Introduction
Good morning. Last week, I spoke about the temple of God. Was it truly the temple of God? It was built by the grandson of Moses. This week, I will answer that only what is built according to God's instructions is the temple of God. Did you know that in the church world, there are many grandsons of Moses and many Micahs, who then create an idol, a cross, and gather a group of people, only to mess things up? This week, I want to tell you that only what is built according to God's instructions is the temple of God, and only then will God be there.
Building a church is like Moses building the tabernacle, like David and Solomon building the temple. It is not a joke; the road to building a church is littered with corpses. Why? Because it is a very, very rigorous matter. Let me give you a few analogies. If you were to build a nuclear power plant, and this nuclear power plant could supply the electricity for our entire country.
I ask you, is that nuclear power plant dangerous? Yes, it is dangerous. How much energy would it have? Immense. If you build a nuclear power plant, is it dangerous? Carelessness can lead to death. Building a church with God's presence, is the power that raised Jesus Christ from the dead great? Greater than the energy of the sun, far exceeding a nuclear power plant.
Is launching a rocket or a satellite dangerous? Yes, it is dangerous. Carelessness can turn it into a firework display. Launching a rocket or a satellite cannot be a firework display. One press of a button, and it turns into fireworks in the sky, and a lot of money is gone in an instant.
What about making airplanes? It is the same. I can tell you that no one sits in a rocket. Spaceflight is called a spacecraft, like the Shenzhou. Making an airplane is much more difficult than making a rocket because people sit inside. Now airplanes fly everywhere, and there are many budget airlines. But if the people who make airplanes do not do a good job, is it dangerous? It could fly up and not come down, or fly and get lost.
There was a case called Malaysia Airlines Flight 370, and a plane full of people disappeared. Making airplanes is not a joke. Carelessness can lead to the loss of the plane, right? What about building a church? Building a church must not be like Malaysia Airlines Flight 370, flying and disappearing, the church disappearing.
We cannot build a church where one day we are checking for cancer, and the next day we are checking for cancer, and after a few months, there is another cancer. What are we building? One cancer is healed, two cancers are healed, three cancers are healed, four cancers are healed. We are building something like that, right? Building a church is dangerous; carelessness can lead to death.
You know, I am not a scientist, not a philosopher, not a writer, not a poet. I am an engineer, and engineering is rigorous training. You know, on my first day of university, we had an instructor, also called a counselor, who sat with us in class and told a story: a plane crashed because a rivet was not properly fastened.
We do not know if what he said was true or false, but as seventeen or eighteen-year-olds, we thought the counselor was great. Now that I think about it, they were just some immature young men in their twenties or thirties, and even with a beard, they were still the same. But what he said about being rigorous was right.
So, from the moment I entered university, I received a rigorous training. There is a university in Canada that is very famous. The students who graduate from here have undergone rigorous training, training every engineer to be very rigorous. At the graduation ceremony, they each receive a steel ring.
Do you know where this steel ring comes from? If you are in Canada and you are an engineer who wears a steel ring, everyone respects you. Why? Rigor. Where does this steel ring come from? There was an engineer who graduated from this university, and after graduation, he built a bridge, and the bridge collapsed. After the bridge collapsed, the president of the university felt very ashamed. The graduate I trained went out and built a bridge that collapsed, and many people died.
As a result, the president of the university was very wise and spent a lot of money to buy the wreckage of the entire bridge. From then on, every year when there were graduates, they would cut a piece of the wreckage and melt it down to make steel rings. Since then, the university has established "rigor" as the school's motto, so all the graduates trained have this rigorous attitude.
If you build a building that collapses, build a bridge that collapses, make an airplane that disappears, is that not harming people? Right? Make a rocket that launches fireworks. Build a church, a church full of cancer, from the pastor to the brothers and sisters below, all with cancer. Is that not deadly? So, I am telling you that building a church must be rigorous.
I have personally witnessed many tragedies in building churches. I carefully explored several cases, and all of them were not built according to God's instructions, and the ending was tragic. Some of these pastors I once served. Do not think that they were paying the price for God; they were paying a heavy price for their own carelessness and lack of rigor.
There was a sister who was a leader in building a church, and later she was bedridden and miserable. Did she want to build a church? Yes, she wanted to build a church. But the church she built was ultimately wood, hay, and straw. Then she called me at one o'clock in the morning. I said, "What's going on?" Calling me at one o'clock in the morning, what's the matter? She said, "Pastor Liu, can you pray for my money?"
