Introduction
Hello everyone. Today, we continue with the fifth lecture on the Theology of Victory in Spiritual Warfare. We often delude ourselves into thinking that our own actions brought about the victory. Perhaps my previous sermons misled you into believing that because we did this or that right, we are somehow remarkable. If that is your takeaway, you have missed the point entirely. That is not my message. My message is singular and absolute: we prevail because we trust in God, and because God goes before us.
The title of this sermon is somewhat long: "The Lord Goes Before Us as a Consuming Fire to Destroy the Enemy." This is something that constantly amazes me. How is it that we triumph in every single battle? Why have we never suffered a defeat? How do we achieve unbroken victory?
You must understand that even when we were weak and small, we were already casting down demons. At the time, I was puzzled. Why didn't the enemy send a more powerful demon to wipe us out once and for all? The answer is simple: our God goes before us, like a consuming fire destroying the enemy. This is a formidable reality.
Upon reflection, I realized my earlier thinking was flawed. I used to think we won simply because we held on for one minute longer than the devil. That is incorrect. The truth is, God goes before us, and we merely follow in His footsteps. God has already decreed the exact timing of the enemy's destruction. Our victory is not a matter of outlasting the devil by sixty seconds; it is because we resolutely follow God, and in doing so, we arrive precisely at the point of victory. This is the correct logic.
Therefore, if you think the Theology of Victory in Spiritual Warfare is about your own achievements, dismiss that notion immediately. God did it all. What did the Israelites do to escape Egypt? Nothing. God did everything. He struck down the firstborn of Pharaoh and of all Egypt, even the firstborn of their livestock, before they were allowed to leave. Even in the wilderness, when the Israelites behaved abominably, it was still God who sustained them.
The hard truth is that we were quite pathetic back then, and we are still quite pathetic now. Yet, I believe my God is rich in grace and mercy, and He will surely lead me to victory. The crucial question is this: do you believe that our God is the God who grants you victory? Can you persist in following Him until that victory is fully realized?
This is a difficult concept for many to grasp because our minds are cluttered with worldly logic. It is just like the Israelites who left Egypt; until the day they died, they never understood that the Lord God was fighting ahead of them. It was never about their own efforts; they only needed to follow.
Why is human logic so difficult to reform? They understood it clearly when leaving Egypt, yet lost all comprehension at the Red Sea. They understood it again after crossing, only to forget it when there was no water. Every time they faced a crisis, their understanding failed. What kind of intellect is this? It is either structurally defective or utterly muddled. Upon deeper reflection, I realized the cause: they were deeply contaminated by the values of the world.
In China, people often gather in small groups to watch Chinese chess. In that game, the most useless piece is the General. We assume the General is the most important, yet he is the most helpless. The entire game revolves around protecting this helpless General from being captured. I used to wonder: what kind of game is this? The General should be charging at the front, stronger than the Chariot, the Cannon, or the Horse. That would make sense.
This is true not only of Chinese chess but also of Western chess. The King is the weakest piece, requiring constant protection from all sides. If we view God through this lens, we treat Him like a chess King that we must protect. Once you adopt this mindset, you are finished; you have allowed worldly logic to corrupt your thinking.
In history, an emperor who personally led his troops into battle was considered formidable, but such emperors were rare. Whether in Korea, the Sino-Vietnamese border, or the Sino-Indian border, the commanders always stayed safely in the rear. But our God is not a helpless chess King or a cowardly general. Our God charges at the very front.
This completely overturns our conventional thinking. When God is at the front, no one can stand against Him. This is why we triumph every single time. Our victory is not because we protect God, but because God protects us. Once this logical paradigm is shifted, the implications are immense.
Consider our prayer session this morning. What did I actually do? From this distance, I have no physical power over you. It was not my doing, nor was it yours. It was our God looking into the spiritual realm, seeing a minor demon clinging to your arm, and removing it. This is our God. His Spirit moves across the entire earth. When we declare His word and lift our hands, His Spirit moves. Weakness vanishes; back pain is healed; urethritis is cured. It is absolutely extraordinary.
Our previous understanding was entirely wrong, shaped by worldly thinking. Let me tell you, the ways of the world are the exact opposite of the ways of God. God does not send us to the front lines as cannon fodder, nor is He cannon fodder Himself. The enemy is the cannon fodder. Therefore, we should confidently and joyfully anticipate the day of victory. Your only duty is to follow.
