Introduction

Good day to all. I am here to share the second lecture in the series, The Gospel of Jesus Christ, titled Because He Has Anointed Me. This title is apt as it resolves many confusions within us. There are numerous confusions regarding the Gospel of Jesus Christ – not just about anointing, but also about the Holy Spirit, and everything else. What exactly is the Gospel of Jesus Christ? If it is called the Gospel, a good message, why does it not seem like good news?

When you go out to evangelise, do not tell people, Follow me and believe in the Lord. They will ask, Why should I follow you and believe in the Lord? If you follow me, you can carry a cross. People will respond, Friend, I am sorry, I carry a laptop bag to work every day, and my lumbar and cervical vertebrae are already strained. If I carry another cross, can you help me balance it and correct my spine? I am already very tired. You say, No, that cross is small, you just hang it around your neck. Is this really the Gospel? It does not seem like good news.

Actually, it is normal for you to have this confusion before coming to Chinese Mingding Destiny. I had this confusion when I was in the local church. Why does this church not resemble Jesus? It looks more like Santa Claus. During Christmas, when we were poor, we calculated every five or ten dollars for buying gifts, running up and down the stairs, exhausted. Is this the Gospel? They do not do what Jesus did, and they do a lot of what Jesus did not do. Why are there not many blessings, but a lot of disasters? Confusing, isn't it? I carried this confusion, feeling that the church was not good, that the sermons made people sleepy, and they would fall asleep as soon as they heard them.

I said, Shall we also build a church? Later, I realised that building a church was not a joke, and I found that this Gospel was not right. How is this Gospel so different from the Gospel of Jesus Christ? Now I will share my journey with you. I have one advantage: after making a mistake, I realise that it is wrong. What does the correct one look like? The correct one must resemble Jesus. If those who believe in Jesus do not resemble Jesus, then there is a problem. I have been pursuing resembling Jesus for so many years, and I have found that this Gospel is truly good news, extremely powerful.

The day before yesterday night, I had a feeling in my heart. At 1:30 AM, I sent a message to a new sister in the pastoral district I serve, asking, Are you well tonight? At 2:20 AM, she replied, Teacher, I cannot breathe, it hurts a lot, my chest hurts, my waist hurts, my back hurts. Do not be surprised, everyone, this is my daily life.

I asked, How did you get this illness? She explained that she was in the choir of the church, one of the leaders. While singing, she suddenly developed epilepsy, having seizures four times a day, foaming at the mouth, and suddenly falling. How could believing in the Lord lead to epilepsy? As a result, she broke her lumbar vertebra during a seizure one day and was sent to the intensive care unit.

When she opened her eyes and woke up, she found herself in the intensive care unit, and she collapsed. God! Where are you? God said, Where are you? There was extreme confusion in her heart. I worship God, I trust in the Lord Jesus, I am one of the leaders of the choir, why would God allow this to happen?

As a result, a good friend of hers, who is in our church, had shared Mingding Destiny with her before, but she did not take it seriously. Singing in the choir was so good, wasn't it? But when she got sick, she thought of us. Actually, our Chinese Mingding Destiny is quite interesting, receiving all such people. When she was well, she was fine in that church. Alas, when things went wrong, she came to us. I said, Look at what you have done. You did not come when you were well, but you had to wait until things went wrong to come? What kind of brain is that?

Then she remembered us and contacted us. I arranged for her to study among us. As a result, when she got a little better, she went back to the choir. After returning, she started hurting again and could not breathe again. This is quite strange. What kind of church is that? Is it giving you some pain? We solve pain, but it gives you some pain, some difficulty breathing. I am very confused. When serving, I grit my teeth, who told me I had this destiny? My destiny is to serve, so do not be picky. Since you have come, serve as if serving God.

I called her and led her in prayer. My prayer was a scolding and a rebuke of her. But I had to pace myself. If you do not pace yourself and scold her too much, wouldn't that be troublesome? If it cannot be torn down, would that work? Isn't it? In today's language, it is called an output. Okay, the pain is gone, the shortness of breath is gone, the pain has eased, and she slept well. The next morning, I said, How are you? She slept very well.

