Introduction

Hello everyone! Today let's look at Genesis Chapter 11. Genesis Chapter 11 seems to be about God feeling insecure, seeing people building these towers, and realizing that there would be nothing they couldn't achieve if they continued this way. God appears jealous and troubled, and follows along with these people. But that's not the whole story. The theme of Genesis Chapter 11 is actually about the "corrupt logic system of the world."

The most powerful thing in this world is its ability to make you forget one thing: forgetting about life and death. If it can make you forget about life and death, you will become completely ordinary. People study for exams, go to college, stay busy, pursue things, strive to become the richest, climb higher... They climb with all their might and then they die. When people forget about life and death, they crawl on this world, one after another.

Once, my mother was on the road to this Babel tower. After I cast out a ghost for her, she came back, but her spirit was captured. I asked her, "Where did you go?" She came back and told me that she had been captured. There was a person behind her holding a gun and forcing her to go up, circling around and around. I asked, "How high did you climb?" She said, "I climbed two-thirds of the way, the tower was so tall!" I said, "You've already climbed two-thirds, what happened next?" She said, "I was exhausted, but I kept climbing up." I asked, "And then?" She said, "Later, I could hear you all praying, and suddenly a person in a red robe told me, 'Go back!' Then there was a force 'bang,' and she came back.

This incident is very interesting. My mother told me that thing is called the "Babel tower." This incident leads to some associations. People all over the world are climbing up this "Babel tower," which is a very tightly structured logic system of the worldly world. When people forget about life and death, it becomes very interesting.

People are easily deceived by ghosts because they have a tightly structured logical system of the world in their minds. There was also a cancer patient who died in front of my camera. His eyes were wide open, he hadn't closed them yet, and I was still serving him until his death. That night, he felt weak all over, but I served him, and he was able to stand up and walk. After standing up, he started murmuring, "Eight hundred million, thirty million..." I asked, "What are you mumbling about?" He said, "Mumbling about money. Teacher, I feel a little better now, I can lie down and sleep." Six hours later, I called again, and his aunt answered. I asked her to check if he still had any breath.

Some people may think, "Teacher, people are already dead, how can you still talk like this?" I said, "I really don't care if a few more people die or fewer people die. Everyone should know that my heart is hard, whether you think I see through it or not, I do see through it. Even if I die myself, I don't really care." Then, I touched him and there was no pulse, no breath, he was dead! Six hours ago, he was still talking about money. I realized that people have a clear goal: to grasp things in this world.

Do you remember I once said that if a person can't achieve something, the problem basically lies in three aspects: unclear goals, unclear strategies, and incorrect methods. The logical system of the world is the same. If you want to achieve something in this world, you really need clear goals, clear strategies, and correct methods. Even if you have clear goals, clear strategies, and correct methods in this world, you still cannot prevent one thing: you will die, you will be completely trapped by this world. Are many people trapped by this world today? Maybe you are trapped for a little longer than six hours, maybe a little longer than those three days, many times longer, but the logic is still the same, still firmly trapped by the logic system of this world. "Make money, make money..."

Now the whole world had one language and a common speech. As people moved eastward, they found a plain in Shinar and settled there.
They said to each other, “Come, let’s make bricks and bake them thoroughly.” They used brick instead of stone, and tar for mortar. Then they said, “Come, let us build ourselves a city, with a tower that reaches to the heavens, so that we may make a name for ourselves; otherwise we will be scattered over the face of the whole earth.” (Genesis 11:1-4)

It can be said that this passage represents the complete logical system of the world.

The Logical System of the World

The goals are very clear, the strategies are very precise, and the methods are very appropriate. So why did God come and scatter them? Everyone should know: this thing corrupts people greatly. Because the goals are too clear, everyone becomes so busy that they forget about eternal life. If you look carefully at this world, we must say that Hitler was very destined, with clear goals, precise strategies, and appropriate methods, but he lacked one thing: forgetting about life and death. People must never forget. If you forget, you will establish worldly goals and as you climb, you will be tightly trapped by this world, which is extremely dangerous.

