Understanding the Devil's Tricks

In the previous three sections: the first part, we talked about Cain and Lamech; the second part, about Joseph; and the third part, about David.

Actually, there is a very interesting phenomenon when talking about Joseph and David: He should have been hurt, but he was not. This is a kind of smarts. If there were people around Joseph and David saying, David, how can Saul treat you like this? If David followed this line of thought, he would be finished. Should David really have endured this unfair treatment? No, he should not!

But what was the reality? He endured unfair treatment. Did Saul really have a reason to treat David like this? He was Saul's son-in-law, a general, David had outstanding military achievements, had driven away evil spirits for Saul, and had completely defeated Goliath. David had no faults in his entire work.

David had no faults, just because David's merits were too high. The people said, Saul has slain his thousands, and David his ten thousands. (See 1 Samuel 18:7) Saul was jealous of David for this reason alone. David had no fault and was wronged. So was Joseph, he did nothing to offend his brothers, but was sold into slavery. Today, brothers and sisters, let's weigh this a little. Some people, if they are hurt in the church because of me, cannot serve anyone, and I cannot serve either, because he was hurt because of me. The things he cares about, compared to the grace God distributes to them through me, are simply a drop in the bucket. But they just can't get over this hurdle, and all they think about is that little thing.

In comparison, we begin to understand how the devil's tricks actually work. In fact, what David and Joseph endured could not change God's plan for them at all. The problem is that we stand at too low a level. We look at too small a target, and our vision is too shallow.

Such a view, when it comes to us, will make us think, If he treats me like this, won't my life be ruined? As a result, we fall for the devil's trick. Cain and Lamech lived in a state of mental illness, feeling that the whole world was against them, that the whole world wanted to kill them, and the whole thing became confusing.

There was a man in ancient China named Cao Cao whose suspicious nature was vividly portrayed in the Romance of the Three Kingdoms. He would kill anyone he suspected. Whether a person lives well or not is closely related to his view of the whole thing. No matter what, when reading the Bible, one must understand the devil's tricks. If you hear certain words and feel troubled and uncomfortable all day long, you have basically entered the edge of the devil's tricks.

Before, I found it very difficult to understand why people would behave like this. It was not until I read Rick Joyner's The Final Quest that it suddenly awakened me in a very difficult stage. I have never taken advantage of anyone, nor have I taken anything from anyone, nor have I harmed anyone, but why do so many people treat me like this? I don't know, it is very difficult to understand. Until I read Rick Joyner's The Final Quest.

At that time, my state was very difficult, because I fell into a logical system, that is, I did not do anything to offend them, but why did they treat me like this, and the whole person fell to the edge of collapse. Then the Spirit of God revealed to me to read Rick Joyner's book. If it is reading the Bible, we are very clear about this thing of discerning good and evil, but if we want to understand the devil's tricks, we still have to start from discerning good and evil.

The Difference Between the Devil's Logical System and God's Logical System

When you fall for the devil's trick, hating this and hating that, and start to get hurt inside, what do you think you will gain? In fact, you gain nothing! What you gain is only harm, pain, and the oppression of the devil. The devil's trick is to hurt people. After people are hurt, bitterness and unforgiveness begin to arise in them, and the devil rides on this person's neck. When the devil rides on this person's neck, the devil's thoughts and this person's thoughts almost enter into a state of unity, and then this person lives in great pain.

If our thoughts often feel that life is hard, and we feel that the whole world is against us, when we encounter this situation, we must know one thing, that is, we have fallen into the devil's trap. In the process of believing in Jesus, people should be peaceful and joyful, even if they have been treated unfairly, they must firmly believe that this cannot change God's will for you.

But if you fall for the devil's trick, and the devil continues to ride and beat you, you can hardly know whether the brothers and sisters are telling you the truth, and you hear different things. When the brothers and sisters tell you the testimony, you also hear different things. This person has reached an unimaginable point, and the logical system in his mind is very difficult to reverse.

In this case, Rick Joyner describes the devil as already riding on his head. If he wants to get rid of the devil, there will be more devils riding on his head. In fact, Rick Joyner also gives us an answer, as long as we do not agree with the devil's tricks in our hearts, we can easily get rid of the devil's control.

The problem is that our thoughts and the devil's thoughts are almost completely in a state of unity. What we think, what the devil thinks, is simply a very strict logical system. This set of logical system is called the human logical system.

Everyone should know how the devil's tricks work. The devil's tricks work according to your will. If your will is not God's will, and you have a human logical system inside, it is very reasonable. How can you distinguish this kind of thing? Only by relying on God's word!