The problem is, we all say, What do you believe in? I believe in Jesus. What about believing in Jesus? I don't know. She knows nothing, only the choir. Is that the Gospel of Jesus Christ? I have never read in the Bible that Jesus runs a choir. When have you ever seen Jesus gathering a group of people wearing white robes, each holding a songbook, singing all kinds of bel canto?

What I have learned is not like that. Those of you who study vocal music, don't laugh at me, I only have these two skills. Where did that come from? I am too busy with those who are sick all day long, where did that come from? Believing in the wrong gospel brings a curse, and preaching the wrong gospel also brings a curse. Thank God, when I felt that something was wrong, I thought, What is the right thing? It tired me for many years, and I thought, What should this gospel be like?

I looked up and saw the drums, stage, lights in the church, and that strong anointing, blowing a breath and a whole group fell down. People invited me to attend a conference. When I looked, people were lying all over the ground. When it was my turn to serve, I asked, Who is sick, raise your hand. They all raised their hands. Those who fall all day long, have been falling for several days, what have you done? There are all kinds.

I was very surprised that the Gospel of Jesus Christ was distorted in this way. Why am I lecturing on this series, The Gospel of Jesus Christ? It is because there is too much of this smoggy stuff. Building the church in those days was with such a naive, innocent, and pure idea, thinking that the church should not be like this.

Later, I thanked God. I sought and sought, and I understood such a complex topic. It is very simple, like Jesus! Does everyone understand? Now look at those Christians who go to church to sell insurance and health products. Not many are like Jesus, but many are doing business.

I once went to Taiwan. A sister in Taiwan gave me a sentence, which sounds powerful in the Hokkien dialect: a bunch of people are shitting, but no one is laying eggs. You say this Gospel should be laying eggs, but now they are all shitting. Later, I explored this matter, like Jesus! I long to be like Jesus. Many people pour cold water on me, You look like Jesus? I thought, Can't I be like Jesus? If I don't look like Jesus today, I will look like Jesus one day. Am I not looking a bit like Jesus today?

Thank God, He made a very complex problem very simple. This is a useful Gospel because the Spirit of the Lord is upon me, and He has anointed me. This is the Gospel we preach. We preach a useful Gospel, a true Gospel. May everyone receive this great grace.

If you miss such a good gospel in your life, what are you going to do? I am forty-eight this year, and next I will be fifty-eight and sixty-eight. Thinking about it, it is quite tragic. One day, you won't be able to shit, pee, or get out of bed. That sounds scary, annoying. But the Gospel of Chinese Mingding Destiny that we believe in is a powerful Gospel!

That night, I ministered to this sister. This was in the second half of the night. In the first half of the night, I went to minister to a ninety-year-old man in a nursing home. When people get old, they trouble people, getting up and lying down at night. One moment, Help me up. Another moment, I want to lie down. The person taking care of him also gets up and lies down with him, doing this every hour. What do you think? Oh my god, it is also quite fatal. But I am exaggerating a little.

Then the old man said, That person is making me get up. Who is that person? Doesn't that sound scary? There are ghosts! For this kind of situation, I will give you an idea, try it. I led him to observe Holy Communion, eating the flesh of Jesus Christ and drinking the blood of Jesus Christ. We must be like Jesus! If we do not have the genes of Jesus in us, wouldn't that be fatal? As a result, when I asked the next day, he was better. Last night, he started reciting the Lord's Prayer and observing Holy Communion with his children. This is the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

The Gospel we believe in is the Gospel of Jesus Christ, not the Gospel of the choir, nor the Gospel of the band, but a useful Gospel. I treasure it as if I have found a treasure. Until today, I regard gaining Jesus Christ as the most precious thing, and I look upon all things as rubbish. To speak from the heart, I hope everyone can receive this grace like me. But you know what? You need to pay some price, but you will gain more.

If you do not pay the price, is the thing you believe in the Gospel of Jesus Christ? No. If you do not pay the price, you will be lying down and getting up, lying down and getting up in the future, and you will pay a lot of price. Many people who believe in the Lord do not like to pay the price, but worshipping the true God cannot be like worshipping idols. People who worship idols pay a higher price than Christians.

