Introduction

This week, I will share a topic with everyone, titled "Zeal for Your house has consumed me." Over the past period, we have discussed a series of sermons related to the temple, and many tragedies have unfolded around God's temple. Uzzah touched the Ark of the Covenant and was struck down by God; Nadab and Abihu offered unauthorized fire and were consumed by God's fire. Many such tragedies occurred. The people followed Moses out of Egypt, but all perished in the wilderness. This was the tragedy of that era.

God's temple is a very serious matter. Why is God's temple so important? Because it is the key to solving all the problems of human life, it is the place where God dwells, it is the place where God hears people's prayers, and it is what God cares about. In fact, this is a great plan of God. But when God sits on His throne, what kind of feeling do you think He has? That feeling is that people are desperately rushing towards destruction. God's temple? God's temple? I don't have time for that! That's what everyone is thinking.

Last week, we just finished discussing the third and fourth chapters of the Book of Nehemiah. Look at those faces, look at the faces of Christians in the church, and you will know that they are definitely rushing towards the road of destruction. They have turned God's temple into a rental house, and the church has become a shopping mall, a place for doing business.

The Lord Jesus accomplished salvation and sits at the right hand of God, looking down at the church today. What would He feel? I can tell you, His feeling is that it is too painful, and His heart is consumed with zeal. As a result, the church is not built according to His will, nor is it built according to His instructions, but according to people's own ideas. They have built the church into a club, a charity center, a place without God's presence, only with the presence of demons. Do you think that is a matter of life and death?

A few days ago, one of our sisters returned from out of town and shared with me that she had met many people in the past month. She is simply a social butterfly, very good at talking to people. As a result, she shared with me the stories she had seen and heard. She met several of the brothers and sisters from her former church, one of whom was hiding everywhere to escape debt.

And you know what? She met another sister who said, "Oh my God, what happened to you?" Her mother advised her, "Child, stop messing around. Follow the pastor to do direct sales and sell those health products." But others can sell the goods they purchase, but she purchased a lot of goods and didn't sell a single one, and she borrowed money and owed a lot of money.

The old lady took out all the tens of thousands of dollars from her savings to cover her debts and said, "Child, don't do this again." As a result, what did the pastor say? I will never take you to make money again. I thought to myself, just stop it, don't take everyone to incur debts again, let alone make money. I ask you, what kind of anxiety does Jesus Christ sitting on the throne feel? Isn't it? Is this place a place to bless people? It has become a direct sales organization in the church.

Why do those people do this? Because they feel that if I don't do this, if I don't do direct sales, I don't love God, I don't love God's temple. If I don't do direct sales well, I don't have zeal for God's house consuming me, and I have to lose money and feel uncomfortable in my heart. I tell you, the money hurdle is difficult to overcome.

Some time ago, a cancer patient asked us to minister to him. In fact, he had begun to listen to my teachings and found that withholding tithes was actually a curse, and he wanted to donate the money to us. It was not a small amount, it should be hundreds of thousands. If you were the pastor, what would you do?

I can tell you, I don't want it. You are not qualified to donate yet, you are full of worldly logic, wouldn't it be troublesome to let you donate? Of course, it's not because I'm afraid of trouble, I don't want people to stumble. I hope he can be healed and also know that our motivation for serving him is not for his little money.

Later, I found out why people are like this. Didn't that pastor initially swear to build a glorious church for God? After learning about him, he was almost sixty years old, and his youngest child was only a few years old. I ask you, is he anxious? Definitely anxious, anxious that the child will have no money in the future. You may hear that anyone would be anxious, right? But some people are not anxious, they had a child at the age of eighty-seven and are very wealthy, right? They have money.

I can tell you, people are all raised by God, not by you. That child is yours, but he is raised by God. For example, my mother lost her father when she was four years old, didn't she grow up? My father lost his mother when he was nine years old, didn't he grow up? Right? When he was nine years old, he had to herd cattle. That's my father and mother.

My father and mother were poor at that time and raised five children, but none of them went hungry. I'm telling you, people are all raised by God, not by their parents, but by God. I feel that it's troublesome if people don't know this logic. So they had several children, and then they saw that they were in their sixties and became anxious. What are they anxious about? Right? What are they anxious about? The children come with their own rations, you know?

