Deuteronomy 17: Studying to Fear the Lord Your God!

2024-09-25 1,121 Deuteronomy

Introduction

Good day, everyone. We will be discussing Chapter 17 of Deuteronomy. Several titles can be chosen for this chapter. The first possible title is Knowing What God Abhors, and the second is Learning to Fear the Lord Your God. I believe that Learning to Fear the Lord Your God is the more appropriate theme. It is a perilous thing for people not to fear God, to be unaware of the immensity of heaven and earth.

You must understand that nothing that happens to us in this world is accidental, even though we may perceive it as such. These events that befall people are, in fact, predetermined in the spiritual realm. You must realize that if you see someone experiencing extreme misfortune, you should be cautious! Why? Because this is a person whom God abhors. And why does God abhor this person? Because they do not fear God and often engage in activities that God detests. God abhors this person, and after abhorring them, God curses them, and after being cursed, this person becomes extremely unlucky.

Once, someone was brought into my office. When they walked in from outside, my spiritual eyes opened. Please do not pursue this; just listen. If it opens for you, it opens; if not, it does not matter. I saw and said, Why are there so many demons behind this person? The demons were like the musical notes do-re-mi-fa-so-la-ti-do, each shorter than the last. The last demon was so small, about the size of a mouse. Wherever he went, these things followed, and when he turned, the demons turned with him.

I said, God, what is this? God said, This person is very unlucky. I had everyone sit down and started chatting, exchanging pleasantries. I said, Does this friend you brought often encounter bad things? I asked very subtly. He said, Oh! How did you know? Of course, I could not tell him.

He was unlucky in everything he did. Others could succeed and make a lot of money, but when he tried the same thing, it would completely fail. I said, People must learn to fear the Lord your God! Do not be unaware of the immensity of heaven and earth; many things are beyond your control.

I. Sacrifices Must Not Be of Defective or Diseased Cattle and Sheep

If one is to offer a sacrifice to God, why offer defective or diseased cattle and sheep? It would be better to offer nothing at all. Therefore, I am surprised that some people offer defective or diseased cattle and sheep. God might have said, It is fine to ignore him; I will simply not bless him. But instead, he insists on offering a sacrifice, disgustingly offering cattle and sheep with defects and diseases.

What is the reason for this? People do not know how to fear God. Can you say that this offering was made? Yes, it was. You cannot say that it was not offered. But the problem with this offering is very serious. Think about it; even Cain's offering was better. At least Cain did not offer defective or diseased cattle and sheep. Cain's problem was only his attitude; he grabbed a handful and offered it to God. If grabbing a handful and offering it to God is already cursed, offering defective or diseased cattle and sheep to God is asking for trouble, isn't it?

God might have said, I will ignore him and let it be. But because of this sacrifice, He curses him. God says, So, you offer me diseased and defective cattle and sheep. I think, What is this person thinking? He has such audacity! As the Cantonese would say, He has such fat guts! How can you be so bold with God? It would be better not to offer a sacrifice at all; that is the core of the problem.

Therefore, you must understand that if you are going to give, do not make it seem like you are giving a tip; it would be better not to give at all. I detest the attitude of tipping God. I like to observe. In the local church where I believed, I observed that some Christians were cursed, while others were blessed. It was very strange.

When I first believed, I made a decision to attend classes and be baptized as a Christian. The first lesson was about giving. Oh my! Did I struggle? Of course! It was real money. At that time, did you really value eternal life? That came later.

Back then, the most important thing was to escape from curses and unlucky days. There really is eternal life, but I saw this life a little too clearly and almost escaped into emptiness. What happened? I made a decision to give! I often heard people in the church feeling pain when they gave, so I decided that I must also feel pain. What does it mean to feel pain? It means that when taking out the money, you feel heartache, but I had to learn to fear God.

I would never dare to give with the attitude of tipping God. Why? Because my work is given by God. What can I say? Those who believed at the same time as me, were not supposed to give ten percent? These people gave only five percent. What are you going to do with the remaining five percent? If you are going to give, then give according to God's requirements; do not skimp.

Once, a person who earned two thousand two hundred yuan a month gave two hundred and kept twenty for himself. He came with his friend and said to him, I am not as foolish as you; you all give ten percent, but I only give nine percent. I was very surprised and thought, What is this person thinking? You must understand that this person did not receive grace in our midst. The grace he received was like a blind man seeing or a cripple walking.

