Introduction
Good day to all! Today, I will be speaking on the topic God, remember me and show favour to me! This theme is drawn from the Book of Nehemiah. Perhaps many among us have not read or heard of this book. It is alright, I will share more about it. In the Book of Nehemiah, there is a sentence: God, remember me and show favour to me!
Recently, my sermons and Bible studies have inspired many brothers and sisters. The testimonies I will be sharing today are from emerging leaders among us who are ministering, releasing the captives, and serving the oppressed. Their testimonies are truly remarkable! Some have left messages saying that they were moved to tears by my sermons and Bible studies, remarking that the examples I shared were vivid and relatable.
Of course, many of the things I speak of are testimonies from my own journey, paid for with a heavy price. Many say: I want to build a victorious church, I want to offer myself to God, my heart yearns for God's temple, and I want to offer the most precious things to God. I thank God for how He has remembered me and shown favour to me in the past. May He continue to remember what I offer before Him in the days to come, so that more brothers and sisters may rise up to serve Him.
This era is an era where God wants to raise up His people, to rebuild the desolate temple, to repair the broken-down walls, and to comfort the people from suffering and humiliation. We are very fortunate to be able to participate in God's wonderful plan, and I am even more grateful to have so many brothers and sisters willing to give for God.
Where does this come from? It is because I have pioneered a path of believing in the Lord at a cost. Today, brothers and sisters are starting to look around, as one sister said: There is no limit to how selfish one can be. Today's Christians need to change; Christians need to become those who are willing to pay the price for God.
Nehemiah, in the Book of Nehemiah, is one who paid the price. In my years of serving God, with tears and sweat, the words I speak most often are: God, remember me and show favour to me. Remember what I have done for Your people and show favour to me! Why do I often speak these words? Because many times, after we serve someone, if we expect to gain something from them, all we get is disappointment. But I thank God that the testimonies of our service today are wonderful! This is clear evidence of God's favour and remembrance in our service to Him.
Even today, let us look forward to God's greater glory. Let us have the brothers and sisters we serve say to God: God, may You remember me and show favour to me. Remember everything I have done for Your people. In this era of rampant epidemics, a stark contrast has emerged: on one hand, God wants to bless and raise up; on the other hand, we see disasters raging.
What exactly is going on? God wants to bless those who give and pay the price for Him. Why do we see disasters raging? Because God wants to bring災禍to those who are selfish. Everyone, think carefully and see what kind of era this is. There are piles of selfish theories.
I have encountered some Christian pastors who want to promote family first activities. If it is family first, then what about the sheep you serve? Where should the church be placed? Where should God's temple be placed? This is selfishness. We must say, why do we see disasters raging? We carefully ponder and see, whether it is Christians, a country, or an organization, what they are saying.
If they talk about something something first , these are all selfish logical systems. Do you think God in heaven will react how to these selfish people? I tell you, God will definitely bring災禍. Because God hates these selfish people. Our God is a God who gives. If we lack the image of giving and are filled with selfish logical systems, disregarding the interests of others to satisfy our own, we will invite災禍. Even if God lets you go, ghosts will not let you go.
If you are a selfish person, you need to read history, and even more so, you need to read the history in the Bible. The Bible is not only history but also wisdom. In this land of China, we can carefully read the 5000 years of Chinese history. History is a very valuable mirror. If you look closely, if a person or a country promotes a selfish logical system, the judgement they receive is so heavy.
In our Chinese history, we read The world has long suffered under Qin, meaning the world has suffered for a long time under the oppression of Qin Shi Huang. Chen Sheng and Wu Guang started a rebellion, and after a period of time, they overthrew the Qin dynasty, establishing the Han dynasty. We must read history. The Bible is the history of the Israelites, the history of the church. The wisdom revealed in the Bible should be carefully noted. Not only is the history revealed in the Bible like this, but Chinese history is also like this.
The great Chinese reformer and opening-up architect Deng Xiaoping humbly said that he did not read many books, but his favorite was to read Zizhi Tongjian. Zizhi Tongjian is a Chinese history book. If you are willing, you can also read Zizhi Tongjian. I think some history books are also worth learning from, such as The Qin Empire and Li Zicheng, which tell the stories of the rise and fall of dynasties throughout history.
