I. Introduction:

Good day to everyone. Today, I will share with you a truth that is not so hardcore: The Lord is my shepherd. It sounds good, but brothers and sisters must know that it was written by David. It was David who wrote, The Lord is my shepherd. But is it written by you? Not necessarily. But these are written by me. I tell you, the Lord God is my shepherd, forever and ever! Since I believed in the Lord, I knew that God is my shepherd, and my goodness is not apart from Him. Even today, I still particularly like to observe and ponder. I often ponder many things when I have nothing to do.

Sometimes I watch animal documentaries, and my colleagues come in and say, Teacher, you still watch this? I have an ageless childlike heart! Why? Because you can get a lot of revelation from watching these things. God created them so well. So one time, I suddenly had a revelation: Animals are made in the image of angels, and humans are made in the image of God. That must be the case, even though it is not stated in the Bible.

For example, the wolf is a very fierce animal. Wolves are powerful and very intelligent. I tell you, even Sun Tzu has to learn from wolves about troop deployment. You see, when wolves hunt, they first deploy their troops, and then they rush up and catch the prey. You must know that the wolf's wisdom, intelligence, strategy, tactics, skills, and physical strength are not the most impressive things. It also has strong organizational discipline. Look how well the wolf king manages the wolves. I manage you all rather poorly. I really have to learn from them.

I tell you, the wolf is simply amazing. Its organizational discipline is very strict. But are there many wolves in this world? I tell you, wolves are almost extinct. Are there more wolves or sheep? Wolves are almost at the top of the food chain, but sheep, which are at the bottom of the food chain, are more numerous than wolves. When have you ever heard of sheep becoming extinct? Never heard of sheep becoming extinct. Why is that? Sheep are taken care of by humans. You must know how powerful humans are. Think about it, what are humans called? Bipeds. They walk upright on two feet. Surely, two-legged creatures are more intelligent than four-legged creatures. Because sheep are taken care of by humans, can wolves beat humans? No matter how smart wolves are, they are not smarter than humans.

Humans are very powerful now, and the breeding industry has developed. The other day, I went to a village and saw the sheep and cattle they raised. They were very large, not raised for work, but for meat. Beef cattle, and sheep are also for meat. But this matter does not seem very appropriate for the topic The Lord is my shepherd, but this matter is very interesting. Why? Because many pastors are engaged in the breeding industry, raising a large number of meat sheep to be slaughtered and eaten. But is that God's will? Then the Lord is not their shepherd. So today I want to tell you that we are building a pastoral church that is pleasing to God, so the Lord is my shepherd. Then I have to listen to Him. If I don't listen to Him, what is that?

So today I tell you that in the process of pastoring, I pondered how to pastor. Later, I found that the work of pastoring is very interesting. How interesting is it? Sometimes the thing you are pastoring bites you. I am often bitten, and I am often criticized. Later, I pondered this matter. Suddenly one day, I turned on the TV in my house to watch a TV program. I don't know how the program started, but it was Cesar Millan's Dog Whisperer. Have you seen it? So when I teach pastoral care, I often use clips from Cesar Millan's Dog Whisperer to train our pastors. You must know that when shepherding, sometimes wolves come, and sometimes lions come.

When I watched this program Cesar Millan's Dog Whisperer, I found that some dogs were neurotic. Have you seen neurotic dogs? Those dogs are very insecure, neurotic, and bark at everyone who comes. Of course, those small pet dogs that you raise are not like that. Some people's dogs are in a very bad state. Then Cesar Millan makes a dog training program. Actually, later he is not training dogs, he is training people. Why? Because the owner does not know how to be an owner, and the dog does not know how to be a dog. That is to say, this position is not quite right. Later, after the training is over, the dog owner knows how to be an owner, and the dog really regards him as the owner, and the dog is not so neurotic. After the dog has an owner, it bullies others. The dog relies on the owner, so it is very powerful. The dog dares to compete with black bears.

