I. Introduction

Good day to everyone! Today, I will be speaking on the topic, Be Careful, Do Not Be Ignorant and Blind. Why would a person be ignorant and blind? It is closely related to things in the spiritual realm. If a person is ignorant and blind, he will suffer a great deal. Therefore, today I want to tell you that ignorance is the root of life's tragedies. You say, I just cannot learn. Then you deserve it. It's not that you cannot learn, but that you do not want to learn properly. The words are all there in black and white. That is why people keep getting scammed, one after another, without end. Will the scammers disappear? No, they will never disappear. Scammers will always have a market. Why? Because there will always be a group of ignorant people.

Are there many ignorant people? Yes, there are! How many people did P2P scam? When P2P was around, I said, Don't get involved. He said, No, I have to get involved. Those are all opportunities to make money. Later, I said, Stop it. Quickly withdraw your money. He said, I won't withdraw. It can still go up. What was the result? I doubt he can get back even a dime. Why did that person become like that? It was because of ignorance. Because a person is ignorant, it leads to a series of foolish reactions. Later, I said, Since that is the case, then so be it. What happened? He went back to square one. You say that someone toils their entire life; how many times can you afford to be cheated? If a person is cheated once in their life, they go back to square one; if a person is cheated twice in their life, they go back to before creation, which is emptiness and chaos. It is obvious that they are scammers, but many people still believe. I am very surprised; I cannot stop them. Many people have their entire savings cleaned out.

You know about the Myanmar fraud groups recently, right? People are rushing there in droves. No one is holding a gun or knife to force them to go. They are going by train and plane, dreaming of becoming rich in the future. What happens when they get there? Either their liver is gone, or their kidney is gone. They become rabbits or stray dogs to be slaughtered. Everyone must understand that those who deceive people are ignorant, and their end is very tragic. You must know that recently a very tragic thing happened in Myanmar. Those who were deceiving people, all in estates, had an incident. If you do that, one day you will stir up trouble. Those who deceive people are very miserable and ignorant, and those who are deceived are even more ignorant; it’s really deadly!

Growing up, I felt that a person should be smart. I tried everything to be smart. Later, I studied hard. In our era, if you were good at math, physics, and chemistry, you could go anywhere! Luckily, it wouldn't take you to Myanmar. Later, after I became a pastor, I observed people. I observed that this person was a fool and that person was a fool. Eventually, I invented a term called silly. So, if a person does not love to learn from childhood, they will definitely become foolish. If they do not love to learn, what will happen? They will become ignorant because they have no knowledge; they do not know.

There was a child who did not like to study from a young age. When he graduated from elementary school, he had very bad grades. Later, I trained him, but that root of ignorance did not change. Now, I don't know where he went. He might be in Myanmar. If you don't like to study, and you want to learn everything at once, you are finished. If you want to earn money at once, you will definitely be scammed. That is not the case. So, if we want to be smart, we must be grounded. Anyone who wants to do things at once is finished; they will definitely be scammed.

Some people ask me, Teacher, why am I like this now? I said, You were like this when you were young. You didn't study when you were young, so you are ignorant now. If you don't study now, you will be ignorant in the future. Sometimes I teach people to have a plan when doing things. He says, Teacher, I just don't know how to write a plan. When I heard this, I felt something was strange. I said, You haven't had a plan since you were young, and you've lived until you're dozens of years old. How could you have a plan? If you haven't had a plan since you were young, you won't know how to write a plan. If a person has no plan, they follow their feelings, which is ignorance, isn't it?

Therefore, if a person is lazy, there will be many problems. I think the next time I preach, I might bring back the word laziness to ponder over it again. Laziness is deadly. People don't even know they're lazy. If they are lazy in one area, they will be scammed in that area. If they are lazy in another area, they will be scammed in another area. So recently, I wanted to lead people to work. Think about it, if you can't draw a picture well, and you haven't even drawn it, but you smash things. I asked him to draw a picture, but it was a mess. The picture was nonsense, so he smashed things and continued with the nonsense.

In my vocabulary, there are a few things: nonsense, doing nonsense! Can nonsense and doing nonsense produce good results? It is impossible to have good results. The reason is simple: if you draw on paper, you can erase it with an eraser; but if you build a wall, that wall weighs half a ton, how are you going to move it after you smash it? Just because it’s not on the picture doesn’t mean it’s there when you do it. Some people say, I don't want to draw a picture; I just want to do it directly. That’s silly. If you can't draw a picture well, how can you do the work well? If you can't even draw a picture well, forget about the work! If you can't draw a wall well, you can erase it with an eraser. But if you can't build a wall well, what are you going to do? That's really troublesome!

