Introduction
Good day to all. I particularly cherish Genesis Chapter 9, as it speaks of God valuing man as honorable. If God sees you and me as honorable, and declares you to be so, how does that make you feel? It is utterly uplifting, inspiring even your toes, changing the way you walk!
If you are a person of honor, would you engage in petty theft? Certainly not. If God tells man to be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth, would a wealthy person engage in petty theft? No, they would not. Can everyone grasp this? If you are a capable person, would you engage in petty theft? No, you would not.
Consider what they say. I do not particularly love money, but what can I do? I have become a top billionaire. I did not particularly aim to excel in studies, but I have done so. Upon hearing this, some might think I am being overly boastful, and find it irritating to listen to me. But this is indeed the truth. You can tell what a person thinks by observing their actions. Some are unaware of the honorable image within them. When God says you have an honorable image, they question it. When God says you are beautiful, they deny it out of false modesty. When God says you can excel in studies, they deem it impossible. When God says He will heal you, they argue that doctors have failed. What is this mindset?
There is a particularly interesting group of people in this world, interesting in that their minds are filled with ignoble thoughts, compelling them to engage in petty theft. This is why I particularly cherish Genesis, for it contains God's beautiful intentions for us. God created man exceedingly well. If there is anything in this world that can be considered a precise design, it is man. Can a cockroach compare to a man? It is a simple creature with limited components. Do simple or complex designs endure better? Simple designs, of course, but they are also poorly engineered, consisting of just four wheels and a steering wheel, or perhaps just a push bar in the back. What kind of vehicle is that? A clunker.
Recently, someone acquired a Porsche Cayenne, but it struggled to climb hills and emitted smoke. They lamented that this expensive vehicle, costing over a million, could not handle inclines. Someone later told me that it should not be called a Porsche, as the translation was incorrect. I asked what it should be called, and they suggested "clunker." Indeed, it was a clunker, albeit an expensive one. I am not merely talking about cars, but about the inherent honor of man on earth. If we can internalize this, we will be powerful indeed! Heed my advice: live out the honorable image God has placed within you. God created you with great honor, indeed.
And God blessed Noah and his sons and said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth." (Genesis 9:1)
Whoever sheds the blood of man, by man shall his blood be shed, for God made man in his own image. And you, be fruitful and multiply, increase greatly on the earth and multiply in it.” (Genesis 9: 6-7)
Attribute of Honor 1: Be Fruitful and Multiply, Increase Greatly
If you see yourself as honorable, God will bless you, because your view of yourself aligns with God's view of you. Therefore, when I see those who are utterly destitute, I do not perceive them as flourishing or honorable. Imagine a disheveled beggar, picking his nose and rubbing dirt rolls on his neck, then offering those dirt rolls as medicine to those who ask. In tattered clothes, with a deliberately deep V-neck. When young women wear deep V-necks on the runway, it is considered fashionable. But what about a beggar on the runway, picking his nose, rubbing dirt rolls, and walking with a limp? No one would watch. My point is that being fruitful and multiplying is an attribute of honor.
I have concluded that if a person is truly spiritual and blessed, they will be financially prosperous. Many accuse me of preaching prosperity theology. Would you prefer failure? They come to me and praise someone else's teachings, but what good is failure theology? Go believe in failure theology. I prefer flourishing and increasing. I do not call this prosperity theology, but theology of honor.
Can you imagine what honor looks like? Can someone who is withered and emaciated be honorable? What about someone who looks like a beggar on the street? If you board a bus and everyone disembarks, or if you stand near someone and they automatically offer you a seat, how would you feel? Good? But they are giving up their seats because they cannot bear the foul odor. The gospel we preach aligns with the Bible: you are an honorable person. In our Chinese Mingding Destiny, you must believe that we are honorable, that we will flourish and increase, that we will be fruitful and multiply, and that we will lack nothing financially or in health.
This gospel is excellent. Being fruitful, filling the earth, flourishing, and increasing is not achieved through mere effort. Those who strive too hard were destroyed by the flood. The descendants of Cain were wiped out, leaving only Noah's family. These survivors were blessed by God, which is the key point. Have you ever seen a blessed person who is utterly destitute? I have not. I find that the people in the Bible were well-off. David was wealthy, and many people's eyes light up at the mention of money. David did not love money, but he was rich. You might think I am boasting like David, but that is indeed the case. Abraham was wealthy, Isaac was wealthy, and Jacob was wealthy, but they did not love money!
