A Deep Dive into Lust and Human Nature

1 Today's topic: Life and death are in the power of the tongue!
The week before last, we touched on the word “lust.” One brother told me it seemed like it wasn't fully explored. Indeed, it wasn't. To explain these two words thoroughly would require a volume as thick as the Bible itself. If all the books in the world concerning social sciences were summarised in two words, they would essentially be “lust”! To understand human nature is to understand human lust. Take economics, for example. What does economics study? It studies the laws of economic operation. The economy and the market are fundamentally driven by human lust. Doing business, sales, marketing, human resources management, government, and elections are all fundamentally about people. They need to understand how human lust operates. This world is a lust-driven world. Why is there corruption? Because of the lust within people. Why is there severe political strife? Because of human lust. Regardless of the system, there is no way to solve the problem of lust. Lust is the root of all problems in the world. Lust is the soil of sin. Where there is lust, there is the problem of sin. Where there is sin, the work of the devil is rampant. The disaster-filled era we face today is the result of lust and sin. Jesus Christ came into the world to solve this fundamental problem. Therefore, Jesus taught us to nail the passions and desires of our flesh to the cross! That is through the power of Jesus Christ's resurrection from the dead. Because Christianity deals with the fundamental problem, crime rates decrease where Christianity prospers!

If one could thoroughly study the word lust, understand how the inner workings of people operate, that would be incredible. That is a real talent! Marketers understand this principle. Brand-name clothing, bags, and decorations are not selling their original function but selling the lust within people. Therefore, mastering human lust is mastering human needs. That is the talent in the market. I think that the lust within me, because of my faith, although I am still a person of temperament, has been greatly dealt with. Unlike the world, when I buy something, I still buy it for its original function. If $50 can satisfy me, I won't spend $500 for a brand. It's a bit difficult for the market to make money off people like me. The money the market makes is from those whose lust hasn’t been dealt with. And they are willing to let others earn it. This is really interesting. If you are a salesperson, you earn money from those with extreme lust. When you come to our church, we will teach you to be a smart person, so salespeople cannot deceive you out of your money. This blocks the breach of poverty.

If someone can not only understand lust but also overcome it, that is the smartest among the smart! The problem that Christ Jesus solves is enabling people to overcome the corruption of lust! Lust corrupting people is obvious. When a person is driven by inner lust, they are not far from corruption.

Recent news of Jack Ma becoming the richest man in China has stirred up lust in many people. Not only greed but also jealousy. In fact, living with hundreds of billions in assets must be exhausting. I think being able to live peacefully has become a luxury for some. What was originally a simple thing has become very difficult due to the drive of lust. Needless to say, several types of people have begun to eye Jack Ma. Jack Ma must not only deal with the pressure of market competition but also carefully deal with those who demand sponsorship, kidnapping attempts, robbery attempts, and so on. I see him getting further and further away from his dream of living a leisurely life. Anyone who has experienced the vicissitudes of life and seen the corruption of lust will exclaim, What is love in this world? That is a profound lament for those who yearn to escape the corruption of lust.

The Power of the Tongue and Spiritual Rules

Let's not talk about this; what was said earlier was just to highlight the problem of lust. We must constantly deal with lust on the path of faith. Overcoming lust will surely lead to a beautiful life! Today I want to share the deadliest of lusts, which is our tongue. It is most difficult for people to escape the corruption of lust through their tongue! The tongue is the most concentrated expression of our human lust. The telephone was a major advancement in satisfying people's desire to speak! Through the telephone, one can speak from thousands of miles away. One can speak edifying words or gossip and corrupting words. So today, telecommunications companies are large corporations. Apple became a famous large company because it made telephones. The Internet, QQ, WeChat, Line, Skype, and Twitter were all invented to satisfy people's lust for speech. If you can develop products that satisfy people’s lust for speech, I think you still have many opportunities; the potential of the Internet is far from being reached!

Back to the main topic. Today's topic is Life and Death are in the Power of the Tongue.

Let’s look at today's scripture.

