【Living Abundantly】Cultivating Observational Skills

2016-10-30 3,145 Y133 Course - Living Abundantly

Spiritual Principles in the Bible:

What you see is yours; what you do not see is simply not yours.

The matter of observation is very interesting. Some people's eyes can see problems, while others see nothing at all. An old man was dying, and before he died, he called his three sons to his bedside and said: Each of you ride a horse and run a lap around my estate and come back. After the three sons returned, the old man asked them: Eldest son, what did you see? The eldest son said: I see it every day, just those things, nothing to see. The second son said: I also only saw that little bit of something, nothing to see. The third son said: I saw a forest over there and a pond over there. Dad, I think that forest can be made into a lumberyard in the future, and that pond can be used for fish farming. This place can be changed like this, rebuilt like this. Then the old man said: Good, I am about to die, this estate is all yours. The other two sons asked: Why don't we have any? The old man said: You saw nothing, so you have nothing!

The Importance of What the Eyes See

Although this is just a story, it represents a concept: that we must adjust ourselves. Today we must understand that what your eyes see is very important. For example, there is a bookshelf at the entrance of our church, and the books on it are quite messy. That day when I came back from outside, I said: Who organized this bookshelf? It's so clean, so orderly. It turned out that Sister JN organized it. I was very moved. When thanking JN, I asked her: How did you think of organizing the bookshelf?

Sister JN said: When I saw the bookshelf outside, I thought it was very messy, and I wanted to tidy it up.

I was very surprised. Many brothers and sisters come to the church every day, and they also walk back and forth past the bookshelf, but they didn't care, didn't take it seriously. I asked JN again: How can you see it? She said: Because I saw it at a glance. My own home is also quite clean, and I tidy it up at any time. Saw it at a glance? Is this a natural observation? What about those who didn't see it?

Today, let's try to challenge everyone: Please think about what you see in your home, work, life, and church right now. Some brothers and sisters look around and tidy up, cleaning up their own space. Some people see messy things but don't care, don't see anything.

Sister JY: That's right. There are many like that in our company. Many people just walk back and forth, and they can tidy up easily, but they don't see it. As I get older, I often see it. I work for God. So often when I come, the environment is cleaner.

Now please think about what things in your life have you noticed now that you didn't notice before. Eyesight needs to be trained. Today I want to organize the bookshelf and tidy up the house. I think these are the keys to people practicing their eyesight. Let's say today you came to church from home. What did you see along the way? We are sitting on this virtual stage today, and there will be such a result because the eyes saw it, that's why it exists. If your eyes don't see it, you will just keep sitting there.

You Cannot Obtain What You Do Not See

So today we are going to talk about what you have all seen? For example, the progress on your own body. You cannot obtain what you do not see.

Sister WH shared: In our company cafeteria, if you order a bowl of noodles and you walk away for a while, they will give that bowl of noodles to someone else, and you have to wait more than ten minutes. At first, when I encountered this situation, I felt that why should I wait more than ten minutes for nothing? Later, I found that the aunt didn't remember people's faces at all. After the person who ordered the meal left for a while, and the next person came to order noodles, she would give the bowl of noodles directly to the next person, so it was very chaotic. Later, I observed for a few days and found that many people had encountered the same problem as me, so I gave the aunt a suggestion, saying: Auntie, when we come to order food, can we give each person a number so as to avoid confusion?

In fact, such a problem is a common problem in catering services. Queuing and reminding guests to pick up their meals according to the number is a good method.

亚丽 shared: In the dormitory, the sink is particularly dirty, or the trash can is full and about to overflow, and no one will wipe it or change it. In this case, I will clean it up, but after a long time like this, the other roommates can't see it. So, I made a dormitory rule, let everyone sign it, and posted it on the door, and then everyone began to develop the habit of doing it.

When we are in the company, there is a bucket of water next to us. When there is no water, the company's colleagues are unwilling to change it. The boys are unwilling to change it, and the girls change it.

After doing these things, do you feel like you are missing a piece of meat? No. This is really something that can be done easily, just a few minutes, a few seconds, you can do it.