Then this dog is neurotic. Later, I thought about what is going on with people being neurotic? Because the Lord is not their shepherd. Later, I also found that pastoring people is really similar to this matter, so I often used a little bit of Cesar Millan's dog training skills when pastoring. Cesar Millan's dog training skills are very good. So people are neurotic because they have no shepherd. People naturally need a strong leader. If you have a very powerful leader leading you, you will feel more at ease. So can dogs rely on themselves? Dogs cannot rely on themselves. Can people rely on themselves? You say I use people and dogs as an analogy. I tell you, people cannot rely on themselves either. People really cannot rely on themselves. I ask you: Who knows when they will be born, and when they will die? No one knows.

I once saw some people who were very concerned about their health, and then they wore a watch that could measure their pulse, heart rate, blood pressure, and also measure their sleep quality. Then after a while, the blood oxygen content is not enough, oh, the sleep quality is not enough, living neurotically. In fact, these people need the Lord to be their shepherd the most. So I tell you, people without God are like dogs without owners, and people without God are like sheep without shepherds. I tell you, it is a tragedy! So when you have this kind of situation today, I give everyone a suggestion: Once you know God, do not forsake God! The Lord God is our shepherd, and our whole life is in His hands. I tell you, we will not lack for anything in our lives!

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.(Psalm 23:1)

Someone said, Life in this world is thirty years east of the river and thirty years west of the river. I don't quite agree with this. I don't think it's thirty years east of the river and thirty years west of the river. I am in the temple of the Lord God for sixty years. People really don't know what will happen in the future. Then someone says, I know. I said, What do you know? He said, I know that there will definitely be a small box in the future. What you said refuted me all of a sudden. That thing of ending up in a small box will definitely happen. But not necessarily. Like me, after I die and am cremated, if there is a ditch next to it, I will be placed in the ditch. If there is a river, I will be placed in the river. If there is a sea, I will be placed in the sea, right? It's very interesting.

A few days ago, a friend of mine who I had pastoring died. Coincidentally, I was in that place when he was buried. His family contacted me and asked me to attend his burial ceremony, so I went. I especially like to go. If they don't call me, I feel a little bad. Funerals are more refreshing than brain-refreshing pills after attending them. In the end, they ended up in a small box, entangled with this and entangled with that, entangled with many things, which is meaningless, isn't it? He died of cancer. Many years ago, he got cancer and I served him. Later, his cancer relapsed. His family said, He should have died of cancer a long time ago. He has lived so many years and is very grateful to me. His family told me that he suffered a lot less, and finally he just sat in a chair and died. That's about it.

At that time, they also invited an emcee for the burial. Have you seen this? They said that young boys and girls led the way in front, with that Western Paradise set, which was quite interesting. Then when I came back from the funeral, I chatted with those people. When chatting, they said, Ah, I can do this too. If you attend funerals often, you can do that too. Ride a crane to the west, bless future generations, and so on, just those things. They recite that stuff like I recite the Lord's Prayer. I can recite the Lord's Prayer very well too. In fact, where is the problem in people's lives? The problem in people's lives is in this sentence: The Lord is my shepherd. You must know that people's needs in life are these things, but they make these things extremely complicated, and then people like to worry. People really like to worry. People's needs in life are actually not many, but people invent many needs.

Once upon a time, someone had one million in their hand. Alas, they couldn't eat or drink all day long. I invited him to eat something, but he didn't eat it. He was just waiting to die. I said, What are you worried about, looking so sad? Then he said, Look, I only have one million in my hand. Oh my goodness, twenty years ago in China, how many people had one million in their hand? Not many. He said, Look, a kidney transplant costs 300,000, a liver transplant costs 300,000, and a few heart bypasses are not enough. What are you doing changing that stuff when you have nothing to do? The parts are broken. Alas, it is easy for people to worry if they have nothing to do, but it is difficult to be happy if they have nothing to do.

