I. The Origin of Chinese Mingding Destiny

Greetings, everyone! Starting today, we will be studying the new version of Genesis. This is particularly good because I feel that I have grown! When I look back at the Genesis I have taught over and over again, I always feel that it is not quite right, so I have to teach the new version of Genesis. In terms of mobile phone versions, there is iPhone 1, iPhone 2, iPhone 3, iPhone 4... Now it is iPhone 13, and iPhone 14 will be out soon. It is quite interesting to talk about it this way.

Today, as we teach Genesis, we are also constantly upgrading and iterating. This is a very important characteristic of Chinese Mingding Destiny, that is, constantly updating and constantly having new understandings of God. Isn't this normal? Which discipline does not move forward? However, for the past one or two thousand years, the church has almost entered a state of stagnation, perhaps unchanged for decades. However, the Chinese Mingding Destiny church changes every three to six months, constantly changing. Have you noticed? However, in the process of believing in the Lord in the local church, I found that it has not changed for ten or twenty years, and some people have not changed for hundreds of years. This is very strange! Do you still use iPhone 4 now? It looks so ugly and cannot be used. I think that knowing God is an endless matter. How can it not be changed? Can everyone understand?

Now, Chinese Mingding Destiny wants to change the concept of the church in this generation. In fact, the early church was "turned upside down." Why? Because some people wanted to bring in guitars and drum sets. The older generation said: No, there must be an organ. In fact, this is living in old wineskins. We must know that God is a God who does new things, that is, new wine in new wineskins. What does it mean? It means that after half a year of use, is it new or old? Half-new and half-old, then we will change it to new, constantly replacing the old with the new.

There are many versions of Genesis taught by Chinese Mingding Destiny. We do not care how many versions we have taught. Today's version is the 2022 version. No matter how many years, there will be updated versions in the future. The origin of Chinese Mingding Destiny is inseparable from Genesis. Because Genesis brought the earliest revelation to Chinese Mingding Destiny. How did it bring it? Because when I led everyone to study Genesis and read the first sentence, I was stunned.

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. (Genesis 1:1)

If I tell people this way, I don't know how to explain it. As the founder of Chinese Mingding Destiny, I must say that this is closely related to Genesis. God created Genesis, and I created Chinese Mingding Destiny. Today I want to tell everyone: Chinese Mingding Destiny is a theology that is more in line with the Bible, not only a theology but also a theological system. Where does this come from? It is closely related to reading the Bible.

In the past few years, how did I read the Bible? Don't think that I obediently listened to the pastor preaching the Bible below. In fact, there were many places in my heart where I disagreed. Why? It is clear that the Bible does not say this, but they are talking nonsense there. But I also have a personality, studying year after year, day after day. In the eyes of the pastor, I am definitely a good member. I dare not discuss what I am thinking with the pastor, otherwise, wouldn't this be "kicking the bucket"?

Thank God! When I built the church, I couldn't do this anymore. I had to figure this out. Many years ago, when I led everyone to study Genesis, it was really "destroyed"! If someone came to "kick the bucket," they would ask me how I know that what is written in Genesis is correct. How can I answer this? According to what I said, it is simple. I can only say: I don't know. I wasn't there, and you weren't there either. What are we discussing this for?

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was formless and void, and darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was moving over the surface of the waters. (Genesis 1:1-2)

Later, I knelt down and prayed, but I didn't feel anything. God! God! I can't understand it! I don't know how to share it! My tears were really about to be squeezed out! I searched all the information on the Internet, but I didn't think it was written correctly, but I didn't have my own correct way. Isn't this fatal? However, after praying for two weeks, God's word came in, and that sentence was so good! I have told the process of God talking to me countless times. The difference between my teaching of Genesis and the outside teaching is quite big. Why? Because mine really comes from prayer, and I am not fooling everyone at all.

