Introduction

Today, I want to speak on this topic: the most essential thing a person needs in life is passion. You must serve with fervent enthusiasm, for it is through this that we create the most beautiful moments of our lives. If we were to look back, whether you are ten, twenty, thirty, fifty, or even eighty years old today, and reflect on the most wonderful period of your life, I assure you that it was a time when you were doing things with great passion. You may have been tired, but you thoroughly enjoyed it. Every time you recall that period, you feel you lived at your best; that time is most deeply etched in your memory because you were doing things with the passion within you.

If you review the accomplishments of your life, upon closer inspection, which ones truly succeeded? They are all the things you did with passionate zeal. The dire thing about this generation is that they attribute this to I'm interested in this matter. But that’s not it. It’s not so much about interest as it is about the passion within you. When a person loses passion, loses fervor, it is truly a sorrowful state. If today you are living in a lukewarm condition, I am here to speak to you. If you live without enthusiasm for anything, you will have shortchanged yourself in this life. Those who have followed Jesus will discover a fire within. Following Jesus to the end means keeping that fire burning until you leave this world.

Understand that in Jesus' time, He was crucified and buried in a tomb. When Jesus was crucified, His disciples felt greatly lost and utterly hopeless. Thus, two disciples were walking from Jerusalem to Emmaus, a distance of several miles. The fire within them had died out. The two disciples walked along, saying, Do you know what happened in Jerusalem? Our Lord Jesus was crucified. He performed miracles. We used to follow Him, and those good times were just before us, but Jesus is gone, crucified and buried. All who have followed Jesus, who have encountered Jesus, have had that fire ignited within them and enjoyed it. But once that fire is extinguished, they feel a great sense of loss.

As it happened, they met a man on the road who walked with them, explaining that Jesus Christ is the Messiah, that He was crucified, died, and was buried, and that He rose from the dead on the third day. Then they entered the small village of Emmaus, sitting down together to talk. Suddenly, the two disciples said, It is the Lord Jesus! And the Lord Jesus vanished from their sight. They had encountered the Lord Jesus, and the fire within them was rekindled. What was that sensation like? The Lord Jesus was gone, and now He has appeared to us again. The Lord Jesus has risen from the dead. These two disciples said to each other:

Did not our hearts burn within us while he talked to us on the road, while he opened to us the Scriptures? (Luke 24:32, ESV)

While that fire was still burning, they walked several miles from Emmaus back to Jerusalem. Have you ever walked at night? Walking at night is tiring, especially for many miles. They hurried back to Jerusalem that very night and, upon arriving, told the disciples, We have seen the Lord Jesus! The Lord Jesus has risen from the dead! God knows very well how you and I should live, and tells us:

And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. (Mark 12:30, ESV)

Ignite the Inner Flame of Love

Do you know what love is? Love is a burning fire. When we have a fire burning within us, we begin to live beautifully. One does not live beautifully in a depressed state; when the fire within is ignited, releasing the love of God, you will surely live beautifully. Our generation has invented a term called repressed passion. Repressed passion is not good. I looked it up online, and the term passion sounds unpleasant, but it turns out to be a compliment. Actually, keeping it bottled up is not good; it’s better to release your unique charm, to let the fire within you be released.

Today, we are going to do something in the church: through my sharing today, ignite and release the fire within you. Fire can infect people; one person's enthusiasm can inspire others. I tell you, I am full of passion. I know very well that when a person is full of passion, sharing that passion immediately blesses the other person. I work with passion, build the church with passion. I know very well that when you are full of passion, the feeling you get from living is excellent. I so hope that the fire in our church is rekindled, that you are not just living to go to work and come home, stifled to death. No fire at work, no fire at home, no passion at all, just passing day after day.

If decades pass by, and we recall this time of striving together, of fervently serving God, this time of struggle will feel very exciting in the future; it will be the most beautiful. You know, when Jack Ma and his team recall the time when the Eighteen Arhats were struggling together, they enjoy that beautiful time very much, and it will be even more beautiful in the future. Let the fire within us continue to be released. A person who has encountered God is certainly a fervent person, that is the state we should have.