Sister YX shared: In my usual work, I will see some people who are very insightful and know how to do things. I have a colleague who is very good at handling things, and everyone is a little jealous. I like people who are good at handling things, so I let him be in the same office with me. I have to mop the floor by myself every day when I am in the room alone. When he comes to my office, he mops the floor very well every day and tidies it up very cleanly. But some people have no eyesight and don't know what to do.

Everyone likes people who have eyesight and know how to do things.

How to Train Eyesight?

Next, I want to ask a question: Can eyesight be trained? Can it be trained? How to train it? ------ Of course it can. Eyesight can be cultivated the day after tomorrow.

Sister JN: Actually, when I was a child, my language teacher often said that my eyesight was not good, and I couldn't see many things. From elementary school, my language teacher taught me to observe more. When I was a little more sensible, once my father told me something. He could see what his employees were doing. For example, a trash can was already full of trash, but there were still employees who kept throwing trash on it, and no one cared. But he also saw that every time there was an employee who poured out all this trash.

In fact, it's not your business and you do it, that's really considered a good employee. The trash can is full, can't he see it? In fact, he can see it, but he thinks this is not his business and has nothing to do with him. This is because the eyes are not blind, but the mind is blind.

So how do we train our eyesight today?

Sister KX shared: I have an older sister who doesn't do anything. Her clothes, shoes, etc. are all piled up in the sink, but she doesn't care about it. I think it's really disgusting to put it there, so I went to wash it. Later, I often told my sister that you must wash it, but she didn't change it. When she went to college, she began to change, because after going to college, no one would help her with these things. Last time I went back, I found that her habits had changed for the better. Habits can all be changed.

Eyesight, also called the problems seen in the eyes, is practiced step by step. You are all only children. Only children are pampered at home, but some people learn to see things, and some people can't see things.

Sister LY shared: Some time ago, I asked the pastor to help me write a work evaluation report. At that time, the pastor mentioned that in the company, things that you shouldn't do, but you do, should be summarized. At that time, I thought there was nothing that I shouldn't do, but I did it. After the pastor brought this up, I paid special attention to what things were outside of my work, that I shouldn't have done, but I did. When I paid attention to these things, I found that I had done a lot more. Doing these things, I feel that there will be improvements in my character, work ability, and my own performance, which is also a cumulative process.

I think we can change this habit of observation. In fact, Sister LY is starting to implement it in this place, which proves one thing: Everything can be trained. The question is, will you develop this habit after training? I have a habit, I can't stand chaos, so my eyes are always looking, and I find that there is a problem here. I turn around and pick up my electric drill, and then hang things up and make them orderly, and nothing is delayed.

Sister XF shared: I am in the clothing industry, and display is closely related to our sales. For example, if you display it well, customers can see it, and sales performance will go up. When I take over this store, when I come, I will observe the display of the store, the state of the employees, including the structure of the scene, and then find out the problem, what is going on. When I am in the process of observation, for example, some displays, obviously some patterned clothes are really good-looking, but the employees will fold them up and put them on very high shelves so that customers can't even touch them. So when I see such things, I will replace them with other clothes and hang them in the most conspicuous place. So often after changing like this, my performance will go up, and my products will sell very quickly.

Why is Sister XF a Top Sales? Because she discovered the problem, immediately solved it through her observation, which is very helpful for work. For example, the warehouse, she will also re-observe. Why do her employees spend a lot of time to find the goods when they go in to pick up the goods? So she will re-adjust it. For example, the pants or shirts that are usually sold the most and that customers buy the most, she will definitely adjust the position in the warehouse and put the pants or shirts near the door, so that when employees push the door open, they can directly go to get what they want. This is trained in her work, seeing the problem, then thinking, and then solving it.

All the land that you see I will give to you and to your offspring forever. (Genesis 13:15)

I think there is a description in the Bible that brings out a spiritual principle: What you see is yours; what you do not see is simply not yours. If everything you see is good, you will get all the good; if everything you see is bad, you will get all the bad.