Hitler had very clear goals. After Germany became a defeated nation in World War I, he adopted a series of Babel tower strategies to save Germany. The goals were very clear: to build a city and a tower that reaches to the heavens, to make a name for themselves. What were they spreading? They were spreading the Germanic race, saying, "The Germanic race is the most outstanding race in the world," and they killed Jews to spread their name. Under Hitler's leadership, the Germanic race was united, and the whole of Germany was in a frenzied state. They had a strong leader, and you can see how Hitler's gestures drove people crazy. The goals were very clear, speaking the same language, all speaking German, running together towards one goal.

Now, listen carefully to the logic of this system: to do something, you need a great project, a project that has the ability to reach the heavens, it's called a tower that reaches to the heavens. I want to become the "richest person in the world," I'm almost reaching the heavens, and then I fall from the sky. "Reaching the heavens" is a lofty goal. Was Hitler selfish? He had lofty goals, "to spread our name, so that we are not scattered over the face of the whole earth," but as a result, he offended God. Why did he offend God? It's not that God is afraid of people offending Him, it's that God wants to save people from this world's logical system.

Our church has a characteristic: decades ago, there was a prophecy by a prophet from the United States. He wrote a book, saying that in the future, there would be a faceless and nameless church, where every person in the church would be like Jesus; every person in the church would be like the Apostle Paul. This American prophet passed away just two or three years ago. When he wrote this book, he was still young, and he didn't know that he was writing about us.

What we spread is that you won't hear people's names, we only spread the name of God. Now you know how the logical system of the world corrupts people. It's because they spread their own name. We spread the name of God. Why do we spread the name of God? Because we have studied Genesis Chapter 11 and know that we should not spread our own name. Some time ago, there was an interesting pastor. In his church, suddenly two women with "explosive" hairstyles came. If we've seen the video, we know what an "explosive" hairstyle is.

After these two "explosive" women came to the church, they became united with their pastor, who had poor education from a young age and didn't understand how tightly structured the logical system of this world is. These two "explosive" women told the pastor that they wanted to make him a "famous pastor" in the world. If someone tells me, "Pastor, I want to make you a famous pastor in the world," I would say, "Forget it! You can make your own head famous, I'm not falling for it."

Jesus is the only "wise person" in human society. He came to earth as a human and is our benchmark. We should imitate what He did. If He didn't do it, we shouldn't do it either. The Apostle Paul is my benchmark, and I should follow Paul's example. If I haven't done it properly and have fallen into the logical system of the Babel tower, that would be disastrous. To imitate Jesus and imitate Paul is the essence of the Doctrine of Destiny. Why should I trap myself?

I will never spread my own name. Some people want to know who these people are. Why do you want to know who they are? Now, there are no more pastors! Only the Doctrine of Destiny remains. I may die, but the Word of God will endure forever.

Worship of Heroes, Head of Heroes

The logical system of this world definitely worships heroes. Let's think about it, if this world didn't have Hitler, would Germany have suffered so much? The heroes of this world have brought a lot of corruption.

As people moved eastward, they found a plain in Shinar and settled there. (Genesis 11:2)

Let's carefully examine the previous chapter:

The sons of Ham: Cush, Egypt, Put and Canaan. The sons of Cush: Seba, Havilah, Sabtah, Raamah and Sabteka. The sons of Raamah: Sheba and Dedan. Cush was the father of Nimrod, who became a mighty warrior on the earth. He was a mighty hunter before the Lord; that is why it is said,“Like Nimrod, a mighty hunter before the Lord.” The first centers of his kingdom were Babylon, Uruk, Akkad and Kalneh, in Shinar. (Genesis 10:6-10)

Today among us, there was a sister who was in pain, extremely distressed. Her pastor couldn't console her, but we couldn't just ignore her. Eventually, her pastor came to find me. I said, "That's okay, let me talk to her and create a group chat." Her mother suddenly passed away today due to a cerebral hemorrhage. Oh, how difficult it is! I know how painful it is because I also felt the same when my mother passed away. I truly loved my mother, and I know she must have loved her mother as well, but she has passed away. My ministry is not based on serving those with money. Just because you have money doesn't mean I will serve you. Even if you have a lot of money, I won't serve you. I serve those among us, the "little ones."