When the fire within those two disciples of Emmaus was rekindled, walking several miles was not a problem at all. They walked so vigorously that their arms swung about, feeling incredibly refreshed. Then they hurried back to tell the apostles, We have seen the resurrected Lord! All who have seen the resurrected Lord know that life is in Him, and we too have received life in Him. You know, there is a book called The Torch and the Sword, which describes what? Adam and Eve lived in that burning state. You ask, Was there pressure? No pressure. Was living tiring? Not tiring! They were full of fervor doing things every day, managing groups of animals without getting tired. Why? Because there was a fire within them.

If today you feel tired, your fire has gone out, and it needs to be rekindled. In recent weeks, I have been saying not to give up; the fire within us keeps us from giving up. I have also spoken about striving diligently; it is the fire within us that makes us strive diligently. Living with passion is key. If you ask me how to live well, living with passion allows you to live well, because our God is a passionate God. Start being passionate, restore the original image of God's children, and things will be accomplished. If you read Genesis chapter one, And it was so, because God does things with great passion. How do I know, you ask? It is written in the later prophetic books:

The zeal of the Lord of hosts will do this. (Isaiah 37:32, ESV)

A person without zeal cannot accomplish anything. Do you want to be able to count the things you have accomplished when you leave this world, and say, Wow! This life has been great! You count them all, and they are all things done with passion. Doing things without passion, even if done, is pointless and futile, because God cares deeply that we do things with burning passion.

The zeal of the Lord of hosts will do this. (Isaiah 9:6-7, ESV)

Today I tell you, if things are accomplished, it must be because one person or a group of people has this passionate zeal. In my dream, I envision a glorious church where we can be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth. The whole earth is full of the glory of the Lord, the whole earth is full of God’s grace. Why? Because I have such a passion within me, a fire that is constantly burning there, hoping that this fire will accomplish what I do. I believe that what I do will be accomplished, because I have the image of God.

Brothers and sisters, I don’t want you to be ignorant of this: passion can heal diseases; do not think that rest can cure diseases. In fact, in my work, I am often quite ill, but I almost never take sick leave. Even if I get a disease that seems deadly, I don't go to the hospital for examination. I have all the symptoms of nasopharyngeal carcinoma, but I think it’s wonderful not to be afraid of death. I haven’t taken a single day of sick leave, and I go to work every day under tremendous pressure. All the work is what should have been done yesterday or last month, and I am there doing it with passion every day. Sometimes, when I am so tired that I can't go on, I lie down on the desk for half an hour, then lift my head and continue. Cancer and diseases cannot overcome a passionate person, because a passionate person will get things done. I tell you, focusing on doing things itself can heal people.

Therefore, I encourage everyone to start learning to pray, not quietly and weakly in tongues, but to declare it loudly in tongues. If you want to sleep, then sleep well. Don’t pray and want to sleep at the same time. Those who accomplish things are people of passion. So, today you must repent. You may say, Pastor, I was born without zeal. My task is to give you zeal. Zeal is a choice, not innate but chosen later. Choosing to do things with passion is very important.

Prayer

Lord, You have died for us on the cross; Lord, Your government has been established; Lord, Isaiah's prophecy has been fulfilled; Lord, Your zeal has accomplished this salvation. Today, we enter into Your promise by faith. Lord Jesus, we ask You to restore our original image, so that we can live out Your fervor, live out the passion within us. Lord, let our service become more and more passionate; let our service be more and more pleasing to You. Lord, according to Your word and according to Your zeal, accomplish marvelous things among us.

Today, according to Your original zeal, accomplish Your marvelous things among us, and build Your glorious church. Lead us, so that Your glorious church may be established on this earth. Lord, use Your original zeal to lead us, so that we may be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth, building a church pleasing to You. Lord, we thank You! We praise You! Lead us to continuously improve the structure of the church, to continuously improve the ministry of the church, to continuously improve the pastoral care of the church. Lord, let everything we do be full of passion; Lord! We love You, with the passion within us we love You; we thank You, through us accomplish the miracles of this generation, in the name of Jesus Christ! Amen!