Many years ago, that child should be about ten years old now. Our brother really wanted to get married, but his income was very meager. In Singapore, he was a poor person, a very poor person. He secretly had an online love affair and contacted someone, and the two of them actually got married. I was the one who officiated the wedding, and I signed his marriage certificate. I have this qualification, I am qualified to sign the marriage certificate, which is recognized by the government.

Not long after, he cried and cried to me for three days. I said you have been crying for three days, what are you crying about? Tears and snot all over his face? When I asked him, he choked and said to me, my wife is pregnant. His wife is pregnant, I thought someone had died. I said what are you crying about, isn't it a good thing to be pregnant? You have a child, you are going to be a father. It should have been a happy thing, but now he is scared out of his wits because he has no money. He said, Teacher, I am poor, I don't know what to use to raise the child.

I said, how much can a child eat when he is born? He can't eat much. How big a bed can he sleep in? He can't sleep in a big bed. How much money can he spend? He can't spend much money. If the mother breastfeeds, it will cost even less money. People are made like this by money, so useless, they think it costs a lot of money to raise a child. Wrong, the child is the most economical when he is first born, do you know that? When does it cost money? It costs money when he goes to school. I said, don't worry, the child comes with his own food.

Does a sow need to buy milk powder when it gives birth? It was all invented by humans. I have to tell everyone this, a woman's pregnancy and childbirth is like a hen laying an egg. Are you offended by what I said? I'm telling you, women used to be as strong as cows when they were pregnant, but now it's different. They always think that pregnancy is a very serious matter, but it's actually like laying an egg.

They supplement this and supplement that, they want to eat bird's nest, and after supplementing, the child is born with spots on his face, some red and some black, all eaten out. I deeply understand this matter. I have a friend who thinks that pregnancy and childbirth is a very serious matter, and as a result, she gave birth to a child with asthma, and then another child with asthma, two children with asthma.

The third one is coming, I said: I tell you, I have studied this matter, don't eat bird's nest, eating bird's nest will cause the child to have asthma, and then the third child did not give him bird's nest, but his father-in-law and mother-in-law came. Son-in-law, can't afford bird's nest, right? In the end, you have to buy bird's nest again. In fact, bird's nest is treated with chemicals to make it so clean. You see, the more beautiful the bird's nest, the more it is processed.

There is something in us humans that is money. After becoming a pastor, and then having several children, there are many concerns, and in the end, you have to think about the problem of money, and you fall into the devil's trick. Do you think God's heart will be anxious? It will be anxious. I can tell you, the money hurdle is not easy to overcome, it is the most troublesome part of the worldly logic system.

But living is a very simple matter, people should know God's power. You say that the Lord Jesus is anxious, why? It is because He sees the knots in people's minds, they don't know how to build God's glorious church, build God's glorious temple, and lack nothing. As a result, people have turned God's temple and God's church into a place for doing business. The most common thing in the church is selling things.

Once I went to visit a pastor, I respected him very much, and he also needed money. After I went, I shared a little bit of Chinese Mingding Doctrine with him. As a result, he said to me, Pastor Liu, impossible, impossible, That's impossible.

It hurt my heart, I have already done it, and built the church, right? I have been doing this for many years, how can it not work for him? He doesn't know God's power. Then he wanted to promote a water purifier that costs five thousand dollars. I actually drink any kind of water, and I can eat any kind of food when I eat out, but my logic cannot be accepted by ordinary people.

What people accept is that they want to eat organic food, they want to eat clean and hygienic food, but I don't care about these. I tell you, the most toxins produced in a person are thoughts and ideas, not food. Cancer is not caused by eating, cancer is caused by the garbage in thoughts and ideas. I think living is really a very simple matter, a very simple matter. Of course, many people want water purifiers, and I don't stop them, just drink the water from the water purifier.

One of our sisters works in a tumor hospital. You go and visit, what kind of people are those who get cancer in tumor hospitals? I have done a little bit of investigation, they are all people who care very much about their bodies, I am not wrong at all.

The cancer patients I have encountered are definitely people who pamper their bodies and pay great attention to health. As a result, they still regret not taking good care of their bodies, and they have developed cancer because cancer is cultivated from thoughts and ideas. So our church must be careful and cautious. Living is a very simple matter, right?

Look how simple I am, I don't eat things I can't afford, I don't buy things I can't afford, I live very simply, isn't that good? Because I want to build His glorious church according to God's will. I will not lead everyone into the eyes of money, but I will lead everyone into blessings.

