Introduction

The perplexity of Christians is not a recent phenomenon; it existed as far back as Micah's time. In those days, the Israelites were astonished by curses, feeling that their lives were going quite well. The superficial issue was the value of loving the world. Those who love the world inevitably regard worldly matters as valuable. Hence, today's theme is Woe to Those Who Love the World. The value system one harbours is particularly critical; whatever one loves is deemed valuable.

What One Loves, One Deems Valuable

What you love does not guarantee what you will obtain. You may desire money but end up with many misfortunes instead. This is a highly concise summary of this generation. Are you surprised by the calamities of this world? There is no need to be. What do people think? What do they hold in their hearts? For instance, someone may embezzle 3 billion yuan as a corrupt official and then be sentenced to death. What are they after? Dying at thirty, fifty, or eighty years old is essentially the same. What do they need 3 billion for? How will they spend it? I cannot figure it out. Man dies for wealth, birds for food.

Woe to those who devise wickedness and plot evil on their beds! When morning comes, they practice it, because it is in their power. (Micah 2:1)

Woe means there is trouble. In fact, if you open your eyes and look carefully, what conclusion can you draw? It is how much our value system has been destroyed. If our value system is about money, that is Esau's set of values, which is quite corrupt. Why can't corrupt officials be eliminated no matter how many are caught? Because people regard these things as highly valuable.

Those who see others engaging in corruption, bribery, and graft often do not realise that they would do the same if they were in that position. Why? Because they share the same value system. When morning comes, they practice it because it is in their power. Why don't you do it? Because you lack the ability to embezzle 3 billion, or 300 million, or 30 million, or 3 million. So, you struggle on.

Most of us who experience misfortune do so for a few reasons. One of them is loving the world, loving worldly things excessively, coveting fields and seizing them. If I have the power, I covet it, and it becomes mine. But you invite disaster by opposing God. You take the houses you like without going through procedures. You are the procedure; you declare it yours, and it is yours. Why? Because you have the power.

There is a doctrine in this world called the survival of the fittest. If you are a lover of the world, you resent the survival of the fittest. You clench your small fists, but you lack the ability to fight back. You hate it intensely. Then you begin to envy those with power, and that is where things go wrong. You become like Esau, and the situation worsens. Today, I must once again urge everyone to come out of Esau's logic system, which is a logic system of the strong.

Those who rely on their own hands and swords will find that there is always someone better, something beyond, and a mountain outside the mountain. You will never be the best in the world, and even if you are, you may not be able to govern the world. Then people oppress each other, occupying houses and properties. So, what do we observe in this generation? We observe rampant disasters. Do not think that having property or something else will make things better.

Even today, I am still moved. For example, some brothers and sisters learn what from certain livestreamers? They learn that set of worldly things, and what do they end up learning? How to control their husbands. With your brains, playing that game is not a good idea. Before you play, you think you are good, but you are not. The value system in your brain has not changed. How to control your husband? How to seize all the wages and property? Some people can seize it, and they manage it well, but will they end up in disaster? Definitely, because this thing is valuable to you.

If you do not know that these worldly things are not valuable, then you are following the worldly logic system. What will happen if you follow it to the end? You can only say good luck. This logic system is the key that the Israelites repeatedly fell into, the logic system that makes corruption impossible to eradicate, the logic system that invites disaster.

Let us ponder slowly. Do not offend God; love God. Do not end up with a bunch of disasters. Needless to say, a small cancer cell can take your life, and a coronavirus can take your life. Brothers and sisters, remember our old three: loving the world, indulging the flesh, and discerning good and evil. If you can keep these three things on your lips every day, and try to get rid of them every day, then we can eat the new three: love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.

God Is Planning Disaster Against This Clan

Therefore the Lord says: “Behold, I am devising disaster against this family, from which you cannot remove your necks; nor shall you walk haughtily, for this is an evil time.” (Micah 2:3)

God is telling you to wait and see. Do not do these things. After you do them, God starts thinking: how can I send some disaster to him? That is the meaning in Micah. After reading it, you think, oh my goodness, God is going to send some disaster to me. Not to mention too many disasters, even a disaster as small as death can take your life. Those who plan disaster will have the disaster bound to them, unable to be freed.