So, people who are scammed all think: I don't know how to do it; I don't know how to handle it. I'll just do it quickly. There was someone who was scammed and owed a lot of money. I often said, See, weren't you scammed? He said, What? Are you not done yet? Why do you keep bringing it up! I said, Can't I say it? Is it wrong to talk about it? Because you haven't changed. I can’t even say it; as soon as I say it, I hit a sore spot. We all have this problem. People are ignorant and won’t allow others to say they are ignorant. As soon as you say something, their reaction is, What? Are you not done yet? I said, Summarize your ignorance and foolishness over the past ten or several decades. You need to know what's going on with yourself. If you don't summarize, you’ll walk right back into it. So, isn't not learning harmful?

Among us, there was a member who made friends specifically with scammers. Scammers were all his good friends. I didn’t want anything from him, but he felt like I wanted to harm him. Do I really need him to believe in the Lord? Not really. He specifically made friends with scammers. He’s almost sixty now and has nothing. He was scammed out of hundreds of thousands by this person and tens of thousands by that person. How many hundreds of thousands or tens of thousands can a person have in their life? I tell you, when people are ignorant, they become stubborn and very convinced of their own ways. You can’t say anything, can’t touch it. It’s really deadly!

A few years ago, there was a brother who lent money to a person who was a rogue. Do you think a rogue is deadly? A rogue is also deadly. As a result, the rogue's wife was paralyzed in bed. His family was doing business, and the business was about to collapse. So, he came to me through our brother because this brother was his friend. As soon as I met him, I thought, Isn't this a rogue? Our brother even lent him money. That's like throwing a meat bun to a dog; it's gone forever. But after I prayed and ministered, his wife got up from the bed. Later, she got better and could climb mountains. He experienced such a great miracle. I said, You must believe in the Lord. As a result, he donated five hundred dollars and then disappeared.

During that time, he said to me, I want to sell this factory. I said, How long can you hold on if you don't sell it? He said, Maybe another month. I said, Then don't sell it; hold on for another month. As a result, in less than half a month, someone bought half of his factory, and the factory was revitalized. After a while, the business picked up, and the factory came back to life. I ask you, how much grace did God give him? His wife rose from paralysis; that was a life-saving grace, right? His business turned around from the brink of bankruptcy; how great is that grace? As a result, he donated five hundred dollars and then disappeared. It's really foolish; such a great miracle could not change his foolish heart. When people are foolish, they don't know it's a treasure. When people are ignorant, they are convinced of their own ways. If you lend money to such people, can you get it back? God gave him so much grace, and he couldn't even pay that back. What can you get back? You can’t get anything back.

Therefore, getting sick is due to ignorance, not knowing spiritual laws. Some time ago, a sister came to me. She had come to me a long time ago because she had a pulled muscle in her back. Later, I prayed for her, and she got better. Recently, it was pulled again, and her leg was also pulled. Why? Because they do not know spiritual laws, and believing what they believe is useless. If we are taking an exam and write a character that we believe is correct, a character we invented, it is a misspelling. If we are living and make up a set of rules for ourselves, that is a set of nonsense rules. So, what does a person invent in their life? They invent nothing. They just need to learn from others. If they can learn from others, then they will have learned well.

Later, I often taught people to read the Book of Ecclesiastes. Listening to my exegesis of Ecclesiastes is very good because many problems are solved. Why? Because it tells you the knowledge of how to live. What should a person do if they have no knowledge? Think about it, many people drive without a license and are caught by the police. Don't they have to go to jail? Many people are living without a license. Chinese Mingding Destiny is issuing licenses for people to live. You have to start with the 101 course, then study Genesis, then study Ecclesiastes. Learn slowly; when you have knowledge, you will have a license to live. Don't live without a license. Without a license, how can you live life? You have to have a license.

Learning is the most important thing in a person's life. So, when you come to Chinese Mingding Destiny, you will find that you are very busy. Why? You have to make up for what you didn't learn in the past years, the years you were lazy. So, the most important thing in a person's life is learning, learning the rules that others have already discovered, learning the rules that God has already revealed to us, knowing how demons operate and how lies operate. Then, how can you be scammed again? You can't be scammed anymore.

Like Guangzhou Railway Station, have you all been there? There are so many people there; there are many thieves and scammers. They are there looking around. Their eyes look at this one: There's a crazy person, and then they follow him. I tell you, ignorance will be written on your face. Scammers specialize in studying this. They follow people who look like this, and they will definitely succeed in scamming them. As for people who look like that, forget it. When I walk out of Guangzhou Railway Station, scammers look at me and say, Don't mess with him. We might get scammed by him. So, people cannot be ignorant. Getting sick is ignorance, having low emotional intelligence is ignorance, and not seeing through life is ignorance.