At that time, I had time, and I didn't have a job. I was serving God full-time. I didn't have anyone, and I didn't have any service, unlike today, when I am quite busy serving. Whenever I had time, I knelt down and prayed, praying for two hours, three hours... There was nothing to do. In fact, I have read the first chapter of Genesis a hundred or two hundred times, and I don't know what it is saying. So, I went to ask God. God said: The theme of the first chapter of Genesis is "You are created in my image." I said: Yes, I knew it long ago. God said: Yes, do as I do. My God! God created the heavens and the earth in the beginning. Can I go back to the beginning and make another heaven and earth with God? I make a lump of mud and paint a globe. I knead a few villains and blow a breath. The little mud man is still a little mud man. The little mud man blown by God becomes a living person with a spirit. The one I blow is still a little mud man.

If I blow a breath and make a little mud man, then I am not being funny? God said: It is not like this. In fact, this sentence is closely related to the matter of people living, because people often encounter situations of darkness over the surface of the deep and formless and void when they are living, so you need to let my Spirit move there and declare it in this way. After I heard the words that God revealed to me, I was very excited, so excited that I was about to jump up! So that's what this sentence means!

One day a brother came to me. He was about to die. His pupils were dilated, and his eyes could not focus. Because he had a girlfriend, but this woman took all his money and disappeared the day before they were to get married. It turned out that his girlfriend was a liar. She had a boyfriend herself. As a result, our brother, who had only a small amount of money, was cheated out of all of it by this woman, so he came to me to solve the problem. He is a man who needs a woman. He couldn't get married, so he met a new girlfriend on the Internet. As soon as they met, the woman asked: How much money do you earn a month? The brother said: I earn more than 1,000 Singapore dollars a month. People who live in Singapore know that earning such money is about the same as a cleaner. Alas! As soon as the girl heard it, she turned around and left.

I thought: The opportunity has come! This is a situation of darkness over the surface of the deep and formless and void, so I led our brother to pray in tongues and pray with understanding. I said: Come! Follow me and pray in tongues! In the process of praying, I kept saying words to build up his faith. I said: You will have a bright future! As a result, it wasn't long before the brother's eyes could focus again, his faith was built up again, and his eyes returned to normal, and he could talk to me normally.

Therefore, I learned a great lesson from this. It turns out that believing in the Lord is to believe in this way. I didn't know it before. If we declare and pray in faith, people will become living people with a spirit, so being filled with the Holy Spirit has become a very important thing for Chinese Mingding Destiny. This time also made me realize how important it is to understand God's word, otherwise I wouldn't know to do this. So, from that day on, after reading God's word, I went to do it step by step. I thank my God! I have persisted until this moment, because I have the character of Jacob, my favorite Old Testament figure, whose character is to persevere and never give up, and I am also such a person. No wonder Jesus said in the New Testament:

Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. (Matthew 7:24)

I hear God's words and put them into practice, so I am a wise man, and I hope that everyone will become wise men. In fact, I am very fascinated by becoming wise. That is why I would kneel there for two hours to pray to God for revelation, and I did so for two weeks. Later, I realized that doing this is very good, because people will become wise.

In fact, from the beginning of my belief in the Lord, I started reading from Genesis. I want to tell everyone that I don't have the problem of criticizing people, because I see that many people like to do their own thing. From the day I believed in the Lord, I didn't dare to criticize anyone, especially some great people in the Bible, but I often heard many people on the pulpit saying: Abraham did these things badly and made mistakes. In fact, when I heard this, I would scold in my heart, how can you say that? I knew clearly that this was not the way of God, so I fell asleep below.

Because in the Bible, God clearly said: I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. So I thought: You little ones, how dare you criticize the people whom God is pleased with. I often heard this kind of sermon, and I felt very uncomfortable in my heart, because I knew that these were the people whom God was pleased with. I didn't dare to criticize. I often thought that if things were not done well, it was because I didn't do them right, so this is how Chinese Mingding Destiny came about. In Chinese Mingding Destiny, there is a very important concept, that is, imitation—that is, hearing God's word and putting it into practice, and then imitating Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Joseph.

