【Sermon】- Seeking God Series (2) - If You Seek Him, He Will Be Found by You

2026-02-22 2

Introduction

Good morning, everyone. Let us continue with the second part of the series on seeking God. What is the second part about? It is that if you seek Him, He will surely let you find Him. You know that God is a God who hears prayers, isn't He? But there are countless unanswered prayers, aren't there? However, it is said that if you seek God, you will surely find Him, but many have not found Him. They found cancer, they found sickness, and they are suffering. God is a God of healing, but many are not healed.

In fact, Chinese Mingding Doctrine has done a lot of work on healing and deliverance, and later solved the problem of healing and deliverance. In fact, healing and deliverance from illness is a common thing among us. Why are there so many who are not healed? Since it is said to build a glorious church of God, but you see very few glorious churches, don't you? Many strange things are happening. You say that God is a God who blesses, but you see God's anger as the norm. Don't you find it strange? What is the key problem? Is there a problem with God's promises? Are all these things that God said false?

Seek and you shall find, why haven't I found it? Ask and it will be given to you, why haven't my prayers been answered? God is a God of healing, why haven't I been healed? Then they find a series of reasons to explain. Explain what? Explain that God is not faithful. So what is the problem? The problem lies in the word "seek". Thinking that you are seeking when you are not seeking, what do you think? Thinking that he has been working hard to seek when he has not been seeking. What do you think will happen when people think they are seeking when they are not seeking?

Let's talk about children in school. Do you think they go to school? Let's talk about it. Finally, we found a school for the child, bought a school district house, spent a lot of money, and then the child went to school. You have all been to school, tell me, what did you do when you went to school? You thought he went to school, what did he go to do? Many parents spend a lot of money to get their children into university, but they come out as useless people, don't they? Sitting in that chair, the teacher is talking above, and he is in a daze below, isn't he? He went to be in a daze.

I am filled with emotion, isn't it? Aren't many of us who graduated from university useless people? Is sitting in that chair in school called going to school and studying? No. Do you think you are seeking just by coming to church to listen to a sermon? No, isn't it? It is a tragedy to think that you are walking in God's will when you are not walking in God's will. It is a tragedy to build a club and think that you are building a church full of God's glory, isn't it? So people think too much. In fact, I really don't agree with sending children to school to sit there in a daze. I don't agree with being in a daze, don't misunderstand. Thinking that he went to school. In fact, I have a very deep understanding of the word "seek". You must know that one of the most important concepts of Chinese Mingding Doctrine is seeking.

Yesterday, I was training a sister to draw a picture, so I asked her to draw it. She had been drawing for several days. I walked around her, going in and out, and I looked at her drawing. From beginning to end, she didn't ask me why she didn't draw well. I was very emotional in my heart. She was drawing desperately, so I asked her if she was okay. She said, "I'll practice more, I'll practice more." Later, I couldn't help it, so I took the initiative and said, "Come, come, I'll draw one for you." She had been drawing for several days, and I drew it in ten minutes. I finished drawing in ten minutes, and I showed it to her. She looked at it and thought, why does the teacher's drawing look so pleasing to the eye? I said, if you draw like this, you won't be able to draw well in your whole life.

"I'll practice more, I'll practice more." Many brothers and sisters among us have this attitude, thinking that "I'll be proficient if I practice more." What can you practice if you draw wrong very proficiently? Isn't it? You draw wrong very proficiently, do wrong very proficiently, work hard to do the work wrong, work hard to draw the picture badly, it is of no benefit. I often say, what is the benefit of doing wrong very proficiently? Why? Because you are not seeking. She is practicing there, practicing wrong and drawing wrong very proficiently, that proficiency is of no benefit. In fact, I have been waiting, everyone must know, I like to arrange a job, after arranging it, I say do this, then I am waiting. Do you think that I am the kind of boss who just wants the results when I arrange a job for you? I am not.

I am a boss who likes to train subordinates very much. I give you this job, and I am waiting for you to come back and say to me, "Teacher, I understand what you want me to do, the goal is this, the method is this, and the plan is this." When you say it, I give you a thumbs up and give you a like, go and do it. It should be close to the mark, and there will definitely be results. I am still waiting, I am waiting and waiting and no one comes to ask. Oh my God, I am really being trained. In the past few years, I tell you, in the end, I have been trained to have patience. My heart of patience has really been trained very well by the brothers and sisters. Sometimes I can't bear it and my temper flares up, it is really annoying. This matter, you think people have lived for decades, and in the past they have always been doing things wrong and doing them very proficiently, don't you think this is ruined?