2 Today’s Scripture: Proverbs 18:21
Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruits.

3 Prayer – Ask the Lord Jesus to cover with His precious blood the words from our tongues that do not edify.
Lord Jesus, we are all people with unclean lips. Grant us a humble and teachable heart, and grant us the fire from the altar of heaven to cleanse our lips, so that we may speak the words you want us to speak! Make us instruments that you can use, give us your likeness, enable us to do what you did on earth, serve this generation with your heavenly words, and bless this generation! May your glory be increasingly manifested among us!

Lord, grant us the fire from the altar of heaven, so that our prayers may reach your throne, and may our service pave the way for your return!

In the name of the Lord Jesus, Amen!

4 The Curse of Gossip – Examples from the Bible
The Bible records something that is difficult for people to understand. Noah was blessed by God and began to cultivate the land, resulting in a great harvest. He became slightly indulgent in lust and got drunk, lying naked in his tent. His son Ham went in and saw this and told his brothers, Look, Dad is drunk and naked in the tent. Most people can't see what the problem is. As a result, Ham and his son Canaan were cursed. Most people don’t understand. But this is the Bible. We have no right to comment on whether this is right or wrong. If you comment on the rights and wrongs of this passage, I think the problem is more serious than Ham's. Why does the Bible write this? What does the Bible want to tell us? It turns out that gossiping, even when it’s the truth, will be cursed. Did Ham say something wrong? No, he told the truth! But why was he cursed even though he wasn't wrong? This is the rule set by God. God does not judge by right or wrong but by authority. Noah was Ham's father, Ham’s authority. Ham gossiped about his authority. Even if it was the truth, he would be cursed! This is the rule set by God. You may say what kind of rule is this? But whether you like it or not, understand it or not, the world we live in is governed by these spiritual rules. It’s like gravity. It’s not a simple problem; it’s a very serious problem.

The Authority of the Tongue and Spiritual Submission

Let me give another example. Moses in the wilderness, an old man in his nineties: Num 12:1 Moses married a Cushite woman, and Miriam and Aaron criticised him because of the Cushite woman he had married. Num 12:2 They said, Has the Lord spoken only through Moses? Hasn’t he also spoken through us? And the Lord heard this. Why were you not afraid to criticise my servant Moses? Num 12:9 The anger of the Lord burned against them, and he left them. Num 12:10 When the cloud lifted from above the tent, Miriam was leprous, like snow. Aaron saw that Miriam was leprous. Num 12:11 And Aaron said to Moses, “Please, my lord, do not hold against us the sin we have so foolishly committed. Later Moses prayed for them. God healed her. Miriam and Aaron were also telling the truth; what Moses did was indeed not very good. That was a fact. But the curse still came upon them.

Moses in the wilderness not only faced the rebellion and gossip of the common people but also the rebellion and gossip of middle-level leaders like Korah. Moses also had to face the rebellion and gossip of his own sister and brother, the people closest to him. Thank God that God chose Moses and will be determined to establish his authority.

We are also building the church today in the same way. Brothers and sisters, you must discern who your authority is, and in any case, you must learn a lesson, which is to escape the curse of gossip! We will face gossip at the grassroots level, gossip at the middle level, and gossip from the highest-level leaders.

Brothers and sisters, how many times have we criticised our authority behind their backs? God does not allow people to judge their authority! How many times have we been dissatisfied with our authority, speaking ill of them behind their backs, as if what we say is the truth? Seeing Noah and Canaan’s curse and Miriam’s leprosy, we must be vigilant and careful! If there is a need to confess and repent, I am the first. I did not see this light when I read the Bible before. I have not heard about submission, commitment, and unity of doctrine in church. Although we didn’t know, we still unknowingly received a curse and violated God’s spiritual laws.

Authority is ordained by God. Be especially careful of any authority above you, especially the spiritual authority in the church!

