【Bible Study】Isaiah Chapter 58 - Selfishness Hinders Prayer

2017-04-15 34,129 Isaiah

God Cares About the Intention of the Heart, Not Just Actions

Selfishness hinders prayers from being answered, and this can happen to anyone. Unanswered prayers indicate that our thoughts and intentions need to change. Brothers and sisters, selfishness truly obstructs our prayers. That is why God says: Cry aloud, spare not, lift up your voice like a trumpet, and show my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins. (Isaiah 58:1). What needs to be declared loudly is their sin. Some might be puzzled because these Israelites seek me daily and delight to know my ways, as if they were a nation that did righteousness and did not forsake the ordinance of their God; they ask of me righteous judgments; they delight to draw near to God. (Isaiah 58:2). This seems like a model of faith! Who could be more faithful than this?

But this is not what God desires. Does God not want us to draw near to Him? The Israelites of that time did these things, yet they did not understand what God truly wanted. We must also consider: How many of our prayers are actually answered? Behind the Israelites' pious actions, what were their motivations? Actually, it was to seek personal gain.

What is the Key to Faith?

What is the key element of our faith? We must awaken to this. The key to our faith is to obtain MingdingDestiny and become a blessing to all nations! Someone asked me: Pastor, aren't you tired from serving so much? Actually, I am very tired, worried to the point of exhaustion. But if I were doing it for my own benefit, I would not serve like this at all. If you come to faith seeking your own benefit, you haven't even found the door, let alone entered! We must clearly understand why we are believing in the Lord.

Recently, the term drawing near to God has become popular online. But that is not the Gospel! Isaiah 58 makes it clear. The essence of the Gospel is not to be healed, but to become a blessing to all nations. Start emulating Jacob, Joseph, David... We believe in the Lord to live out God's glory, to bless others, to become a blessing to others! Today, many testimonies are about: I was healed, I was blessed. But if you do not have MingdingDestiny, you are still outside the door of the Gospel.

I once served a Christian who was struggling to find a job. I kept counseling him, teaching him step by step. Later, I adjusted his career path. He got a master's degree and found a job. As a result, he left the church. During that time, he told me: I think my spiritual life is pretty good because I am so blessed in my job, health and family. He was completely wrong. The devil can give you these things too. Don't assume that healing is only found in Christianity. The devil can also heal people.

But where is the key? What is the difference between Christianity and other religions? The difference is that Christianity tells you why people live. Living is not just about living and then dying, ending up in hell, separated from God. What good is that? If you cannot answer the question of why people live, you cannot truly have faith! Hard work can earn money, but it cannot withstand disaster. If everyone is selfish and only cares about themselves, the earth will become desolate. What good is that to anyone? The world needs a group of people to take on God's MingdingDestiny.

The Israelites drew near to God daily, but deep down they were selfish. They did not know why they were living. They were living like scoundrels! Even when they came to church, they only thought about receiving blessings. Every time, I talk about MingdingDestiny, from sermons to Bible studies, from chats to teachings. But many still do not understand, still only care about themselves and do not bless others. You don't have to bless anyone, but disaster will surely befall you. What is the point of drawing near to God? A person with selfish motives, even when drawing near to God, is doing it for selfish reasons. If you threaten their core interests, they will turn against you!

Behold, ye fast for strife and debate, and to smite with the fist of wickedness: ye shall not fast as ye do this day, to make your voice to be heard on high. Is it such a fast that I have chosen? a day for a man to afflict his soul? is it to bow down his head as a bulrush, and to spread sackcloth and ashes under him? wilt thou call this a fast, and an acceptable day to the Lord? (Isaiah 58:4-5).

Today, many Christians come to church with selfish motives and ask: Why should I believe? If a person has selfish motives, it is fatal. In Singapore, there is a movement called Family First, but it is not like that in the Bible. We must put God first. We live for God.

That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. We must be strong, restore our faith, and take on MingdingDestiny again. It's not that they haven't experienced blessings, but do they really understand the meaning of life? Have they truly become a blessing to many? We must understand why we live. Does God want us to keep the Sabbath, to fast, just so that we can undo the heavy burdens, let the oppressed go free, and break every yoke? Every time I minister to those who are oppressed by evil spirits, I both love and hate them. I really want to release them from oppression, but they are full of selfish motives, always clinging to selfishness. I am also very saddened.