Does everyone want to be rich? If so, change your mindset. If you think of yourself as a clunker or a failure, will you not lose money? I am speaking of being blessed by God, which implies financial prosperity. Some have many children and lament their inability to provide. I ask why they lament, and they say they cannot afford it. They lament that the doctor said it was a son, because sons need houses, cars, and dowries. They would prefer a daughter, so they can receive a dowry. What a mindset! We must understand that being fruitful and multiplying means that all children are wealth, and they will live in God's blessing.
Attribute of Honor 2: All Creatures Will Fear You
It is excellent that all creatures will fear you. Why? Because they know you are more honorable than they are. God has placed all things in your hands, even demons fear you. If all creatures fear you, what do you have to fear? If animals do not fear you, what does that signify? That you are not honorable. If animals do not fear you, can you be considered honorable? All creatures fear you, which is God's second attribute of honor.
I have found many examples in the Bible. There was a prophet named Elisha, who was quite famous, but he had a flaw: he was bald. In those days, baldness was considered unattractive. Today, a shaved head can be seen as attractive and honorable. Because Elisha was bald, a group of children mocked him, telling him to go away. Were these children honorable? No. Was Elisha honorable? Yes! An honorable person would never say such things.
If you are an honorable person, you would not say such things. You would say, "I have an honorable image, and so do you," and would not mock others. Elisha was mocked for his baldness, and as a result, those children were killed by bears. If a person is honorable, animals will fear them, because the Spirit of God is upon them. These animals will see you and be afraid, and they will go around you. Those who are killed by bears or tigers deserve it! Someone climbed over the wall into a wildlife park, and the tiger saw him and thought he looked interesting. Can someone who climbs walls be honorable? The tiger knew he was not honorable, so it ate him.
Recently, there was a news story about a couple who were arguing. The woman got out of the car in anger, and as they were switching drivers, a tiger came and dragged her away, killing her. Her mother was also injured, with her face mauled. They were arguing for no reason, like enemies. They lived like enemies, but if they had been patient, they would not have been killed by tigers or lions.
We can understand the world by observing these events. If a person does not have an honorable image, even cats, mice, and cockroaches will bully them, let alone tigers and lions. This is a serious matter. Are there those among us who fear cockroaches or mice? That is certainly not the image of God. You must change this, so that they fear you, not you fear them, because what you fear will come upon you.
Attribute of Honor 3: All Living Animals Can Be Your Food
You are more honorable; you are not the food of animals, but animals are your food. Because you are honorable, to what extent? We must grasp the essence of things. Man is very honorable, cockroaches are not. Some believe that the cockroach they stepped on in this life was their previous incarnation. What logic is that? No one has seen it, neither have you nor I. If I catch a mouse and ask it what it was in its previous life, it will stare at me blankly, unable to answer.
Not only can mice not answer, but neither can people. If I ask you what you were in your previous life, and you say you were a cockroach, then no wonder you are so resilient, a "little strong" living so tenaciously! If your previous life was a cockroach, what was your life before that? I calculate that it was a mouse. We Chinese invented the twelve zodiac signs. What is your sign? I am a snake, what is yours? I am a mouse. What is mine? I am a cat, specializing in eating mice. What are you comparing?
There are stories about big mice, which is why the mouse is placed before the ox. These chaotic sayings are all part of Chinese culture. Instead of doing something better, people insist on turning themselves into animal signs. What is your sign? I am a monkey. When you get anxious, you scratch your ears and cheeks, just like a monkey! You really are a monkey. Those born in the year of the mouse have shifty eyes. And those born in the year of the pig, there is everything. What am I? I belong to Jesus, I belong to God, I have the image of God. Therefore, animals are our food, animals are not honorable.
On earth, only one category is honorable: man, because man is made in the image of God. What image are animals made in? This question stumps you. Those who listen to me often know that animals are made in the image of angels. How are angels made? Watch "Journey to the West" and you will see that the mounts of the gods become demons when they descend to earth.
Man is made in the image of God, and animals are made in the image of spiritual beings in heaven. I say this with biblical basis. For example, the cherubim on the Ark of the Covenant, and the images of angels seen by the Old Testament prophets, all resemble animals. So, are humans more honorable or are angels more honorable? Humans! Because humans are made in the image of God. Do we still worship angels? No, we should gradually begin to ponder this.