Why worship idols? Because there is no need to learn. Burn some incense, burn some paper, make something, do not want to understand, just want to mess around blindly, and do not want to understand. They just hope that a person with great anointing will lay hands on them and they will receive it. Many people ask, Teacher, can I contact you? What do you want to contact me for? You pray for me, and I will be healed. Isn't that a tragic idea?

I tell you, it is not that I have this ability, but that the Spirit of the Lord is upon me, and He has anointed me. I am willing to pay the price, what about you? Because this is a treasure. It is so good for you to go and gain it according to what Jesus Christ said. You gain it firsthand from God, so I don't sell you a secondhand version. Do not worship masters anymore, did you hear that?

After a sister believed in Jesus, she became very poor and was blacklisted. That was also a list of celebrities, a list of blacklists, and she was also the leader of the church's prayer team. You say the church's prayer team, living in the church, a bunch of people praying there, oh my god, is that correct? I was filled with emotion. Can the leader of the prayer team not be confused?

Later, she came to study among us and realised that the thing she believed in was not the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It was just messing around blindly, not knowing anything and messing around blindly. If you did not mess up correctly, did you not know? If it is said that it is not the Gospel of Jesus Christ, do you not know? If you do not know now, you have to know now, do not mess around blindly anymore.

They believe in a gospel that makes the rich poor, but the true Gospel is to make the poor rich. We believe in the Gospel of healing, not the Gospel of getting cancer. We believe in a blessed good news. If you want to be blessed, you need to understand both blessings and curses, don't you?

A sister in the same church as her became poor, but another sister was even worse. She got cancer, and recently it spread to her bones. It is called cancer in the bone marrow, and her child has depression. One of our pastors said that she seemed to have come to us before, seeking help for her child's depression.

But because this person is a rough person, does not like to read, and does not like to study, she just hoped that we would fix her child. We didn't fix her child, so she gave up. Now she has breast cancer and bone cancer, isn't this a tragedy? Then what does she believe in? After so many years in the church, she believes in folk remedies. Someone said that someone invented a medicine and gave it to her for free, so she used it.

A few days ago, she did another CT scan. If doing CT scans is useful, do it every day. Isn't this a tragedy? Oh, I am filled with emotion. It is too troublesome to come to study among us, but isn't it more troublesome if you don't study? It is too troublesome to come to study, but isn't there more trouble now without studying? There is more trouble.

I remind everyone that the Gospel preached by the Lord Jesus is like this. He said: The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because He has anointed me to preach the Gospel to the poor, to proclaim release to the captives, freedom to the oppressed, and recovery of sight to the blind. Do you understand this time? That is to say, this is a Gospel with a destiny. What is anointing? Anointing is destiny.

This is a Gospel with authority, this is a powerful Gospel. The word “anointing” is a confusing word in Christian circles, and it often comes with a superstitious colour. But when we explain it, it is easy. Anointing is a destiny! Anoint David, You are to be the king of Israel. This is an appointment! As a result, after being anointed, David began to flee. That is not being a king, that is fleeing.

After the appointment, there will be a series of tests, which is normal. But God is with David. Because this anointing has a superstitious colour, no one understands what anointing is. I have seen some pastors holding microphones, with hundreds of people below, and then, “Woo,” “Woo,” exhaling the anointing. That is similar to singing bel canto in the choir, even I can do it.

Chinese Mingding Destiny is a theology that pays great attention to understanding. What exactly is anointing? We must explain it clearly and clearly. We must explain the Gospel of Jesus Christ clearly and clearly. We must have sufficient confidence in the understanding of every part of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It is not confused faith, but clear and definite faith. That is so good.

Some pastors seem to be anointed, but it is not the case, especially the Pentecostal. People ask, Then what faction are you? I think I am of the Jesus faction. I want to be like Jesus. If I am not of the Jesus faction, then what faction am I of? Being charismatic or not is not important.

Chinese Mingding Destiny has done a very lovely thing, which is to sort out these chaotic concepts one by one. Now I will share with you in detail the second lecture of the series The Gospel of Jesus Christ, He has anointed me. The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, He has anointed me, these are two key preparations before preaching the Gospel.

