I. Introduction

Good morning! Today, I will share with you a very important topic, “God Makes Mankind Toil.” This is not my own saying, but the Bible's. It is normal if you toil, for God makes mankind toil. This toil is a kind of control! So today, we continue with “Freedom from Control!” If you are toiling, it is because you are controlled by toil. Therefore, today's fifth session of Freedom from Control mainly addresses the control of Mammon. It is harder for a rich man to enter the Kingdom of God than for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle! Money controls people severely! As soon as you hear it is real gold and silver, trouble! No one thinks real gold and silver are worthless; everyone knows they are valuable. Isn’t it so? But the problem is that real gold and silver also truly control people!

One day, my mother came back from outside and showed me a big ring she had picked up. I took a look and said, Where is the ring on your finger? She said, I gave it away. I asked, What happened? She said, I picked up a big ring on the road, and a young man came over and said he would split it half. But when my mother saw such a big ring, she thought it a pity to give it to him. So the swindler said, ‘Give me the ring on your finger, and I'll give you that big ring.' When she got home, she saw it was copper; she had given away the gold ring I bought for her. Money controls people severely, and I rarely see a swindler giving you a gold ring and taking a copper ring home. Isn't it so? If my mother exchanged a small copper ring for a big copper ring, then my mother would have the advantage.

So money controls people severely! It is harder for a poor man to enter the Kingdom of God than for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle. I have biblical basis: Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob were all rich men, and it was as difficult for them to enter the Kingdom of God as for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle. What about the poor? The needle's eye is even smaller, so the poor are controlled by money even more severely today. That is why God makes mankind toil; the root of toil is money. Only the rich have the qualification to love money; the poor do not even have the qualification to love money! Isn't it bitter? Who loves money more? The poor! Who has a deeper control of Mammon? Both are quite deep.

It is truly bitter for people to live in this world! God makes mankind toil. The poor are bitter, and the rich are also bitter, all because of money. Is that the case? Entrepreneurs, though successful, and make money, are bitter at heart. I rarely see successful people who are joyful at heart, very bitter, bitter at heart. There is a saying: Doing evil in this life, starting a business in the next. It shows that one did too much evil in the previous life, so one comes to start a business in this life. What about those without money? I don't know. They desperately start businesses, and are even more bitter at heart, drilling into the eyes of money. Do you all know about private ownership? Do you know where private ownership comes from? Private ownership comes from God. Private property is sacred and inviolable; this is what later people said. But actually, it is what the Bible says, sacred and inviolable. But this indeed digs a huge pit for people, making them toil for the money, thinking that the money is their own, so they must manage it well. If the money is someone else's, they would not manage it well, isn't it so? Making people live under control.

How many people has private ownership harmed? Actually, after you die, who does this money belong to? No one knows who it belongs to. Really, no one knows. Some say it belongs to my son, but it only works if your son has the ability to manage it! If he does not have that ability to manage it, it will become a disaster. So to say, how many people can see through this matter! So, is there a relationship between God making mankind toil and this private ownership? There is a relationship! When we used to eat from the big pot, how happily we ate, without doing work properly, everyone was lazy. Why? Because it was public ownership, what I did was not for me, so the country became poorer and poorer. Even the foreman wanted to be lazy; how could the people below not be lazy? This is God's doing. Private ownership and God making mankind toil are closely related, so now most people toil for money; this is God's doing. But the purpose of today's sermon is to release everyone from toil, not to tell you that God makes you toil. God wants to release you from toil; this is God's purpose. Everyone is seeking God for this purpose, right? Hoping to come and be blessed, and if blessed, life will be better, and if life is better, then you will be qualified to love money. Trouble, then you will be controlled again.

I have liked to observe since I was young. Why have I believed in the spiritual realm since I was young? Because I observed a phenomenon in my own home since I was young. My parents were both very hardworking people, and they were also very clever when they were hardworking. My parents were not stupid, toiling all their lives. Then did they become rich when I was born? Strange? They became rich after I was born. It had little to do with whether they were clever or not. Later, the family became poor after my younger brother was born; that was bizarre! Hey, it was still my parents, still the same cleverness, and the same hard work. Then how did they become poor? How did they become rich? It is impossible to explain clearly. Maybe there is a time for wealth and a time for poverty. I don't think it was because they were more hardworking; it has nothing to do with hard work. It seems that everything has its time. After desperately working, and working, they became rich, thinking it had to do with desperately working. After desperately working, and working, they became poor.

