2023-01-27 71,876 Genesis Genesis 19 Genesis Chapter 19 Eternal Life This Life Timidity Predestination

Introduction

Greetings! Let's delve into Genesis Chapter 19. Please pay close attention, there are numerous points to discuss in Genesis Chapter 19. No matter which angle you approach it from, you won't stray too far. However, I want to title this theme: The End of Losing Mingding Destiny.

The Life of Lot

Lot's father died when he was young. In those days, his mother probably couldn't work and support him. So, Lot followed Abraham. Since following Abraham, Lot lived a life of dignity. Although Abraham was his uncle, he treated him like a father. Lot's background of losing his father at a young age seems to imply a bit of information: a short-lived family is not necessarily a good thing, and it is related to the spiritual background of the family.

We see that when Abraham was in his 70s, he was living well but insisted on taking Lot to Canaan. Lot followed Abraham to Canaan, and as a result, Lot and Abraham became very wealthy, but they lived a hard life. Everyone must understand that living a life of Mingding Destiny will be slightly more difficult. In fact, Lot benefited greatly from his uncle Abraham, because God blessed Abraham, and everything Abraham did was blessed, although it was hard, he was very wealthy.

When people have money, they pursue a good life. Moving tents as a nomadic people is very hard work. The nomadic lifestyle is completely different from the urban and rural farming lifestyles. The entire level is completely different. Living in the city has hygiene, bathrooms, and things for soaking. When you have nothing to do, you can also have a sweat steaming and sauna. These things are difficult to achieve in nomadic life. Who would bring a lot of bath pools and bathtubs? How can you bring them? Can't bring them! So the life of nomadic people is very simple and hard.

Lot walked east and looked west, and felt that life in Sodom was good. The entire street was well constructed, the sanitary facilities were first-class, and there was absolutely no garbage everywhere. It looked so good. One day, in order to pursue a good life, he left his uncle and moved to Sodom. As a result, the city of Sodom was looted by Chedorlaomer, and Lot and his wife were taken away. There is a price to pay for pursuing a good life.

At this time, Lot and his wife thought of Abraham and began to pray to the God of Abraham. The God of Abraham seemed to respond to Lot, but actually did not respond. Someone ran to Abraham and said: Your nephew Lot has been robbed. So Abraham defeated Chedorlaomer and rescued Lot, the king of Sodom, and the people of Sodom. After being rescued, Lot and his wife thanked God: Thank God for answering our prayers! As a result, they forgot his uncle Abraham and continued to run on the road to pursue a good life.

At this time, Lot looked back! Can't! He didn't want to live that hard life with this old man. And this old man has a bad habit: he lives well in one place, but he has to move away. Walking all over this land is annoying to watch. He asked Abraham: Uncle, why do we have to move again with so many things? It's so hard to walk a little with the whole family? Abraham didn't care and just left. I just want to toss, I just want to live this kind of life. Lot couldn't stand it, and his head buzzed when he thought of these things. After they came back, they lived in Sodom again and made a lot of money in Sodom.

Do you know how expensive the houses in Sodom are? Similar to the housing prices in Shenzhen. It would be amazing if you could buy one set there. If you buy two, three, or four sets, you will make a fortune. Lot and his wife counted money in the house all day long, buying properties and houses, and they were very happy. Every time they bought a property, they prayed: God, bless my property! Does everyone have a sense of déjà vu? Many Christians are probably in this situation. As a result, at the moment when disaster struck, they lost everything.

They felt that the culture in the city of Sodom was not good, and we had to transform this city. Did they transform it? No! They also had a sense of Mingding Destiny, as if his Mingding Destiny was to transform the city of Sodom. In fact, they couldn't transform it and were destroyed before they could transform it. He always thought that God was still with him, and angels came to save him. He never knew it was because God remembered Abraham. Isn't this a tragedy? Everything is messed up.

