Introduction
Good day to all! Today, I continue with the How to series. In this session, I will share how to enjoy freedom in Jesus Christ. The How to series is actually quite difficult to present, so I find myself deeply engrossed in a taxing endeavor. Some might say, Aren't you supposed to be enjoying it? In truth, even hardship can be a form of enjoyment. The word How is indeed challenging to elucidate, but regardless, I must clarify it.
How can one be a pastor, a Christian, or a person who enjoys life immensely? I believe that no matter how arduous or challenging it may be, I must strive to make it clear. Once you've understood it, it becomes a form of enjoyment. I've held onto this hope for a week, so today, I'll share it with you.
In my childhood, I read a set of books titled A Hundred Thousand Whys. I believe there should be a series called A Hundred Thousand Hows or A Hundred Thousand Ways to Do It. The Whys series explains why the stars in the sky are blue or red, which doesn't seem particularly relevant to us. After understanding it, you still have to figure out how to live your life.
How to enjoy freedom in Jesus Christ – this is addressed to Christians who lead strenuous lives. I am, in fact, someone who is very capable of enjoying life, even in the midst of hardship. However, this often perplexes others. When I'm going through a difficult time, a sister once asked me, How do you manage to enjoy it? This question evoked many memories. Often, the terms I use are misunderstood.
I often talk about being refreshed, which implies that one can only be happy after suffering. This word can be misleading. This sister said to me, Do you know that you've become a legend among us? We feel we can't be like you. I represent those who, like me, are confused and don't enjoy what they do. How can we achieve that enjoyment? I replied, You've asked the right question, because this week, I'll be addressing that very issue.
In fact, if one doesn't enjoy doing things, one doesn't enjoy being a person. This is a serious problem. As for how to achieve enjoyment, that is indeed a challenging question! Next, I'll share the result of my hard work this week with you. I hope you won't find it laborious, but rather, enjoyable. I even dedicated a chapter to explaining this issue to the sister who raised the question, and in the process, I suddenly felt like I had found the answer. How to enjoy freedom in Jesus Christ, how to enjoy being a Christian, a pastor, an individual? This is a very valuable topic.
In reality, this sister has walked through difficult times with me. She has personally witnessed my tears, struggles, and frantic work. She believes that what she saw was me being in a state of enjoyment, which is actually those who sow in tears will reap with songs of joy. Over such a long period, what has sustained me in enjoying everything? It is God's promise that I will see His promises fulfilled in my life.
To this day, I see many brothers and sisters who have been healed and delivered through my ministry. The feeling of enjoyment within me cannot be replaced by a lavish feast. A feast is merely a gratification of the palate, but leading brothers and sisters to healing and deliverance, bringing everyone into enjoyment, is the most enjoyable and desirable thing in a person's life. The word enjoyment seems to be full of different interpretations, thus bringing about much confusion.
Recently, I have been teaching everyone about how to enjoy life. A few days ago, the mother of a child applied the concept of enjoyment to her child. As a result, when the child was doing homework, she said, Mommy, I don't want to do homework. I don't enjoy doing homework at all. Her mother asked, Then what do you enjoy doing? She said, I enjoy eating delicious food. Eating delicious food is more enjoyable. Her mother was completely at a loss.
It's quite common for children to ask their mothers for treats. My uncle was a very gluttonous person. When he was young, his family was very poor, and my grandmother would take my mother and uncle to beg for food. One day, my uncle said to my grandmother, Mom, I want to eat fried dough twists! In that era, where could my grandmother find fried dough twists for him? She pinched his cheek on one side forcefully, saying, This is a fried dough twist. Then she pinched his cheek on the other side forcefully, saying, This is a fried dough stick. My grandmother asked, Did you taste it? My uncle replied, Yes. My grandmother said, This is a fried dough twist and a fried dough stick. Do you want more? My uncle replied, No more!
Therefore, the interpretation of enjoyment is very confusing. For example, according to drug addicts, they feel very enjoyable when they are using, but then they fall into pain. Then they fall into a vicious cycle of enjoyment and pain. Of course, this example of drug addiction is a relatively extreme one.