The church is a place to train people, the church is a place to remove the knots in people's minds, the church is a place to bless people, the church is not a place to do business. So I made a rule: no business dealings with church members.

As a result, someone came to ask me, Teacher, can you let this brother help us do this, I will give him money. He really has this need, I wish I could do it for him for free, but I can't. In fact, I have helped him a lot for free in the past few years, but has he donated? He donates to God, and it has nothing to do with me, right?

Let me make it clear first, it has nothing to do with the church, this is between you and him personally. The church is not a place to do business, the church is a place to bless people. Do you understand? As long as we do it, it's free, because we are priests. The church needs God's presence the most, not money. So we build the church to comfort God's heart.

If the logic system in a person is wrong, it will be very troublesome. God sees people desperately rushing towards the road of destruction, and He can't hear them no matter how much He shouts. In fact, what does God want His temple to do? In fact, He doesn't need His temple, but God doesn't want people to perish. Our God wants all people to be saved, everyone to be saved, and doesn't want anyone to perish. But that is just a beautiful hope.

The logic of businessmen is still very hateful, because businessmen make money, so what do priests do? Priests earn people, bringing everyone into God's blessings, this is our Mingding Doctrine, to become a blessing to all nations and peoples on earth.

So brothers and sisters should know what our God said: "Zeal for Your house has consumed me." Why? Because such a good project has been ruined, right? All of God's blessings have been lost. Rushing towards the road of destruction, turning God's temple and God's presence into a shopping mall, into the presence of money.

I once ministered to a pastor who was in his sixties and had a child who was only ten years old, so he later came out to do business. He lost money doing business, whose money did he lose? He lost the money of the brothers and sisters. Later, the church closed down, and he ruined the church. In the end, the brothers and sisters of the church chased him to pay back the money, so he began to hide everywhere.

If you are advanced in years, drawing a pension as an ordinary citizen, say in your fifties or sixties, and you have not been reckless in your pursuits, you should be reasonably comfortable. So, above all, avoid recklessness.

Some individuals, reaching their sixties, find themselves burdened with debt, acting foolishly to the point of thinking themselves remarkable. Let me tell you, in this life, it is enough to avoid being deceived. Money is the root of all evil, and the love of money is the source of all wickedness. Therefore, in establishing a church, building God's temple, never, ever be concerned about money. I assure you, our church is genuinely unconcerned with money. Our sole concern is guiding our brothers and sisters onto the path of blessing. If one does not understand this, it is a tragedy.

Scripture

The Jewish Passover was near, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem. In the temple courts he found people selling cattle, sheep and doves, and others sitting at tables exchanging money. So he made a whip out of cords, and drove all from the temple courts, both sheep and cattle; he scattered the coins of the money changers and overturned their tables. To those who sold doves he said, “Get these out of here! Stop turning my Father’s house into a market!” His disciples remembered that it is written: “Zeal for your house will consume me.”

Then the Jews demanded of him, “What miraculous sign can you show us to prove your authority to do all this?” Jesus answered them, “Destroy this temple, and I will raise it again in three days.” They replied, “It has taken forty-six years to build this temple, and you are going to raise it in three days?” But the temple he had spoken of was his body. After he was raised from the dead, his disciples recalled what he had said. Then they believed the Scripture and the words that Jesus had spoken. (John 2:13-22)

Prayer

God, open our spiritual eyes once more, that we may see Your power, that we may see Your resurrection power, that we may know Your might, that You uphold all things with Your almighty hands. God, grant that we may walk in Your will, that our actions may satisfy Your heart.

God, grant us such grace, that we may know, while we are on this earth, that You are the answer to all our problems, that building Your glorious temple, satisfying Your heart, is for our benefit. God, grant us such wisdom and understanding, remove the confusion within us, that we may revel in Your glory. In Jesus Christ's name, Amen.

Scripture Background

Initially, the first miracle Jesus performed was in Cana of Galilee, where there happened to be a wedding. People invited Jesus' mother, Mary, and also Jesus and the disciples He brought along, so they attended the wedding. I wonder what Jesus contributed as a gift? You have to give a gift when you attend a wedding. Jesus actually had a gift, and after giving it, He sat down to eat at the banquet.