Looking at Lot and those who lost Mingding Destiny from the perspective of Chinese Mingding Destiny theology, it is simply the same. In order to live a good life, Lot also has his own set of logic. He adheres to a very noble moral concept: he has two daughters, and these two daughters have always been virgins and cannot have premarital sex. But does he have Mingding Destiny? No Mingding Destiny. His Mingding Destiny is to live well. He doesn't turn back when he should turn back, and he has to turn back when he shouldn't turn back. Turning back is turning back to the world. As a result, he lost everything, and finally he was left with a jar of wine and two daughters hiding in a cave.

The two daughters gave his father wine, got him drunk, and then had relations with his father. His two daughters became pregnant by her father, who were the ancestors of the Moabites and Ammonites. The two daughters have the same way of thinking, in the same vein, they want to have children, and they cannot be without children when they are old and dead, it's all about that. Chinese Mingding Destiny theology really despises having children, not having children; having children, not having children; living this way, living that way; tossing, not tossing; hard work, not hard work.

During the Chinese New Year, a sister was videoing with her mother. I happened to be there and she said to me: Teacher, please say a few words to my mother. Her mother came up and advised me: Can you let my child have a child? Can I do this? It's not my turn! She has a husband. I said: Don't look for me for this matter, I can't handle it, you have to find the right person for this matter. Lot's life is a life of losing Mingding Destiny, which is not surprising. Everyone should gradually receive a concept: Retreating is entering perdition. As long as you retreat, you will enter perdition.

How People Lose Mingding Destiny

In the past, in the process of building the church, many people left one after another. Why did they leave? In fact, they often experienced earth-shattering testimonies among us. They were not ordinary testimonies, but testimonies of God's great grace. But in their minds, there is a concept of pursuing a good life on earth. Who doesn't want to live a better life? Isn't the testimony you are talking about a testimony of living a better life? That is not the goal, that is a by-product. Did Abraham live well? He lived well, but he also lived a hard life. Abraham didn't have the concept of pursuing a good life on earth in his heart. If a person has this concept of pursuing a good life, you will not be able to walk the road of Mingding Destiny on this earth.

How do people lose Mingding Destiny? It is not by robbing a bank that you lose Mingding Destiny. Nor do you need to go up the mountain to become a bandit, nor do you need to rob, nor do you need to rise up. It's just that I want to educate my children well, manage my family well, and live a good life, then it's troublesome! Taking living a life as the goal is the beginning of losing Mingding Destiny. Among us, I can tell that this person is pursuing living a life. Those pastoral leaders came to me and said: Teacher, look at how so-and-so sister is doing. I said: It's over! Just wait slowly to be taken away by Lao Ma! It's only a matter of time before you are taken away by Lao Ma.

If you have the goal of living a life in your head, then you will not be able to walk this road of Mingding Destiny. Our view of living is completely different from those who pursue a good life. Because we don't care about living in this world at all, we care about the glory in eternity. Suffering a little in this world cannot deprive me of my Mingding Destiny. It is only right and proper to serve a little harder. I was born for this, I live for this, and I die for this. What's the problem? The price paid is far from enough!

Everyone carefully observes some people. He claims to be a person with Mingding Destiny, and he has also heard of Mingding Destiny, but his Mingding Destiny is very similar to Lot's Mingding Destiny. They think that pursuing a good life is beyond reproach! Doesn't everyone have to pursue buying a house, buying a property, pursuing good sanitary conditions, and buying more property? It's not okay to pay the price for Jesus! It's not okay to give for Jesus! I have found many such people. These people usually either leave by themselves or I send them away. In fact, Lot didn't leave by himself. This kid is very smart and forced his uncle Abraham to send him away. He didn't dare to speak. Then his uncle looked at the situation and said to Lot: You go!

