Introduction
Last week, I spoke at length, and I am not sure how many points you were able to grasp. The most important point is that knowledge of the spiritual realm is crucial. We know too little about the spiritual realm. When we are ignorant and unfamiliar with spiritual matters, we live in confusion. This is a very astonishing thing!
For example, my mother. I cast out many demons from her, and she knows it herself. Then she would say to my brother-in-law, There are no ghosts, no ghosts, where do ghosts come from? My brother-in-law would say, You people are just making things up, how can you talk such nonsense, where do ghosts come from? Later, he slowly understood that the demons living inside people especially like to say one thing: There are no ghosts? There are no ghosts.
Demons like to keep people ignorant of the spiritual realm. If a Christian has no understanding of the spiritual realm, can he be considered to know God or not? Last week, I met a friend. I was still hesitating whether to call him. He has been a Christian for over 30 years, from his youth until now, but his son developed autism.
We need to understand that autism is a spirit of autism that has attached itself to this child. I have heard of children developing autism at the ages of 4, 5, or 6, but have you ever heard of someone developing autism after finishing high school or university? Many Christians cannot see through this because they lack knowledge of the spiritual realm. How can you understand it if you are confused? Today, someone is normal, and tomorrow they become a different person. Don't you find that strange?
Last night, my mother said the most truthful thing about the spiritual realm: It's really strange! Sometimes I just see things as wrong, and when I see something wrong, I get angry. When I see something unpleasant, I get angry, and then I feel uncomfortable. When I understand, I realize everything is fine. Why am I being so hard on my children?
In fact, everyone has this problem. People don't understand this. When people see everything as unpleasant and get angry, that is a demon. When you are controlled, you don't really understand what's happening. If Christians don't understand the spiritual realm and still remain in hearsay about God, going to church every Sunday and then coming back, with the church not teaching spiritual knowledge but only morality, can they know God? No, they cannot know God. When problems arise, they rationalize them.
Some Christians get cancer or other terminal illnesses, and the brothers, sisters, and pastors in their church say that it is God's will. The story of Job in the Bible causes a lot of confusion for many people. Many compare themselves to Job, considering themselves to be Job. They do not know God's will. God's will is not for us to remain in sickness but to be healed and to receive grace to manifest God's glory!
There are many such confusions. For example, some Christians in traditional churches are very concerned about tradition. They see that a person is blind. Why? To manifest God's glory. Then why does this Christian have cancer? Because it is to manifest God's glory. But someone's eyes were blind and then regained their sight, while this person with cancer dies miserably. Can they be the same?
To manifest God's glory, one must know the knowledge of God's glory. Last week, I got so excited while preaching that I spoke for an hour and a half. Why? Because knowing the knowledge of God's glory is extraordinary. My mother had dementia two years ago, but recently she has become very good, so good that she made a lot of chive dumplings for me. I said, Mom, you must fully recover to your previous state of complete clarity! You can do many things! My mom said she definitely could.
Where did this come from? It started from knowing God. If we remain in hearsay about God, it is useless. For example, in the 2010s, my father was hospitalized. I rushed back from afar to see him, but I felt very helpless and didn't know what to do. I couldn't cast out the demon. You can't say that I didn't know there was a God, but I did and didn't, didn't and did, it was just about that kind of situation.
But today, even one of our small pastors, I believe, could handle a situation like my father's. Isn't it just a small cold? Just cast out the spirit of death! But what happened back then? He was treated back and forth in the hospital, and then they said to take him home. What does that mean? Just wait for him to die. Later, he died.
Everyone will die, but the question is, are we among those who only have hearsay about God? Today, some of the brothers and sisters who have come to us are from different churches, and some were led to believe by us. Are we still at the stage of hearsay about God?
Today, I want to talk to you about a topic from the Book of Job.