If God's word is revealed in this way, then we will do according to God's word, and not according to our own logical system. Our own logical system is quite corrupt.

Today, in the generation we are in, mental illnesses are a mess. Why are there so many mental illnesses? The source of mental illness is the devil's trick. The reason why people are in pain is because they obey their own thoughts. If we have many diseases on our bodies, we can basically be sure of one thing, that they all come from our thoughts. If our thoughts are filled with some logical systems that are not in accordance with God's will, we will live in pain.

In God's logical system, nothing can change God's good will for us. We also know that God is still in control of us, and we also know that God can still control the universe, and we also know that God can control the thoughts of our boss and customers. As long as I please God in this world, all problems will be solved. This is the logical system of God.

The human logical system and the demonic logical system are different, and the whole problem will become extremely complicated. I have no money, I have to work, and if I work, I have to have time. If I serve like this, where will I have time to work? Will you help me solve the problem of my work? If you observe people's logical system carefully, it is quite in accordance with the truth.

The Army of Hell Described in The Final Quest

In the first part of Rick Joyner's The Final Quest, called The Army of Hell is Advancing, he said that he saw an evil army stretching out of sight, divided into several legions. The foremost legions were called pride, self-righteousness, love of face, selfish ambition, unrighteous judgment, and jealousy.

Let's think carefully, you may have these on you, such as love of face. Love of face is a legion of the devil, and that thing is very powerful. If a person loves face, he will solve things himself, fearing that he will lose face if he knows. Many of us are this kind of face-loving. For example, if I want to be a full-time co-worker in the future, I have to perform well in the workplace and not let others know my weakness. We will become face-loving and self-righteous. These are the devil's army.

In this army, the vanguard is the most powerful. The leader of this army is the devil, the accuser of the brethren. The weapons carried by this army all have names. The name of the sword is intimidation, the name of the spear is betrayal, the arrows are called accusations, and gossip is slander and pickiness. There are also some scouts and small troops named rejection, bitterness, impatience, unforgiveness, and lust that are sent to the front of the army.

Today, let's look at the church. You think that gossip is an inconspicuous thing. Today, I want to tell you that it is a very powerful army. In the early days of the church's establishment, I found myself to be the ingredient in their hot pot. After the church meeting, three or five people gathered together to eat hot pot, and then they talked gossip there. What gossip did they talk about? Look how and so on. I became the ingredient in their hot pot. What was the result? Many people were corrupted and stumbled.

We found that these things are very powerful things. In the process of building the church, the first battle we fought was gossip. If we don't speak God's word, we speak people's words. Speaking people's words is basically gossip. We talk about the east family and the west family, and we criticize there. We corrupt people with a few words, and slander and pickiness. Many times we can't see the big things.

What we see are small faults. These small evil spirit troops will flood into the church and create various interpersonal corruptions in the church, between members and, between couples, between parents and children, and even between children. Evil spirit scouts are sent out to find the loopholes in the church, family, or individual, so that rejection, bitterness, lust, etc. can enter, and further expand these loopholes, and then let the subsequent troops can flood into these loopholes and completely control the victims.

This is very powerful, completely controlling the victims. What is shocking is that this army is not riding horses, but riding on the backs of Christians! And these Christians are almost all well-dressed, looking very noble and respectable on the outside, and they are all highly educated, but they seem to be representatives of all levels of life.

These people acknowledge the truth of Christ in order to appease their conscience, but their lives identify with the powers of darkness. When they obey those powers, the evil spirits assigned to control them grow larger and can more easily control their actions.

Today, brothers and sisters, you have to understand one thing, the devil is fighting on the backs of Christians. Obviously, there is one in charge of controlling. The nature of the evil spirit that controls the power determines the nature of the legion it commands. For example, the evil spirit of hatred hates Christians, but also hates other evil spirits, and the evil spirit of jealousy is also jealous of each other.

So this is a generation in which evil spirits are rampant. When these Christians try to get rid of these controls, more evil spirits will control this person. Then there will be bitterness, accusation, and distortion of the words of the Bible in their hearts, and they will use various methods to rationalize their bitterness.

Testimony of Service

In the service experience of the past few years, these are all what I have personally experienced. How shocked was I? The power of falsehood manifested by evil spirits in Christians is so great. In fact, the power of evil spirits is not an actual power at all, but a power of falsehood.

As long as you agree with the deception of the evil spirits, you will immediately fall into that kind of false control. But it is also easy to get rid of these. Because these evil spirits are basically a falsehood. Start thinking carefully, how many of the devil's tricks have you fallen for.