God has already destroyed the enemy ahead of you. You might ask, "Why haven't I seen it?" Let me tell you a story. There are many things you cannot see. Your physical eyes cannot perceive the operations of the spiritual realm. Why is a certain martial artist so incredibly powerful, capable of performing superhuman feats? What is the underlying cause?
It is because of the spirit residing within him. If you cast out that spirit, he loses all his power. Even if he were three meters tall, he would be nothing but a heap of flesh. Even at five meters tall, he remains just a larger heap of flesh. That is the reality.
A Tsinghua University graduate, who later became an online influencer, shared a story about his roommate—a sheer genius. This roommate never studied, yet always topped the exams. When others prepared rigorously for financial certifications like the CFA, he did not bother to study. He merely flipped through the textbook two days before the exam and passed effortlessly. Everyone admired him.
In truth, it was a spirit on him that made him so capable. Can you grasp this? His flipping through books was mere showmanship; the spirit within him possessed the actual capability. When a martial artist trains to become the undisputed champion of the world, it is because the spirit of the supreme martial artist has descended upon him.
This is my deduction. Ponder it carefully, but do not envy such things. The descendants of Cain became the pioneers of various industries—masters of music, singing, and metallurgy. They were highly skilled because the spirits of these ancestral masters possessed them.
Ten years ago, I encountered a case while praying for a sister. The entity inside her began to manifest. Normally, she sang completely out of tune. But when this demon manifested, it identified itself to me as "Xiao Qing." To my astonishment, it began performing Chinese opera right in front of me. The hand gestures and arm movements were highly professional. The singing was incredibly beautiful. This demon was residing within her.
When I commanded it to leave, it refused, claiming it had nowhere else to go. I suggested it go to a nightclub, but it declined. When I asked where it wanted to go, it replied that it wanted to go to a church with a worship team. I named a specific church, but it said, "I do not like that church; it is too unsophisticated. I prefer a more modern one." I tell you, when people are possessed by these spirits, they exhibit extraordinary abilities. This explains the phenomenon.
How does this relate to our topic? If you cast out the demon from a highly formidable martial artist, that person is reduced to a mere lump of flesh, waiting to be defeated. His prowess existed solely because of the spirit within him. The operations of the spiritual realm are profound.
Without spiritual eyes, you will fail to see that the spirit has departed and that he is no longer formidable. You will remain intimidated by his giant stature, which is foolish. Is an ox powerful? Yet, it ends up as a steak on our dining table. An ox is stronger and larger than you, but it is useless; it is ultimately just meat.
In the early days of our church, we invited a man whose life story was later made into a movie. He was a famous and highly successful gambling king in Southeast Asia. His father was a compulsive gambler. From a young age, he disliked school and preferred to gamble with his friends, just like his father. When they had no money, they would gamble for a single cent. As they got more money, they gambled for ten cents, and then for a dollar.
When he was around eighteen or nineteen, he suddenly heard a voice in his ear saying, "I will make you win every bet." He listened and went to gamble. He drew his cards: a two of diamonds, a three of clubs, and a five of spades—a terrible hand. Yet, the voice commanded him: "Bet! Bet!" How could anyone bet on such a hand? But he obeyed and placed his bet.
When he revealed his cards, they had transformed into four Aces. Who swapped the cards? No one knows. It was done in the spiritual realm. Can a camera capture this? No. Spiritual matters cannot be filmed; they are supernatural. He won every single bet without knowing how, spending his days gambling. He was exactly like the characters in gambling movies who fly in on helicopters to high-stakes games.
He won consistently until one day, the spirit left him. From that moment on, he lost every bet. He had amassed about twenty million Singapore dollars. In those days, a landed property cost only two to three hundred thousand dollars; twenty million could buy a hundred of them. After the spirit left, he lost everything and ran up a debt of three million dollars.
Owing the casino three million dollars, he was declared bankrupt in Singapore and blacklisted. In despair, he decided to jump from his building. He leaped, and then lost consciousness. When he opened his eyes, three hours had passed. He had not fallen to the ground; he was still on his balcony. Many asked him, and I asked him myself: "Did you jump or not?" He replied, "I jumped. How I ended up back on the balcony, I do not know."