Scripture
Then Job answered the Lord and said: “I know that You can do everything, And that no purpose of Yours can be withheld from You. ‘Who is this who hides counsel without knowledge?’ Therefore I have uttered what I did not understand, Things too wonderful for me, which I did not know. Listen, please, and let me speak; I will ask You, and You shall answer me.’ “I have heard of You by the hearing of the ear, But now my eye sees You. Therefore I abhor myself, And repent in dust and ashes.” (Job 42:1-6 NKJV)
Job Formerly Had Heard of God
Job himself said that he formerly had heard of God. Open the first chapter of the Book of Job. How can you imagine that such a person formerly had heard of God? He offered sacrifices every day for the peace of his family, fearing that his sons had sinned and forsaken God in their hearts. Every day he sent people to purify themselves in their homes and set up feasts according to the days. Did Job, such a devout man, know God? He himself said that he had only heard of God before.
Hearing about God is quite common among Christians. If I had not experienced so much suffering and hardship, and shed so many tears that could be collected in water bottles, how could I have known God? Today, the grace and healing that we receive among us, where does it begin? It begins from when we start to understand the spiritual realm.
I have been a Christian for so many years, and the church rarely talks about the spiritual realm. But today many people like to bring up the story of Job. A few years ago, I prayed for someone who was healed, and he brought his good friend to me. Was his friend's demon completely cast out of him after he was healed? No. He was very excited when he saw what I did, and he brought me a very miserable Christian he knew.
How miserable was this Christian? He had cancer ten years ago. His throat cancer was cured, but he couldn't eat or drink. When he ate or drank, the food would go into his lungs or nasal cavity. That area was just messed up and couldn't be controlled. As a result, he had a tube inserted into his stomach to inject liquid food to stay alive.
The world is so advanced in medicine. If you can't defecate, you can make another opening to discharge feces. If you can't eat food, you can make an opening in your stomach and inject food into it. I said, God, it would have been great if you had created us like this, with a whole refueling port, like filling oil, how convenient! Eating is so troublesome! But God made us pretty well. What I said is what I do not understand. These things are too wonderful for me, which I did not know.
So, brothers and sisters, when you start to see these things, there are many sad things. As a result, ten years later, when his child was in his teens, his wife got cancer again. Their church is a traditional church, and their theological system is very strange. He felt that he was Job. I said, You have been Job for ten years. Job was restored by the Lord after half a year. What do you do after so long?
I think many people have a common misconception that suffering can glorify God. In fact, suffering can have God's glory, and it can also not have God's glory. For example, some suffering really doesn't have God's glory, because the suffering itself is a curse. There are not many Jobs in this generation. How many people are Job? But many people compare themselves to Job.
He himself has cancer, and his wife also has cancer. You have to think about it, right? He had to argue with me until his face turned red. I said, Why should I argue with him? It's not me who has a hole in my stomach, and it's not my wife who has cancer. If he insists that he is Job, then okay, continue being Job! I'm really helpless!
Why do people remain in hearsay about God, and why can't they see God with their own eyes? There are many reasons for this. Today, we talked about the story of Job. Why talk about the story of Job? Everyone probably knows that the story of Job is very interesting. The story of Job begins with the first chapter. Job was actually very innocent, but he encountered this. He himself had no say in the matter. How did this happen to Job?
Sudden Events Determine Destiny
Actually, one day, the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan also came among them. Don't you find it strange that the sons of God came before God, and Satan was also among them? What does that mean? It means that Satan is also among the sons of God. It is normal for a person to have several good sons and several bad sons.
The Lord asked Satan, From where do you come? Satan answered, From going to and fro on the earth, and from walking back and forth on it. The Lord asked Satan, Have you considered My servant Job, that there is none like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, one who fears God and shuns evil? And still he holds fast to his integrity, although you incited Me against him, to destroy him without cause. We have this question, God, why are you idle asking about Job? If I were Job, I would definitely ask God why he brought this up when he had nothing to do.
Satan said:
So Satan answered the Lord and said, “Does Job fear God for nothing? Have You not made a hedge around him, around his household, and around all that he has on every side? You have blessed the work of his hands, and his possessions have increased in the land. But now, stretch out Your hand and touch all that he has, and he will surely curse You to Your face!” (Job 1:9-11 NKJV)
Do you understand? It turns out that God was betting with the devil. This bet was a big deal, and Job suffered a lot of sin. Job suffered a lot of sin because God and Satan were doing nothing to cause trouble.
