Introduction

Good day to all! I am very happy to meet everyone online again! Today, the topic I am sharing with you is Never Retreat. The character of never retreating has a profound impact on people. In my ministry, I have found that people often like to retreat, immediately backing down when they encounter the slightest difficulty. Today, listen carefully to my sharing, and I encourage you to start dealing with your retreating character.

I have a character, I do not like to retreat. As long as something is recognised in my understanding, I will definitely accomplish it. Therefore, many people say that as long as Teacher Liu wants to do something, no one can stop him, because he will definitely do it! Let me give you an example of my writing books: Some years ago, I prepared to write a book, and many people doubted me, How could you possibly write a book? I said, I just want to write a very lousy book, is that not allowed? I do not care whether the book I write is a lousy book, at least I have a humble beginning, but I will never retreat! I keep pushing forward, and in the blink of an eye, several years have passed, and I have written about seventy to eighty books.

Some people ask me, What do you write these books for? Actually, I just want to clearly discuss the belief system and theological thought of Chinese Mingding Destiny. I stop whenever I retreat. But I have a character of never retreating, so even at this age, I am still constantly growing. Retreat is a very deadly character. If a person lives to an old age and looks back to see that they have accomplished nothing, what is the reason? It is because there is a character of retreating inside, and this character is quite common in people's lives.

I am currently ministering to a sister who has a loser style and loser's logic system developed from childhood, which is simply the epitome of a loser. I started ministering to her a few years ago, and only recently have I started to see a little effect. If I had retreated at any time during the ministry, I would not have gotten the growth I should have, and this sister would not have received the ministry she should have.

Therefore, everyone should know that as long as I minister, I will not retreat. When I cast out demons, there is only one thing I can be sure of, and that is that the demons must retreat! So demons are unlucky when they encounter someone like me! Once, while casting out demons, my spiritual eyes suddenly opened, and I saw a group of demons, about one meter tall, with ugly faces. I could understand them speaking, and they said, It's bad luck to run into him. Why? Because I will not retreat, there is only one thing - the demons must retreat!

Everyone should know that the character of retreating has a profound impact in the spiritual realm. Because the character of retreating will attract many demons and bring many oppressions. No matter what you do, the demons will come to ruin it, and it is difficult for God to be with you.

The sister I minister to has a bit of a hard mouth. I said that she is a person who retreats, backing down when she encounters difficulties, but she flatly denies it. So I tried her. Suppose she comes for a job interview today, and I am the interviewer. I spoke to her in a very interesting tone. I said, Why should I hire you for this job? She replied with a sentence, If I am not welcome here, I will be welcome elsewhere.

Actually, I was just testing her. What does she mean? Since I came for the interview, I can get this job, but if I do not, I can have many choices, choosing a better job, but her immediate reaction is to retreat.

Therefore, today, brothers and sisters must know that the ruin that the character of retreating brings to a person's life is very profound. I often hear people say, Pastor, I am very tired recently and want to take a break. In the cases I have seen, people like this never get back up after taking a break, they are all finished.

Persistence and Trials in Faith

Some people feel that they have been believing in the Lord very hard recently and want to rest, and this rest goes on forever. How could a person who serves the living God be like this? Retreating is a very serious problem! Today, I want to completely shatter this dream of retreating, thinking that retreating can gain something. Retreating gains nothing, retreating only leads to accomplishing nothing! God does not like retreating, God regards retreating as perdition.

If today I can shatter your bad habit of retreating, it may be the best edification for you. God will not accept any excuses, your retreating is retreating. Once a person believes in the Lord, there is only one path, which is to move forward, all the way to the promised land! This character can bring the power of God down from His throne; it can bring the glory of God down from heaven; such a person will build a church full of God's glory; such a person will also accomplish things when they do them.

When have you ever heard study hard, go down every day? No! What you hear is study hard, go up every day. When I was in school as a child, on one side of the school gate was written study hard, and on the other side was written go up every day. Up and down, one is with the head on top, and the other is with the head on the bottom. Up is a vertical line and a small horizontal line, with a large horizontal line at the bottom; down is with the large horizontal line on top, and a vertical line and a small horizontal line at the bottom. No one likes to go down every day.