Some time ago, a sister came out of a church where the pastor asked the brothers and sisters to pray for the local economy. What kind of logic is that? Why pray for the economy? Because if the economy is bad, the brothers and sisters will not have money. Then if the economy is good, the brothers and sisters will have money. If they have money, they will have offerings, and only with offerings can they build the church. This is a logic that provokes God's anger.
Then I said, "Why pray for your money?" She said, "Do you know? I have a lot of money! Then, in order to build the church, I took this money to do business." Taking money to do business is called building the church? I tell you, the least needed thing for building a church is money. The most needed thing is those who have the heart to build God's church; that is the treasure.
Every night at one o'clock, the Holy Spirit would shake her awake and say to her, "Get up, get up, get up, quickly pray for your money!" All this money was eventually invested in business, and there was no return, all of it was lost. Not only was it lost, but she also owed a lot of debt, and as a result, she fell ill from anxiety. Was it the Holy Spirit that woke her up in the middle of the night? Building a church and bringing in an evil spirit.
Then she fell into confusion because she never built according to God's will, and what she built was a tragedy! Later, I said, "I will not pray for your money because God has never asked us to pray for this." Can you find anything in the Bible about praying for money? No, where is there any praying for money?
I can tell everyone that the most important thing for a church is God's presence, the second is people, the third is the things you do, and the fourth is money. Money may not even rank fourth. I have personally seen many such tragedies.
Once, I met a pastor, and we were eating together. He said to me, "Pastor Liu, do you know? Pastor So-and-so of So-and-so church built a very large church, a very large cathedral, with five thousand people attending. That is a very glorious thing. But do you know why he was arrested by the government?" I asked why. It turned out that he was not for God at all. He hung up a banner in the church: "Tongues are forbidden."
If a church believes in this powerful gospel as a powerless gospel, that is a tragedy. How many churches are like Mahayana Buddhism, chanting scriptures, talking, and preaching? That is deadly! I found it strange. Later, he was arrested by the government. Was that paying the price for God? It was paying the price for his own stupidity.
Everyone can tell that this is very evil, right? Paying the price for his own stupidity, why? Lack of rigor. He seemed to know, but he did not seem to know, and he just messed around. I was filled with emotion because for a while, the government was tearing down crosses. My goodness, I felt that the cross was very important. They did not care about whether God was present, but they felt that having that cross was a remarkable thing.
Thinking about it slowly, how many people are paying the price for God? Not many. How many people are paying the price for their own stupidity? Too many. The Mingding Doctrine, or Chinese Mingding Doctrine, that I founded is a theological system for building a glorious church. It is built rigorously according to what the Bible instructs, whether it is the Old Testament or the New Testament.
I have taken Paul's letters and Jesus Christ's teachings, which seem to be scattered here and there, and I have organized them into a complete system. This is my work. I can do such a thing not because of anything else, but because of rigor. We have explained many strange phenomena. What I just talked about is one of the strange phenomena. We have uncovered many myths.
If you have the opportunity, you can listen to my Myth series. The Myth series should have dozens of lectures. Maybe there will be a chance to pick it up again and add a little to this Myth series, supplementing it. If you study it deeply, you will know that believing in the Lord in the way of an engineer, examining God's word with the mindset of an engineer, is rigorously building God's church.
There are a few interesting sentences in the Bible, these sentences say that you cannot add to it, and you cannot subtract from it, do you know? These two sentences, one was said by Moses, and the other was written by John in Revelation. You cannot add to it, and you cannot subtract from it. If you add to it, you will be cursed, and if you subtract from it, you will suffer loss. I think this is very straightforward, right? Very straightforward things have to be made difficult.
Let's give some examples of the confusions that Chinese Mingding Doctrine resolves. For example, being filled with the Holy Spirit. Is being filled with the Holy Spirit not clearly written in the Bible? Do not forbid speaking in tongues, is it not? Being filled with the Holy Spirit and speaking in tongues is clearly in the Bible, is it not? This is troublesome. Such a straightforward instruction becomes troublesome in the church, and all kinds of confusions arise.