Many of us are in this situation, desperately working, but owing six hundred thousand in debt. I don't quite understand why people work so hard, it is better to lay down their work on the Lord's Day and worship God together. Working, and working, they become poor; working, and working, they become rich. You say what does poverty and wealth have to do with working? It seems to have little relationship. I discovered a secret; it has nothing to do with your desperately working. Learning is also like this. Some people study, oh, so diligently. They lie on the table so diligently, and keep learning after they wake up, and then lie on the table to continue learning. When I was in school, I was not like this. When I was in school, I learned very elegantly. Those who desperately want to learn well, want to do well in school, their grades still can't go up. Where can you reason with that? Those who learn elegantly, they have no problem, they study very well, they get ahead in the exams, making people angry.

When my mother went to parent-teacher conferences, people would ask, How do you train your child? My mother said, Hey, child, don't study, rest. Making other people's mothers very angry! Oh, making people dumbfounded! So to say, what benefit is there in this world's toil? What benefit is there in toiling at work? What benefit is there in toiling in school? This is a very good question, what benefit is there? If you don't ask this question, it is bad, you will think there is benefit in toil, and fall into toil, thinking that toil will bring money. That is not necessarily true! Actually, there is no benefit at all, listen to my advice, it is just living in pain. Then I understood, God chose me to be a preacher; how well God made me! I thank God. Then you might say, How did God make me badly? Isn't it to make me well so I can teach you? Don't be dazed by toil, and lose all the blessings, then you will become Esau! I often pull people out, exhausting me!

There is a sister among us who had worked in Singapore for many years, without saving any money. But she knew me, thankfully she knew me. Since she knew me, I have wanted to change her every day, because she was toiling at work, very hard. Last year she changed a little. Why? Her anus leaked. Think about it, when the anus leaks, that thing can't be stopped, the stool comes straight out. Some people leak urine, some people leak stool, then isn't it over? Can earning money solve this problem? Leaking money bag is also fatal, leaking buttocks is also fatal, leaking anything is quite fatal. If a person leaks in their lifetime, then isn't it fatal! Then finally, there was an opportunity to tell her not to love the world anymore, hey, she got a little better, and then God healed her anal fistula.

Recently, she had a great improvement in her understanding, and she shared this with me. She said, Teacher, I suddenly wanted to do an experiment. She used to be a store manager, with a daily store turnover of three hundred thousand. She was busy with the store every day, managing this and that, jumping around, exhausted and sweating every day. So she did an experiment and found that it seemed to have no great relationship with my busyness. Then later, I did another experiment. I didn’t care about anything, sitting there thinking about how to do that part well. As a result, the turnover was still three hundred thousand a day.” I said, “It didn't have anything to do with you in the first place, you thought it was what you did, but actually, it had nothing to do with you.

Do you all know about doing business? Some people say this: location, location, location. It means doing business is location, location, location. Do you understand? There is a hawker in Singapore selling fish ball noodles. Oh my, there is a long queue at his fish ball noodle stall. My goodness, he thought his fish ball noodles were the best fish ball noodles in Singapore, so the landlord wanted to increase his rent. He said, My fish ball noodles are so good, I can still do it even without your shop. As a result, when he changed the location, no one queued up. It had nothing to do with the fish ball noodles he made, do you understand? So, it has nothing to do with your own toil or your jumping around.

Actually, I find that the world can live without anyone. Why do you want to toil? There is no need to toil! Everything has its time; it is God's doing. It won't add anything or subtract anything because you desperately work. If it doesn't have anything to do with your busyness, then what are you busy with? I am wondering what are you busy with? What are you doing nervously, jumping around? What benefit is there? Can you come out from here, start seeking God, pleasing God, because everything is under His control.