Today I ask you, how long have you believed in the Lord? Have you encountered difficulties? If not yet, then I tell you that there will definitely be in the future. It is not that I am making such a prophecy, because our God is such a God, and I am just telling the truth. Your faith must be tested. When it is tested, do you choose to retreat or choose to continue to move forward? There are many such examples in the Bible.

I repeat a sentence, if today I can tear down your dream of retreating, tear down your bad habit of retreating, and rush through difficulties, it is the best blessing and the best edification for you! The topic I am talking about today may offend some people, because there are not many people with the character of never retreating in Christian circles. Actually, brothers and sisters must know today, where is retreating to? It is retreating into the world.

Today, we are running on the path of heavenly glory. If you retreat into the world, you will slip downwards all the way. You finally came out of Egypt, but now you want to return to Egypt; you finally went from being a slave to a free person, but now you want to go back to being a slave, which is really surprising.

The other day, a sister typed that she had a cold, so my co-worker took her to pray, and I also took her to pray. Later, I asked her pastor how her cold was. After ministering to this sister, the pastor told me that she said she knew where her problem was, she ran into the world. Why? She saw her husband investing in electronic currency, seeing others on the internet saying how much they invested and how many times they could get in return, like Bitcoin, the early returns were very high. Others invested and got returns, but she invested and did not get much return, and she began to have many confusions in her heart.

Today, brothers and sisters should ask themselves, are we going into the world or are we sharpening our heads to get into the kingdom of God?

Scripture

But my righteous one will live by faith. And if he shrinks back, my soul has no pleasure in him. But we are not of those who shrink back and are destroyed, but of those who have faith and preserve their souls. (Hebrews 10:38-39)

Prayer

God! Do the work of molding on us today, deal with all kinds of bad habits within us! God! Today I invite you to enter into my life, to be my strength, to be my ability, to be my Savior! God, you will lead me to continue to run forward! God! In the past period of time, I ask you to use your Spirit to illuminate me, to let me know my spiritual condition, to let me see the path of heavenly glory that is set before me! God! Encourage me again to go one more mile forward! God! Do this wonderful work among us today, let each of our brothers and sisters be encouraged to persevere and run one more mile forward! In the name of Jesus Christ! Amen!

Scriptural Background

If you ask me which books in the Bible I like? I prefer the book of Hebrews in the New Testament. The author wrote the characteristics of Hebrews very clearly. But many people do not like to read Hebrews, because they cannot understand it! After reading it, they feel accused. Actually, that is not an accusation, but it is telling you that you have gone astray.

The truth spoken in Hebrews is powerful and unambiguous. We do not know who the author of Hebrews is, and the result of many historians' research is Paul, and I also think this is Paul's theological system. You ask me why I like Hebrews? Because the theological system reflected by the author of Hebrews is very characterful and has very high requirements.

Today, the entire Christian community has lowered and lowered God's requirements, to the point that God's glory has left the church. God's glory has left the church, there is no presence of God, and people can only slowly solve their problems themselves.

When we do according to the standards of Hebrews, the church will be filled with God's glory. When the church is filled with God's glory, many problems are solved. This week we had more than fifty testimonies, last week there were more than one hundred testimonies, and the week before that there were seventy to eighty testimonies. Why are there so many testimonies? How can there not be God's testimony where God is present?

Hebrews reveals the author's belief system in every aspect. He believes that people are travelers and sojourners in this world. The pursuits of the world are no longer his pursuits, nothing in the world can attract him, and he no longer pursues fame and profit, but pursues a better homeland! He believes that it is meaningless to live in this world, it is vanity of vanities. Therefore, people must pursue a better homeland in eternity. This is a very important foundational concept of the author of Hebrews.

Today, if you still do not know, and you see that your boss's face turns dark when he sees your work, your heart sinks; and you see the salary, the house, the loans to be paid, and you feel troubled. I can predict that these things you value will one day become meaningless. Because you will enter the coffin, and you will have worked hard all your life, only to end up with a cremation urn. This is the truth, everyone ends up like this.