Many people say that you have to examine this tongue carefully to see if it is from God or from the devil. If you carefully examine the Bible, you should believe that there is no such examination in the Bible, whether this tongue is from God or from the devil. What does our God say? What does our Lord Jesus say? If you ask the Father to give you the Holy Spirit, He will not give you a snake. If you ask for an egg, He will not give you a snake or a stone, right? If you ask for bread, He will not give you a snake.
Will our Heavenly Father not give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him? How did people start to doubt? It is as if our Heavenly Father cannot solve this matter. Can our Heavenly Father control this matter? Can our Lord Jesus control this matter? Yes. I believe in God's word.
Once, I was leading someone to pray in tongues, and someone was interpreting the prayer. As a result, when interpreting the prayer, the demon was really screaming. Then I thought to myself, how should we handle this situation? We all prayed silently together, asking the Holy Spirit to lead us. Sure enough, after a while, that person calmed down.
Later, we slowly shared the words of the Bible with him, telling him about the authority and power of the Lord Jesus, and that only through the name of Jesus can he be released. Thank the Lord, after a period of ministry, this person's life gradually changed. He began to be willing to listen to the Lord's words and actively seek prayer.
Brothers and sisters, we see that in spiritual warfare, we must rely on the word of the Lord and the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and never fight with our own fleshly nature. Because the Lord Jesus has already overcome, and we can also overcome in Him. It was because he began to desire to be filled with the Holy Spirit and pray in tongues that the demon began to manifest.
Once, I went to a place, and someone just broke down. I happened to be there to take a class because I was a student. Then another sister who I had healed and delivered said, "Pastor Liu, can you minister to her? She can't do it anymore."
You see, people are like this. Her face was pale, and she was having difficulty breathing. Why? Her mother had just sent her a message that she had been diagnosed with cancer, and she broke down. I said, "Come, come, I'll lead you in prayer." It was in the hallway outside the classroom. As soon as I led her to pray in tongues, she was filled with the Holy Spirit, and the demon was screaming. Finally, I drove the demon out.
But the teacher of the class rushed over. I thought, let's not cause trouble, so I ran away. Then they patted this sister on the chest and straightened her back, and put the demon back in. Do you understand? They put the demon back in.
Then the sister who brought her to me said, "Pastor Liu, why did you run away? How could you run away at this time?" I said, "If I don't run away at this time, it will cause trouble. I don't want to cause trouble for their class." The demon was screaming. That was not praying in tongues; that was the demon going out. Do you understand? If you continue, it doesn't matter if it continues to scream. If you continue, there will be normal praying in tongues.
So, will our God not give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him? How could He give you an evil spirit? But many people just mess around, think wildly, talk nonsense, and do things blindly, and they make being filled with the Holy Spirit and praying in tongues a mess. Later, I had so much faith in God that it didn't matter if I learned a few sentences. Can God not control it?
Our brothers and sisters ask, can God control the universe? Yes! Can God control your tongues prayer? Yes! Remember, the Spirit of our God is a very gentle Spirit; He does not coerce people. So, do not believe in those heterodox teachings that something is controlling their mouths; that is not the case. Can't God control it? He can.
For example, healing the sick and casting out demons is very straightforward. Jesus appointed twelve disciples, sending them out to heal the sick and cast out demons. He appointed seventy disciples to go out and heal the sick and cast out demons. He appointed seven hundred disciples to go out and heal the sick and cast out demons. He appointed what? Healing the sick and casting out demons. Healing the sick and casting out demons is an inseparable part of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Later, I understood that without healing the sick and casting out demons, many problems cannot be solved. Just relying on you to preach some painless and innocuous sermons on the stage will not solve the problems; it is very difficult, very difficult. How can healing the sick and casting out demons cause so much confusion? Healing the sick and casting out demons, is that Pentecostal? Speaking in tongues, is that Pentecostal? What denomination are you? I am Evangelical.
I think it would be better to directly say Mahayana Buddhism, wouldn't it? They say the demons are gone, the demons are gone. How can the demons be gone? The problems are still piling up; why is it so hard to believe? It is just deceiving those who do not like to study, imprisoning these ignorant people.
The salvation of Jesus Christ is such a straightforward matter, such a straightforward instruction. They have to make salvation murky and complicated, with everything included. I tell you, the salvation of Jesus Christ is to let us live out the image of God while we are alive. The pastoral care in the church is preached so straightforwardly, but they have to mess it up for you.