He was a very unlucky person. What are you going to do with that nine percent? How much is that remaining one percent worth? I do not understand. Because people do not understand the meaning of giving, they are cursed! If you do not understand the meaning of giving, do not give, because after giving, God, who originally intended to give you a smaller curse, now doubles it. Therefore, sacrifices must not be of defective or diseased cattle and sheep; this is not a joke.

I ask you, would you dare to do this when giving gifts to the governor or mayor? Then why dare to do it with God? Because people think it is okay. If you think it is okay, it does not mean it is okay; it is a big deal. Many people are very casual in their giving, but you must realize that even if things are good now, unlucky days have not yet arrived. God is letting things remain as they are for now; it is not that you do this today and become unlucky tomorrow.

I tell you, all unlucky things are sown well, grow seeds, and bear fruit. You must eat it whether you want to or not. That is why when I see someone unlucky, failing in everything they do, I have a little thought in my mind: this person must have a problem; you can ponder it slowly. What is this for learning? Giving is for learning to fear the Lord your God.

II. Do Not Serve Other Gods; Do Not Worship Idols

When Moses wrote Deuteronomy, God said to him:

“If there is found in your midst, in any of your towns which the Lord your God is giving you, a man or a woman who does what is evil in the sight of the Lord your God, by transgressing His covenant, and has gone and served other gods and worshiped them, or the sun or the moon or any of the heavenly host, which I have not commanded, and it is told you, and you have heard of it, then you shall inquire carefully. And behold, if it is true and the thing is certain that this detestable thing has been done in Israel, then you shall bring out that man or woman who has done this evil deed to your gates, that is, the man or the woman, and you shall stone them to death. On the evidence of two witnesses or three witnesses he who is to die shall be put to death; he shall not be put to death on the evidence of one witness. The hand of the witnesses shall be first against him to put him to death, and afterward the hand of all the people. So you shall purge the evil from your midst. (Deuteronomy 17:2-7)

Being stoned to death makes people afraid and prevents them from doing such things. What is the reason? Because God abhors these things, God abhors them greatly. Giving is a slightly smaller matter, giving defective or diseased cattle and sheep. Serving other gods and worshiping idols is life-threatening.

Why are many Christians unlucky? Why are many pastors in churches unlucky? Some have accumulated misfortune, while others have scattered misfortunes, coming every now and then. Accumulated misfortune leads to great misfortune, while scattered misfortunes are small misfortunes.

Why is this? Because they are both Christians and idol worshipers, which is life-threatening. Christians should really not love money and should really not worship Mammon. If a person who believes in the Lord still loves money, it is very dangerous; it is a sin to be punished by death! Does this happen in churches? Churches no longer care about this matter and no longer drag people outside to stone them to death, but this is God's will.

Why? Because God brought the believers out of Egypt with a mighty hand and brought them to the promised land, giving them cities to dwell in. What happened then? They went to worship idols. Worshiping idols will definitely bring misfortune; there is no need to think about it. But some people say, That is not what I see. Look at him; he loves money so much, but he is fine. You must know that the time has not yet come; when the time comes, it will be difficult to reverse.

That is why I especially dislike serving these pastors and church leaders. When they contract terminal illnesses, it is very difficult. Why is it difficult? There are several difficulties. After people sin, they become unlucky, and their hearts become hardened. If you tell them, You are cursed because you have sinned, they will say, You are the one who is cursed! and then compete with me to see who is more cursed. People have idols in their hearts. Sigh, it brings tears to my eyes to talk about it. We feel sad when we see people living in curses. Sometimes we tell the truth, but what is the use of telling the truth? It is useless. Why? Because God hardens their hearts. They are used to being hardened and do not fear God.

Do not think that worshiping idols is okay. That is why I often say, Oh, brother, maybe you will have better luck if you go to the temple and worship. Am I being a bit sarcastic when I say this? Yes, a bit. I am thinking that if he did not believe in the Lord, he might have better luck and fewer unlucky days if he went to the temple and worshiped idols more. Is it not asking for trouble for a Christian to both believe in the Lord and worship idols? Is he trying to go against God to the end?

Therefore, Christians should never worship idols, and Christians should never have idols in their hearts. This is a sin to be punished by death. In our generation, once God wants to punish someone to death, do you think He will give him a chance? God will not give him a chance. It is just that God has mercy on me, and I still have to build his faith to the last moment, hoping that he can repent. Being a pastor is also very difficult!