I used to minister to a sister who had breast cancer. Under my ministry, her breast cancer was basically cured. But at the beginning of the year she stopped coming to church and spent all her time traveling and playing, and the cancer came back. She came back to me again. I led the district pastor of our church to pray for her every day, but later she still left. Without MingdingDestiny, there is no road. What does God want from us? To act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with God. To act justly and love mercy is to release those who are oppressed from oppression and bring them into blessing. How many people today emulate Jesus? I have never seen Jesus throw parties or put on shows at Christmas. Will these things set people free?

My faith is that I do what Jesus did, and I do what Jesus did. This will surely become more and more like Jesus. Today we need to know that you can be healed and delivered in our midst because I understood the meaning of living many years ago. Living is not for making money, nor is it for working. Living is to become a blessing to many. What I seek is for many people to be released and set free. It's not because I'm not living well. Actually, I studied well and worked well.

I think Abraham thought the same way. Abraham saw everyone around him dying one by one and felt that living was meaningless. I am very saddened to see so many people live and die. I am still alive today and can bless others, heal people, and bless people. You must become the light and salt of the world and do what Jesus did.

Wherever You Go, You Can See His Glory

Let's look at Isaiah 61:

The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the poor; he has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound; to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all who mourn; to grant to those who mourn in Zion— to give them a beautiful headdress instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, the garment of praise instead of a faint spirit; that they may be called oaks of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he may be glorified. They shall build up the ancient ruins; they shall raise up the former devastations; they shall repair the ruined cities, the devastations of many generations. Strangers shall stand and feed your flocks; foreigners shall be your plowmen and vinedressers; but you shall be called the priests of the Lord; they shall speak of you as the ministers of our God; (Isaiah 61:1-6).

How well said! To set people free, our God bears our sorrows and curses. The gospel we preach is a gospel that sets people free.

Then shall your light break forth as the morning, and your healing shall spring forth speedily; your righteousness shall go before you; the glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard. Then you shall call, and the Lord will answer; you shall cry, and he will say, Here I am. If you take away the yoke from your midst, the pointing of the finger, and speaking wickedness, (Isaiah 58:8-9).

Seeing God lead us into prosperity, I feel so happy! Recently, in prayer, God gave me a feeling that my eyes were wet! God moved me and said: What you are doing is a church reform that has been going on for generations. This is not easy and you will encounter obstacles. Although there are obstacles, I am very happy because I have brothers and sisters like you running with me on the heavenly road. You will see God's glory as your rear guard, and you will see God's glory wherever you go! Now we can often kill demons in seconds! With one prayer, boom! The devil is killed!

Do you long to be a blessing to many people? Your life should be full of God's glory. You call, and He will answer! 1 Samuel says: Samuel grew, and the Lord was with him and let none of his words fall to the ground. Do you want to be such a person? Be a faithful priest of God, you speak and God will accomplish it, that is working with God! You are the Son of God, holding the key of grace, entering into a great revival. Many people will become pastors!

The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. We need to train a large number of people, re-establish the foundations that have been destroyed for generations, and become priests of God. I wish every brother and sister could see my tears in recent years. Let my tears inspire everyone and turn a void life into a meaningful life. Isn't that the greatest grace? Selfishness is not the way. Even if you receive all the blessings of the world, that is not the way. Be a faithful priest of God, be faithful to death, and you will receive the crown of life. I want to live meaningfully.

When we begin to remove the heavy yoke and serve God, the devil will raise up many people to criticize me and say that I am greedy for money. But, thank God! I was a wealthy man before I served God. But even so, other hats are put on my head. Inside, I long to be Abraham. If I really am Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, in my bones I want to be a blessing to all nations. Then I will not be afraid of being cursed, because God said: I will curse those who curse you.

If you pour yourself out for the hungry and satisfy the desire of the afflicted, then shall your light rise in the darkness and your gloom be as the noonday. And the Lord will guide you continually and satisfy your desire in scorched places and make your bones strong; and you shall be like a watered garden, like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail. (Isaiah 58:10-11).