Therefore, will we pursue a better homeland like the author of Hebrews, never retreating on this path? Jesus has set an example for us on this path of eternal life, going to the cross without hesitation. On this path of eternal life, it is definitely not a leisurely stroll. From Jesus Christ to the Apostle Paul, all the way to us, it is full of challenges, full of temptations, full of trials, full of all kinds of troubling things.

Trials of Faith and Patience

Everyone think about the question I asked in the introduction, How long have you believed in the Lord, have you encountered difficulties? You have not encountered them yet, but you will encounter them in the future. Because we are not strolling leisurely on this path, entering into the kingdom of God. The Christian life is a life of striving and constantly overcoming. It is normal for Christians to be full of challenges, why? Every challenge is testing whether the character within us is one of retreating or one of running forward.

We are often very tired, very weary, and want to give up, want to retreat, want to stop and rest, but on this path, only by overcoming and only by walking in God's will can we realize God's promises. Therefore, today brothers and sisters, even if we are tired, weary, and even want to give up, we must imitate the characters written in the Bible. When we encounter these situations, we must express an attitude that we cannot retreat, we must endure, and after we have done the will of God, God will surely add strength. God is a faithful God, what is impossible with man is possible with God. That is a declaration of faith!

Hebrews speaks the most about faith, and faith carries patience. Patience is faith, and faith is patience. Never retreat! The author of Hebrews did not accept any excuses for retreating, nor did he offer comfort or compromise, nor did he understand why people retreated, but instead emphasized that God is to be feared, God is a consuming fire, and God will discipline!

Everyone should know how glorious and awesome our God is. Today, because we despise everything in this world, we do not want to return to the world. Because we have suffered enough in this world, we have suffered enough, we have eaten enough pig feed. Later, we sought God, came among us, and were healed and received grace. Do we still want to slip back? I tell you, never think about it again.

From the first day I believed in the Lord, I experienced God, and I can remember a small grace to this day. It is a small thing to God, but to me it is a great grace, and all that I have is satisfied in Jesus Christ. What use is everything in this world? I have already despised everything in this world, imitating Isaac, Jacob, and Joseph as described in the Bible. Despising these things does not mean that I will live a poor life, but on the contrary, by imitating these people, I gain more.

Brothers and sisters, what is it like for a person to have no eternal hope? It is very sad to live in this life without eternal hope. Therefore, the author of Hebrews tells us about this hope in eternity, which is our best comfort, our key to victory, and the source of our strength. Today, sharing with you the theme of Never Retreat is a part of what Hebrews presents.

It is not about not retreating in the pursuit of worldly things, such as the pursuit of fame, profit, and money. Rather, it is about never retreating on the path of pursuing eternal life. Do not get it wrong. If you listen to it and then vow to never retreat in the pursuit of fame and profit, then you have heard it backwards. The path that Jesus has opened up for us cannot be compared to anything in this world, because it is a path full of glory, a path to receiving a crown in eternity. Therefore, in this world,

For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. (2 Corinthians 4:17)

The first time I walked into the church, the world I saw at that time was all black and white. There were no flowers, no plants or trees. Even the most beautiful city in Singapore looked like a black and white photo. My heart was very dark, with no job, no future, and no one to call out to in heaven or on earth.

The Path of Faith with No Return

Later, I went to church and heard the first song, The world behind me, the cross before me, never turn back. It was sung in English, and although I did not understand it very well, I sang along, The world behind me, the cross before me, never turn back, I have followed Jesus, never turn back. After listening to it, it resonated strongly with the character within me. To this day, that feeling is still within me.

When we have eaten enough pig feed in this world, have suffered enough, and our hope in this world has been completely destroyed, and we begin to seek a new homeland and seek a hope in eternity, to find a meaning for living. That force supports me to this day, never retreating.

Today, Jesus Christ has opened up a path for us, and He is the author and finisher of our faith. So everyone, do not worry, do not be concerned any further. Begin to do as the Bible teaches, completely shattering all worldly dreams within us, and begin to rebuild the hope in eternity. Take the worldly dreams to the cremation urn! Let us be crucified with Jesus, and let us experience the power of Jesus Christ's resurrection from the dead together.