There is a sister among us who is quite interesting. She works at the Singapore Academy of Science. She also did an experiment. She would leave work right after work and come to the church to do service. At that time, when our church was in person, the brothers and sisters were always very enthusiastic. One day, she suddenly worked an extra half hour, then after a while, it increased to an hour, and after another time, it increased to two hours. However, the work did not yield any results. Suddenly, she woke up: What am I doing? Then she returned to the original point, leaving work right after work, without delaying anything. Strange, right? Moreover, after working overtime, she didn't create anything. So, today, our brothers and sisters have actually proven one thing: It has nothing to do with busyness. Originally, God made mankind toil, letting mankind experience extremely heavy toil in this world. This is in order for people to say, It seems to have nothing to do with me. Does it have a relationship? You slowly ponder and do some experiments yourselves. We should let people seek, explore, and understand what benefit this has. There is no benefit, only harm! Eventually, cancer and such...

One generation passes away, and another generation comes, busy and busy, and all things are wearisome. The eye is not satisfied with seeing, nor the ear filled with hearing. Falling into toil is God's arrangement, for the sake of letting people perish on this earth. Is that so? For the sake of letting people perish, and being able to find the root of despair in perishing. When you are despairing, seeing all things are wearisome, oh, is there an answer? How can I be released from this toil? Oh, seek eternal life! Many people do not seek eternal life, if you are powerful, it is fine. Just buy a house, but buying a house becomes a debt, what benefit is there? Remember to get out of toil! Do not think that these are all things you did, but debt is definitely what you produced. Do you understand? Work is not busy toil; work is God's grace. Joy in work is God's gift. God gives wisdom, knowledge, and joy to whomever He pleases. Only to the sinner does God give heavy toil to experience; that is his portion. Do you still want to toil? If you still want to toil, that is man's part.

A sister said some time ago that she couldn't come to the meetings. I asked her what was wrong. She said, Busy. Because there is a mother with Alzheimer's at home, and taking care of a mother with Alzheimer's is no joke. I originally wanted to teach her how to take care of a mother with Alzheimer's, but she didn't want to learn. It is very tragic when a person's heart is not prospering. As a result, she continued to be busy, busy until her husband was hospitalized again. She had to take care of her mother with Alzheimer's on one side and take care of her hospitalized husband on the other side, really hard! Later, she thought it over and over and came to the answer. She said to me, Teacher, I can't participate in the meetings. I said, Okay, okay, if this is how you save time, then great, try it out. She is doing an experiment, hoping to have an experimental result one day. What benefit is there in toil? There is no benefit, it is all fate! If you want to do that, then do it.

There is another sister who wants to divorce, wants to divorce, but doesn't want to divorce. As a result, suddenly, her husband had a cerebral infarction. You say what a thing this is, she has to take care of a husband with a cerebral infarction. Oh my, this toil, it is really hard now! Originally, her plan was to hope that her husband with a cerebral infarction would take care of her, but this thing was reversed. Heaven is really powerful, whatever you think of comes true, and you are trapped, toiling, right? Today, when I was leading prayer, a sister was quite interesting, her stomach hurt. I said, Why doesn't it hurt a little more! Why? She was despairing yesterday. Can you not despair when you have hope in this world? Why? Her child took the high school entrance exam and was six points short of a key high school, and she thought it was over, there was no future. The child buzzes around like a mosquito or fly, the speed is so fast, the child is very tired, but he is six points short of a key high school. If she were also buzzing around like this, and she got a million in debt.

How can you live this life? Now her stomach hurts again. If she were to get this stroke or that stroke. Oh my, this life is too miserable! Fate! Do you want to get out? If you don't want to get out, then just toil with a good heart, this is man's fate. So when people think of life in this world, their heads get bigger! Today, I will tell you how to get out, please God, and seek eternal life. Live in a higher spiritual dimension in God's spiritual realm, then you can return to this world, dimensionality-reduce strike life, and dimensionality-reduce strike toil. How about that? This idea is called dimensionality reduction. We are at a higher dimension. Today, we raise ourselves to the height of God's throne to look down, looking at this small earth. Multitudes of living beings, thousands of troops and horses, all roads lead to hell. That is the thousands of troops and horses running madly, one generation passes away, and one generation toils. Another generation comes, the constant cycle of toil, and then perishing. So people are really strange. In the past few years, I have seen so many such examples with my own eyes. Oh my, I exclaimed!