I wish God would bless everyone. Even if you don't believe what I say, you must believe what I do. Those who do not believe in the people who are released here by God instead believe those corrupt words from the devil. Seeing the afflicted, I often shed tears with them. I remember the suffering that many brothers and sisters have experienced. But do you guide other people's hope and bring people to the hope of Jesus Christ? I give them faith and hope, and then we are no longer gloomy in our hearts, and we are not harmed after experiencing the valley of the shadow of death.

God is Doing the Work of Restoration

And your ancient ruins shall be rebuilt; you shall raise up the foundations of many generations; you shall be called the repairer of the breach, the restorer of streets to dwell in. (Isaiah 58:12).

Look up. Many people in our church came from the local church. How desolate are many churches today! Many prayers cannot be answered. We cannot see the work of God, and the foundation of faith is destroyed. God is doing the work of restoration. Rise up, establish the foundations that have been destroyed for generations, repair the breaches, restore the paths, break the bad habits of knowing good and evil in us, rebuild the foundations of the church, and let us become a blessing to many people. Because of us, God will show kindness to this land. We must rise up and pray.

There is a story that I was very excited after hearing. There was a pastor named Reinhard Bonnke who went to Africa to preach the gospel to millions of people. At that time, God told him: Actually, you are not the first person I was looking for, but the fourth. He asked: Why am I the first? Where did the previous people go? God said: The first one came and said don't go; the second one came and said don't go; the third one came and said don't go. Pastor Bonnke said: You don't need to look for the fifth one, I am the one you are looking for.

I was very inspired after hearing these words. God has been constantly searching on the throne, looking for people like Abraham. In fact, even if there are thousands of Abrahams, that is not too many. God hopes that many people will be raised up to repair the long-abandoned places. The desolation of the church is about to pass, and the era of revival is coming. We must begin to build the glorious church of God, pave the way for the second coming of the Lord Jesus, and re-establish the foundations that have been destroyed for generations.

For thousands of years, the foundation of the church has been built on the knowledge of good and evil. Today we must come out of the knowledge of good and evil, begin to return to the holy mountain of the Lord, begin to ascend the mountain of the Lord, enter the temple of the God of Jacob, and begin to see the beautiful image of God. What an exciting road that is!

To be honest with you, brothers and sisters, when I started serving, many arrows from the devil shot at me, like a hedgehog. But when we start climbing the mountain and reach a certain height, that is, the height where it is no longer I who live, but the Lord Jesus Christ who lives in me (Galatians 2:20), we begin the road to fight the dragon, begin to stage a Heaven Sword and Dragon Sabre, begin to kill the devil in seconds, and begin to see the glory of God. This is just great!

Actually, you don't need to tell me, I know. When God's glory begins to descend, we must put on the cloak of humility. Those who do not have the glory of God, you don't need to put on the cloak of humility. Without glory, there is no power, so what are you being humble about? Actually, you are not qualified to be humble.

We must rise up and continue to build and become a model church for this generation. We must begin to climb constantly, both in spiritual depth and height, and begin to bring people into abundant life. What does the Bible say:

If you turn back your foot from the Sabbath, from doing your pleasure on my holy day, and call the Sabbath a delight and the holy day of the Lord honorable; if you honor it, not going your own ways, or seeking your own pleasure, or talking idly; then you shall take delight in the Lord, (Isaiah 58:13-14).

God's requirements are not very high. Keep the Sabbath, set aside time, and serve this generation. It's that simple, how can you not do it? God is not stopping you from making money. God wants to bless you with money. Aren't there many of us who have come out of poverty because of God? Today, if we rely on God again to rise up and become a blessing to this generation, will God not bless you even more?

and I will make you ride on the heights of the earth; I will feed you with the heritage of Jacob your father, for the mouth of the Lord has spoken. Do you believe this? Our good is not outside of God, but if we only know how to receive good, but do not know how to serve this God, and do not know that serving God is the meaning of our lives, how sad is that! On the surface, we know God, and on the surface, we draw near to God, but in our bones, we are full of selfish things. How can we go on?

Summary

We must make a decision to start letting go of our selfishness. Know that the Lord God is the answer to our lives. Labor and work are not the way to solve our problems; that is a curse. We really must not take pleasure in labor but begin to take pleasure in serving God. Why not try it? Try the dew that God has given, try the taste of living in MingdingDestiny, and try living out God's glory! So Moses called heaven and earth as witnesses, just so that we can know what is God's goodness, what is God's perfect, good, and acceptable will. We need God so much! Let us begin to let go of selfishness and begin to serve God and live out God's MingdingDestiny!