Some people will think, then what about my problems? I still owe debts! Isn't that just proof that I took the wrong path in the past? Some people also think, then what about my illness? I still have to solve my problems! But you need to know what the root of your problems is! The root of the problems is that you are walking on the path of this life without hope. If you think that your hope is to be promoted and become wealthy, then take these hopes and experience your problems!

The things that people talk about, such as debts, houses, fame, and educational qualifications are simply not the problems that the author of Hebrews is concerned about. If you insist on the pursuits of this world and experience some grace from God and are healed, do not get on the wrong boat or get on the wrong plane. Here, we are walking on the path that Jesus Christ has opened up for us, a path full of glory in eternity. Our kingdom is not in this world, and our pursuit is not in this world.

Among us, you have received some grace and some healing, but if your pursuit is in this world, I can only pour a bucket of cold water on you and let you do whatever you want! Because your pursuit is in this world, then you can pursue it well. Lest you get on the boat, get on the plane, and want to get off halfway, but you cannot get off.

If you want to walk this path with us, then let us walk it well, never turning back, never retreating. Because ahead, God has prepared for us a destiny full of glory, blessings full of glory, and God has prepared for us a crown of glory in eternity. That is our pursuit. Today, those who are willing to follow Jesus Christ have already experienced His grace. Let us not receive His grace in vain. We must respond to God and tell God that we are determined to walk this path. Like the song that sings, never turn back, I will never retreat.

The author of Hebrews speaks of many things very resolutely. Even when he describes salvation, he says that you are close to being saved, unlike some people who say that I am already saved. Therefore, today we are walking on a one-way road. We will never turn back. We have eaten enough of the sufferings of this world, loving the world to the point that we are very painful, loving to the point of despair, with no hope.

Later, we found hope in Jesus Christ. Why should we go back? Having been rescued from the land of Egypt, the house of slavery, why should we return to Egypt? Why not enter the promised land? This is the theme of Hebrews.

We must learn a lesson from the Israelites

So, as the Holy Spirit says: “Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts as you did in the rebellion, during the time of testing in the wilderness, where your ancestors tested and tried me, though for forty years they saw what I did. That is why I was angry with that generation; I said, ‘Their hearts are always going astray, and they have not known my ways.’ So I declared on oath in my anger, ‘They shall never enter my rest.’

See to it, brothers and sisters, that none of you has a sinful, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God. But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called “Today,” so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness. We have come to share in Christ, if indeed we hold our original conviction firmly to the very end. As it is said: “Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts as you did in the rebellion.” Who were they who heard and rebelled? Were they not all those Moses led out of Egypt?

> With whom was He angry for forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose bodies fell in the wilderness? And to whom did He swear that they would not enter His rest, but to those who did not obey? So we see that they were not able to enter because of their unbelief. (Hebrews 3:17-19)

In Hebrews, the Israelites who died in the wilderness are described as those whom God was displeased with, those who provoked God to anger, whose hearts were always astray, and who did not understand God's ways. That generation of Israelites witnessed unprecedented miracles, yet they all died in the wilderness. Did they return to Egypt? No. If any of you are thinking of leaving the church to return to the world, rest assured, I will never look for you again. We do not do that. I can only tell you that it is not the way. Why? Because it is a house of slavery!

Have we not suffered enough in this world? Why else would you believe in the Lord? So, in Exodus, these forty years in the wilderness are described as a time when they constantly dreamed of returning to Egypt. **These people had one characteristic: they did not have the determination to return to Egypt; they did not have the faith to retreat; they did not have the faith to move forward.** As a result, these people lacked faith in everything they did.

What was their pursuit? It was the pursuit of their bellies, the pursuit of living; living was the most important thing to them. In the end, all these people were struck down by God in the wilderness, and only Joshua and Caleb survived. Of the more than 600,000 who were able to wield weapons, only Joshua and Caleb entered the Promised Land because they were devoted to God and never retreated.

Today, you may have just come to believe in the Lord and experienced God's grace. However, I give you a suggestion: you must shatter the dreams of this life and begin to pursue eternal glory. This is my suggestion to you. You also need to know what you came here to do. For example, those Israelites who came out of Egypt, they experienced miracles. What did they come out to do? They just came out confusedly. You should have stayed in Egypt back then!