Waking up on the balcony three hours later, he heard his brother, who was a pastor, knocking on the door. He let his brother in, who then led him to Christ. Later, when Singapore built its casinos, they needed him to counsel gambling addicts. Despite his poor academic background, he eventually became a pastor. Thank God, he did a decent job.
If you open your spiritual eyes, you will realize that the flesh is nothing; the spirit is everything. If the Spirit of God goes before us and destroys the spirits operating behind our enemies, a man who was once the greatest in the world will instantly become the least. A man who was once the richest will become the most heavily indebted. The spiritual realm dictates physical reality.
Consider Joshua on the battlefield. When Moses raised his hands, Joshua prevailed; when Moses lowered his hands, the Amalekites prevailed. Was it Joshua's sword or his martial skill that decided the battle? No. It was a contest between the spirit behind the Amalekites and our God.
The spirit behind the Amalekites was certainly stronger than Joshua, but our God is infinitely stronger than any Amalekite spirit. Therefore, the battle was never Joshua's to fight; it was God's. When Moses raised his hands, the Spirit of God—perhaps with His heavenly hosts, or indeed God Himself—struck down the Amalekites, rendering their guiding spirits utterly powerless.
The same was true for the Canaanites. However, the Israelites lacked spiritual vision, much like many of us today. They saw giants and panicked. But if you open your spiritual eyes, you see only a heap of flesh. Once the underlying spirit is cast out, even a giant of three or five meters is nothing but useless flesh.
We must open our spiritual eyes and reconstruct our logic of warfare. The Lord God goes before us, destroying the enemy like a consuming fire. Once you see this spiritually, what is left to fear? Follow Him and claim the fruits of victory. To focus on the giants while remaining blind to God is the ultimate folly. Fearing everything except God is a true tragedy.
Depression is not a mere psychological condition; it is a demon. Cancer is a demon. Diabetes is a demon. Blindness is caused by a spirit of blindness; headaches by a spirit of headache; cancer by a spirit of cancer; urethritis by a spirit of urethritis. This is why Jesus healed them instantly—He cast out the spirits. A man lame from birth was bound by a spirit of lameness. Once that spirit was cast out, he was healed. You cannot comprehend this through physical eyes.
Do you see your difficulties? Behind every difficulty is an evil spirit. If you fear the difficulty, you fail to fear God—which is absurd. The greatest tragedy of mankind is the failure to realize that victory in the spiritual realm dictates victory in the physical world. Take the Israelites: they were spiritually blind and foolish, their minds utterly muddled, unable to comprehend the authority Moses possessed.
They even tried to stone Moses. What kind of people were they? You cannot harm Moses. Even if you threw stones at him, the stones would veer off course because the Spirit of God was upon him. Some people fear giants but do not fear Moses; they fear evil spirits but do not fear God. What kind of warped logic is that?
We must establish a firm foundation: our God is all-powerful and awesome, going before us to destroy our enemies. Fear no difficulty; fear only God. If you fear God, your problems will diminish. If you do not fear God, your problems will multiply.
Our God goes before us like a consuming fire, destroying the enemy to bring us into the Promised Land. He does this to confirm the oath He swore to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. This is our God. It is not because we are good; indeed, we are quite flawed. We are no match for the Amalekites. But our God is infinitely greater than them. In this world, I have absolute confidence to claim God's promises because I know, with absolute clarity, that our God fights before us.
This was the summation of Moses' entire life. Do not treat this as mere storytelling. Establish this foundation deep within you: our God fights before us, and victory is one hundred percent guaranteed. Do not fear or retreat in the face of difficulty. I assure you, God will lead you to victory. We have fought many battles and cast out many demons. If the demons were truly powerful, they would have destroyed me in my sleep. But God protects us.
Scripture
"Hear, O Israel: You are now about to cross the Jordan to go in and dispossess nations greater and stronger than you, with large cities that have walls up to the sky. The people are strong and tall—Anakites! You know about them and have heard it said: 'Who can stand up against the Anakites?' But be assured today that the Lord your God is the one who goes across ahead of you like a devouring fire. He will destroy them; he will subdue them before you. And you will drive them out and destroy them quickly, as the Lord has promised you.
