【Bible Study】1 Samuel Chapter 30 - David Encouraged Himself in the Lord His God!

2023-01-18 41,434 1 Samuel 1 Samuel 30 1 Samuel Chapter 30 Giving Away Strengthened in Heart After God's Own Heart Building Faith

Introduction

Good morning. Let's turn to 1 Samuel, chapter 30. I make it a practice to identify the theme of each chapter when I read the scriptures. In doing so, two things must be considered. The first is to understand what the entire book of 1 Samuel is about. Throughout 1 Samuel, it speaks of God searching for a faithful priest.

In fact, God is always looking for faithful priests and faithful servants, but He just cannot find them. Actually, it is also very difficult to find suitable talent in a company, not because you cannot find a job, but because you are not talent. If you are talent, others will treat you like a treasure. The key is whether you are that treasure. Many people only think about what they want, but do not think about what others need. God wants to find someone who trusts Him and is steadfast in heart, because only such a person can be a king and priest after His own heart before God.

In the beginning, God found old Eli, but God did not think it was good. Later, He found a faithful priest, Samuel. God also did not think it was good to establish Saul as king, so He was too lazy to pay attention to him, so that he lost God's presence, which was a tragedy. Later, God found David again. God is always searching like this. Do not think that branding I am a pastor on your forehead with a hot iron will work. In fact, God wants to see if your heart is steadfast. Similarly, branding I am a Christian, I will go to heaven when I die on your forehead is also useless. In the end, it depends on whether you are a person after God's own heart. To be a person after God's own heart, when you encounter all kinds of problems, whether your heart is steadfast, this determines your future.

The theme of this chapter is David relied on his God and was steadfast in heart. People who trust in God and are steadfast in heart are very opinionated and have their own ideas. David has a complete knowledge system and knows how to be a king after God's own heart. He has a very clear mind and will not be confused by what others say. Even if he marries many wives, he will not be disturbed by any of them whispering in his ear. David is not such a person. His heart is very steadfast. This chapter tells about David overcoming the last test before becoming king.

In fact, God often tests us. The question is, when God tests us, can we pass the test? Many people have never gotten their driver's license and have failed the test several times because they always fail. If you want to be a king, you must get a license and take a test before God to see if you are a king after His own heart. So when things come, your reaction determines your future, whether it is Saul's future or David's future, this remains to be examined.

Reaction in Times of Crisis

Now it happened, when David and his men came to Ziklag, on the third day, that the Amalekites had invaded the South and Ziklag, attacked Ziklag and burned it with fire, and had taken away the women and those who were there, great and small; but they did not kill anyone, but carried them away and went their way. So David and his men came to the city, and there it was, burned with fire; and their wives, their sons, and their daughters had been taken captive. Then David and the people who were with him lifted up their voices and wept, until they had no more power to weep.(1 Samuel 30:1-4)

David left with King Achish for about two or three days, and their camp, Ziklag, was raided by the Amalekites. Not only was it burned, but everyone and everything left in the camp was taken away. A person's reaction in times of crisis determines that person's future. When David encountered such a tragic event, he instantly lost everything, both people and possessions, and wept until he had no strength left.

David thought, It's over. All my hard work has been reduced to ashes. It was because he followed King Achish to fight against the Israelites, and David had no choice but to go at that time. As a result, David went, and no one took care of his home. When he came back, everything was gone. He could not help but feel sad. Not only that, but the people David brought with him wanted to stone him to death for this. Many people's reaction to this kind of thing is to reason with others first, then complain about why God let such a thing happen, and then doubt whether God's eyes are blind.

Everyone is fine when nothing happens, but as soon as something happens, people immediately react. For example, some of us are unemployed and have nothing to do at home, but we attend meetings and prayer meetings every time, and we never miss a single one. It seems that we are very spiritual. But I do not think so. I can tell at a glance that they have nothing to do and come to church to pass the time. Once these people find a job, they will put meetings and Bible studies aside when they are busy. I can examine whether these people are really spiritual. No matter how many miracles and wonders people experience, it is the same. Later, I gradually got used to it, and this situation is common.

Therefore, I often try it out, just to observe some people's reactions. To be honest, I really do not do many things that I am sorry for. Even if you have hurt me, I will still choose to help you when you encounter something. Even so, I am especially clear in my heart that when such a person encounters something again, he will still forget God.