What will be the result of our eating, drinking, and merrymaking? Actually, the effect is not much different from that of drug addiction, and in the end, it brings quite deep pain. A child who liked to eat and drink from a young age grew up to be a three-hundred-pound fat person. It was only after I and my co-workers ministered to him that we realized how uncomfortable he was inside. Is that enjoyment or discomfort? It's truly confusing! If we follow our own preferences, we can predict that he will only enjoy it when he is eating, but after eating, he will be uncomfortable. This vicious cycle will continue until death. This life has no future, no hope, and no enjoyment.
Therefore, the topic I am sharing with you is called How to Enjoy Freedom in Jesus Christ, not the freedom of enjoying McDonald's or KFC, but enjoying freedom in Jesus Christ. Carefully consider my sharing today. I hope to truly resolve the confusion within you and then allow you to start being a person who enjoys life.
Some people feel that I don't live enjoyably, but if you ask me whether I enjoy it inside, I tell you that I really do enjoy it. This matter is a case of the benevolent see benevolence, and the wise see wisdom. This feeling is something that only the person involved can feel. How to create the feeling of enjoyment within us is very important! I will share a passage of Scripture with you. If you open the website, you will find that I have already used this passage three times.
Scripture
It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery. (Galatians 5:1)
Prayer
Lord Jesus, open our minds today, and let our brothers and sisters enter into enjoyment. You have accomplished this salvation for us and have become all our help, predestining the path of victory for us! Lord, re-energize our brothers and sisters in their hearts today! Stir up the hope within them. Lord, let them once again muster the courage and lift up their faith to run this heavenly race.
As we run this road, fill us with hope, let this hope transform into the driving force within us, and allow us to enjoy every day in this world. Lord! Change our minds and thoughts today, change our lifestyles, Lord, let us become a people with Mingding Destiny, let us become a people who can constantly draw on your promises before you. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen!
Scripture Background
Many may be newcomers to our midst or listening online, so I will reiterate a few things about the background of this scripture. Galatians is a very important epistle. If a person understands Galatians thoroughly, they should be able to put to death the misdeeds of the body by the Holy Spirit, become a person who pleases God and enjoys life, and certainly become an excellent Christian.
Galatians speaks of the Christians in Galatia who, after following Paul to believe in the Lord for some time, were tempted and inexplicably changed their course. They felt that they had to observe circumcision and the law. In fact, it was difficult for them to return to the law of Moses, because the temple was not in Galatia but in Jerusalem. As a result, the Galatians began to study the festivals, days, and observance of circumcision, doing a ton of these things, and the most critical thing happened after they were done. Would those who did these things feel good inside? In reality, they would not.
From the 1st chapter to the 2nd chapter of Galatians, the situation that occurred at that time and how the Apostle Paul fought for the purity of the Gospel are described. Paul was an uncompromising person. He knew that the image of God could not be lived out by relying on the Old Testament. It was only by relying on Jesus Christ that the image of God could be lived out. The Old Testament points to Jesus Christ, allowing people to follow Jesus Christ and obtain the power of the Holy Spirit, so that they can put to death the deeds of the flesh.
Why do I say this? The reasoning is also very simple. For example, if a person is sick and comes to pray, if we feel that he has not done well enough and cannot be healed, then it is difficult for him to be healed. It is not that this person is healed after he has done well, but rather that this person has received the Gospel, and he begins to believe in God and God begins to heal him.
There is an extreme conflict between faith-based and behavior-based approaches. If a person with cancer is behavior-based, he must perform all the laws and regulations to be healed, which is troublesome. Not to mention a cancer patient, but any other illness, if he has to wait until he performs to be healed, it almost becomes absurd, so it must be based on faith.
Paul wrote in very harsh terms: You foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you? Before your very eyes Jesus Christ was clearly portrayed as crucified. I would like to learn just one thing from you: Did you receive the Spirit by observing the law, or by believing what you heard? Are you so foolish? After beginning with the Spirit, are you now trying to attain your goal by human effort? Have you suffered so much for nothing—if it really was for nothing? Does God give you his Spirit and work miracles among you because you observe the law, or because you believe what you heard? (Galatians 3:1-5)
The question raised by Paul is very sharp. In fact, once the Galatians deviated from being faith-based, they thought in their hearts: God has not healed me because I have not done well enough, I must do better! If you want to do better but can't, it will be more difficult, so they suffer so much in vain. Paul wrote, You foolish Galatians, which is very harsh.