Some people say, Teacher, haven't people said that going to the hospital is a blessing in disguise? I would never say this. I would only say, You must repent, and God will definitely heal you. But the answer I have received until now is that people are one hundred percent hardened, and not one is willing to repent. It is really strange!

Later, I discovered that many people were created by God to be vessels of wrath, but I still serve with faith! Did you see Lot? Was Lot's heart hardened? It was hardened. His wife became a pillar of salt, but he still refused to return to Abraham. Lot thought, Why should I return to Abraham? That would be so embarrassing! Therefore, what is crooked cannot be straightened. Our brothers and sisters must have soft hearts. I tell you, when you encounter problems and see that you are unlucky, be afraid and terrified. If you do not want to live through unlucky days, turn back to God!

Some time ago, someone who had left the church for a long time inquired here and there, then added me as a friend and chatted with me for a few sentences, just typing, not even voice messages, and then disappeared. Then continue to live difficult days, continue to be hardened. You can definitely decide how you want to live. You can definitely offer defective or diseased cattle and sheep as sacrifices. You can definitely serve idols and serve God at the same time.

But you will never escape; you cannot escape, because God governs all things and has never let anyone off. Brothers and sisters, never think that our God is not a God who punishes people to death. The Bible says, You must bring that person out to the city gates and stone them to death.

Some people say, Paul was also stoned. Being stoned is the same, but some are for sin, and some are for the glory of God. Therefore, you must ponder this matter slowly. Do not say to me, Teacher, Paul was also stoned. Why? Because they thought Paul was cursed. Was Jesus not crucified? People are like this; they do not know why there is always something missing in their minds.

III. Do Not Disobey the Priests Who Stand Before the Lord

“If any case arises before you in your cities which is too difficult for you to judge, between one kind of homicide and another, between one kind of lawsuit and another, and between one kind of assault and another, matters of controversy in your cities, then you shall arise and go up to the place which the Lord your God chooses. So you shall come to the Levitical priests and to the judge who is in office in those days, and you shall inquire of them and they will declare to you the verdict in the case. You shall do according to the terms of the verdict which they declare to you from that place which the Lord chooses; and you shall be careful to observe according to all that they teach you. According to the terms of the law which they teach you, and according to the verdict which they tell you, you shall do; you shall not deviate from the word which they declare to you, to the right or the left. The man who acts presumptuously by not listening to the priest who stands there to serve the Lord your God, nor to the judge, that man shall die; thus you shall purge the evil from Israel. Then all the people will hear and be afraid, and will not act presumptuously again. (Deuteronomy 17:8-13)

What happens if you secretly worship idols, secretly do these bad things, and secretly offer diseased cattle and sheep to God? Unlucky things happen. What is unlucky? Being involved in lawsuits is not a good thing, it is unlucky! What does God command at this time? God says to obey the judges. Are the judges always right? If the priest who stands before the Lord is old Eli, can he speak correctly? It does not matter. You have already gotten into unlucky things, whether it is homicide, lawsuits, or assaults. But people still think they are right.

There is a reason behind everything that happens. Why? Because people do not fear God. Not fearing God is a very dangerous thing. You can choose not to fear, but I tell you that in order to save a little money, by not fearing God, a lawsuit can wipe out almost half of your family property.

Some people are simply unlucky. A bicycle crashes and is destroyed, or you hit someone while riding a scooter, or you are hit by a scooter, or you step on air and break a bone, or something else. There are many things. Some people go to court because of this, whether it is homicide, lawsuits, or assaults. Then the judge makes an unfair judgment, and you become very angry, and you want to appeal again and again. Do you think it is unlucky? There is something even more unlucky. She sees someone fall and helps them up, but is then extorted. The judge says, If you did not hit them, why did you help them up? I tell you, these things are very strange, representing that people are simply unlucky.

I tell you, reflect on yourself well before God, put an end to these unlucky days, and give blessed days a new beginning. You hear the judge but do not listen, and continue to accuse and pursue the matter to the death. Therefore, you must know that sometimes I am not speaking sarcastically. I am simply saying things according to your intentions. Why should I speak sarcastically? Some people are unlucky, and when it comes to things of God, they are dishonest and insist on haggling with God. It is not that they have not received God's grace. They still act this way after receiving grace, and they do not reflect when they encounter unlucky things.