As a result, God said:
And the Lord said to Satan, “Behold, all that he has is in your power; only do not lay a hand on his person.” So Satan went out from the presence of the Lord.(Job 1:12 NKJV)
This is what happened one day in heaven, and this is what happened on earth. So I say, the things of the spiritual realm control the things of our world. No matter how much money you have or how much power you have, one thing in the spiritual realm can make you disappear. The things that happen in the spiritual realm are too powerful.
Job experienced such things:
Now there was a day when his sons and daughters were eating and drinking wine in their oldest brother’s house; and a messenger came to Job and said, “The oxen were plowing and the donkeys feeding beside them, when the Sabeans raided them and took them away; indeed they have killed the servants with the edge of the sword; only I have escaped alone to tell you!” While he was still speaking, another came and said, “The fire of God fell from heaven and burned up the sheep and the servants, and consumed them; and I alone have escaped to tell you!” While he was still speaking, another came and said, “The Chaldeans formed three bands, raided the camels and took them away, yes, and killed the servants with the edge of the sword; only I alone have escaped to tell you!” While he was still speaking, another came and said, “Your sons and daughters were eating and drinking wine in their oldest brother’s house, and suddenly a great wind came from across the wilderness and struck the four corners of the house, and it fell on the young people, and they are dead; and I alone have escaped to tell you!”(Job 1:13-19 NKJV)
If you were Job, could you withstand such a blow? This is too sad. In fact, we all have come through this life like this. A sudden event changes our destiny.
So today I want to repeat an old tune. A person's daily life cannot determine your destiny. It is sudden events that determine your destiny. For example, a person takes his girlfriend in a Ferrari sports car, and with only a bang, the person dies. Ordinary eating, drinking, making friends, studying, and doing homework cannot determine your destiny. This bang determines your destiny.
The sudden events that a person encounters determine your destiny. Some people invest and make money, but one failed investment can instantly leave a person bankrupt and immediately return to the starting point. In fact, people often go around in circles at the starting point, constantly returning to the starting point. Job encountered such things, constantly receiving bad news. As a result, Job saw through the things of a person's life.
Job Truly Knew God
Job's reaction was:
Then Job arose, tore his robe, and shaved his head; and he fell to the ground and worshiped, and said: “Naked I came from my mother’s womb, And naked shall I return there. The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; Blessed be the name of the Lord.” In all this Job did not sin nor charge God with wrong.(Job 1:20-22 NKJV)
God bet with Satan in heaven, and Job suffered great harm. Job couldn't bear it either, but he was very strong, and he still praised the Lord. If people could all be like this, it would be great, but unfortunately, there are not many people in the world who can do this. Even so, it is only hearsay about God.
What Job encountered was a process of experiencing God. It is difficult for people to know God if they do not experience suffering and a deep shock in their hearts. So, later Job concluded that God can do all things. In this way, Satan was defeated in the first round.
The scripture writes:
Again there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan came also among them to present himself before the Lord. And the Lord said to Satan, “From where do you come?” So Satan answered the Lord and said, “From going to and fro on the earth, and from walking back and forth on it.”(Job 2:1-2 NKJV)
Today I remind everyone that, to this day, Satan is still going to and fro on the earth, and walking back and forth on it.
God and Satan's conversation was like this:
The Lord said to Satan, “Have you considered My servant Job, that there is none like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, one who fears God and shuns evil? And still he holds fast to his integrity, although you incited Me against him, to destroy him without cause.” Satan answered the Lord and said, “Skin for skin! Yes, all that a man has he will give for his life. But stretch out Your hand now, and touch his bone and his flesh, and he will surely curse You to Your face!” And the Lord said to Satan, “Behold, he is in your hand, but spare his life.” So Satan went out from the presence of the Lord, and struck Job with painful boils from the sole of his foot to the crown of his head. And he took for himself a potsherd with which to scrape himself while he sat in the midst of the ashes. Then his wife said to him, “Do you still hold fast to your integrity? Curse God and die!” But he said to her, “You speak as one of the foolish women speaks. Shall we indeed accept good from God, and shall we not accept adversity?” In all this Job did not sin with his lips.(Job 2:3-10 NKJV)
It turns out that the disasters that happened to Job came from this. Job was very uncomfortable, not only physically uncomfortable but also even more uncomfortable in his heart. As a result, he began to curse himself: Why did I come into this world? His three friends came to comfort him. After the three friends comforted him, God began to speak, from Job chapters 38 to 41. God asked Job many questions, which is simply a collection of heavenly questions. Job could not answer and had no answers. Job had never thought about these questions. Job knew his ignorance.
