds of diseases happen. They believe in the Lord and end up with a bunch of curses! That's not believing in the Lord, that's believing in curses! We should preach the grace of Jesus Christ! Not because we are good enough and deserve it, but because we are not good enough, yet God still gives to us!
So, practicing the law is being under a curse, while relying on faith, like Abraham's faith, is receiving the promised blessing! Practicing the law is closely related to curses; relying on faith, especially Abraham's faith, is closely related to blessings. Jesus Christ was cursed so that we might be blessed! The most important blessing is receiving the promised Holy Spirit.
The Law Cannot Nullify God's Promise
This raises several key points: First, how did the promise come about? How did the law come about? The promise was given during Abraham's time. The law was written by Moses 430 years after Abraham. It is important to understand these key words! Blessing, curse, law, and faith! Practicing the law is closely related to curses, while having faith is closely related to blessings. This is the gospel we are talking about!
The promise came from Abraham, and the law came from Moses, 430 years apart. The law that came 430 years later cannot nullify the promise that God gave to Abraham before. What God promised to Abraham will not be nullified by a law established 430 years later.
Why was there law after the promise? Because the law confined people in transgression and then proved that they could not fulfill it, pushing them towards faith. With faith, they received the Holy Spirit promised by God. This happened after Jesus came. After Jesus came, He died, was buried, and rose from the dead and ascended to heaven for us, giving the promised Holy Spirit, so that we can fulfill the law through the Holy Spirit. Before Jesus came, everyone was confined under the law, proving that people could not do it themselves and had to rely on God's Spirit. So the Old Testament said long ago, not by chariot, not by horse, but by the Spirit of the Lord. But today, many people still reject the Holy Spirit when He has come, which I find very strange.
Practicing the law is being a servant, while relying on faith is being a child of God. Children of God inherit the inheritance, while servants cannot inherit the inheritance. This clearly explains what the law is about. The relationship between servants and sons is discussed in Galatians 3:15 to 4:7, We are no longer servants, but children of God.
Up to now, let me reiterate what Paul has said: First, where did my gospel come from? My gospel came from the revelation of Jesus Christ. Second, my gospel has nothing to do with Peter, James, and other big shots. Even if they followed Jesus and were Jesus' physical brothers, these people of reputation did not add anything to me or bring me anything.
But from those who seemed to be influential (what they were makes no difference to me; God shows no partiality)—those, I say, who seemed influential added nothing to me. (Galatians 2:6 ESV)
Contrasting Faith and Law: The Transition from Servant to Child
Then he talked about Peter's hypocrisy and how it did not align with the truth! Why? To let the Galatians know that even if this message causing confusion came under the name of Peter or James, it was useless. Then Paul directly talked about what the gospel really is - the gospel is believing in Jesus Christ. He gave several examples of believing in Jesus Christ: He talked about the Holy Spirit and performing miracles, all because of faith in Jesus, not because of practicing the law. Then he brought up Abraham from the Old Testament. One was a current example, a example we can see with our own eyes, and the other was Abraham in the Old Testament, and then argued that Abraham was also justified by faith. He received God's promise by faith, and then explained the relationship between curses and practicing the law, between faith and being blessed, and also talked about Jesus being cursed so that we might be blessed! The best blessing is receiving the promised Holy Spirit. Grasping these key points makes it easy to understand.
Then we must explain that the promise came from Abraham, and the law came from Moses. The law was 430 years later than Abraham's promise, and then he explained why the law came about. Why have the law? It is to confine people in transgression, so that people seek God and walk the path of faith. By faith, we can draw on God's promise, become children, and inherit the inheritance; by the law, we are cursed, become servants, and cannot inherit the inheritance.
So, Galatians 4:21-31 keeps talking about Isaac, born of Sarah, inheriting God's promise; Ishmael, born of Hagar, cannot inherit God's promise. One was born of a slave, and the other was born of a free woman; one was born according to God's promise, and the other was born according to the flesh. So those who are of the flesh cannot inherit God's promise; those who are of the promise and of God's Spirit can inherit the promise.