For example, a sister said: Teacher, I can't serve like you. I said: Why can't you serve like us? She said: You see, I have to go to work the next morning, and I have to go to bed at 10:30 in the evening, but you serve until late at night. I said: What is this? When I serve you, I have to get up and go to work in the morning. But I work until two or three in the middle of the night! Why didn't you say at that time: Teacher, you have to go to work tomorrow! Is this the truth? Just thinking about yourself! In fact, paying the price has screened people out all at once. What are you pursuing?

Later she said: Teacher, if I can't serve like you, can't I stay in the church? I said: You are right. So I sent her away. Later, she really found a good church, like the church opened by Lot, pastoring a nephew like Lot, which is very good. So today there is still a saying: His uncle's. His uncle often sends him away, that's the logic.

Lot's entire life logic is to live a life and educate his children well. Children are his core interests, and children cannot have premarital sex, which is very important. Developed economic environment, good educational environment, how good! What he pursues is all about living this life. When I say this, everyone thinks: Oh, how come I also have half a Lot in me? That's normal.

Everyone starts to wake up and know one thing, a person who loves God does not love God because he loves the world. What is this? Some people love God in order to live a good life, that's wrong! Your goal is to live a life, your goal is not to love God. But I tell you, turn this thing upside down, loving God is not for living a good life, loving God is for the glory in eternity, let's just live this life in this world. Go to bed early if you go to bed early, go to bed late if you go to bed late, sleep for a while if you are sleepy, and work if you should work.

Yesterday a sister said to me: Teacher, I want to lose weight. I said okay! She said, do you have any tricks? I said, study hard, work hard, and you will naturally lose weight. Teacher, what should I do if I want to be happy? I said, study hard, work hard, and serve well. Teacher, why do you say that? How can I love God? I said: Study hard, work hard, serve well, and do serious things. Later, this guy put a hat on me, called the King of Volume. We are not for living well!

Everyone knows that all the properties in Lot's house were burned by the fire that God sent from heaven, and all of them were reduced to nothing, because his goal in life was not to do everything for God, he was for himself. This kind of logical system and concept is the beginning of losing Mingding Destiny.

My logic is very simple, if you ask me: Why are you so diligent and so hard? I said I am not hard! It is only right and proper for me to do these things. I love to study when I am a student, and I love to work when I am working. It's so good! I do everything for God, because God wants to examine me in this world to see if I am a faithful and good person. Although I was not a Christian at that time, I had a bit of that taste.

People Who Lose Mingding Destiny Will Still Uphold Moral Concepts

Everyone slowly ponder, I wish everyone could learn a lesson from Lot. Don't work hard desperately, just so that you can live a better life. Take a bath, you can also sauna, and there are very good sanitary facilities, it's not this kind of life. We must know that the end result of this kind of life is to return to the origin. Think about it, Lot's children are so old, and he is quite old, he should be fifty or sixty years old. It would be uncomfortable for a fifty or sixty-year-old man to return to the origin without drinking some wine. But before this ending comes, he still upholds a very noble moral standard.

Do you know that today's Christianity is very similar to the Judaism of Ezekiel's time. The Jews of Ezekiel's time attended gatherings, and everyone there said: Peace, peace! But God was going to destroy that place and bring the king of Babylon to destroy the city of Jerusalem, because these people maintained the concept of outwardly noble morality, but in their bones they loved the world and were full of the desire to pursue a good life on earth. Do you think the current church is like it? Very similar. Pursuing a good life means losing Mingding Destiny. Why do you still want to maintain a noble moral sentiment? Because the depths of the heart will get a little satisfaction and comfort. The gospel of Jesus Christ has been believed to be a gospel without power, and the Bible has been read as the Tao Te Ching. In fact, he didn't understand the Tao Te Ching either.