I tell you, don't learn from that dog, like a mad dog. After Cesar Millan trained it, it became stable. Those who have not been trained are all neurotic. So I think since the day I knew God, I have determined that the Lord is my shepherd. Do you know why I am sure? Because I think I am not good enough. Many people think I am very powerful. What is powerful? Only this one thing is powerful. What thing? I am sure that God is my shepherd. So I tell you, my life is very stable, and I really do not lack for anything in my life. If you want me to tell you testimonies of not lacking for anything, there are too many. So people's needs in life are all in God's hands. If the worry, anxiety, and fear in people can be replaced with peace, stability, and joy, that would be great!

If we are competing in this market, God sets a table for us in the presence of our enemies, that would be really great. And He restores our souls. I am just afraid of being confused for a moment. It's okay to step in a pit, but if you step in a manhole, it's all filth underneath. It is so good for people to have their souls awakened in their lives, walk the path of righteousness under God's guidance, and not be afraid to experience any environment, because God is with me! God has anointed my head and made my cup overflow. This sentence is very good.

You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over.(Psalm 23:5)

II. Scripture

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the Lord Forever.(Psalm 23:1-6)

III. Prayer

God, come into our hearts today, be our Lord, be our King, take control of our lives, and be our shepherd. God, we must also deal with the fleshly things on our bodies, so that we can become sheep that can be shepherded before You. God, may You have mercy on us, let You be in our lives, and let Your goodness and mercy follow us all the days of our lives. We will dwell in Your temple, admire Your beauty, and no longer be afraid of anything we experience in this world. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen!

IV. Scripture Background

This sixth Psalm is well written. Do you know the background of this sixth Psalm? Everyone must know that David was a shepherd from a young age. He did not go to school. He probably shepherded sheep from elementary school to high school, about that age. That is to say, he has a deep understanding of shepherding sheep. He is a shepherd. As a shepherd, he has a deep understanding of shepherding. Later, what did he say? He said, The Lord is my shepherd. He is the sheep under the Lord's hand. Look at what he said: Your rod and Your staff. He has used these devices. He is definitely a very skilled shepherd.

Later, David was anointed to be the king of Israel, which is actually called the crown prince today. But it is not a real crown prince, because Saul already had a crown prince, and that was his son Jonathan. Saul began to hunt down David when he was king. Actually, the process here is a very simple process. Why? The reason is very simple, because the people of Israel said, Saul has slain his thousands, and David his ten thousands. Saul was unhappy. When Saul heard these words, it was fatal. From then on, Saul began to kill David, and David began a thirteen-year life of escape.

Think about how to live this life of being hunted down and fleeing? He was constantly being hunted down. Later, there were about a thousand people following David. With those thousands of people, what to eat? They were like guerrillas, hiding in the mountains, and as soon as they were ready, Saul's large army would come to hunt them down. Your head is like being tied to your belt. Then where does the money come from for the supply of thousands of people? That is really fatal! If you read Psalm 23, you feel that it is very easy, but if you read Psalm 6, you see that the feeling is very strong. When David was experiencing this kind of difficulty, he said:

O Lord, do not rebuke me in Your anger, Nor chasten me in Your hot displeasure!(Psalm 6:1)

He is a little upset. What kind of feeling makes people say this?

O Lord, I am weak; O Lord, heal me, for my bones are troubled. My soul also is greatly troubled; But You, O Lord—how long? Return, O Lord, deliver me! Oh, save me for Your mercies’ sake! For in death there is no remembrance of You; In the grave who will give You thanks? I am weary with my groaning; All night I make my bed swim; I drench my couch with my tears. My eye wastes away because of grief; It grows old because of all my enemies. Depart from me, all you workers of iniquity; For the Lord has heard the voice of my weeping. The Lord has heard my supplication; The Lord will receive my prayer. Let all my enemies be ashamed and greatly troubled; Let them turn back and be ashamed suddenly.(Psalm 6:2-10)

Psalm 6 is a portrayal of David's daily life. His tears make his bed swim and drench his couch. But every time in this desperate situation, I don't know what to pray for. God, don't punish me anymore. Although some of the words are not very appropriate, those words do reflect the difficult situation. How many times did he experience this kind of situation in his life? We can't count them. But later, I tell you, he was rescued every time, and every time God set a table for him in the presence of his enemies. Later, he wrote Psalm 23.