The Key to Resolving Fatigue is Passion, Not Rest

If you often feel very tired, the key to solving the problem is not rest, but to become fervent. Passion can drive away all fatigue. When I was in Taipei, I met a person who was a senior pastor of a large church. The more he served, the more tired he became, so he retired to rest. He wanted to rest but couldn't; he couldn't sleep when he wanted to sleep; he wanted to work but wanted to sleep. Someone saw that my service often had miracles, because in 2012, I served a person with hemiplegia from the sequelae of cerebral hemorrhage, and they were healed, and also the person with back pain. So they said to the leaders of their church: I will take you to meet this pastor, this pastor serves with very good results.

I called him, and he said: Pastor Liu, do you know? If we serve like this, we will be burned out sooner or later. I said: Why will we be burned out sooner or later? Because we have to work on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, and we have to serve on Sunday, and we have to train on Saturday. We don’t have a rest for seven days a week. In fact, when he said this to me, he had already been resting in a resort house for a week: How was your rest this week? No! I wake up every morning feeling sore and tired, I can't sleep, I don't want to sleep, but I still want to sleep but I can't sleep.

I said: You are a senior pastor of a large church, and I am a small pastor of a small church, but one natural difference between us is that I have passion in me. I haven't rested a day from my twenties until now, do you know? I rarely sleep before two o'clock. But I have no problems today, I am not burned out. Why? Because I am fire. If I am charcoal, the fire outside will burn me out; if I am fire, I will burn others out; because I am that fire! I said: Come, sister! I will take you to pray. It doesn't matter whether you are a small church or a large church, a senior pastor or a small pastor, this fire will drive away the fatigue in her, and she was completely healed after prayer.

This generation often has people who lack passion. If you want to solve the problems within them, it is not to let them rest. Because I have already concluded that when I go to the hospital to see people, they are all resting in the hospital for several months before they die. I don't want to rest, I just want to serve the Lord with fervent enthusiasm one day, serve the Lord with fervent enthusiasm the next day, and then disappear on the third day. If one day you find that I am gone, you just saw me the day before, why am I gone the next day? I have gone to heaven, I hope so.

You know, I have always hoped that this is the case, that even before I die, I will be doing things with fervent enthusiasm. Recently, there was a brother whom I often served. As soon as I led prayer in the group, he said: Pastor! I feel weak all over. Stand up, start squatting and standing up, and pray with me, are you better? Much better. In fact, squatting and standing up is not the key to solving the problem, but the fire within him must rise.

Knowledge cannot replace passion within a person, rest cannot replace passion within a person, passion can drive away all fatigue. This brother eventually left the church, do you know why? Because he was the charcoal, and I was the fire, and he couldn't stand it. Because his concept has always been: I want to rest, I want to rest. Today I ask him to record a small video, tomorrow I ask him to write a report, and the day after tomorrow I ask him to write a homework, and he thinks that doing these things will destroy him, he is very lazy! Today I tell you, lazy people are prone to illness! When you see a person with many illnesses, you know that he is a lazy person! I tell you, some time ago, I served a mentally ill patient, and he asked me what solutions there were. I said, Yes! Do housework, be diligent, and get up to do things.

The Power of Passion and Rest

I tell you, a person full of passion has the image of God in him, and a person full of passion does not need to rest. Then what is the Sabbath? Sabbath is Sabbath, rest is rest, I have made this very clear. Those who rest do not get rest, and those who Sabbath get rest. How can it be tiring to be close to God and serve in God? Last night, while I was writing the manuscript, I discussed how to serve some people in need until three or four o'clock, and I got home at five o'clock. I slept until eight o'clock and got up again, and I didn't feel tired. When I am tired, I lie down and sleep for a while, if I am not tired, then I don’t. It's not that I don't know I am tired, nor that I don't feel tired, it's just that the passion in me drives away the feeling of tiredness in me. Try it, this passion can drive away the feeling of tiredness in you.