Chinese Mingding Destiny often speaks of an interesting logic, which is that some diseases cannot be healed by prayer. Why? Because the disease comes from God. What can you do? If the disaster comes from God, and you say, In the name of Jesus Christ, I command the disaster to leave, it won't leave. The disaster cannot be removed from you. Oh, I am struck by how difficult it is to heal pastors and those who appear very spiritual through prayer. So, how do disasters come to the home?

Sometimes our hearts are about to break as we minister. The other day I heard someone being ministered to say, What the teacher said is not like what you are saying. The words of these small pastors among us may not even be 10% as powerful as mine. Why? Because dealing with the old three—loving the world, indulging the flesh, and discerning good and evil—is difficult because people are foolish. It is difficult to pull people out of disaster, especially those who seem spiritual.

Why? Because they are fake spiritual people. Oh, they seize on a slightly inappropriate word spoken by the small pastor and hold on tightly, saying, Aren't you teachers? Then why would you say that? Needless to say, these kinds of people have a lot of disasters. I am not cursing you; Micah is describing God's heart clearly here.

Over the past few years, we have summarised the experience that we cannot bring everyone into the church. I would rather the church not be revived than to bring in a bunch of these people. If you are willing to remove the old three, then we have room for cooperation. If you think you are all right, what are you coming here to learn? As soon as you confront and test them a little, they bare their teeth. The pastors I train often test everyone, whether intentionally or unintentionally; they just blurt out a lot.

I am particularly grateful to God. Isn't this forcing people to discern good and evil? If they fail to discern good and evil, don't think they are justified. Try it out and see people's reactions. If they bare their teeth at the slightest touch, aren't they beasts? Look at a dog or a wolf; when it curls its lips upward, revealing a row of teeth, with two canines exposed and its eyes showing ferocity, then forget it.

Over the past few years, I have tested many times and learned deep lessons. If I were to do it again, I would not want to solve these problems. I do not want to solve the disasters that God sends. You should deal with the old three at home while eating Northeastern stew.

What are our pastors doing? We meet them by chance. If they come to the church to learn, let them learn. But if we offend them, it feels like we should kneel down and beg them. Why is it like this? If it were me, I would kneel down quickly and beg you to go to a bigger temple. This place is not good; we cannot handle it.

So, can you remember the theme that God is planning disaster? If you just cling to the old three, God will prepare a few things for you. Oh, how can I send some disaster to this person? How can I deal with this brat? When we see such people, we can figure out with our heels that disaster will surely come. If it is not this disaster, it will be that disaster, because people’s hearts are filled with these things.

When have you ever seen Jesus like this? The problem is that people have these flaws, and when they encounter disaster, they do not reflect on themselves. They still think God made a mistake, and prayer cannot free them. If our pastors receive such a person, they should quickly retreat and run away. They cannot handle it. Any other problem can be solved, but this is a knot in God’s system that we cannot untie. We cannot handle God sending disaster. Who can handle it? Only their own repentance can handle it.

God says to quickly come out of Esau's evil ways. Why are people busy? Because they are busy with other things. Why do people not have time? Because other things are more important than this. Worldly affairs, work, business, and children are more important. Without thinking, God will surely plan some disaster. It is certain. If you do not believe the Old Testament, examine the New Testament, and you can still see a big vein, but you just do not understand it.

Someone asks: Oh, this brother loves the Lord very much, but why did he get cancer? I think you should ponder it slowly. I will not say, because I do not know why this happens. You ask me: Does God think this way? I do not know, I don't know, I don't want to know. Do you understand? I dare not say, because they will come at you with a fierce look. Will they not bite? As long as people do not want to repent, our brothers and sisters in the church must be careful.