It's not like they haven't experienced God, but why do they still slide into being behavior-based after experiencing God? You must be very careful about this kind of thinking. We often feel that we have done well enough, so we have obtained the promise. In fact, it is our faith that draws on God's promise! If we do things according to behavior, no one can come before God, because according to behavior, we have not done well enough, and we are not worthy to draw on God's promise.
Paul listed a series of figures, mainly Abraham, and finally came to the conclusion that Christ has set us free, calling us to be free, so we must stand firm and not let ourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery. In Galatians, the examples of Hagar and Sarah are given, as well as some figures, such as Peter and James (the James who wrote the Book of James). Of course, James should be quite upset after reading his Galatians.
If I were James, I would be quite upset after reading Galatians, because James wrote a lot about keeping and following the Mosaic Law. When we carefully consider it, we will find that the Book of James speaks of not only faith but also works, but Galatians speaks of faith alone. This is the background of this scripture. Perhaps everyone may have different views on the matter of James, it doesn't matter, just listen to me for the time being, and then you also carefully examine why this scripture is used to speak of enjoying freedom in Jesus Christ.
This matter arose because some false brothers had infiltrated our ranks to spy on the freedom we have in Christ Jesus and to make us slaves. (Galatians 2:4)
In fact, the Apostle Paul was a very free person. He was also a person who enjoyed freedom in Jesus Christ very much. Today, I will share through this scripture. Perhaps what I say is not entirely correct, but everyone must carefully examine the Bible to see if what I say is true or not!
The Root Cause of Not Enjoying Is Carrying A Yoke of Slavery
What is the root cause of not enjoying? It is the yoke of slavery. If we carefully observe, why don't people enjoy doing things? Because doing things seems to be forced. For example, when coming to church gatherings, every Sunday I would discuss with some people, and one person would come with a dark face and be very unhappy. He felt that he was forced to come, as to whether he was giving me face or showing me his bad attitude, I don't know.
He was forced to come, so his words were filled with complaints. I said unceremoniously: If you don't want to come, what are you doing here? I don't need you to come, I don't need people to fill my position here. If you don't enjoy it, don't come! Later, he really didn't come, in fact, it has nothing to do with me. Can he enjoy what he has to do? It seems like he is doing it for others. This matter reminds me of some people. If he does everything with the mentality of a slave, he will be very passive, and it is impossible for him to enjoy it!
No matter what you do, you have to find the root cause of doing it. If a person does things just for a little salary, how can he enjoy it? So everyone begins to consider why the Galatians found it difficult to be Christians when they were doing it? It is because they are being controlled by the yoke of slavery, and the yoke of slavery is unwillingness! Let me give you an example. A Christian kept sinning, and then condemned himself. A few days ago, he left a message on the website saying: I really want to obtain Mingding Destiny, and I also want to be a Christian like you, but I often sin. After sinning, I condemn myself, and after condemning myself, I continue to sin, and this goes on and on in a vicious cycle.
What is the reason for this? Because he uses his own flesh, or his own behavior, to control himself, but he cannot control himself, so he goes to sin. After sinning, he condemns himself, and after condemning himself, he uses his behavior to control himself. What he means is that because I don't do well enough, God will not help me, because I sin, God must not like me, this is the mentality of a slave. Christians must know that God is our helper, and His promises will never be broken!
Some time ago, I was tutoring a child in learning code. She said: If I do well, you will like me, if I don't do well, you will not like me! What kind of mentality is this? This is a slave mentality, because she feels that she is here to learn to write code, as if I need her to learn. In fact, do I need her to learn? It was her own choice to come and learn. She comes to learn, I point out her problems, and she feels that it is because she is not good that I am saying her. In fact, this is the same as many Christians who do not enjoy doing it at all.