Today, after you have heard what I have shared, you can go back to the Bible again, and you will find that what Chinese Mingding Destiny preaches is more in line with the Bible. I really want to imitate the great people in the Bible, and then I started to study the Bible. I started to like Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Joseph. I liked them to such an extent that I said to God: God! Can you let me meet Abraham in a dream? As a result, I haven't seen him until now.

If I go to heaven in the future, the first people I will see are Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Joseph, the four of them. They are all very powerful people. Looking back at this generation, you will find that there are too many historians and philosophers, and the most are critics, experts who specialize in picking faults, and these people have become my negative reference for believing in the Lord.

Because the current generation is like this, I founded a new theological system that is more in line with the Bible, which is Chinese Mingding Destiny. A practice school that practices God's word—an imitation school that imitates Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Joseph in the Old Testament, and imitates Jesus Christ and the Apostle Paul in the New Testament. This is the key to believing in the Lord. Therefore, from 2013, we began to form a theological system that is consistent with the present, preaching that God is the God of the living, not the God of the dead. These logical systems are all about people living.

Some time ago, I just updated a version of the 101 course. The 101 course discusses the basic framework of Chinese Mingding Destiny in detail. If you learn the basic framework of Chinese Mingding Destiny well, plus the 50 chapters of Genesis, you will have a license to live. Today, let's start to get rid of the historians, philosophers, and fault-picking experts, and let's start to be living experts and learn to be people who know how to live. If a person doesn't know how to live, then his life will be tragic. Today, when we look up, we will see thousands of ways to live, but none of them live like a person. Some people always think that living with money is very good. Is this really the case? If you ask me, I don't think so. I think it's good to live like Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

This is how Chinese Mingding Destiny came about. After repeated practice, a whole set of concepts was formed. God's will in the New Testament Bible is the church. Building the church is building the body of Jesus Christ. Building the body of Jesus Christ is the temple of God, the dwelling place of God's Spirit. With God's Spirit, it is easy to pray in this place. Then you will find that you can understand God's word after reading it, and you will live out God's glorious image. We want to restore God's glorious image step by step, which requires us to change many of our basic concepts.

II. The Method of Bible Reading in Chinese Mingding Destiny

The method of Bible reading in Chinese Mingding Destiny is very important. If you read the Bible according to the method of a philosopher, you are reading it as a philosopher; if you are a historian, you are reading it as a historian; if you are an archaeologist, you are reading it as an archaeologist. However, Chinese Mingding Destiny reads God's word alive, that is, after reading God's word, you can put it into practice. It is to read out God's will, to know what God wants us to do and how to do it. This is very important. If someone classifies Chinese Mingding Destiny as Pentecostal, he will feel that it is not right. He will feel that we are not like Pentecostals, because we read the Bible very seriously, and even our pursuit of God's word far exceeds that of traditional evangelicals.

I don't dare to compare with others, but in terms of reading the Bible, ordinary people can't compare with us. I will say something real, not to criticize others. Many churches are afraid of encountering Eastern Lightning, the believers of Almighty God mixed in their churches. Because the believers of Almighty God like to go to other churches to "fish." Many pastors are frightened when they hear about Eastern Lightning and Almighty God. Why? Because they don't read the Bible as much as the people of Eastern Lightning and Almighty God. If you can't read as much as them, you will be stunned when you hear it, and this will be a bit troublesome.

If someone asks us if we are worried, we are not worried, because Eastern Lightning can't read the Bible as much as we do, and they don't explain it as clearly as we do. We will not mix into other churches to "fish" like Eastern Lightning. We don't do such things either. When people come, pray well, we hope that they will return to their own church and continue to do well. We never steal sheep. Instead, others come to steal ours. But it doesn't matter, we have a lot of spiritual food.

Why does Chinese Mingding Destiny have a lot of spiritual food? It is because of the method of Bible reading in Chinese Mingding Destiny. The most important thing is to return to the original text of the Bible. We put a lot of effort into each of our Bible readings. Therefore, I encourage brothers and sisters not to eat second-hand food. Today, I will set a small goal for everyone, that is, to read Genesis ten times. There is also a small goal, that is, to analyze and understand what God wants to tell us in this passage, what God wants us to do, and how God wants us to do it. This is the method of Bible reading in Chinese Mingding Destiny.