"After the Lord your God has driven them out before you, do not say to yourself, 'The Lord has brought me here to take possession of this land because of my righteousness.' No, it is on account of the wickedness of these nations that the Lord is going to drive them out before you. It is not because of your righteousness or your integrity that you are going in to take possession of their land; but on account of the wickedness of these nations, the Lord your God will drive them out before you, to accomplish what he swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob." (Deuteronomy 9:1-5)
Prayer
Heavenly Father, reconstruct the foundation of our faith. Grant us spiritual wisdom to know that You fight for us and destroy our enemies. Mold us, Lord, and remove our bad habits and everything that displeases You. May we trust in You alone, witness Your mighty deeds, and see Your glory fill the earth. Amen.
Deuteronomy: God Goes Before You to Destroy Your Enemies
O God, guide us. Direct our eyes to behold Your glory. Show us mercy; grant us Your favor. Let this congregation of brothers and sisters be raised up, robust and resolute, like Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob of old. Grant that we may be a people who find favor in Your sight. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
Scripture Background
Deuteronomy was written by Moses on the eve of his death, just before the Israelites crossed the Jordan River to enter the Promised Land. When he wrote this, he had already led them through the wilderness for forty long years! These forty years were marked by both God's abundant grace and His righteous wrath.
In writing Deuteronomy, Moses distilled the absolute core of spiritual reality. It is not by your own prowess, but because the Lord your God goes before you to utterly destroy your enemies. Do not ask, "Pastor, why haven't I seen this?" You have not seen it because you have fallen too far behind; you are completely out of range.
Moses summarized his life's work into what I call the theology of victorious warfare. It is not about building physical brawn or mastering martial arts. Do you need to train? Yes, you do. But the most critical training is in your spiritual foundation.
Look at me—barely a hundred-odd pounds. If you put my flesh on a scale, I do not look like a warrior. In the spiritual realm, I am still a flawed, unclean vessel. How then do we triumph? It is simple: God goes before us to secure the victory. It is not because we are good enough; it is because the inhabitants of that land are utterly wicked. Moses’ summary is brilliant; it gives us immense hope.
Furthermore, God swore an oath to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and He delivers on that promise to us. We receive grace because of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob! We receive this grace because Jesus Christ went before us, paid the price on the cross, died, was buried, and rose again. It has very little to do with your own performance.
Following this passage, Moses reminds them that for forty years, God led them to inherit the Promised Land—not because of their righteousness. Mark this well: you are a stiff-necked people, constantly rebellious, constantly provoking God to anger. You provoked Him so severely that He nearly destroyed you. You rebelled and sinned against Him repeatedly.
When you think about it, that is the cold, hard truth. They could not see God's hand at work, nor could they discern the spiritual realm. They failed to see God's sovereign purpose for them. They saw only the size of their enemies, blind to the greatness of God, believing He had brought them out merely to be slaughtered.
Once out of Egypt, facing the Red Sea, they complained: "Were there no graves in Egypt?" What insolence! Yet they are fragile. If God were to lift a single finger, they would be obliterated. Yet, God is rich in grace, mercy, and immense patience.
After crossing the Red Sea, they reached Marah and complained again. At every single stop, they grumbled. It is exhausting. It teaches me a hard lesson. I tell God: "I must emulate You. Without Your patience, dealing with such difficult people would be impossible."
Moses wrote Deuteronomy to correct their delusions. Do not think for one moment that forty years in the wilderness has made you perfect. Do not think you did not provoke God's wrath, or that you are no longer a stiff-necked people. You still are.
So Moses laid bare all their faults. If you have the time, read Deuteronomy 9:6-29 again. Stiff-necked, provoking God to wrath, facing destruction. At Taberah, Massah, Kibroth-hattaavah, and Kadesh-barnea—it was one continuous provocation of God's anger.
In this life, you must remember: it is not the devil who is powerful; it is God. The danger is not provoking the devil, but provoking God. Do not assume that because you are in a victorious, fighting church, you are safe. No, it is only because of God's abundant grace and mercy that we have not been wiped out.
When God resolved to destroy them, Moses fell prostrate before Him for forty days and forty nights. He pleaded with God to remember His covenant with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. He acknowledged they were a stubborn and rebellious people, but begged God to spare them for the sake of His own name, so the nations would not say He led them out only to slaughter them in the wilderness. That was the sole reason.