Chapter 59 - God's Arm Has Never Been Shortened

God's arm has never been shortened. What is it that prevents us from seeing the manifestation of God's mighty arm? This is a question worth pondering, knowing that this gospel is the power of God. If the gospel we believe in is not the power of God, we will be dismayed in this world. If you believe in a gospel that cannot save you, you will feel powerless in this world. You still have to work hard like the people of the world to satisfy yourself. I think I would be dismayed if you weren't!

Do not think that believing in a powerless God is a solution to the problem. When we wake up in the morning, there are many things that we need to deal with: water bills, phone bills, rent... If our God cannot solve the problems in our lives, think about how we are going to live our lives. Today, none of the testimonies we share are not the manifestation of God's mighty arm to save us. Because our God is a mighty God, we are not dismayed in this world.

This Gospel is the Gospel of God's Power

Paul said this: My words and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with the power of the Spirit! All of this is the power of God to save everyone who believes! The gospel that Paul preached is definitely not a powerless gospel. But today, many of our churches do not see the power of God. Where is the problem?

In the days of Isaiah, the people at that time could not see the mighty arm of God. They said: Oh, God no longer performs miracles. In fact, God wants His power to be manifested in that era. Look carefully at the Bible, people of faith are performing miracles. Some people will take John as an example, saying that John the Baptist did not perform miracles. John the Baptist's task was to pave the way for Jesus. Do not separate John the Baptist from Jesus Christ. Look carefully at Exodus, it was God's mighty arm that brought the Israelites out of Egypt. They had no freedom in Egypt, they were slaves. No Israelite had freedom, but God rescued them through His mighty arm. If you say that Moses did not count today, let's use Jesus Christ. If Jesus Christ came into the world and he only gave a few sermons, talked about some ambiguous truths; or said very good truths but did not perform any miracles, we would all be dismayed today. In fact, our Jesus Christ spent half of his time performing miracles, saving, freeing the captives, and releasing the oppressed.

The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the poor; he has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound; (Isaiah 61:1).

Everything that Jesus Christ preached was the gospel of power. What Paul preached was a powerful gospel, in the same line as Jesus Christ. Paul said, imitate me, as I imitate Jesus Christ. If you do not believe in these miracles, is it still the gospel? Today we are running on this road, this road is called: the road to restoring biblical truth! Do not think that we have restored all the truths of the Bible. We still have many places that need more restoration. The Spirit of God will lead us into a very vast world, allowing us to learn to know God more through faith and with the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Knowing God is endless, so today our brothers and sisters must begin to understand one thing, you cannot delete miracles! I am saying this today to those who have come to us from traditional churches. What brothers and sisters who come to us from traditional churches often lack is the mighty arm of God.

Yesterday, I was a little sad, and it's still in me this morning. I met a couple who loved the Lord very much, they were in a traditional church. Their fourteen-year-old son got uremia. But what did he say to Brother HF! Brother HF said: We can pray for you, many people are healed by prayer. Then he sent this couple a message from a brother in Australia. This Australian brother's wife had brain cancer. The doctor announced that she had only fifteen days to live and was very weak. I once personally prayed for his wife. This brother told us that his wife has been discharged from the hospital in good health. I still remember the situation at that time. I prayed for his wife, and his wife got off the bed and sat on a stool. Then the doctor saw it and said: How could it be like this? This brother said: A pastor called from Singapore and led me to pray for my wife, and my wife became like this. The doctor said: When will he come to pray for her again? This brother said: I will lead my wife to pray again at seven o'clock tomorrow afternoon. The doctor said: If you lead your wife to pray again, I would like to come and see.

Faith can release God's power! Not just watching, not just copying, this cannot be copied, only those who have faith can release God's power! I also hope that this child with uremia will come out of this, but after the parents of this child heard Brother HF tell this testimony, they only said one sentence: We only believe in doctors, we do not believe in God! It's like believing in miracles is a wrong gospel. Brothers and sisters today, believing in miracles is the pure gospel; if you do not believe in miracles, God will say to you:

Behold, the Lord's hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear. (Isaiah 59:1-2).