People must have a clear understanding of themselves. Although Job knew that he had not offended God, a series of disasters came upon him. It was to test whether Job really knew God.
He answered this way:
I know that You can do everything, And that no purpose of Yours can be withheld from You. ‘Who is this who hides counsel without knowledge?’ Therefore I have uttered what I did not understand, Things too wonderful for me, which I did not know. Listen, please, and let me speak; I will ask You, and You shall answer me.(Job 42:2-4 NKJV)
Once a person knows that they don't know, they are not far from understanding. What people fear most is not knowing that they don't know. What is most deadly for people is to talk nonsense. If a person wants to know God, they must deeply imprint these words in their mind. People must know the knowledge of God's glory as the sea fills the ocean! You must know that the sea cannot be measured! You must know that we are individuals, and we must know that there is a God in heaven.
The scriptures say:
I have heard of You by the hearing of the ear, but now my eye sees You. Therefore I abhor myself, and repent in dust and ashes.”(Job 42:5-6 NKJV)
This is called truly knowing God! The revelation that the story of Job gives us is that every suffering makes us know God even more.
Job's reversal:
And the Lord restored Job’s losses when he prayed for his friends. Indeed the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before.(Job 42:10 NKJV)
The timeline of Job's story does not have a clear time, but if we sort it out a bit, it should not be a very long time. We often find people studying the theology of suffering. Every hardship and every suffering, if it can become knowing God, glorifying God, and God revealing Himself, then it is all beneficial suffering. But every suffering and every hardship remains in hearsay about God, then it is a tragedy.
Our God is a Good God
Today we carefully see how Job knew God. First: Know that God can do all things, and God's will cannot be hidden. Today you must know that our God is a good God! Our God both blesses and brings disaster, but our God is still a good God! We are healing our God, and our Cod is making us victorious Gods, relying on our God will not be humiliated. If there is no foundatation, nothing can go on.
In my heart, I know that my God is a good God, my God is healing my God, I know that our God is a God of grace, I will never describe our God as a very evil God.
Why did God bet with Satan? In fact, God's will is to let Job be able to see God with his own eyes, so that he can know God more deeply. Therefore, brothers and sisters, we know the knowledge of God's glory on the road of life every time. Only some difficulties and some hardships can let us know how rich grace and glory, how great power, is in God. It's really too wonderful!
A sister who believed in the Lord called me a few days ago. Her voice was a bit wrong, a bit choked up, and she felt uncomfortable all over, with a sense of weakness. It was seeing that environment and difficulties, seeing the situation she was encountering, a very pale and weak feeling. Why is it so?
Because his son developed depression, and the whole person was very strange in nature. That day, her son locked himself in the room, and nothing would bring him out. As a result, I began to lead her in prayer on the phone, and the prayer began to loosen, and then faith began to be restored inside. It wasn't long before she was okay.
As a result, this day, someone happened to come to learn from me how to serve, and as they served, their spirits rose again. We must know that God is a good God, because two years ago he was lying in the hospital. I went to the hospital to see him. At that time, he was very pale and his whole person was very weak in the hospital. I prayed with him for an hour, and then he went home alive and kicking. I really like to talk about this kind of thing. God's grace and wonder are simply too good!
In my heart, I know that our God can do all things, and God's will cannot be hindered by anyone! What is God's will? The entire Bible speaks clearly, God's will is to save! God's will is for us to gain grace through Him! It is for all things to be united in Jesus Christ!
God is a good God. Today we must establish this concept. Some Christians who have heard of God say it with their mouths, but they resent God in their hearts. They will think why it is so, why let those things come upon me.