Everyone usually comes and goes, eats, drinks, and has fun together, and everything is harmonious. When something happens, even some trivial things will turn people against each other. These people will forget all the past grace. If you treat me like this once or twice, I will probably know what kind of person you are in my heart, but this will not change my attitude of serving you. Because I serve you as if I were serving God, as for what kind of person you are, I just need to know it in my heart.

Now David was greatly distressed, for the people spoke of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and his daughters. But David strengthened himself in the Lord his God. (1 Samuel 30:6)

The people David brought with him wanted to stone David in this situation. These people are not reliable at all. As soon as their core interests are touched, they reveal their true colors. Sometimes, even if it is not their core interests that are touched, they will do this. These people are fools. They are like this with David, so wouldn't they be even more arbitrary with God? At this time, David did not reason with these people or question them why they were ungrateful and how they had forgotten how David had helped them in the first place.

Since David did not talk about this, then why should I talk about this during the Bible study? Because I never care about these things with people, and I give it to you willingly. But what kind of person you want to be, how much capacity you have, and what your situation is, you have to figure out and change it yourself. Do not say that your core interests are touched, sometimes it is not necessarily your core interests that make you jump and get angry. You are narrow-minded, like a beast, and you want to argue and reason with me at every turn. Fortunately, you do not have a stone in your hand, otherwise you would have the same face as those who wanted to stone David.

A steadfast person is not shaken in any environment. If you encounter something and identify good and evil, and like to dig up old accounts, if you do not change, you are a useless person. God sees you as garbage, and I see you the same way. I am telling our co-workers, senior pastors, and junior pastors, do not think that I need you. If you think that I need you very much, then you are wrong. I do not need anything except God. Because I am very clear in my heart that everyone is fine when nothing happens, but once something happens, everything is ruined. So I do not rely on anyone or expect anyone. People live like this, and it is the same when they die.

Then David said to Abiatar the priest, Ahimelech’s son, “Please bring the ephod here to me.” And Abiatar brought the ephod to David.(1 Samuel 30:7)

After David cried and calmed down, he was still steadfast in his heart. He had to ask God, because he could not live without God. The previous chapters talked about how good it is to have God's presence in difficulties. Do not lose God's presence. Whether a person is steadfast in heart depends on how he reacts to things. This represents the key to whether God will be with him in the future. We must not be wrong. Praying for healing is not called God's presence. No matter who it is, healing is what God wants to do, and you are just a vessel. Some people ask: Why is prayer sometimes effective and sometimes not? Because that is what God does, and it has nothing to do with you.

So David inquired of the Lord, saying, “Shall I pursue this troop? Shall I overtake them?” And He answered him, “Pursue, for you shall surely overtake them and without fail recover all.”(1 Samuel 30:8)

A person who is steadfast in heart, God gives this kind of response. Another kind of person who is not steadfast in heart, when encountering this kind of thing, will immediately worry and fear, and that will be completely finished. What kind of person you are, you really have to ask yourself and change it slowly. When Saul asked God, God did not respond and was too lazy to pay attention to him. If God is too lazy to pay attention to you, what should you do? There are many times in a person's life when they encounter such things. Sometimes I feel anxious when I look at such people. I can only say that I will move forward with faith and hope for God's mercy. When a person asks God and God responds, this is God's presence.

When Saul encountered something and asked God, God did not respond, and neither did the demons. As a result, he had to find a medium. Saul called Samuel up from the ground, and then he died in battle the next day. David inquired of God and successfully rescued his family. Saul was fighting the Philistines, and as a result, he died in the next chapter. It can be seen how uncomfortable it is to live without God. To be a steadfast person, do not panic when something happens. Do as I say and it will become very simple. Things that are so simple that people will not die are trivial matters, and things that can kill people are not a big deal at all. If a person has an idea like mine, he will live a very simple life. This forms a complete logical system of trusting God alone.

When building a church, I often say to my co-workers, Those who are willing to follow me, follow me; those who are not willing to follow me can go wherever they want. Those who are willing to set up their own banners are also welcome. I do not want to stretch my hand so long. There is no need to make people think that I need someone very much. I only need God. Do not bring what you have done to me to show off. Doing work is grace. It is not because you have done something that you will be victorious. It has nothing to do with this. I will never be affected by the departure of a few members or co-workers in the church. I trust my God alone and am steadfast in my heart, never wavering.

Ask God, and God will make me victorious. God is the God who makes me victorious! Building a church is like this, but until now, the pastors I have seen are often not like this. Many pastors often live in bondage because their hearts are not steadfast. Whether it is their wife, children, co-workers, or members, they are slightly intimidated by them. Before they are stoned, their hearts are already not steadfast. Such people cannot serve God, nor can they be priests and kings after God's own heart, let alone manage God's people.