Unbelief is a Very Serious Sin

We often think that the word sin is behavior. In fact, sin is not just behavior, it also refers to the unbelief in us. Remember, unbelief is a very serious sin! It hinders God's power. Anyone who hinders

The Root of All Problems Lies in Unbelief

Your hands are stained with blood, your fingers with guilt. Your lips have spoken falsely, and your tongue mutters wicked things. No one calls for justice; no one pleads his case with integrity. They rely on empty pleas, they speak lies; they conceive trouble and give birth to evil. They hatch viper’s eggs and spin a spider’s web. Whoever eats their eggs will die, and when one is broken, an adder is hatched. Their cobwebs are useless for clothing; they cannot cover themselves with what they make. Their deeds are evil deeds, and acts of violence are in their hands. Their feet rush into sin, they are swift to shed innocent blood; their thoughts are evil thoughts, ruin and destruction mark their ways. The way of peace they do not know; there is no justice in their paths. They have turned them into crooked roads; no one who walks in them will know peace. (Isaiah 59:3-8)

When a person does not believe, they exert themselves to protect themselves. Conversely, if you believe that I have a God of the universe who can provide for all my needs in life, who can protect me, heal my diseases, and lead me into abundance, would you still need to lie, speak wicked things, or accuse unjustly? No, because God will provide everything for us. Once you begin to believe that God has a mighty arm to save, you will say: The birds of the air neither sow nor reap, yet our Heavenly Father feeds them. My needs in life are not a problem at all. There is no need to do evil to protect one's own interests because God will protect us, and everything you need is in God. Such a person will certainly not do evil or violence and will have peace. If a person has such thoughts, they will trust in God.

The Pharisees in the time of Jesus did not believe in God, but they served God in the temple to make money. They rented out spaces around the temple to merchants, raising the rent, and selling sacrificial items. A sheep that originally cost a little over a thousand dollars was sold for ten thousand. Many people came seeking God with their problems, and those who offered sacrifices to God did not care about these things. The entire temple worship became an industry chain, and the money ended up in the hands of the Pharisees.

Jesus came, overturned the tables, and drove out those exchanging money and selling doves, saying: “My house will be called a house of prayer,’ but you are making it ‘a den of robbers.’” Why did they turn the temple into a den of robbers? Because they needed money.

We must know that unbelief is a very serious problem that can lead to all kinds of malicious behavior: selfishness and unscrupulous means to protect one's own interests. In the end, they crucified Jesus. Everything that does not come from faith is sin. If we come to God with problems, if you are a person of faith, you can release God’s mighty arm, which will surely save you.

He put on righteousness as his breastplate, and the helmet of salvation on his head; he put on the garments of vengeance and wrapped himself in zeal as in a cloak. According to their deeds, he will repay; wrath for his enemies, retribution for his foes; he will repay the islands their due. (Isaiah 59:17-18)

Our God is very zealous to save us. You must believe that God’s mighty arm is never shortened. In my service, one thing I am proud of is that I firmly believe in God's word. I never believe that people’s diseases cannot be healed. Jesus once said that by his wounds we are healed. Jesus, by what he did on earth, lets us imitate Him, and this will surely release God’s power. Jesus is a model of faith, and all those who please God in the Bible are models of faith. Unbelief is a very serious sin, equivalent to crucifying Jesus again.

Jesus came into the world and continually trained the faith of his disciples. Passing by a fig tree, he spoke a curse, and the disciples saw the tree wither. The fig tree did not deserve such a curse for not bearing fruit; there were many trees that did not bear fruit. Jesus did this to train his disciples to have faith. If you have faith like a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move into the sea,’ and it will be done. Jesus spoke entirely about God’s mighty arm. Jesus Christ is God incarnate who came into the world.

The way of peace they do not know; there is no justice in their paths. They have turned them into crooked roads; no one who walks in them will know peace. (Isaiah 59:8)

I hope that the navigation of your life is guided by the Holy Spirit, not by crooked roads that you create for yourself. If the logical system you follow is not a system of faith and God’s mighty arm, it is very dangerous. I believe in God more than I believe in doctors, but many Christians believe in doctors more than they believe in God. How can God heal them then? Great benefits can be obtained through faith, and God’s mighty arm can be manifested. I lead everyone to walk the path of faith, which solves a big problem in our lives – illness. Medical problems are problems that the whole world cannot solve. No matter how developed science is, there will always be incurable diseases. Cancer and AIDS are among them, and these diseases will be a big problem for us.