God wants to use us greatly, because why? Because we are building His church according to God's instructions; there is God's presence here. The church is God's army. Curses and blessings are spoken so clearly, but now everything is made very, very confusing, isn't it?
I think if we live long enough, the Chinese Mingding Doctrine will have a profound impact on future generations, because we are rigorous in theology, rigorous. And it is a theology that is put into practice, becoming more and more like Jesus Christ as we do it. You talk about being born again, and they think it is something that happens instantly. The Bible never talks about something happening instantly; it is about constantly knowing God in truth.
You want to be a disciple of Jesus Christ. Disciples must forsake this and forsake that, but you cannot forsake anything. Do you believe it or not? Are you doing it according to God's instructions or not? If you do it according to God's instructions, it will surely be a church filled with God's glory.
One brother felt that prayer is everything. The Bible never says that. Why? Because his illness was healed through prayer. Why does he believe this? Because he experienced it, and then he has that enthusiasm, but without true knowledge, not rigorous, even writing a note is difficult.
I can tell you, if you cannot even write a note, how can you do pastoral care? Isn't it? Procrastinating, being careless, with a muddled mind. I tell you, God's heart is the church. If you want to have that heart, you must have a rigorous attitude towards learning. Whether I am dealing with people or doing things, I am very rigorous. I have a rigorous attitude, and I also thank my school for giving me such training.
One sister asked me that she wanted to take a driving test, but when she took the test, she would blank out halfway and not know what to do next. I said: It is not a matter of blanking out; it is that you have not learned it at all. Take what you have learned about taking the driving test, every step, every item, this item is a three-point turn, this item is parking in place, this item is starting on a slope, write down what each item is all about, what to do in the first step, what to do in the second step, and what to do in the third step.
I guarantee you will not fail the driving test six times. Why? Because your understanding will be clear. I ask you, if you have learned to ride a bicycle, will you blank out when riding a bicycle? No, isn't it? You learn to take the driving test haphazardly; how can you not blank out? Actually, it is because you do not know it; you have not learned it rigorously enough.
Then she asked me: Teacher, what method should I use to take the driving test? I said: It is the method I said, write down each item, which points are deducted, how to do it so that points are not deducted, what is the right way to do it, and how points are deducted for doing it wrong, and that is it. It is not that you have not practiced enough; it is that your brain is not enough.
Do you understand? Do not just keep practicing; your brain is still a mess, and when you look at it, you do not know what to look at. Is driving that difficult? Teacher, why can't I control it? I said: It is just that you are not smart enough; if you were smart, you would be able to control it. If you do not study rigorously and do not study hard, you will not have knowledge.
A rigorous attitude builds God's church, enabling brothers and sisters to mount up with wings as eagles; this is God's command. We are a theology of mounting up with wings as eagles, not a theology of flying pigs. We want to build a place for God, a dwelling for His name. This is not decorating our own house; we cannot do whatever we want. Start developing rigorous habits.
Scripture
According to all that I show you, that is, the pattern of the tabernacle and the pattern of all its furnishings, just so you shall make it. (Exodus 25:9)
And see to it that you make them according to the pattern which was shown you on the mountain. (Exodus 25:40)
These words are very well said. Later, when I was studying the Bible, I discovered another mystery: David built the temple according to the plans drawn by God's finger for David, with everything explained clearly. If you read Exodus chapter 25, you will find that everything is explained clearly, what kind of thread to use, what kind of skin to use, what kind of fur to use, what to do, what kind of bars to use, and how many rings to make.
This is our God; our God is very rigorous. Thank God, I do the same when I do carpentry, and I do the same when I write software, rigorous.
Prayer
God, may Your power fall upon me to deal with our bad habits, to remove the procrastination within us, to remove the carelessness within us, and the lack of rigorous logic. God, shape us, make us rigorous people, able to build Your glorious church according to Your instructions, like Moses.
God, give us such wisdom today, give us such character. Give us such ability to be a rigorous, refined person in this world, in Your image. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
Scripture Background
Have you ever thought about a question: What was Moses doing on the mountain for forty days and nights? The Israelites were waiting anxiously below! What happened to Moses? Where did he go for forty days and nights? He was actually receiving God's instructions on the mountain. You say that is not right; there are not many words when you read it, are there? There are about ten chapters; there are ten chapters in Exodus discussing how to build the temple, all of which were written by Moses later.
