Introduction

Good day, everyone! Let's delve into Genesis, Chapter 11. At first glance, it might seem as though God felt insecure upon witnessing the construction of these towers, fearing that humanity would achieve anything they set their minds to. It might appear as though God was envious, uncomfortable, and joining in the rat race with these people. However, that is not the case. The central theme of Genesis, Chapter 11 is: The corrupt worldly logic system of fallen man.

The most potent aspect of this world is its ability to make you forget one crucial thing: life and death. If you can be made to forget life and death, you will conform to the norm. Preparing for postgraduate exams, attending university, staying busy, pursuing ambitions, striving to become the wealthiest person, climbing the ladder... climbing with all your might, only to die in the end. People forget about life and death and climb in this world, one after another.

Once, my mother was on this path to the Tower of Babel. After I cast out the demons that afflicted her, she returned, for her spirit had been taken away. I asked, "Where did you go?" She recounted, "I was taken away. Someone behind me, armed with a gun, forced me to walk upwards, circling around and around." I inquired, "How high did you circle?" She replied, "I circled about two-thirds of the way up. That tower was incredibly tall!" I asked, "You circled two-thirds of the way up, and then what?" She said, "It was so tiring, I just kept climbing." I asked, "And then what happened?" She said, "Then I could hear you all praying, and suddenly a person in a large red robe told me: Go back! And then a force brought me back." My mother told me that thing was called the Tower of Babel.

This incident evokes a certain association. People all over the world are climbing this Tower of Babel, which represents the very strict logical system of the world. Once people forget about life and death, things become very interesting. I once ministered to a cancer patient who had a lump on his knee. When the lump burst, blood gushed out like a water pipe, which was quite frightening. Just days before his death, he was arguing with his sister over money. A few days later, as I was leading him in prayer, he passed away in front of my camera. I was astonished: if a person only had three days to live, would they still haggle over such matters? It seems unlikely. As a person nears death, their words become kinder. But people are trapped by this logical system, stuck fast. People all over the world are desperately climbing upwards.

Two weeks before my mother passed away, she spoke very normally. She chatted with me, recalling her youth as a branch secretary, when people gave her five sacks of wheat. There was also a time when she insisted on returning to her hometown to reclaim her house. She had left her hometown at the age of four, and at 85, she wanted to return to reclaim her house. What had happened to that house? Especially a house made of earth, it would have long disappeared, turned to dust. If someone had rebuilt or repaired it on that land, you truly couldn't afford to repay the money they had spent on renovations over 80 years.

People are easily deceived by demons. They are deceived because they have a strict worldly logic system in their hearts. Another cancer patient, whom I also ministered to, passed away in front of my camera as well. The camera was on, his eyes were wide open. I was ministering to him until his death. That night, he was very weak. When I ministered to him, he could stand up and walk. After standing up, he started: eight hundred million, thirty million... I asked, "What are you muttering about?" He said, "Muttering about money." "Teacher, I feel better, I can lie down and sleep." Six hours later, I called again, and his aunt answered. I said, "Check if he's still breathing." His aunt even wanted me to check. How could I check?

Some people think: Teacher, how can you speak like that when someone has died? I said: I really don't care about a few more or less deaths. You must understand my heart. Whether you say I'm tough or insightful, I've seen through it all. I wouldn't care much if I myself died. When they checked, there was no pulse, no breathing, he was dead! Six hours before, he was still talking about money. I realized that people's goals are very clear: to seize things in this world.

You may recall me saying that if a person cannot accomplish something, the problem usually lies in three areas: unclear goals, unclear strategies, and incorrect methods. But the worldly logic system is the same. If you want to achieve something in this world, you really need clear goals, clear strategies, and correct methods. Even if you have clear goals, clear strategies, and correct methods in this world, you cannot stop one thing: you will die, and you will be completely trapped by this world.