I think it is very dangerous for people to live for the sake of living, for the sake of children, for the sake of work, and for the sake of living this life. Many mothers are full of their sons. Some people say: What else should I put in my mind if not my son? I tell you, God really did something that we cannot understand. God asked Abraham to offer Isaac, what is the logic? If Abraham only pursued this one thing on earth for the sake of his children, he would not be able to offer Isaac to God. He would only say: God! I am old and only have an old bone left, what do you want my son for? This child is still young, you might as well take my life! God said: No, I don't want your life, I just want your son's life. What do you say about this? Therefore, the internal relationships in the family often become our restraints, because living is all about these things.

Lot saw the angels coming to save him, and he thought he was a righteous man. I have seen many Christians who have a lot of Lot in them. They also like to call Lot a righteous man. What kind of righteous man is Lot? He is a person who loses Mingding Destiny and enters perdition. Some people say: Doesn't the Bible say that Lot is a righteous man? Who said Lot is a righteous man? Only Lot said that he was a righteous man, only people like Lot would say that Lot was a righteous man.

Peter and Lot are both of the "De" generation, so don't give your children names of the "De" generation anymore, and don't call them this "De" or that "De", the "De" generation has a bit of a problem. Although Paul and Lot are both of the "Luo" generation, it is better to have a "Luo" generation than a "De" generation! It was Peter who said that Lot was a righteous man. Jesus never said that Lot was a righteous man, and Paul never said that Lot was a righteous man.

Brothers and sisters must know that don't turn the faith of Jesus Christ into a faith of moral concepts. If you ask me why I say this, I can say it more bluntly. Like James who wrote the Book of James, he should have made a mistake. He should not have believed in Jesus, he should have believed in Buddha, because the road he took is very similar to the road of Sakyamuni, he cultivated too well. I think we have changed the powerful faith of Jesus Christ into a noble moral sentiment, which is the standard held by a Lot who lost Mingding Destiny.

Have you noticed that the moral standards of the church are very high now, but it has lost the power of Jesus Christ. I am more explicit in this lecture on Genesis. I used to hide it and didn't dare to say it. This time I boldly said it, is it because God remembers Lot? No. Moses hid it in this place when he wrote it! Because God remembered Abraham, so when he destroyed the cities of the plain, he sent Lot out of the overthrow.

Everyone must know that Lot's salvation was not because of his righteousness, he was not a righteous man. His noble moral sentiment was fully demonstrated, but that thing is not called righteousness. The righteousness in the Bible is righteousness by faith, believing that our God can make something out of nothing and raise the dead. Abraham is such a person. If you ask Lot to offer his child, would that work? That is his core interest. But Abraham was willing to offer his child to God. Therefore, God remembered Abraham and sent Lot out of the city of overthrow.

Lot's Deliverance Due to Remembrance of Abraham

And it came to pass, when God destroyed the cities of the plain, that God remembered Abraham, and sent Lot out of the midst of the overthrow, when he overthrew the cities in which Lot dwelt. (Genesis 19:29)

God sent Lot out of the destruction and overthrow because He remembered Abraham. This had nothing to do with Lot. It was only because Lot was Abraham's nephew, and still a man who had lost his Mingding Destiny; because God remembered Abraham. Thankfully, the Bible writes so clearly, otherwise we would really think Lot was a righteous man. Look, Lot was quite something, willing to offer his two daughters to protect the angels. He said to the local people:

I pray you, brethren, do not so wickedly. Behold now, I have two daughters which have not known man; let me bring them out unto you, and do ye to them as is good in your eyes: only unto these men do nothing; for therefore came they under the shadow of my roof. (Genesis 19:7-8)

God sent two angels to save Lot because He remembered Abraham.

And there came two angels to Sodom at even; and Lot sat in the gate of Sodom; and Lot seeing them rose up to meet them, and he bowed himself with his face toward the ground; And he said, Behold now, my lords, turn in, I pray you, into your servant's house, and tarry all night, and wash your feet, and ye shall rise up early, and go on your ways. And they said, Nay; but we will abide in the street all night. (Genesis 19:1-2)

If Lot hadn't even done this, what do you think the result would have been? If Lot had ignored these two angels, he would have been destroyed along with the people of the city. This was also a slight test for Lot. If he passed, he would be saved; if he failed, he would be destroyed with them. So, everyone must know that Lot's salvation was not because of what Lot did earlier. That earlier event was just a small test given by God. If you are also like that, then be destroyed with the city!