Today, our Chinese Mingding Destiny has answers. One mystery is that you do not get God's promise unless you win the battle. Today, although Job did not fight, Job can know God's will! God is a good God, this is a very important foundation. Sometimes we don't understand why God created Satan, but the hymn we sang today was made by our brothers and sisters. God makes all things beautiful in its time. Can you understand it? God created Satan is useful! Today we thank God for making all things beautiful in its time.
We can choose that God is a good God, or we can choose that God is not a good God and blame God. When people live in pain, they say, God, it seems that God is not good to him. If we do not know that God is a good God, we still remain in hearsay about God. If we believe that our God is a good God, our God is saving our God, and we look to our God with hope, there is no turning back from suffering.
Serving this good God and being able to know Him is a great gift. Our God can do all things, our God is mighty. I think our God is a mighty God.
When I first believed in the Lord, I concluded a rule: if this person is very capable but has no love, it is very dangerous; or if this person has a lot of love, loves you very much, but has power, that love is useless love. So our God is both capable and loves us. These two things together are too good.
Let's think about it carefully. We often say that Jesus loves me, but you see others, they rarely use the word love to describe it. But the phrase Jesus loves me is easy to say. So our God can do all things, this is very important. My thought at the time was, if we need a God, we will find the greatest God, who can do all things, and is greatly capable. Later, after finding Jesus Christ, I found that He was also full of love. It was too good. There is no fear in love.
Today, we must figure out that love and power are complementary. I know that the brothers and sisters among us are saying very well that my mother loves me very much, but your mother can't solve your problems. Loving is also very helpless. One of our sisters at the time was depressed
In Adversity, Hold Fast to the Faith that God Will Save Us
Our God is intrinsically an omnipotent, gracious, and loving God, yet many do not believe. Today, I wish to impart a spiritual principle: What you do not believe, you shall not receive; what you believe, you shall obtain. Job, from the outset, believed in God's goodness. Despite uttering much that was ignorant, he still experienced God's miraculous turnaround, and Jehovah restored Job from his affliction.
The Bible does not detail Job's understanding of the spiritual realm, but it affirms that the God we believe in is capable of all things. He was unaware that his series of tragic experiences stemmed from a wager between God and Satan, but he transformed these experiences into a personal encounter with God, because he held fast to the faith within and had great confidence in God. Even in such circumstances, as dire as losing all possessions and contracting severe illness, he persevered in his faith in God.
Previously, he had only heard of God, but now, despite not yet being restored from his affliction, he could personally converse with God – a remarkable thing. Thus, God works all things together for the good of those who love Him. In his suffering, he heard God speak to him at length. David, the King of Israel, penned many Psalms during his 13 years of exile, and they were exceptionally well-written!
David wrote:
O Lord, rebuke me not in your anger, nor discipline me in your wrath. Be gracious to me, O Lord, for I am languishing; heal me, O Lord, for my bones are troubled. My soul also is greatly troubled. But you, O Lord—how long? Turn, O Lord, deliver my life; save me for the sake of your steadfast love. For in death there is no remembrance of you; in Sheol who will give you praise? I am weary with my moaning; every night I flood my bed with tears; I drench my couch with my weeping. My eye wastes away because of grief; it grows weak because of all my foes. Depart from me, all you workers of evil, for the Lord has heard the sound of my weeping. The Lord has heard my plea; the Lord accepts my prayer. All my enemies shall be ashamed and greatly troubled; they shall turn back and be put to shame in a moment. (Psalm 6:1-10)
This was written by David in his affliction. He was frequently in flight, uncertain of tomorrow, unsure of when King Saul might kill him. David had once slain Goliath, a remarkable feat, yet in his dire circumstances, he still believed that those who trust in God would not be put to shame! God would surely respond to his prayer.
He was destitute and pursued, whom could he rely on? It was in such situations that he repeatedly experienced God's salvation. His survival to this day, his ability to write the Psalms, was itself a miracle. Later, David became King of Israel. He believed that God is a good God, and that was his foundation.
God is the God who saves us! Though we encounter many things that are difficult to understand, it is alright. Make sense of what you can, but the most important thing is to revere God, and not utter words of complaint. Though it was God's wager with Satan that caused Job to experience all of this, God restored Job from his affliction and gave him more than he had before.