But actually, Moses wrote it on the mountain. You say that writing these things would only take two hours of work? How could he stay for forty days and nights for two hours of work? Everyone should know that with God, one day is like a thousand years on earth! Actually, he only stayed with God for a short while, about half an hour, but forty days passed on earth.
Moses is very good at learning. God just showed him the pattern, saying, "Look, make it like this, make it like that." Later, Moses used words, without pictures, to describe everything, amazing! Later, I summarized one thing: If you cannot say it clearly, it is not clear. Starting to think about whether you can use language to describe things clearly is a very critical ability.
If there are no words and no pictures, and you just talk nonsense, it is basically over. Write things down, say them, and see if that is the case, and whether you have written it clearly. The ability to express oneself in language is a very important ability in a person's life. Moses was very good at explaining the building of the tabernacle clearly. Actually, what did God let Moses do? He just let Moses copy the homework.
Everyone must not think that Jesus is letting us reinvent something. No, do not invent anything. If you invent a word, it is a misspelled word. Do you understand? If you invent a way to build the temple, it is a wrong way to build it. If you copy the homework, then it is right.
A child came to Singapore to study and kept failing, even failing in writing compositions. I asked him: Are you writing everything in your own words? He said: Teacher, you are so right; I always thought I had to write in my own words. What is the problem? The problem is that he is writing in his own words.
I ask you, can you write the mathematics you learn in your own words? No! You have to write it in the words taught in the book. When you write a composition, you cannot write it in your own words; you do not have that knowledge. When you draw a picture, you cannot draw it according to your own ideas; you have to draw it according to the way you learned it.
All problems are like this! Remember, all problems are like this; they are all about copying the homework. So, it is right to say that all the articles in the world are copied. Sometimes, you know, I am particularly annoyed. I tell my colleagues that this matter is like this, this, and this. I said: Can you repeat what this matter is like? As a result, they just talk nonsense. I said: Just repeat what I just said! When I get anxious, my temper flares up. Why do they have to invent things?
On the mountain, God was afraid that Moses would invent his own things. Do you understand? He was afraid that he would invent his own things. Moses, you must build these objects according to my instructions! Moses was the top scholar in Egypt, the top student in Egypt, the most powerful and the best at learning in all of Egypt. Do you think he could not understand this matter? All those who are good at learning learn from others, and those who are not good at learning invent their own things.
Do you understand? When taking a driving test, if you invent your own method, you will definitely not pass; you will just mess around. So, Moses was just copying the homework on the mountain. Now, when building the church, we follow the example of what Jesus did. How Jesus trained the disciples, we train the disciples; how Jesus healed the sick and cast out demons, we heal the sick and cast out demons; how Jesus did it, we do it.
I have a sentence to describe those people: what Jesus did, they do not do; what Jesus did not do, they do a lot of. Everyone understands now, right? What Jesus did, they do not do; what Jesus did not do, they do a lot of. How can that be good? Building the church has to make themselves get cancer, and they still think they are great.
You say that God gave Moses such detailed instructions, very detailed instructions, what to do, how to do it, and what to make it like, all explained very carefully. Do you think there is a need for this? Everyone, do you think there is a need for this? What sealskin, blue, purple, scarlet thread, sealskin, acacia wood, ram skin dyed red, is it not okay to dye it blue? Isn't it?
Do you think there is a need for this? Yes! Why? I tell you, it is all about a person's attitude. I give you this, and you make it for me. Can you make it like this? If you cannot make it like this, there is a problem with your attitude. Why? Not rigorous.
Remember, rigor is an attitude. I especially hate that kind of attitude: "It's like this, isn't it good?" I super hate being careless, doing things sloppily, being sloppy, and then grinning, with people looking like crooked dates. What can you do with that? A head full of garbage. There is no why; it is because I want you to do it this way; I just want to see your attitude. There is no why.
I ask you, how do you write the "temple" in "temple"? Some people say, "Why do you write it this way?" There is no why, because that is how the word is written. If you do not write it this way, it is wrong. Some students go to school and keep asking "why, why?" all day long from the first grade of elementary school. He is just a "100,000 whys." He cannot possibly be good at learning, because many things have no why.