Think about it, the food supply is about to run out, and thousands of people will soon starve to death. He is not a government army, but a guerrilla team, like in the mountains of Northeast China. The Japanese devils occupied it, and then you are doing guerrilla warfare in the mountains. How do you live? I don't know how to live. The supply problem really doesn't know what to do. Thousands of people, eating, drinking, using, and then all kinds of decisions need to be made. He led this team, although there were thousands of people, these thousands of people are enough to toss you around. It is really fatal. He found that he had always been under God's protection. He has always been under God's protection. His summary is too good:

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.(Psalm 23:1)

How is it that he does not lack anything? I can hardly imagine the scene at that time. How is it that he does not lack anything? Actually, I tell you, I have experienced things that are too fatal. How fatal? Many mortgages, jobs are gone. This is going to kill people. You will default on the loan, and the loan will be foreclosed, which is a lot of problems that I don't know how to deal with. But I tell you, God is too miraculous. To what extent? The rent for those properties in our house that are rented out is higher than others by a lot, but those houses cannot be rented out.

As a result, one day, someone walked into our house and said to me, I will rent your house. I will give you as much money as you want. The market price is 4,000, but I want 6,000, which is 50% more. Okay, I signed it, which is super magical. Because what? Because it is very annoying that that thing cannot be rented out. It has been hanging for one month after another. As a result, I found that after they were all rented out, I also became financially free. If they cannot be rented out, it would be miserable.

Later, I found that the Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. That's not because of anything else, that's because I didn't build the church well, and I didn't build the church according to God's word, so I was cursed. It was really cursed, but later I repented, and God really had mercy on me. The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. Even today I still boldly declare that the Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want! Today, brothers and sisters, you must all experience these things. After experiencing them, you will know how good the sentence The Lord is my shepherd is. It is very simple for God to supply us in heaven.

David has experienced such things, but not just once. He experiences them every day, but every time he makes a decision, I tell you, he feels annoyed every time he makes a decision. Do you want to rob the chickens, ducks, and sheep raised by farmers in their homes? Either these thousands of people are starving, or you rob the eight families of their things. Do you want to rob them? Every time it is a battle in the head, that is real money.

How delicious is grilled chicken? Roast chicken, roast duck, and braised beef are so delicious! Looking at the cattle on the grassland, wow, what you think about is braised beef and grilled beef skewers. Your saliva is flowing straight down. What do you do at this time? Every time you make a decision, it is a struggle. If you rob them, you will get them immediately. As a result, He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake. There were two opportunities to kill Saul. He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For My name’s sake. The things I have experienced are like this. I am really thankful to God that the Lord is my shepherd.

So in the end, David summarized the best summary of the relationship between him and God in his life. Actually, at this time, he may not have come out of that predicament, but he wrote it like this without coming out of the predicament, which is a declaration of faith! So many people are using this poem. The problem is that many people are not like David. Many people, the Spirit of God leads them to walk the path of righteousness, but they do not walk the path of righteousness. They walk the crooked path and do not obey the Spirit of God. So today, brothers and sisters, if you are really a David, God is really with you. If you really have a destiny from God, I tell you, goodness and mercy will follow you all the days of your life, and you will have a cup that overflows in your life.

This is the background of David writing Psalm 23. At this time, his situation has actually improved, but this declaration is still a hope for the future. So today, can brothers and sisters start to be a person of faith? Just believe in God. If your illness has not been completely healed, start from the perspective of Mingding Destiny; if your finances have not turned around, also start from the perspective of Mingding Destiny. Make up your mind, let the Spirit of God guide you, stop walking the crooked path, and start walking the path of righteousness. The path of righteousness is the path of faith.