When I saw the way a person walked, I really wanted to kick his butt. The United States has completely withdrawn from the TPP organization. The term TPP translated into Chinese is kick butt. When I saw this person, I really wanted to kick him, why is he so slow, so mediocre? I tell you, I don't like to hire employees who are particularly slow and particularly mediocre. I think, how can a person be like this? Can't people be a little more passionate? Isn't it good to be a little more passionate? You have to do things with enthusiasm. I ask you, do you like to follow a pastor without passion? You certainly don't like it. Isn't it good to walk with your head held high and be enthusiastic?

Have you noticed a characteristic of our church? After everyone comes to church, those who sleep at ten o'clock change to eleven o'clock, those who sleep at eleven o'clock change to twelve o'clock, those who sleep at twelve o'clock change to one o'clock, and those who sleep at one o'clock change to two o'clock. A sister told me: Pastor, I can't sleep past eleven o'clock, if I sleep past eleven o'clock, I will get acne on my face. I need to get beauty sleep, can you end the Bible study on time? But later I found that beauty sleep does not solve the problem. A few days ago, they compared two photos, which was a comparison of a sister's photos on her passport ten years ago and ten years later. Putting the two photos together for comparison, she looked like she was in her thirties when she was twenty years old, and now she is almost thirty years old, she looks like she is in her twenties. But she doesn't sleep every night, she is just burning there, serving God. Do you want to be beautiful? Do you want to not get sick? I tell you, the best way is to become fervent. Fervent work and fervent service can solve the problem of disease.

When I was in school, there was a person who got liver cancer. He set up a stall at the door to repair bicycles. He repaired bicycles for others with passion, and he did it for free. The doctor told him that he had three months to live, so he used these three months to repair bicycles for people. As a result, he did not die after three months, he did not die after six months, and he did not die after nine months. He went to the hospital for examination, and the cancer was gone! Now, he started charging for repairing bicycles. I tell you, if you live a very tired life, rest is not the key to solving the problem, but to release the passion in you.

There are many people in this world who live a very boring life, if you live a very boring life, entertainment is not the solution, but serving God. Believe my words, don't think I am忽悠(hū悠,persuade) everyone to serve God. I didn't know God before, and I didn't know what life was about. I really lived a boring life. Later, I knew God, and I changed from a repressed passion type to a leading passion type. My service has never been serving with reason, my service is serving with emotion, and the result is that serving has become my entertainment.

Passion Drives Success

After a KTV session, you might feel a sense of emptiness. But after serving, you will have an exhilarating feeling. If I don't lead people in prayer or serve others for a while, I feel like something is missing in my life, and I get restless. So when I feel down, I lead people in prayer and serve them, and the effect is remarkably good! Singing KTV really doesn't solve the problem of depression. I once told myself that there is one thing I will do ceaselessly in this lifetime. Whether the church is big or small is not the key. Even if the church becomes very large, I will not say I don't have time to serve. I will often lead healing and deliverance in groups. I tell myself that this is my lifelong decision. Leading people in prayer, healing, and deliverance is fantastic! For example, if someone has back pain, I ask them to put their hand on their back and say with me, In the name of Jesus Christ, I command the back pain to leave. As a result, the person's back pain is healed. That feeling is like drinking a bowl of chicken soup, incredibly refreshing.

Have you all noticed that I lead Bible studies with my passion? I once asked everyone what would happen if I led a Bible study in a gentle, warm manner. People would fall asleep. Listening to it before going to sleep might be okay, but studying with me would be troublesome. This is how I train people. When a sister came to Singapore, I trained her to ignite a fire within her, including teaching her how to study the Bible and how to invest her emotions. Recently, I saw a short video she recorded, and it was very well done. This is how I train people. Why? Because passion is the key to a person's vitality! People must live in passion. Without passion, nothing can be accomplished, and without passion, everything you do is tiring. If you have emotional investment obstacles, you need deliverance.