When my brothers and sisters and I were kids, we played cards. When I saw that my little brother's card skills were not very good, I let him win. Whatever card he wanted, I would play that card. Then, when he saw that I was helping him, he turned around and said to me, I don't need you to help me. So, I didn't help him. If I didn't help him, he couldn't win. If he couldn't win, his temper would flare up. Then my sister made a face at him, and he said, What are you laughing at? He slammed the cards down and said, I'm not playing anymore! What does that mean? He's out of moves. You have to have moves. If you want to have moves, you have to learn. You have to know how to handle things. His emotional intelligence was not high, but now that he is older, his emotional intelligence is slowly rising. Why? After spending so many years learning, he must have learned something. He was in a state of ignorance when he was young.

Today we are talking about, Be Careful, Do Not Be Ignorant and Blind. Ignorance and blindness are said together. Who said it? Jesus said it. Ignorance is when the eyes cannot see. If your eyes cannot see, you will definitely be scammed. So, the topic we are talking about today is very good, but I think I am not well prepared enough. Please forgive me a little.

II. Scripture

Woe to you, blind guides! You say, ‘If anyone swears by the temple, it means nothing; but if anyone swears by the gold of the temple, he is bound by his oath.’ You blind fools! Which is greater: the gold, or the temple that makes the gold sacred? You also say, ‘If anyone swears by the altar, it means nothing; but if anyone swears by the gift on the altar, he is bound by his oath.’ You blind men! Which is greater: the gift, or the altar that makes the gift sacred? Therefore, he who swears by the altar swears by it and by all things on it. He who swears by the temple swears by it and by Him who dwells in it. And he who swears by heaven swears by God’s throne and by Him who sits on it. (Matthew 23:16-22)

III. Prayer

God, save us from this ignorant and blind state. God, help us today, open our minds, let us truly know You, truly know You. God, let our faith not be so dull, let us know what hope there is in Your sworn truth in our eternity. God, lead us today to escape ignorance and folly, lead us to escape this ignorant and blind state. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen!

IV. Scripture Background

The background of this passage is very interesting. If you read the Gospel of Matthew, you will find when you read chapter 23 that Matthew is talking about two value systems and two kingdoms. If you look at my exegesis of Matthew, from the first chapter to the last chapter, you will find that I am constantly talking about a theme brought up in Matthew: two kingdoms, two value systems. The Gospel of Matthew speaks of chapter 23, and you will find that people are naturally living in a worldly value system. People are naturally living in a worldly value system, and people will value these worldly things. Seeing these worldly things, they become blind and cannot see spiritual things. If you cannot see spiritual things, many problems become very strange.

One thing that confused me very much was that the Pharisees and scribes read the Bible every day and taught others to study the Bible every day, and then they became ignorant and blind. When I was young, when I had just believed in the Lord, when I read this passage in Matthew, I felt very strange, that the scribes and Pharisees became ignorant and blind. They read the Bible every day, so how did they become ignorant and blind? Some people are very enthusiastic and send the Bible all day long. They think that after sending the Bible out, people will read it and what will happen. I tell you, nothing much. What can happen? It can become half-baked. A person reads the Bible with a worldly logical system, and after reading it, they are confused. They are still ignorant and blind because they cannot understand or see.

The scribes and Pharisees are very interesting. They think, I do this job; I have to teach you to study the Bible, but I don't believe the Bible. How can you do this job? Actually, I tell you, this generation is full of many similar situations, doing this job but not believing in doing it this way, not believing in this theory. Isn't this troublesome? The Pharisees taught them the Bible, and Jesus said, You must listen to what they teach you. But they can say but not do. Isn't this ruined? Jesus said, Don't be an ignorant and foolish person, building a house on the sand. This passage is actually constantly repeated in our 101 courses. Why? You can't do it, you can only say it, so what are you doing?

You say, This makes money, do you want to do it? I said, I don't do it. Someone said to me, Teacher, do you have a million? I said, Yes. He said, Then give me a million, and I will give you three million at the end of the year. When I heard this, it was like a scammer. He is even more powerful than Buffett. Isn't he a scammer? If he could give me three million at the end of the year, he would have been famous long ago. I examine these things, so I know. Then you borrow a million from the bank yourself, and then take three million at the end of the year, and then pay back the bank one million. You still have two million in your hand. It's much more cost-effective to borrow high-interest loans. High-interest loans give you 20 to 30 percent interest a year, and the rest is yours. What kind of brain is that?

I have been pondering, how did these Pharisees become ignorant and blind? They read the Bible every day, yet I do not quite believe in merely reading the Bible. I believe in understanding the Bible and then putting it into practice. Someone might say, I am an aerospace engineer; I know how to build airplanes. Airplanes should be built this way. I would ask, Have you built one? If they say, No, can you trust them? No, one must put it into practice. Later, I found this matter very interesting. These people have a very obvious phenomenon called confusion. To what extent is it confused? They strain out a gnat but swallow a camel, accepting things that are obviously wrong and being unable to accept small flaws.