Attribute of Honor 4: Whoever Sheds Human Blood, Harms Human Life, God Will Avenge His Sin
To what extent is man honorable? Whoever sheds human blood, God will avenge his sin. Man is that honorable. Why? Because shedding human blood means not treating man as man, which is a problem. Our Chinese Mingding Destiny is to shape people into honorable beings. Who paved the way for this honorable path? Abraham. Those who bless Abraham will be blessed, and those who curse Abraham will be cursed.
Not only shedding Abraham's blood, but even glaring at Abraham will bring a curse. Why? Because Abraham's path is the path to restore the glorious image of God. Chinese Mingding Destiny has done one thing: to shape each of our brothers and sisters into someone with the glorious image of God. You must begin to know that God has honorable intentions for you, and God has created an honorable image in you. But what is the problem? Many people's minds are filled with nonsense. When I say this, some brothers and sisters say I am cursing them. I am wronged by your words. What am I doing all day? I want to remove the filth from your minds! The things you think are smelly and extremely dirty!
If you think about money all day, is that honorable? If money becomes your ancestor, what is in your head but excrement? I say you are not good. You can allow him to have nonsense in his mind, but you do not allow me to say that he has nonsense in his mind. What am I doing when I say this? I want to remove the nonsense from his mind, because the things in his head are so smelly that they all carry a scent when he speaks.
I also find it strange that this person does not want to live out the honor of God. Why did you come if you do not want to live out the honor of God? If you want to come to Chinese Mingding Destiny to make some money, it is useless! Although I have said: those who come to Chinese Mingding Destiny are blessed financially. But how did you forget the root of this? I said: you must become honorable, how can you make money if you are not honorable? People only think about money, thinking that money is very important. In fact, a person's life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions, but in the honor of the person. Now everyone understands.
Once I visited an entrepreneur who was very successful. He had a very interesting and powerful logic for managing his business, so I went to visit him. He invited me to a meal, and during the meal I asked him how he managed his business. He asked me a question in return. He said, "If I give you ten million every year, would you be willing to eat on your knees and work on your knees?" Some people say, "Kneeling is fine! Absolutely." But I said, "I don't want it."
You see, some people are willing to bow and scrape for ten million, bending over backwards for a few dollars! Even the ancient Chinese scholars knew not to bow down for a few dollars, right? Why? Because I am very honorable! The most important thing in business management is to treat people as honorable people. If someone comes in who is not honorable, what should you do? Then don't hire them. If he doesn't want to be an honorable person, and he wants to eat on his knees, do you think I would still hire him? If you really kneel, I really won't give you that ten million, understand? Why not give it? Because you are not honorable!
Those who shed human blood, harm human life, they are all for money, and God will avenge his sin, no matter who you are, God will avenge your sin. So brothers and sisters, whether you are looking for a job or doing things, you must know that you are an honorable person. You will never bend over backwards for a few dollars, and that company will hire you, because they need you to solve problems. The company does not need you to take that salary, but needs you as a talent to solve problems.
Before some brothers and sisters look for a job, I will give them a pep talk first. How do I give a pep talk? I am definitely an expert in building people's confidence. I say that you are an honorable person, and you must never beg for a job, because if you beg for a job, that job will not give it to you, because you are not honorable. When you go to a company to work, why do people hire you? Not because you need that job, but because you are very honorable, and you have the ability to help this company solve problems. If you feel that you are not honorable and do not have this ability, and you say, "Boss, give me this job!" Then it's over, the job is gone. This is why people always can't get a job, because they don't have that honorable appearance.
Everyone gradually relies on God's blessing, knowing in their hearts that they have the image of God, and then acting according to God's word, it is difficult for you not to prosper. Some people are very confused, they were doing their homework well, serving well, and they were slightly blessed financially, and money became their ancestor again. Everything can be put down, but that small shop cannot be put down, everything can be put down, but making money cannot be put down. Money has become his ancestor, can he be honorable? It is impossible to be honorable. Therefore, those who shed your blood and harm your life are all for money. You shed human blood and harm human life are also for money! Or you are entangled in such and such trivial matters.
