1. Topic: All that God has promised is faithful!
The Bible emphasizes God's promises repeatedly. Abraham's son was called Isaac, the son of promise, born according to God's promise. People live in distress, unsure of where the answers lie, but they are in God's promises. They do not know that if they believe they will receive, they will surely receive all that God has promised. God never promised you would become rich. Healing is what God has promised, and so is freedom and peace. Pray for what God has promised.
God's promises are numerous; what if they all happened to us? God did not say He would bring us to the promised land all at once. This process requires cooperation between man and God, with man's faith and God's power progressing step by step. Our church building has also been step by step, what we believe is the promise of God. When Israel left Egypt, God did not immediately bring them to the promised land. God was constantly building their faith, helping them solve problems. But how could they still not believe after experiencing ten miracles? How could they still complain? Facing the Red Sea, how could they not know that God's promises are faithful? As a result, they complained. God's promises never fail. It is our unbelief that causes them to fail. We must repent from unbelief. The Israelites who died in the wilderness did so because of unbelief.
2. Scripture
For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ. And so through him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God. (2 Corinthians 1:20)
3. Prayer
Lord! Let our hearts know how faithful Your promises are. Lord, we pray and call upon You, open our eyes and let us see and know that Your promises are true and faithful. By Your wounds, we are healed. Lord, You bore all our sorrows and curses. Lord, heaven and earth will pass away, but Your promises will endure! Amen!
4. Background of the Scripture
The Corinthian church was confused about God's promises. The Corinthians experienced many miraculous things, and they began to relativize God's promises, relying on human logic to make them relative and virtual.
If God's promises cannot be fulfilled, it cannot be said that God is not faithful, it is because of your unbelief. Many people relativize God's promises. By Jesus' wounds, we are healed, this is what is said in the Bible, but many Christians who see no healing say that it is not really the case, it is this and that... They also find many examples of those who are not healed, as if sickness is a blessing, but actually not all are healed, the Bible never says that.
Do not be confused, you must know that people being healed of diseases is God's promise. In the Corinthian church, many people were sick and died, which raises questions. Paul explained that it was because of sin. It is not because God's promises are not faithful, the question is whether people fear God and believe in God's promises. If people often sin, it is difficult to be healed. People often sin because they disobey God's word, so what is there to say if they get sick? This also cannot prove that God's promises are not faithful. We must absolutely believe that God's promises are not ambiguous. Paul kept God's word carefully and fulfilled many of God's promises. Today, people cannot fulfill God's promises because they do not implement them according to God's word.
Paul's words are indeed extreme and absolute. But if we treat God's promises as relative and virtual, it is a very serious problem. Preaching the wrong gospel has serious consequences. Why does God often manifest His omnipotence among us today? Because we believe that God's promises are absolute, not ambiguous. If we keep God's word carefully, we will surely receive the promises.
Never believe those who say, I did not keep God's word carefully and I'm doing fine. You just don't know it when things are not going well. The Israelites entered the promised land after passing through the wilderness. Although there was a wilderness, God's promises remained faithful.
Fifth point: Can we adhere to what Paul said, We will do as the Bible says?
Heaven and earth will pass away, but God's word will never change. Nothing can be added to or subtracted from the Bible, otherwise it will be cursed. This gospel cannot be abridged. Some people often criticize me for being too absolute. How can you believe if the words are not absolute? Do not be like the Corinthians, do not replace God's word with phenomena. Some people say that there are no miracles in this era. Jesus is Jesus, and we do not have the power of Jesus. We must practice according to God's word. If we cannot do it, we must reflect and return to the Bible.
Once, I found that the church was nothing like what was recorded in the Bible. So I began to reflect. What Paul could do, we should also be able to do. If we cannot do it, it is our problem, not the Bible's problem. There is no problem in imitating Paul and imitating Jesus. Today, many pastors do not believe in God's promises. They have relativized God's word. Many people say that the times are different now, and there are hospitals now. You must know, we must imitate Paul, but not beyond what is written in the Bible. We must return to the Bible and not speculate.
He has made us competent as ministers of a new covenant—not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life. (2 Corinthians 3:6)
Speculation is a very dangerous thing. We do what the Bible says. If Paul could do it, so can we. We must imitate Paul and imitate Jesus. We must start believing in Jesus' words. Some diseases cannot be cured by hospitals, but God can. Now God can also heal, it's not a matter of the era.