I tell you, everything in this world is under God's control. Even if the judge makes an unfair judgment, we should never try to judge good and evil. Can God not govern? God can govern. Are you filled with emotion? I am filled with emotion. Therefore, I tell you that it is best for Christians to live peacefully and devoutly. Why? Because you fear God. I tell you, if strange things keep happening in your house, you need to be careful! I tell you, no amount of money can stop disasters. That is how it is, so we must be very careful when serving.

Even as I share these things with you, you must serve people with faith in God. You cannot just slap a label on someone, because once you do, you cannot minister to them. Although I often carry a sense of internal conflict: Oh, he is so unlucky, cursed. But my task is not to label people, but to bring them out of the curse. Even when I have to tell them the truth, I am not labeling them; I have to bring them out of the curse. Is it hard work? Yes, it is. But this is our job, we need to know that God is full of grace and mercy.

Write these words in the Book of Deuteronomy, so that we may learn to fear the Lord your God! Let people learn to fear God, and we too learn to fear God. Once we fear God, our job is not to judge, but to release people from bondage. You say there is a pile of evil spirits on his body, and it is really hard to tell whether it is his doing or the evil spirit's, because he is so united with the evil spirit.

The Bible mentions: if you are not doing what you want to do, and you do not do what you want to do, and you do what you do not want to do, then it is the sin within you that is doing it. Good! I choose to believe you by faith, but can you choose to fear God? You must not continue to sow the seeds of this curse. As you sow, so shall you reap. What you sowed twenty years ago, you reap now. Imagine how big the fruit will be.

Some people sow things that take a thousand years to bear fruit, and it grows in their generation. How are you going to swallow it? Eat it slowly. So when you encounter bad luck, do not expect the judge to help. If they judge you as unlucky, you must know that God is doing this to you because you have done many things that God abominates, and you have become a thing devoted to destruction yourself! Repent quickly, and do what is right in the eyes of the Lord.

Among us, those who are unlucky, poor, and those who are deceived must have a reason. So I say to those unlucky people who are often rubbed on the ground by demons all their lives, they should reflect carefully. I cannot help you, but God can help you! Start turning back to God, receive God's grace, do not argue with God, and obey the voice of the Lord your God.

Four, Appointing a King Whom God Has Chosen

Let me tell you, appointing a king is something that God abominates! But God knows that the Israelites will definitely appoint a king. Why? Let me tell you. Because these sacrifices went wrong, serving other gods went wrong, and after bad luck, the judges and priests before God judged, and they were still not convinced, thinking it was a problem with the system.

I have to tell you. Under any system, there are blessed people, and under any system, there are unlucky people. I do not quite believe that the system will affect a person's blessing. I have the Bible as my basis, it is not the system that determines you, it is God who determines you. Did the King of Babylon worship idols? Yes, he did. Then I ask you, Daniel was under the King of Babylon, and their palace was full of idols, all things devoted to destruction, but Daniel did not call them things devoted to destruction. What does it have to do with the system? Nothing.

Joseph was a prime minister in Egypt, and Pharaoh's house was full of idols. Pharaoh of Egypt said: Joseph, come here and have lunch with me, let us discuss this matter. Did Joseph eat? Yes. Did the food worship idols? I do not know. Even if it did, but you are in front of Pharaoh, dare you not eat it? But Joseph was fine, even with all the things devoted to destruction. Was it difficult? No. Because the Spirit of God lived in Joseph.

I have to tell you, brothers and sisters, be very careful. Do not blame the environment, do not blame the system, do not blame the officials. If that official is corrupt, it does not affect your blessing. Even if that official is honest and upright, it will not delay your curse, it is all because of yourself. If the Spirit of God lives in you, you are the same everywhere.

I thank God! God wrote these stories in the Bible; otherwise, where would we know them from? People blame this, blame that, and finally blame the system: we do not like the system like Moses. We do not like this system or that system. So I do not like talking about systems.

For a while, I heard many people mention friends, classmates, and family members, and as soon as they said this, it was a systemic problem. As soon as they said that, it was a systemic problem. Why does it sound like they want to rebel? Do you want to rebel? Do you think the system is bad? Is it a systemic problem? It is a curse, it is all people's own problems.

Brothers and sisters, I am not speaking official words for the government; I am telling you the truth: deal well with yourself! It is a long way before you change the system, isn't it? If you are really arranged to do that job, you may not necessarily do it better than others, right?