Later, I discovered that people controlled by the spirit of the dragon cannot release their emotions, and their emotions are like a fire stifled within them, turning them into the repressed type. I find being a pastor like this is a very enjoyable profession. If pastors hear my sermon and are not doing well or enjoying it, it's because they are not investing passion or their emotions. In fact, the profession of a pastor is very enjoyable because God is always with you, but you must do it with passion and zeal. If you don't do it with passion and zeal, it will be very dull. Not only being a pastor, but any profession will be dull without passion.

For those of us who work in early childhood education, I tell you, wash the children's bottoms with your passion, and you will enjoy washing bottoms. Otherwise, whether you like it or not, you have to do it because children need their bottoms washed every day. Do you want to live without feeling so dull, living in enjoyment every day? Even if it's cleaning toilets, even if it's washing children's bottoms, even if it's doing anything, do it with your inner passion, and it will be a very enjoyable thing.

God created us to enjoy life and to enjoy living in His presence. What kind of people does God dwell with? God is willing to dwell with those who are full of passion. It is difficult for God to dwell with those who lack passion. People who are depressed all the time are sure to attract demons. I have found that lazy people, people without passion, and those who are dull attract evil spirits.

If You Can't Seem to Accomplish Anything, What You Need Is Passion

What you need is not a diploma or knowledge. Passion allows you to persist until you accomplish things. My passion can definitely lead me to build a victorious and glorious church. Because I am very clear about what I am doing, and I am full of passion in everything I do. So in this life, I have never failed to accomplish anything. So when you read Genesis chapter 1, it says four times, And it was so. It was so because of the inner passion. Let me tell you why things don't get done and you give up after doing a little bit—it's because there is no passion inside.

The Power of Passion and Perseverance

I was once promoted from an engineer to a manager, and being a manager is a very dull profession. Everyone who has worked in technology and then goes into management has a hurdle to overcome because the management stuff is very dull. You have to arrange leave, who is taking sick leave, who is on duty, and there are many troublesome things. You have to sign off on receipts for reimbursements, and you get tired of looking at a stack of receipts every day. These administrative tasks are very tedious and boring, but the salary is quite good. I told myself every day, I already like doing this! I already like doing this! My passion started to rise, and then I started signing those receipts with passion. I practiced signing my name passionately in a notebook. You can see that my signature is passable, why? Because I practiced it with passion.

After half a year, I finally figured out how to be a manager and how to do management. Today I can help you revise your resume because I figured it out during those six very dull months, and I asked myself how I should be a manager. It's easy to manage workers; capitalists used to hire foremen with whips to whip them from behind. But it's difficult to manage intellectuals; knowledge is in their minds. It's too difficult to dig out what's in their heads. Later, I summed up a set of management mechanisms for intellectuals, which is to release what's in their heads. Later, I figured out what the management mechanism for intellectuals is, and I enjoyed it more and more. Even a very dull thing, if you do it with passion, you will overcome that dull feeling. Not everything you do is enjoyable.

Someone said to me, Pastor, I really like doing digital media. I said, Great, then draw a 5-minute video. As a result, he drew for 3 months and then said to me, Pastor, I'm not interested anymore. Why? Because it's really dull. You have to draw frame by frame, and a 5-minute video really takes 3 months to draw. People without passion can't stick to anything. Passion is your most important concept. If you don't have passion, it doesn't matter; just tell yourself that you have passion, you do have passion, you have already started to have passion, and then you do it.

When building the church, I experienced setback after setback, but because I have passion inside, I won't give up. I don't know what it means to give up. I'm full of passion in everything I do. Basically, all the holes in the walls of our church for hanging things were drilled by me. I drill those holes with passion.

Today, we must learn to do things with passion, and nothing will be impossible. But don't be a flash in the pan. People who are a flash in the pan are useless. In any case, keep your passion burning. Why? Because you have a dream inside. If you don't have a dream inside, it's difficult to keep burning, which is why I often share a vision with you when I share. People need a vision, people need dreams, people need passion, people need faith, and people need hope. These are the keys to a person's vitality!

I have watched the movie Never Give Up no less than ten times, and I cry every time I watch it. Why? Because I feel that's me. I often feel that God is next to me saying, Keep going! Keep going! I say in my heart, Lord, I'm really in pain, I'm really tired, I really want to give up, I'm really suffering. But I won't give up. I have a fire inside. I tell God, I love you. Every time, my strength is added. Because I have a fire inside, I love God with my inner passion, and it seems that a primordial power blooms within me.