It Does Not Matter Whether There Are Many or Few People

When King Saul saw his people leaving one by one, he was horrified and frightened. He felt that if there were fewer people, he could not fight this battle. In fact, fighting does not require people. Saul also offered sacrifices for this, but this was not a question of whether to offer sacrifices or not. The reason Saul offered sacrifices was because he was afraid of the people. Whether there are many or few people has nothing to do with God making us victorious. Saul's son Jonathan defeated all the enemies with only a weapon-bearer. God makes us victorious. It has nothing to do with whether there are many or few people or whether there is a lot or a little money. It only has to do with being steadfast in heart.

Brothers and sisters, you are really blessed to be among us, because I am a steadfast person and will never waver! I trust God and do what God says. No one can stop me. I am very flexible in things I do not believe in, but I am very stubborn in my trust in God. Some people are just the opposite of me. They are very weak in trusting God, but very strong in absurdity and unbelief.

You can be victorious among us because I am determined to be a faithful priest and do not care at all whether there are many or few people. Church management is not managed according to the KPI performance assessment standards of enterprises. The KPI of the church cannot determine the direction of the church. Everyone must know for sure that I never ask our pastors to shepherd a certain number of people. I only care whether you shepherd correctly.

A pastor told me that their senior pastor wanted him to make a beautiful data at all costs, that is, to shepherd 30 people now, and to shepherd 60 people next year. In fact, rushing so much volume is to bring a lot of garbage into the church. When this pastor came to me, he was very worried and dared not tell the truth, because this performance could not be achieved by relying on the sermons of his senior pastor. In fact, looking at the appearance of their church, people come but cannot stay. It would be even more troublesome if it were according to the standards of our church. Some churches with tens of thousands of members would be very lucky to pick out hundreds or eighty like our brothers and sisters. Therefore, it is impossible to be good to bring people into the church. Building a church has nothing to do with whether there are many or few people. What we want to build is a church that is after God's own heart and steadfast.

So David and the six hundred men with him came to the Brook Besor, where those stayed who were left behind. But David pursued, he and four hundred men; for two hundred stayed behind, who were so weary that they could not cross the Brook Besor.(1 Samuel 30:9-10)

Since David already had God's promise, he would definitely catch up if he pursued, and he would definitely be able to take it back. Who knew that 200 of his men would play rogue and complain that they could not walk. It would be over if he counted on them. When David saw that they were deserting, he did not care and continued to move forward with the remaining 400 people. If David was not steadfast in his heart at this time, remembering that there were not many people in the first place, and now there were 200 fewer people in combat power, but the Amalekites were in the thousands. David must have been worried, thinking that he could not fight this battle and there was no need to pursue it. I have studied the affairs of David, Saul, Peter, and Paul a lot, and I am very clear in my heart that victory in battle does not depend on whether there are many or few people.

There are many absurd things now. For example, some pastors stand on the stage and preach eloquently, especially when they pray, the people below fall down. They ask the brothers and sisters under the stage whether they know that the reason why his prayer is so powerful is because he has a prayer team of 300 people behind him. This should be taught by the devil and is definitely wrong. When did everyone see Jesus bringing a large group of people with a prayer team of 200 or 300 people behind him? Jesus did not need a prayer team at all, and neither did David. It was completely okay for 200 people to stay where they were.

If David was not steadfast in his heart, he would worry that if another 100 people were left behind, there would only be 300 people left. It was not certain that 600 people could win, but now there were only half left. Then he should give up and not go to die. If someone else jumps out and says that he is also tired, he will find that only David is left in the end. In fact, it does not matter if no one goes. You all know where the Chinese Mingding Destiny comes from. In the early days, there were very few Chinese Mingding Destiny people, but I did not care at all. I told myself that even if I was the only one left, I would love the Lord my God with all my heart and build God's glorious church, and never gather a mob. I would rather be a plumber, the kind of person who is called to unclog a toilet when the water pipe is blocked, than to stir up a smoky atmosphere.

Everyone must know that this is called being steadfast in heart. When I read this passage of scripture, I felt that my heart was connected to David's heart. I am very clear in my heart that even if I am the only one left, I can still rub devils on the ground. Because I do not rely on people, but on my God. My God will make us victorious and prosperous. Our God sits on the high throne and will be satisfied to see us serving so faithfully. God's Spirit will be with me. Wherever I go, no matter what kind of situation I encounter, God will make me victorious. God's angels and heavenly hosts will fight for me in front of me. A person with this mentality will not be controlled.