People's vision is very important. A few days ago, Brother HF was ministering to a sister whose eyes were red and swollen, which was very painful. She came to Brother HF for ministry, and Brother HF said: Everything you see is bad, so your eyes are swollen. Can you change your mind? She said: Okay, I will change my mind. After praying, her eyes returned to normal all at once. That is to say, in the entire spiritual principle, actually everything you see is yours. If what you see is good, then it is yours; if what you see is bad, it is also yours. For example, an employee sees a trash can full: How annoying, no one pours it. What do you see? See the bad. Another employee comes and says, oh, the cleaner should not have seen it, or she is busy with other things. Clean it up, put a clean bag, and then start working. Seeing that the trash can is full or not full, or as Sister XF said, seeing the arrangement of clothes, whether it is in line with the concept of sales, or not in line with the concept of sales, all depends on your vision.

As a pastor, I really need our district pastors and cell group leaders to see the sheep you are pastoring, which area of their lives is their growth point. I need you to observe. Because when I observe it myself, I find that everyone has his or her growth point, or this is the growth point this month, and change him to another growth point next month, because the key to a person's life lies in growth. If you can't see it, how can you pastor them? So you have to learn to observe. Don't think that if you don't observe, or you can't see it, you have nothing to do. You get nothing from what you can't see. Not seeing is better than seeing bad things.

If everything you see is good, is an opportunity, then you are great. Why does a person remain the same even at the age of fifty? Because his eyes can't see it. A person can be promoted all the way to the age of fifty. He is three or five times the salary of other colleagues ten years ago. Do you want it? Some people see the salary, and some people see the opportunity. Some people understand the structure of the salary very clearly. But he can't get it. He can't get the salary, because what he sees is not something that creates value.

I think if what your eyes see is a seed, it will grow. If what your eyes see is bread, then the bread is gone after eating it. So today we must train ourselves, train the brothers and sisters in our church, to have this kind of eyesight. How to train people's eyesight? I have summarized seven principles.

Principle 1: Seeing the Good in Everything

This is the beginning of training your eye – to see the good in everything. I ask you: what do you see in an economic crisis? Oh no, economic crisis, we are finished, we are doomed. What do you see? An economic crisis is an opportunity for transformation. If you have a bad boss, what do you see? You learn lessons from him, correct? Then you record them. If you were the boss, how should you act? You would not make the same mistakes he made. Do you get it? You gain something. If you only complain when you see a bad boss, then you gain nothing. You see the bad, and you gain the bad. When you become a boss in the future, you will be just like him.

If you have a bad cell group leader, or a bad pastoral leader, what do you see? When you see a bad leader, can you cooperate with him? What happens if you cooperate with a good leader? It will be even better. If you can cooperate even with a bad leader, it proves that your inner ability is very strong. So if you want to train your observation skills, do not train them like Cain, do you understand? Cain also had observation skills, but his observation skills were useless. All he observed was that people wanted to kill him, which was terrible. So what should observation skills observe? They should observe the power to transform your life and growth! Any bad thing you encounter, if it can become the driving force for your life's growth, then it is good.

When Joseph went to be a slave, what did he see? He saw God's promise. He saw that God would send him to Egypt in advance to be the savior of his family. That requires faith. If you see the good in everything, I tell you, this is one of the most important principles – the beginning of observation skills. Does everyone have the habit of taking notes? Develop the habit of taking notes, write down what you observe immediately, then reflect, and then start to think about how to do it. When you see emptiness and chaos, darkness over the surface of the deep, and a chaotic scene, what do you see? You see opportunity.

All sales courses will talk about this matter. A salesperson's ability lies in his ability to observe his sales points and selling points. A shoe factory in England and one in America each sent a salesperson to a small island in Mauritius. As a result, the British salesperson saw that the people in this place did not wear shoes, so he wrote a letter to the British company saying: the people in this place do not wear shoes, so our shoes cannot have a market here. The American salesperson wrote a letter to his company, saying: the people in this place do not wear shoes, if we can occupy this market, the market potential is very large. Later, the American salesperson gave a pair of shoes to the chief. As soon as the chief put on the shoes, everyone on the island felt that wearing shoes was good, and later wearing shoes became fashionable.

In the days when I was in university, if you were drinking a bottle of Coca-Cola, you were drinking America, which was very symbolic. But you would know that this is an opportunity. So today, many beverage companies in China are the most profitable. In Singapore, all the coffee shops and food courts that sell drinks are owned by the boss of the shop. The boss of the food court sells drinks himself. Why? Because selling drinks is the most profitable.