If you read God's word but don't put it into practice, it is like a foolish man building his house on the sand. I have a good hope, that is, I hope that everyone can become a wise man. If you want to become a wise man, let's read God's word together. The goal of our Bible reading is to put it into practice. Therefore, the goal of our Bible reading is to know what God wants us to do and how God wants us to do it after reading God's word, to read out God's meaning and put our own meaning aside. If you always do your own thing, it will be troublesome. These years, I have found that the older people get, the more troublesome they become. The older people get, the more self-righteous they become.

So later Jesus said that people should be like children. People really need to learn from children. This person is over fifty years old, and I am teaching him programming and writing code. He often asks me why he should learn programming. I said there is no why, just do it. He is not very satisfied with my answer. However, the teenagers in our midst learn to write programs very quickly. But his mother is still stuck in the "why." I really want to beat her up. Why is this so? The older people get, the more they have their own way of doing things. I don't know where their way of doing things comes from, but it is very fatal. So we must learn to be like children. Jesus said this is very meaningful.

I teach programming, and children learn many times faster than their mothers. Isn't this very strange? Young children in our midst, I can tell you, you must pay attention. The most fatal thing is that age grows, but nothing else grows. There is a saying in Northeast China: "The older you get, the more you go back, that is, the older you get, the worse your ability becomes." Today, let's turn back like children, not hoping that your skin will be like a child's, but that your inner self will turn back like a child's. If you are humble and soft, won't you learn things faster? So I have a small request for everyone: after reading it ten times, analyze, understand, and pray if you don't understand. I don't want you to eat my second-hand food all day long.

I have set an example for you. You can refer to my example, but don't just copy it without thinking. It is useless to copy blindly without thinking. How are the pastors in our midst trained? I will tell you that after I finish teaching them, I will let go and let them teach Genesis. Everyone teaches it ten or twenty times. I tell you that when you are pastoring, the first chapter of Genesis is the most useful.

Although some people have many problems, and their eyes are not right, and their pupils cannot focus, when they come to our midst, I will tell them that you have God's glorious image on you, and God has a good plan for you. Isn't it good to hear this? But this is all taught in the first chapter of Genesis. What Chinese Mingding Destiny teaches is to encourage you. Even if you don't pastor anyone, it's good to talk to your girlfriends. Many people like to listen.

Today, let's start like children and return to the original text of the Bible, analyze, and understand. Throw away your preconceived nonsense, and then write notes, sort out the concepts mentioned in the Bible chapter by chapter, and adjust them clearly according to God's meaning. Genesis is the foundation and framework of the entire faith. All the foundational concepts and frameworks are in Genesis, so reading Genesis is very important. When reading Genesis, you must follow the method of Bible reading in Chinese Mingding Destiny. Don't read it as a historical story, and it will be nothing. After reading it, alas! God created the heavens and the earth, and I was not there, but the problem is not whether God wants you to be there or not. You have to grasp what God means.

In the entire Christian theology, we see many absurd things that are not in line with the Bible. Today, we Chinese Mingding Destiny will adjust them one by one through Genesis. Adjust the absurd things according to Genesis, and you will have a license to live. God will issue you a license to live, and you will have a certificate, and you can follow the path of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Joseph. You have a license, and someone says: "You can hit the road." Doesn't it sound a bit strange? The word "hit the road" cannot be used indiscriminately in Chinese! Which road are you going to take? The road to the kingdom of heaven is even more frightening.

III. Genesis is the Foundation and Framework of the Bible

Many years ago, before I believed in the Lord, I had a Bible. When I started reading Genesis, it was not what I imagined. I imagined that the Bible was a scripture, and it should be difficult to understand. It should be written like the Tao Te Ching, and at the beginning, you can't understand what people are saying. That's what a scripture should be like. At the beginning of the Bible, it says, "Let there be something, and there was something." I felt that it didn't seem like a "scripture." We haven't learned much and haven't understood the Tao Te Ching, so we feel that reading the Bible should be like reading the Tao Te Ching. But when I read Genesis, it's all stories, but these stories are very good and are the foundation of the entire Bible. Remember, after reading it, don't say that the Tao that can be spoken is not the eternal Tao, and the name that can be named is not the eternal name. You don't know what I'm saying?