Do not be confused or aimless among us. You must know what you came here to do. What do you want? If you want to be healed, then do what you should do after you are healed. Today, I want to tell you that you are able to receive because there is a group of people here who despise everything in this world and are pursuing God's glory in eternity. Because of these people, these people are willing to pay the price to serve, so you receive grace. Although you receive grace, no one is morally blackmailing you.

## The Seriousness of Drawing Back and Not Pleasing God

If a person comes out of this world into the kingdom of God and then wants to return to the world, I think it is better not to come out in the first place. There was a person among us who used to raise ghosts and practice witchcraft, which caused him a lot of problems, and he came to us with a body full of illness. Because what he pursued was money, fame, and women, he came among us to pray, his illness was healed, and then he continued to pursue those things, and his illness returned. I think such a person might as well go back; it is better than dying in the wilderness.

Good or bad is only in terms of his living, but in the light of eternity, it is just a fleeting cloud. Today, we need to know that when we learn a lesson from the Israelites, **once we decide to come out of Egypt, to come out of this world, we must cut off our retreat**. Do not think about returning to Egypt or looking back, because that is not the way!

Taking three steps forward and two steps back will ultimately lead to being struck down by God. Why? Because it is not pleasing to God! People are too bold; how dare they provoke God's anger? You can give me any amount of money; I would not dare to provoke God's anger. I want to be a person who pleases God all my life, and I must learn a lesson from the Israelites. Did they return to Egypt? No, it was a one-way street. Did they enter the Promised Land? No. Where did they all go? They all perished in the wilderness and became people who provoked God's anger and displeasure.

Why be a person who is displeasing to God? This is what I have never understood. Sometimes I say, where are these people's heads? Are they growing on their behinds? Do they think with their behinds? What kind of head is this! What kind of head is full of crap. Some people say, how can you say dirty words? They are all vulgar words. My language ability is limited, but I find this word powerful, so I use it like this. I am a rough person, my words are vulgar, but the word I preach is not vulgar.

## Drawing Back and Not Pleasing God

Although it is not yet a matter of provoking God's anger. But today drawing back, tomorrow drawing back, will become provoking God's anger, provoking God's anger will eventually lead to death in the wilderness, which is too miserable! So, in my heart, there is a simple logic: if you are going to be a Christian, be a resounding Christian; if you want to be a pastor, be a resounding pastor. Whatever you do, do it resoundingly—what Northeasterners call gaga's. If you are not going to please God, what did you come here to do? I do not know.

There are many things that do not please God! Some people tell me that they do not like to serve people in hospitals. Why? Because when they do not pray, it is okay, but when they pray, people die very quickly. It turns out they were people who provoked God's anger! Because what they asked for in prayer, God did the opposite.

Why? Because we often do things that do not please God. In my heart, the logic is very simple: if you are a Christian and you do not please God, what are you doing? You must please God anyway! Because drawing back is not pleasing to God. The scripture says,

> “The righteous shall live by faith.” (Galatians 3:11)

That is, the righteous person lives by faith. In God's eyes, people who have faith are called righteous. That is to say, a person who lives by trusting in God is a righteous person in God's eyes. **But even if he is a righteous person, God does not like him if he draws back.**

People who do not believe in God are evil people. Sinners become righteous after they believe in God, and God will not be pleased with a righteous person who draws back. Some people among us do not know how much grace there is here. I know very well how long, wide, high, and deep God's grace is. This place truly has God's presence and God's glory. Because I strive to build His church according to God's revelation, God's requirements are very high. If a righteous person draws back, God will not be pleased with him. Is this not very serious?

## Warning of Drawing Back and Perdition

Some people among us have become accustomed to what happens among us and have become old hands. Old hands are like fried dough sticks that have been placed in the refrigerator for ten and a half months, which are hard and tough and not tasty. A saying describes a person as very oily. It means that some people attend meetings, but they have no enthusiasm or pursuit. Day after day, year after year, they also attend prayers and meetings, but the problem is that this person does not grow. **Not growing is also drawing back.**

Among us, newcomers who have experienced various theological systems before see that our theological system is very good. Do we think we know enough? In fact, a person's lifelong striving is still not enough, so how can he draw back?

