Introduction:
Some have experienced God, but quickly forget Him. Every choice is one's own, and tragedy stems from choices made in the heart. Example: A brother loved cars, and after buying a Mercedes, he collided with a large truck six months later, resulting in a fatal accident. Attending his funeral and seeing his face deeply moved me, prompting me to vow to love God for life, not cars or houses, but only God. Could God not have prevented such a thing? The devil also knows our thoughts and intentions.
Another tragedy occurred involving a pastor in his 30s from my former church. He bought a Toyota and crashed into the back and underneath of a water truck, resulting in a fatal accident. Each time I attended a funeral, I was shaken, constantly telling myself not to love the world, but only to love God and serve Him. No matter what happens, do not deviate from God's path. May God keep my heart.
Last night was a painful one. A couple who had not been married long, the woman having experienced God, suddenly decided to leave her child of less than 2 years and her husband. I asked her if this was her decision, and if she had thought about the future. She said it was her decision and she did not know what the future held. Therefore, a person's life is the result of a series of choices. Seeing tragedy occur is the result of one's own choices.
Example: A father fell for a prostitute, followed by debt and a series of tragedies, ultimately leading to his death. Why must people choose death, why choose sin, why can't they make the right choice? They do not know the consequences of their choices, and when they do, it is too late. It fulfills the saying, You reap what you sow, and eventually, you have to swallow the bitter fruit.
God's most wonderful creation is the seed. Seeds represent the testing of one's faith. I often feel sadness. Last night, I couldn't sleep for a long time. Many leaders I painstakingly cultivated over the years have fallen away one by one. Is it so difficult to choose to serve God, be blessed, and love God? What people sow, they will have to use to resist the harvest.
The history of Israel is a tragedy of forsaking God, choosing to abandon God when faced with choices. Regardless of what the future holds, may we always choose life and blessings, and stay away from curses and death.
Those who serve with me, you lead them to the end. Each time they fall away, my heart aches. My heart is filled with tears and blood. Don't let life be short. Whether you can grasp God again, hold on to God tightly, and make a wise choice between life and death, blessing and disaster. Every choice will have a profound impact on our future life. Live in blessing with God.
2. Scripture
I call heaven and earth to witness against you today, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and curse. Therefore choose life, that you and your offspring may live, loving the Lord your God, obeying his voice and holding fast to him, for he is your life and length of days, that you may dwell in the land that the Lord swore to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.” (Deuteronomy 30:19-20)
Can you understand Moses' feelings? Perhaps Moses' feelings were very difficult at that time. People, I call heaven and earth to witness today that I have set before you life and death, blessing and disaster. Therefore, you must choose life. You and your descendants will live and be long-lived, the creation in your body, rely solely on Him, for He is your life, and your days are long because of Her.
Learn to wisely choose life, choose blessings. We strive to grasp you throughout our lives. Loving you and following you is a treasure that often manifests God's power.
4. The Myth of Choice
My heart will never deviate, forever! Jesus, the wonderful work you have done in my life. We must know that life is short and that we must come before God to give an account. Some brothers and sisters who are not married have testified to people. Every brother and sister must be prepared. Some time ago, a sister came among us. This sister prayed desperately in her own church many years ago, asking God to give her a good husband. Truly take responsibility for your choices. It is not God who makes choices for you. Never push responsibility onto God. Every choice is your own, isn't it? Everything is your own choice.
People often have the wrong idea that God will make choices for them. God never makes choices for you. Your wrong situation is because you have not chosen blessings. What you are walking into today is the result of your past sowing. Christians often tell me that they felt at peace when they made that choice. Actually, it is a choice you must make yourself. Do you ask God in the morning whether to brush your teeth? That is your own choice. You want to push your own choices onto God, when all choices must be made by yourself.
To make wise choices, can you really find scriptures in the Bible to pray and ask God to give you a boyfriend or girlfriend? Blaming God for entering a wrong marriage, isn't that the result of your own choice? Aren't you eager to have a wonderful love? I tell all the brothers and sisters that all the love stories in this world are tragedies. China has Liang Shanbo and Zhu Yingtai, and foreign countries have Romeo and Juliet. The same tragedies continue to happen. Is that the goal of people living?