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon us” brings the power of the Holy Spirit. “He has anointed me” means that God has given me an appointment, and I already have the Shangfang sword in my hand. This is a mission, this is an appointment, this is a receipt of authority, and this is also a destiny. From now on, I live for this, I live for this, and I die for this. This is a destiny.

So what did Jesus Christ come to do? He has anointed me, Jesus said. Today this Gospel, this good news, will be fulfilled in your ears. Brothers and sisters, you must know that God also wants to anoint you and then preach the Gospel. How to explain this anointing? David was anointed and anointed to be the king of Israel; Saul was anointed to be the king of Israel; Aaron was anointed to be the high priest. This is an appointment.

What was Jesus anointed to do? To accomplish salvation on the cross. Jesus did not run away. Jesus came with a mission and continued with the mission until He accomplished this thing and said on the cross: “It is done.” Every time I think of this cross, that Jesus Christ died for me, I am extremely touched in my heart. He died for me, died for me on the cross, accomplished the power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ for me, but we do not care about it. We are really sorry for God.

What Jesus Christ did is what we are to do. How Jesus Christ came over this road, we must also walk. The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, and He has anointed me. From that day on, I knew that I was to live for the Lord, live for the Lord, and die for the Lord.

Isn't it a tragedy for a Christian without a destiny? When they come, they just chat with Jesus and always want to freeload in the church. These words sound harsh, but the fact is that this is such a promiscuous guy. Receive the Gospel with a destiny and preach the Gospel with a destiny. I tell you that a Christian without a destiny receives a Gospel without a destiny, it is like what? It is like a person who does not have the ability to touch the tiger’s ass. Isn't this waiting to be bitten, to be bitten half to death?

If you do not have the ability, you can’t touch the ass of a big bear or the ass of a tiger. You can’t even touch the ass of a wolf. Dare you touch the ass of a dog? Brothers and sisters, if we do not receive this destiny and go and touch the devil’s ass, what are you going to do? Will the devil not fix you? Is that explained clearly? It is explained clearly and clearly, these are the disasters that these people have suffered in the church.

Brothers and sisters, I must tell you, where are the greatest demons? The greatest demons are in the temple. Where was Jesus crucified? By whom was He crucified? He was crucified by the high priest and those Pharisees. I ask you, are the demons on those people big or not? They are big. It is the same in the church, and the ending is really tragic.

Not being like Jesus, not knowing that you have messed up, is the greatest tragedy in a person’s life of believing in the Lord. If you believe, believe in the Gospel of Jesus Christ; if you believe, believe in the Gospel with a destiny; if you believe, believe to the point of treating the Gospel of Jesus Christ as the treasure of my life. To believe in a Gospel that is not the Gospel of Jesus Christ, a Gospel without a destiny, this Gospel will not only not become a treasure but will also bring disaster.

So to believe in Jesus, go to the church and believe in the wrong Gospel, you still have to spend time. Then, after spending time, it does not work at the critical moment. Don't you think this is a tragedy? Open the scripture, Luke Chapter 4, verses 16 to 21.

And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read. And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written, The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord. And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him. And he began to say unto them, This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears.(Luke 4:16-21)

Prayers

God, anoint us today. God, let us receive this Mingding Destiny from you today. Let us obtain all the authority you have in heaven, on earth, and under the earth, so that we can build your glorious church on this earth and trample on the enemies of the devil. Let us manifest your glory on this earth.

Let your gospel, once again, manifest the glory it ought to have. Let those who are deceived return to you and receive their Mingding Destiny . From now on, Lord, grant us wisdom and intelligence so that we may live for you, be born for you, and die for you. Today, we place all our service in your hands. In the name of Jesus Christ! Amen!

Scriptural context

In the previous session, we talked about how Jesus was filled with the Holy Spirit, then tempted, and then full of power. Then he returned to Galilee and performed many miracles there, and his fame spread everywhere. No one had ever seen such a person. The miracles Jesus performed were unprecedented, proving with great power that he was the Son of God. As a result, he wandered around and ended up in his hometown of Nazareth, where he had grown up since he was a child.