I often say to my brothers and sisters: If you are willing to follow me, then study hard. If you are not willing to study, then get as far away as you can. Although these words are harsh, I also want to tell you that as long as you are willing to study hard, I will definitely serve you well. There will never be a situation where you are willing to follow me and I will kick you away. The sky will not fall if David loses 200 people. Even if I am the only one left, God can still make me victorious, because victory in battle depends on God. Everyone has confidence in their hearts after listening, right? Do not take yourself seriously again.

A few days ago, someone sought me out to pray for their child, treating me like a Bodhisattva, bowing and worshipping. Where would I get such abilities? I know I am not capable, but our God is absolutely capable. If one possesses faith like the Canaanite woman – willing to seek Him even if called a dog – many problems can be resolved. When I heard a torrent of sour words from his mouth, I knew my decision not to serve him was correct. Brothers and sisters, you must know that only God can grant us victory.

God's Wonderful Provision

They found an Egyptian in the field and brought him to David. They gave him water to drink and a piece of fig cake and two cakes of raisins. He ate and was revived, for he had not eaten any food or drunk any water for three days and three nights. David asked him, “To whom do you belong, and where do you come from?” He said, “I am an Egyptian, the slave of an Amalekite. My master abandoned me when I became ill three days ago.” (1 Samuel 30:11-13)

At this time, David faced a great predicament: not knowing which direction to pursue the Amalekites. However, because David's heart was steadfast, God had prepared a guide for him three days prior – a sick Amalekite slave. David didn't find this person suddenly on that day; rather, the slave had been abandoned there three days earlier due to illness.

In David's generation, people thought as they do now: if someone is sick, lest they infect the entire army, they isolate him. David happened to pass by with his four hundred men and encountered him. This was all God's wonderful provision. The slave had not eaten or drunk for three days and three nights; after eating the food David gave him, he recovered. When David asked, he discovered that this man could lead them to the Amalekites. God is a God of provision!

Now, I operate with this logic, knowing that God will provide. For example, when our colleagues encounter technical roadblocks, I tell them not to worry, God will provide, put it aside and don't rush. My most common saying is, Don't rush. No matter who it is, I tell them, Don't rush, because rushing is useless; getting sick from the stress is even more troublesome.

God will surely provide, because there is a steadfast heart here, someone like David who relies on God. Brothers and sisters, do not be afraid; God will surely provide! Time and again, I have verified this statement. Every time a problem is resolved, it is through God's wonderful provision. It is said that the Amalekite slave later led David and his men through a shortcut, like finding a Starlink navigation system, and they quickly caught up with the Amalekites because David had a steadfast heart.

Brothers and sisters, do not be wavering in heart, for a wavering heart often loses God's provision. Even if God has prepared someone, your lack of steadfastness will prevent you from seeing him even when you pass by; or, when you see him, he may already be lifeless, rendering him useless. Be a steadfast person, so steadfast that even if you are the only one left, you will still be a faithful servant of God, never compromising. God will provide for you as He did for David.

Imagine even if you were given ten thousand radishes to chop, it would take you a while. How much more to annihilate tens of thousands of people? For this young man to lead David and his men to the Amalekites, every step had to be perfectly timed, one wrong step and the whole plan would fail. If David's group had been surrounded by the Amalekites upon arrival, and all four hundred men had been annihilated, wouldn't God's provision have been in vain?

God Hands the Enemy into David's Hand

God handed the enemy into David's hand, truly beyond human imagination. Four hundred people chopping forty thousand radishes means each person has to chop one hundred. Four hundred people beheading forty thousand people, radishes don't run away, but people's heads will dodge. Even chopping forty thousand radishes would take a while, let alone beheading forty thousand people. It's hard to imagine how God handed the enemy into David's hand, unless the enemies were all stunned when David arrived, and David easily beheaded them with a swift stroke.

However, we must understand that if the four hundred soldiers led by David were not steadfast in heart, this battle could not have been fought. In fact, the two hundred who refused to come along were not just tired, but also fearful. These fearful people who stayed behind would still receive their share of the spoils, as long as they didn't cause trouble. Because David trusted in God, God handed the enemy into his hand, which was related to his steadfast heart.