Why do children find it difficult to learn? Because there is an old matriarch in the family, and she is also a tyrant, and once the child does not do well, the old matriarch will nag to study hard! As a result, the child has a slave mentality, and as soon as the mother is not watching, he will play on his phone, do you think this can be learned well? It is impossible to learn it well! Because she thinks learning is for her mother.
This happens in many Christians' relationship with God. He seems to be a tyrant in front of God, and our God seems to be an old matriarch, nagging all day long, this is the mentality of a slave. Everything he does is not what he wants to do, if it is not what he wants to do, you can't do it well or enjoy it.
The root cause of people not enjoying is carrying a yoke of slavery! If you are once again controlled by the yoke of slavery, it seems that Christ has not yet set us free. Our relationship with Christ is not because of faith. We just verbally say that we are children of God, but we don't feel like we are children of God in our hearts. What will fill our hearts will be fear and condemnation. Like the child who is learning to write code, he doesn't think I am helping her, which is troublesome! In fact, the reason why people don't enjoy doing things is because they are being controlled by the yoke of slavery.
So I share with you that the most important thing is not to wear this yoke of slavery, and not to be controlled by the yoke of slavery again. For example, some people feel very uncomfortable when they see some things, how can he treat me like this! After a while, they feel that they cannot distinguish between good and evil, but they have already distinguished between good and evil, because they don't think this is a good thing. For example, when we are ministering to people with Alzheimer's, when they are controlled by demons, they often do some very strange things, which are very annoying. The people we minister to say: Oh! Why does he do this again, it's so annoying! After a while, they feel that they can't distinguish between good and evil! This becomes a very difficult thing, and they don't enjoy it at all.
Do you know what I would do? I would say that this is a good thing. Why did I talk about spiritual vision earlier? If you look at anything with a spiritual vision, you will feel it is a good thing! If there were no conditions for Alzheimer's, where would we go to fight Alzheimer's demons? Where would we go to find these Alzheimer's demons? It is because of this Alzheimer's that we have come to know the spiritual world, the spirit of old Ma, Huangpizi, the spirit of small crabs, the spirit of the five poisons, the worms of hell, and a whole bunch of these things, all of which are related to Alzheimer's. In fact, we have benefited a lot from this.
Recently, I started to take over the ministry again, and as a result, the situation has improved dramatically. What is the reason? Because I think this is a good thing. We will feel that it is a good thing to be disciplined by God; but if you are disciplined by God and say, What kind of God is this? This is the mentality of a slave, and you regard God as a cruel taskmaster. If we discipline a child, if he has the mentality of a slave, he will be confused. You think the discipline is good for him, but he will think you are trying to harm him. So the key is to come out of the slave mentality!
As Christians and children of God, how can we truly embrace our identity if we believe God intends to harm us? You might find it burdensome – attending church on Sundays, participating in foundational building ministries, diligently copying notes, and completing various tasks. Recently, we organized a healing and deliverance session for individuals burdened by deeply ingrained bad habits. To cultivate their focus, we assigned them the task of copying relevant materials, which actually proves beneficial for their healing and deliverance.
Instead, they argued with the pastors, as if we intended to harm them. In reality, we aimed to set them free, and the act of copying held therapeutic value, unbeknownst to them. How can one break free from a slave mentality under such circumstances? If you approach everything with the mindset that your pastor cares for you, that their instructions, such as writing, are for your healing and deliverance, then you are adopting the heart of a child!
Enjoyment Rooted in Being God's Children Through Promise
What is the foundation upon which we enjoy Jesus Christ? It is being children of God through promise. Some ask me, How can I enjoy my work? How can I enjoy being a Christian? The key lies in escaping the mentality of a slave. Those who are confused, acting like children or slaves, require discipline. Ungoverned children need the rod of discipline; without it, they stray from righteousness and become dominated by evil spirits.
Our foundation for enjoyment lies in being children of God through promise. Those who grow and mature are called children, while the young are called infants. Although children of God are heirs to the inheritance, they are no different from slaves during their infancy. Chinese Mingding Destiny constantly encourages everyone to strive for growth, not like ignorant children, but with knowledge of God's will and bearing His image. Training our perspective to align with God's, we see good in all things through a spiritual lens. We seize the authority granted by God and declare, and things come to pass.