The way I speak is rather coarse, which some people cannot accept, but this is my lifestyle, and I do not want to change it. Some people say, Look at you, a pastor, how can you always call people silly? But if I cannot find another word to describe this situation, what word should I use? I really cannot find one, so I might as well use silly. Some people say, Look at other pastors; they speak so eloquently, but you speak so coarsely. It is a very apt description of a situation. They nitpick the word silly that I use.

Those traditional theological systems are really not working. Do not think that Christianity has been in this world for two thousand years. In these two thousand years, a truly complete belief system is actually rare. Confusion! To what extent is it confused? They confuse themselves. A believer comes to them and asks, Teacher, why does it not work when I swear by the temple or pray by the temple? He says, You cannot swear by the temple; you must swear by the gold in the temple. The first time he tells someone this, he feels so good when he gets home, feeling that his answer was simply magical. Later, the person says, Teacher, why does it not work when I swear by the gold in the temple? He says, You must swear by the gold in that particular part of the temple for it to work.

Have you all noticed that they are deceiving themselves as they speak? It is just瞎 explanation. Do you find this situation in our church today? Many people say, Pastor, why does my prayer not work when I am sick? The pastor says, Ah, you should point to this when you pray, you should pray like this. There are all kinds of explanations in their minds, speaking nonsense. To what extent do they speak nonsense? The patient is in great pain, and then the pastor says that this is God's blessing to them. Do not even mention cancer; I just caught a small cold, and my whole body ached terribly. Every time I coughed, my chest stuck to my back, it was so painful, so annoying! Then a pastor came and said, This is God's blessing to you. I said, Get out of here, God's blessing to me? I am cursed!

Sometimes I drive to pick up some people, and someone asks me, Pastor, how come you still have this illness? I said, Do you think I am a saint? Wrong, I am a sinner, and this is clear evidence of my sin. As a result, he had nothing to say. People speak nonsense, deceiving themselves. There are many people who speak nonsense in the church environment. I laid hands on someone to pray for them, and as a result, one of my arms could not be lifted. Do you know how that pastor explained it? He said, You cannot lay hands to pray; when you lay hands on him, the demon in him will run into you. I said, Oh dear, how many demons would run into me when I take the public bus? That is not laying hands; that is laying bodies, people next to each other, squeezed together like photos.

I was pondering, what kind of logic is this? They really believe this. These blind and ignorant people, what is greater? Is it the gold, or is it the temple that sanctifies the gold? They cannot even figure out the size of things, confusing themselves. These Pharisees and scribes do not even learn well themselves, and then they speak nonsense. Then they say, Whoever swears by the altar, it is nothing; but whoever swears by the gift that is on the altar, he is bound by his oath. Have you all heard this kind of preaching? I tell you, there is a lot of this kind of preaching. All this is called speculation.

In fact, in this last passage, Jesus is talking about His disciples, telling them to be careful about this. Jesus said, You must be careful of the blind and ignorant people, and you must also be careful not to be blind and ignorant people! Why? Jesus was watching a group of ignorant disciples like it was a joke. The twelve disciples were fighting over who would sit on Jesus’s right side. Everyone was vying for this. What were they vying for? Everyone wanted to compete for who was the greatest because the right prime minister was greater than the left prime minister. As a result, Jesus said:

> The greatest among you will be your servant. For those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted. (Matthew 23:11-12)

These people are confused when they look at problems with the logical system of the world. The scribes and Pharisees of Israel, reading the Bible with the logical system of the world, cannot even understand the Old Testament, so they are confused. After they are confused, they make things up. Swearing by the altar, swearing by the gifts on the altar, they create these very boring things, making people dizzy, and in the end, they themselves are also dizzy. As a result, Jesus brought up the matter of hypocrisy and blindness. Jesus said: You cannot be ignorant and blind people; you must be careful.

The ignorant and blind ultimately focus on face, not substance, all superficial things. What does an ignorant and blind person focus on? They focus on being seen, showing off in front of people; the ignorant and blind focus on sitting in high places, being served, not serving people. Is this a matter of life and death? So Jesus said:

> “Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you were not willing. Look, your house is left to you desolate. For I tell you, you will not see me again until you say, ‘Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.’” (Matthew 23:37-39)

It went back to before creation. The Israelites, the Jewish people, worship our God in the temple, but they nailed Jesus Christ to the cross. Do you think this is smart? They cannot distinguish at all. As long as you have a little brain, you would not do this. It is truly utterly silly. What history shows us is that ignorance and blindness ultimately leave all desolate. Whether you read Chinese history or the history of any country, you will find that what people ultimately leave behind is desolate. How did the Qin Dynasty perish? That the Qin Dynasty was able to use the strength of one country to destroy the six countries and unify the Central Plains was a great achievement in the history of the Chinese nation! But before the second Qin emperor, the country was destroyed.