Oh, these little pastors among us, I say if you have problems, come to me with problems. Guess what, does anyone come to me? No, there are no problems. If there are no problems, I say do you have problems? No problems, everything is fine. I am afraid of this "everything is fine", I am most afraid of "everything is fine". How can you improve if "everything is fine"? Isn't it? What I want to hear most is: "Teacher, I have encountered a problem with this, I have encountered a problem with that, I have been messing around for a long time."

Once I asked, why? In fact, I already knew some of the problems. I asked him, I said, "How is this shepherding going?" He said, "It's fine." I said, "How is it fine?" He said, "Because he told me that everything is fine." People are too lazy to pay attention to you, you know? It is a waste of time to talk to you. Do you understand? Oh my God, you are being fooled and you don't even know it. I am so sad in my heart, I said what kind of brain is this? You are being fooled and you think it's fine, is everything really fine? He asked me, "Teacher, what can I do if people say everything is fine?"

Isn't this a problem? You should have asked me earlier. Teacher, he told me that everything is fine. If it were you, what would you do? I think it's fine, what did you do that made it fine? I ask this question, is there anything wrong with it? What did you do that made your business good? Can your business be good if you don't do anything? Did your child get better by himself if you didn't do anything? Are you fooling foreigners? When I ask this question, the other party will definitely be stuck, without even thinking about it. If you come to me, how can I not ask?

Oh, I am filled with emotion. Why did this little pastor say that? If it were you, what would you do? Because he thought I would be like him, and think it's fine too. Of course, it's fine if everyone is fine, but it won't be fine later. How can he look up to you? Isn't it? So Chinese Mingding Doctrine doesn't talk much about obedience. You rarely hear me ask you to obey, do you? You rarely hear it. There is a little bit, but it is rarely emphasized.

Why? How can you obey like this? You can't obey. Sometimes I am very emotional, do you know what I am emotional about? I am emotional that our little pastor is a Pharaoh, and he asks those who are being shepherded under him to be Joseph. After listening to this, everyone may be laughing in their hearts, the teacher is talking about what is in my heart. Oh, I am being asked to be Joseph, but he is a Pharaoh. I am really emotional.

Brothers and sisters, don't worry, the church is for your growth. I want to give everyone a placebo, you don't have to be afraid. Why? Because you have to seek. You say teacher, I have encountered a problem now, I won't blame you for discerning good and evil, I will give everyone some comfort. I won't say that you discern good and evil from your pastor, and I won't allow our colleagues to say that you discern good and evil from your pastor, isn't it? I will say that your little pastor is forcing you to discern good and evil from him, right? Does everyone have some comfort? Oh teacher, you understand me too well, my pastor is asking me to be Joseph, but he is a Pharaoh.

It doesn't matter, don't keep problems to yourself. How can I ask you to be Joseph? Isn't it? I can't even do it, how can I ask you to be Joseph? I can only say that you have problems, don't keep them to yourself. Do you understand? We have some ministries, this person has these troubles with the pastor and his little pastor, he went to report to the teaching assistant of his ministry. Why? Because he doesn't dare to report to the Pharaoh.

Wouldn't it be troublesome to report to the Pharaoh? Our little pastors have to seek, and know that they are often corrected, it is not fine, it is very troublesome. Oh, I thank God. To seek God, Chinese Mingding Doctrine is realistic, to seek God, often not corrected. Later, we recently have this little pastor AI, everyone go and ask, maybe the little pastor is not so Pharaoh. I have been thinking about how to solve the problem of "everything is fine". I tell you, I asked N many people and they all said everything is fine, oh my God. I said I want to solve the problem of "everything is fine", what is everything fine? God is in heaven, what if God sees that it is not fine? You still think it is fine, isn't that self-satisfaction?

Oh, the shepherding of Chinese Mingding Doctrine is too good, what is so good about it? It is not good. If one day we think that everything is fine, it will be ruined, a person's life is ruined by this "everything is fine". My mother asked my younger brother, how are your exams recently? Everything is fine, everything is fine every time. My mother said can you get 100 points? Yes, I can get 100 points, several subjects add up to 100 points, everything is fine. But thank the Lord, my parents are very open-minded parents, that's fine too, the child has no pressure.

Oh, God is in heaven, we are on earth, we have to seek Him, why do we have to seek Him? Because we feel that it is not very good. You know that Chinese Mingding Doctrine is very, very dissatisfied with our own shepherding system. If I am satisfied, God will be dissatisfied; if I am not satisfied, God will nod in heaven, um, that's fine, isn't it? I think it's fine, God thinks it's not good, then how can I be good? Oh, God is a master, isn't He? You come to a master to show off, God, look how well I have done, what do you think will happen? Not good. God says look, this is also a problem, that is also a problem, you can't do it like this.