Now the whole world had one language and a common speech. As people moved eastward, they found a plain in Shinar and settled there. They said to each other, “Come, let’s make bricks and bake them thoroughly.” They used brick instead of stone, and tar for mortar. Then they said, “Come, let us build ourselves a city, with a tower that reaches to the heavens, so that we may make a name for ourselves; otherwise we will be scattered over the face of the whole earth.” (Genesis 11:1-4)

It can be said that this passage represents the complete worldly logic system.

The Complete Worldly Logic System

These people had very clear goals, very clear strategies, and very correct methods. So why did God scatter them? You must understand that this thing is particularly corrupting. Because the goals are too clear, people get so busy that they forget about eternal life. If you look closely at this world, we must say that Hitler had a very Mingding Destiny. His goals were very clear, his strategies were very clear, and his methods were very correct, but he lacked one thing: he forgot about life and death. People must never forget this. If you forget, you will set worldly goals, and as you climb, you will be trapped by this world, which is very dangerous.

Hitler's goal was very clear. Germany became a defeated nation in World War I. To save Germany, he adopted a series of Tower of Babel strategies. His goal was very clear: to build a city and a tower that reached to the heavens, to make a name for themselves. What did they want to make a name for? They wanted to proclaim that the German nation was the most superior nation in the world. Under Hitler's leadership, the German nation was united, and the entire country was in a state of frenzy. With a powerful leader, you see Hitler's gestures, and people went mad. Their goals were very clear, they spoke the same language, all speaking German, and everyone was running towards the same goal. In the East, Hideki Tojo claimed: Our Great Japanese Empire will establish the Greater East Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere. That's what they did. These people all had very clear goals, their hearts were very united, and for the sake of a great goal, they completely corrupted their countries.

Are you a little Hitler? You might be a little Hitler in your circle, and if you are, that's a problem. Listen carefully to this logical system: to do something, to have a great project, a project with the ability to reach the heavens, called a tower that reaches to the heavens. Some people think: I want to be the richest person in the world! They get so close to reaching the heavens, and then they fall from the sky. I want to be a flying pig, a pig that can fly in the wind, called a flying pig. When the wind stops, it falls because it is not an eagle. A tower that reaches to the heavens is a lofty goal. Was Hitler selfish? He had a lofty goal: to make a name for ourselves, so that we would not be scattered over the face of the whole earth. As a result, they offended God. Why did they offend God? Not because God was afraid of being offended, but because God wanted to save people from the logical system of this world.

Some people say: Teacher, what he said is similar to what you said. If you ask me, it's very different from what I said. When have I ever made a name for myself? Our church has a characteristic: decades ago, someone made a prophecy. He was an American prophet who wrote a book saying that in the future there would be a faceless, nameless church; everyone in this church would be like Jesus, and everyone in this church would be like the Apostle Paul. This American prophet just passed away two or three years ago. He was very young when he wrote this book. He didn't know that he was writing about us! In what we preach, you won't hear people's names, it's all about preaching God's name. Now everyone knows how the worldly logic system corrupts people because they make a name for themselves. We preach God's name. Why do we preach God's name? Because we studied Genesis Chapter 11 and learned that we must not make a name for ourselves.

Some time ago, there was a very interesting pastor. Two women suddenly came to this pastor's church. These two women had permed their hair into afros. If we have seen the videos, we know what afros are. After these two afros came to the church, they joined forces with their pastor. This pastor didn't do well in school when he was young. He didn't know how strict the worldly logic system is in corrupting people. These two afros told this pastor that they were going to make him a world-famous pastor.

If someone said to me: Pastor, I want to make you a world-famous pastor! I would say to them: Forget it! You can make your head a world-famous head, I won't fall for it. Do you want to get me up to the Tower of Babel? If I drank too much, you would turn on a flashlight and say: Pastor, climb up! If I really drank too much, I would say: If you turn off the flashlight, I'll fall down. But I haven't been drinking, and I'm not talking nonsense. This thing is corrupting. This path to the tower that reaches to the heavens seems very spiritual. I'll make you a world-famous pastor, so you can be a blessing to all nations and peoples on earth. Do you think I didn't do well in elementary school? I did well in elementary school. This is called the world's logical system, and I won't fall for it.