We should examine ourselves well. Are you blessed? If you are blessed, you are blessed even in Pharaoh's palace in Egypt. Do you believe it? If you are not blessed, there is nothing you can do. Understand? So the reason for appointing or not appointing a king is because people have doubts about the system.

So people hate God managing them, they think the system is not good, they have to appoint a king, they think: once we have a king, we will be fine. Were they fine? No, they blamed the system. God had already calculated that the Israelites would definitely blame the system. This generation of Christians will definitely blame the system, right? Sigh! I tell you, in the Bible, Paul was not a rebellious Paul, even if he was caught in prison, he would not rebel.

There is no example of rebellion in the Bible, so the authorities above are all established by God. If you are a blessed person, no matter what, the boss above will like you, and you cannot even explain why. Appoint a king, appoint one whom God has chosen. God has lowered the requirements for the Israelites many times. God said: Okay, you like to appoint a king, then appoint one.

Like I said, if you like to play, then play; if you like to travel, travel well; if you like to mahjong, mahjong well. I added a sentence later, Play to death. As a result, the matter of choosing a king, did they choose later? God put forward several requirements.

“You shall surely set a king over you whom the Lord your God will choose; one from among your brethren you shall set as king over you; you may not set a foreigner over you, who is not your brother. Only, he shall not multiply horses for himself or cause the people to return to Egypt in order to multiply horses, since the Lord has said to you, ‘You shall never return that way again.’ (Deuteronomy 17:15-16)

Five, Do Not Return to Egypt to Multiply Horses

I have never quite understood the matter of multiplying horses. Can you go to Egypt to buy some cattle back? Yes. Can you go to Egypt to buy some donkeys back? Yes. But you just cannot go to Egypt to buy horses. How is this so spiritual? Let me tell you, the horse is a very interesting animal.

The Bible specifically mentions horse. Why did I specifically study the word horse? I have studied it for a long time, and many people still think that I am wrong. Why does God in the Bible hate the Israelites going back to Egypt to multiply horses? It turns out that the horse is a very spiritual thing.

Horses look very handsome among animals, right? We often say the spirit of the dragon and the horse. We Chinese have a very unique understanding of horses and dragons. I do not understand the Western cultural circle's view of horses. If you have an understanding of English and Western culture, do you know what special discussions they have about horses? We have a lot of knowledge about horses. For example, when we drive, we say that this car has how many horsepower? It has two hundred horsepower, and there are also one thousand horsepower. Why not say two hundred donkey power or two hundred cow power? Cow power is also very good, but we say horsepower, which is very interesting.

Once, when I was casting out demons, the demon called himself Old Horse, which made me confused. I had not read this name in the Bible, but later I found relevant records and also found some descriptions about horses in Journey to the West. The earth is a horse, and the sea is a dragon. Dragon and horse are the same thing, right?

So why did the Israelites go to Egypt to multiply horses? Because Egyptian horses are good. If you become a king, are you relying on the power of horses to win, or are you relying on God to win? If you rely on the power of horses to win, and you are God's people, can you rely on the power of horses to win? Who committed this problem later? Solomon. Solomon got a lot of Egyptian horses, and later Solomon also lived in a curse.

Solomon must have read this, and after reading it, he felt: Is there such a thing? Why can’t I do it? Ah, you all misunderstood, it is not that meaning, it is not that meaning, there is no problem with buying horses. People are like this. Now, Christians read the New Testament Bible, and when they read the words of Jesus Christ, they all feel: Is there such a thing? Is it not that meaning, it is that meaning. Have you ever heard these words? We often hear it.

So you must not add anything to or subtract anything from the words of the gospel. If you add anything, God will curse you. If you subtract anything, God will blot out your share from the book of life. Do you think it is a matter of life and death? You must not go back to Egypt to add horses to yourself. Why? Because people want to strengthen their army. Do not think that if you train people to fight and then win, it is because of the people you trained winning. No.

You can train, why? You can do this job seriously, but you cannot rely on this. Do not rely on horses, and do not rely on the army. Why did this happen? People read God's words and forget them in the blink of an eye, because when they see the problems in reality, they think of the worldly set of things.

So did David not know these words? He knew. Did David copy a book of the law and put it in his house to read? Yes. Did David read this passage after reading it? Yes. Then, David counted the Israelites and counted how many soldiers. He declared to the whole world: We Israelites have the most powerful army! Bad, God let 70,000 people die in his army. So if you do not fear God, you will slip into the curse.