Why? Because God is also a high God among the gods, how good it is to have Him to seek. We are so low, standing at such a low height, we are simply in a depression, isn't it? There is a place in Beijing called Xiwadi, do you know? I came out of Xiwadi, so I have to look up to God and seek Him, so seeking God requires a correct attitude. "Everything is fine" is not an attitude of seeking, isn't it? What is attitude? Is what I am doing right? Is what I am doing right? It is useless to use force, isn't it? Doing wrong all day long, doing wrong very proficiently, working hard, it is useless. Building a church is an extremely rigorous work, if you don't seek God, what are you seeking?

Oh, thank God, I came out of Xiwadi, I am not like some people, they are in Donggaodi, what do people in Donggaodi seek? I am in Xiwadi, if I don't seek, how can I do it? So "everything is fine" is a very serious problem, then what else are you seeking?

Teacher, in fact, what I do is all according to your example, if you follow my example, you will still be fooled? Taking shepherding as an example, is it fine? Far from it, isn't it? Everyone should like to ask this kind of question often: "Is what I am doing right?" If I have a pile of documents that I have written, and I go to my boss. My boss will ask me: "Is what you wrote right?" I look at him, he looks at me, our eyes meet, isn't that stupid? Isn't it? Is what I am doing right? Before I go, I must answer one thing, is what I am doing right? Of course, this job is given to me by the boss, if my boss gives me the job, then I have to understand what the boss wants, isn't it? Then how can I achieve the goal that the boss wants? I have to answer very well.

So I learned a trick from my boss. Is what you are doing right? I don't know, then what are you bringing it for? Isn't it? You bring it to me, am I your secretary? Once my employee printed out the data, he thought it was great to print out a hundred pages. A hundred pages on paper, he came over and put it on my desk: "Boss, this is the data you want." I said: "You printed out a hundred pages of the data I want, is that right?" He looked at me, he didn't know, I didn't know if it was right. Then what are you bringing it to me for? You printed it out and put it on my desk, does it look great? A hundred pages are very thick. You should send me an email, use an Excel spreadsheet, I can at least check it. You printed it out, what are you doing? I said you don't know if it's right, what are you giving it to me for? Am I your secretary?

I tell you, the most annoying thing is this kind of employee, it is really annoying. In the end, the employees trained me, do you think it is looking at the results? Everyone, how do you know if something is right or wrong? Look at the results, what are the results? How do you look at it? How do you look at a hundred pages? I tell you, look at the method, if the method is wrong, it is over. I use this method, this method, this method to make the data, it should be right, isn't it? Although the method is right, it may still be wrong, if the method is wrong, it is all over, isn't it? So I still have a set of methods for working. Some people look at the results, in fact, I tell you, you must look at the method, look at the process.

Are you doing well in your business? Yes, I am. What did you do? Isn't it? How did you manage it? Is your child doing well? Yes, he is. What did you do? How did you manage it? The solution lies in the method, isn't it? How well are you educating your child? Pretty good. What's good about it? Nothing is good. How can it be good without seeking? Isn't it? In fact, many tiger moms, even if they do things right, they don't know how they did it right. Some moms are cat moms, and even if they try, they don't know if they're doing it right or wrong. Some people are born as sheep moms, bleating, isn't it? They don't know if they're doing it right or wrong. Seeking is an attitude, isn't it? Are you doing it right? Explain it to me, but you can't explain it.

Have you all learned it? If your boss asks you, "Are you doing it right?" never say, "I don't know." Therefore, seek and you shall find; this is God's promise to us. If you seek Him, He will let you find Him, do you understand? So, can we cultivate an attitude of seeking? Have you sought? Isn't it? I give you a picture, and then you just draw it haphazardly. Have you sought? I give you a person's appearance, and you just mess it up. Have you sought? Just give me a "pretty good," but what's good about it? Not good at all. Ah, the attitude of seeking is what God wants. God sits on His throne and looks down to see if there are any who seek, any who understand. None. What do you think the proportion is? Are there any who seek? Are there any who understand? What do you think? Our brothers and sisters have a very poor attitude of seeking.