Everyone should take a closer look, this thing is quite corrupting. I thank God! I haven't touched any of these things. We neither build a city nor build a tower, and our tower doesn't reach to the heavens. We don't make a name for ourselves, and we still want to be scattered over the face of the whole earth. We don't touch anything, we just want to make it impossible for the devil to play. We just want to be scattered over the face of the whole earth, so the devil has no chance. Because we completely don't follow the worldly logic system, this worldly logic system is very corrupting.

If you go to England, there is a photo spot at St. Paul's Cathedral. Other than that big cathedral building, there is nothing else, this is a tower that reaches to the heavens. Some time ago, I met a sister who told me something. She said that the epidemic was quite severe because before the epidemic, there was a group of Christian businessmen who probably didn't do well in elementary school and didn't understand Genesis 11. They encouraged a pastor to build a large cathedral. This pastor fell for it and was trapped. These businessmen donated money to build a huge cathedral, which should be larger than St. Paul's Cathedral. They borrowed hundreds of millions to build it and it became a photo spot in their area.

Now that the church is built, the epidemic has come. Where are you going to collect money? Now when I think about it, I can feel the pastor's pain across thousands of mountains and rivers. These people are all trapped in the logical system of the Tower of Babel. I have a template for this. If you ask me if I want to do this, I will first ask if Jesus wants to do it. Jesus didn't build St. Paul's Cathedral. Why should I do it? Did Paul do it? Paul didn't do it. Why should I do it? I won't do this. If you want to trap me, it's quite difficult.

Some people say: Teacher, you are too shrewd! I said I'm not good, Jesus is good. Jesus is the only human being in human society who is shrewd. Jesus came into the world as a man, and He is our standard. We should do what He did well, and we should forget what He didn't do. The Apostle Paul is my standard, and we must imitate Paul. If you don't do it well and get into the logical system of the Tower of Babel, that will be fatal. Imitating Jesus and imitating Paul is the essence of Chinese Mingding Destiny. Why should I trap myself? When the epidemic comes, I have to repay the loan.

We will never make a name for ourselves. Some people want to know who these people are? What are you going to do if you know? Do you think I want to become a world-famous pastor? I don't want to become a world-famous pastor. I want to become a world-unfamous pastor, just a small pastor in a small church. Now there are no pastors left! Only Chinese Mingding Destiny remains. I can die, but the word of God will last forever.

Worshipping Heroes, the Chief of Heroes

The logical system of this world must be to worship heroes. Let's think about it. If there were no Hitler in this world, would Germany have suffered so much? The heroes of this world have brought a lot of corruption to the world.

As people moved eastward, they found a plain in Shinar and settled there. (Genesis 11:2)

Let's take a closer look at the previous chapter:

The sons of Ham: Cush, Mizraim, Put and Canaan. The sons of Cush: Seba, Havilah, Sabtah, Raamah and Sabteka. The sons of Raamah: Sheba and Dedan. Cush was the father of Nimrod, who grew to be a mighty warrior on the earth. He was a mighty hunter before the Lord; that is why it is said, “Like Nimrod, a mighty hunter before the Lord.” The first centers of his kingdom were Babylon, Uruk, Akkad and Kalneh, in Shinar. (Genesis 10:6-10)

These people are all in Shinar. The person who built the Tower of Babel was Nimrod. Everyone should know that anyone who worships heroes will be trapped by the logical system of this world. If an average person can realize this, he doesn't need to go to elementary school anymore. The chief of heroes, this is no joke. Many people come to me because of my reputation and want me to minister to them. I know that they are here to worship a master! When I hear this, I understand that this person is still wandering around on the Tower of Babel. When you come down from the Tower of Babel, then come to Chinese Mingding Destiny!