We become children of God through promise, and His promises are readily available for us to draw upon. Faith is what allows us to claim these promises, and our faith can create the future. How can one not enjoy doing things in this way? The current state of the church is the result of my years of faithful practice. A prophet once laid hands on me, saying, You will pass through a very dark tunnel, but at the end of the tunnel, you will see a ray of light – the glory of God. After passing through a long, dark valley, you will witness His glory.
Why is it possible to enjoy even in the darkness? Because being in the darkness is not my choice. Either you cling to God's promise, believing you can create a future, or you lose faith and hope, and live in profound suffering. Even when we hold fast to God's promise and fix our gaze on His eternal hope for us, we can still be easily overwhelmed by pain. If one loses faith and hope every day, wouldn't one live in suffering daily?
Brothers and sisters, the foundation of enjoyment is being children of God through promise. As children of God, no circumstances can rob us of our faith. It's not that God fulfills His promises only if we are good enough; it is that I believe in a good God, who will surely save me, and will ultimately allow me to witness His glory. I know His will for me, and in that state, I thank God.
Enjoyment is not a feeling; it is a choice cultivated with faith and hope. Even in difficult situations, when we begin to draw upon God's promises, many receive deliverance and healing through prayer. I know that God's promises never fail, and thus I have become an enjoyable pastor, an enjoyable Christian. This is the foundation of enjoyment.
Brothers and sisters, reflect carefully. Some often tell me, I am just not someone who enjoys things. I reply, I saw you doing something the other day, and you seemed to be enjoying it. Yes! I was enjoying doing those things that day. Then why did you forget? Oh! Anyone can do those things. But the fact that anyone can do it has nothing to do with whether you enjoy doing it. What does others being able to do it have to do with your enjoyment? In reality, it has nothing to do with it. We enjoy doing one thing, enjoy doing two things, and enjoy doing three things; that's how we grow daily.
Why does he enjoy painting? Because he is painting his own room. He hopes to sleep and work in that room, and to decorate it beautifully, so he is willing to pay the price. One's expectations are always tied to enjoyment. Perhaps his hope is that once the paint dries tomorrow, he will have a better environment. Maybe it's a day, a month, a year, ten years, twenty years... Like Jacob, he persevered for twenty years, bringing his wife and children back to Canaan.
When we trust in God, we will surely have abundant testimonies, which is why we have so many testimonies every Sunday. No matter who you are, whether you are doing well or not, it doesn't matter. From today on, learn to believe and enjoy. Someone left a message on the website: I have not yet been healed, and I deeply desire to be like Jesus. After reading these two sentences, I knew why he had not been healed. He thought he had to be like Jesus before he could be healed, but that is not the Gospel I preach.
When he chooses to believe in God, healing is very simple. People in the Bible were healed because their faith saved them, not because of what they did. In reality, we have all received grace without doing too much for God. Our God, because of our belief, releases His promises and grace. If we are willing to be his children through promise, what promises should we claim? Therefore, brothers and sisters, we must continue to grow, break free from the yoke of slavery, and begin to know God in the process of claiming His promises.
The reason for not enjoying is the yoke of slavery, and the reason for enjoying is being children through promise. When our mentality continues to change, we transform from not enjoying to enjoying. In life, people either live in misery or in enjoyment. Choose for yourselves.
Transformation from Slave to Child
Some people preach the Gospel without really understanding its meaning. They think the Gospel they preach is a Gospel that comes without a price. For example: Believe in Jesus with me, and you can go to heaven after you die! They preach the Gospel incorrectly, and they themselves are cursed. Is that preaching the Gospel? In the Bible, Jesus taught us that preaching the Gospel is very simple: it is preaching the Gospel, healing the sick, and casting out demons. Today, as we preach the Gospel and cast out demons, people's faith becomes very simple.