Some time ago, one of our sisters actually bought a copy of the Tao Te Ching, and I took it. I opened the first chapter and the first section for her. You must know that I am a top student, and I care a lot about the first chapter and the first sentence when I read a book. Don't think that I have understood the Tao Te Ching. No, it's just the first sentence. Sometimes it's like this when singing. I can only sing those simple two sentences, and I can't sing the others. That's the situation. But Genesis is the first book of the Bible, and it's very important. I'm a top student, and I'm telling you that the first chapter of everything is very important. Everyone can slowly ponder it. Many people think that I'm very familiar with it, but in fact, I've only read those two sentences in the first chapter. Fortunately, when God wrote Genesis, he didn't write that the Tao that can be spoken is not the eternal Tao.

Don't say that after I read Genesis, I read the Tao Te Ching again. I found that if the Tao can be practiced, then this Tao is not an ordinary Tao. I think my explanation is very good! One Tao can be known, and the other Tao can be practiced. Later, it said that the name that can be named is not the eternal name. If your name is like Abraham, then it is not an ordinary name. That is the name that can be named, not the eternal name, that is, the name that can be spoken, that is not an ordinary name. This "Israel" is the name that can be named, not the eternal name. Because the name "Israel" means that he has won in wrestling with people and God. I said that I have Jacob's character, which is very good. That is the name that can be named! God once said to Abraham that he would make his name great, which is amazing! Fortunately, the Bible is not written in a literary style, and God's will is obvious!

I have a concept that any concept that contradicts or conflicts with the concepts in Genesis, we should return to Genesis and take Genesis as the standard. Because Genesis forms a system, it builds a framework for the system. That is what I usually say, Genesis is the foundation and framework of the Bible. Next week, we will continue to talk about the later chapters of Genesis, and you will know what I am talking about.

Throughout the New Testament Bible, the reason why we want to build God's glorious church is because people can restore the glorious image of God when he created man, which is consistent from beginning to end. The entire concept must be constantly adjusted. People are not created to see through the world of mortals, and a group of good men and women are chanting scriptures there. The purpose of creating people is to manage the birds in the air, the beasts on the ground, and the fish in the sea. People come into the world to manage all things in the world. This purpose has never changed. Some people say that they don't care anymore, they have seen through the world of mortals and want to lie down, which is nonsense.

What are we managing today? Chinese Mingding Destiny is very practical. I want to bring everyone to God's good intentions. May God work with me to bring people to God and let everyone restore the image of God when he created man and become wise managers. Therefore, the "grace of redemption" cannot be established once it is separated from Genesis. Chinese Mingding Destiny redefines many concepts. Among them, "redemption" is to restore the glorious image of God when he created us. This is what Jesus accomplished for us on the cross, not that you are still the same after redemption.

The gospel of Christ Jesus is not to shape a group of lazy, stupid, greedy, and selfish losers. We must know that redemption is not a group of people who are lazy, evil, greedy, stupid, and waiting to go to heaven after death. This is not the image of God at all. Chinese Mingding Destiny has actually reorganized many things such as faith and redemption. If the later things contradict Genesis, then Genesis shall prevail, because God's will was revealed before the creation of the world.

Genesis tells many stories, why not talk about "The Tao that can be spoken is not the eternal Tao; the name that can be named is not the eternal name." I don't know what this is saying, and ordinary people can't explain it well, at least the book I have in my hand now can't explain it clearly. It says that the Tao cannot be clearly expressed in words, and if it can, it is not the Tao we are talking about. This is completely opposite to my translation. Fortunately, Genesis is not like this.