A brother's father had a million dollars but was so worried that he couldn't sleep because he had many diseases, each requiring hundreds of thousands of dollars in treatment fees, totaling more than a million. He was worried about what would happen when he got old. People without faith are like this; they don’t know how to live. To be precise, by claiming God’s promises through faith, God’s mighty arm will surely heal us. Those who do not believe cannot know God.

So justice is far from us, and righteousness does not reach us. We look for light, but all is darkness; for brightness, but we walk in deep shadows. Like the blind we grope along the wall, feeling our way like people without eyes. At midday we stumble as if it were twilight; among the strong, we are like the dead. We all growl like bears; we moan mournfully like doves. We look for justice, but find none; for deliverance, but it is far away. (Isaiah 59:9-11)

Sadly, there are many tragedies in traditional faiths. A brother in Singapore had been under oppression for many years. He was very happy after I released him. One of his friends had throat cancer ten years ago, which was cured by chemotherapy, but every time he ate, the food went into his lungs, making it impossible to eat. A hole was made in his stomach, and a tube was inserted. For ten years, he had been injecting liquid food. Ten years later, his wife also developed cancer, and his children were only teenagers, living in sorrow. He came to our church, and I taught him how to believe in the Lord. He said that this was given to him by God, without light or hope. When he returned home, he began to complain to God. This is unbelief.

Without faith, there is no way to know God, see God’s mighty arm, or receive God’s salvation. The arm of the Lord God has never been shortened. I didn’t have faith at first either. When I chose to believe, I told myself that when God laid hands on the sick, they would be healed immediately. If one press doesn’t work, I can press two, three, ten more times... ten thousand times. There will eventually be a day when it works. That is how I believe.

As my service increased, I struck against the powers of darkness step by step. The past year has been a year of instantly killing demons. There will also be some stubborn things, but I will persevere to the end. Today, Sister XX came to us to be delivered. I believe she will definitely be delivered because she is getting better day by day.

We look for justice, but find none; for deliverance, but it is far away. This is a symptom of unbelief. I am amazed by traditional churches, like the parents of children with uremia. They are not bad people, but they lack faith in God. They even think it is given to them by God. Unbelief brings tragedies in life. The problems are so obvious, yet they still hold onto what they believe.

We continue to run forward, starting to restore the original teachings of the Bible. If you feel that any point does not conform to the teachings of God, we can look at it together. I hope our faith becomes more real. This is my heartfelt desire. Our God wants a heart and sincerity.

So justice is driven back, and righteousness stands at a distance; truth has stumbled in the streets, and honesty cannot enter. Truth is nowhere to be found, and whoever shuns evil becomes a prey. (Isaiah 59:14-15)

Why do those who are snatched away by the devil still think it is given by God? If you don’t fight and win, you really can’t realize God’s promises. That day, I told them and their church pastor about our core beliefs, which is to fight and win and receive the promises. Yet they still insist on theirs. If we look for light but find darkness; if we look for brightness but find gloom, and cannot see the light, we must know that we are doing something wrong. If my faith makes people unable to see God’s mighty arm and prevents our faith from being built on the foundation of God’s power, I need to know that I am doing something wrong. I will not insist that airplanes cannot fly or that the Christian faith is powerless. Don’t insist that you are right when you are clearly wrong. We look for justice, but there is no justice; we look for salvation, but salvation is far from us. What is it? It is unbelief. Unbelief will make us prey to the devil. Even if you engrave the word Christian on your forehead, it will be useless.

Without faith, you will become prey. If you read Rick Joyner's The Final Quest carefully, you will understand. Yesterday, I mentioned The Final Quest to a group of Christians from a church, and they had never even heard of this book. I was shocked, but it doesn’t matter as long as they have heard of the Book of Isaiah.

Unbelievers Are Only Concerned About Themselves and Not About the Mission

Is preaching a powerless gospel called salvation? No. Many people live in sorrow. For example, in the Bible, there was a woman with a hunchback who went to the meeting place to worship God and keep the Sabbath. She attended for decades, but no one released her. But when Jesus came into the world and entered the synagogue, he released that hunchbacked woman. The woman with the issue of blood had suffered all kinds of hardships at the hands of doctors, spent all her living, and endured all kinds of sins. When she saw Jesus coming, Jesus did not approve of healing her, yet the power of Jesus flowed from her body and healed her.