V. We Shall Not Want

Which of us today, which one doesn't have testimonies of this kind of not wanting? Everyone has them. Do we still lack today? The days of lacking in the past are gone, and the days of prosperity have come, and then are we still talking about not lacking? We are talking about never lacking. If we never lack, then what are you worried about? Brothers and sisters, if you are doing business, if you have worries in your heart, you don't need to worry about anything else. You only need to worry about one thing: Are you a sheep pastored by God or a wolf in front of God? If you are a wolf, God will definitely use His staff to drive you away; if you are a sheep, God will definitely lead you to green pastures and to still waters.

It is God's will that people will not lack in their lives. God's will is more than just not lacking. People will definitely prosper in their lives! Today, brothers and sisters, can we start to declare with me that a day of prosperity is coming next, and a season of prosperity is coming, because we shall not want. It seems that this not wanting is a very low requirement, but it is a very good declaration, because I will never lack, what am I worried about? What great wisdom David had. He was very good at saving money. How much money did he save? About 200 tons of gold. Later, he dedicated these 200 tons of gold and used them to build God's temple, wrapping the pillars with gold and covering the walls with gold. He was really rich! With God, one will not lack in one's life. It is that simple, and there will be great prosperity!

Why do I say that your wealth and health will experience some reversals? It is because of God's good intentions for us. Who can receive God's will? I will talk about it later. Only those with Mingding Destiny, because there is no blessing outside of Mingding Destiny. Everyone must know that what God declared to Abraham in his time was that he must have a living destiny – to be a blessing to others. We shall not lack.

Yes, David was fleeing with thousands of people, and perhaps tomorrow's supplies would be cut off. Then I ask you: at this time, are you going to take crooked paths or persevere in trusting God? Will God supply you? I tell you: God will surely supply! Because David, with these thousands of people, often experienced miraculous things and often experienced miracles. Know that on the mountain of the Lord, God will provide. What is that called? That was when Abraham offered Isaac, and God prepared a ram. Then I ask you, if God prepared a ram, can God prepare ten rams? Yes! Can God prepare a hundred rams? Yes! Can God prepare a thousand rams? Yes!

Actually, let me tell you, if you read those Levitical sacrifices, the entire process of offering sacrifices—after it was offered, what happened? Everyone took it home and ate it. It was all eaten by the common people and the priests. So, we shall not lack; can this logic enter our minds? Not lacking throughout life, then what are you worried about? What you need to worry about most is whether you have Mingding Destiny. What you need to worry about most is whether you are walking in God's will. What you need to worry about most is whether you are a sheep in the pasture of the Lord God. If you are a person like David, you will not lack throughout your life. I just said that there is no blessing outside of Mingding Destiny. Someone typed out this sentence, which is good: there is no blessing outside of Mingding Destiny!

6. Lead Me in Paths of Righteousness

People take crooked paths a lot. Someone collected offerings, and after collecting them, ran away with the offerings. I ask you, what will this person's life be like? There was someone who ran away with offerings, that was Judas who hanged himself, very miserable. Later, actually, I tell you, in the church business, it is often heard that people run away with the church's offerings. Alas, there are many who take crooked paths. Then what is the path of righteousness? It is the path of trusting God. People either trust money, or they trust God. If they trust money, those who worship Mammon cannot worship God. Those who worship God do not worship Mammon, because Mammon is money. Mammon can give you money, but it cannot give you the promise of not lacking throughout life.

He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. (Psalm 23:3)

This sentence is written as the third sentence in Psalms: He restores my soul. If a person's spirit is often revived throughout their life, and they often trust God to walk in the path of righteousness, which is the path of trusting God, I tell you, God's grace and love will surely follow you throughout this life. People do not know. People are often deceived by ghosts, so you know what? Ghosts often deceive me too. If God did not restore my soul, then one day I would run away with the offerings. What would happen? It would be upsetting. So, soul is revived, to lead me in paths of righteousness for his own name’s sake. This is so well spoken. That is, God leads me to walk the path of faith for the sake of His own name.