You should explore and seek diligently. There was a person who built a church, but built it into a chaotic mess, full of infighting. He was very dissatisfied. Well, if you build a church into a place of infighting, how can it not be full of infighting? Isn't it? Did you seek? No, you didn't. Later, the person died, not even knowing how he died. People said he died of COVID, but wasn't he actually killed by God? Isn't it? Nadab and Abihu were Aaron's two eldest sons. They messed around, didn't seek, and weren't rigorous. The fire of Jehovah came out from His Ark of the Covenant, from His sanctuary, and burned these two to death—holy fire, burned these two to death. Then He told Aaron not to mourn. Ah, they died without even knowing how they died.

Therefore, in building a church, brothers and sisters, whether you are a small pastor, a pastor, or an ordinary brother or sister, you must seek, you must be rigorous, isn't it? So, have a reverent heart.

Scripture

"As for you, Solomon my son, know the God of your father and serve him with wholehearted devotion and with a willing mind, for the Lord searches every heart and understands every motive behind the thoughts. If you seek him, he will be found by you; but if you forsake him, he will reject you forever. Consider now, for the Lord has chosen you to build a house as the sanctuary. Be strong and do the work." Then David gave his son Solomon the plans for the portico of the temple, its buildings, storehouses, upper rooms, inner rooms and the place of atonement. He gave him the plans for all that he had in mind for the courts of the temple of the Lord and all the surrounding rooms, for the treasuries of the temple of God and for the treasuries for the dedicated things. He gave him instructions for the divisions of the priests and Levites, and for all the work of serving in the temple of the Lord, as well as for all the articles to be used in its service. He designated the weight of gold for all the gold articles to be used in various kinds of service, and the weight of silver for all the silver articles to be used in various kinds of service: the weight of gold for the gold lampstands and their lamps, with the weight for each lampstand and its lamps; and the weight of silver for each silver lampstand and its lamps, according to the use of each lampstand; the weight of gold for each table for consecrated bread; the weight of silver for the silver tables; the weight of pure gold for the forks, sprinkling bowls and pitchers; the weight of gold for each gold bowl; the weight of silver for each silver bowl; and the weight of refined gold for the altar of incense. He also gave him the plan for the chariot, that is, the cherubim whose outstretched wings cover the ark of the covenant of the Lord. David said, “All this I have in writing from the Lord’s hand, and he has given me understanding in all the details of the plan.” (1 Chronicles 28:9-19)

Scripture Background

Last week, we also talked about seeking. This week, it's 1 Chronicles 28, where David instructs his son Solomon to seek. Let me ask you, when he chose Solomon to succeed him as king, what did he assess? He assessed whether this child was a seeker. He couldn't possibly choose a self-righteous son to be his king, do you understand? Actually, David felt very weary in his heart. Why? Look at his eldest son, Amnon—a piece of trash. Look at his second son, his third son, his fourth son. Ah, after looking at them all, he was troubled, do you understand?

Especially his fourth son, Absalom, who sought not God but his throne. Wouldn't that be ruined? He usurped the throne and later died without a burial place. I think David found a son, Solomon, who had this seeking heart. Why? Because he was educated by Bathsheba from a young age. Bathsheba educated Solomon, not David. So, what did David assess in this son? Whether he had a seeking heart. You must know that it's not that if you're always thinking about the throne, the throne will be yours. After being taught, Solomon had a seeking heart, wanting to build a temple for God, seeing his father building God's temple.

Oh, from a young age, he was always exploring with his father, "Is the temple going to be like this or like that?" Ah, this made David very happy. "Ah, I asked God for a son, and finally I got one. Although he's young, look at his cleverness." He liked this son, Solomon, just as Emperor Kangxi liked the young Qianlong. This is truly an amazing thing that God would give me such a good son. Ah, never mind whether it's Bathsheba or Bathsheba Seven or Bathsheba Six, as long as this son is good, it's fine. Actually, I'm telling you, we can't just say anything. Solomon had a slightly close relationship with his mother, but David told Solomon that he should seek.

Before David died, he passed the throne to Solomon. After Solomon ascended the throne, David continued to work as a "retired emperor," arranging various affairs such as priests and Levites, handling things very properly. In 1 Chronicles 22-28, it is recorded that David made many detailed arrangements, teaching Solomon how to act step by step. In chapter 28, David began to tell Solomon that all the materials and affairs were prepared, and he called the child before him, like in a TV series, "Father Emperor is above, your son is all ears."

David said to his son, "As for you, Solomon my son, know the God of your father and serve him with wholehearted devotion and with a willing mind, for the Lord searches every heart and understands every motive behind the thoughts. If you seek him, he will be found by you; but if you forsake him, he will reject you forever. Consider now, for the Lord has chosen you to build a house as the sanctuary. Be strong and do the work." David was most worried about a few things at the time: building the temple of Jehovah God. It's easy to draw it on paper, but it's difficult to build. He was afraid that his son would not be cautious. You are building the temple of Jehovah God, you cannot be negligent.