Why are people confused? It is because they relativize God's promises. Speculation is a very dangerous thing. If there is speculation in us, we must change. If there is speculation in us, it is very bad. How much of God's promises do we really believe? We must now begin to truly believe in God.
What is sin? Sin is out of unbelief, their unbelief in God. Healing is God's promise, so we must begin to believe. By Jesus' wounds, we are healed. We must begin to thank God for choosing us, and not speculate. As long as we have faith, God will surely heal us. God is the God who heals us, and nothing is impossible for God. The demons that the entire church is casting out are getting bigger and bigger, relying on God's promises.
We absolutely do not believe that sickness is a blessing from God. God is the God who blesses us and heals us. We must begin to have faith in God. Start being strong and courageous, and start having complete faith in God. Absolutely do not deny God's promises, and absolutely do not doubt God's words. If we build according to God's word, it is a church that pleases God. Keeping God's word carefully and not keeping God's word carefully. All the problems lie in keeping God's word carefully and not keeping God's word carefully. Learn from David and Moses, they did not doubt God's words. They listened to whatever God said to them. Now we must follow God's word. We must know for sure that only by building according to God's word can we build a glorious church.
The Bible never says that it is God's will to see a doctor when you are sick. All the problems lie in one thing: carefully keeping God's word or not carefully keeping God's word. Keeping God's word carefully brings blessings, and not keeping God's word carefully brings curses. To build a holy and glorious church, we must build according to God's word. In the first three years, I built the church very hard because I did not build according to God's word.
David built God's temple according to the drawing God gave him with His own hand. Moses built the tabernacle according to God's instructions. What they built was very glorious. If people keep people's words, they will be blessed; if people do not keep God's words, they will be cursed.
These past two days, I have been serving my mother with Sister YX. These past two days, she has had difficulty breathing and could not catch her breath. While serving her, someone knocked on the door and asked her to play mahjong. It is not to say that playing mahjong is a sin, but it is doing things according to one's own preferences, which does not please God and is not following God's word. Going according to what is pleasing in one's heart makes one a child of wrath. We need to act according to God's word.
Disease is also something God has promised, but if people turn back, healing is God's promise.
9. The Lord's Promises are Yes and Amen
Life is not easy, and birth, aging, sickness, and death are common for both Christians and non-Christians. The promises of the Lord Jesus are real. Why? Because He wants to solve the problems of birth, aging, sickness, and death. The fruit of your womb shall be blessed; this is the issue of birth. Some experience severe morning sickness and are at risk of miscarriage. But after prayer, these symptoms disappear. This is how God resolves the issue of birth.
Our God is a real God. Your kneading bowl shall be blessed; you shall be blessed when you go out and when you come in. God is watching over everything. People don't know what to do when they get old and find it difficult to manage. These problems can be solved. It need not be a burden on children or society. If you fear God properly, these will not be problems.
Birth and aging are part of life, and so is sickness. Sickness is not a blessing, but a discipline and a clear indication of disobeying God's will.
We must rise up and take on the mission of this era. If we cannot experience God's promises in this life, can we obtain them after death? To glorify God through us means that we can experience God while we are alive.
10. God's Word is Established in Heaven
Some people have no problem with words of peace and joy, but when it comes to casting out demons, they doubt whether this is what God wants to do. If we believe, then we believe in a complete gospel. Absolute belief is true belief. A half-hearted belief is not belief. To relativize God's word is to be half-hearted. God's word is absolute, and absolute belief is true belief. We live by every word that comes from the mouth of God, not just some words.
11. Conclusion
There was a blind man, and the disciples asked whether it was his sin or the sin of his father and his family that caused his blindness. Many people think that this blind man was not healed, only understanding the first half of the story. In fact, this blind man was healed and glorified.
Today, brothers and sisters continue to persist in erroneous logic systems, and if you cannot correct them and are lagging behind, I do not care how much you contribute. Every time I preach, I will prick you, so that you know that God's word is to be carefully observed and followed, so that God may be glorified through us. If God's word cannot prick you, what else can? In any case, we must do what Jesus Christ did, so that Jesus Christ may be glorified through us.