So today, brothers and sisters, you begin to believe, is there any need to be corrupt when one does not lack throughout life? Is there any need to be a corrupt official when one does not lack throughout life? Is there any need to be a treacherous merchant when one does not lack throughout life? There is no need. I tell you, what I have experienced in the past few years has been so miraculous, to what extent? At that time, we were still in the physical church, and the path of righteousness that God's Spirit led us to walk was not easy to take. Why? Because people cannot understand God with the eyes of money, and with the eyes of God, they cannot understand money. At that time, the church was very desolate, and there was a large room next to it, so I rented it. The rent was a lot, twice the rent of the previous small place. The rent ate up a lot of money.

What happened in the end? The month after it was rented, the offerings that month suddenly exploded, and looking around, it was still those few people. What exactly happened? I don't know. It was completely impossible to understand with logic. It was still those people, just like that. Later, I and our co-workers, all experienced these things with me. That is, the church's expenses are constantly advancing. Why? To shepherd, to provide a series of these shepherding tools so that people can become smarter. Which one doesn't cost money? But if it is done from the perspective of making money, then it is not the thinking of a priest. God's Spirit has had mercy on me again and again. He guided me to make a smart decision until today.

So, I struggle a lot when making a decision, it's not a lie at all. They come to me to discuss together. Discussing and discussing, walking and walking, they go astray, walking to the path of making money. Ah, pull it back again. Because the mentality of a priest and the mentality of a merchant, one is of God, and the other is of man. Those who are of man see real money, those who are of God see God's supply. Until today, I am especially thankful to God for guiding me in paths of righteousness. Fortunately, I didn't go astray, focusing on building God's church and focusing on shepherding God's flock. So why do I say that Psalm 23 written by David seems to be written to me? I have the same feeling, absolutely the same feeling.

7. Though I Walk Through the Valley of the Shadow of Death, I Will Fear No Evil

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. (Psalm 23:4)

Have you walked through the valley of the shadow of death? Before believing in the Lord, I came out of the valley of the shadow of death. After believing in the Lord and building the church, I actually brushed past the edge again and again. Why is it called the valley of the shadow of death? At that time, there was not even a shadow of Chinese Mingding Destiny, and then I tell you, many things were vague, many things were in the dark, and reading them might not necessarily be too clear, and thinking about them might not necessarily be too clear. Then I tell you, recently I have been speaking about Samuel. That is definitely better than the previous version. Speaking about the Acts of the Apostles is much better than the previous version. When I spoke about Samuel and the Acts of the Apostles at that time, Chinese Mingding Destiny already had a bit of a prototype.

In the struggle of this valley of the shadow of death, I could not see hope. What I saw was: ah, when the church lost one person, 5% was gone, and when two people left, 10% was gone. After that couple left, my heart was cold. It was really hard. I heard people go to some big churches, the stage, the drum set, the song leaders, the worship leaders, wow, it was just amazing, all led by singers. Oh, let me tell you, my heart was crawling in the valley of the shadow of death. This is okay. Many years ago, when I was building the church, many crises occurred.

A prophet said: You will walk through the valley of the shadow of death, and in the end you will see God's glory. I tell you, this sentence gave me great encouragement. Although we don’t talk much about prophets and prophesying these days, we had a prophet who gave such a prophecy. At that time, I walked through a long, long, dark valley, and in the end I would see God's glory. Today I want to tell you, today you may not be doing very well, but if you are a sheep under the hand of the Lord God, He will definitely not forget you, that is, even if you walk through the valley of the shadow of death, you will not fear evil.

Some of our brothers and sisters are running their businesses. Thank God, although there are many problems every year, the performance every year is not bad. So I said this is truly God's blessing! I tell you, if a person does not experience the valley of the shadow of death, you will not know how precious God's glory is. So, every time I come out of the valley of the shadow of death, even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will not fear evil. What are you still afraid of? Until today, I live very frankly.

8. You Prepare a Table Before Me in the Presence of My Enemies

It seems that we have never studied the Psalms in our Bible study. Let's find an opportunity to study the Psalms. Today, let's do a Bible study on Psalm 23.