Today, I tell those old hands, if you have finished reading elementary one in the spiritual level and then read elementary one again, and you have been reading it until you are 20 years old, and you are still reading elementary one with six- or seven-year-olds, are you embarrassed? You have read the first grade so badly that you are older than the teacher and still reading the first grade. People will put a label on you, saying that this child has intellectual problems, and his grades are not included in the teacher's performance evaluation. Is it embarrassing? It is embarrassing! Your classmates have all progressed to junior high school level by level, and you are still reading first grade. It is embarrassing.

Striving to grow is a must. Always staying in one place is drawing back. How can such a person please God? Therefore, I hope that everyone will become a person who pleases God. If everyone becomes a person who pleases God, then will not everyone's problems be solved? **Our God has predestined us to be above and not below, to be the head and not the tail, not by human ability but by God's grace.** Therefore, a person who trusts in God lives by God, and a person who trusts in himself lives by his own hands, which is a curse.

Brothers and sisters, drawing back is because people always think that the things in this world are good, and they always want to pursue the things in this world, and they often look back. The gospel that I preach is that God is going to destroy this world. Someone once said to me: This world is so good; it is a pity to destroy it. I said, Okay, then you can stay in this world. Because I think this world is not good, I think the kingdom of God is better.

Brothers and sisters, we must know what our pursuit is. If we do not belong to the kingdom of God, then we should do well in the kingdom of this world and not run back and forth between the two, because both sides will see you as a foreigner, which is quite distressing. Drawing back is withdrawing into the world, and running forward is towards the kingdom of God, pursuing a better homeland. Because we have taken a dim view of the things in this world, and they are no longer our pursuit.

Everyone should know that if you read Hebrews, you will find that God's requirements are very high. Today's Christians like to talk about salvation, but in Hebrews , there is no clear answer, only a suggestion to strive to pursue and strive to enter into completeness. Therefore, brothers and sisters, let alone drawing back, even if we do not strive to pursue, we are unworthy of the grace God has given us.

## Drawing Back is Perdition

The writer of Hebrews made a conclusion for drawing back: **Drawing back is perdition, and perdition is destruction.** Is this not very serious? This matter was perfectly confirmed by the Egyptians in Exodus. They all came out of Egypt and then wanted to return to Egypt again, but in the end, they did not return to Egypt and died in the wilderness.

The writer of Hebrews set the tone for this very powerfully. Those Israelites who came out of Egypt were thinking about returning to Egypt every day. If Egypt is so good, then why did you come out? If they really returned to Egypt, they would not have the courage, and they would find that the food in their pockets would have been eaten before they even arrived in Egypt.

## Strive to Pursue and Never Draw Back

drawing back is perdition, and perdition is destruction. Therefore, brothers and sisters, I will give you a small reminder today for all those who are not growing. If you have become a very oily old hand, I hope I can wake you up today and then run and strive to pursue this road. After reading Hebrews, you will find that what born again is not the argument of the author of Hebrews:

> Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God, Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment. (Hebrews 6:1-2)

Therefore, **we must strive to leave the beginning of the doctrine of Christ and enter into perfection.** Many Christians do not strive to enter into perfection even at the beginning of the doctrine of Christ, and then they reach Hebrews 6:4:

> For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame. For the earth which drinketh in the rain that cometh oft upon it, and bringeth forth herbs meet for them by whom it is dressed, receiveth blessing from God: But that which beareth thorns and briers is rejected, and is nigh unto cursing; whose end is to be burned. But, beloved, we are persuaded better things of you, and things that accompany salvation, though we thus speak. (Hebrews 6:4-9)

Therefore, brothers and sisters, drawing back is perdition and destruction. Cannot be renewed again unto repentance, how weighty is this statement. If they forsake God, they cannot be renewed again unto repentance. This is a bit heavy. As for how to understand it, everyone should slowly think about it. Today I tell everyone that **those who put their hands to the plow and look back are not fit for the kingdom of God.** Do not draw back, and do not even look back, just move forward. We have created a song called Forward All the Way, the road God has prepared for us is too great.