If Solomon thought, "Why so many details? Change the one pound of gold to half a pound, the eight ounces to five ounces, half a pound eight ounces to half a pound five ounces." David was particularly worried that his son would lack this cautious attitude. I tell our brothers and sisters now, many people are careless and sloppy, doing things with a grimace, and the things they make are crooked and cracked. Isn't this the norm? How many are cautious? How many are rigorous? If you are a rigorous person, would you say everything is fine? Would you be easily fooled?

He was particularly worried that this child would not be rigorous and that he would not seek. What to do when encountering difficulties? When encountering difficulties, you must seek. Because it's easy to draw on paper but difficult to make, this matter is not easy. David was afraid that Solomon would be timid, retreat, and not seek God when encountering difficulties.

This is David's worry. You just do it and you're short an ounce or two. I'm telling you, our brothers and sisters must know, "Why so many problems?" This attitude is the norm among our brothers and sisters. Therefore, the Chinese Mingding Doctrine hopes that brothers and sisters can inherit this rigorous attitude. Doing things haphazardly and carelessly, they still grimace even when they do things right. If they do things wrong, they don't even grimace. Wouldn't that be fatal? Isn't it? Studying Genesis, just study it like that, isn't it? I'm telling you, the most powerful Bible study is the one that doesn't make mistakes, say it once. Do you know? Many people study the Bible like this. The pastor leads the people below to study, reads Genesis once, reads it again after finishing, and then reads each paragraph again after dividing it into paragraphs. Done. What does it mean? Isn't that what it means? Can it be like this? No, it can't.

Ah, a long, long time ago, I was shocked by this passage of Scripture, that David saw that all the details of the work were drawn by the hand of Jehovah to make me understand. Oh my God, I was shocked. Why? Because I was very dissatisfied with the churches I went to. I said, "Is this a church?" Isn't it? Is it? I'm telling you, do you think this problem of mine is a problem? It's also a problem, but you can't say it might be an advantage. But as a member of the church, I don't like going there. Is the pastor doing it right? I don't want to be this kind of watchman. I quietly came out and simply built my own church, don't go and challenge others. What are you challenging for? Isn't it? Anyway, if you ask me, when I look at it, I feel that this thing has not even a bit of Jesus' appearance. Does it have zero point two five points? One-tenth of a point should be there, that's praising them.

So, after coming out to build a church, I read this passage of Scripture called "All this I have in writing from the Lord’s hand, and he has given me understanding in all the details of the plan," and I was immediately shocked. I said, "I understand, God, I seek you." Thank God, God can use me to stand out in such a chaotic Christian logical system and create the Chinese Mingding Doctrine. Where does the Chinese Mingding Doctrine come from? It comes from seeking. The Chinese Mingding Doctrine is a theology of building a church, a theology centered on God, that's how it comes from seeking. So, when I started studying the Bible, oh my God, when the church started to get on the right track, studying Genesis, oh my God, I couldn't understand it, isn't it?

Genesis chapter one, I read it in a daze. I have to tell you, I read Genesis chapter one not a hundred times, not three hundred times, it should be more than a thousand times, read it again and again, read it again and again, read it again and again. I couldn't understand it, I didn't know what it was saying, I really didn't know what it was saying. If you go and listen to my study of Genesis, I'm telling you, which one wasn't there praying and seeking God? All of them were. Anyway, it's okay, the church doesn't have many members, there's not much pastoral work, I just prayed there at work, either reading or praying, either reading or praying.

Thank God. I said, "In two weeks, we'll study Genesis." Two weeks passed in the blink of an eye. On the last day, we were going to study Genesis that night, and I still didn't understand it in the afternoon. Tears were falling down, how could I study it? Ah, let's continue to seek. If I don't understand it, I'll tell everyone I don't understand it. At four or five o'clock in the afternoon, God's word came to me. The Genesis chapter one that I preached, everyone go and listen to it, we are made in God's image, how God does it, we do it.

Oh my God, tears flowed down. My God, you must seek Him, you must seek Him, and He will surely let you find Him. Later, I had more and more faith in God, and I sought God when I didn't understand. I am especially grateful to God that in the blink of an eye, we have almost gone through the entire Bible. I know the heart of my God, which is to build His glorious church. Thank God, may God's will be fulfilled among us.