Passion Ignites Life and Service

Today, brothers and sisters, start to recover and release the primordial power inside, running towards the goals that God has given you and me, building a glorious church, and becoming a blessing to this generation. I will never forget that I finally came into this world with great difficulty, and I will never live a shriveled life in this world. In any case, even if it's very painful, even if it's very tiring, I will not lose passion inside. Not only will I not lose passion, but I will also pass this passion on to my full-time co-workers and to the brothers and sisters of the church, to be a blessing to this generation. I am also very clear that God is looking for people who are passionate about doing things. Only such people can build God's glorious church! Do you know what Paul said? Because of love for God, we are mad for God! We are mad for the sake of God!

Yes! Some people may describe me as a religious fanatic! Actually, I am not a religious fanatic, I am a Jesus fanatic, I am a person who loves Jesus to the point of madness. I really love the Lord! I said, Lord! If you want my life, I'll give it to you at any time. I really wish you would take my life sooner! I tell you, when you serve with passion, it's not that God gains anything, it's me who gains, I really enjoy it! I enjoy that I finally came into this world with great difficulty in this life. Why not enjoy it? Isn't it! Every time I accomplish something, I really enjoy it!

Once, the person in charge of our website, I had also served him diligently, but he still left me. Later, I also figured out the reason for leaving me, which was because I was too passionate! As a result, the website died that day, there was a technical problem, and I had a cold, fever, and headache that day, and the website died again. I was the only one there trying to fix it, and I really didn't know how to fix it! It was very uncomfortable! And I often felt a sense of self-pity, often feeling very lonely and hard-working. But the fire inside me did not go out.

I said, God, you don't extinguish the dim wick! The fire inside me was rekindled! Even if I had to start learning from scratch, I would learn it. I was crying and feeling self-pity, and then I used my inner passion to fight against that self-pity. Finally, I got the website up and running! I was watching, and I tell you, every command was searched for online, I really didn't know how! Thank God! I completely solved those technical problems.

To this day, all the electronic equipment in the church, and anything related to technology, has my fingerprints on it; everything has my handprints on it. Why? Because I have a dream inside! It's not just doing things, it's enjoying life! I really wish our brothers and sisters were all passionate people. No matter what you do, no matter how big the matter, release your inner passion! Never be a limp, soft, weak person! Never be this kind of person! Make up your mind, if you are this kind of person, start to change today!

Once I saw a program about an ironing competition, and there was a pile of clothes there to be ironed. Do you know how the people ironing were ironing? The ironing technique was like practicing martial arts, simply somersaulting and flipping targets. When I saw them ironing so fast, after watching the competition, I also took out our ironing board, and I tried it too! Efficiency increased by fifty percent! Being full of passion brings efficiency! Being full of passion brings enjoyment! Being full of passion makes your life colorful!

I tell you, God is looking for you, God is walking with you. When God is walking with you, will the fire inside you be like the two disciples at the Supper at Emmaus? Is your heart as hot as those two disciples? If your heart is on fire, start serving! Start rising up to serve this God who created the universe! What you do will surely see results. Amen!

Our God Is a Zealous God

“The zeal of the Lord Almighty will accomplish this.” (Isaiah 37:32)

You know, there are so many words like this in the Bible. Why does the Lord God say that the zeal of the Lord will accomplish this? Because the zeal of the Lord will accomplish this, it is a very painful thing. Jesus is His own only son, incarnated, nailed to the cross for your and my sins. You can't do this without passion! Surely he has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his stripes we are healed. Everyone can take a look at The Passion of the Christ, it's very bloody! That whip with hooks on top was drawn on Jesus' body, and by His stripes we are healed!