If people know that man is made in the image of God, they will treat man as man. My words are a bit sharp and mean, but my motives are very noble. My motive is to remove the excrement from your mind and put the honorable image of God on you. If the garbage in your mind is still there, I will mercilessly remove it for you. Understand? Then you must know that you have a very honorable image of God, and it is impossible to be poor. Then God will make a covenant with you.
God Makes a Covenant with You
Then God said to Noah and to his sons with him: “I now establish my covenant with you and with your descendants after you and with every living creature that was with you—the birds, the livestock and all the wild animals, all those that came out of the ark with you—every living creature on earth. I establish my covenant with you: Never again will all life be destroyed by the waters of a flood; never again will there be a flood to destroy the earth.” (Genesis 9:8-11)
Do you all know with what kind of person God makes a covenant? Do you think God makes a covenant with everyone? God makes a covenant with noble people. If you consider yourself a noble person, God will make a covenant with you, and God will not destroy you. If God sees someone as livestock, like a mosquito that specializes in sucking blood, clinging to Jesus to suck blood, then God will slap them to death because they are just a mosquito.
You must know that if you live like livestock, you become food for humans. The devil is livestock, and humans feed on the devil. God makes a covenant with noble people. The question is, will you be a noble person or someone like livestock? One of our sisters came up with a slogan, which I later stopped her from using. But the content of the slogan was quite good. She said, "There is no Mingding Destiny to be like livestock." This is the truth, but you can't keep saying it! If you live like livestock, what are livestock for? Livestock are for eating. So, brothers and sisters, you must know that livestock have the status of livestock, and humans have the status of humans.
The status of humans is to manage the earth, be fruitful and multiply, flourish and prosper, and govern the earth. God's will has never changed. But when I look around, why do some people seem to have more of the image of a demon? Once a person becomes selfish, it's troublesome. I am saying this to encourage everyone. From now on, let's all be like the Versailles people: they don't love money, but how do they have so much money? What do you say? They didn't even try to compete, but their grades are so good. What do you say? Isn't that right? They just have a small goal, and before they even set it, it's already achieved. It immediately makes many people feel the pressure to compete.
If you don't compete yourself, but you make others compete, that is, you make the livestock compete, then many people will blacklist you, but you still have God's noble image. But let's try not to say it, just keep it in mind. Don't be like me, with a mouth that can talk so well. If you talk too much, many people don't like to be with you, but I'm not tired. Look how well I lead the Bible study. Some people lead Bible studies and are a complete mess. If they heard this, they would definitely be upset.
Later, I realized that I need to restrain my mouth a bit. Being too outstanding is annoying! Look, the renovation guys can't earn my money; the software developers can't earn my money; the hospitals can't earn my money, and I'm especially rich. What do you say? This is just to share with our brothers and sisters. Don't let me make you feel the pressure to compete. You also have God's image. If you also feel the pressure to compete, it's troublesome. I specialize in making livestock feel the pressure to compete. God made a covenant with me. What kind of covenant did God make with me? Was it Noah's covenant? No, it was Abraham's covenant! Those who bless me will be blessed, and those who curse me will be cursed. I think that's good!
Some people are afraid that I will curse them, so they want me to sign a contract before they leave the church. Teacher: I want to go back to my original church. I said, "Okay! Go quickly! Go quickly." "You're not going to keep me?" I don't keep people. She said, "Teacher, I have a request. After I leave, don't curse me behind my back." What kind of talk is that? If you are Abraham, can anyone curse you? If you are Abraham, if you are Isaac, Jacob, who can curse you? No one can curse you. But if you are not Abraham, nor Isaac, Jacob, nor Joseph, even if I don't curse you, God will curse you, because God said that cursing is His business. Many people are in this misunderstanding.
Later, this covenant was upgraded. Noah's covenant was upgraded to Abraham's covenant, and Abraham's covenant was upgraded to Jesus' covenant. Jesus' covenant was established with Jesus' blood. Do you think that's noble or not? You and I were bought with the precious blood of Jesus Christ. Do you think that's noble or not? You still secretly love money. How embarrassing is that! Isn't it? You're embarrassed to the core, with your mind full of money. Why? Because you're poor!
The poorer you are, the less noble you are. The less noble you are, the poorer you are. The poorer you are, the more you love money. The more you love money, the less noble you are. When will this end? Today, I raise my knife to cut off all that is ignoble. If you were to be like the Versailles people a bit, I would think that's better than how you are now. I don't love money, but I just have money. What do you say? Okay, that's no problem! I have a covenant established with God. People who have a covenant with God are very powerful. Just think about it slowly.