As they were eating, the wine at the banquet ran out. But they had not had enough wine. If you ask me whether Jesus drank wine, He did, but not enough. Speaking of drinking, I tell you, wine is truly a good thing, but not alcoholism. As a result, Jesus did not have enough, and neither did they.

Jesus' mother said, "They have no more wine." Then Jesus said, "Woman, what does this have to do with me? What does my concern have to do with you?" You may not understand this. Because His mother was concerned about the wine, that everyone had not had enough. Jesus was concerned about God's temple. Jesus said, "My time has not yet come."

But His mother did not interfere. Jesus' mother knew how Jesus came to be, conceived by the Holy Spirit. Did Jesus perform any miracles for His mother to see? No. But His mother knew that her son was extraordinary, that He had God's glory upon Him. So she told them, "Whatever Jesus tells you, do it."

What happened? Jesus said, "Fill those six stone jars with water," and then draw some out and take it to the master of the banquet to taste. The one drawing the water thought, "I will do whatever you tell me to do." Drawing water was easy; it was not like carrying fifty kilograms of rice or lifting two hundred kilograms. So he drew a jar of water and took it over.

When the master of the banquet tasted it, it was incredible. This was good wine. What were you people thinking? People usually serve the good wine first, and then use the inferior wine to make up for it. First drink Moutai, and then supplement with Erguotou. But this family saved the good wine until now, excellent wine, and there were six jars of it. These six jars of wine took care of all the banquet expenses.

What did this reveal? It revealed the glory of Jesus Christ. After hearing this, what do you feel? Nothing. It was Jesus who turned the water into wine. I tell you, when God's glory descends, these things will happen to us.

Then Jesus saw that the Passover was near, but few understood this, that God can turn water into wine, that God can turn stone into gold, that our God can be used as money. I often say, "Our God is so powerful. Why am I determined to build God's glorious church?" Because God's glorious church can be taken as medicine, can be used as money! Teacher, why do you love money so much? It is not that I love money, but that I love God!

So brothers and sisters, when you come to church, I tell you, you will surely receive God's abundant grace. But how many people understood what Jesus did? The people in charge of the temple saw at the entrance, "Good heavens! Come in, come in. I will draw a circle for you. You can set up your stall here. I will draw another circle for you. You can set up your stall there. How much is this stall worth? Six thousand a month. How much is that stall worth? Eight thousand a month. That stall has a better location, twelve thousand a month." The priests in the temple were making a lot of money!

They also felt it was reasonable, didn't they? The temple had to be maintained. How much did it cost to maintain it for a year? You think maintaining a temple is cheap? This part leaks, that part leaks, this part needs repair, that part needs patching. It costs a lot of money! In the end, they turned the temple into a place of business.

I tell you all, I really look down on the income from renting out properties. Even Ren Zhengfei looks down on the income from renting out properties, doesn't he? Ren Zhengfei created Huawei. I ask you, how much has that value increased? Several tens of thousands of times, isn't it? Several tens of thousands of times!

The question is, how many of us truly know that God is a priceless treasure? We don't know! So when Jesus saw this, He exclaimed, "Oh my goodness! They have turned my temple into a place of business!" Doing business, doing business is about making money. Can it bless people? It is just about making money!

So some people's goal is to make money, while others' goal is to distribute God's blessings. If you can distribute God's blessings, you are Abraham. If you can bring God's power down from God's throne to be a blessing to the people on this earth, to solve people's problems, what a good thing that is! The person who can do this is a great benefactor.

When people live under a curse, no matter what you do, it won't work. Have you all noticed that when people live under a curse, no matter how much money you give them, it won't fill the hole. The hole is bottomless. In the end, Jesus turned the rope into a whip and drove all these people out, pouring the money on the ground. Some people said, "People come to Jerusalem to worship in the temple, and they need these services."

Do they need these services? They really do, don't they? I can't lead a cow along, can I? Nor can I carry a chicken or a duck. In those days, if you brought one that had already been killed, it would stink after walking hundreds of kilometers. It was better to buy it there and then offer it.

But you can't do these things in the temple, can you? If you do these things in the temple, can it still be a blessing to people? No! The temple becomes a place of business, and doing business is very low.

So Jesus drove these people out. After driving them out, the Jews said, "Show us a miraculous sign. Since you have done this, show us a sign." Actually, what miraculous sign was there to show? I didn't quite understand what the Jews were saying.