No one saves means that no one releases people from bondage; no one intercedes means that no one has the destiny or mission to call on God and release His power. The arm of the Lord has never been shortened, but no one is willing to release God’s power through faith to bring people out of these bondages. I am surprised that there is no one.

In the Old Testament, there was the prophet Elisha, who healed Naaman, the Syrian general, of leprosy. However, so many lepers in Israel were not healed because they did not believe. Elisha was a very famous prophet in Israel. He also ran a school for prophets, but surprisingly, no one believed. No one intercedes, God is very surprised. Do you think God would not be surprised? I am also very surprised that no one is releasing God’s power.

Even if you don’t believe what I say, you must believe what I do. As Jesus said, God has released many people through me, but they would rather believe a false lie than believe that I am a person of faith. I may sin, but I will repent. I may fall, but I will stand up. I may be weak, but I will be strengthened again through God. Because I am a person of faith, I believe that God will save to the end, and I also believe that God will not abandon me.

Brother XQ suffered from obsessive-compulsive disorder. He went online to watch sermons that could not release him or give him faith, and as a result, he became more confused and more condemned. He struggled with the fact that he had blasphemed the Holy Spirit, so he must not be forgiven. The more he watched, the more worried he became. He sent me the sermon and said, Pastor, take a look. I said, Forget it! What’s there to look at? He said that the sermons online proved that blaspheming the Holy Spirit is unforgivable.

Those who pass on this information may be speaking correctly. But what is the problem? There is no release of God’s salvation. I told Brother XQ to put down what he had heard online and prayed for him. The next day, he said he was much better. He could resist the lies of the devil, and he could enter into God’s salvation by faith. Are you willing to walk with me on the road to saving others? To release those who are captives and those who are oppressed. Today, so many of us need to be released, and so many people need to have such a destiny and mission.

No matter which part of the Bible I look at, I often mention mission and destiny, which is to use God’s power to release those who are oppressed. Today, since God has chosen you and me, let us be people of faith. A person of faith can release God’s salvation and power. God will not be so surprised then. What surprises God is: I have such great power, why don’t you rely on me? Therefore, God uses his own arm to bring about salvation. Our God is full of zeal and enthusiasm to bring about salvation.

He saw that there was no justice, and he was displeased. He saw that there was no one to intervene, so his own arm achieved salvation for him, and his own righteousness sustained him. He saw that there was no justice, and he was displeased. He saw that there was no one to intervene, so his own arm achieved salvation for him, and his own righteousness sustained him. (Isaiah 59:16-17)

Are you willing to release the oppressed? Today, so many people need to have such a destiny and mission to release the oppressed. God is a God of great power. When you can’t see God’s power, God will be very surprised. God chooses us to be people of faith, to release God’s salvation and power. But God is surprised: I have such great power, yet you do not rely on me, release power by faith, and bring salvation. Our God brings about salvation through faith and enthusiasm. God will raise up a group of people. Do you tell yourself that we are the people raised up by God to bring about salvation?

Those who are based on faith will be saved, and the righteous will be saved by faith. If a person is based on works, they will be repaid accordingly. Even if they do well, it will not work. But faith can release God’s power and salvation, and release this generation. Do you think it is a selfish motive for a person to believe in the Lord just so that they can go to heaven after death? We believe in the Lord not to go to heaven but to be a blessing. When I read the Bible, I have not found much information about whether or not to go to heaven, at least not often. Our God is the God of the living, not the God of the dead, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

When we are alive, the gospel we preach is not to go to heaven after death. God is looking for people with destiny in the world, looking for what kind of people can release His powerful arm and save people from the power of darkness. Isn’t that right? God’s concern is for the living. The promises that God gives us in Deuteronomy 28:1-13 are so real, aren’t they? The fruit of your womb, the young of your livestock, the crops of your land... you will be blessed in the countryside and blessed in the city, you will be blessed when you come in and blessed when you go out. From beginning to end, I have not read that you will be blessed after death. I read that people experience God when they are alive, and when people are alive, they become vessels used by God to bless this generation, God will make your name great and make you a great nation and make your descendants as numerous as the sand on the seashore and the stars in the sky.