In the testimony we heard last week, he tossed and turned in the hospital for months. I prayed with him, and he was healed. An hour later, he was jumping and leaping, and went home. There was also someone whose arm muscles had atrophied, and after prayer, he was also healed. Some people, after being healed through prayer, follow me and believe in the Lord well, and then claim more promises and grace. Some people are healed through prayer, but still do not want to believe in the Lord. That's also okay. It's fine as long as they believed and received healing at the time. Our God is very generous. A person must experience the process from slave to child, but there are also some people who become children of God and then return to being slaves. That's troublesome.
The process from misery to enjoyment is the process from slave to child. For example, if God says to do something, a person with the mentality of a slave does it unwillingly. In Matthew, it says that God asked people to go to the vineyard. They agreed to go but didn't go later. That's the mentality of a slave. We must be wise and not be like the foolish Galatians. The foolish Galatians went from being children back to being slaves.
It's truly hard to believe that we have experienced so much of God's grace, and how can we go back to being slaves? Thinking that we must do something, observe this festival, observe that festival, perform circumcision, etc. In reality, these are not it. It is by our faith. When we begin to experience God, we feel that this is good, so we continue to pursue it. As we continue to pursue it, we experience more of God's grace. Is continuing to pursue it an act of behavior? No! It is our inner faith that drives us. It is that we are willing to do it. A slave is forced to do it; a child is willing to do it.
In this life, there is one thing that is very difficult, and that is to put to death the evil habits of our flesh, because the evil habits of the flesh determine the degree of our suffering. Why don't people enjoy? It is also because we have something of the flesh inside us.
For example, if a person is a carnal person, their perspective is also a carnal perspective. There is no faith of a child of God inside them. In reality, many Christians, after accepting Jesus Christ, are still carnal Christians. When seeing problems and doing things, they have intense competition, envy, jealousy, and hatred. How can that be comfortable? How can they be doing better than me? Why are they doing better than me? Then they are upset at home. How ignorant is that!
There are many evil things in the flesh. A few days ago, I asked a sister, What are you thinking about? She said, I am thinking about how to pastor. I said, How are you thinking about it? Her reaction was not right. She said, Do you think I can't think? Later, I said, The birds of the air do not sow or reap. She said, So I am not as good as the birds? I said, God dresses the flowers of the field with such beautiful clothes. She said, I am not a flower of the field. It's an intense mentality of a slave and self-protection.
I rebuked her, because I have a good relationship with her. Later, she also had a great deal of release. When people have the knowledge of good and evil, they have strong concepts of right and wrong. When I said something to her, she thought that I wanted to harm her. When she thinks that she is doing the right thing, she is very tired. When pastoring in the church, she also compares and competes with the leaders in the church. How can that be comfortable? How can that be enjoyable?
Therefore, whether it is Christians or others, they must continue to become wiser. What one cares about and what one does not care about is a series of changes in cognition. It is the process of a person going from slave to child. It is a process of constantly renewing one's mind. Some people say that they don't enjoy. In reality, not enjoying means they have not suffered enough. Why don't people enjoy? It is because they do not know how to create enjoyment. They do not know that they are children of God and that they can create future opportunities in the darkness and emptiness. That is also a foolish Galatian. Christians have the status of children, and with the status of children, Christ releases us, enabling us to enter into the process of growth. Some people say that they just don't enjoy, that they are miserable. That is because they haven't suffered enough. It would be good to suffer more.
Recently, I have been observing the situation of a young man in the group. Some time ago, he loved the world and catered to the flesh very much, often making a mess of things and being very painful himself. Now that he has suffered enough, he began to thirst to be released. He spends more time praying and copying assignments every day. A few days ago, that painful feeling returned. He suddenly realized that something was not right. Because he had suffered enough, he quickly prayed, and as a result, he vomited a lot of filth.
The reason why people are controlled is because there is no promise of God inside them. People are controlled by what they care about. If you care about your girlfriend, your girlfriend will become your control. If you care about your parents, and something happens to your parents, you will be controlled by this. Our brothers and sisters must ponder carefully. If you are controlled by your business, you had better become someone who manages your business, not your business managing you. If your mood depends on the success of your business, how can you manage it well? Know that whether your business is good or bad, you can be in control.