You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. (Psalm 23:5)

What is this saying? Actually, if you ask me, I may not be able to eat through it so thoroughly. Preparing a table is like a congratulatory banquet. Preparing a table before my enemies—oh, let me tell you, the enemies haven't been defeated yet, the enemies are still there, but the banquet has already been prepared, and the congratulatory banquet has already begun. What does it mean? Declaring a victory. Today I must tell you, if you truly trust in God's words, truly believe in Psalm 23; truly believe that even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; truly believe that the Lord God is our shepherd, and we shall not lack; believe in Him, and He will surely lead us on the path of faith, on this path of righteousness. Tell you, you will surely be victorious in front of your enemies.

Today, no matter what business you do, no matter what kind of work you do, no matter what position you are in, you will definitely have competitors, you cannot escape it. But there is one thing, that is, God will prepare a table for you in the presence of your enemies and begin to declare that you have already won before you have won. Later, which battle did David not win?

Let me give you an example: We checked Samuel for a while ago. The Philistines were going to attack Israel, that was the war where Saul and Jonathan died. That was the battle. As a result, David took refuge in people in the Philistine camp. Should he follow them? Or don't follow them? Oh, tangled, right? If he followed them, he would fight his own compatriots; if he didn't follow them, then he must be a traitor, a fake puppet army, an internal traitor, a fake. Then what? David was powerful. He said, I will go, I must go. He followed the Philistine king. Hey, amazing things happened. The leader of the Philistines would not let him go. Who saved him? God saved him. As a result, the Philistines killed Saul and Jonathan and destroyed them in that battle. Later, David became the king of the tribe of Judah. Do you think God prepared a table for him? Preparing a table for him in front of his enemies, he can do nothing and declare victory.

So today, our brothers and sisters must be smart people. God has already done many things for us, but do you have such faith? All these things are choices of faith. If a person is not blessed and not like David, it would be miserable. So I think today I have to tell everyone that everything we do prospers, everything our brothers and sisters do will prosper. Amen! That is definitely not because of you, that is because of God. Never rely on yourself, never rely on your talents, and never rely on your intelligence, rely on God, the Lord God is our shepherd.

Do you all not feel prosperous? Have you become more prosperous in the past few years? Those who have not become more prosperous, deal with the flesh inside you, deal with those carnal things inside you. That thing is called beastliness. The flesh and the demon are in the same group. Those who are carnal cannot please God, they are God's enemies, cannot please God, and cannot keep God's law. Do you understand?

9. You Anoint My Head with Oil; My Cup Overflows

Oh, this is well said. Anointing David, what to do? To let him manage God’s people, the people of Israel. Not to let him plunder the people’s fat, the people’s wealth, but to let him shepherd God’s people, so during the Davidic dynasty, the people of Israel lived a good life for decades. All the surrounding countries came to pay tribute to him. Did you think his money was all made by himself? He took out the money from the sand? No, he is not digging gold mines. Many things are tributes from this place, tributes from that place. During the reign of Solomon, these golds have come in handy.

What is the reason why God blesses you? Because God anointed your head. Anointing your head, not after anointing, applying some oil, and then you are still you, nothing change. After anointing, you must walk in God's Mingding Destiny. There are two types of people: one is King Saul, the other is King David. God also anointed Saul to be the king of Israel, but he regarded the throne as his own, but David always regarded the throne as God's gift to him, which is called Mingding Destiny. Not annointing you to be king, eating delicious food, drinking spicy wine, a pool of meat and a forest of wine, that is all eating, drinking, and playing, that won't do.

Today we receive the Mingding Destiny from God, the anointing from God. Anointing is an appointment. Anointing is not from buying a small bottle of oil from Israel and applying it to your forehead, it is useless, that thing is of no use at all. Among us, is there anyone who got a small bottle of oil from Israel and applied it on their head? It's useless, bullshit! If you apply it and it doesn't work, you will know that what I said is good. So to speak, today brothers and sisters begin to know one thing, these are all God's beautiful intentions for us. All these good things in Psalm 23 will fall on those who have Mingding Destiny.