Why did these four hundred people follow David without hesitation? Because David constantly imparted faith to them. Have you noticed that my favorite thing to do is to share faith with everyone? When I lead prayers, many people's fatigue and fear gradually disappear, and they become energetic because I deeply know how important it is to build up everyone's faith. Whether you run a business or serve as a professional manager, building up people's faith is important when building a team. If people don't have confidence in you, the team will fall apart completely. However, to build up people's faith, you must first have faith yourself. Those who lack faith cannot help others build faith.

Everyone must know how important faith is. For example, we need to build our children's faith when raising them. Shepherding can also be applied to business management. Many people in companies play the role of pastors because they impart vision and build faith within the enterprise. Businesses often encounter crises. Ren Zhengfei of Huawei often imparts faith and vision to his team. This is what a leader should do. Faith can move God's arm, draw forth God's power, and allow God to hand the enemy into your hand.

A Steadfast Heart is Needed When Distributing Spoils

David already had the good habit of having a steadfast heart. After the battle, when dividing the spoils, some people held different opinions.

But all the evil and worthless men among David’s followers said, “Because they did not go out with us, we will not share with them any of the plunder we have recovered. However, each man may take his wife and children and go.” (1 Samuel 30:22)

Steadfastness of heart is needed not only during battle but also when distributing spoils. Those who fought thought they won the victory on their own, but it had little to do with them. Everyone must recognize that God handed the enemy into their hand; it was God who gave them the victory. For example, if you are a salesperson and God allows you to close a deal, it is wrong to think it is your own merit.

Our team is good because we do not distribute based on our own merit, but based on God's grace. People must be steadfast in heart. Hearing the suggestions of these evil and worthless men, if you are not steadfast in heart, you will act like King Saul and follow their advice. People are not steadfast in heart because they don't know that victory comes from God, and it has nothing to do with human ability. Some people have offered to help me build a church, but I think these people should help themselves first. I don't need their help; I only need God. For these people, they think the church can't function without people, but for me, it's fine without people. One person is full, and the whole family is not hungry. If no one comes, there is no need to shepherd them. I have plenty of time to kneel down and pray and seek God.

So, whether there are people or not, it doesn't matter; it's all God's grace. We must also rely on God's grace when distributing spoils. Speaking of this, I can't help but lament what a great temptation this is! If you manage a company according to this logic, the company will not collapse. Because we operate according to our logic, not according to performance, but according to common prosperity. I have already practiced it, and the conclusion is that it definitely works. Our logic is not just how David managed the nation of Israel – the nation was wealthy and prosperous, receiving God's great grace. Managing a business is the same. The biggest problem with businesses today is not worrying about scarcity, but worrying about inequality, meaning not being afraid of having less, but being afraid of unequal distribution. This time you do more, next time you do less, and it's difficult to equalize.

If we are very wealthy, and there is plenty of money, as long as God opens the windows of heaven and pours out abundance, everyone will become non-lacking. We should not try to make a fuss about distribution but should instead focus on opening the windows of heaven and pouring down God's blessings. Because this place is not a closed system, but an open system, because it is connected to the source of heavenly blessing. If people only rely on money, they can't be steadfast in heart, and that is not the way. There is a term called closed system, and another term called open system. The world that Christians live in is an open system, and resources are unlimited. God wants to pour out His resources into us, because people have steadfast faith.

If this place is a closed system, it is fixed money and wealth. For example, if there are only one hundred tons of gold in the world, if you take ten tons, there are ninety tons left. If others take another ten tons, there are only eighty tons left. If someone takes more, someone else will take less, because the total is constant. This is called a closed system. It is a tragedy for Christians to have a closed-minded way of thinking. We must connect our lives with God and pour the resources from God into us. This is wonderful beyond compare. I have personally experienced many things, and you may not believe them when you hear them, but you should know that my experiences can't be fully told even if I told you every day.

David said, “No, my brothers, you must not do that with what the Lord has given us. He has protected us and delivered into our hands the band of raiders that came against us. Who will listen to what you say? The share of the man who stayed with the supplies is to be the same as that of him who went down to the battle. All will share alike.” David made this a statute and ordinance for Israel from that day to this. (1 Samuel 30:23-25)

David established a system, making this a statute and ordinance, from that day until the generation of the person who wrote 1 Samuel. Whoever wants to go to battle can go; whoever doesn't want to go can stay behind, but after the victory, all the spoils will be divided equally, no one will lack. Whether you go to battle or not, whether you work more or less, the amount you receive is the same. This is God's logic because we have too much.

