The Key to an Extraordinary Life: Stability

Let me start with an analogy of taking an airplane. Taking a plane is a wonderful thing, and it has several characteristics that can be compared to a person. The first is stability. If a plane is buffeted by the wind, wavering and unsteady, would you dare to fly in it? I certainly wouldn't. Similarly, a person's ability to resist interference is a core indicator of their character. This indicator is as crucial as an airplane's stability. Where does this stability come from? As someone who works with aviation control systems, I've observed that when sitting by the window of a plane, you can see the flaps on the wings. Though you can't see the tail, the stabilizers are constantly adjusting. The stronger the wind's interference, the faster they adjust. Why is it able to maintain stability? Because there is continuous adjustment within, which is called a control system. Thus, a person's stability or ability to resist interference is a core competence. Where does this ability to resist interference come from?

Confidence Determines One's Ability to Resist Interference

The ability to resist interference comes from confidence. A person without confidence is constantly floating, and at the slightest breeze, they nosedive, resulting in a devastating crash. A confident person, regardless of the interference, will persevere, determined to fly towards their destination. This is stability.

Take JY, for example; I am training her stability. HF brother and I are working hard to adjust her, and of course, I've successfully adjusted many cases before. Among your A3 group, I've recently favored a leader: YX sister. She used to be incredibly unstable, but under my guidance, I've reshaped her, and her confidence has grown, making her increasingly stable. Initially, she would break down and cry once a month, then once every three months, then every six months, and eventually, once a year. Later, no amount of interference would make her cry or break down. In the future, I might even release some significant interference on her. I'm quite good at releasing interference; a stern look and a loud voice from me can do the trick. I believe our church trains people in this manner; otherwise, you wouldn't know. I artificially create interference and then help them recover. I think YX's growth is evident. Last year, when her mother came to our church, she repeatedly thanked me, saying, Pastor Liu, thank you, thank you. Why? Because her stability has improved, she will live an extraordinary life. As for JY, she tends to have minor breakdowns and show some emotional outbursts, but JY's issues are much smaller than YX's. I believe adjusting her should be much easier.

Be A Man of Practiced Faith

If you find your life is disturbingly unstable, the crux of the matter lies in faith. Take, for example, if someone were to sell me into slavery – although no one has – I would declare that God will never forsake me. God will craft an extraordinary opportunity out of this situation. What opportunity is there in slavery? Of course, there are opportunities even in slavery. Even if I were imprisoned, there would still be opportunities. Don’t think I am speaking recklessly; I am a man of practiced faith. If I practice faith, I can articulate it to you in detail. Many preachers today, and I’m not criticising them, they do not practice faith themselves. They do not experiment with this faith, do not make themselves into a very stable aircraft. They constantly tell others, You must have faith! You must live well! But ask them how to have faith, and they do not know. Isn't this laughable? The brothers and sisters who come to our church are blessed because I am a man of practiced faith. Do you know what the fruit of faith is? The fruit of faith is miracles.