So why can't you go to Egypt to buy horses? Let me tell you again, why do people go to Egypt to buy horses? Because people want to rely on the power of horses to win. Right? So the Bible says in other chapters that you cannot rely on chariots, and you cannot rely on horses, to rely on the Spirit of God to accomplish things. Some rely on chariots, some rely on horses, but we rely on the name of the Lord our God.

Six, Do Not Accumulate Wives

I ask you, does God hate horses? God does not like horses. Does God hate people relying on horses? God hates it. Does God hate people having many concubines? God hates it. But God also knows that once a person is made king, he is in charge of the whole place, and he has the final say in this place. As a result, when he looks up, he sees a beautiful girl and brings her in. It is human nature. If he is the king, as long as he makes a wink, people will bring her in for him. He doesn't even need to speak. I tell you, those who serve around the king, whether they are officials or eunuchs, are very clear about it.

Those girls, oh, they dream of marrying David every day. David is the dream lover of many girls. He is really a dream lover. Among us, there are also those who think David is old and handsome. As a result, what happened? God does not like this. Why? Because after having many concubines, what will happen to people? People will indulge in the things of the flesh.

Everyone should know that whether you are married or unmarried, the issue of sex is always a matter of the flesh. The Bible does not encourage us to indulge in lust, but encourages us to read God's word all our lives. So I tell you, people easily rush forward along their own desires. What is human fleshly desire like? Like a wild horse that has broken free. Even a wild donkey cannot beat you when you are ruled by desires. Desire is very corrupting and God does not like it.

Some time ago, someone studied the 003 course. He mentioned a sentence in it: Rachel took her father’s idols, and as a result, Rachel died in childbirth. Before this, Jacob’s daughter was raped, and later Jacob discarded the things devoted to destruction from his house. Someone asked: Then why can't God protect Jacob? It is not that God cannot protect him, but because God hates things devoted to destruction. Everyone should know that God does not like people having things devoted to destruction! If people have things devoted to destruction, they become things devoted to destruction in God's eyes. You know how hateful the things that God abominates are. They hinder people from being blessed, so you must read God's word all your life and know what God hates.

Seven, Reading God’s Words All Our Lives

So when a king is chosen, he must copy a book of the law for the king and let him read it often: do not go back to Egypt to buy horses, do not have too many wives, read God's Words all of your life. Can those with so many concubines and wives can read? They will fall asleep while reading, right? You got to bed so late last night, how can you have the energy to read God's words the next day? You don’t even have the energy to have meetings with your ministers.

Why read God's word? To know what kind of people God likes and what kind of people God hates; to know what kind of things God likes and what kind of things God hates. So we must learn to fear God, so that our days on earth may be long. So how important it is to study God's word! I tell you, if you do not read God's word for a week, you will soon forget it. Then the influence of this world is simply piercing people's bones.

When housing prices rise, you also rush to grab a house; when housing prices fall, you find yourself trapped. Right? It’s all like this. Because when prices rise, your head gets confused. Why? Seeing that this one bought it, that one bought it, you feel like why didn’t I buy it? As a result, you get stuck after you buy it. So people must read God's word all their lives. People do not live by wealth, not by food, not by wives and concubines, not by lust, not by armies, not by horses, and not by lawsuits. People do not live by worshiping idols, or by leaving a few good cattle and sheep. People live by every word that comes from the mouth of God!

Now, when children take the college entrance examination, they confuse their parents; when children go to school, they confuse their parents. Is it true? Yes. Parents feel that they cannot but give their children a bright future. But I tell you, the child’s bright future is with God. If a person knows to fear God in his life, knows to learn to fear God, and observes this world well, you are blessed, and you will lack nothing in this life.

“And it shall be with him, and he shall read in it all the days of his life, that he may learn to fear the Lord his God and keep all the words of this law and these statutes, and do them, that his heart may not be lifted up above his brethren, and that he may not turn aside from the commandment, either to the right hand or to the left, so that he may continue long in his kingdom, he and his children, in the midst of Israel.” (Deuteronomy 17:19-20)

From now on, let ourselves have a long life on earth. Amen! Know that your future is not in your children, your children's future is not in you, your future is not in your husband, your husband's future is not in you, your future is in God.

May God bless everyone!