If Lot knew that he was saved because God remembered Abraham, or asked the two angels why they were saving him, whether it was because they remembered his uncle Abraham. If the angels said: Yes, it has nothing to do with you, it is because we remember your uncle Abraham. If Lot knew this and had some self-awareness, he would not have fled to the mountains, but would have fled to Abraham's house. He would have said: Uncle, it was foolish of me to leave you back then, just let me be with your servants; if you let me feed the pigs, I will feed the pigs; if you tell me to herd sheep, I will herd sheep; whatever you let me raise, I will raise; just treat me as one of your workers, okay?

In fact, Jesus really told this parable. If he really ran to Abraham and said: I used to pursue a good life, I messed up, I used to pursue a high level of morality and sentiment, I know I was wrong. I am back, I want to follow you on the heavenly road. I tell you, as long as you become a person with Mingding Destiny, you won't end up like this. But Lot couldn't, he couldn't turn back, because once the ideas in a person's mind take shape, it is difficult to change them.

Brothers and sisters, I tell you: many people can't hear it, because their hearts are filled with worldly things. That thing is extremely tight, it is difficult to turn back, because loving the world is their life, living is their life, having offspring is their life. So brothers and sisters must be careful, once you have that set of logic inside, God's word cannot enter! If you have that set of ideas inside, God's word cannot enter, then my words are even more nonsense.

The most upsetting thing in my conversation with people is that you are very persistent in your own set of views. You explain again and again that what you are doing is right, why you are doing it, and how reasonable it is. Lot also had a very good explanation, so after experiencing a disaster, he finally escaped, thank God. In fact, he should thank Abraham, because he got a second-hand deal. I am so emotional! Losing Mingding Destiny is because of loving the world.

How Deeply Lot Loved the World

Moses wrote Genesis and Luke wrote Acts, both are hidden very deeply, but I have dug them out. When Lot saw the angels destroy the city, what he thought of was not the glory in eternity. What he thought of was that all the property I worked so hard to acquire was gone; my savings, my shops, one shop can support three generations! How could it be gone?

And while he lingered, the men laid hold upon his hand, and upon the hand of his wife, and upon the hand of his two daughters; the Lord being merciful unto him: and they brought him forth, and set him without the city. (Genesis 19:16)

Lot lingered, and the two angels felt that, hey! Silly child, your life is gone, what do you need savings and property for? But that was all earned by Lot's hard work, and it may have been a brand-new house that was just renovated a week ago. The design of the house was good, or it was well-decorated, and the furniture inside was very advanced, massage chairs, bathtubs, treadmills, etc. He hadn't had a good time enjoying them yet. He wanted to ask the two angels if they could not destroy it, and you could also come and enjoy a bubble bath or something. But they had no time for that stuff. That was Lot's pursuit!

The newly bought treadmill and massage chair haven't been enjoyed yet! The invested property will be delivered in another year, and the brewed wine is still in the cellar! What about my collection? Those are all good wines with two hundred years of history, very valuable. Can I sell you a bottle for a few thousand? A bottle is hundreds of thousands. I also have antique paintings hidden at home, and some antiques. There are also rosewood chairs and rosewood tables. Why is this thing so heavy, I can't lift it. Oh my God! God! Don't you think it's upsetting, his heart is all in there. Lot couldn't figure it out, how could such a beautiful place be destroyed. If your dreams in this life are not destroyed, is that God? Is that Jesus Christ?

Brothers and sisters must know one thing, God came to completely destroy your dreams in this life, so give up that idea. Brothers and sisters, let's run this glorious road together, which can last forever. The effect of our service will be with us forever, and the glory of God will be with us forever. This is my hope. Life and death are a very small matter, so this road cannot love the world.