But what did Jesus say? Jesus said, "Destroy this temple, and I will raise it again in three days." The Jews were stunned. "It has taken forty-six years to build this temple. Can you build it in three days?" Impossible! Impossible! This one "impossible" limited people from receiving blessings from God.

So the disciples then remembered a saying, "Zeal for your house will consume me." At that time, they saw a fire in Jesus Christ, zeal for God's temple. They had turned such a wonderful thing into a filthy thing.

Actually, I am also quite moved. Many churches have turned a very glorious thing into a very filthy thing. Why? People think, "How can you become rich if you don't do business?" I tell you, how can you become rich without blessings? These are two completely different logics. How can people receive blessings without God, without God's temple? Because God's temple is where God dwells, where God has established His dwelling place.

Do you think David's accumulation of hundreds of tons of gold was because he was amazing? No! It was because he had a heart to build the temple! Is it valuable? It is valuable! I tell you all, let our hearts not be perverted. We must love God. A person who loves money cannot love God, but a person who loves God does not need to love money.

We must all understand this logic. You cannot love God if you love money. If you love God, you do not need to love money. Because loving God can be taken as medicine, can be used as money. Do you understand? Because God's blessings come from there. If God blesses you, everything you do will be fine. If a person is unlucky, nothing they do will work.

A good friend of mine told me, "Pastor Liu, as businessmen, we have seen many strange things. Some people are super smart, super capable, and very hardworking, but they just can't succeed." What is going on? Because they are living under a curse. When a person is blessed, everything is fine. A person who loves God does not need to love money. This is simply wonderful.

The Jews did not understand why Jesus was zealous. Many of those Jews, both men and women, were wearing suits and cheongsams, walking with cat-like steps, very beautiful, definitely professionally trained. But why didn't they train their brains? Why were their heads full of knots? They didn't understand.

So the background of this passage has become a stark contrast. People live according to the logic of money for the sake of money, and people live according to the logic of God for the sake of God. What do you live for? I must tell you, curing cancer is very simple, but removing the knots in people's heads is very difficult, because people already think those concepts are self-evident truths.

Some time ago, we prayed desperately. I had already told him that if blood came out, do not be afraid. We prayed desperately, and finally blood came out, that dirty blood. As a result, he was frightened. "I am already anemic, and now I am losing so much blood." Why anemic? Because there is too much filth in the body, so it cannot produce blood. If that filth is not expelled, wouldn't it be worse?

As a result, when the blood flowed, just when it was time to expel the filth, he had to find doctors and nurses to stop the bleeding, which infuriated me. Seeing so much blood flowing, he began to panic and fainted.

Which woman would think she is anemic when she has her period? Which woman would stop that blood when she has her period? That night, one of our sisters asked, "Is there any need?" No reply. An hour later, at three in the morning, another sister typed, "Is there any need?" Still no reply, just busy stopping the bleeding.

People's heads are full of garbage. It doesn't matter. People suffer because of the sins of the knowledge in their heads. What kind of knowledge brings what kind of sin. Actually, it was a big misunderstanding. If a selfish person is terrified by a little blood, what about a person who donates blood?

I tell you, people who donate blood are very healthy. Why? Every time they draw out two hundred milliliters, some four hundred milliliters, their bodies continue to produce blood. People's blood-producing function is activated, and the blood inside becomes fresher. So, blood is dirty. I asked, "What color is the blood?" Black.

So I tell you, for example, when a child has a persistent fever, you prick a few holes in their ten fingers, squeeze out the blood, dark blood, and the fever quickly subsides. Why? Because the blood is dirty.

If a person's logic is selfish, it corrupts them. People do not know the power of God and are terribly frightened. Many cancer patients are scared to death, and the other half are poisoned to death. I lament, when can we clear the garbage from our heads? My heart is anxious, truly anxious, like a burning fire. Seeing people rushing headlong down the road to destruction, unaware of how great God's power is.

If God's power is so great, why doesn't He heal me? He cannot heal you because there is too much garbage in your head. Just as He is about to heal you, we are fervently praying, and He stops it. Many of the cancer patients we minister to are like this, almost every single one. Occasionally, there are a few exceptions, and people do not really need such ministry.