How far a person's vision sees depends on the framework of the knowledge system. Jesus is talking about ignorance and blindness. To what extent are they blind? They nailed Jesus to the cross. What nailed Jesus to the cross? It is all the logical system of the world. How much of the logical system of the world do we Christians carry today? It is a lot, not a little bit. Today, we must continue to remove this logical system of the world. This thing kills people. I think ignorance will perish. God said: My people perish for lack of knowledge!

Is it not destruction when people are ignorant? If people are a little smart, have a little knowledge, they will know that Jesus Christ is the Messiah. Who in history has raised people from the dead like Jesus? Who in history has made the blind see? Who in history has made the lame walk? Not many. The miracles that Jesus performed are unprecedented and unmatched. If you think about it, you will know. Did those Pharisees know? They knew. Knowing this, why did they not say, Who is this person? But they said that Jesus was the prince of demons. Can the prince of demons do this? When people are ignorant, their homes become desolate.

What is Jesus doing when He speaks these words? He is speaking to us. There is a sentence here: What is great? What do you all say is great? I tell you, a person who cannot distinguish between big and small, cannot distinguish between primary and secondary, is called ignorant. When I often communicate with our brothers and sisters, I find that I am talking about one thing, and they divert me to another thing. I have to work hard to pull them back. How can I communicate? There is no way to communicate. They cannot distinguish between primary and secondary. What is big? What is small?

They swallow camels but strain out gnats. People do not know which end is big and which end is small, so people become confused. Jesus really does not want our homes to become desolate. If we also cannot distinguish between big and small, cannot distinguish between primary and secondary, will it not become desolate?

## V. Symptoms of Ignorance and Blindness: Able to Speak but Unable to Act

There are many people who are able to speak but unable to act. There are several interesting industries in the world, one of which is called teachers. I have looked down on the teaching profession. Why? Many teachers are able to speak but unable to act. How many top programmers go to schools to teach programming? What kind of people are teaching programming in schools? People who are able to speak. The teaching profession is actually a tragedy. Why is this so? Because this world has a very strange concept called professional people doing professional things. As a result, after becoming a teacher, they become professional speakers, able to speak but unable to act.

Let us talk about middle school teachers. One of our brothers has a father who is a middle school teacher, engaged in academics, and teaches mathematics very well. As a result, this brother of ours talked to his father about artificial intelligence when he got home, but he had no interest; talked about education, but he had no interest. One day, this brother of ours fixed the curtain track in his house, and then his father said, My son is really amazing! His father was very excited. Why? Because his father could not do it. He changed the light bulb, and his father said, My son is really amazing! You see, he is able to speak but unable to act in these daily life activities. Someone typed, We have a high school physics teacher in our school. When a light bulb is broken, he has to ask an electrician to install it. If it were a language teacher, I would not blame you. Language teachers are able to speak and able to write, and they can even write a novel.

Therefore, the first symptom of ignorant and blind people is being able to speak but unable to act. Chinese Mingding Destiny has a set of theories. What is this set of theories? It only counts if you do it. If people cannot do it, they are doomed. I often encounter this kind of ignorant and blind situation. Someone said to me: Teachers, speaking in tongues when praying is like this. I said: Do you have have the practice of speaking in tongues when praying? He said: I don't . I said: How do you know? He said: I read it from a books. You say this is talk nonsense. He said to me: Teacher, you should be a pastor like this.

He knocked on the door and came into my office, and I said, Please sit down quickly. What's the matter? I thought that the matter of wanting to jump off the building some time ago had not been resolved, and he wanted to jump off the building again. No, this time he is not jumping. He still wanted to wanted last time, and he is teaching me how to be a pastor during this time. Amazing! Able to speak but unable to act. I said: Have you been a pastor? He said: Not yet . I said: Why are you saying this? He said: I read it from a books. I said: Ah, I read from a books, Never practice? Then why are you compare with me? Please leave!

## VI. The Second Symptom of Ignorance and Blindness: Doing Things to Be Seen

Are you all thinking that there is this problem? If you have this symptom, you must change it. If you do not change it, you are doomed. People do things to be seen. When he does something, it is not to gain something for himself, to grow himself. After he does something, he asks me: Look at myself, how well I done? I said. I see what he done! I don't like to see what other done, what you've done, and when you done then what you gained. You have to know that Chinese Mingding Destiny has made a very great discovery, and this great discovery is called doing work is grace. This is not brainwashing; this is the creation of man by God setting rules.

If you think that you are doing a great contribution and come here to compare yourself, but I do not appreciate it, then if I do not appreciate it, you will get hurt. After you do something, people do not see it, do not appreciate it, and then you hurt yourself. You are doing everything backwards! Therefore, our brothers and sisters must know that doing things is not to be seen, but doing things to make things happen and let allowing work itself to become the grace of our life. If you have nothing to do today, you will say, How can I live this life? If you have many things to do, then thank God!