What God wants is not for you to go to heaven after death. What God wants is for you to go to all nations and bring all nations into the kingdom of Jesus Christ, to become disciples of Jesus Christ. That is the Great Commission. It is not to preach a gospel to these people, pull a person into the religion, and then make them a son of hell but to pull a person in and make them a person of faith and a person of destiny, so that they can release God’s power and bring salvation in the world. So faith is the key!

When I first started pastoring, I often prayed and often asked God, what is pastoring? Later, God revealed to me that pastoring is building people’s faith in God, which is how Jesus Christ pastored God’s sheep on earth.

What Do We Believe In

Today, brothers and sisters, we must know exactly what we believe in. We must believe that even if no one intercedes, God will still save and will save those who have faith to the end. We begin to learn to believe that God will save to the end. If you read it carefully, you will know that when no one saves or intercedes, God is very surprised and uses His own arm to bring about salvation.

He upholds himself with righteousness, puts on righteousness as his breastplate, and the helmet of salvation on his head, puts on the garments of vengeance, and wraps himself in zeal as in a cloak. God will give His son Jesus Christ to bear our sins and carry all our sorrows and pains. By his wounds we are healed, and by his punishment we have peace. That is a path of peace, that is a path of healing, and that is a path of salvation. God’s salvation is definitely not a path to heaven but to obtain His promises in the world.

So shall they fear the name of the Lord from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun; for he will come like a rushing stream, which the wind of the Lord drives. “The Redeemer will come to Zion, to those in Jacob who turn away from transgression,” declares the Lord. (Isaiah 59:19-20)

God will take the initiative to do this. So shall they fear the name of the Lord from the west, do you see that? If God uses his powerful arm to bring salvation, people will fear his name. I believe that in the days to come, many people will follow me to believe in the Lord. I am very confident. My friend who hosted me in Hangzhou has already one leg in, and just needs a little pull to get in completely. Why? Because he saw the miracles that God performed through my hands, and he felt that the pastor’s God was too powerful.

So they shall fear the name of the Lord from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. Do you understand? For he will come like a rushing stream, which the wind of the Lord drives. The enemy is like a flood that is washed away. I think when God’s power is manifested among us, we will completely drive out these demons, and people will be released.

What does verse 20 say? The Redeemer will come to Zion, to those in Jacob who turn away from transgression,” declares the Lord. Do you know what the Jacob's family mean? Jacob was a man of faith. He was born as the second son, not the firstborn. He believed that the birthright must be reversed. The faith is what he had. I also admire such people. Living to 75 years old, he finally received his father's blessing for the firstborn. That is faith, that is a person of faith.

So today you and I begin to become the family of Jacob, because the people are Jacob and the God are Jacob's god. Jacob's God is looking for people like Jacob. They began being works-based, and then entering faith-based. Entering faith-based is part of the Jacob's family. Then the Redeemer will surely come. Where to? To whom does he imitate? We imitate Jacob. What is it that they are imitating? Jacob is about to obtain order.

Therefore the Spirit of God came upon us from where? Not a lot of churches, in fact, they miss a very critical step. Peter and John heard the Sumalitans that believed in the Lord. Then ask them again, are you baptised by the holy spirit? When in this age, the Peter-John Apostles would ask, were you baptised?, do you belief in the Lord, are you repent?, Were you baptised by the holy spirit? They asked because a man who does not have God's anointing are very weak.

Today we have become very strong as only god will. It only works for god. Believe and wash in his name, you will obtain the spirit.

In bible it also state Peter placed their hands and prays. the same as paul. as stated in the acts, why they weak when the spirit, it destroys enemy. Our trust in in him.

Get rid of believing , and faith in god to be stronger. it is not just God needs you. and being an awesome member of the world together as God's grace.

Away from disbelief, release God's power through your faith and bring salvation. It is not that God needs you and me. In fact, without you and me, God would still bring salvation. But since God has chosen us, let us become usable vessels in his hands and work with God, so that we can manifest God's glory in this world through our lives. What a glorious destiny and grace! So brothers and sisters, you must know that faith is very important. If someone releases a lie, even if he is a prophet, discard the prophet if he destroys your faith. We must begin to turn back to God and become a blessing for this generation. This is what I am calling everyone to do because God is looking for such people to work with him.