Today I am sharing with you about the great figure Nehemiah in the Bible. Nehemiah is a giver, he does not expect to receive anything from people.
Scripture
Remember me, my God, concerning this, and do not wipe out my good deeds that I have done for the house of my God, and for its services.(Nehemiah 5:19)
In the past, whenever I was struggling, I often said this. I said: God, remember everything I have done for these people, and show favour to me. Although I am a little less than Nehemiah, this sentence is quite useful.
Prayer
God! Today, look at this generation. May you raise up a large group of Nehemiahs, big and small, to stand in this breach in this generation. Lord, may you restore your fallen tent and repair your walls, so that your people will no longer suffer great disasters and humiliations. Lord, raise us up today to become a large group of Nehemiahs, big and small. Let us also be like Nehemiah, becoming people who serve you at a cost, and let us also be like Nehemiah, placing our hope and expectation in you. You will surely remember the price we have paid for the people. God! You will surely show favour to us, in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen!
Background of Nehemiah
In fact, Nehemiah does not occupy a very prominent place in the Bible. Everyone is more familiar with Genesis, Matthew, and Revelation, which occupy a more important historical position in the Bible. You might think that Nehemiah is in the first half of the Old Testament, but Nehemiah and Malachi are in the last part of Old Testament history.
Let me sort out this history for you. The history of the Israelites begins with Abraham. Genesis mentions his son Isaac. Isaac had a son named Jacob, who was renamed Israel. Jacob had twelve sons, one of whom was Joseph. Joseph was sold into slavery in Egypt by his brothers, and he became the prime minister in Egypt. Finally, he brought his whole family to Egypt.
Hundreds of years later, the Israelites became slaves of the Egyptians. The Israelites suffered greatly, and they began to cry out to God. God raised up Moses to lead the Israelites out of Egypt. Moses led the Israelites out of Egypt and stayed in the wilderness for forty years.
That generation was afraid of war and unwilling to enter the promised land. As a result, God let that generation die in the wilderness, leaving only their next generation to enter Canaan. After entering Canaan, they established the nation of Israel. At that time, Israel had no king. Later, the history of Israel entered the Book of Judges.
The Book of Judges records the successive leaders raised up by God. After the Israelites entered Canaan, they lived a very difficult life. They cried out to God again, and God sent someone to save them. After a period of peace, the Israelites became corrupt again and suffered disasters. They cried out to God again, and God raised up another person. This back-and-forth went on for hundreds of years.
In the blink of an eye, it was Samuel's time. God raised up a king named Saul. Saul married his daughter to David. God chose David, and David became the king of Israel. David's son was Solomon. My heart yearns for the temple of my God , which I talked about in previous sermons, is about this David. Later, David and Solomon built the temple of God. At this time, the Israelites gradually began to deviate from God's way, but they were not so偏, they just wanted to live their lives.
As a result, the nation of Israel was divided into two kingdoms: the Kingdom of Judah and the Kingdom of Israel. Later, there were many generations of prophets. Isaiah and Jeremiah were prophets of that era. The prophets warned the Israelites that they were sinning and turning away from God, and that God would judge them.
Later, God raised up the Babylonian Empire. King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon destroyed the Kingdom of Judah and the Kingdom of Israel, destroyed the temple of Israel, and took the vessels in the temple and some prominent people captive to the Babylonian Kingdom. In fact, before the Kingdom of Israel was taken captive to the Babylonian Kingdom, God had given them a prophecy through the prophet Jeremiah. People even thought Jeremiah was a traitor of King Nebuchadnezzar.
In fact, it was not. It was God who was declaring judgement through Jeremiah. After King Nebuchadnezzar took these people captive to the Babylonian Kingdom, Jeremiah declared a prophecy that after seventy years, God would bring these Israelites back to the land of Israel and rebuild the temple of God.
Among those who were taken captive was a man named Daniel. Daniel became the prime minister of the Babylonian Kingdom. Later, the Babylonian Kingdom was also destroyed by the Persian Kingdom. Daniel became the prime minister of the Persian Kingdom. The Persian king sent someone back to Jerusalem to rebuild the temple of Jehovah God. Why? because the Persian king believed that he could gain the world because God gave it to him.