When building the church, there is no why; just do it according to the instructions, copy the homework, copy Jesus. People who are not rigorous will die. During David's time, there was a man named Uzzah. Uzzah saw that the ark of the covenant was about to fall, so he went to support the ark, and then he was struck down by God. If you do not understand it, you will feel that God is like this? You see that the ark of the covenant is about to fall, why kill this Uzzah?
Remember, God does not need people to help, do you understand? God does not need people to help. Once you help, it is over, it becomes Uzzah. Nadab and Abihu were Aaron's sons, priests. They were Moses' nephews; Moses was their uncle. Nadab and Abihu offered strange fire, which the Lord had not commanded, and fire burned them to death.
Do you think it is that serious? That is a high-voltage line; can you touch it? Uzzah died, Nadab and Abihu died, and many pastors have also died, because that is high-voltage electricity. What was Moses good at? Rigor. I rigorously copy, and David and Solomon were also like that.
You must be a rigorous person to be able to pastor. Without a rigorous attitude, how can you pastor haphazardly? Isn't it? The best pastoral care is to change these bad habits in you. The key is to strictly copy the homework, and do not invent new things yourself.
I once invented something. People say that Jesus was lifted up, and the Son of Man was lifted up to draw all people to Himself. I lifted up roast chicken and roast duck to attract a group of rice buckets to come to roast chicken and roast duck, and as a result, I was cursed. But I learn lessons quickly. I am not like some people who say that is the truth. Until now, there are still many people who think they have the truth in their hands, attracting a group of rice buckets, making me angry enough. I spent money and effort, and in the end, I was cursed.
Did you know that I have some deep regrets in my past life, that is, I did not have a renowned teacher to guide me. I tell you, I suffer from not having someone to guide me. If someone guides me, then I will copy the homework best, and I will go in that direction as soon as I am pointed, right? Jesus is the Son of God, the image of our heavenly Father, and we must copy Him well.
An old pastor in his eighties once told me to pray well, be self-reliant, and read the Word of God diligently. I can tell you, he told many people, but I must say that I have implemented it particularly well. It was not just a perfunctory response, it was a true transmission, a true transmission. So the background of this chapter is about one thing: copy the homework well.
You Must Have a Rigorous Attitude
Are there any accountants among us? You must have a rigorous attitude in doing accounts, and you must follow the accounting standards. You must get the subjects right, right? You must understand clearly what accounts need to be taxed, what is going on, and strictly follow God's instructions. Therefore, the most important thing in building a church is a rigorous attitude.
So God says you must be cautious, you must be cautious. How many cautious people are there among us? How many? Not many. A person who is not cautious has a very rough and bad habit. You will suffer greatly from this bad habit, and sometimes even lose your life. You think building a church is such a rigorous thing, if you do not build according to God's revelation, God will not dwell here, will the demons? The demons will definitely dwell here.
If anyone is willing, carefully examine the Word of God to see if what the Chinese Mingding Doctrine says is true or not, with a strict attitude. Whatever you do, especially building a church, is a more serious matter than building a nuclear power plant. Do not blow up the nuclear power plant, that is a place of no burial.
If a person does not have a rigorous attitude, as he does it, he feels that there is not so much gold, so he makes it with copper. Later, the person next to him says that iron will do. Later, another person comes and says that iron is also difficult, so tie it with a rope, and finally it becomes a hemp rope. Do you think that God will be with people after that thing is made? No, definitely not.
In fact, this matter is to make people have a rigorous attitude. What is rigorous? It is to do what people ask you to do, that is all. Do not mess around yourself. I am very emotional, a rigorous attitude is reflected in many aspects.
As you are doing it, the gold is used up, do you continue to do it according to the original pattern or make a piece of iron? Iron is iron, copper is copper, gold is gold, the difference is big, right? Even if I do not have it, I have to get it, and I have to do it according to the heavenly pattern.
Building a church is also like this. Is it difficult? It is difficult. You cannot persevere without faith. Many people cannot learn this set of church building methods of our Chinese Mingding Doctrine. Why? I ask you, can you learn it? Let us just find a church, Sunday service, Monday small group prayer meeting, Tuesday church prayer meeting, Wednesday Bible study, Thursday pastoral district prayer meeting, Friday Bible study, and then Sunday service. What should I do if I want to see friends? See them if you can, if you cannot, forget it.