Brothers and sisters, if you want to build a church, you must seek God. David hoped that his son Solomon would be like this. I have to learn from Solomon. Ah, what should this house be built into? It must be built rigorously according to the drawings. What should the hard decoration of the house be built into? What should the soft decoration of the house be arranged into? What should the dishes, plates, and bowls in the soft decoration be arranged into? What is the weight? What should the cherubim be arranged into? Ah, my God, all of this is drawn by hand, and the construction plan is out. Can you implement it according to the construction plan, according to God's design? Let me ask you, if you implement it according to God's design and find that this thing is a bit difficult halfway through, what do you do? If it's a bit difficult, just go around it? Gold? Where is there so much gold? Get some silver. Silver? Where is there so much silver? Get some copper. Where is there so much copper? Get some iron. Is that still a temple?

So, this matter requires courage and boldness, do not be afraid, and do not be dismayed. It is normal to encounter difficulties, it is normal if you do not do it right, it is normal if you cannot do it, because you need to seek God. Later, Solomon built the temple, do you know? Did he build the temple first or his palace first? He built his palace first. Why? The work of the temple is a bit difficult, so let's do a palace in my own home first. Like when we do decoration, it's no problem for me to decorate for myself, I can decorate it however I want. But if I come up and decorate for others, and mess it up, I'll have to pay compensation, so let's do my own first.

So, Solomon was really amazing, he really built the temple. After it was built, God's glory filled it. Then do you know what? God's glory filled the temple, and He told Solomon: "Child, you did it right, you are a seeker." So brothers and sisters, I hope that brothers and sisters are all seekers. If you seek, He will let you find, this promise is definitely not false. But where are the seekers? Our brothers and sisters, our small pastors, our pastoral co-workers, can you listen to my advice again and be a seeker.

Self-righteousness is not the way, self-righteousness ruins oneself, how ruined it is! David in heaven is so happy to see Solomon build the temple. So do you know what? When we build His church on earth according to God's will, the angels are applauding for us in heaven. In the past, I sought, and I have come to this point. Now our brothers and sisters are all seeking, and we have all become Solomons. How pleased is the God in heaven sitting on His throne! God's glory will fill us, and this latter glory will be greater than the former glory. God, we will never be satisfied with today. God, lead us again, constantly improve, constantly seek, may Your glory be more and more and more.

I believe God, seated on His throne, hears our hearts, hears our cries, and sees our dissatisfaction with the current pastoral system. Wouldn't God be gracious, granting us wisdom to gain more, to improve our pastoral care, making it more advanced, and edifying our brothers and sisters more and more?

Serving Him with a Sincere and Willing Heart

You know, serving God, I feel it is an immense grace, not a苦差 (bitter chore). Do you know to what extent I enjoy being a pastor? To the point of extreme enjoyment, it's incredibly satisfying! Because my language isn't great, I can only say: "Ah, it's really good!" "It's really satisfying!" I tell you, the words "sincere and willing" are not a joke. Some people serve God and experience what is called "burn out." What does "burn out" mean? Translated, it means "烧焦了 (burnt out)." Don't type to tell me: "Teacher, my English isn't good." I don't need your English; I'll translate for you. Burn out, burnt out. I once met a pastor whose good friend insisted I minister to him, and what happened? He got brain cancer.

In his forties, still a full-time pastor in the church. Oh, my heart was pounding, this was too much. He was a senior pastor of a large church, and I was an unknown, small-time pastor, and I was still hesitant. But because I performed many miracles, he insisted I minister to his friend. I asked him what was going on. He said, "Pastor Liu, you see, pastors like us only get one day off a week, and we get burnt out." I thought something didn't sound right. If there's sincerity and willingness, how can one get burnt out? Can you get burnt out if you enjoy what you do?

I asked, "How did you get burnt out?" He said, "You see, I'm responsible for so many groups, and the leaders of these groups change every three years, and every three years a batch gets burnt out." Oh my goodness, if there are a hundred groups, thirty group leaders are replaced each year, and every week you have to put out fires, one fire today, another tomorrow, how can you not get burnt out? I felt sad; why don't people seek God? When people seek God, do they ask themselves if they are serving Him with a sincere and willing heart? Are any of us burnt out? None of us are burnt out, why? How can seeking God lead to burn out?

Remember, if any pastors or preachers are listening to me, I'm not criticizing; I'm pointing out a problem: when we encounter problems, do we seek God? I've turned being a pastor into enjoyment, like those who love playing mahjong and play all night without getting tired; those who love playing cards play all night without getting tired. As for me, I love serving God, am I tired? I'm not tired; I don't know what tiredness is. Seeking God, if you don't do it right and do it wrong but become skilled at it, won't you get burnt out?