One very miraculous thing happened, is that when this Persian king was reading the Book of Isaiah, he found that it mentioned someone named Cyrus, which happened to be the name of this Persian king, God was going to raise up a king called King Cyrus. So King Cyrus of Persia sent these people captured from Jerusalem back to rebuild the temple.
Among the people sent back was a man named Zerubbabel, and a prophet named Haggai. Haggai discovered that after these Israelites went back, they were not busy restoring the temple, but only cared about their own houses, raising cattle, planting crops, and building property, but no one cared about God's temple.
Haggai wrote the Book of Haggai, declaring a curse on the Israelites. The Israelites woke up a little and began to restore the temple of God. In the blink of an eye, Zerubbabel's affairs also passed for a while, and the temple was still desolate.
The temple was desolate, and the priests offered bad things to God, offering lame and blind animals to God. God raised up Malachi, the book before Matthew is called the Book of Malachi. God raised up this Malachi to announce the sins committed by the Israelites. This announcement was also very sad! These people listened and said: When did we offend God, when did we withhold offerings, when did we let you down. These people did not even know, and then God said through Malachi: You withhold tithes.
The Israelites of that era were also quite confused. After they were taken captive to Babylon, King Cyrus sent them back, but they were still in a selfish state. In the blink of an eye, decades passed. The Israelites were confused, the priests were confused, the rich exploited the poor, everyone loved money, and the whole situation was quite miserable. The people of Israel suffered great disasters and humiliation. The Israelites were also very capable, surviving in the cracks, being smooth and able to build relationships, and as a result they did well, but overall it was a very sad state.
This matter reached Susa, the capital of the Persian king, and the Jews told Nehemiah. Nehemiah was a favorite in front of the emperor, serving as the king's cupbearer, and he was also very capable. Nehemiah heard that the Jews were suffering great disasters and humiliation, that the walls of Jerusalem were destroyed, and the gates were burned with fire. When Nehemiah heard this, he sat down and wept, mourned, and fasted and prayed.
When I heard these words, I sat down and wept and mourned for days, and I continued fasting and praying before the God of heaven, and said, “I beseech You, O Lord God of heaven, the great and awesome God, who keeps His covenant and extends lovingkindness to those who love Him and keep His commandments, let Your ear now be attentive and Your eyes open to hear the prayer of Your servant which I am praying before You now, day and night, on behalf of the sons of Israel Your servants, confessing the sins of the sons of Israel which we have committed against You;(Nehemiah 1:4-6)
Nehemiah prayed before God:
O Lord, I beseech You, may Your ear be attentive to the prayer of Your servant and the prayer of Your servants who delight to revere Your name, and may You make Your servant successful today and grant him compassion in the sight of this man.”(Nehemiah 1:11)
What grace? Hoping that one day the king would say: Go back to Jerusalem! As a result, King Artaxerxes liked Nehemiah very much, and he actually sent him back to Jerusalem, making him the governor of Jerusalem. The king sent troops and cavalry to escort Nehemiah back to Jerusalem in a grand manner. After arriving in Jerusalem, he began to rebuild the walls. Throughout the entire process of construction, the situation faced was quite miserable. This thousand-year history, let's talk about it first, this is the introduction to Nehemiah.
Our generation needs Christians like Nehemiah
Everyone, take a closer look at what it is? Today is an era of rampant disasters. The novel coronavirus has taken the lives of many people, and today there are still city lockdowns everywhere. I think this history will be clearly recorded in human history, much more serious than SARS in 2003.
Recently, there was an incident where riots broke out in the United States. I watched the video, and it was terrifying. The police kneeled on a black man's neck and the black man died. As a result, riots broke out in many cities. This generation is quite chaotic, this generation is really not peaceful!
A person wrote a book and predicted the collapse of the Soviet Union in the 1990s. He wrote it in the 1980s, and a year ago, he predicted the decline of the American empire in 2020. But looking at this rhythm, it seems quite like it. Today, we take a closer look, whether you like it or not, we must say that Europe is a more concentrated source of Christianity. Because Paul was originally a person from Jerusalem, a student under the great scholar Gamaliel, a very capable person. Because he persecuted Christians, he believed in Jesus in Damascus, and then brought the gospel to Europe. As a result, Europe has become the center of Christianity in the past years.