Last night, when I was serving a sister, she mentioned to me that another sister often called her and talked gossip. The beginning of the gossip was some high-sounding beginning. Look how much destiny and mission there is, in fact, everyone is like this.

This is the beginning of preparing to release evil spirits. Brothers and sisters, don't think that everything you say is right. Then start releasing poison. This one doesn't agree, and that one doesn't agree. Talk about some actual examples. Many of these examples are distorted facts. I call it distorted facts. She only told half of the facts. Is it a fact? It is a fact. But she only told half of this fact, so she confused many people.

If you let this kind of thing start to come in, and you like to listen to gossip, then you will have to work hard for a while. These legions of the devil are almost all Christians who have infiltrated the church. Although these Christians know the truth of Jesus Christ, they agree with the lies of the devil even more. They are deceived because they obey the accuser who accuses the brethren. The size of the power of these armies depends entirely on how clearly these Christians know the evil forces.

Christians Captured by Evil Spirits

In fact, evil spirits have captured a large number of Christians, and after Christians are captured, they basically attack Christians. Brothers and sisters, start to understand one thing, there is a kind of thing called fear. This spirit of fear guards many captured Christians. In fact, these prisoners still have their arrows and shields. As long as they easily resist, they can deal with the devil, but they are still afraid inside.

The sky above the prisoners is shrouded in a flock of vultures called depression. These vultures will land on the shoulders of these prisoners and vomit. The filth that is vomited is called condemnation. When the filth falls on the prisoners, the prisoners will stand up, walk straight ahead for a while, and then suddenly fall down, becoming weaker than before.

In the vision, Rick Joyner felt strange, why didn't these prisoners simply kill these vultures with arrows? Later, he realized that those Christians thought that what those vultures released was the anointing of the Holy Spirit, which is very strange.

Brothers and sisters, take a close look. Once Christians eat the lies of the devil, they will provide them with a lot of bitterness. The bitterness in people begins with injury. If they continue to fall for the devil's tricks after being injured, they will brew bitterness inside and more and more. Later, I observed that many people who get cancer start from bitterness. Bitterness in people is a very evil thing. Then Christians rationalize these bitterness.

This is not the Word of God at all. When we rationalise these bitternesses, we can hardly escape the dominion of the devil. When you try to break free from the devil's control, more evil spirits of the same kind will jump on you and control you.

Throughout the ages, since the history of the Christian church, or since there has been a church, the devil has been using Christians to attack each other. It is the same trick. Why is this so? It is because people have walked the path of knowing good and evil. They become picky. The problems they talk about are facts, but not the truth of the Bible.

You must know that according to the facts, Joseph could not have been sold into slavery. According to the facts, Joseph should have been wounded. According to the facts, David should have been wounded. But they refused to be wounded, and they lived out God's glory, purpose and plan.

In the entire Hell's Army is Advancing, a large section describes all kinds of churches. So in his vision, he saw that many churches did not have God's spiritual armour. There was no way to fight, and there was a joyous atmosphere of playing games, singing, feasting, and strolling among the tents. However, the attack of evil spirits began immediately.

When we see this situation, you can see that these Christians are completely unaware that the dark power of the devil has arrived. They are still happily feasting, thinking it is the grace of God. As a result, the arrows are shot over, many Christians are wounded, and they are carried by vultures into prisoner camps. This is being captured.

Dealing with the Devil's Schemes: Start by Not Getting Hurt

Today, we must see through the devil's schemes no matter what. Either we live a small life, indulging in numbness, or we are picky and get hurt. In fact, these are all very powerful schemes of the devil. How do we deal with this kind of scheme? We must start by not getting hurt. Today, we must see through the devil's schemes no matter what.

How do we deal with this kind of scheme? We must start by not getting hurt. If you have a feeling of being hurt inside, you must wake up from this place. If you don't wake up from this place, you will easily enter the next stage called bitterness. When you start brewing bitterness, the devil begins to use the power of lies to hurt you. Brewing bitterness and receiving these become reasonable.

If they all become reasonable, and the devil's power of lies allows you to continue moving forward, you become a prisoner of the devil. Then the devil will jump on you, and you will become a tool used by the devil. While the devil is using you, he also releases a lie, making you think you are serving God.

In the past few years, I have discovered some interesting phenomena. Those who are ridden and used by the devil, all they say are words of serving God. They all think they are serving God. What is even more surprising is that they have no way to discern this lie at all.

When you tell them the truth, they immediately get hurt. There is no way to tell them the truth. If you cannot tell them the truth, then how can you solve the problem? You must use faith, hope, and love. So recently, I have started using faith, hope, and love as tools to strike the devil and the enemy.