Therefore, we must constantly remind ourselves: we are a stiff-necked, rebellious people, prone to provoking God's wrath, deserving of destruction. But we have an intercessor. Moses was not boasting; he was telling the Israelites the brutal truth of who they were, hoping they would reform, align themselves, and live up to the standard of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, becoming spiritually discerning like Moses himself.
The Lord Your God Himself Goes Before You to Destroy Your Enemies
In battle, bullets do not have eyes. But God has already secured the victory in the spiritual realm. Yet we foolishly think we did something right. This is simply God's nature. He knows our weaknesses; He knows we cannot defeat the Anakites on our own. Therefore, He Himself goes before us.
If your obstacles seem larger than you, do not fear. They are never larger than God. Our God goes before you to destroy them. I look back at the past years—I am not strong, yet we triumphed. I used to wonder: why do the demons fear us? It is because God has pinned them down.
I thank God. If I am to boast, I will boast in my faith in Him. I will boast that I strive to emulate Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Moses. It is not because I am good, but because God is good. I know my God goes before me like a consuming fire to destroy the enemy. When demons encounter me, they are destroyed because God is in front of me.
Let us ask ourselves: is God going before you? This is a serious question. If God is too far ahead of you, you will lose sight of Him and fall behind. Believe that He is leading the charge, and keep pace.
In Christian books and churches, people often say, "Pastor, I am exhausted from ministry. I need to step back and rest." They call it a "retreat." But when I search the Scriptures, I find that those who step back to rest usually stay back permanently.
What does "stepping back" mean? Scripture says those who shrink back are destroyed. Think about it: the main army is marching forward with God in the lead. If you linger behind to rest, what happens to you? The enemy will capture you. Make no mistake about it.
So, my brothers and sisters, do not buy into this nonsense of "stepping back to rest." I used to wonder why those who stepped back ended up ruined. The Bible is clear: shrinking back leads to destruction. Destruction is no laughing matter; it means being seized by the enemy.
Do not retreat. Straighten your feeble knees and strengthen your weak bodies. Stand firm. Do not think you can find rest by idling. Those who die are those who lie down for a long time before they expire. Keep up with the march; that is how you overcome exhaustion. Even if you are tired, press on.
Sometimes I feel a sense of helplessness. I desperately want you to understand this principle: the more you idle, the more you deteriorate, until you finally perish. Yet I hesitate to speak too harshly, lest I crush an already fragile spirit. Is your foundation secure? Yes, it is! The Lord your God goes before you to destroy your enemies.
Why do people become weak? Why do they lack strength? It is demonic influence. The devil wants to destroy you. But if I speak too harshly, you offend easily and fall into judging good and evil. If I speak too softly, it has no effect. Lately, I have been reflecting on whether I should adopt a softer approach, offering mere emotional validation.
Not Because You Are Good, But Because of the Wickedness of Those Nations
This is a fascinating point. Was Canaan not given to the Canaanites? Yes, it was. Then why did God destroy them? Because they were wicked. They provoked God's wrath, so He wiped them out and brought the Israelites in.
In the 3,500 years since Moses, we see that God nearly destroyed the Israelites as well, giving the land to others. Many Christians in our midst did not come to faith through us; they came from other churches because God brought them here. It is not because we are superior, but because those churches became utterly compromised and rotten.
We must constantly remind ourselves: we are not good enough. We are still flawed. But God, in His abundant grace and mercy, is bringing us into the Promised Land. If a person thinks highly of himself, he offends God and will fail to enter the inheritance.
Those Israelites who perished in the wilderness died without ever understanding why. They thought they were decent people. They died in ignorance because of their self-righteousness, which highly provokes God's wrath. Holding onto your own standards and being utterly self-opinionated is detestable to God.
A church that does not instill a sense of urgency in its people is a dangerous place. I want our brothers and sisters to have a healthy sense of crisis. This urgency will spur us to run the race with all our might, growing into the full stature of Christ. It is not because you are good, but because you were wretched, and because of the wickedness of the nations.
Do not become complacent when people flock to our church from elsewhere, thinking, "We are incredible; we are a victorious, fighting church." We are still far from where we need to be. This realization should drive us to pursue God relentlessly. Do you have this sense of urgency? From what I see, many of you are still drifting along, lax and undisciplined.