And if anyone gives even a cup of cold water to one of these little ones who is my disciple, truly I tell you, that person will certainly not lose their reward.” (Matthew 10:42)

As a result, I consoled her and explained the matter of life and death, helping her understand it clearly. I also took the opportunity to pull her out from inside the Tower of Babel. I hope she won't return to climbing it again someday.

If a person can come out from the worship of heroes, then they are essentially coming down from the Tower of Babel.

So, you're saying, does this hero have visions? Yes. Does he have dreams? Yes. Does he have a reputation? Yes, he does. But all of this belongs to the logic system of the world. The corruption it will bring in the future is truly profound. Therefore, brothers and sisters, today we should begin to understand that human life is not long, only seventy or eighty years. Let's cherish it! What should we cherish? Because time is short, let's make the most of each day and be happy. Don't envy others who have bigger businesses because their joy is not greater than yours, and what they see is not clearer than what you see. So, let's move forward and cherish.

What should we cherish? We should cherish the grace that God has given us. We should cherish the fact that while we are alive, we have God's provision. We live in God's blessings and grace throughout our lives. When you hear these words, you may think, "Oh, the teacher is deceiving me again!" No, I'm not deceiving you. This is the right path! This path allows us to live happily. This path makes life easier. This path no longer traps us inside. This path allows us to live freely because we have received God's grace, and it is for the purpose of granting us freedom. If you haven't tasted the flavor of freedom, you won't understand. If you don't understand, I won't tell you. Living a life of freedom is truly wonderful!

The Corruption of the World's Logical System

Then they said, “Come, let us build ourselves a city, with a tower that reaches to the heavens, so that we may make a name for ourselves; otherwise we will be scattered over the face of the whole earth.” (Genesis 11:4)

If you knew the corruption brought by the logic system of the world, you wouldn't choose this path, and you wouldn't worship these heroes, would you? Today, let's list all the most powerful heroes in the world. I ask you, did Emperor Qin Shi Huang live a good life? No, he didn't! It was very difficult, but he was considered the greatest hero in the world! Was it good to be famous? No, it wasn't! People fear fame just as pigs fear getting fat! Fame is not good, do you understand? Unless you're a pig, you won't fear fame or getting fat. Even if pigs get fat! This describes how people are like pigs. The corruption brought by the logic system of this world has far-reaching consequences, leading to a life filled with suffering.

This logic system of the world can deprive a person of their lifelong happiness. You will never surpass the person above you, and when you reach the top, you're nearing your end. It's not just a matter of fearing fame, it's like pigs fearing getting fat. When you reach the top, you become a pig waiting to be slaughtered, and the killing of pigs begins. Therefore, brothers and sisters, today let us not climb with the logic system of the world but climb within the logic system of God. That's why the Doctrine of Destiny is not about climbing the Tower of Babel; the Doctrine of Destiny is about climbing the mountain of Jehovah and entering the temple of the God of Jacob.

They said to each other, “Come, let’s make bricks and bake them thoroughly.” They used brick instead of stone, and tar for mortar. (Isaiah 2:3)

Climbing the mountain of the LORD, entering the temple of the God of Jacob, brings unparalleled joy in life. When you climb the spiritual truth and progressively know more of the truth, you will become increasingly victorious. Nothing can deprive you of the grace that comes from God within you. So don't just talk about how China's richest people don't have good outcomes, it's the same all over the world. It's the result of the logic system of the world. Don't only talk about China, it's the same everywhere.