So, what do you do when you receive a newcomer? We have not finished dealing with the old ones yet. When you receive a newcomer, you must test them a bit, whether intentionally or unintentionally. In fact, sometimes I tell you that God is very wonderful. You unintentionally give the other person a handle to discern good and evil, and the other person bares their teeth. You say that I made a mistake, but God did not make a mistake.

Our brothers and sisters should not talk about serving others first; we also need to deeply repent. We cannot love the world, or disaster will come. Do not say I did not tell you. The prophet has said it many times. Do not love the world, do not eat the old three. It is so much better to eat fresh things. Why do you have to eat the old three? If I love the world, indulge the flesh, and discern good and evil, God will definitely not care about me. No matter if you are a pastor, a Christian, or how loudly or how many hours you pray, it will not work.

On That Day, People Will Sing a Dirge for You

In that day one shall take up a taunt song against you and wail with bitter lamentation, saying, “We are utterly ruined; he changes the portion of my people; how he removes it from me! To an apostate he allots our fields.” Therefore you will have no one to cast the line by lot in the assembly of the Lord. (Micah 2:4-5)

Do you know when people sing dirges? You may not all understand this sentence. On that day, these people will be utterly ruined. Why? Why does God give our land to the rebellious? I am very obedient. Actually, I tell you, this is written to those rebellious people.

After people die, their souls are still there, and they are very surprised. People do not understand why this happened even in death. There are many such people. I suggest that you often do not be surprised or ask why; these are all God's actions. Do not ask God why He gives my things to others. God says He has already sung a dirge for you. What do you need this thing for? You cannot take it away. You came naked, and you leave naked. What do you need these things for?

Do you still love the world when your eyes are shut and your legs are stretched out? You are no longer qualified. I can give it to whomever I want. And if there is another sentence, it would be: It's none of your business. I tell you, you would be speechless for a long time. Why are you singing a dirge for me? It's over, period. Alas, this world is cruel.

I tell you, this world is supremely fair, fair to an extreme degree. Someone posted that the father of the COVID-19 vaccine was arrested, the COVID-19 vaccine expert died at 53, and the Shuanghuanglian special medicine also collapsed. People who got rich from COVID-19 were infected with COVID-19, passing away at 66. People who promoted Pfizer's special medicine for COVID-19 were infected with COVID-19, passing away at 40.

God truly has eyes. God, I must praise you. God's justice and mercy exceed our imagination. God is a God of retribution. Don't love the world to the point of disqualification. In the assembly of the Lord, no one casts lots or draws a measuring line, meaning you have no inheritance, no share. The prophet Micah wrote it quite obscurely. Never wait until that day. Before that day comes, quickly come out of these old three things. Don't wait until you are old and decrepit, with weak legs and feet, and a failing mind, and then find that money can't help you.

I am not hoping that everyone engages in those things. I hope that we are neither controlled by others nor do we control others. Don't let others covet our industries and finances, and don't let us covet the industries of others. Don't be greedy for other people's property, and also be shrewd. If you are taken advantage of, you can only blame yourself for being stupid. We can earn it back. If we don't earn it back and instead earn some misfortune, then on that day, you will stretch out your legs and shut your eyes.

People Cannot Accept Prophetic Predictions

The prophet always wants to destroy your worldly values, but you love nothing else, you just love the world and the things of the world. You feel that these things are very important. How can you talk about it? You can't. One tells you not to love the world, and you just love it. Don't love it, and you just love it. Alas, just don't love it. That won't do.

Alas, lamentation. It is not easy to be a prophet. The prophet sees from afar that God is preparing disaster for him and tells him, but he says: Don't speak, you cannot curse me. I often see people, you tell them they can't do this anymore, they will be cursed, and they say don't curse me.

There was a sister who had many illnesses, all of which I helped to heal through God's grace, but she still loved the world. I said: You cannot indulge the flesh, love the world, and discern good and evil. She said: I don't, don't curse me. Oh, do I have the ability to curse people? Do you think I have the ability to curse people? I should not have the ability to curse people. Cursing should be God's job.