Some people even ask me to minister to them by name. Why? They think that if they worship me as a master, I should thank them. Just don't push me onto the Tower of Babel, and I'll thank you. Don't end up really thinking you're a master, that would be a problem! Some time ago, several masters appeared, some who practiced Tai Chi, some who practiced boxing, and they were beaten black and blue in the ring. If I become a master, I can only attract people to challenge me, and I'll be beaten black and blue too. Then I'll be in the same group as them. I'll say to them: Young people, you don't have martial ethics. Who told you to be a master?

So, when someone comes to me for a PK, I say: I surrender first. Why do I surrender first? I'm not a master. If you knock me down, what will happen? At most, you knock me down, and you're just a small master. You PK a nobody, what can you get? You don't get anything. If you have the ability, go PK with Chinese Mingding Destiny, go PK with God, and you'll kick a steel plate. It's better to PK with God. So, I usually don't minister to people who worship masters. I'm willing to minister to even the smallest brothers and sisters who come to us. I want to deal with this problem of worshipping masters.

There is a sister among us who is very distressed, and her pastor can't comfort her. If you can't comfort her, you can't ignore her! Later, her pastor came to me. I said: It's okay, let me talk to her and create a group. Her mother suddenly passed away from a cerebral hemorrhage. Ah! It's hard! I know I was very sad when my mother died. I really love my mother, and I know she must have loved her mother very much, but she passed away. My ministry is not based on money. Do you think I'll minister to you if you have a lot of money? I won't minister to you even if you have a lot of money. I'll minister to the little ones among us. As a result, I enlightened her and made it clear that she had seen through life and death. I also pulled her back from inside the Tower of Babel. I hope she doesn't go back to climb it one day.

Truly I tell you, anyone who gives a cup of cold water to one of these little ones in the name of a disciple will certainly not lose their reward.” (Matthew 10:42)

Some people ask me, what does "involution" mean? Because the word "involution" is contemporary. There was no such word in my era. It's only recently that this word has appeared. I don't know who invented the word "involution". I thought it was a bedroll or a flower roll. Later, I knew why it was called "involution". The Chinese invented this word too well. The Tower of Babel is an involution, it is rolled up layer by layer, with a slope to climb up, and when you climb to the top, you fall down, all the way down into the abyss. For example, people go to school, study in high school, take the college entrance examination, take a master's degree, and study for a doctorate, and then they can't graduate after they finish their studies. Isn't it ruined if they can't graduate after they finish their studies? I'll bring him out of here and let his mind start to clear. If a person can come out of worshipping heroes, you're basically about to come down from the Tower of Babel.

Why do people enter the logical system of this world? When they see the richest man in the world, wow! Their hearts melt. Does he have a girlfriend? They're all married. When they see that there's no chance, they regret it so much. If he doesn't have a wife, then I have to rush up. When they rush up, he has a wife. Then I have to start a movement, polygamy. Why? Because there are too many scumbags in this world, so we have to make a hero. That's why some people want to promote polygamy, because there are too few heroes! Nimrod had thousands of wives in his three palaces and six courtyards! It's okay, make it one thousand and one. He has money, the chief of heroes. There are too many scumbags and too few heroes! There's a saying: How can we get brave men to guard the four directions! There are too few Nimrods, and too many people want to marry Nimrod, so it doesn't matter if there's one more.

The worship of heroes is still the same today. Once, I went to see an old woman. This old woman's legs and feet were not very good. When I went to see her, she didn't have many years to live. Her body was not as good as my mother's! As soon as she opened her mouth, she said: Look at how the children of the old Li family have made a fortune, look at how the children of the old Zhang family in the south of the courtyard have made a lot of money recently. All she talked to me about was this. I thought, why are you talking to me about this? Can you talk to me about your son? Ah! My son is not good. What if your son was Nimrod? Then she would be very comforted.