God Cares About His Temple

Have you ever read about Jesus being anxious about His money? About His heart burning like fire for His money? No. Have you ever read about Jesus' heart burning like fire for the lepers? No. Have you ever read about Jesus being anxious like a burning fire for the blind? No. Our Jesus Christ was anxious for His temple.

It was such a good thing, yet it was corrupted by these Jews. Think about it carefully, God does not really care about one more death or one less. Do not think that God cares about your cancer. God does not care, nor does He care if you cannot defecate or urinate. God cares whether you are a person who builds God's glorious church.

If you truly have this heart to build God's glorious church, that is extraordinary. This person has immense blessings. You care about what God cares about, and God cares about you. If you do not care about what God cares about, God does not care about you.

The Bible is all about this. The entire Bible, from the Old Testament to the New Testament, is about understanding God's plan. What exactly does God want to do? God cares about His temple, because the temple is where God dwells with man. God dwells with man, and God longs to dwell with man. But you must be the one with whom God is willing to dwell.

Thus saith the Lord, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye build unto me? and where is the place of my rest? For all those things hath mine hand made, and all those things have been, saith the Lord: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word. (Isaiah 66:1-2)

This sentence is deeply imprinted in my mind, imprinted on my heart. Why? God looks upon those who are poor and of a contrite spirit, and who tremble at His word. To translate this into my own words, it means constantly feeling that I have not done things right, being humble and contrite, and trembling at God's word.

He that killeth an ox is as if he slew a man; he that sacrificeth a lamb, as if he cut off a dog's neck; he that offereth an oblation, as if he offered swine's blood; he that burneth incense, as if he blessed an idol. Yea, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delighteth in their abominations. I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spake, they did not hear: but they did that which was evil in mine eyes, and chose that in which I delighted not. (Isaiah 66:3-4)

Do you all understand? That is to say, God is seeking His resting place, and His resting place is a group of people who tremble at God's word. It is not because they have raised three children and are old, and the children need money, but that the children also need to tremble at God's word.

So, brothers and sisters, we must know that God cares about His temple. God's temple is His resting place. What kind of people are in His resting place? People who are humble and contrite. This group of humble people reveres God's word. Do you tremble at God's word? I see many people treating God's word as garbage. What is there to tremble at? They are all focused on money, knowing nothing, not knowing fear.

In this life, people will certainly pay a heavy price for their own ignorance and foolishness. You must know that the entire Old and New Testaments describe the church that God cares about, which is the body of Jesus Christ. God is anxious for His temple, like a burning fire.

If we know how much God values this, then you are powerful. If you know that God values this, you will certainly know that the reward for this is the highest. Not for the sake of that reward, but because this should be our Mingding Doctrine.

God's Eternal Plan is the Union of All Things in Jesus Christ

God's eternal plan is the union of all things in Jesus Christ. The Apostle Paul's letters are all about this. If you are a humble and contrite person, a person who trembles at God's word, you will act according to God's word, and then you will be united in Jesus Christ. You will come to God's temple, and you will become God's temple.

Then there are those who treat God's word as a fart, and God treats you as a fart. I have not said this logic for a long time, but I will mention it again. God created some to be destroyed, and others to be gathered into His kingdom as treasures. Those gathered into His kingdom as treasures are those who tremble at God's word and build God's glorious church.

Those who are destroyed are those who go their own way, choosing their own paths, and delighting in their abominations. God will choose their delusions and bring their fears upon them. You fear death, and death will come upon you. Whatever you fear will come upon you. I tell you, many things are under God's control.

My heart is filled with emotion. To what extent? God will choose to send them delusions. For example, sending a little demon to delude them. As a result, they become confused because they choose their own ways and delight in their abominations, and the result is destruction.

There are only two kinds of people: those who please God and those who provoke God's anger. Those who provoke God's anger live under God's wrath. They make the wrong choices, always choosing strange things. You yourself will find it strange, wondering how you became so confused. God deliberately does this.

Do not blame God, because God will choose to send them delusions. Now, tremble at God's word and be very careful. Of course, a person's calling may have been determined in eternity. But whether it is specifically determined, we do not know, do we? So what should we do? Stop messing around.

The Chinese Lao Tzu and Zhuangzi belong to Taoism. The Tao Te Ching says, "Heaven and earth regard all things as straw dogs; the sage regards all things as straw dogs." Do you understand? It means they do not take anything seriously. A paper dog is burned for the dead. All things are burned for the dead, just this thing. Can you understand? You do not understand.