Of course, those who curse Abraham will be cursed. If I were Abraham, that would be great. If you are Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, can you be cursed? Can anyone curse you? They can't. After cursing, they themselves will be cursed. It's too powerful. When I was very young, I thought it would be great to be Abraham.

Do not speak prophecies to people. They think you are shaming them. Are you shaming them? Some people say peace, but where did the peace go? One of our sisters, whose brother is also a Christian in the church, has cancer, and a dirge has already been sung for him. So why did that Christian die? Isn't everyone supposed to be at peace? Are the sisters in the church all at peace? I am truly moved.

What I hate most is the church always talking about peace, but in the end, you have no peace. If you really have peace, their peace is okay too. If you see this kind of person and say peace, and then they snap to attention, salute, give you a military salute, but the key is they are not at peace. I say it's no good, it's bad, and they say I am cursing them. I can't reason with them. They just like the way the pastors in their church preach. It's helpless.

Recently, I saw a brother studying all kinds of knowledge everywhere. His wife died and he is free. He must have started dating. Before his wife died, he came to me with brain cancer. After I prayed and he got better, he continued to love the world. Alas, he was happy to be healed and traveled everywhere. I said you can't keep doing this. Later, I swallowed the words back. This job of mine is quite troublesome. I don't dare to speak, I'm afraid to speak. He would say to me: Get out of here. Look how loving the people in our church are. When I had brain cancer, they all made soup for me.

Wasn't it being made until a dirge had to be sung? Why are you still making soup? She said: What? You didn't even make soup for me, you just prayed for me. I thank God, do you still want me to thank you? I was speechless for a long time. If I experience this kind of thing a few more times, someone will have to sing a dirge for me. Fortunately, I am magnanimous and don't take it to heart.

If a man walking after wind and falsehood had lied and said, ‘I will prophesy to you of wine and strong drink,’ he would be the prophet of this people. (Micah 2:11)

Always remember, true prophets speak harsh words. I have to give everyone a heads-up so you know that sometimes I am real, sometimes I am fake. If one day I also say to you: Sister, peace, Jesus loves you. That's bad. The teacher has become a false prophet in front of me. No, I only act as a false prophet in front of you. If you like to hear the truth, then let's have some truth. If you like to hear falsehoods, we can do that too.

As a pastor, you have to do the work of birth, old age, sickness, and death. Bless the child when it is born, bury the person when they die. Funerals are quite busy. I didn't like being a pastor before because I saw them busy with this stuff and it seemed tiring. You also have to say: Ride a crane to the west, virgin boys and girls, do a whole set of those words. I used to collect a book, weddings have wedding words, funerals have funeral words, a set of professional writing. Where did it come from? The Catholic Church and the Anglican Church both have such a book called The Book of Common Prayer. Our communion liturgy is copied from them, it's not written by me, I copied it from others. I'm telling everyone all of this.

People ask me: Teacher, did my mother go up or down? Definitely went up. Sometimes people haven't even finished speaking, and I say definitely went up. How else can you say it? Just say it that way, but back to the point, alas, it's just to give the living some faith. Many people don't know God's deeds until they die.

Today I am preaching on the second chapter of Micah. I hope that our brothers and sisters can understand God's deeds. Don't wait until you depart from this world and still not understand God's deeds, still liking that stuff about going up or down. It's that stuff, what is it, prophets of Gath, virgin boys and girls, what good is that? That stuff is useless.

You can't drink clear wine and strong drink anymore, even if it's clear wine and strong drink, that's all it is. Clear wine and strong drink have become chemotherapy and radiation therapy. Chemotherapy, radiation therapy, clear wine, and strong drink are not the same thing. Alas, slowly ponder it. Loving the world is something you can't do. Can I give you a little shock? You can't love the world anymore.

The Prophet Laments That God's People Have Become God's Enemies

God has abundant grace and mercy. God's kingdom is about to descend upon us. In the kingdom of heaven, there is no poverty, no disease, no such troubles. So why hasn't the kingdom of heaven descended upon us? Because people have become God's enemies.