It pains me deeply. As I prepared this sermon, tears came to my eyes. "O God, remember Your covenant sworn to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. You brought a flawed people like us to the Promised Land. Grant us a sense of urgency. Let us not waste our days drifting and undisciplined, but let us redeem the time."
Know That You Are a Rebellious, Wrath-Provoking People
As the Israelites stood on the threshold of the Promised Land, and Moses was about to hand over leadership to Joshua, he felt a profound heaviness. I felt that same weight while preparing this message. Moses wrote plainly: "You are a rebellious people, a stiff-necked nation. God wanted to destroy you, and He only spared you because I pleaded and cried out to Him!"
I often say some people are only brave within their own walls—domestic tyrants, local champions, but utterly useless when facing real external challenges. They are bold when challenging me, but utterly paralyzed when facing the devil. They had the courage to stone Moses and crucify Jesus, but when confronted with giants, they lose their nerve.
You may not understand why I weep. It is because I must confront my own shortcomings. I feel unworthy. Moses was magnificent! Faced with a crowd ready to stone him, he still interceded for them every time God threatened to destroy them. I tell God, "I fall short, but I deeply desire to have that heart." May God have mercy on me. That is the kind of people God desires.
I pray that God will raise up many like Moses in our midst—leaders who can bring people into the Promised Land and have the courage to tell them plainly: "You must realize you are a rebellious, stubborn, stiff-necked people who constantly provoke God's wrath!" Once you realize this, you will stop relying on yourselves, follow God, and claim His victory.
Know That It Is Because of Moses' Earnest Intercession Before God
Understand this: it was because Moses pleaded desperately before God. When he saw that God was about to destroy them, he fell prostrate for forty days and forty nights. This passage moves me to tears. What a towering figure of a man!
O God, raise up men like Moses among us—men who will plead earnestly before You, not for a single day, but for forty days and nights. These are individuals who have consecrated their entire lives to God. Our generation desperately needs such magnanimous, selfless leaders.
Though they wanted to stone him, he prayed for them. Though they opposed him, he remained profoundly humble before God. Moses did not write this to boast. He recorded it to say, "This is how I stood before God; go and do likewise."
Moses reminded God: "Do not destroy them, for they are Your inheritance, whom You redeemed with Your great power and outstretched arm. Remember Your servants Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Overlook the stubbornness, wickedness, and sin of this people. Otherwise, the nations will say You led them out only to destroy them in the wilderness. They are Your people."
So, my brothers and sisters, do you want to remain a wretched people, or will you strive to be like Moses? We must broaden our hearts. Moses spent forty years wandering in the wilderness, enduring these difficult people without a single word of complaint.
Moses saw their rebellion and broke the stone tablets in anger. God is calling us today—not to lead a perfect people, but to lead a flawed people into the Promised Land, so that we may all be transformed into the likeness of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. This is the very core of our vision and mission.
Because God Wants to Confirm the Oath He Swore to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob
God revealed: "I will bring your descendants into this Promised Land." Yet, how few of those descendants actually resembled Abraham, Isaac, or Jacob. Eventually, they even crucified Jesus. May God overlook our wickedness and establish His covenant with us.
Acknowledge that we are a stubborn, flawed people. Repent. Know that God goes before us. Every victory you have achieved was by His grace alone. It was never because we were good enough, but because of God.
Because of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and through faith in Jesus Christ, we have become heirs to the promise. But will we remain rebellious heirs? Even as such, you can still claim God's promises. But if you claim them and remain unchanged, you have failed.
We have experienced so much of God's grace and claimed so many of His promises. Are we still going to remain stiff-necked and rebellious?
Conclusion
Rebuild your foundation. God goes before us to fight our battles. Strengthen your feeble knees and weak arms. This foundation is Jesus Christ. Our God fights for us. With this faith, victory is absolute—one hundred percent guaranteed.
What we must demolish is the soft, weak, and indecisive heart within us. Do not retreat at the first sign of difficulty, forgetting that God has already destined you for victory. Stop looking at the giants; fix your eyes on God. When you look at the giants through the eyes of faith, you realize God has already delivered them into our hands. Amen.
That concludes our sermon. May God bless you all.