If you look closely at this world, is it like this? When a child gets first place in an exam, the mother walks differently, her nostrils are turned up to the sky, and the rain flows into her nostrils. People worship heroes. Why don't you think about life and death? This sister's mother died, and I comforted her. In fact, I'm telling everyone: Death is good beyond compare. Ah! Teacher, why are you saying that? Because when a person dies, you become a little more sober. The problem with many people is that they know they have the Mingding Destiny to make money, but they don't know if they have the Mingding Destiny to spend money! Like the World Cup, this is all about worshipping heroes.

People play soccer so well in the World Cup! People like me who play soccer are a joke. I didn't even touch the ball in one game. When they kicked it over, I kicked it too early, and my foot went up and swung around. The ball hadn't arrived yet. By the time I retracted my foot, the ball had already gone through my crotch. Ah! Everyone laughed! Why didn't anyone come to see my ball? Because I'm not a hero, I'm a bear. You must know that worshipping heroes is a worldly logical system, and it's too difficult to break this thing.

One day, I took a sister out to eat, and we stopped at a traffic light. The sister was sitting in the passenger seat, and her mother was sitting in the back. Then she was there, wow! I said: What are you wowing about? Looking out through the glass window, a Lamborghini was parked next to us, lying on the ground like a toad. Then she was intoxicated, and the person driving the Lamborghini was a handsome guy. It turned out that she came to our church to find a handsome guy. We don't have that in our church. Even if we did, I wouldn't let you meet him. After they finished eating my food and drinking my drinks, they said: Teacher, bye-bye, I'm going somewhere else to find someone who drives a Lamborghini. I said: Okay, you go find someone who drives a Lamborghini. I can't drive that thing. I said: What if the person driving the Lamborghini is an old man? She said: An old man is fine too, I'm willing, as long as he's a hero who can afford a Lamborghini.

Then do you think this hero has a vision? He has a vision; does he have a dream? He has a dream; does he have a name? He has a name. But it's all a worldly logical system. The corruption that this thing will bring in the future is too deep. Therefore, brothers and sisters, you must begin to understand that life is not long, seventy or eighty years, cherish it! Cherish what? Because time is not long, live one day and be happy one day! Don't envy other people's businesses that are bigger than yours, because they don't have as much joy as you, because they don't see as clearly as you. Therefore, cherish it. Cherish what? Cherish the grace that God has given you, cherish the supply of God while people are alive, and we live in God's blessing and grace all our lives.

When you hear this, teacher, you're忽悠ing me again? No忽悠ing, this road is the good road! This road can make people live happily! This road can make people live easily! This road no longer makes people卷 into it! This road makes people live freely, because we are saved so that we may be free. If you haven't tasted the taste of freedom, you don't know. If you don't know, I won't tell you. It's good for people to live freely all their lives!

The Corruption of the Worldly Logic System

And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven, and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth. (Genesis 11:4)

If you understand the corruption of the worldly logic system, you would not choose this path, nor would you worship these heroes. Let us list all the most powerful heroes in the world. I ask you, did Qin Shi Huang live well? Qin Shi Huang did not live well! It was very hard, but he was the foremost hero in the world! Is it good to be famous? It is not good to be famous! People fear fame as pigs fear fatness! Unless you are a pig, you will not fear fame or fatness. Even pigs fear fatness! This describes people as being like pigs. The corruption brought about by this worldly logic system is extremely far-reaching, causing people to live in pain throughout their lives.

One day, I was riding my bicycle, stopping at a traffic light. Next to me was someone on a motorcycle, a Harley-Davidson. The seat was very low, the handlebars were very long, and the person sat there like a little monkey. I was riding my bicycle, and when I saw him rev the engine, "Vroom!" So cool, so awesome. If I thought, "Oh, my bike can't do that," I would feel uncomfortable. If I did not have this worldly logic system, I would be very happy riding my bicycle. If there was a Harley next to me, or even a Lamborghini, what does it matter to me? I am happy, unaffected.