Later, the center of Christianity moved to the United States. For many years, the United States has promoted itself as a Christian country. But in recent years, it has become increasingly不行. The churches in America still look very prosperous on the surface. If you take a closer look at God's church, you will find that America is constantly becoming desolate, and we also find that some subtle changes are beginning to occur in this place.
If you are familiar with the Bible, you will find that the decline of a country is closely related to the decline of its entire belief system, especially in the Christian background, so the church of God is desolate.
God's people suffer disasters and humiliation. In the spiritual realm, it is a very common phenomenon for God's people to be bullied by demons.
We must say that there is not much healing and deliverance anointing in this church. And few people believe it. I think that in this desolate era of the church, looking from the spiritual world, the church of God is desolate, the walls of God are destroyed, and individuals only care about themselves. This situation is very similar to the era in which Nehemiah lived.
Today, we look around at the situation of the churches around the world, and they are all quite desolate! Today, we must say that we are very fortunate that God has raised us up among us to do the work that Nehemiah did in that generation. Today, the church is full of selfish information. In the Christians I have come into contact with in various different places, I have found that they rarely talk about , and many things they talk about are selfish. Although they do not explicitly say the word selfish , selfish has become the axis of faith in this generation.
The Book of Nehemiah tells how Nehemiah returned to Jerusalem to build the temple of God. In fact, Nehemiah had a good job in the court at that time, with good income and life. The problem was that when he heard that the temple of God in Jerusalem was desolate, the walls were destroyed, and the gates were burned with fire, he began to have this burden. He sat down and prayed to God: God! Can you send me over, and now let your servant prosper and find favour in the sight of the king, and then let the king send me to Jerusalem.
Everyone should know that it is good to be an official in the court! It is not very good to be an official in the provinces, because the affairs in the provinces are complicated and difficult to manage. As a result, because Nehemiah had a burden for the temple of God, he was actually sent by the king to restore the temple of God. Because the king saw that his complexion was not good, with a sorrowful face, Nehemiah became very afraid, because it was not allowed to show a sorrowful face in front of the king.
As a result, when the king asked him why, he prayed silently to the God of heaven, and then said: If the king pleases, send me to Judah, to the place where the tombs of my fathers are, so that I can rebuild it. As a result, the situation was quite good, the king gave him edicts, decrees, documents, and sent soldiers, cavalry, etc. to protect him to the land of Judah to be the governor.
If today we have a good job, a good income, and a good life, would you disrupt this peace? Or would you just keep going, thinking you are doing well? Do you see the desolation of God's temple in this generation? The desolation of God's church? The suffering and humiliation of God's people? Do you have such a burden, do you feel distressed? Do you feel that this has something to do with you?
If you feel it has something to do with you, you should be a little Jeremiah. Why not a big Jeremiah? Because the big Jeremiah was an official in the imperial court, and at best, we are officials in the company. This is the need of this generation. Whether you like it or not, if God has chosen you, you will feel it in your heart.
Selfishness, Caring Only About Oneself is the Most Foolish Choice
Why talk about this? Because Nehemiah made a very smart choice, he knew God's will. In fact, God has been looking for people like Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, David, Samuel, Moses, and Nehemiah throughout the ages. When Nehemiah heard of the desolation of God's temple, he was filled with sadness.
Today we must all know, didn't Zerubbabel and others exist in Judah in Jerusalem? Wasn't Zerubbabel also serving as a governor there? I guess they might have changed their positions in that generation. But there were also Malachi, Ezra, and many prophets and scribes there. Why did it have to be Nehemiah who went? Because that place lacked a leader.
Everyone is starting to think, if people are selfish and only care about themselves, they will surely incur God's wrath. The Book of Malachi and the Book of Haggai are separated by almost decades. The Book of Haggai is decades before the Book of Nehemiah, and later the Book of Malachi is about the same time as the Book of Nehemiah. At that time, many Jews in Jerusalem were marrying foreigners, just like traitors. Marrying their daughters or marrying their daughters to these foreigners. The whole thing was about taking care of oneself.