Oh, I felt so emotional. Later, I still ministered to him, and his brain cancer symptoms were greatly alleviated. I thought to myself, people don't get burnt out if they have a sincere and willing heart to serve God; they are happy every day. So I'm telling you why: I seek to serve God with a scientific research attitude. When I do research, every breakthrough is so satisfying. I publish almost one paper every Sunday; I release the results of my research from the week, and it feels so good after I'm done speaking. Serving Him with a sincere and willing heart, I'm willing, I like it, and I do it right because I seek God, and then God opens up to you, you know? That's so satisfying, every time there's a breakthrough, and I enjoy my meals. If you're a preacher with a theory of burn out, you should change it to a theory of serving God with a sincere and willing heart, change it to a theory of seeking.

If You Seek Him, He Will Surely Let You Find Him

Seek Him, and He will surely let you find Him. Oh my goodness, I ask you, if you seek Him, will you find Him? One hundred percent. God, through David's mouth, didn't say about eighty percent, or ninety-nine percent, or ninety-nine point nine percent, but surely let you find Him. It turns out that all of our God's promises are established in heaven. As long as you are a seeker, you will surely find.

If you don't study well, you will surely study well. If your work is terrible, you will surely make progress in your work. Because our God is a God who lets people seek Him. You say, can I seek God in my studies and work? Seeking God is effective. Seeking God is also effective in your work. If you don't know how to live, and you live with a bitter face all day long, always looking for unhappy things, won't you get cancer? Isn't it? Always holding it in, either getting a myocardial infarction or a cerebral infarction, won't that be painful? How do you live happily? Seek God. You must gain wisdom and know how to live.

If you don't gain wisdom, you don't even have a license to live. Without a license, how can you live? You can't drive without a license; it's a violation, isn't it? Without a license to live, you're living in violation, and today God gives you a ticket, and tomorrow He gives you another ticket, how can you live? Ghosts come to mess with you, and God comes to mess with you, how can you live? God, I don't know how to live; I come to seek You; You tell me how to live. God, I don't know how to be happy and joyful; God, You tell me how to be happy and joyful; isn't this all seeking? How much more so when building God's glorious temple? God, may Your glory be full, how to be full? How to build?

So brothers and sisters, begin to reaffirm, if you seek Him, He will surely let you find Him, amen? Don't use a self-righteous attitude, don't say, "Pastor Liu, you can find when you seek, but I can't find when I seek." I say, what kind of brain is that? I'll kick you and make you unable to find, I'll slap you and wake you up. This is God's word; God says if you seek Him, He will surely let you find Him. Our God has been waiting for us for a long time. Let us remove the self-righteousness within us, remove the corrupt things within us, the things that are naturally of the flesh, the things that naturally discern good and evil. God is the treasure.

Building the Temple is a Matter of Seeking

Try building one; what do you do that you don't seek? You have to seek to build anything. I especially like decorating; I'm addicted to decorating. Some brothers and sisters say, "Teacher, don't be too tired." I'm not tired. "Teacher, can you save this time to do things for building the temple?" Isn't this building the temple? Oh, I tell you, after the decoration is finished, oh my goodness, the enjoyment! Looking at the beauty of my decoration, I designed it so beautifully. Why? Every time it's a step further from the original level. At first, it was decorated like a farmhouse, then it became a three-bedroom style, right? Then the decoration became something more refined, a creamy style. After the redecoration, what did it become? Oh my goodness, each one became more and more refined. The earliest things I decorated for people were hideous, almost making people angry. But it doesn't matter; it trained me. I tell you, building the temple is a matter of seeking. If you are a preacher listening to me here, don't listen to me bragging about this part, listen to what? Listen to the theme called building the temple is a matter of seeking. It doesn't matter if it's a little hideous at first, a little ugly, it doesn't matter, right? But progress little by little.

I guess Solomon especially understood what I call versions, so he began to build his own palace. When building his own palace, oh my goodness, he solved many technical problems. Solomon said, God, now I'm doing one myself, solving these technical problems, and when I don't understand, I come to seek You. Your more refined temple, I'll do it later. Everyone, tell me, should we build God's temple first, or our own house first? Surely we should do well in our own affairs first, right? Then we can do God's temple. If you accomplish nothing, you must first learn to live, right? And then build God's temple? First do your own, first practice. God sees, oh, this Solomon is good, you first do your own to practice, be rigorous, right? Be cautious. The technical explorations and those problems are all practiced in his own place first, and after practicing, click, then go to the temple, right?