Lately my people have risen up as an enemy; you strip the rich robe from those who pass by trustingly, like men returning from battle. The women of my people you drive from their pleasant homes; you take away my blessing from their children forever. (Micah 2:8-9)

How can people who do these things have rest? They do anything for property and money, and then they think they are good, and they thank God. How can this kind of testimony be spoken? People specialize in doing filthy and destructive things. Loving the world is definitely filthy. Loving the world and the things of the world is what we call the spirit of Old Ma.

What does the spirit of Old Ma do? It manages the sewers. Manholes and toilets all belong to Old Ma's family. I find it strange, what does the toilet have to do with horses? Why is it called a horse toilet and not a cow toilet? It's not called a rice bucket either. All the filthy things are managed by Old Ma. If people love the world, they will definitely attract Old Ma.

Some time ago, a sister sent me a message saying that women are twice as likely to get Alzheimer's disease as men. I thought this was very interesting. Why is it interesting? I pondered and guessed about eighty or ninety percent of it. Whoever manages the money in the family is more likely to get Alzheimer's disease. Think about it slowly. This is not a complete statistic. Why? Loving the world is loving money, loving money is loving the world, and then what? God has no way to be your resting place, because filth destroys people, and destroys them greatly. Why does he manage the money? People who love money manage the money.

God Wants You to Come Out of Esau's Curse

“I will surely gather all of you, Jacob; I will surely bring together the remnant of Israel. I will bring them together like sheep in a pen, like a flock in its pasture; the place will throng with people. The Breaker goes up before them; they break through and pass the gate, and go out through it. Their king goes on before them, the Lord at their head.” (Micah 2:12-13)

Did you hear that? God wants you to come out of Esau's curse. Alas, those who have passed away don't need to come out anymore, and those in the dirge don't need to come out anymore either. God is very moved by the remaining people: What to do with these remaining people? Bring them out of Esau's curse. The remaining people are all protected by God. The remaining people don't seem to love the world so much anymore. God doesn't really want to destroy them anymore, and still wants to leave a root.

Where are they all? Bozrah, the capital of Esau, the capital of Esau's love for the world. The people in Esau's capital have all been caught by evil spirits. After being caught, they are not allowed to come out. What to do if they are not allowed to come out? God is opening the way before them, guiding them out. That is a bloody path cut out. If you want to come out of Esau's capital, isn't that cutting out a bloody path?

Which of us hasn't created a bloody path to come out of the control of loving the world? God has abundant grace and mercy. Which of us didn't come out of Esau's capital, with our minds full of worldly things, experiencing many disasters? If we can withstand it, we are lucky. Loving the world to the point of depression.

In Bozrah, Esau's capital, ankylosing spondylitis, arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, anal fistula, all belong to Old Ma's family. You are caught in Old Ma's capital, and then what? God wants to bring you out of there. Then you start following God out, establishing a Godly logic system.

The prophets are shouting and crying. This is the Book of the Prophets written with the blood of the prophets. Which prophet wasn't killed by the things of this world? They were all killed by the things of this world. People who love the world won't kill you for talking like this every day. All of us who have experienced this must completely destroy this worldly logical system. The love of the world, destroy it. Destroy the old three things: indulgence of the flesh, love of the world, and discernment of good and evil. Then we come out of Esau's capital, out of Esau's logical system.

Alas, it's not easy for the remaining people. It's not easy for our brothers and sisters to get to this day. Those who remained and were not destroyed were lucky. They tossed and turned so much. Until today, they still often go back to Esau's capital for a stroll. What are you going back to Bozrah for? You can't go back anymore.

Can we draw a conclusion from listening to the call of the prophet Micah? Come out quickly before this dirge sounds. Be someone who loves God. You say I am already very poor. It is precisely because you are very poor that I ask you to love God. You are very poor because you love the world. You have so many problems because you love the world. Can our brothers and sisters destroy this set of values? It looks very real, it looks very practical, but it is a value system full of disasters. May God have mercy on us, Amen.