Several powerful pastors once said: "Pastor Liu, it is impossible to follow your method in Singapore, impossible." How is it impossible? It is definitely possible, it is a rigorous attitude. According to Jesus' teachings, we build God's glorious church.
I tell you, I have a character. Back then when I was building the church, there was one church per square kilometer in Singapore, one church per square kilometer, many mega-churches. Then in this environment, I started to restart, start from scratch, and build God's church from zero. The difficulty is very great.
Now do the brothers and sisters feel very proud? I am in the Mingding Doctrine, the victorious church, right? Why? It is built according to the Word of God, and it attracts a group of brothers and sisters with this victorious heart.
No matter how rough you are, it does not matter, I tell you, our church will train you. A sister who used to be very rough in doing things has been very collapsed recently. She used to be rough in doing things and no one cared, but now she has encountered a place, changed a job, and cannot be rough anymore. Later she told me these things, I said: It does not matter, I will teach you, I will teach you.
You Must Overcome All Kinds of Difficulties
We Chinese people, two bombs and one satellite, in such a difficult era, we did it. Any thing you do, you have to overcome many difficulties. Think about what Moses is talking about here? What sea dog skin, what skin, what curtain, what acacia wood. In the wilderness, I ask you, will there be an Israelite carrying a pile of acacia wood in the wilderness? Is there? No, who is idle to carry a body of building materials in the wilderness.
Can you find someone carrying a lot of wood in the wilderness? No. Where to find acacia wood? It made Moses very difficult, right? Later, if one acacia wood is missing, how to do if it is short? It is just short. The sea dog skin has to be dyed red, where is the dye in the wilderness? Moses really overcame many difficulties, because this was originally God's will.
Is building a church difficult? It is difficult, but is it possible? It is possible. Is it difficult to find materials for building this tabernacle? It is difficult, so we have to train ourselves. The Chinese Mingding Doctrine is really a super fine theology, super fine. Last night, I was ministering to a cancer patient who had been given up by a doctor.
I ask you, if the doctor gives up, will I give up? I will not give up, I have God. I wish the doctor would give up earlier, do not interfere, right? Even if you are a doctor and you get cancer, you do not know who to find to treat it. As soon as I minister, I will raise the faith of the cancer patient, why? Because our God is the God who helps us overcome all kinds of difficulties.
Our God, even if there is no acacia wood, God can drop one from the sky. Even if you cannot find a job, God will create a job for you, right? Is it not possible to tailor it for you? Without the process of practicing faith, it is really a tragedy. A person must have faith in his life, insist on building God's church according to God's instructions, and break through all difficulties.
I tell you, in this process, every time you break through obstacles, you are passing five levels and killing six generals. Killing Yan Liang and Zhu Wen Chou, taking the head of the devil on the battlefield is like taking something out of a bag. The sword of the Holy Spirit in hand shakes, dang dang dang dang dang, the devil's heart is melted, this is what we want to be. Are there difficulties? Yes, but never give up. Do not say that the doctor has given up, under our prayer ministry, prayer is more effective than painkillers.
I tell you, in my faith, because I know that my God is the God who raises people from the dead. Let a person who is born blind, maybe there is no eyeball in his head, let a person who is born lame, originally has no knees, all have to be healed.
Our God is the God who raises people from the dead, is the God who heals us, is a God who performs miracles. No knees, make one, right? No legs, make one. I am a person who practices faith, because I practice faith, I saw with my own eyes that my mother's paralyzed waist can walk normally.
Because of practicing faith, many patients have been healed in my hands. I tell you, I just believe that all who come to seek Jesus are healed. But if you rely on Jesus on one hand and rely on doctors on the other, I think it is still a bit difficult. This is a very corrupt faith.
So yesterday I criticized this patient, you rely on the doctor, and treat Jesus as a spare tire. Jesus does not care about you, and has experienced a lot in the two months of healing, right? Why can you still not trust well? I really want to rebuke, rebuke our brothers and sisters for being too slow in faith, we believe too slowly.
Overcoming all kinds of difficulties is the practice of faith, building a church, overcoming the difficulties of faith is the practice of faith. We have to move forward, and continue to move forward, but it is full of all kinds of difficulties. We want to do an artificial intelligence pastoral care, is it difficult? It is difficult!