If you wish to know God, you must establish a firm foundation. If you do not understand that God is a good God and that God is capable of all things, then there is no way to proceed. We must understand that these things are too wondrous for us to grasp.
The most fatal flaw of man is to remove self-righteousness. A few days ago, I ministered to someone with depression. He was very confident, but that kind of confidence is useless; otherwise, he would not be taking antidepressants. I challenged him a bit, I like to knock him down a bit first. As a result, he said he did not like my way of speaking, patronizingly. He is very low, and people like this often do not like this approach. But it is effective. Until now, this young man is not completely well yet, but I have confidence.
If self-righteousness cannot be removed, one cannot know God. What I speak of are things I do not understand. These things are too wondrous, I do not know.
Earlier, Job said:
“Oh that my vexation were weighed, and all my calamity laid in the balances! For then it would be heavier than the sand of the sea; therefore my words have been rash. (Job 6:1-3)
At that time, Job thought he was speaking well, and people often speak like that, but few truly understand. When quoting these words, be careful not to quote these. From chapter 2 to chapter 31, one should not randomly quote these. Do not assume that these words are correct. What can be quoted are chapters 38, 39, 40, 41, and 42, especially the words of chapter 42.
The preceding chapters are man's misunderstandings and myths about God, Job's true reactions when facing difficulties. This is not truth but what Job said in hearsay about God. Now he knows that he does not understand. But he knows that God's will cannot be thwarted, and man's ignorant words cannot hide God's will. We must know that God's will is a good will, and we must begin to understand God's plan.
It is difficult for us to understand why God created the devil. Can you understand? Initially, I found it a bit difficult to understand, but slowly I came to understand. But we know that God's good intentions cannot be hindered. God’s view of this person, what is man's view of people. I tell people how long they live all the same, some people cannot understand. Can you understand? It does not matter how long people live, a hundred years of life is useless. People think they understand, do you really understand life and death? Do you really understand what it means to be alive?
We must never be self-righteous. Let your 'Yes' be 'Yes,' and your 'No,' 'No.' Man knows that he knows, and does not know that he does not know.
As the scripture says:
Let what you say be simply ‘Yes’ or ‘No’; anything more than this comes from evil. (Matthew 5:37)
If we remain in hearsay about God today, it is because of our presumptuousness. If you want to see God with your own eyes, you must know that there are many things you do not understand. Why could Job see God with his own eyes?
Seeking God is Crucial
The Bible says:
‘Hear, and I will speak; I will question you, and you declare to me.’ (Job 42:4)
This means seeking God's revelation. If the Holy Spirit does not guide us to know the truth today, it is difficult for us to know the truth on our own. It is very important to know the truth through the Holy Spirit. We enter through the Holy Spirit, we do things through the Holy Spirit, and we know God through the Spirit of God.
Being filled with the Holy Spirit is mentioned in the Bible, but some self-righteous people think that it is Pentecostalism. Isn’t that what the Bible says? Why does doing what the Bible says make you a Pentecostal? Then I think Jesus and the Apostle Paul should be labeled as Pentecostals. This is too self-righteous.
When people know that they do not know, they begin to seek God. Seeking God is crucial. My greatest strength is that I know that I do not know. I know that many things are too wondrous for me to know. The testimonials you see today are just a drop in the ocean. The knowledge of the glory of Jehovah God fills the ocean like the sea. Today, in the ocean of knowledge of God, we have only gained a drop. Many people may not even have a drop because they are too self-righteous.
Why do some people think they are Job? Job only experienced a small half-year before turning around, so what's the point of experiencing ten years of cancer? Cancer is not a good thing. Therefore, we must know that knowing God is not hearsay about God, but seeing God with our own eyes, and all things must be united in Jesus Christ.
Today, we must know what God's will is. God's will is to separate these people in the world. Some are regarded as treasures and received into His kingdom, and some are regarded as garbage and thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur. The devil cleans up the garbage. Why is the church clean today? That’s because the garbage was cleaned up by the devil. Therefore, our church has a characteristic, that is, we will no longer invite those who leave back, but if they are willing to come back, we are willing to accept them.