Brothers and sisters, I think Ham and Miriam are the same; they saw that the actions of their authority were not quite right, and they really couldn’t control their tongues. It’s hard to bear not saying it! It’s not because what they said was wrong. It’s because it offended the authority ordained by God. Exceeding one’s authority is like a foul in football; it will be cursed! My wife and I are not perfect people. Our cell group leaders and caretakers are not perfect people. There are too many faults to find in us. It’s not because your criticism of us behind our backs is unreasonable; even if it is reasonable, it will bring loss! I know it is difficult to restrain one’s tongue. In fact, when dealing with the things of our lust, dealing with our innate temperament, is anything easy?

Life and death are in the power of the tongue. If you can control your tongue, that is the greatest victory! You will surely gain life! If you are defeated by the tongue, following the lust of the tongue, you will surely suffer loss and be cursed!

Don't think gossiping, just chatting idly, saying whatever comes to mind, is nothing. It invites corruption.

Few Words, Much Blessing: The Wisdom of the Tongue and Building the Church

I thank God that when God created me, he made me a person of few words. When there are few words, one is truly blessed. When I was 5 years old, I didn’t speak. My grandmother said, Is this child mute? As a result, she clapped behind me. I could hear it and turned my head. They were relieved and said I wasn’t mute. Later in middle school, I also didn’t speak much. When I went to Singapore, when I was working, when we went to restaurants together, I didn't speak either. When people were gossiping, I just smiled. That was a great advantage! Nothing bad ever fell on my head, but I got all the good things. Just speak less and focus on working! Looking back, I regret that I later became so talkative! It’s not good to have too many words. Recently, when brothers and sisters ask me about problems at work, I often say, Focus on working and speak less. This is wisdom!

We Chinese people understand the corruption brought about by human speech the most! The so-called trouble comes from the mouth is the result of our observation of things. Since trouble comes from the mouth, managing our tongue is the most important lesson in our lives. Manage it well, and you will live well; manage it poorly, and you will not live well. When we Chinese created characters, we knew that having too many words would bring great problems. A person dreamed that two dogs were talking to each other. When he woke up, he went to someone to interpret the dream. The interpreter told him that he was going to jail. Two dogs talking to each other, isn’t that the character for prison? I am amazed by the creation of Chinese characters. The character for prison is related to speech! Two people speaking corrupting words to each other—that is not prison; that is hell! This is life and death in the power of the tongue. Our church must promote building relationships with each other, but we must also be careful not to let building relationships, understanding each other, and communicating turn into gossiping! That is very dangerous.

One of our cell group leaders is doing a good job. He strictly prohibits brothers and sisters from criticising leaders behind their backs! I encourage brothers and sisters to know that this is grace! If you have a problem, don't gossip below and go off track. Emotions come up, and there is no restraint on the mouth; negative things that invite curses come out.

In fact, let me tell you, Miriam, Aaron, and Ham, if they had only thought about it in their hearts and didn't say it, the curse would not have come upon them! But they thought about it in their hearts and couldn’t control themselves, so they said it.

5 The first thing to deal with in building a glorious church is people’s tongues!
In 2011, we began the road of building a glorious church. The first battle was to deal with human tongues. These were the gossipers and the judges of leaders. Thank the Lord that through the power of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, the dark power of gossip was quickly defeated! The second battle was to deal with the spirit of immorality. Thank the Lord that through the power of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, we won again! The third battle was to deal with the religious spirit, and thank the Lord, we won again! After that, miracles and wonders came like mushrooms after rain!

I think that in the process of church growth, we must transform every new brother and sister and repeatedly deal with these dark powers again! It seems that these dark powers are stirring again in the church through the untransformed newcomers.

In the beginning, our church was not corrupted. But then some people came who were very enthusiastic on the surface. After the meeting, they went to eat hot pot, and while eating, they talked, giving the pastor and church many shortcomings, and as they talked, the devil came. People were corrupted. Later, the church became a big dyeing vat. Whoever came was corrupted. To this day, I still have a fear of hot pot gossip. When I hear that everyone is going to eat hot pot and chat, I worry. Especially when there is no leader around. Sometimes, even if there are leaders present, they carelessly fall prey to it. Be vigilant! Do not conform, do not fawn, but resist.