The phrase "lingered" is very meaningful, it is simply heartbreaking. The order placed yesterday hasn't arrived today. What to do, the courier was also destroyed together. Not today's courier, I am talking about the courier in Sodom. He lingered because Lot's heart had already been wrapped in a love-the-world logic system, and then wrapped in a noble moral sentiment, making him dizzy. God, look how well I educated my children. What's so good about it, before long they went up the mountain and got their father drunk, and then had relations with their father.

In fact, I tell you, when Lot had relations with his daughters, the Bible says he didn't know anything. Maybe he knew but didn't want to know anymore, he just squinted his eyes when he woke up. He was used to it in Sodom, so he pretended not to know.

And they made their father drink wine that night: and the firstborn went in, and lay with her father; and he perceived not when she lay down, nor when she arose. And it came to pass on the morrow, that the firstborn said unto the younger, Behold, I lay yesternight with my father: let us make him drink wine this night also; and go thou in, and lie with him, that we may preserve seed of our father. And they made their father drink wine that night also: and the younger arose, and lay with him; and he perceived not when she lay down, nor when she arose. (Genesis 19:33-35)

Whether you love the world or not, it is a matter of life and death in an instant, we are not here to love the world. Why do I say Lot loved the world? He didn't bring anything when he fled to the cave, only a barrel of wine, what kind of brain is that. So in a person's life, if you live to live, you will have fear inside. If you have fear inside, it is because you take living too seriously. Brothers and sisters must know that all who are fearful will be thrown into the lake of fire and brimstone. Don't you think this is scary?

But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. (Revelation 21:8)

Sometimes I deliberately ask God: God, some people are born timid, look at that person I am pastoring, he is born timid. God's response surprised me, why is he timid? Because he loves the world. Why is he timid? Because he covets this life. A person who is not afraid of death is not afraid of anything. But a person with a heart that loves the world cannot help but be afraid. How do I know? Because Lot was afraid to live in Zoar.

And Lot went up out of Zoar, and dwelt in the mountain, and his two daughters with him; for he feared to dwell in Zoar: and he dwelt in a cave, he and his two daughters. (Genesis 19:30)

The meaning between the lines has all been dug out by me, exposing this Lot, and all the things in his heart are exposed to the eyes of our Bible study people. Lot was afraid to live in Zoar, what was he afraid of? Zoar was not destroyed because God remembered Abraham, so he saved Lot. Lot didn't want to run too far, he didn't want to run to the mountains.

Behold now, thy servant hath found grace in thy sight, and thou hast magnified thy mercy, which thou hast showed unto me in saving my life; and I cannot escape to the mountain, lest some evil take me, and I die. Behold now, this city is near to flee unto, and it is a little one: Oh, let me escape thither, (is it not a little one?) and my soul shall live. (Genesis 19:19-20)

He said: I can only run to Zoar. God said that I will not destroy Zoar either, and as a result, the people of Zoar survived because Lot ran there. What was Lot afraid of in that place? Afraid of death. The people in that place were very fierce and evil, all the result of loving the world. Abraham was walking a completely different path from him.

Brothers and sisters, are you going to walk Abraham's path or Lot's path? You really have to think about this. Once you have a feeling of fear, a feeling of loving the world, I tell you it's a little dangerous. Why is it a little dangerous? People are afraid and will attract ghosts. Sometimes God wants to save you but can't, and the ghosts will take you to the lake of fire and brimstone together, that's what ghosts do.

Before Lot's wife and Lot set off, the angels told them not to look back. Why? Looking back means loving the world very deeply. As a result, when she ran forward, his wife looked back and turned into a pillar of salt. Why tell you not to look back? Looking back will turn you into a pillar of salt, looking back will destroy your life. Because where a person's heart is, that's where his mind is. If a person's heart is on his property, on his money, concerned about Sodom, his life will be lost with Sodom on this road of pursuing love of the world. Where a person's treasure is, there his heart will be also. Lot's wife looked back and turned into a pillar of salt, a moment between life and death.