You have to know what kind of choice you are making. Maybe you have a wonderful feeling when you first enter love, but what happens when that feeling is gone? Everyone must know the concept of sowing seeds. Today, when you sow seeds, you don't reap them tomorrow. You may still be living well tomorrow, but what does that represent? Nothing at all.
5. The Concept of Sowing Seeds
People must begin to make wise choices and sow good seeds. You sow bitter melon and reap bitter melon. Nothing produces results immediately. Blessings and curses are the same. I must constantly sow seeds of blessing.
For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life. (Galatians 6:8)
Don't ask God why this is happening when you reap the harvest. What were you doing then? Don't corrupt officials know the final outcome? They know, but they think it probably won't happen to me. Establish the concept of sowing seeds. God wants to find people of faith in the world. Can we all establish the concept of sowing seeds today? If we know the concept of sowing seeds by faith, you will sow seeds of blessing and obtain Mingding Destiny. If you don't know and continue to sow seeds of curses, then the problem is big. By the time you reap the results, it is basically impossible to turn it around. Because God wants to find people of faith in this world. Those who sow seeds of curses do not believe that they can reap seeds of blessing, so they sow seeds of curses carelessly. Not only will blessings come true in people's lives, but curses will also come true in people's lives. It is faith. If you believe in God's words, sow seeds of blessing, know that people don't live long and have to give an account to God when they die, let alone that people have to eat the fruits of their sowing while they are alive.
How foolish were the Israelites?
one who, when he hears the words of this sworn covenant, blesses himself in his heart, saying, ‘I shall be safe, though I walk in the stubbornness of my heart.’ This will lead to the sweeping away of moist and dry alike. (Deuteronomy 29:19)
Is the current peace really peace? It cannot be peace. My own mother's favorite thing is to eat, drink, and have fun. This is not a bad mother, she just likes to eat and drink. When I was casting out demons, the evil spirit of Lao Ma looked at me fiercely through my mother and said that she liked to play. Let's take a look at these people with Alzheimer's disease today. Aren't they all seeds they sowed themselves? Aren't these people in wheelchairs all walking the paths they have walked in their lives? God knows what people think in their hearts. I am not scaring you. God said:
I call heaven and earth to witness against you today, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and curse. Therefore choose life, that you and your offspring may live, (Deuteronomy 30:19)
Although those who follow me in service are falling away one after another, what does it matter? The first day I entered the church, they led me to sing a song: I will follow Jesus forever and never look back. To this day, it is deeply rooted in my heart. Today you ask me why God has done so many miracles through me. Because I will never forget the words never look back. The first batch of leaders I led in Singapore have all been wiped out and are living a comfortable life. Later, I told myself that the days of this marriage registrar were coming to an end. I constantly persevered in sowing seeds of Mingding Destiny, constantly running on this path, sowing in the hearts of brothers and sisters, and having this kind of never-returning character, running on this path of Mingding Destiny.
6. Do Not Make Choices Based on Feelings
Yesterday, while browsing websites, I came across career planning content, with topics focused on feelings and interests. Many people act on feelings, thinking a deal looks good, only to invest a large sum and later suffer losses, then pray to God: God! I felt so at peace at the time! In fact, the Bible tells us to make choices based on faith; feelings are unreliable, and interests are often deceptive. Many failures stem from feelings. What can replace our choices? I never trust feelings or interests. I prefer to observe and understand. Many people follow their feelings. I am among the few who do not follow feelings; I follow God's word and God's will. Sow seeds according to the Spirit, and through the Spirit, mortify the feelings of the flesh. It is God who gives life, not feelings. If you enter marriage based on feeling today, what if the feeling fades tomorrow? Won't this feeling corrupt people? Who lives a life based on feeling? There is no such person in the Bible. If you start a business based on feeling and then suffer heavy losses, the Bible does not tell you to live by feelings; it tells you to walk by faith. Feelings are unreliable, and interests can be a form of corruption.
A sister once told me when applying for a job, Pastor! I really want to study multimedia. But after studying, she found it wasn't what she wanted, which wasted time. Feelings are illusions. A song lyric says: Follow your feelings, hold tight to your dreams, please be more and more joyous, wave your smile freely. But in many marriages that follow feelings, I see corruption, jobs that are a matter of life and death, struggles and pain. Weren't there good feelings before? But what happens when the feelings are not so strong, or even disappear? What happens when illusions come? Human feelings can never replace faith! Do you believe you are a person with Mingding Destiny? Do you believe?