Brothers and sisters, never reason with them when a relationship breaks down. You can't reason with them. If there is strife in the family, you can't reason at all. Keeping quiet may be better than reasoning, because when you reason, they hear something completely different. These are very surprising, almost to the point of being impossible to communicate. Only conveying faith, hope, and love may be more effective.

How to deal with these problems?

First, refuse to be hurt. David and Joseph have set a good example for us. Cain and Lamech have set a negative example.

Second, refuse bitterness. Do not brew bitterness. Many people get cancer, which is closely related to bitterness. If a person has bitterness, that is the seed of cancer.

Third, start refusing to forgive. Someone will definitely offend us. So what! I just refuse to forgive.

Fourth, start learning to recognise the devil's schemes. If we are living very hard, we must recognise the devil's schemes. The root cause of some brothers and sisters' illnesses is very easy to deal with. It is in their thoughts and intentions. If we do not deal with our thoughts and intentions, the disease will come and go, never ending.

Brothers and sisters, we must recognise one thing: our thoughts and intentions will be expressed through our illnesses. I myself am no exception. When you see me sick, you must know one thing: there is weakness in my thoughts and intentions.

Illness is a result of sin. Everyone need not argue. There are very few Jobs in this world. What is there a lot of? Things that are not like Job. Never think that you are Job. Personally, I think that confessing sins and repenting is the way. I have tried it myself, because I am very clear about my own weaknesses.

Fifth, refuse foolishness. Everyone must not think that it is clever. Knowing good and evil is a very foolish state. Refuse foolishness no matter what. Thinking about some things and getting sick all over, why suffer this crime! You also have to spend money to see a doctor and start tossing around.

Everyone must know that a person who trusts in God should be healthy. If we are healthy people, we will recognise the devil's schemes. We will recognise the devil's schemes, then abandon them and deal with them. You should be a healthy person. If your spirit is healthy, your heart will be healthy. If your spirit is not healthy, your body will also be unhealthy.

Recognise the Essence of Living!

The devil's most powerful trick is to make you grasp a small thing, and then your entire mind is drilled into it. What to do? Restore Mingding Destiny! A person with Mingding Destiny must be a person who pays the price for Mingding Destiny. If we are unwilling to pay the price for our Mingding Destiny, we have not recognised the essence of life.

A person who has not recognised the essence of life should not live well. His eyes are all on these worldly things. How can he not be tired? Restore Mingding Destiny! Recognise the essence of life, start escaping from the battlefield of knowing good and evil, turn around and start running desperately, climbing the mountain of Jehovah, and entering the temple of the God of Jacob.

This sentence appears repeatedly in the Bible. Later, I truly understood what it means to climb the mountain of Jehovah. The mountain of Jehovah is God's holy mountain. God's holy mountain is based on faith. Everything that does not come from faith is sin.

In October 2015, I read Rick Joyner's book, and I began to lead the brothers and sisters of the church to climb the mountain of Jehovah and enter the temple of the God of Jacob. When we started climbing the mountain of Jehovah and entering the temple of the God of Jacob, the power that God manifested in us was so great. Now, when we pray for new brothers and sisters, killing the devil is easy.

Climb the Mountain of Jehovah, Enter the Temple of the God of Jacob

A few days ago, one of my classmates had a very strong feeling of hunger at night. When the feeling of hunger entered her, she felt like her whole person was about to collapse. She felt bloated after eating, but hungry if she didn't eat. Her body was extremely weak, and she didn't even have the strength to lift a strand of hair. I went to the hospital to pray for her. After praying for a short while, she was able to walk on the ground. Her husband was very surprised when he saw it. I used to be very surprised myself, but now I think that when you climb the mountain of Jehovah, you constantly climb spiritual peaks, and your ability to strike the devil becomes stronger and stronger.

How does Rick Joyner describe it in his book? When you continue to climb to the point of brotherly unity, the devil's sword will not be able to shoot you. If you are hit by the devil's sword, it will definitely be very hard. Today, we must enter into brotherly unity no matter what. Brotherly unity is a character within you. It is a state of faith in God within us.

When you reach this state, it is very beautiful, because the devil's sword can no longer shoot you. Climb up further, to the level of Galatians 2:20: I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. (Galatians 2:20)

You can shoot the sword very accurately and release many who are imprisoned and captured.

Today, brothers and sisters, we must begin to climb the spiritual mountain. If we use our strength to climb the mountain of Jehovah and enter the temple of the God of Jacob, where do we have time to be hurt? Where do we have time to be bitter? Where do we have time to be unforgiving?