Why are people ignorant and blind? Because he does not know what God's plan is, and he does not know that God's plan is for people to doing things is grace. Jesus told a parable: A person goes in to do work in the morning and takes one denarius in the evening; another person goes in to do work in the evening, works for one hour, and takes one denarius when he comes out. Then the person who went in the morning does not want to do it and asks the master: Why does he take one denarius and I also take one denarius? Because that one denarius is not the point, going in to do work is grace, so it is very enjoyable. Therefore, ignorant and blind people do things to be seen. People do not see it, and they secretly feel sad. I cleaned the room, and someone came back and asked: What did you see? Answer: Nothing. Then you are hurt. After doing the work, people did not see it, and you felt sad yourself. you only did that work once? Why are people like that? I have not felt bad even after working for my whole life so far!

Do you all know? I often do these things. After I finish doing them, the boss does not see them. That is once, so if I do it ten times, he must see it. When I do things, I am not trying to be seen. I do not want to be seen, but people have to see it. When I was young, in my twenties, my family could not afford a computer, so I moved the computer from the office to my home. I carried it with a hemp rope, wishing I could get a shoulder pole, with the monitor in the front and the big iron box in the back. My boss saw me carrying a big iron box at eight o'clock in the evening, and he said: What are you doing? I said: I have not finished my work. I have to take it home to do. The ignorant people will not resolve work issues, they need to put on a show! Like making the sleeves super long so people can see that scripture is not in their minds but it stuck at their wrist so others can see it. Looks like a mental issue for carrying random scriptures on your body!. Its better you carry newspaper!

Ignorance = they can only talk big but no do. They only do things to show off, not to the resolve problems for God.

## Seven. Symptom Three of Ignorant Blindness: Fondness for High Positions

People in our generation are quite interesting. When looking at photos, they always check who is in the C position. If someone isn't in the C position, they'll say, Why isn't he in the 'C' position? Everyone is scrambling for the C position. I don't even know what C position means. I often squeeze myself into the back corners. It's amusing; they like to sit in high positions. These Pharisees were such people. They enjoy being called teacher. I don't have much choice; people call me teacher, and I have to accept it. But teacher isn't really a good word. I don't really like the term teacher. If people call me that, then so be it. But I feel that those who can talk but not act are teachers, like the Pharisees.

They like to sit in high positions, not out of a love for responsibility, but a love for the position itself. I ask you, if someone loves the position but not the work, doesn't like the responsibility, doesn't like the service, and only likes the title, what is he after? Later, I discovered that many people want to take the civil service exam. I asked, Why do you want to take the civil service exam? They said, It's a guaranteed income regardless of drought or flood. They only care about the guaranteed income, with no concept of service. Hence, the government has to invent a management mechanism to manage this group of civil servants because they all come for the guaranteed income, not with the intention to serve. Is it easy to be a civil servant now? It's not easy. Why? Because they have to provide service. If your service is not up to par, the city will deteriorate, and it will be ruined.

So, why do people want to sit in high positions? They want to be corrupt. Everyone wants to be an official. Why? Because it's good for corruption. I ask you, how many people who want to be officials, to hold high positions, want to serve, want to serve the people? Very few, indeed. So, there are a few, and after they die, people write a eulogy for them: Like a silkworm until death spins silk, like a candle burning to ashes shedding tears. Therefore:

> The greatest among you shall be your servant. Whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted. (Matthew 23:11-12)

Do you see that? We must know that this is ignorance and blindness. We just like to be honored, like to be praised, sit in high positions, and then issue commands, not pursuing a responsibility. Today, our brothers and sisters must listen, especially our pastors and co-workers. Standing in that position is a responsibility, a service. This is Chinese Mingding Destiny, not sitting in a high position and feeling glorious. That's a death sentence! We must no longer be ignorant people.

## Eight. Symptom Four of Ignorant Blindness: Emphasizing the External, Neglecting the Internal

> Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You are like whitewashed tombs, which look beautiful on the outside but on the inside are full of the bones of the dead and everything unclean. (Matthew 23:27)

The outside looks like a decorated tomb, but the inside is full of dead people's bones. I ask you, can this person feel good inside? You must know that the most important thing in a person's life is the feeling inside. If you have no substance inside, and yet people honor you; if you don't have the knowledge to solve people's problems, and yet you try to put on a show, how long can you sustain it? Aren't you working hard and struggling? If you have that energy, quickly cultivate what’s inside, and get it right. That is why I insist on pushing our pastors and co-workers to grow, and I insist on pushing our pastors and co-workers to push the sheep they pastor to keep growing.