The Power of the Tongue and the Purity of the Church

The little tongue has great power. It is the greatest obstacle to building a glorious church! Therefore, recently, the church has been promoting building relationships, sharing more, and chatting more about life. I am very worried. I worry that people will be corrupted. It’s not because what they say is unreasonable; even a child knows that it can’t corrupt people. It’s because what they say is very reasonable, what they say are the facts, and what is really happening—that's what corrupts people!

Today, as you listen to me, think about one thing: how many corrupting words have you spoken? If you remember, quickly ask the Lord Jesus for his precious blood to cover you! Repent! In fact, we often think that when we ourselves speak corrupting words, we are corrupting others, but in fact, we are corrupting ourselves!

Recently, in one of our groups, the leader was leading with gossip, also spreading rumours and telling lies, and then someone cried for several days! You see, a small tongue can make people like this! How terrible. Today, I will show you how the devil works. Brother JW told the brothers and sisters in the group (thankfully, there was no hot pot this time) and told everyone one thing: you can’t tell anyone else! — Did you see the devil working? He is playing with hiding. What did he tell everyone? He said, Sister F is in love with me! The devil’s lie came in! He was sure that what he was saying was true. But it wasn't! It was a lie. This lie had been brewing in him for a long time! As a result, our group leader didn't even know the devil had come! No one knew. One of the little S sisters felt itchy and couldn't control her tongue, so she told sister F on the phone. Did you see how the devil corrupted people through the tongue? They didn’t even know they were cursed because of it! Sister F called the cell group leader. Wow, things got more and more serious! The cell group leader then talked vaguely, just not telling the truth! This made sister F very angry. “How can the church be darker than the world?” She cried for several days! Until my wife and I intervened! Was the problem solved? No. People's tongues are so hard to deal with! Without hot pot, tongues can still corrupt people! Brothers and sisters, be careful!

Brothers and sisters, listen to my word of advice. We all worked very hard to come out of the devil's corruption and established a church with God's presence. We can’t be without God, and we can’t let God leave us! Do not gossip. Gossiping can lose God's presence. Even if what we say is right, what is the point of losing God's presence?

Let’s see what the Apostle James said. I encourage everyone to go back and read this passage carefully several times.

Greetings.

Lessons on the Tongue and Spiritual Wisdom in James

Jas 3:1 My brethren, be not many masters, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation. Jas 3:2 For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body. Jas 3:3 Behold, we put bits in the horses' mouths, that they may obey us; and we turn about their whole body. Jas 3:4 Behold also the ships, which though they be so great, and are driven of fierce winds, yet are they turned about with a very small helm, whithersoever the governor listeth. Jas 3:5 Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth! Jas 3:6 And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell. Jas 3:7 For every kind of beasts, and of birds, and of serpents, and of things in the sea, is tamed, and hath been tamed of mankind: Jas 3:8 But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison. Jas 3:9 Therewith bless we God, even the Father; and therewith curse we men, which are made after the similitude of God. Jas 3:10 Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be. Jas 3:11 Doth a fountain send forth at the same place sweet water and bitter? Jas 3:12 Can the fig tree, my brethren, bear olive berries? either a vine, figs? so can no fountain both yield salt water and fresh. Jas 3:13 Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom. Jas 3:14 But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth. Jas 3:15 This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish. Jas 3:16 For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work. Jas 3:17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. Jas 3:18 And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace. Jas 4:1 From whence come wars and fightings among you? come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members? Jas 4:2 Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not. Jas 4:3 Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts. Jas 4:4 Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God. Jas 4:5 Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy? Jas 4:6 But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble. Jas 4:7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Jas 4:8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. Jas 4:9 Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness. Jas 4:10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up. Jas 4:11 Speak not evil one of another, brethren. He that speaketh evil of his brother, and judgeth his brother, speaketh evil of the law, and judgeth the law: but if thou judge the law, thou art not a doer of the law, but a judge. Jas 4:12 There is one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy: who art thou that judgest another?