Today I can tell you: if you marry a wife or you want to marry, the most deadly thing is to find someone who is selfish and only cares about himself. A person who only cares about himself constantly demands this and that from you, then think about it, if he still feels dissatisfied when you give it to him, what will he do to you when you cannot give it to him? He will kick you away. This kind of relationship is deadly! Whether it is marrying or marrying a wife, the most deadly thing is selfishness. You must never marry a selfish person!
Some time ago, I met a sister who told me a story about her mother. Her mother married her father, and then she gave birth to her. As a result, her mother's life was very miserable! Why? Because when her mother married her father, her mother thought that her father would be able to improve in the future. Later, her father selfishly did nothing and relied on her mother to support him.
Today, in response to this story, I remind everyone that selfishness, especially the thing in the bones, is difficult to change! To change the things in the bones requires being broken. Selfishness is the most deadly thing that brings curses. Whether it is a country, an individual, a church, or an institution, selfishness is very deadly!
Think about it, the biggest pastor of the church is selfish, he only cares about himself. Don't the people under him follow suit? The people below are even more like this. If the boss of a company is very selfish, then aren't the various departments also selfish? The company will definitely not be good. So the culture of a company is very deadly.
Chinese Mingding Destiny made a very smart choice, which is to choose giving. Don't think that coming to Chinese Mingding Destiny is about getting something, I tell you that coming here is about learning to give. You say giving is a loss? You are wrong, giving is a worthwhile thing, what you get is not a blessing, what you give is a blessing. Why is this so? Because we expect to get benefits from God. Selfish people will not say: God! Please remember me. It's better not to remember, when God remembers, He remembers his sins, because he is selfish!
Chinese Mingding Destiny is a very smart choice, because it is a choice made according to God's will, so blessings will come to us, so when you come among us, you will experience blessings, experience healing, experience grace. Today, these testimonies of casting out demons, although they last for three or five minutes or ten minutes, everyone pays a heavy price.
This is why we say, God! Please remember what I have done for these people. We are not asking God to remember us without making any contribution, what are we asking to remember? We are really paying the price before God, God, please remember what I have done for these people. Our church's ministry does many, many things besides casting out demons, but we do not seek benefits from people, but expect benefits from God. We will not say let people give us something, we will say: God, please remember me! Our hope is in God.
The people of Israel here from the time of Haggai and Zerubbabel, and then to Malachi, spanning about forty or fifty years, or from the first batch of Jews who returned to Jerusalem until Nehemiah returned to Jerusalem. These Israelites, the people were selfish, the people were cursed and lived poor lives, and had to borrow money; the rich officials, nobles, and priests were also cursed, although they were rich, they lived very uncomfortably.
It was very hard for Nehemiah to go back to face these Israelites. How many bricks could Nehemiah move alone? It was impossible to move so many bricks, so he had to mobilize these officials, nobles, people, and priests to build the wall and restore a God-centered life. This is Nehemiah!
When we were promoting this matter, why did I often say in the past few years, God, please remember me? Because in the church, serving one person, is a selfish fellow; serving another person, is also a selfish fellow... There are too many selfish fellows! Now when I see selfish people, I think of the harm I have suffered in the past. Thank God, if God had not remembered me, my heart would have been pierced like a honeycomb!
There are many ungrateful people. When they need me, I serve them, and I don't expect to get anything from them. When these people need my service, they say very nice things, but after I serve them, they throw me away like a broken shoe, and say goodbye. They have experienced great grace from me.
The people Nehemiah faced were no better, which is why Nehemiah bore such a destiny in pain, faced such Israelites, and began to make a choice in his heart: I will give! Then he would say to God, God, please remember me!
I will tell you about Nehemiah Chapter 5 section by section. Nehemiah went to Jerusalem to be the governor, and he and his brothers did not take salaries, did not increase the burden on the people, and did not impose harsh taxes on the people. They focused on building the wall and did not buy land. When people go to a place, they should buy their own house, right? Nehemiah did not at all. 150 Jewish paupers and officials ate at his house, about once every 10 days, and each time he prepared 1 bull, 6 fat sheep, and fowl. Do you know how much 1 bull and 6 fat sheep cost? A lot of money, all paid by Nehemiah himself.