Therefore, as you read this, according to what I have said, you will find that Paul strongly urges the Galatians to return to this effective gospel, away from the useless rules of the law. Because some people received the wrong gospel and instead treated Paul, who preached the pure gospel, as an enemy. This is very strange.
So, those born of the flesh are servants and cannot inherit the promise, while those born of the Holy Spirit are children of God and can inherit the promise. This explains a bunch of strange phenomena that occur in the church. In the church, there are many who promote the law and behavior-based faith, because it sounds reasonable, but very few promote Abraham's faith. This explains why many people in the church today get cancer and various diseases. Some time ago, a very famous pastor fought cancer for ten years and eventually died of cancer.
What gospel do we believe in today? Today, everyone needs to know exactly what gospel we believe in! Even today, there are still many people who promote behavior as the foundation. Therefore, we can say with certainty that Galatians is very important.
Do Not Be Burdened by the Yoke of Slavery
For freedom Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery. (Galatians 5:1 ESV)
This sounds like a casual statement. But today, among us, including small pastors, we are often burdened by the yoke of slavery, always feeling like we are second-class citizens. Why do we always feel like we are second-class in the church? Actually, there are no second-class citizens! You are not grandsons among us, you are sons among us! Brothers and sisters, don't be burdened by the yoke of slavery!
id="h2-thestruggle20between20the20spirit20and20the20flesh3A20obeying20the20call20of20the20spirit">The Struggle Between the Spirit and the Flesh: Obeying the Call of the Spirit
Look: I, Paul, say to you that if you accept [a]circumcision, Christ will be of no benefit to you. I testify again to every man who accepts circumcision that he is obligated to do the whole law. You are severed from Christ, you who would be justified by the law; you have fallen away from grace. For through the Spirit, by faith, we ourselves eagerly wait for the hope of righteousness. For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision counts for anything, but only faith working through love. (Galatians 5:2-6 ESV)
This whole passage talks about freedom, grace, effectiveness, the Holy Spirit, and faith, and then relatively talks about bondage, law, ineffectiveness, and talks about relying on the flesh and behavior. One side is called obeying the Spirit, and the other side is called obeying the desires of the flesh. Therefore, whoever disturbs you will bear his guilt, even if he is famous!
You were running well. Who hindered you from obeying the truth? This persuasion is not from him who calls you. A little leaven leavens the whole lump. I have confidence in the Lord that you will take no other view, and the one who is troubling you will bear the penalty, whoever he is. But if I still preach circumcision, brothers, why am I still being persecuted? In that case the offense of the cross has been removed. I wish those who unsettle you would emasculate themselves! For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another. For the whole law is fulfilled in one word: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” But if you bite and devour one another, watch out that you are not consumed by one another. (Galatians 5:7-15 ESV)
Today I want to remind everyone that people who believe in the Lord easily fall into biting and devouring one another, watch out that you are not consumed by one another. Why? Because the things that people are born with are called desires of the flesh. Once the desires of the flesh are stirred up, they produce corruption, corrupting not only others but also themselves. This raises two things: one is called the Holy Spirit, and the other is called the desires of the flesh. Why is the gospel of Jesus Christ preached by the Apostle Paul effective? Because he talks about the struggle between the Holy Spirit and the desires of the flesh, which is the Holy Spirit in you and the desires of the flesh in you still struggling today!
The Conflict Between the Spirit and the Flesh
But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. (Galatians 5:16 ESV)
Who do you obey? If you obey the desires of the flesh, you will reap corruption; if you obey the Spirit, you will reap eternal life. So walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh is a key component of the gospel.
For the desires of the flesh are against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh, for these are opposed to each other, to keep you from doing the things you want to do. But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law. Now the works of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, envy, [d]drunkenness, orgies, and things like these. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. And those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live by the Spirit, let us also keep in step with the Spirit. Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another. (Galatians 5:17-26 ESV)
Obeying the Spirit and the New Life
It is written very clearly here! Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another. Only faith that produces love is effective. All the law is included in loving your neighbor as yourself. Many of our brothers and sisters love me without hypocrisy, but they don't know how to love others. Today, brothers and sisters need to know one thing: that crucifying the passions and desires of the flesh with the Holy Spirit is called victory!