The Spiritual Connection of the Tongue and the Power of Words

James got it right! Let us give Apostle James a round of applause! I believe he is in heaven, and knowing that we are reading the Word of God he wrote, he must be very comforted! He must be happy for us! Because we are beginning to know God's will!

Brothers and sisters, know that the Book of James in the Bible is about the tongue! It is full of wisdom. Although Apostle James only left this one epistle, it is a must-read for Christians! Go back and read it carefully! If you can understand the Book of James, you will truly know God's will!

What is the foundation of our church? It is putting God's Word into practice! This is the theme of the Book of James!

6 Life and death are in the power of the tongue – because the tongue connects to the spiritual world. Brothers and sisters, I urge you with the faithfulness of God, let us together overcome in dealing with gossip! Know that our tongue can connect to the fire of hell, and our tongue can also connect to the fire of God's altar in heaven!

What we say determines where our tongue is connected! This is what the Bible teaches us. This is the Word of God. It is not to be taken lightly!

When I was a child, my parents taught me, if you see someone with a disability, never make fun of them. Those who make fun of others will be punished. At that time, there was a child in our compound who was a few years older than me, who spoke very fluently, but later became a stutterer. Why? Because he made fun of people who stuttered. Later, he himself became a stutterer. Some people did not have the curse fall on them, but it fell on their sons. You see, how serious are the words people speak! I think many people have thought about it in their hearts, and laughed in their hearts, but did not say it out loud, and as a result, nothing happened. It is only those who speak it out loud who are cursed. You see how important it is to control our mouths, our tongues.

Our mouth can cause death. It can also bring life! Therefore, we should not speak words that corrupt people, but we should often speak words that edify and bless people!

There are many scriptures in the Bible about speaking:

Proverbs 25:11 A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in pictures of silver.

Proverbs 12:18 There is that speaketh like the piercings of a sword: but the tongue of the wise is health.

1 Peter 3:9 Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing. 1 Peter 3:10 For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile: 1 Peter 3:11 Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it.

Peter is quoting Psalm 34: Psm 34:12 What man is he that desireth life, and loveth many days, that he may see good? Psm 34:13 Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile. Psm 34:14 Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it. Psm 34:15 The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry. Psm 34:16 The face of the Lord is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth. Psm 34:17 The righteous cry, and the Lord heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles. Psm 34:18 The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit. Psm 34:19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all.

James 1:26 If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain.

The Spiritual Power of the Tongue and the Testimony of Faith

Isa 50:4 The Lord God hath given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him that is weary: he wakeneth morning by morning, he wakeneth mine ear to hear as the learned. Isa 50:5 The Lord God hath opened mine ear, and I was not rebellious, neither turned away back. Isa 50:6 I gave my back to the smiters, and my cheeks to them that plucked off the hair: I hid not my face from shame and spitting. Isa 50:7 For the Lord God will help me; therefore shall I not be confounded: therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed. Isa 50:8 He is near that justifieth me; who will contend with me? let us stand together: who is mine adversary? let him come near to me.

Brothers and sisters, our tongue is a spiritual world! Gossip can corrupt people, but if we speak the Rhema that God gives us in faith, life will be edified! Miracles and wonders will appear, lives will be transformed, and God's glory will be revealed!

7 Conclusion: The word of life is in your mouth and in your heart – believe in your heart and confess with your mouth and you will be saved. Brothers and sisters, do not think that this way is difficult to follow, this way is in our mouth and in our heart! Moses' law is also not difficult to follow, as long as you believe in your heart, determine to follow God, love God, and desire God, then all problems will be solved! God will become your strength, your rock, your everything!

Rom 10:8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; Rom 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. Rom 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Rom 10:11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

Tell the person next to you, this way is not far from you, it is in your mouth and in your heart!

Whoever trusts in the Lord Jesus will not be ashamed!

There is a testimony on today's leaflet. This testimony is achieved through our heart and our mouth. If we believe in our heart and confess with our mouth, we will be saved!

May the mouths of brothers and sisters be a blessing to many people! Amen!