You must have something inside. If you don't have something inside, and then someone throws you a look or says something to you, won't you feel bad? Of course, you'll feel bad. And then you use obedience to oppress people. Is that okay? Obedience cannot suppress people; admiration is what solves problems. Emphasizing the external and neglecting the internal makes one a blind and ignorant person. Today, we turn it around. We emphasize what is inside us. Inner joy is an internal matter; inner happiness is an internal matter; inner satisfaction is an internal matter. When a person has knowledge and talent inside and uses it to solve problems, that person will naturally become a joyful person.

Today, let's put it this way: what are you carrying inside? Sometimes, when I browse videos, I see some people wearing jeans and tight clothes, and they have very good figures. What do I see? I see a belly full of diarrhea. I often say, Wearing high heels, walking clack-clack, and inside there’s a belly full of diarrhea! People only focus on the outside, and the inside is nothing. If someone marries a vase, isn't that a disaster? Once a person goes down this path, it's all over. Able to talk but not act, doing things to be seen, fondness for high positions, focusing on the external but neglecting the internal – these are all symptoms of ignorance and blindness.

I have a knack for evaluating things. Some people say, Look, I've done this, I've done that. I say, You've done a lot, but what problems have you solved? Then they say, I solved this problem. I say, How did you solve it? They say, I solved it this way. If they can explain it clearly, then they have solved the problem. If they can't explain it clearly, then that's troublesome! It's just focusing on the outside, acting like they're working, but actually not doing anything.

One day, we came back from the supermarket, and I said, Hurry up and help him lug it. As a result, they brought over a big bag which felt very light, and it was full of toilet paper. I said, Why did you have to act like it was so heavy? He said, Teacher, I often do this at work, it works well. I said, Then you can continue doing that at work, but don't do it in front of me. Things got mixed up. They got used to putting on a show. That's just an external appearance. After doing it for a while, sometimes they even fool themselves. That's a tragedy; they become ignorant and blind people. Today, let's readjust and refocus your eyes on cultivating whether you truly know the knowledge of God inside, whether you know the truth of God, and whether you have the brushes. If you have realized this, you will certainly be able to produce the results that God has ordained you to produce.

## Nine. Symptom Five of Ignorant Blindness: Focusing on Small Things, Neglecting Big Things

> Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You give a tenth of your spices—mint, dill and cumin. But you have neglected the more important matters of the law—justice, mercy and faithfulness. You should have practiced the latter, without neglecting the former. You blind guides! You strain out a gnat but swallow a camel. (Matthew 23:23-24)

This is about not distinguishing between the big and small, not being able to tell which is more important and which is less important. If you associate with me for a long time, you will find that my brain, I don't know if it's natural or learned, can clearly distinguish which is big and which is small. If I'm not sure sometimes, I will clarify it. Don't think that everything is clear with a snap of the fingers; they are all clarified little by little. You will find that Chinese Mingding Destiny has established a system that clearly defines which truths are big and which are small. We explain the most important truths, such as faith, church, and pastoring, very clearly, and have established a framework.

What is a system? A system is like a house. This house has a foundation, beams, columns, load-bearing walls, and shear walls, as well as other non-load-bearing walls, water, electricity, etc., all forming a system. Which things can be touched and which things cannot be touched? If you smash the load-bearing wall, you will have problems; if you smash the column, that's a death sentence; if you dig up the foundation, that's the end! Focusing on small things and not focusing on big things means taking those trivial things too seriously. If you talk to me about trivial matters, I will rebuke you. You must begin to sort things out from big to small.

I used to manage many projects, some worth millions, some worth tens of millions. When managing these projects, I invented something myself. Some people say, Don't you not invent things? I felt that there were problems with other people's systems, so I corrected them. If you want to do project management, please note down what I do: I don't use the traditional management methods. When managing a project, I would say, what is the biggest challenge? Can I solve it? What is the second biggest challenge? Can I solve it? What is the third biggest challenge? Can I solve it? What is a big challenge? It means that if this challenge cannot be solved, the project will collapse. These are called big challenges.

Whether it's doing renovation or software, I look at things from big to small. Some people look at things from small to big, and then they get confused because there are too many things. Looking at small details will definitely confuse you, so you must look at things from big to small. What is the biggest challenge? Can I solve it? If I can't solve it, then let’s not do it. What is the second biggest challenge? Can I solve it? Some people don't do it this way; they do the opposite. Whether you are a brother or a sister, if you look at things from small to big, you will be dizzy and confused. If you look at things from big to small, it will be much better, and you will not be confused.