He probably lived there from the time he wore open-crotch pants until he grew up. He was the son of a carpenter, and I think he probably worked as a carpenter too, and everyone knew him. When he arrived at the synagogue, he raised his hand and said, I want to read a passage from the Bible. Everyone thought, This kid is quite something; his fame has already spread everywhere. Then go ahead and read. So he opened Isaiah 61:1.

He said, The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me. Why is the Spirit of the Lord upon him? Because he anointed him. After the anointing, the Spirit of the Lord was upon him, to preach the gospel to the poor. This is very interesting. These are the two most important things before preaching the gospel to the poor.

Brothers and sisters, you need to know that you may be very capable, but if your purpose, your Mingding Destiny , is to make money, that is for profit. If you want to be famous, that is for fame and fortune, and the trouble is great. But Jesus came, and why was he able to overcome the devil's temptation? Because he came with a Mingding Destiny .

Many Christians, after believing in the Lord, are tested by the devil and collapse. Doesn't the devil rub them on the ground? Sparks are flying. How can you live like that? If you're idle and believe in the Lord, why poke the devil in the butt? You can see stars in the daytime. Why was Jesus able to overcome the devil's temptation? Because he had a Mingding Destiny .

Many pastors have shared with me that they have a dream of buying a house to use as a church, preferably a detached house with a large cross on top. This is what they are pursuing, so this thing is very harmful. Is that a church? That is not a church; is that what Jesus wants? That is not what Jesus wants, so it is very deadly.

Some pastors are fooled by some Christian businessmen, resulting in loans of hundreds of millions, and then the epidemic comes, and they cannot gather or receive offerings. How do you repay the loan? As a result, the pastor ran away. Many people's dream is not to obtain the Mingding Destiny of Jesus Christ; they do not want to be anointed. Because Jesus' answer to the devil was powerful and not a joke.

I came into this world, I was born for this, I live for this, and I will die for this. You devil are just a small thing in front of me. I will press the devil on the ground and rub him until he sees stars in the daytime. Do you understand?

We have to think carefully about believing in the Lord. Do you really want to believe in the Lord? Among us, we give you a very, very long time to study, and then you can make a decision, lest you make a decision too hastily and cannot afford the price. But I tell you, if it is truly your Mingding Destiny , I was born for this, I am prepared to die for this. Oh, that is so powerful; the gospel of Jesus Christ has become your treasure.

You have to figure it out clearly. What do we invest, and what do we get? Let me tell you, the return is extremely rich. No one can change the mission of Jesus Christ coming to this earth! This is the gospel that our Lord Jesus preached. The gospel that the Lord Jesus preached is a gospel with a Mingding Destiny . What we preach today is a gospel with a Mingding Destiny . Following me to believe in the Lord is not to do anything else, but to fully receive the benefits of this gospel.

Some years ago, when I was doing the 201 Course, I told you that the level of our 201 Course was still very high. The first lecture was on how to search the Bible; the second lecture was on how to do healing and deliverance; and the third lecture was on preaching the gospel with a Mingding Destiny . So Jesus Christ being anointed is the most important thing in a person's life.

You say, How do I know if God has anointed me or not? You choose for yourself. God sits on His throne, searching and searching on the earth, looking for those who seek and want to have a Mingding Destiny . There are not many. The church has thirty or fifty thousand people, but after searching and searching, you can't find a few with a Mingding Destiny . That is why Jesus Christ came.

I think he has anointed me is such a thing that overcomes the devil's lies. Some people say, God is hiring; we have to go for an interview. Before your interview, quickly study the 201 Course, or if you don't know anything when asked, wouldn't that be troublesome?

Removing the Misconceptions About Anointing

The misconception about anointing is a very serious misconception. Can everyone say what anointing is? Anointing is when the pastor prays on stage, and wow, a large group of people all fall down. Is that what anointing is? Why didn't I see Jesus fall down? If Jesus anointed and bang, fell down, wouldn't that be troublesome? The misconception about anointing is the most deadly in our generation. The church has a very anointed pastor. This person is very anointed. What exactly is anointing? Why don't I think this is an anointing? Come, let me explain.