I am grateful to God. I really want to advertise a job for God: Being a priest of the LORD is incomparably good. It's fantastic! You will never lack anything in your life. It's the happiest profession in the world, the most wonderful profession. It's just great! Today, brothers and sisters, long to be priests of the LORD, which is extremely good! God has prepared things for those who love Him that eyes have not seen, ears have not heard, and minds have not conceived. The question is, do people love God more or not?

However, as it is written: “What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived” — the things God has prepared for those who love him. (1 Corinthians 2:9)

Many people get tired of climbing the Tower of Babel and come to me saying, "Teacher, pray for me." I say, "Why pray? It's better for you to stop climbing that Tower of Babel and come with me to climb the mountain of the LORD." It's not a matter that can be solved by prayer; it's a matter of your thoughts and mindset. Now you understand, right? Many years ago, someone introduced a "famous pastor" to me, a pastor who was well-known, the senior pastor of a large church. He had a brain tumor, and I, a person with no reputation and didn't want to have a reputation either, decided to serve him.

Why did I serve him? Because his good friend started a church, and I visited there and healed someone who was electrocuted all over their body, and I also healed someone who was partially paralyzed. He said, "Wow, Pastor Liu is amazing. You must serve him. He's my good friend and he has a brain tumor." I said, "I will serve him." I said, "As a senior pastor, please explain why you got a brain tumor." He told me, "Pastor Liu, I can only rest for one day a week as a pastor." In my mind, I was thinking that you need more rest than that? If one day of rest is not enough, I haven't rested a single day from my twenties until today. I don't even have a chance to rest.

I said, "Okay, rest for one day." Then he said, "There are too many things to handle in the church. I oversee thirty to fifty small groups, a total of thirty to fifty group leaders. These group leaders change every three years. I asked why, and he said, 'Group leaders have to come to the church once a week for leadership training, and they have to lead the group for one day. They also have to come to church on Sundays. So they can't last long, they get burned out! Once they get burned out, I have to replace them with new ones. So I'm exhausted!" I thought to myself, "Even regular members of our church spend more time than your group leaders and they're not burned out." I couldn't understand his logic. Then he said, "So, Pastor Liu, can I avoid getting a brain tumor?"

That's the thing, he was exhausted. Later, I thought, why wasn't I exhausted? It's because I enjoy it. When I say I enjoy it, there's a huge difference. I love God, I enjoy serving Him. If a person doesn't love God, they will enjoy traveling but suffer while serving God. If God doesn't give you a tumor, what will He give you?

That's the thing, he was exhausted. Later, I thought, why wasn't I exhausted? It's because I enjoy it. When I say I enjoy it, there's a huge difference. I love God, I enjoy serving Him. If a person doesn't love God, they will enjoy traveling but suffer while serving God. If God doesn't give you a tumor, what will He give you?

There are some pastors who see that I'm doing well while they are not doing well. They become "burned out" pastors and "tumor" pastors, but they are not the same as me. What I mean is that the logic system of this world is extremely corrupt. Originally, someone with the surname Chen became a "tumor" pastor, and Pastor Li also became a "tumor" pastor. All the pastors have become "tumor" pastors. It's really corrupt.

So， never again promote your own name, never again build towers reaching to the heavens. Never build big churches, never gather people together, but let them be scattered over the whole earth, and that will be extremely good. God's heart can be satisfied through us, and we will be recorded in God's book. The descendants of others in the Bible are not worth mentioning. The book of God doesn't bother to record those people on the Tower of Babel: keep climbing, climb well, don't come down, don't look to the sides, just keep climbing forward, and you will melt into the blue sky of the West. As for us, we climb the mountain of the LORD, enter the temple of the God of Jacob. Continuously knowing God and knowing the truth of God, this generation doesn't achieve things through your name or my name, but through the name of Jesus Christ, and they receive grace. Amen!