IV. Emulation is Key

Everyone desires a good life. In the Bible, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Joseph lived exemplary lives, veritable "masters of life." Today, we must understand the importance of emulation. Recently, one of our colleagues bought several books. You know, Kazuo Inamori is a monk, yet his writings seem more progressive than many Christians' thoughts. In fact, despite being a monk, many of the things he has realised are more in line with God's heart. After reading his books "How to Live" and "How to Work," I found that what he says is similar to what I say – in short, it's very good.

Now, back to Genesis. Fortunately, it contains many stories rather than a bunch of rules, allowing us to learn to emulate Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. We must understand that their purposes in life were different. I have always told you that one crucial point is that unclear goals, vague strategies, and incorrect methods are the keys to a ruined life. These three things must be clarified: the goal must be clear, the strategy must be explicit, and the method must be correct. We should aim for similar goals, strategies, and methods as Abraham, and as we live, we will find God with us.

We should not criticise Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, or Joseph, because they were all masters of life, and we are not as smart as they were. Fortunately, they were not perfect, otherwise, we would not be able to learn completely. Today, we must know for sure that inheritance and emulation are very important concepts when reading the Bible. We must emulate their goals, purposes in life, strategies, and methods. Stay away from what God dislikes.

"I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you." (Genesis 12:3)

Do not criticise Abraham, Isaac, or Jacob. The Bible says that those who curse them will be cursed, and those who bless them will be blessed. The reason I am blessed is that I emulate and inherit from them. How dare I criticise them? And fortunately, they are not perfect, but they can do what pleases God. Precisely because they are not perfect, there is an opportunity for improvement. Some people criticise Abraham for not consulting his wife when he offered Isaac. Why would she think that way? Because that is the kind of person she is: she wants her husband to consult her on everything. But fortunately, he did not consult her, because if he had, things might not have worked out, and he would have ultimately violated God's will.

Others say that Joseph was sold into Egypt and Jacob left home, and they were both cursed, so they did not attend their mother's funeral. In fact, Abraham did not attend his father's funeral either. Attending funerals is not that important; what is important is to emulate what pleases God.

V. No Blessing Outside of Mingding Destiny

"Mingding Destiny" speaks of why we live, which is the first question we must solve. If we cannot solve the problem of why we live, there is no blessing outside of Mingding Destiny. If the goal of living is wrong, strategy and method are out of the question. Some people care about their relationship with their boss, but if they live under a curse, nothing they do will work, even if you tell them the method, because the method is inseparable from the goal. If people do not know that they live and then die, that life is vanity of vanities, emulating Abraham and reading the Bible will be useless.

People must solve the problem of the goal of living, and then emulating others will be useful. Why does our Chinese Mingding Destiny encourage everyone to read the Bible? It will not delay work, and even if work is delayed, it does not matter much. Living is all spiritual, and from before creation, God created the devil. Living is closely related to the spiritual realm. Know that our God is a God who blesses people, a God who curses people, and a God who brings disasters. In Noah's time, only eight people from one family were left, and the rest were killed by God. We can only choose to be killed or not to be killed. There is no blessing outside of Mingding Destiny, and we must solve the problem of the goal.

We have a sister among us who has been a believer for many years and has hemorrhoids. Know that if a person does not have God in their life, they cannot live, but many people do not understand this. Genesis is the foundation of the entire Christian faith, and another very important book is Ecclesiastes. If you do not believe, you will live a very hard life.

Today's groundwork gives Genesis a very important position. In the next week, everyone should sort it out and digest it thoroughly. Read Genesis yourself and see if what I said is true. After you read it yourself, organise it and compare it with what we said. After organising it well, you can tell your family about it. This is a treasure trove for living. Review this matter again.

Mingding Destiny comes from Genesis. I hope everyone can become wise people, reading God's words and putting them into practice. Such a life cannot but prosper. Even if you leave home with only a stick, you will return with a large army, because our God is a very rich God, and our God is a God who lets us manage. Today I am talking about Genesis. If everyone is going to middle school, university, or doctoral studies, as long as you follow this method, you will also study well.