But you have to know that God is our investor, God will give us all the resources of heaven, there is nothing difficult to achieve. Awesome, right? Awesome! So practice faith, the dead will rise from the dead, the lepers will be cleansed, the lame will walk, the blind will see, and the cancer patients will come out of cancer. You must have this faith, and imitate such faith with me, this faith comes from Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
You Shall Tell the Israelites to Bring Gifts
You shall tell the Israelites to bring gifts, and only accept those who are willing, do not accept those who are unwilling. One person took a sea dog skin, and Moses saw it, is this not the sea dog skin I need? Hurry up, hurry up. As a result, when he looked at the person's face, it was very long, you want sea dog skin? Our family only has this sea dog skin, our family is finished at night. Tears are streaming down.
Moses said: I will give this sea dog skin back to you. What did Moses do? Forget it, take it back, and go cover your sea dog skin. Therefore, building God's glorious church will compete with people for resources, but that is not competing for resources, that is the best investment in a person's life, the glory of God.
Brothers and sisters should know that everyone has a share in God's glory, and they should be willing. If you do not understand the meaning of giving, we do not want it, right? Do not struggle. I tell you, giving is the best investment and the highest return for people.
I thank God that I made a decision with great effort back then, tithing. But I tell you, there is no better investment than this. God made me financially free in my short forty years, which is really good. Later I found that true freedom is still in Jesus Christ.
You Shall Make a Sanctuary for Me, that I May Dwell Among Them
And let them make me a sanctuary, that I may dwell among them. (Exodus 25:8)
The sanctuary must be built according to the pattern God has shown, and then this series of sanctuaries must be built clearly described, and then God can dwell among us. Why do you say God has to build a sanctuary? Do not ask why, because it is built according to God's instructions, how can God fool us?
Remember, our God is not like some women. Our God is absolutely faithful, not like women. The couple went out to eat, and the husband asked what shall we eat? Anything, anything. The husband thought about it, let us go to McDonald's, I do not want it. Then what shall we eat? Anything. Then let us eat KFC, I do not want it. Then what shall we eat? Anything.
Can you do that? Is there no faithfulness? God said that if you build it like this, I will be among you, God is not just saying it casually. Brothers and sisters should know that building a sanctuary must be built according to God's instructions to you. You must be careful, all the objects must be built according to God's instructions, and God will dwell among us. How much we long for God to dwell among us.
God dwelling among us is the most beautiful thing in a person's life. Therefore, build rigorously, and the church builds rigorously according to God's revelation and God's instructions. That is all written clearly in the Bible, just read it well, right? Therefore, Paul built the church with God's presence, but I think Timothy is a bit dangerous, a bit hanging.
You Shall Make an Ark of the Covenant, I Will Meet with You There
Meet with whom? Meet with Moses, make the ark of the covenant. Who made the ark of the covenant? It was made by Moses. What is placed in the ark of the covenant? The ark of the covenant contains the stone tablets of the Ten Commandments. The rings and poles of the ark of the covenant must always be in the rings and cannot be pulled out, once pulled out, it will be broken. How powerful is this ark of the covenant? It was captured by the Philistines, and as a result, the ark of the covenant protected itself.
When the Philistines got a cow and left the calves at home, they let the cow pull the cart with the ark of the covenant towards the Israelites, to see if the cow would go this way. I ask you, how could a cow that has just given birth to a calf send the ark of the covenant to the Israelites far away? It would not leave its calf. But this cow went straight all the way and dragged the ark of the covenant back.
Later, David wanted to bring the ark of the covenant into the holy city of Jerusalem, and what happened? They dragged it with a cart. The Bible says that the ark of the covenant cannot be dragged with a cart, that is what the Philistines used to drag it with a cart. So Uzzah put it on the cart, it is just a cabinet, just this thing, I have not even taken the gold off your body and pawned it in the pawnshop for so many years, what else do you want me to do? As a result, when it fell and he supported it, Uzzah died.
How many churches are pulling the ark of the covenant with a cart, and how many people have died, no one knows. How many Uzzahs have died building churches? How many Micahs are there building churches? How many grandsons of Moses are there? Creating one tragedy after another.
We make a covenant with God, God, we will build as you instruct us. No matter how difficult it is, we believe in you, you are our God. Do not be ignorant, you must be rigorous, people will die! Therefore, building according to God's instructions, building according to God's instructions, is God's temple.
Our sermon ends here, may God bless everyone.