By bringing them together to eat every 10 days and arranging some work, this became a way for him to hold meetings. As a result, he did these things and said: My God! Remember all that I have done for these people, and be gracious to me. Think about it, what Nehemiah did was to hope that the Israelites would no longer suffer great disasters and be humiliated, and he had to give them food and drink, and coax them before they could do something beneficial to them. Isn't this very strange?
Even to this day, I am used to it, that is, I have to persuade you to do many things that are beneficial to everyone. I find it very strange, why do I have to persuade you to be a blessed person? This is very strange, but if you want to be Nehemiah, you have to do this kind of work. Everyone must know that Nehemiah's choice is very different from the choices of these Israelites mentioned in Haggai and Malachi.
You have sown much, and harvest little. You eat, but you never have enough; you drink, but you never have your fill. You clothe yourselves, but no one can keep warm. The wage earner puts his wages into a bag with holes in it.” (Haggai 1:6)
In those days when one came to a heap of twenty measures, there were but ten. When one came to the wine vat to draw fifty measures, there were but twenty. (Haggai 2:16)
The Israelites could obviously harvest 50 barrels in the field, but only got 20 barrels. God was clearly cursing them. Obviously it looks like a lot, but what you get is very little. Many people handle a lot of money, but live very poorly. It is useless to have a lot of money, because what is in their minds is selfishness. So I will take you to check Malachi and Haggai slowly when I have the opportunity, but today we don’t have time to read them.
Nehemiah's Choice is to Give and Pay the Price
Facing a group of selfish people, the best way to change them is to give. If you want to be a leader, lead these Israelites to build the wall, and lead these Israelites to start restoring a God-centered life, the best way is to set an example yourself.
When Nehemiah was mobilizing the Israelites there, he paid a heavy price. He was the governor, and he was very powerful, and he mobilized all the Israelites. But the enemies and threats he faced are described very interestingly here. Sanballat, Tobiah, and Geshem were all influential people around them, and many Jews interacted with them. They conspired to ruin Nehemiah's work. They threatened Nehemiah and accused him of treason, but Nehemiah didn't care at all.
The priests, prophets, and surrounding governors and officials all wanted to threaten Nehemiah, hinder him from building the wall, and hinder him from restoring a God-centered life. In today's words, it is building a glorious church. Everyone must know that this road is not easy to walk.
But Nehemiah completed the construction of the wall in 52 days. Do you know how many difficulties he encountered? Those poor people said: We cannot build the wall. We have many children. We have to get food to make a living. We have no money. We have borrowed a lot of money. The poor are like this. They still have to live like this in the curse. They live like this. Do you still have to live like this? This kind of logic is very sad.
If there are any of us who are so miserable, we must start to repent. Nehemiah wanted to solve their problems. Nehemiah had to go to these rich people and tell them not to charge interest anymore and lend grain to the poor so that these poor people could build the wall. This is the situation Nehemiah faced. Nehemiah chose to pay the price himself.
After reading Nehemiah, I wrote a book called Fighting While Building. Facing countless problems and difficulties, we spare no effort in transforming people. There are not many pastors in the ministry who are more diligent than me. Some pastors asked me: Why does your prayer work, but mine doesn't? I said: Can that be the same? Do you pay the same price as me?
Today, many pastors learn from American pastors and have many hobbies. They keep the Sabbath. They cannot call the pastor on the Sabbath. That is sinning. They have not learned anything else, but they have learned the Sabbath. It is easy to be a lazy pastor, only working 2 hours a week, just preaching. They have not learned to pay the price, but they have learned the Sabbath well. Can prayer work like this? Can God hear prayer?
Brothers and sisters, God is looking for Nehemiahs who are willing to pay the price. Nehemiah was able to repair the wall in 52 days, which is very fast. In the past 52 days, my colleagues and I have written a lot of programs and solved a lot of technical problems. Nehemiah not only knew how to lead, but most importantly, he was willing to give. He not only had the technology and skills to know how to repair and build the wall, solve many problems, but he also knew how to coordinate interpersonal relationships, such as the relationship between the rich and the poor, and he had the courage to face the threats of the enemy. The most important thing was that his hope was in God.