Following feelings breeds corruption. The feelings within a person can never replace faith. Is one a person of faith? Perhaps you feel good inside, but there is fear? If you have fear, should you follow it? When the Israelites wandered in the wilderness for forty years, God deeply loathed them. In my ministry, I have seen such people, and I deeply understand why God is disgusted with them. Do you think our God is not disgusted? Living by feelings all day, retreating in fear, having faith when there is food, losing faith when there is no food, losing faith when there is no water, having faith when there is an order, losing faith when there is no order. God loathes such people!
We must take on the Mingding Destiny of this generation. Is serving God not difficult? Who doesn't know fatigue? It is hard, but knowing that it will accomplish a beautiful Mingding Destiny, being the kind of person who never gives up, such a person will inherit an exceedingly great and eternal glory.
We have set our hearts: to choose between life and death, blessing and curse. No matter what we encounter, nothing can take away our identity, which is to choose to love God and live a victorious life. Trusting God when we feel good, trusting God when we feel bad. Some say I am foolish, but I want to be that kind of fool. In over twenty years of knowing God, I have constantly experienced God because He is my life. What the world considers foolish, He considers precious. Whenever I encounter difficulties in the world, I remember the grace God has shown me.
We are like those who sow in tears will reap with songs of joy, they will surely come again with shouts of joy, bringing their sheaves with them. (Psalm 126:5) I love studying Genesis, and I always speak eloquently when I talk about it because they did not act on feelings. Jacob fled from home to escape his brother's pursuit, went through a long journey, and finally arrived at his uncle's house. He worked in his uncle's house for 14 years, facing the wind and dew, tending to his uncle's flock. The feeling was not good at all, but that is how the world is, it is not our eternal home. From a young age, I was not interested in the world's eating, drinking, and playing. When I was studying, I studied hard; when I grew up and worked, I worked hard. I think playing cards is boring, draw a card, play it out.
I want to serve God; that is my joy, that is my choice. I know the words of the Bible, choose life, choose blessings, choose to listen to Him. This world and its desires will pass away because we love God. Once, I met a pastor on a plane, sitting next to me. He talked about his recent situation, saying, I am now doing business, finally free from a hard job. Is shepherding God's flock a hard job? That is our whole life.
God is clearly with us; leaving the world is returning to God. In this world, the devil is with us; leaving the world is going to the devil.
Those who sow in tears will reap with songs of joy! (Psalm 126:5)
We are all making our own choices now: This world and its desires will pass away, but serving God is my joy. Since we have chosen God, we must choose life, choose blessing, choose to love God, choose to listen to Him.
We must serve our God, love God, take serving God as joy, love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength. With God, what else do we need? With God, we have the meaning of life. I don't mind telling you that I am tired of the days in this world. I can't wait to leave this world and be with God. But God wants me to stay in this world and serve Him.
Do not love the world, do not covet your own life; the key is Mingding Destiny. Why are you alive? Are you clear? Living for a beautiful love will lead to the tragedy of Liang Shanbo and Zhu Yingtai. Living by feelings will be deceived by feelings. We must all make wise choices. It is not experiencing God and then serving God, but because He is our God, that we serve our God. Do not be afraid, do not rely on feelings, but rely on our Mingding Destiny—serving God, which is the purpose of our life. Living is vanity of vanities. Grasp God tightly for life, love Him, serve Him. Make wise choices between life and death, blessing and curse.
7. Conclusion: The Key is Mingding Destiny
Are you willing to serve God? If you serve because of giving a testimony, you will not be able to serve; if you serve because of receiving God's blessing, you will not be able to serve. Nothing can deprive us of our Mingding Destiny to serve God. No longer walk by feelings, but walk by Mingding Destiny.
You cannot serve God with fear. If you serve God in order to maintain your relationship with your family, you will not be able to serve God. We must reject all fear and bondage within, define following God, make a wise choice, and be blessed because of our choice in the future, so that our days on earth may be long.
From now on, it is no longer I who live, but Jesus Christ who lives in us, striking down all the devil's enemies, becoming a blessing to the family! Nothing can separate us from God! To this world, we are dead; in Jesus Christ, we are a new creation. Nothing can disturb us because we are completely under the name of Jesus Christ! Amen!