## Imitate Those Who Have This Kind of Character and Pay Attention to Their End

> Remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of God: whose faith follow, considering the end of their conversation. Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever. (Hebrews 13:7-8)

The writer of Hebrews described a large group of people with this kind of character. Everyone should carefully investigate. God is with these people who please God. God is with them, God calls them their God, God is not ashamed of them, miracles and wonders follow them, and God's grace is always on them. These people never draw back, but strive to pursue and recognize that knowing God is endless.

Striving to pursue may not necessarily be able to know God. If you always stand still or draw back, what is it if it is not perdition and destruction? Despising God's grace, not regarding the precious blood of Jesus Christ as precious blood, but treating it as ordinary, often disgracing God, and not revering God. God is a consuming fire! This is no joke. If everyone hears today's sermon and has a voice of reflection in their hearts, I think this is a good thing. This is the moment to wake you up.

## After Doing God's will, You Can Receive What is Promised

> Remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of God: whose faith follow, considering the end of their conversation. Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever. (Hebrews 13:7-8)

People who do not receive God's promises should know for sure that a considerable part of the reason is because they have not finished doing God's will. If a person does not know God's will, then there is no way to finish doing God's will. What the writer of Hebrews conveys is that **if you finish doing God's will, you can receive what is promised.** If we do not receive God's promise, I will give you a suggestion. I am speaking from my own personal experience of God's promise. If I do not see God's promise, I know I have made a mistake.

If I was very stubborn at that time and thought that this was the way it was, I would not see God's promises today. Many prayers today are not answered by God because they cannot see God's promises. The biggest reason why most prayers are not answered is because they do not do God's will. A church that is not built according to God's word will not be filled with God's glory.

There was a pastor who hated some intellectuals among them because those intellectuals always liked to ask some strange questions. Some people have recently come to our website to listen to sermons, and as they listen, they are also beginning to experience God. They described some things that were very interesting. These intellectuals always like to ask pastors some questions, and that pastor said to them: Stop asking. If you ask any more, you will be disobedient. Therefore, disobedience is very popular in their church, even asking a question will become disobedience, and it is not at all an attitude of seeking to know God.

I am saying these words today not for anything else. Our pastors must adjust. If we know, we must tell people that this is how we see it. If we do not know, we will tell people that we do not know about this matter and we can explore it together. **This is an attitude of seeking. Knowing God's will is the first part of doing God's will, finishing God's will is the thing that we can receive.**

**The second part is that you know God's will, you do God's will, but you do not finish it. You do not have the patience to wait and you give up. That is a lack of faith. So, persevere in your faith until God's promise is fulfilled, and God will never delay.**

> “For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry. Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.” (Hebrews 10:37-38)

Back then, when you were waiting for God's promise, you drew back before the promise was fulfilled, so where did you go to see it? I cannot see it! Today, everyone must thoroughly understand the matter of drawing back. I hope that brothers and sisters will remove the bad habit of drawing back from our character. If we do not understand God's will, we will understand it thoroughly. If we do God's will, we will finish it completely and never draw back.

God is faithful. Jesus Christ is unchangeable from now until forever. How He was in the past is how He is today. How He saved us in the past is how He saves us today. Brothers and sisters, **develop a character of never drawing back.** God will not get it wrong. Persist a little longer, and God's promise will not be delayed. Never ask when God will come.

Start to recognize that God is a faithful God. The most important thing is that we finish doing God's will, come out of the wrong logical system and belief system, and walk in God's will. Develop a character of never drawing back, not in the stock market, not in fame and fortune, not in corruption, not in competition, but in the pursuit of eternal glory.

## Shatter the Worldly Value System and Run Towards Heavenly Glory

Let us completely shatter the worldly value system. When you completely shatter the worldly value system, you will have comfort and joy in your heart, and then run this glorious path of heaven with such joy. Since this is a path full of God's glory, let us keep running forward, strive to pursue, and grow into the fullness of Jesus Christ, and never give up until we see God's glory.

I boldly make a prophecy to you today that with this character, it is difficult for you not to experience God. God's glory must be manifested through you. No matter how challenging the road ahead is, God will be with us until the end of the world. Amen!