## Ten. The Root of Ignorant Blindness

There was a sister who was a pastor's wife. She had more than twenty mouth ulcers, some as big as peanuts. When she opened her mouth, it was a white mass, scary! Even mouth ulcers the size of mung beans are painful. She had more than twenty in her mouth. Would you say that's life-threatening? She had rheumatism in her legs and couldn't bend them. She came to me for prayer at the same time as one of our sisters who had severe depression, who also prayed with me. During the break in prayer, this pastor’s wife shared with our depressed sister: Look, I can recite the entire book of Romans. You should also recite the book of Romans. I came back from outside and saw her teaching our sister how to recite the book of Romans, and said: Stop it, you have recited mouth ulcers yourself! What are you still reciting?

I ask you, is reciting this helpful? It’s not helpful. Have you noticed that some churches require everyone to memorize scriptures, but do they understand after memorizing them? They don't understand. Some people say, You'll understand after reciting them. I tell you, a child, especially girls, is sure to get high scores from elementary school to sixth grade with rote memorization, and can barely get scores even in high school using rote memorization. When entering university with this way of rote memorization, they will start to break down, and if they study for a doctorate, it will completely collapse, because that doesn’t work. So what works? Creating a complete system is what works.

If she has memorized the book of Romans, I really want to ask her what the book of Romans is about? She doesn't know that. So the problem lies in not understanding this. What is understanding fully? It means building the whole thing into a complete system. The system is: what is this about, what is that about, how is it going. Let me tell you something else, you can listen and understand if you understand that. If you don’t, you can remember that there is such a thing. First: the knowledge we learn is nothing more than concepts. Clarify each concept, what exactly is it? I just like to do this. Second: the relationship between concepts. Chinese Mingding Destiny is a systematic theology, not a fragmented theology.

What is a system? Is it an important concept or a secondary concept? For example, tithing, in our Chinese Mingding Destiny, tithing is a very unimportant concept but for many churches it is a very important concept. Why? Because it gets money. How is it the root of ignorant blindness? The problem is that it's not systematic. So how can it be systematic? To understand each concept, instead of having a vague awareness of it. Even today there are many pastors that cannot answer your questions if you ask them. They will say: Where do all these questions come from? I am not criticizing them, I am just describing the phenomenon. But our pastors must never say this. If someone asks a good question, it relates to the concept, the relationship between concepts, you need to explain it clearly. But if the other person uses the worldly system to compare with you, then forget about it.

Not having a system confuses oneself. That is the root of ignorance, so why can't we learn well? Not having a system. Some time ago, a young brother was taking the Certified Public Accountant exam, and he failed in both subjects which means he doesn't know how to study. Because he couldn’t distinguish between big and small, primary and secondary, and he couldn’t build a complete system, what he learned was confusing. If you learn something and can make a book thinner, this is a shallow explanation. If you make it thinner, it means that you have read it thoroughly, and you have fully understood it, and it has become systematic, and there are not many things left. If there are not many things, then you’ll pass the exam.

Exammaking is very interesting. Where all the exam scores that are over 85 points, but whether it’s 85 points or 90 points, there won’t be too much of a difference which shows that he truly understands and of course the exam questions are written clearly. Those who score in the 70-80 range show there are many things you only understand partially. Scores between 60 and 70 although you passed, you may have passed by guessing. The score if basically below 60 points there is basically no understanding. What I mean is, you must understand things. Our Chinese Mingding Destiny understands what the church is, and the definition is also very clear, because our definition comes from Jesus; we have clearly made pastoring understood in a basic framework. We can sort out the basic concepts of church, faith, the Holy Spirit, pastoring and the glory of God. If you ask me, I will tell you everything.

In the current conflict between Palestine and Israel, many people pray for Israel. What exactly are Israel, Zion, and Jerusalem? Many of the concepts are confused. Today I have to tell you that all the Jerusalems, Zions, and temples mentioned in the Old Testament refer to the church in the New Testament. Therefore, those looking for peace for Jerusalem cannot but benefit, and only those that build the church benefit. We speak clearly about building a church of God's glory, what things are foundations, and how to build a system. So the root of ignorant blindness lies in the problem of not having a system. Do you say they don’t know that or do they. They have memorized the Bible, but you say they know it and yet they seem to know it and seem not to know it, and they never pass their university entrance exams. What is the bottom of these problems mean? It's unbelief. The question is how can they clearly understand if they do not believe in the words of God? If those who do not believe in the Word of God can clearly understand, then faith will not be the same as the foundation.

## Eleven. Conclusion

Jesus said: You unbelieving generation! So slow, so ignorant, just because of unbelief. So today we come out of this unbelief, we must begin to believe in God, we do what kind of person God rewards, and what kind of person God likes, it is that simple. If you really do what God likes, I tell you, what will happen? God will really bless you. If a person does not understand, worldly learning is not understood, how can he understand God's learning? I feel deeply that today we will readjust our learning methods, learn to grasp the points, learn to build a system, and learn to sort these things out in our minds cleanly and clearly. If it is not clear, don't worry, one day it will be clear. Things cannot be good all at once which can only to being scammed.