So brothers and sisters need to start knowing what to obey! Obeying the Spirit and obeying the desires of the flesh bring two completely different results! You may think that I have the Holy Spirit, and you also have the Holy Spirit, so everything is fine. Not to say that you have the Holy Spirit, but you must have the fruit of the Holy Spirit, do you understand? If you have the Holy Spirit, take a look at what you bear. Your actions will tell you whether you have it or not. If you don't have it in your actions but you think you have it, isn't that deceiving yourself?
So, today brothers and sisters need to examine our own actions. We think we are doing well, but actually we are not that good, and then we become Saul! Still thinking that we are carefully keeping and following God's word, but actually we are not! Today, let us examine our own actions carefully. Actually, you don't need to examine too much, just examine the feeling in your heart. If the feeling inside you is uncomfortable, it won't get better. How can it get better if it is uncomfortable?
Are we still running on this path today, constantly putting to death the deeds of the flesh through the Holy Spirit? Are we pursuing vain glory? Pursuing vain glory leads to provoking one another and envying one another. Today, brothers and sisters, don't harm yourselves anymore! I say it again, don't harm yourselves anymore! Many people think that if I don't harm myself, I am letting myself off easy. In other words, if I don't hurt myself, I am letting him off easy. Who are you letting off easy?! Harming yourself with all kinds of illnesses and attracting a lot of sins, what is the point? I don't know what the point is! I have never known what the point is! So examine your own actions!
Being a New Creation
Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap. For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life. (Galatians 6:7-8 ESV)
Everyone slowly think about it, you reap what you sow! You must know that there is nothing to hide in you, nothing to hide! Are the sins you attract really in vain? Are the sins you attract really in vain? So you can't deceive yourself about what you sow according to. You are willing to sow according to what, then sow according to what, that is your creation, that is your choice.
So today brothers and sisters, don't covet appearances, covet vanity, and then start solving problems in our hearts. The garbage in our hearts is the key! Don't shift the blame to others. What is in our hearts? It's not because someone appeared that you became like that, it's because what you have in your heart is that thing, so you became like that. Don't blame me for not telling you on the day you attract sin. If you continue to sow according to the desires of the flesh, then you will reap corruption from the flesh! All the results can be summed up in one sentence - serves you right! Many people think I am gloating, I am not gloating, I am grieved for Saul! Many people just like to attract ghosts!
So today, can we make a clear choice in our hearts? As far as I am concerned, the world has been crucified to me; as far as the world is concerned, I have been crucified to it; my flesh has been completely crucified because of Jesus Christ, because of the power of the Holy Spirit, because of the faith in me; I have nothing to do with the world! We must create a new man!
A New Life Rooted in Faith
Today brothers and sisters need to know that a person who is centered on the world, based on this life, and with external appearance as the core interest, will never get better. Today, with the Lord Jesus as the center, with eternal life as our goal, and with the joy of the Holy Spirit in us as the foundation and our core interest, you will surely become a new creation! You will surely bear the mark of Jesus Christ, this is the pure gospel! Is there behavior? Yes! But this is by no means fundamental! The fundamental thing is faith! Do you believe or not?
In just a few tens of minutes, I have gone through the book of Galatians. If you read the original text of Galatians again and listen again, I think I have spoken it very smoothly, so today we will finish the book of Galatians. May God enable us to truly hold on to His word and be a new creation in the days on earth. Our desires of the flesh will occasionally corrupt us, that is, once that fleshly thing arises, you will surely reap corruption, you will surely be uncomfortable. So today, should we make a smart choice because of Galatians! Choose this effective way, to be molded into the image of Jesus Christ by the Holy Spirit, bearing the mark of Jesus Christ, and what else can disturb you? No one can disturb you!
May God bless everyone!