Giving is giving, not buying land or property, not taking salaries, not collecting more taxes from the local people. He said to God: God, may you remember me, remember all that I have done for these people, and be gracious to me.
I want to ask everyone, did Nehemiah live a poor life? No, God wants to make him prosperous, how could he be poor? Although he does not take a salary, God will definitely supply him. How will God supply him? You have to ask God, can't God solve this problem? Don't think that God's arm will be shortened, you must know that it is more blessed to give than to receive. Why do we give, and why don't we want to get? Because we are pursuing God's blessing. Nehemiah said in his heart: God, may you remember me and be gracious to me.
May God Be Gracious to Me and Remember Me
Today, brothers and sisters are starting to say: God, may you remember me and be gracious to me. When we come before God, what we hold in our hands is the price we have paid for God, how could God not know? I am a super diligent person among many pastors. I do a lot of things and solve a lot of problems. I have a full schedule. In the past month, I often stayed up all night developing programs to make our management very good. These require computer programs to manage, and to make the computer programs good, we have to overcome many technical problems.
You can see my work plan, one item after another. In the future, I will teach you how to make work plans. I can also take time to help our entrepreneurial brothers and sisters and do some consulting work. I am very grateful to God for the talents He has given me. Every sermon of mine is a new paper. Some people say that they are all old tunes, but in fact, it is very good if 5% to 10% of a paper is new. I absolutely dare not be careless in building God's temple.
Today, a large number of Christians who pay the price have risen up among us, starting from me. This is also my expectation. May God remember me and be gracious to me, and raise up a large number of brothers and sisters who pay the price. This is a blessed path. Even during the epidemic, we still serve. The church is not only not affected, but it is also developing by leaps and bounds, so we bless many people.
A pastor's church was about to collapse. He thought that our church was also like that and wanted to get the same news from me, so he asked me: How is your church doing? I said our church is very good, doubling. As a result, he ignored me, because he didn't want to see our church so good.
Next, brothers and sisters will see that I will build a training website, where you will have all the courses you need to take. Throughout the whole process, we manage it very delicately. Nehemiah was a very capable manager. We mainly compete on efficiency and equip ourselves with the most advanced tools. Some of the tools are developed by ourselves. We have been accumulating them for the past three years before we have such output today. Next, we will make breakthroughs step by step.
I work very fast. Although we invest a lot of time, we are not competing on how much time we invest, we are competing on efficiency. Fast is good, quality is quality, where there is no quantity, there is no quality.
How wholeheartedly, wholeheartedly, and wholeheartedly we love the Lord our God, and even more so in serving our brothers and sisters, we are constantly expanding horizontally and vertically, constantly digging deep, and constantly growing upward. It is difficult not to be blessed among us. The most difficult thing is to get rid of that selfish thing.
Brothers and sisters must know, are the words you speak asking God to remember your transgressions or to remember your contributions, to remember your selfishness and curse you, or to remember your giving and bestow grace on you and bless you? This is a choice. Start to ponder, what do we live for?
Some people think it is fun to play. Is it really fun? Then play, play until you are in the curse, and then you will know what playing is. We must make good use of our time and be wise people, cherishing our time. Isn't our life accumulated in periods of time? Isn't it extremely rewarding to use our time on God?
Follow Nehemiah and Become a Blessing to This Generation
First, train yourself in a down-to-earth manner, don't be too ambitious, and have very practical abilities like Nehemiah. Second, be willing to give, not for yourself, but for God, and do not expect to get anything from others, but expect to get from God. This is Nehemiah. Are you willing to be a person like Nehemiah?
If you are willing to be a person like Nehemiah, God will surely lift you up and make you surpass all the people in the world. God will send the blessings He has destined upon you and make you a blessing to this generation. Because God is looking for such people in heaven and on earth to bless them. Nehemiah did face many challenges, but it was much more meaningful than serving the emperor in the palace.
Nehemiah can be recorded in the Bible and become an example for us to follow because he made a very wise choice in that generation. If you are willing, pray with me: God, may you remember everything I have done for these people and be gracious to me. I pray in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen. May everyone be able to become great and small Nehemiahs, Amen.
May God bless everyone!
