1) Today's Topic: Let Our Faith Rely Solely on God's Power!

Previously, I, along with the church leaders, summarised the 12 core values that God has given us for building the church. Over the past period, I have also summarised four points from my prayers and service:

• Demolish the works of the flesh
• Serve by the authority of God
• Be rooted in the Word of God, gaining enlightenment
• Solve real-life problems practically

Reviewing the concept I mentioned last week, to set the mind on the flesh is death. These are not my words. This is an extremely concise summary of the revelation and experience that Paul gained in building the church!

This Sunday, I will share with everyone – Let our faith rely solely on God's power!

On the road to God's power - fatigue, exhaustion, pregnancy reactions, motion sickness, heaviness in the body, menstrual pain, cancer, heart disease...

If a person comes into the world and says, I am God, incarnated, how can you know? If a person comes into the world, speaks a lot of great principles, speaks very well, and then says, this is the way to eternal life, do you want to believe it? If a person can memorise the Bible, even backwards, and his words are all quoting the Bible, do you want to believe it? If we believe in a lot of principles, if we believe in the letter, we cannot resist heresies and cults! Because what they say makes a lot of sense!

Not long ago, someone asked me, Pastor, how can we resist cults?

Let's look at today's scripture.

2) Today's Scripture: 1 Corinthians 2:4-5

2:4 My speech and my message were not in plausible words of wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, 2:5 so that your faith might not rest on human wisdom but on the power of God.

4) The Background of This Passage – The Corinthian Church Was Deceived by Eloquent Speakers!

• Paul's relationship with the Corinthian church
• After Paul left the Corinthian church, a group of people, eloquent speakers, deceivers, came to the Corinthian church
• The first thing they attacked was what Paul taught, quoting the Bible itself
• The Corinthian church began to fall into chaos
• Paul wrote three letters to the Corinthian church

In fact, the biggest problem people have is that they have a standard for judging right and wrong inside themselves. Everyone's standards are different. But everyone thinks they are right. They especially believe what they see, hear, and think. Today I am teaching everyone a lesson: the symptom of eating the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil is – seeing what is bad and liking to criticise.

The work of a Christian's life – is to have our inner value system transformed into God's value system.

5) Why Did Paul Say: So that your faith might not rest on human wisdom but on the power of God?

Human wisdom – deceives oneself, deceives others

Human faith – is built on human wisdom, what will be the result? Deception

For example: – This thing should be done this way, that way

Spiritual things are not human wisdom at all. Spiritual words explain spiritual things.

When we read the Bible, we immediately read into human wisdom.

• Tamar got a son from Judah. Pretended to be a prostitute.
• Jacob deceived his brother Esau for the blessing
• Abraham and Isaac deceived the people around them, saying that their wives were their sisters

Using human wisdom, using the way of distinguishing good and evil to read, is to criticise. Becoming a critic, becoming a poison tongue.

Paul conveyed a concept: Rely solely on the power of God!

Use spiritual words to see spiritual things.

According to the spiritual words, the result is the power of God.

As a debater, a critic, Paul would definitely lose to those false apostles. But to build up people's lives, to lead people into the powerful Gospel of God.

Where is our faith built? Those who deceive also quote the Bible! Our faith must be built on the power of God! Solely built on the power of God!

The church: is built by God, not by human wisdom.

We can imagine: God is an extremely rich God! A very powerful God! Can He not manage?

Those who came out of Egypt and died in the wilderness all died because they did not believe in God. They did not believe in God's power!

Today, if you are building a church, if you think God is not capable, if you think your method is better, then go and practice it! See if you can bring those who are about to die in the wilderness into the land of Canaan!

6) What proves that Jesus Christ is the Son of God? - Resurrection from the dead, powerfully demonstrating that He is the Son of God!

Rom 1:3 Regarding his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord, who as to his human nature was a descendant of David, Rom 1:4 and who through the Spirit of holiness was appointed the Son of God in power by his resurrection from the dead: Jesus Christ our Lord.

What proves that Jesus is the Son of God: The power of God.

What Jesus did was unprecedented!

Moses led Israel out of Egypt - The power of God!

Our belief in the Lord - The power of God.

7) Miracles can deceive, but healing the sick and casting out demons cannot!

Recently, there have been many posts online about master Wang Lin. It is said that many government officials and wealthy businessmen are Wang Lin's clients. It is unbelievable. In fact, people's hearts are filled with curiosity about spiritual matters!

That is not a scam! That is magic.

Egyptian magicians can perform magic. Empty plate turns into a snake, not magic, but magic.

The spiritual realm is real. The affairs of the spiritual realm govern the affairs of the material realm!

A demon's kingdom will not attack a demon's kingdom: Mak 3:22 And the teachers of the law who came down from Jerusalem said, “He is possessed by Beelzebub! By the prince of demons he is driving out demons.” Mak 3:23 So Jesus called them over to him and began to speak to them in parables: “How can Satan drive out Satan? Mak 3:24 If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. Mak 3:25 If a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand. Mak 3:26 And if Satan opposes himself and is divided, he cannot stand; his end has come. Mak 3:27 In fact, no one can enter a strong man’s house without first tying him up. Then he can plunder the strong man’s house.

Egyptian magicians can perform miracles, but they will never lead the Israelites out of Egypt.

We can see magic, but magic cannot bring us out of the kingdom of the devil.

They can perform miracles, but they will never heal the sick and cast out demons! They will not cast out themselves!

Mak 3:28 Truly I tell you, people can be forgiven all their sins and every slander they utter, Mak 3:29 but whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven; they are guilty of an eternal sin.” Mak 3:30 He said this because they were saying, “He has an impure spirit.”

Relying on the Spirit of God to heal the sick and cast out demons is definitely not what the prince of demons does! This is obvious! That is why most of what Jesus did was healing the sick and casting out demons. That is the best ministry to destroy the kingdom of the devil!

8) Vigorously promote healing and deliverance, so that our faith does not depend on human wisdom, but only on the power of God!

This is the path Jesus walked.

What we are doing is far from enough!

I strongly urge all group leaders and small parents to strive to walk the path that Jesus walked!

The path that Jesus did not walk, I think, let's forget it!

9) This is the most effective way to preach the gospel!

Released from the kingdom of the devil!

Jesus is talking about healing the sick and casting out demons!

Moses leading Israel out of Egypt - is the shadow of us leading people to believe in the Lord!

• With great power

• War

• Family

That is to pass on blessings

Bring health, bring healing, release, and live out glory

Wonderful life

10) Conclusion - God's power makes our lives more exciting!

How enjoyable it is to serve with God's power!

My logic: God is a God of great power. Will serving God zealously be a disadvantage? Will we get lost if we walk the path that Jesus once walked? Will we do wrong if we do what Jesus did?

Your work, your family, building the church - will all prosper!

Have faith in God! Does not depend on human wisdom: Some brothers and sisters are kind. Always want to tell the pastor what to do. I think many people also like to tell Paul what to do.