I live for this, I was born for this, and I also die for this. This is the purpose of my coming into this world. The purpose of my coming into this world is not to run a business, not to run a school, not to run a church, not to build a large cathedral, to take out a loan from the bank to build a large cathedral, and finally unable to repay it, and have to think about running away. I came into this world to fulfill God’s beautiful will for me, which is called Mingding Destiny. I want to be a blessing to many people and build God's glorious church.

He anoints my head with oil; my cup overflows. I don’t know what these are, but I guess there must be an element of God’s election, God has chosen you and me. But today this ball is in our hands. God has kicked the ball into our hands. How do you kick this ball? Whether to catch this ball and get this Mingding Destiny? Or abandon Mingding Destiny to pursue something else? If God has chosen you and anointed you, don't be like King Saul!

I have seen many pastors whose lifelong dream is to have the physical building of the church built. That is not God's will. Building and shepherding God's flock is God's will, to be a blessing to many people. If you are blessed among us, do you owe me a favor? Then I owe God a favor, and we all owe God a favor. That is why many people are blessed, and many people are not blessed. Those with Mingding Destiny definitely have blessings, because blessings are not outside of Mingding Destiny. You read this sentence: You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.

You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. (Psalm 23:5)

Do you understand? So without Mingding Destiny, some people say to me when serving: Ah, teacher, I forgot again. Forgot? Why can't you ever forget that Sixth Brother? I think that is the key to why some people's cups overflow, and some people's cups do not overflow. I have seen some people who are very unlucky. But I am not saying that I am so stingy, I still do some shepherding for some people. A few days later, I asked him: How is your shepherding going? He said to me: Not so good. I said: Did you make a phone call? He said: No phone call. I asked why didn’t he make a phone call? He said he forgot. Then I said: Did you call your girlfriend? He told me that he could not forget that. Can you understand it? I tell you, this kind of person is unlucky for a lifetime, doing everything is unlucky!

If you live long enough, you will definitely see some people like David, and you will definitely see some people like Saul. A person with Mingding Destiny knows why they live; a person without Mingding Destiny does not even know why they are living, they simply live for the sake of living. Today I say this very seriously. Do you want the Lord God to be your shepherd? Wherever He takes you, you go. Therefore, grace and love will surely follow you. This refers to people with Mingding Destiny, referring to the sheep shepherded by the Lord God.

Sometimes when the sheepskin is uncovered, it looks like a wolf with its teeth bared, which is quite scary. So to speak, brothers and sisters, I encourage you, do not live according to the flesh, no longer live according to the flesh, but live according to the Spirit of God. Let our spirit come alive again, let us declare again that the Lord God is our shepherd, and declare again that we are people with Mingding Destiny, we live for the Mingding Destiny that God has for us, grace and love will surely follow me, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever!

This is a person who builds a church, this is a person who builds a temple. Although we are in all corners of the world and spread across the globe, we are truly fruitful and multiplying and filling the earth today. To be a blessing to this generation and build God's glorious church, because it is not that building, it is we who are going to build God's glorious church.

10. Conclusion

Know that I have a judgment inside me: some brothers and sisters come among us purely to receive grace. I will tell him: You have no love for God in your heart. So sometimes I think: Old Ma, take him away. So Old Ma really took him away, taking them away one after another. Old Ma has a good relationship with me, the entire Sixth Brother deceived her. Does everyone know what Sixth Brother is? There is a song called Exploring the Clear Water River, there is a Sixth Brother in it.

Today I want to tell you: If you once loved God and came among us with Mingding Destiny, you made a mistake and blurred everything, I don’t treat you like this. I will treat you with God’s grace and love. Do you understand? Because at least in your bones there is a heart that loves God. People make mistakes, it is not to be feared. What people fear is that there is no heart that loves God in their bones, that is completely troublesome! So, in treating people, I look at this first. But thank God, that heart that loves God is constantly revived, and we constantly walk on this path of Mingding Destiny. We will live together in the house of God forever, not in this life, but forever, how wonderful it is to have God as our shepherd!