These two logic systems bring completely different pain and joy. If I were riding a motorcycle and saw a car next to me, I would also feel happy. If I were carrying the worldly logic system, I would say, "Oh, why isn't it a four-wheeler? If only it had four wheels." Look, why isn't it a Lamborghini? Actually, sitting inside a Lamborghini is so stuffy, so low you can only lie down to drive. What is that? I wouldn't even want it if you gave it to me.

This worldly logic system can rob a person of a lifetime of happiness. You can never be better than the person above you. Moreover, when you reach the top, you are about to be finished. It is not just that people fear fame and pigs fear fatness; when you get to the top, you become a pig waiting to be slaughtered. So, brothers and sisters, can we stop climbing with the worldly logic system and instead climb with the godly logic system? Therefore, Chinese Mingding Destiny is not climbing the Tower of Babel; Chinese Mingding Destiny is climbing the mountain of the Lord, entering the temple of the God of Jacob.

And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths; for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem. (Isaiah 2:3)

Climbing the mountain of the Lord, entering the temple of the God of Jacob, brings unparalleled joy throughout life. As you climb the spiritual truth and increasingly recognize the truth, you will become more and more victorious. Nothing can rob you of the grace that comes from God within you. So, do not say that China's richest people do not have good outcomes; it is the same all over the world. That is caused by the worldly logic system. Do not just talk about China; it is the same everywhere.

I am very grateful to God. I really want to place a job advertisement for God: being a priest of the Lord God is infinitely good. It is so wonderful! You will never lack in your life. This is the happiest profession in the world, the most wonderful profession in the world, it is just good! May our brothers and sisters desire to be priests of the Lord God, it is infinitely good! God has prepared for those who love Him what no eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no heart has imagined. The question is how much or how little people love God.

But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. (1 Corinthians 2:9)

Many people climb the Tower of Babel until they are tired, and then they come to me and say, "Teacher, pray for me." I say, "Pray for what? You might as well stop climbing that Tower of Babel and come with me to climb the mountain of the Lord." This is not something that prayer can solve; it is a matter of your thoughts and intentions.

Some years ago, someone introduced me to a famous pastor, a very famous pastor, a pastor of a large church. He had a brain tumor. I am an unknown person; I do not want to be well-known. As a result, this famous pastor who was introduced to me had a brain tumor, and I said I would minister to him. Why did I minister to him? Because his good friend opened a church, and I went to visit and incidentally healed someone who was being electrocuted all over, and also healed someone who was paralyzed on one side. He said, "Wow, you are so amazing, you must minister to him, he is my good friend, he has a brain tumor." I said, "Then I will minister to him."

I said, "You are a pastor of a large church, can you tell me why you got a brain tumor?" He told me, "As a pastor, I can only rest one day a week." I felt uncomfortable listening to that, thinking, "How many days do you want to rest? Resting one day still feels like not enough. I have not rested a single day from my twenties until today! If anyone should get it, it should not be you." Then he said, "There are too many things in the church. I manage thirty to fifty small groups, a total of thirty to fifty small group leaders. These small group leaders are replaced every three years." I said, "Why?" He said, "They are replaced every three years because the small group leaders have to come to the church once a week for leadership training, and then one day to lead the small group, and then come to the church on Sunday. They cannot last long, they get burned out! I have to replace them one by one, and then replace them again, so I am so tired!" I thought, "The ordinary members of our church spend more time than your small group leaders, but they are not burned out." I wondered what his logic was. He added, "How can I not get a brain tumor?"

So that was it, tiredness. Later, I thought, "Why am I not tired?" Because I enjoy it. Once I say I enjoy it, there is no comparison. The difference between liking to do something and not liking to do something is too great. I love God, I enjoy serving God. People who do not love God enjoy traveling, but serving God is painful. If God does not give you a tumor, what will He give you? You have really become a tumor pastor. I encourage everyone to enjoy loving God. I love God, I love the Lord my God with all my heart, with all my soul, and with all my strength, so I never get burned out. The fire of God falls on me and does not burn me out! I am full of enthusiasm, I enjoy loving God. A person who loves God will be willing to keep and follow God's words, willing to serve Him, willing to willingly lay down his life for God's sheep. What burnout? I only burn others out.