Everyone must know that Noah carried the image of Abraham. Noah was remarkable. Do you think you can despise Noah and not be cursed? Despising Noah will also bring a curse. Did Noah have flaws? It doesn't matter if he had flaws. He still had a noble image. Everyone must know that once you see someone God considers noble as ignoble, you will be cursed.
If You See Someone God Considers Noble as Ignoble, You Will Be Cursed
The word "noble" is remarkable. If you're not careful, something will happen. I hope you know that I am very noble. Don't look down on me! I'm giving you a heads-up. If you see me as ignoble, something will happen. I'm not scaring you. You have to understand what I mean. Not just me, but it's the same when others look at you. You must know that you are very noble, and others can't just say anything about you.
Noah, a man of the soil, proceeded to plant a vineyard. When he drank some of its wine, he became drunk and lay uncovered inside his tent. (Genesis 9:20-21)
One day, Noah drank a lot of wine and got drunk. He lay naked in his tent. Because it was too hot, there was no air conditioning, no fan. He got drunk and took off his clothes. Let's just stick to the facts. It really wasn't very dignified, not very noble. But it's not up to you to comment on it. Ham went in and saw his father naked and became a Peeping Tom.
Have you all seen the news, a teacher peeking at someone taking a shower through a window? What can you see from that? We don't know, but they got caught. Secretly watching online, it seems no one will catch you, but what's so interesting about it? Ham went in and saw his father naked, and he really saw his father as ignoble. Was what he saw the truth? Absolutely the truth. But the truth is useless.
He turned around and told his two brothers, "Our old man got drunk and is lying naked. It's so embarrassing." His older brother and younger brother took a garment, put it on their shoulders, walked in backward, not daring to look, because they felt that their father's body was very noble. Their father was a person who had made a covenant with God. He had flaws, he got drunk, he had problems, but it's not up to you to point fingers. Although it's not described in the Bible, Ham saw it and went out to spread the word, and he was cursed. It's very serious. So I hope, brothers and sisters, don't focus your eyes on Noah lying naked. Noah was the only person in that generation who could survive, the only one who walked in God's will, the only one who had God's noble image.
When Ham went outside and talked about Noah lying naked, he was discerning good and evil, and the demon dwelled in this person. As soon as a person thinks like that, they invite the demon in. Shem and Japheth turned their faces away and covered their father's body. They refused to look at people's flaws, refused to look at people's weaknesses, refused to look at those bad things. If people often see the bad in others, they're finished. People often see the bad in that person, see this flaw in your father, see that flaw in your mother, thinking, "Oh, my life has been ruined by my parents." They blame everything on others. They only see the bad things. Isn't that a problem?
So you need to start understanding why Ham was cursed for doing this. Because of what Ham did, the curse came upon Canaan. Spiritual things are beyond what we can imagine. People were originally blessed by God, but people have ignoble things in their hearts, and people's eyes specialize in seeing ignoble things. What you see is what you get. Today, brothers and sisters, start thinking about what your eyes are seeing. I'm telling you: today you see this as bad, you see that as bad. Your life will be a bad life.
Every time I minister to people with this problem or that problem, especially people with a lot of problems, I'm more accurate than a fortune teller. If I trace it back, they definitely see everything as unpleasant. You might say, "He really was lying naked." What does it have to do with you that he was really lying naked? Do you want to watch? You have voyeurism. You need to see a psychologist, or you need to see Jesus to be healed and delivered. What does it have to do with you? Do you want to live under a curse? Today, there are many people living under a curse, just like Ham.
Coming to Chinese Mingding Destiny Theology, listening to me talk and talk all day long, can you take it in? Some people say, "Teacher, I can't control myself." If you can't control yourself, that's your destiny. What does it mean to not be able to control yourself? You don't do things that bring blessings, but you have to do things that bring curses. What kind of person is that? As a result, when Noah woke up, he cursed Ham, saying that he would become a servant, which is a very miserable life!
Brothers and sisters, you need to start knowing, don't look at those things, look at the noble things in people. In the past few years, I had a characteristic in my work. Even if my superiors weren't particularly capable, I could learn a lot of good things from them. If they were very capable, I would learn even more. I'm telling the truth, not being like the Versailles people. But if I occasionally didn't control myself well, I would have to repent quickly. If I didn't repent, I would get beaten. God really disciplined me.