But his wife looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt. (Genesis 19:26)

You ask me: how do you live so well? It's because I don't want to live well, so I live quite well. Why aren't you afraid? Because I don't want to live, I'm not afraid. If anyone wants to kill me, I have to thank you, because I can't do it myself. I thank God that in the past few years, I have seen with my own eyes the moment between life and death. I have told you about those people who loved cars and died in car accidents, it had a profound impact on me. Later I loved God, and I have loved Him to this day. How could he not swallow this breath, it really pisses off those who always want to live but can't! Like me, who always wants to die, but can't swallow my breath, it's really a magical thing. What they asked Abraham for was completely different.

Losing Mingding Destiny is a Road of No Return

Losing Mingding Destiny is a road of no return, do you really think so? There is an old Chinese saying: a good horse doesn't eat回头草(literally: the grass it has grazed on before). If you turn back, you are not even considered a good horse, let alone an old horse. Once Lot took a path of losing Mingding Destiny, the logic inside him could justify itself. The logic inside him was very tight, and then he had no way to understand what the path of Mingding Destiny was all about. At this time, when he fled to the cave, he didn't want to admit one thing: I took the wrong path. Have you ever noticed that some people refuse to admit that they were wrong in the past, even if they die? They explain and explain to justify how reasonable it is that they have ended up in this state. I tell you this is a road of no return.

What was Lot thinking? Look, I was robbed in Sodom at that time, and I prayed, and God saved me. Look, God wants to destroy Sodom because I let my daughters maintain their virginity, so the angels saved me. Lot can explain everything reasonably. In fact, what we say can be explained reasonably, and what they say can also be explained reasonably. But the problem is, the foundation is completely different. I once gave a series of foundation courses, science is based on the foundation of assumptions, and assumptions are too powerful.

Abraham lived in assumptions, he assumed that people must have eternal life. Lot lived in an assumption that all human pursuits are to live in the world. Once this foundation is laid, the logic is very perfect, a perfect deduction. The Bible says that going backwards is falling into perdition, which is in Hebrews. I have seen some Christians who said: Oh, I will step back and rest for a while. Then just rest, rest until you rest in peace.

Losing Mingding Destiny is a road of no return, Lot cannot turn back. Looking at the world can turn back, but Mingding Destiny cannot turn back. You cannot turn back on the path of Mingding Destiny, and you cannot return to the path of Mingding Destiny on the path of loving the world. That is, if these people have experienced the power of God, and then openly shame Jesus Christ again, they cannot repent again. So brothers and sisters, no matter what you insist on, Mingding Destiny is a road of no return. May God bless everyone!