You may not understand that those who work in the morning enter at eight o'clock and work all day and get one dollar's wages. Some people enter at five o'clock in the evening and work for one hour and also get one dollar, because working itself is a reward and an enjoyment. Working is grace, not a disadvantage. Imagine the people working in the vineyard. If they want to eat grapes, they just pick a bunch and eat it, but those who wander around on the streets get bored after wandering around a few times. If you work enthusiastically in the garden, don't think you are at a disadvantage; life will not collapse. This is a logical system (see Matthew 20:1-16). I will write this theory into a practical and effective business management theory book that can allow you to pour down heavenly blessings at once.

A person who is too stingy cannot bear blessings. Their heart is like a peanut, and their head is like a walnut. No matter how many blessings you pour down on them, they will all flow away. A person with no capacity is useless and can only live by the sword in the end. We must boldly give and boldly do things, not caring too much about whether you sleep one second more or one minute less. We must know that even distributing spoils requires a steadfast heart. Without this steadfast logical system, you can't do this.

Giving Away Spoils as Gifts Also Requires a Steadfast Heart

When David arrived in Ziklag, he sent some of the plunder to the elders of Judah, who were his friends, saying, “Here is a gift for you from the plunder taken from the Lord’s enemies.” He sent it to those who were in Bethel, Ramoth Negev and Jattir; to those in Aroer, Siphmoth, Eshtemoa and to those in Racal, in the towns of the Jerahmeelites and in the towns of the Kenites; to those in Hormah, Bor Ashan, Athach and to those in Hebron, and to all the other places where David and his men had roamed. (1 Samuel 30:26-31)

David's trust in God requires a steadfast heart. But how can you be steadfast? By giving generously, because there are plenty of heavenly resources. David often went to these places, and they had all treated David with hospitality. This time he made money. Not only did he get his property back, but he also took the property of the Amalekites. David gave it away generously, because they had plenty, and there would be more in the future. This improved the relationship between them.

If an Israeli king only knows how to amass wealth, exploit the people, and be obsessed with money, who will follow him? After a while, people won't play with you anymore. David did this to pave the way for him to become the king of Israel in the future, establishing a very good image among the people. We all know that wealth gathers people but disperses them, and wealth disperses people but gathers them. I wish that brothers and sisters would have such a mind and be able to bear the blessings poured down from heaven. God pours down blessings and it depends on whether your capacity can bear these blessings. Even the words like great virtue carries great things passed down from the ancients mean this, but people don't believe it or seek it.

Those who don't know God can still understand such profound truth; do we who know God need to be stingy? I have seen many stingy pastors who give away the gifts they receive to others, because they know that people are more important than money, and they want to keep people without giving themselves, so they can only do this, unwilling to spend their own money to buy gifts for others. Some people value money very much and are stingy with me. I think that they don't know that I am more valuable than money. Sometimes I joke with my colleagues: What is money? I am money. Those brothers and sisters who have been blessed by God and received grace here, you really owe me a favor.

Do you want to be a person after God's own heart? If you want to, I encourage you to start trusting in God, be steadfast in heart, and be a king and priest after God's own heart, serving with the attitude of a priest. In fact, I still owe everyone. Although I just said that you owe me a favor, that is just to say it. I know in my heart that I owe everyone a gospel debt. I hope that everyone can be with me in God's kingdom, fully experiencing the benefits that God has prepared for us in eternity. I get excited whenever I think about it. I think that everyone who comes among us can be shaped into a steadfast person, a person who no longer lacks in heart. This is wonderful beyond compare!

There was a pastor I knew who was very poor, so I gave him all the offerings I received locally. Later, I still thought he was very poor, so I gave him two thousand yuan in the name of the church, but he didn't learn my logic. This pastor only knew how to be stingy, and as a result, he blocked the channel of God's blessing. This is a reminder for us to fear God! Everyone should follow me to constantly expand our minds and horizons, and improve our realms and understanding. In our understanding, be filled with the knowledge of God, know that God has abundant grace and mercy, and know that there is nothing lacking in God's kingdom.

I wish that brothers and sisters could all experience such wonderful things, and not be the evil and worthless men in God's eyes. Don't think that all the people who followed David were good people. David didn't argue with them, and David gave them the share they deserved. I hope that God will do the work of expansion in each of us, so that we can all become a people after God's own heart, faithful priests, steadfast in heart because of trusting in God.

May God bless everyone!