Eye-training must start from the darkness over the surface of the deep and emptiness and chaos. When you enter a place and see that many things are chaotic, if the first thing you think of is who made such a mess, you have no opportunity. The second thing you see, if you say this place is so messy, then you start to ponder and think about how to clean up this place. How did our church get to where it is today? It got here by improving a little bit every day. In other words, you cannot duplicate this soft power. Anyone can learn it, but they cannot duplicate it. Why can't they duplicate it? Because it has been built up step by step. If you want to build such a church, you must start by changing your eyes.

In the early days of the church, in a state of emptiness and chaos, I saw opportunity, I saw a glorious church of God. So I changed it a little bit every day. Everyone can see the drums and the keyboard on the stage. These were just changed not long ago. Why change them? I saw that something was not right. Many people may not see it. I sold our drums. Brother HF even asked me: who bought them? They are so stupid. When I bought them, they were less than a thousand dollars. I sold them for six hundred. I used them for so many years. Why? Eyesight, vision, you really have to train it. What do you see? What you see determines everything.

Today I tell everyone, what have I seen recently? Some time ago, my mind was confused. When I thought about so many full-time staff coming in, the church had to have money. How terrifying it is when that thought comes in! In a short period of time, I woke up: it is more blessed to give than to receive. If my eyes see money, I am in trouble. The money will not come again. If my eyes see that I want to be a blessing to all nations on earth, then money is not a problem, do you believe it? I immediately changed the merchandise section of my website to free gifts. We have many free things here; we give them all away. We bless you, no problem.

Today our mindset must change. I ask you, how does Google make money? Their things are all free to use. How do Baidu and Tencent make money? Tencent group video stopped charging after a period of time. Do you know why? I ask you: will the church be rich? The church will definitely be rich. So how does the church make money? Everything is free. How can the church be rich? This is something people do not understand. The church is a place to release blessings. Your vision, what do you see? To this day, many people do not have the vision of Baidu and Google. Do you understand? See the good in everything, this is the first point.

Principle 2: Standing Higher, Seeing Further

I tell you, the thing that people value most is seeing very short-term. What is the difference between taking out the trash and not taking out the trash? But if you look further, it will be different. You stand higher, you see further. God took Abraham outside and had him look up at the stars. Are the stars far away? They are very far away. If you do not see far enough, you cannot have observation skills. A short-sighted person does not have observation skills, do you understand? That is why I started to constantly improve the church a little bit every day, improving it to this day. I see far. If you believe in eternity, I always see into eternity. What do I see? I see God putting a crown of glory on my head. That is what I yearn for. So God had Abraham stand in that place and look around, seeing everything was his. Then He had him look up to the sky, seeing the stars in the sky, and then He said: your descendants will be as numerous as the stars in the sky. Wow, that is really incredible!

How far you see determines the strength of your observation skills. If you can see the future of the stock market at a glance, will you be poor? You will not be poor. The problem is whether you have that vision. Decades ago, when Bill Gates was starting Microsoft, he gave company employees stock. There was an old lady who cleaned the company. She just casually collected some stock. Not many years later, she became a millionaire. Some people did not have that vision. They felt that Microsoft was not as strong as IBM, so they went to IBM. Later, after decades at IBM, they are still the same. They have no vision; they do not see far enough.

If you had invested in Google when it first started, how much would you have earned today? A hundred times! Eighteen years ago, if you invested in Alibaba, you would be amazing today. Everyone should take a closer look, your investment vision is good. You are willing to invest your life in God's kingdom, building it through a church like ours. With faith, I say that you have vision.

See further, stand higher. Some people are really LOW. Look at the things they are petty about. I see some people and they are really pitiful. Their state of short-sightedness, what are they petty about? They are petty about what is right in front of them. A few days ago, I ministered to a sister among us. She said: Pastor, someone wants to give my husband a job, I don't know how to make a decision? I said: sister, just forget about your husband, because he is a person without vision. Can you become a person with vision and become the pillar of your family? If you become the pillar of your family, your children will also be blessed because of you. The problem is that her husband does not know that. He is always idle and kicks her out of groups.