Genesis Chapter 19 Scripture

19:1 And there came two angels to Sodom at even; and Lot sat in the gate of Sodom; and Lot seeing them rose up to meet them, and he bowed himself with his face toward the ground;
19:2 And he said, Behold now, my lords, turn in, I pray you, into your servant's house, and tarry all night, and wash your feet, and ye shall rise up early, and go on your ways. And they said, Nay; but we will abide in the street all night.
19:3 And he pressed upon them greatly; and they turned in unto him, and entered into his house; and he made them a feast, and did bake unleavened bread, and they did eat.
19:4 But before they lay down, the men of the city, even the men of Sodom, compassed the house round, both old and young, all the people from every quarter;
19:5 And they called unto Lot, and said unto him, Where are the men which came in to thee this night? bring them out unto us, that we may know them.
19:6 And Lot went out at the door unto them, and shut the door after him,
19:7 And said, I pray you, brethren, do not so wickedly.
19:8 Behold now, I have two daughters which have not known man; let me bring them out unto you, and do ye to them as is good in your eyes: only unto these men do nothing; for therefore came they under the shadow of my roof.
19:9 And they said, Stand back. And they said again, This one fellow came in to sojourn, and he will needs be a judge: now will we deal worse with thee, than with them. And they pressed sore upon the man, even Lot, and came near to break the door.
19:10 But the men put forth their hand, and pulled Lot into the house to them, and shut to the door.
19:11 And they smote the men that were at the door of the house with blindness, both small and great: so that they wearied themselves to find the door.
19:12 And the men said unto Lot, Hast thou here any besides? son in law, and thy sons, and thy daughters, and whatsoever thou hast in the city, bring them out of this place:
19:13 For we will destroy this place, because the cry of them is waxen great before the face of the Lord; and the Lord hath sent us to destroy it.
19:14 And Lot went out, and spake unto his sons in law, which married his daughters, and said, Up, get you out of this place; for the Lord will destroy this city. But he seemed as one that mocked unto his sons in law.
19:15 And when the morning arose, then the angels hastened Lot, saying, Arise, take thy wife, and thy two daughters, which are here; lest thou be consumed in the iniquity of the city.
19:16 And while he lingered, the men laid hold upon his hand, and upon the hand of his wife, and upon the hand of his two daughters; the Lord being merciful unto him: and they brought him forth, and set him without the city.
19:17 And it came to pass, when they had brought them forth abroad, that he said, Escape for thy life; look not behind thee, neither stay thou in all the plain; escape to the mountain, lest thou be consumed.
19:18 And Lot said unto them, Oh, not so, my Lord:
19:19 Behold now, thy servant hath found grace in thy sight, and thou hast magnified thy mercy, which thou hast showed unto me in saving my life; and I cannot escape to the mountain, lest some evil take me, and I die:
19:20 Behold now, this city is near to flee unto, and it is a little one: Oh, let me escape thither, (is it not a little one?) and my soul shall live.
19:21 And he said unto him, See, I have accepted thee concerning this thing also, that I will not overthrow this city for which thou hast spoken.
19:22 Haste thee, escape thither; for I cannot do any thing till thou be come thither. Therefore the name of the city was called Zoar.
19:23 The sun was risen upon the earth when Lot entered into Zoar.
19:24 Then the Lord rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the Lord out of heaven;
19:25 And he overthrew those cities, and all the plain, and all the inhabitants of the cities, and that which grew upon the ground.
19:26 But his wife looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt.
19:27 And Abraham gat up early in the morning to the place where he stood before the Lord:
19:28 And he looked toward Sodom and Gomorrah, and toward all the land of the plain, and beheld, and lo, the smoke of the country went up as the smoke of a furnace.
19:29 And it came to pass, when God destroyed the cities of the plain, that God remembered Abraham, and sent Lot out of the midst of the overthrow, when he overthrew the cities in which Lot dwelt.
19:30 And Lot went up out of Zoar, and dwelt in the mountain, and his two daughters with him; for he feared to dwell in Zoar: and he dwelt in a cave, he and his two daughters.
19:31 And the firstborn said unto the younger, Our father is old, and there is not a man in the earth to come in unto us after the manner of all the earth:
19:32 Come, let us make our father drink wine, and we will lie with him, that we may preserve seed of our father.
19:33 And they made their father drink wine that night: and the firstborn went in, and lay with her father; and he perceived not when she lay down, nor when she arose.
19:34 And it came to pass on the morrow, that the firstborn said unto the younger, Behold, I lay yesternight with my father: let us make him drink wine this night also; and go thou in, and lie with him, that we may preserve seed of our father.
19:35 And they made their father drink wine that night also: and the younger arose, and lay with him; and he perceived not when she lay down, nor when she arose.
19:36 Thus were both the daughters of Lot with child by their father.
19:37 And the firstborn bare a son, and called his name Moab: the same is the father of the Moabites unto this day.
19:38 And the younger, she also bare a son, and called his name Benammi: the same is the father of the children of Ammon unto this day.