When we have faith inside, when we know that we are children of God, when we know that we have God's promises, we use faith to paint a beautiful future for everything we do. God will surely accomplish it for you according to your faith. Because our God is the God who helps us, our God has released us, allowing us to be free. Nothing can control us.
A few months ago, I met a businessman. I asked, How many more months can your business last? He said, It can last another three months. In the blink of an eye, three months passed, and I said, How is your business now? He said, It can last another three months. Then we'll last another three months. I believe that things will change completely after three months. Even if things don't change after three months, his business will continue to be done, so what's there to fear? There's nothing to worry about. Later, he began to pray constantly and be constantly released.
If we don't enjoy, we’ll transform from not enjoying to enjoying, from slave to child, and deal with the knowledge of good and evil within us, deal with the evil habits of the flesh within us, and deal with the things that love the world within us. If the things of this world control us, we will reject them. If anything makes us not enjoy, we will reject it. Nothing can control us, because Christ has released us, allowing us to be free. All our problems will be fulfilled in the promises of Jesus Christ. Our God has promised us that He will open the windows of heaven and pour out His blessings on us. We lack nothing, except faith, and we must use faith to create the future.
Overcoming the Devil's Lies
We can enjoy the freedom of being Christians and being children of God is not forced. Even if we don’t feel good inside, we can create an enjoyable feeling from this unpleasant feeling. Even if we are initially unwilling, we can push ourselves to be willing, no longer being forced to carefully obey God's word, but willingly obeying God's word because we are God's children.
I would like to share a concept with everyone: focus. Only focused people enjoy, and it is difficult for unfocused people to enjoy. Some people ask me how to focus? It's choosing to focus. For example, when we are doing something, we must focus on doing it well. When you start to focus on doing this well, you enjoy it! If you say you can’t focus, I will tell you that you haven’t suffered enough, you’re still not miserable enough. If you like being miserable, then continue to be miserable.
To cultivate a habit of focus, even if darkness surrounds you and there is only a small light in the distance, fix your gaze on that small light and run forward continuously. In the end, you will see the glory of God.
How were the Galatians deceived by the devil, and by the devil's lies? Even though they experienced God, they were unable to focus on the path of faith and felt adrift inside. If we feel adrift inside and frequently look left and right, it is difficult to run this road. Your character must be changed, and you need the Holy Spirit to help you, but when the Holy Spirit comes to deal with you, do not judge good and evil, but thank God for dealing with us.
Everything God does for us is grace! Although the devil often deceives us, whether or not we are deceived depends on our own choices. Once we remove the evil habits of the flesh, a love for the world will be replaced with a love for God, a hope for this life will be replaced with a hope for eternal life, and pride in this life will be replaced with glory in eternity. Illusions will be replaced with God's word, and we will begin to grow to the full stature of Jesus Christ. God's will is for us to enjoy His kingdom and glory. The only thing we need in life is to focus on God's word and continue to grow, and you will surely become someone who enjoys life.
Conclusion
You will enjoy freedom in Jesus Christ and put to death the evil habits of the flesh by the Holy Spirit. This is what God wants to do in us. Although there are still some things that you don’t enjoy, I tell you that it doesn’t matter. You will surely be someone who enjoys life in the future. Your enjoyment will no longer be an enjoyment that caters to the flesh, but an enjoyment in God's word, in destiny, in the eternal plan, continuing to enjoy and walking with God.
Continuously enjoy, continuously claim God's promises, continuously climb spiritual peaks, and meet challenge after challenge. No matter how great the challenges before us, no matter if we feel tired, weary, or helpless now, let us all climb upward with eternal hope, striving for every success and every breakthrough. Each time we claim God's promises, we see God's glory manifested among us, and all our tears will turn into enjoyment within us.
Those who sow in tears will reap with songs of joy. In the end, we will stand before God and receive a crown of glory! God will place a crown on our heads in eternal glory, so these things experienced in this world are not worth mentioning. This momentary, light affliction is producing for us an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison. Before you lies a glorious path, and you will see God walking with you. God will personally fulfill the beautiful plan in us.
May God bless everyone, Amen!