So today I encourage our brothers and sisters, you must become a person with vision no matter what. Do not count on others to have vision. If you have vision, you will become the pillar of your family. If Sister LY continues to be trained in our church and continues to walk, what will happen? If Sister KX continues to be trained in our church and continues to walk, what will happen? They will be very powerful, incredible! So can we stand higher and see further today? Look out ten or twenty years at a glance, and then run straight towards your goal. I absolutely have this confidence in building the church.

I am now thinking about how to train people's learning ability? How to train people's work ability? If you do not have work ability, your work ability will double when you come among us. If you do not have learning ability, your learning ability will double among us. Think about how amazing this church is! Then everything that our church does in the future will be a naturally evangelistic church. Yesterday, Brother CW told me that his father is a school principal. He is exploring the cultivation of learning ability, so he is discussing it with his father. His father likes to share with him very much, so he becomes a natural evangelist. Because we do many such things, we teach children how to be children; we teach mothers how to be mothers; we teach mothers how to have vision; we teach children how to have vision. Think about how these people will turn out in the future? It is incredible! Stand higher, see further.

Principle 3: Seeing Through Things

What does it mean to see through things? Do not look at the surface, look at the essence. It is very important to go from the phenomenon to the essence. Principle 1 is to see opportunity from chaos; Principle 2 is to see the future from the present; Principle 3 is to see the essence from the phenomenon, to see through things a little bit. If you cannot see the essence of things, it is not okay. If you cannot see the essence, you must see the essence of learning, the essence of work, and even the essence of taking out the trash. People must see the essence of living. What does the church do? The church understands the essence of how people live. Do you think you can live badly? No one, nothing, can change God's plan for your life. This is what we learn again and again in the Bible.

See the essence. Do you know what the Bible says? The spiritual person judges all things, but is himself to be judged by no one (1 Corinthians 2:15). So this seeing through things must stand at a spiritual height to see. If you see through this matter of people living well (such as character shaping), the problem is not solved by taking out the trash. It is that there is a kind of character in his bones. He knows what he is doing when he does this thing. He sees the essence.

I once trained a young man. Later, his wife persecuted him, and he stopped believing and returned to his country. When he came among us, he earned 1,800 a month, which was actually a miserable state. The young man was very interesting. After coming here, he was taught in the church, and he was also very teachable: he arrived at the company early every morning to clean. Suddenly one day his boss changed the salary structure. What is the salary structure? It is to see how much work you do, and each job has a label. This is a three-hour job, this is a five-hour job, this is a ten-hour job labeling. How much do you do, how much do you get? As a result, he did three months of work in one month, and others did one month of work in one month, because he did work so fast. Others did not understand the situation. They felt that his sweeping in the morning could bring performance, so they all rushed to sweep. He stopped sweeping and went to check how well they swept. Will performance increase? No, because sweeping is not the key. Sweeping is just a phenomenon. You have to grasp the essence inside. Why? Because he has the concept of it is more blessed to give than to receive (Acts 20:35), so God blesses him, and he gets three times the salary of others. Many people do not understand this situation.

For example, Sister LL, her income is also high. Some people cannot see this appearance clearly. Do not think that she suffers when she gets up late at night to serve. Does she suffer? She does not suffer. I have not seen her break down either. So you must see the essence from the superficial things, the phenomenon. That is called observation skills. You must use your brain to think from the phenomenon to the essence. If your brain does not think, it will be terrible.

Principle Four: See More Clearly

In my ministry, I hold the concept of moving from vagueness to clarity. Observation takes time. Take this studio, for example. Today, we see it all well, feel comfortable. Where did this come from? From a vague concept to a clear concept, that is the essence of observation. See more clearly; the vision of a glorious church always begins vaguely.

Do you know what困扰us most when we read the prophetic books? The things the prophets saw were all scattered, pieced together, and then written down; all vague. How could someone two thousand years ago see two thousand years into the future, or Abraham four thousand years ago see today? Vaguely. Even the Book of Revelation written by old John contains vaguely seen things. He didn't know what he was seeing. What was it? He saw something like a torch, with fire on its tail, falling from the sky. After it fell from the sky, an explosion occurred on the ground, like a fireball. What was that? An atomic bomb!