Some pastors see that I am doing so well, and they are not doing well, so they become burned-out pastors. After being burned out for a long time, they become tumor pastors. What I mean is that this worldly logic system is too corrupt. Originally surnamed Chen, later becoming a tumor pastor, Pastor Li also becomes a tumor pastor. All the pastors become tumor pastors, it is really corrupt. So, never again proclaim your own name, never again build a tower whose top reaches to heaven. Never build any large cathedrals, never gather all the people together, but let them be scattered throughout the earth, which is infinitely good. God's heart can be satisfied through us, and we will be recorded in God's book. From verse 10, Shem begat Arphaxad, Arphaxad begat Salah, all the way to Abram, who is Abraham.

These are the generations of Shem: Shem was an hundred years old, and begat Arphaxad two years after the flood: And Shem lived after he begat Arphaxad five hundred years, and begat sons and daughters. And Arphaxad lived five and thirty years, and begat Salah: And Arphaxad lived after he begat Salah four hundred and three years, and begat sons and daughters. And Salah lived thirty years, and begat Eber: And Salah lived after he begat Eber four hundred and three years, and begat sons and daughters. And Eber lived four and thirty years, and begat Peleg: And Eber lived after he begat Peleg four hundred and thirty years, and begat sons and daughters. And Peleg lived thirty years, and begat Reu: And Peleg lived after he begat Reu two hundred and nine years, and begat sons and daughters. And Reu lived two and thirty years, and begat Serug: And Reu lived after he begat Serug two hundred and seven years, and begat sons and daughters. That is to say, in the future, your name and my name will be recorded in the Book of Life. Although we do not pursue our own names, God makes our names great, so that we may see God's glory in this generation. The Bible is too lazy to record the others, God's book is too lazy to record those people on the Tower of Babel. Climb, climb well, do not come down, do not look to the sides, keep climbing forward, and you will melt into the blue sky in the west. As for us, we climb the mountain of the Lord, enter the temple of the God of Jacob, and continuously know God, know the truth of God. This generation receives grace not because of your name and my name, but because of the name of Jesus Christ, Amen!

Genesis Chapter 11

11:1 And the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech.
11:2 And it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar; and they dwelt there.
11:3 And they said one to another, Go to, let us make brick, and burn them thoroughly. And they had brick for stone, and slime had they for morter.
11:4 And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven, and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth.
11:5 And the Lord came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded.
11:6 And the Lord said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.
11:7 Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another's speech.
11:8 So the Lord scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city.
11:9 Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the Lord did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the Lord scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth.
11:10 These are the generations of Shem: Shem was an hundred years old, and begat Arphaxad two years after the flood:

11:24 And Nahor lived nine and twenty years, and begat Terah:

11:26 And Terah lived seventy years, and begat Abram, Nahor, and Haran.
11:27 Now these are the generations of Terah: Terah begat Abram, Nahor, and Haran; and Haran begat Lot.
11:28 And Haran died before his father Terah in the land of his nativity, in Ur of the Chaldees.
11:29 And Abram and Nahor took them wives: the name of Abram's wife was Sarai; and the name of Nahor's wife, Milcah, the daughter of Haran, the father of Milcah, and the father of Iscah.
11:30 But Sarai was barren; she had no child.
11:31 And Terah took Abram his son, and Lot the son of Haran his son's son, and Sarai his daughter in law, his son Abram's wife; and they went forth with them from Ur of the Chaldees, to go into the land of Canaan; and they came unto Haran, and dwelt there.
11:32 And the days of Terah were two hundred and five years: and Terah died in Haran.