So everyone knows, God put me in the workplace to refine me, God let me grow little by little in the workplace, and after being refined almost enough, come on, build the temple. Then you have to seek more, and you have to do more research. The architectural style, what kind of courtyard to build, the whole layout, when decorating, you first make a floor plan, what room is this, what room is that, make it clear. Then the style inside, what the hard decoration inside looks like, first do the architecture, then do the hard decoration, then do the soft decoration, and then put the utensils inside. God is a very great designer, and we are His co-workers, and building His glorious church is a very enjoyable project.

Every breakthrough is a great grace. Now let's ask ourselves, what research have you done? If you haven't done research, hurry up and do it, I won't say too much. You say what is the church for? The church is for shaping people, the church is a place for molding people. Then all the things related to living in this church, aren't they all things that the church should do? Related to living, we won't do things related to death. Some churches specialize in doing things for the dead; we only do things for the living. When they die, they die, right? So our brothers and sisters must be rigorous, and be rigorous about the weight of those utensils and things.

It's All God Who Made Me Understand

I ask you, isn't building God's church God who made you understand? Isn't it God who made you understand? Thank God, God made us understand. You say what is called building it right? If your method is wrong, how can it be right? Then I ask you, how do you build the church? You must follow the example of Jesus Christ; the method is to return to the example of Jesus Christ to build. Don't gather a bunch of people, a mob is meaningless, right? And don't create a club; a club is also meaningless. If you're going to do it, do what God makes us understand. In fact, the theological system of building the church is clearly explained in the Bible, but it's a matter of whether people want to understand it.

I tell you, seek it. Then we take this healing and deliverance; isn't Jesus the Jesus who cast out demons? Then why doesn't the church cast out demons? Right? If Jesus can cast out demons, and Jesus can do healing and deliverance, and the church can't do it, isn't that a mistake? Right? Jesus is our head, we are His body, if Jesus can do it and we can't, and we do a bunch of things that Jesus doesn't do, isn't that all a mistake? Right? In the end, it becomes more and more like Mahayana Buddhism, the principles are all well explained, but what Jesus did, they don't do, and they do a bunch of things that Jesus doesn't do, is that what God wants you to do?

Remember, seek God. When we seek God, God gives us grace. Our current 102 course is the theoretical foundation of healing and deliverance, and the 103 course is the theoretical foundation of Bible study. Our Bible study of Genesis, our 101 course, our 102 course, 103 course, our Ecclesiastes, Matthew, Luke. Thank God, it's all God who made us understand. But is the seeking enough? Maybe God made us understand, but we haven't received it yet, maybe we need to receive it more deeply.

Be Strong and Courageous, Do Not Be Afraid, Do Not Be Dismayed, For God Is With You

Once you seek, I ask you what will happen? God not only reveals to you, but also is with you. Building the temple, building the church, is a work of God's presence. Many problems we humans cannot solve, but God helps us. We now have to overcome many, many problems. I'll advertise for our 小牧 (Xiao Mu, little shepherd), we have a 小牧 (Xiao Mu, little shepherd), artificial intelligence, oh my goodness, it's getting better and better. The questions you ask him, he answers very well. If you ask your little shepherd, he may not be able to answer, but 小牧 (Xiao Mu, little shepherd) answers very well. After round after round of problems, I think God is really good, right? God is really good, adding these skilled craftsmen to us.

Then more skilled craftsmen will come. I also have to tell everyone, I hope everyone can understand, we actually砸 (za, smash) a lot of money. Without faith, how could we砸 (za, smash) so much money? Thank God. When we have faith in our hearts, be strong and courageous, do not be afraid, and do not be dismayed, God will be with us, and fulfill His promise in our midst as never before. In earlier years, our software development capabilities were very weak, but looking back, it's all grace. At that time, we were still afraid, where would we get so much money? God gives it.

I want to look forward to the future, in the future our church will bless too many people, we will bless many people. Some people don't like to communicate with people, they like to communicate with robots, and robots will help us pastor many people, that's great, right? Thank God. Brothers and sisters, begin to boldly imagine God's glory. When God's glory has not yet filled the temple, what is needed at that time is to be strong and courageous, do not be afraid, and do not be dismayed, and boldly imagine God's glory. In the future, God's glory will be greater than the previous glory, more and more, these are all God's promises. As long as you start from seeking, you will find when you seek, don't be afraid, and don't be dismayed, our God's promise is established in heaven, and will never be withdrawn, and if it is not fulfilled, it will never be withdrawn. What God says will be fulfilled, amen.

May God bless everyone!