I believe in moving from vagueness to clarity. Don't give up when things are模糊. If you give up when things are模糊, you'll end up with nothing. In fact, moving from something vague to something clear is a process. When you see something vague, dig into it. When I first researched career planning, like when I trained TX brother to write resumes, I invested a lot of time and energy. At that time, this thing was very vague. I couldn't figure out what career planning was all about. It was very difficult at the time. I accumulated little by little, and then it became clearer and clearer. So that was it. Now, if you ask me to explain career planning with my eyes closed, I can tell you clearly. So, moving from vagueness to clarity is called observation. This observation grows step by step.

So today, brothers and sisters, don't be afraid when you see things模糊. Exercise your observation, which takes time to form a habit. For example, I put a lot of effort into our church, even this small place. I pondered over that control panel for a long time, how to set those things up. It's all a manifestation of observation. For example, we have that drum, and I needed a架子. Where did that架子come from? it didn't fly in, it didn't fall from the sky. In my mind, I was thinking, if I were to design a架子myself, what would it look like? I thought and strolled around, and suddenly I found a store selling something. In fact, that thing was not for drums at all. If I bought this thing back and installed it, the effect would be very good. After buying it back and installing it, the effect was really very good. It’s moving from vagueness to clarity. This kind of concept is actually quite a lot. I talked about innovation last week, and innovation requires observation.

Principle Five: Pass On More

Pass on more. Don't just闭门造车. Pass on more, which is called from others to yourself. Why bother if others have already observed it well? Pass on more. For example, reading. CW brother recently put together an article about doing the questions you can do, and the more you learn, the better. He summarized a learning experience from others. Observation from others is very important. For example, when I was in school, my teacher wrote chalk on the blackboard in front, and he wrote on it, and I traced it below. At first, my tracing was very ugly, but today I don't think my writing is ugly. Do you know what ability I have? That is, there is no grid on the white paper, and the words I write are as straight as if there are grids. Where did they come from? Learned from others. Some people say it doesn’t matter if there are grids or no grids, what is written is not in the grids. You must remember this concept in your heart. How much of what you created yourself is actually very little. We must inherit. What you learned in elementary school, what you learned in middle school, what you learned from everyone, are all things that others have done, and you are learning. In fact, in this world, if you can learn everything that others have done, you will be great.

So inheritance is not inheriting a little bit, but inheriting a lot. Start observing from others, what is there in others. Do you know what is the best way to inherit this thing from others? The best way is to read. When you read, you are actually learning from that person. You don't consume that person's resources, and you can still learn things from that person, which is a great deal. In fact, it is worthwhile to spend ten or twenty dollars to buy a book. After buying it, read it carefully.

From Rick Joyner, in the process of learning, I found that observing what they do is particularly useful and important. So today, I think we must learn to inherit. A person who cannot learn to inherit is very sad. Let me boast a little bit. If those in their twenties among us can inherit everything from me, then they will be very powerful. For example, LY sister, she is going to hand in her report. How I taught her how to write her report is vastly different from her瞎整. The things she整 herself has no思路. I have written reports for so many years, and if I pass on so many years of experience to her, that would be great.

So today, we must learn that this observation is passed down from others. He observes in this way, and we also observe in this way. How is God’s vision, so is your vision. That’s great! Observing with God is having the same vision as God, having the same mind and thoughts as God. It is very difficult for us to change a person’s mind and thoughts today. Why? Because he always thinks that his own set is the best, and he is the most advanced level in the world. You can’t say him, if you say him, it hurts his self-esteem too much. How stupid is that!

So today, let’s start, inherit more of these. I wish I could pass on all that I have to our brothers and sisters. Especially the ability to observe, the ability to observe is very important, learn more and inherit more.

Principle Six: Do More

Eyes look, often look wrong. A person wrote ten lines of code and there were more than twenty bugs. He adjusted those ten lines of code for more than a month. Why? He doesn’t do it often, so when he does it, it’s all wrong. Writing is like this, you must go from groping to seeing. If you don’t grope, you can’t produce seeing. What is seeing? There is a word in English called see, look, these are not the best. What is observation? Insight, you洞察to the thing inside. The thing inside must go from groping to seeing. What is groping? Do. I have groped in this studio for a long time, and even today I still have some problems that have not been solved, but solving these problems requires a lot of groping.