Why? Because that pain is the punishment we deserve. Because we are sinners, pain is the punishment we deserve. But Jesus, because of the stripes He suffered on His body, are all attributed to Him, and our pain is attributed to Him. If someone says, Why does your church emphasize healing so much? Healing is originally God's grace, it is that by the stripes of Jesus we are healed. This is the best gift God has given us, why not want it? Why do you have to say that this disease on my body is given to me by God? Can you change that?

Today, brothers and sisters, I want to say that if God did not have zeal, it would be difficult to accomplish such a thing! Too difficult! Doesn't Jesus hurt? It hurts! It really hurts! It's very hard! But no matter how painful it is, He is willing to go to the cross. At the moment He breathed his last, He said, It is finished! It is done! From now on, we can rely on the stripes of Jesus to receive healing. Also because of His style of doing things, because of His zeal, we have received salvation.

Isn't it worth us responding to God with a zealous heart? Shouldn't we love God with a fiery heart? We love God only to receive grace, not for God to receive grace! We love God is for us to receive grace. To do Jesus you need to have passion, because that is God's original image! If you want to serve this generation, you can’t do it without passion. I tell you, when I started serving, the first experience I had was that my heart was pierced with holes, and without zeal, I couldn't continue. Our salvation is accomplished by God with His zeal.

He saw that there was no one, he was appalled that there was no one to intercede; so his own arm achieved salvation for him, and his own righteousness sustained him. He put on righteousness as his breastplate, and the helmet of salvation on his head; he put on the garments of vengeance and wrapped himself in zeal as in a cloak. According to what they have done, so will he repay wrath to his enemies and retribution to his foes; he will repay the islands their due. (Isaiah 59:16-18 NIV)

He takes zeal as a cloak, not putting zeal inside, but living out zeal. Do you know that what God hates most is people who are neither cold nor hot?

I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth. (Revelation 3:15-16 NIV)

If you continue to be neither cold nor hot, living in that limp, soft, weak state, either God will kick you in the butt, or God will spit you out. I tell you, anyone who has been a leader or leader, do you know what kind of person you hate the most? It is the kind of person who is very bland and you can't squeeze a fart out of them with a carrying pole. I really like people who are full of passion in doing things. Which kind of person do you want to be? To be a person that God likes or a person that God hates? I am determined to please God!

Restore Passion, Bless Generations

Is it really difficult to be a person full of passion in serving? It's not difficult! So among us, if someone tells you that you can't serve like this, serving like this will exhaust you. I tell you that he is the person who will be exhausted. Those who serve will not necessarily be exhausted, but those who are afraid of serving will be exhausted. What do people lack today? People lack passion! People lack the image of God! Moses met God on the mountain, forty days and nights, without eating or drinking, and his face shone when he came down. Why? Because he restored the glorious image of God there.

If Moses did not have passion inside, he could not have brought the Israelites out of Egypt. Without passion, serving is really hard. What you love, you start to invest your emotions in. If you love God, you start to serve fervently. I tell you, fervent service is not what God needs, it is what you need! I tell you, when you serve fervently, you will surely live a very wonderful life! Service without emotion is dead, service without emotion is not contagious. When you are a person who serves with passion, I tell you that the effect of your service will surely be released. Are you a passionate person? If you are a passionate person, the dogs on the street know it; if you are not a passionate person, even the dogs on the street know it.

Today, start to restore your inner passion, start serving fervently, I tell you fervent service will surely release the effect of service. Today, brothers and sisters, do you know why my service is effective? Because I have emotions inside. I weep with those who are sad and those who are in crisis; when their crisis is over, I rejoice with them, because my emotions are connected to them. Isn't this exactly what God wants? If you just seem to be completing a task, like you are using a duty mentality, lacking passion inside, lacking emotion, this kind of service is impossible to have an effect.

Today, all of us who are not pastoring well, I tell you that you need release, you need to release the passion inside you, and invest your emotions in serving! Today, after listening to my sharing, have you decided to be a passionate person? Brothers and sisters must know that being a passionate person must be a person who gives, must be a person who dedicates. Are we willing to use our service to bless this generation today? If you have such a mindset today, willing to offer yourself, start saying to God today: God, here I am, I want to serve this generation, give your grace, so that through me I can bless this generation!