Then we can make a choice. After seeing these things in the world, can we understand? Look at the works of Jesus Christ. Then you make a decision: I want to enter into God's plan. Is it Plan A or Plan B? Plan A is to enter the Promised Land, and Plan B is to fall in the wilderness. Some people just have bad Mingding Doctrine, and they choose God's wrath.

Know the Great Power of God

You know that God is anxious for His temple, like a burning fire. Then God cleanses His temple, driving out all those things in the temple. But it is very difficult to remove the garbage from people's minds. Because people do not know the great power of God, they do not know that we are nourished by God. Do you know that you are nourished by God? If you know and understand the great power of God, what do people still worry about? They do not worry.

Then they should steadily do what they should do, do things well, do them with faith, and even if they do not do them well, do them with faith. Jesus instantly turned six jars of water into top-quality Maotai. I ask you, how much is that worth? If water can turn into wine, can stones turn into gold? Yes. Can five loaves of bread and two fish feed five thousand people? Yes!

Is it so difficult for our God to nourish us? It is just that people do not know His great power. They do not know His power of resurrection from the dead, they do not know that Jesus Christ brought Lazarus out of the tomb after four days of death. People do not understand why we are shown these things. It is actually to give us faith in Him, to know the great power of God.

The church does not need money, because our God is our money. So the church needs God's presence, not the presence of money. There is a pastor who even encourages brothers and sisters to pray for the current economy. Why pray for the economy? To make it easier for everyone to make money and then donate. Thinking that the church needs money, that pastor will certainly have disaster.

Everyone may not understand, but many people build churches as if they are building a club. The church really does not need your money. So we are not serving you because we want your money. We do not care about that stuff. What we care about is pleasing God, so that God's heart may be comforted. God is our great power. He can turn water into wine and stones into bread.

Our God is the God who raises the dead. This power transcends all things and completely defies the various laws of physics, biology, and chemistry. Our Jesus Christ said that He would build God's temple in three days. Many people do not know that it took forty-six years to build, and in the end, Jesus Christ personally tore it down.

Know the great power of God. The reason we do not know what is inside us is that we do not know our own lack of power, but we still think that God is like us. If the God we worship and believe in has the same abilities as you, then forget it, right?

So, cancer being healed is a trivial matter. Building a temple in three days is a trivial matter. Three hours is fine. For God, it is not a big deal at all. So what do we preach when we build a church? It is the great power of God.

And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God. (1 Corinthians 2:4-5)

Do you know the great power of God? If you know, you will believe that people will not die from a little bleeding. If you are scared out of your wits, there is no way to fix it. Can God not control it? So now we are just removing the garbage from people's minds, turning the garbage in people's minds into something that makes them know the great power of God.

Remove the Confusion Within Us

There must be a lot of confusion within us. Not to mention the things that Jesus did, even the things that I do will fill you with confusion. I can tell you all that the church is nourished by God. Some people do not understand, they are very confused, thinking that the money must have come from somewhere. But I did not get any money at all. What would I do with money, right? Money is not my anxiety, and I will not be anxious about money. I am anxious for God's temple.

God, be with us no matter what, let me go wherever You want. When I go the wrong way, show me the way ahead. When I see that there is no road ahead, God is my road, right? Ahead is the Red Sea, and behind are the Egyptian pursuers. My God is my road.

The reason why people are so confused is that they do not know the great power of God, they do not believe in God. So, in order to avoid confusion, I refuse to accept people's offerings. You are not qualified. Wait until you understand that it is a worthwhile thing, then talk about it, right? Lest you think that I have taken a fancy to your offerings. Some people think, "I have given offerings, but God has not listened to my prayers." Listening to prayers is not bought with money. How deeply poisoned must you be to say such nonsense?

I have said so much just to let us all make a choice, to choose to be anxious for God's temple like a burning fire. You say that is very hard, but you either worry about the things of the world and pay the price, or you pay the price for God's temple. Do you want to become a person who builds God's glorious church?

If you just want to come to be healed, and after being healed you want to do whatever you want, I do not need people to be morally kidnapped to stay with us. But if you are smart and think that this is the best blessing, I must build God's glorious church with this team to satisfy God's will, truly thank God.