A person slaps his head and thinks the program should be written like this, and then writes it according to what he slapped his head out of, and what is written is definitely not the same. Because thinking is one thing, and doing it is another. You slap your head and think that the plane should be built like this, but the one you built can fly strange. Because after decades of scientific research by the Chinese people, continuous failures, I don’t know how many planes crashed, and continuous scientific research, we have achieved today. Let’s not talk about anything else, just sweeping the floor, if you don’t do it, you can’t have observation. You observe and feel that this thing should be done this way, so you try it, and after you do it, you will know whether it works or not.

The reason why I pushed Rick Joyner’s things to such a high position is because after I took his things and practiced them, they were very good, so this is called doing more. After you practice, you will see in the groping, and you will learn from the mistakes. It doesn’t matter if there is a bug in writing a program, because you haven’t figured it out. For example, doing teacher, PL sister was exhausted when she first became a teacher, and the students couldn’t handle it, but now she has become an excellent teacher. Later I asked PL sister, what materials can you learn, she read a book written by a very famous teacher named Wei Shusheng, and then she groped according to what he wrote. Groping and groping, I know that being a teacher should be done this way, this is called insight, and you have observation.

Constantly improve, and you will see things differently when you stand at different heights. The same is true for doing sales. If you are a store manager, you constantly observe and constantly grope, and you will know how things are. We do network marketing, and the church also needs marketing. If the church doesn’t do marketing, how will others know? A good wine fears no deep alley, that era has passed, that was the era of poor days. In today’s generation, if you are looking for a product on Taobao, there are dozens or hundreds of them. Do more, and learn in the groping to have observation.

Principle Seven: Thirst More

Principles one and seven are the two most important principles. The first principle is that everything you see is good. The seventh principle is called thirst, thirst more. If you don’t thirst, you won’t get anything. If you don’t thirst, how can you gain observation? It is impossible to gain.

What do you thirst for? Thirst for growth. Why did Jesus use parables? Because telling parables to those who thirst, those who thirst will explore. This is what the parable means (Matthew 13:10-15). For example, Jesus said that the kingdom of heaven is like a man casting a net. When he pulls the net up, he picks the good ones into vessels and throws away the bad ones (Matthew 13:47-48). What does this mean? Then you slowly figure it out and understand that building a church means keeping the good ones in the church and discarding the bad ones. So, you start learning and start having observation, observing that this is the way it is. So, thirsting more is called from the inside to the outside. You start from the inside, so if you want to change things inside, you have to change everything. Where does the change come from? Change from the heart. If the heart does not change, it is really troublesome.

Summary

The first point is that everything you see is good, which is the beginning of observation; the second point is to stand higher and see farther; the third point is to see through; the fourth point is to see clearly; the fifth is to inherit a little; the sixth is to do more; and the seventh is to thirst more. You will get as much as you thirst for. This is the essence of observation.

Why are the eyes so important? Through a person’s eyes, you can see his spiritual condition. The eyes are the window to the soul. You look at a person’s eyes and you will know. I see the results of some brothers and sisters being released. In fact, they don’t need to tell me. I know by looking at the reaction in their eyes. People with scattered eyes have a spirit of death; people with bright and focused eyes, people who can focus very well, are people who are very clear in spirit. So you will slowly start to see that the eyes are the window to the soul.

If you cultivate your observation, start cultivating the eyes of an eagle, and then see the future with faith. The eyes of an eagle are the eyes of an eagle, and the eyes of a sparrow are the eyes of a sparrow. So Chen Sheng and Wu Guang said: How can a swallow know the ambition of a swan? Insight and observation start from a person’s ambition. You start to have that kind of eagle-like desire inside, to fly high, see far, and see accurately. An eagle’s eyes are particularly sharp. At a height of several hundred meters or thousands of meters in the air, if there is a mouse on the ground, it immediately locks onto the target, dives down, and the mouse will enter the eagle’s belly. This is the eagle, the eagle is very powerful, that vision is very sharp and very敏锐. So in Rick Joyner’s book, eagles are described as prophets. Eagles have the gift of prophecy (The Final Quest, Chapter 1). The eyes see very far. So today, brothers and sisters, start to restore the faith inside you, because you are children of God, and you must have the eyes of an eagle. Children of God, see far, see high, see deep, and see clearly, see the essence of things.