When you stand on a high spiritual level and recognise the essence of people, and begin to climb the mountain of Jehovah and enter the temple of the God of Jacob, you are no longer a person of this life. You are entering into eternal life. Your purpose of living, your state of life, your ability to fight, your ability to heal and deliver, your ability to strike the devil, and your ability to live abundantly have been completely manifested in you.

Do Not Stay at a Very Low Level

Rick Joyner describes climbing to what place? Climbing to the Garden of Jehovah, entering God's temple, where there are fruits from the tree of life. When you get to that place, you can command a group of white eagles to strike the devil, which is even more powerful. We must not stay at a very low level, living in a very low state. You cannot live well.

I call this state small-peasant consciousness. You just want to live in your own small plot of land, but you don't live well. I rarely see people with small-peasant consciousness living well. For people with small-peasant consciousness, trivial matters are big matters. But if we climb the mountain of Jehovah and enter the temple of the God of Jacob, even big things are trivial matters.

If you have sufficient ability when striking the devil, how can you be beaten by the devil? Constant quarrelling at home means that you have fallen into the devil's trap. The points of contention are all trivial points, which really don't mean much.

The purpose of telling you these things is to tell you to learn to be a healthy person. You must know that being hurt, bitterness, unforgiveness, and some seasonings, gossip, lust, and all kinds of small troops are very powerful. The devil's power all comes from a lie.

If you come out of this state, you can be completely healed very quickly. As long as people abandon the devil's lies, that power of lies cannot do anything to us. Start coming out of this power of lies and be a healthy person, so that you can serve in the future.

Learn Inner Victory, Live a Healthy State

In a state of inner victory, you will definitely live abundantly and live healthily. Today, I challenge you. There are two paths before us. One path is the path of the world. The path of the world leads to illness when you are old, and you need people to take care of you and a lot of trouble. Why? Because you accumulate a whole lot of hurt, bitterness, and unforgiveness, and later you may even get cancer or various malignant diseases. Then we live in pain all our lives.

Today, if we take another path, refuse to be hurt, refuse to be bitter, refuse to be unforgiving, even if those are facts, we do not accept being hurt or bitter. What we want to put before us is the mountain of Jehovah, the temple of the God of Jacob, where we can eat the fruit of the tree of life, which can make our whole state very abundant.

When we serve, we can release the captives. If we are not healthy ourselves, how can we serve? When talking to people, start to understand whether they are walking the path of man or the path of God. The path of man certainly conforms to the logic of man and the logic of the devil, but it does not conform to the logic of God.

Our life is the result of our own choices. If we have these diseases, confusion, and discomfort, how should we walk the road ahead? You must deal with them and enter the healthy state that God speaks of. Jealousy, stinginess, pickiness, bitterness, unforgiveness, hurt, blind feasting, living a small life—all these things will ruin your life.

Today, I am saying these things not for my sake, nor for God's sake, but for your sake. Start being a healthy person. I thank God because I have never liked knowing good and evil since I was a child. You ask me why I don't like knowing good and evil. I don't know. Maybe I was born this way, I don't know. But I know that a person who does not know good and evil, does not get hurt, and is not bitter lives well.

If you are unwilling to walk the path of living well and insist on walking the path of not living well, isn't that foolishness? Today, even for the sake of your future, you must walk the path of climbing the mountain of Jehovah and constantly raise your spiritual height. In the process of rising, actively serve, actively fight, strike the devil and the enemy, and see through the devil's schemes. The road before you is very abundant.

I think you don't need to do a lot of in-depth scientific research. The things that happen around us are enough for you to deal with. Why do many corrupt officials become corrupt? Because they have not seen the essence of life clearly, and as a result, they put themselves in a very miserable situation. Political struggles are very cruel, almost to the point of you die or I live. The wars in the business world are also very cruel, also to the point of you die or I live. In fact, all of this is the result of the devil's manipulation.

People live in the devil's lies and enter this state. But if you and I believe in Jesus Christ, receive the Word of God, and receive the Holy Spirit that He has given us, and we still cannot see through the devil's schemes, isn't that a tragedy?

Today, I encourage you to come out of being hurt. No matter who hurt you, no matter who did something unreasonable to you, put it down and throw it away! Keeping that thing has no value except to corrupt our lives. Start completely abandoning these things, and be a healthy person no matter what. Start running this heavenly road and strive to enter into complete maturity.

When we strive to enter into complete maturity, you will see the vast world clearly, and you will also see the devil's schemes clearly. You will be very powerful in striking the devil, and you will also be very powerful in releasing captive souls. Thank God for the opportunity today to share with brothers and sisters about being a healthy person. I think that I myself must also learn to be a healthy person and come out of being hurt.