(Below is a testimony we received from Shaanxi, through long-distance ministry – September 26, 2014)

Pastor and Mother, brothers and sisters, peace in the Lord, I am Sister LY, the following is my testimony:

Testimony of Faith and the Power of the Tongue

Brothers and sisters, thanks be to the grace of the Lord. Sister LY’s testimony once again reminds us that the power of the tongue can not only bring corruption, but also bring healing and blessing. Through prayer and proclamation of faith, miracles happen among us. Let us keep in mind that the tongue is not only a spiritual connection point, but also an expressive tool of our faith.

May each of us use our tongues to speak words that edify and bless people, and become witnesses of God's glory. Amen!

When my baby was about two months old, a patch of rash the size of a fingernail appeared on his left face. At that time, the rash was light pink in color and inconspicuous, so it did not attract my attention. I thought it was normal for babies to have rashes and would disappear automatically after a while. But after a while, the rash the size of a fingernail began to turn red and enlarged. My mother applied some rash-removing medicated oil to him, and the rash faded slightly, but then it would come back. The size of the fingernail had become the size of a coin. After consulting, I thought it was a kind of milk癣, and began to do cleansing prayers for him every day, reading the Bible and listening to worship and praise songs. After a period of time, the rash slowly disappeared, leaving only a little trace. I thought it was about to heal, but overnight, all the rashes came back, and the area was larger and the color was darker than before. After seeing the doctor, the doctor diagnosed it as eczema, and it healed in two or three days after applying the medicine. After that, I followed the doctor’s advice and applied it for a week, but the rash did not subside, but became more serious, so I stopped using the medicine. During this period, I insisted on praying for him every day, but the rash still did not improve, but became more and more serious. Most of the left side of the face was covered, and the right side of the face also began to appear, and it began to itch. The baby kept scratching his face. At this time, it had been nearly two months since the first discovery of the rash. When I went to the hospital again, I was told that it was severe eczema and had been infected. The doctor prescribed some hormone-containing drugs. I did not use them after returning home, and started to change to partially hydrolyzed milk powder for him, and apply some baby-friendly olive oil on the surface of his skin, and continue to pray for him. At this time, the situation began to improve. The improvement was that the color of the eczema on the baby's skin surface became lighter, but the area expanded somewhat. When I thought it was recovering, a lot of new rashes appeared in the original place overnight.

During this period, I kept praying and often fasted and prayed. But it kept recurring. Later, the pastor taught me to move back to my mother's house, because the house I lived in was left by my father-in-law when he was alive. There were still many things in it before he was alive. Many of them belonged to things that should be destroyed. After moving back to my mother's house, the child's skin did not improve. The pastor then arranged for a long prayer on September 16. The prayer started at 11 o'clock, and the appearance of the face was terrifying (see picture 4). Two or three hours passed, and there was no obvious improvement. At half past two, it began to recede. At half past three, the skin was already a large area of white and tender skin, with only some red spots (see picture 6). It was obviously different from the appearance before the prayer. During the prayer, we saw a dragon-like ghost licking the child's face. Later, that thing left. Through this experience, I know that the child's skin disease comes from spiritual things. In the next few days, I applied some tapioca flour to him, and the eczema completely disappeared in just two or three days (see picture 9)! Thank the Lord for healing my baby once again. At that time, I also told the pastor about my long-term cough problem. The pastor led me in a simple prayer, and my long-term cough was also cured! Thank the Lord for his grace, and also thank the pastor and his wife for their ministry and teaching during this period, constantly increasing my faith in my heart, and not losing faith in the Lord when the baby's illness was serious, and constantly praying for victory, and also thank the brothers and sisters for their ministry and care. Thank the Lord for giving us not a timid heart, but a strong, loving, and disciplined heart, and for allowing us to pray, fight, and win when we are in difficulty, pain, weakness, and sadness!

By the wounds of Jesus Christ, we are healed! This healing does not require any other conditions, just believe that this promise is true! This time, I have learned the lesson of faith again! I think, in the future, I will also be like a pastor, with unwavering faith, firmly grasping God's promises, and serving those in need!

Amen!