There was a sister who went to find all kinds of anointed pastors. As a result, from the age of fifteen to thirty-five, for twenty years, she suffered from migraines and went to all kinds of anointed prayer meetings and deliverance conferences, but it didn't work. She went to many places like Benny Hinn and Johnson, but it didn't work.

One day, when her mother was praying with me, she had a migraine attack and asked me through her mother if I could pray for her. I said, No problem. Why? Because this is my Mingding Destiny , to serve people as if serving God. After I finished serving her mother, I prayed with her for five minutes, and she was healed. Then she said, Pastor, I have a question for you. I said, Ask away. Why don't so many anointed pastors work? Why does it work when I come to you?

Isn't that obvious? That's anointing. I said, I have a characteristic: since I have served your mother, and you came to me through your mother, if I don't fix this thing this time, I will fix it next time. If it's not good next time, I will keep fixing it. If I can't fix it, I will call my disciples to fix it with me. It must be good, because there is nothing that is not good with me, unless you say, Teacher, forget it; I give up.

She said, Why do you do this? I said, This is my Mingding Destiny . I came into this world to do this! Those anointed pastors prayed for you and didn't heal you, so they patted their butts and left? They went to the back to count the offerings. I want to remove this misconception about anointing so that we no longer chase after stars but chase after Mingding Destiny . I hope you all become people with a Mingding Destiny .

After this migraine was healed, wow, she took her husband and children out to play, continued to post on social media, and was finally able to love the world and enjoy this world. I don't morally kidnap her. But when the time comes, there will definitely be a day when she can't poop or pee, because that is the kingdom of the devil. Is that called believing in the Lord? That is not called believing in the Lord. The demon will come again. After the migraine is healed, she runs off somewhere, and when it comes back, it will definitely be a big one.

Everyone must know that believing in the Lord is a very dangerous thing. Why is it dangerous? You want to believe in the Lord and love the world at the same time. Isn't that adultery? The devil attacks you, and God attacks you. Isn't that enough to give you a headache? So the misconception about anointing is not what we traditionally think it is. We just feel like it is very powerful. If he really has anointing, why doesn't he care if the prayer doesn't heal? He waves his hand and says, That's it; I'm leaving. I have many kingdom ministries.

Anointing Is a Mingding Destiny

The anointing that Jesus received, the anointing that David, Saul, and Aaron received, was all an appointment. From then on, you have to take on this responsibility. If you want to be a disciple of Jesus Christ, you have to take on this Mingding Destiny and responsibility, to go into all the world and preach the gospel to all nations, preaching the gospel with a Mingding Destiny .

If you don't have a Mingding Destiny yourself, what gospel with a Mingding Destiny are you preaching? Don't ever think that you can touch the devil's butt without a Mingding Destiny , without a heart to live and die for this. The devil will rub you on the ground until you see stars in the daytime. This is not a joke.

The Chinese Mingding Destiny theology preaches the gospel with a Mingding Destiny ! You say, How do I get a Mingding Destiny ? You have to explore, you have to understand whether this gospel is a gospel or not. If this gospel is a treasure, an opportunity, do you want it? This is a treasure with a huge profit. It is not a joke. The gospel of Jesus Christ is so good. Don't spoil this thing. Then let's do the math. What do we invest, and what do we get back? It must be worth it, to get a hundredfold return.

So this is a Mingding Destiny ! Are you willing to make a decision and say, From now on, I will live for God and die for God. My goodness, this touches a sensitive area. I can tell you why God uses me: because I have no hope in the things of the world. I have no hope in the things of the world at all, from young to old, I have never hoped for them. I know that the things of this world are really meaningless.

Having traveled through these villages, whether in China or America, they all look the same. The cities all over the world look the same. Sometimes they spray some exterior paint, colorful, but it is meaningless. And I also know that I will definitely leave this world one day. I thought, since I will leave this world one day, what can I get? I want to obtain hope in eternity, a crown of glory in eternity.

I am not stupid. After calculation, I decided that from now on, I will live for my God. I know very clearly that the gospel of Jesus Christ is my treasure. This is my choice. Why is it called Mingding Destiny theology? Mingding Destiny theology does not preach going to heaven after death; it preaches walking the path of Jesus Christ while alive.