Once, when I was exorcising demons, the demon said that he had deceived many people. Why are people deceived by the devil? Because there is a lot of garbage in people's hearts, so our brothers and sisters must not fall into the devil's tricks. It is not a good thing to fall into the devil's tricks. Today our brothers and sisters must know that every difficulty is an opportunity for you to see God with your own eyes, because God is choosing people of faith. All those who trust in God will not be put to shame. People must practice their faith in suffering. Every suffering suffered for the name of God, every entanglement, discomfort, and weakness are all opportunities to see God with your own eyes.
So, we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from ourselves. Many things were not our choice to encounter, and many things we did not want to encounter, but it does not matter when we encounter them, because we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from ourselves.
The scripture is written like this:
But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that the surpassing power belongs to God and not to us. We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed. We always carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body. For we who are alive are always being given over to death for Jesus’ sake, so that his life may be revealed in our mortal body. (2 Corinthians 4:7-11)
Do you want to know God? If you really want to know God, you have a Mingding Destiny, then you will definitely ride a roller coaster in your journey of faith. Every time you rush past, looking back at the road you have traveled, you will marvel at God's work. Today, some of us may still be experiencing difficulties, but no matter whether your difficulties are God's trials or because you have suffered curses in the past, no matter what these are, be determined to believe that our God is a good God, and be determined to believe that God can do all things, and be determined to believe that God's will cannot be hindered, and be determined to remove the self-righteousness within us, and begin to seek God's revelation, and God will surely restore us from our affliction!
Every experience is an experience of this treasure revealing His all-surpassing power in our lives. Every time it seems like we are about to die, but the power of Jesus Christ's resurrection is revealed again. Every time we see a desperate situation, that flickering faith sees God's great power again.
Become a Person Who Sees God with His Own Eyes
A few days ago, I ministered to a sister who was very desperate. After praying with me, she became much better and her son improved a lot. Every time she trusts in God, God releases His great power on her son, and God will remember us for our sake.
The scripture says:
So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day. For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal. (2 Corinthians 4:16-18)
For we know that if the tent that is our earthly home is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. For in this tent we groan, longing to put on our heavenly dwelling, so that by putting it on we may not be found naked. For while we are still in this tent, we groan, being burdened—not that we would be unclothed, but that we would be further clothed, so that what is mortal may be swallowed up by life. (2 Corinthians 5:1-4)
So we are always of good courage. We know that while we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord, for we walk by faith, not by sight. Yes, we are of good courage, and we would rather be away from the body and at home with the Lord. So whether we are at home or away, we make it our aim to please him. For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive what is due for what he has done in the body, whether good or evil. (2 Corinthians 5:6-10)
I think God's love is inspiring us. We have seen through the things of the world, and although there are occasional moments of confusion, when we wake up, we still see through life and death, and we see through the sufferings of the world! No matter what happens in the world, overcoming the tricks of the devil Satan will make us treasures in God's eyes, so that our lives, no matter what environment we are in, can show God's glory. In this way, we become people who have seen God with our own eyes.
If you ask me: What have you seen? I haven't seen anything. Have you been to heaven? I have not been there. I have never been to heaven or hell, but one thing I know is that God's grace and God's power are constantly being demonstrated through my service! Although I have never been to heaven, I often see God with my own eyes.
Every time I am very desperate, but I persevere with my dying faith, I have come through it. Today, let us regain our faith, let us hope to receive that crown of glory in eternity, and completely destroy our dreams in the world, and do not only care about the things of this world!
Today, if you are willing to offer your life completely as a living sacrifice, what does the world matter? Therefore, some brothers and sisters mentioned her children's schooling and many other things of all kinds. Isn’t life a very simple thing? Just like that, what can you control when a strong wind blows? Can human strength resist the storms in life?
We can only rely on God, rely on Jesus Christ, and constantly know the knowledge of God's glory, let our hope be built in heaven, and let the effectiveness of our service in the world follow us into eternity. God constantly reveals Himself to us, and we constantly know God, and constantly experience God, so that a person's life can be wonderful, and God's will is originally so!
May God bless everyone!