Blessed Be the Lord, the God of Shem
God became the God of Shem because God knows that man is noble. Shem, Noah's son, had something called nobility. Jesus Christ had something called nobility. Paul had something called nobility. David had something called nobility. Joseph had something called nobility. They refused to discern good and evil. Even if they were qualified to discern good and evil, they didn't discern good and evil, let alone those who weren't qualified.
So blessed be the Lord, the God of Shem, because God became the God of Shem. All those who imitate Shem are remarkable. So I started to imitate from the root. I imitate Noah, Shem, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob. Many pastors are cursed. Why? Because they specialize in finding flaws in Noah, specialize in finding flaws in Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, specialize in looking at the problems in David, specialize in picking out the bad things in those whom God is pleased with.
I find it very strange that Chinese Mingding Destiny Theology doesn't even have the guts to do that. To pick on the flaws of Abraham, Shem, Noah, that is, to be like the Versailles people often, I don't have the guts, and I wouldn't dare to say in front of people, "Is he really that good?" What kind of talk is that? Everyone needs to start knowing that from birth to death, one day we may leave this world, but living in this world, no matter how many years we live, we should live out God's noble image. Don't be an ignorant person. You can't finish learning the good things, and you're still picking on flaws.
May God bless everyone!
Genesis Chapter 9 Scripture
9:1 God blessed Noah and his sons and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number and fill the earth.
9:2 The fear and dread of you will fall on all the beasts of the earth, and on all the birds in the sky, on every creature that moves along the ground, and on all the fish in the sea; they are given into your hands.
9:3 Everything that lives and moves about will be food for you. Just as I gave you the green plants, I now give you everything.
9:4 “But you must not eat meat that has its lifeblood still in it.
9:5 And for your lifeblood I will surely demand an accounting. I will demand an accounting from every animal. And from each human being, too, I will demand an accounting for the life of another human being.
9:6 “Whoever sheds human blood,
by humans shall their blood be shed;
for in the image of God
has God made mankind.
9:7 As for you, be fruitful and increase in number; multiply in the earth and increase upon it.”
9:8 Then God said to Noah and to his sons with him:
9:9 “I now establish my covenant with you and with your descendants after you
9:10 and with every living creature that was with you—the birds, the livestock and all the wild animals, all those that came out of the ark with you—every living creature on earth.
9:11 I establish my covenant with you: Never again will all life be destroyed by the waters of a flood; never again will there be a flood to destroy the earth.”
9:12 And God said, “This is the sign of the covenant I am making between me and you and every living creature with you, a covenant for all generations to come:
9:13 I have set my rainbow in the clouds, and it will be the sign of the covenant between me and the earth.
9:14 Whenever I bring clouds over the earth and the rainbow appears in the clouds,
9:15 I will remember my covenant between me and you and all living creatures of every kind. Never again will the waters become a flood to destroy all life.
9:16 Whenever the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and all living creatures of every kind on the earth.”
9:17 So God said to Noah, “This is the sign of the covenant I have established between me and all life on earth.”
9:18 The sons of Noah who came out of the ark were Shem, Ham and Japheth. (Ham was the father of Canaan.)
9:19 These were the three sons of Noah, and from them came all the people who were scattered over the whole earth.
9:20 Noah, a man of the soil, proceeded to plant a vineyard.
9:21 When he drank some of its wine, he became drunk and lay uncovered inside his tent.
9:22 Ham, the father of Canaan, saw his father naked and told his two brothers outside.
9:23 But Shem and Japheth took a garment and laid it across their shoulders; then they walked in backward and covered their father’s naked body. Their faces were turned away so that they would not see their father’s naked body.
9:24 When Noah awoke from his wine and found out what his youngest son had done to him,
9:25 he said,
“Cursed be Canaan!
The lowest of slaves
will he be to his brothers.”
9:26 He also said,
“Praise be to the Lord, the God of Shem;
may Canaan be the slave of Shem.
9:27 May God extend Japheth’s territory;
may Japheth live in the tents of Shem,
and may Canaan be the slave of Japheth.”
9:28 After the flood Noah lived 350 years.
9:29 Noah lived a total of 950 years, and then he died.