Why does our church have so many prayer meetings, so many Bible studies, so much time? Because this is the result of my experiment. At first, our church was just meeting on Sundays. Later, we found that it didn't work to just meet on Sundays. After the Sunday meeting, we had prayer, and after prayer, we had classes. Oh my, that was truly Sunday, truly a whole day. The church was full from morning to night. They later said, This is truly called Sunday, nothing is delayed! Later, we found that Bible study on Friday was not enough, so we added another wave on Wednesday, that is the situation today. Later, I was afraid, and I said, Brothers and sisters, don't delay your schooling!

Later, I was afraid, and I said, Brothers and sisters, don't delay your schooling! They said, Teacher, it's not delayed. I said, Don't delay your job promotions! Teacher, it's not delayed. Later, there was another prayer meeting on Tuesday, don't delay, not delayed. I was a little dazed, very interesting. Why not delayed? Because the time was used for scrolling through Douyin, right? Very interesting, a few of our leaders come to the church right after work, solving my loneliness problem. I said, You come right after work, doesn't the boss have any objections? It's okay. I said, Did you come today? He said, Yes, our boss took the other employees to sing karaoke, I didn't go, not busy. Later, I found that they are all unbusy in their jobs, leaving right after work. Very interesting, their salaries also increased, and then they came to serve in the church. Oh my goodness, what happened? Nothing happened, very interesting.

These things make us feel very emotional! Whose doing is this? God's doing. Actually, if you have the courage, if you really have the faith and courage, you don't need to be busy. Get out of toil, nothing good will be lacking, do you understand? Don't be like some people, oh, so tired. Be released from the toil of operation, live for God for a lifetime, and no longer toil for money. Be joyful for a lifetime, and be effective for eternity for a lifetime! Is that so?

Some time ago, I was summarizing these things from the past, very miraculous. There is a sister among us who went to interview for a job at the Singapore Academy of Science. She was still telling me yesterday about her job search, she answered the questions randomly! Rambling nonsense, and was eventually hired. What happened? I don't know, just the boss found you pleasing, that's how it is. When I used to hire people, I hired whoever I found pleasing, actually it was just a feeling, very interesting, right? We have another sister who is even more interesting. When she was being interviewed, people asked her: What are your hobbies? My hobby is to love to pray.

I ask you, can you find a job with such an interview? Then the interviewer brought out Along the River During the Qingming Festival and asked: Which dynasty is this from? The Qing Dynasty. Why not the Ming Dynasty? Because there is Qing (clear), and there is Ming (bright), both Qing and Ming. After she answered, the interviewer laughed so hard that he leaned back and forth. What happened? She found the job. Why? Because she brought a lot of laughter to the interviewer. God! Is that so? It is very divine; it is really impossible if God wants him to like you. We have many such things among us; what can be summarized? It has nothing to do with what you do right or wrong, and it has nothing to do with your busy toil. Everything is God's doing.

II. Scripture

Read today's scripture. Actually, the sermon has already been preached, and what follows is academic discussion. Come, scripture, Ecclesiastes chapter 3, verses 9 to 11.

What profit has the worker from that in which he labors? I have seen the God-given task with which the sons of men are to be occupied. He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end. (Ecclesiastes 3:9-11 NKJV)

Wow! This sentence is good! Especially enlightening. Let's pray together. Hopefully, everyone will know after reading that it has nothing to do with whether I am busy or not, and will stop being busy from now on.

III. Prayer

Let us pray together: God, I want to be released from toil! God, give me the wisdom to seek eternal life, to seek You! Let me be able to know You more. God, today You put eternity in my heart, I thank You! Let me be able to understand through Ecclesiastes that my toil on this earth is of no benefit. Originally, You made all things, letting us go through these trials in toil, and the intention is to let us seek You. Let us be able to tear down all the dreams of this world, remove the hopes of this world, and let our hope be solely in You! God, save us from this toil, release us, break off the control of Mammon from us, and let us obtain freedom! Let us know that we lack nothing good in this world when we trust in You! God, let us be able to rejoice in our work, not for money, but to glorify You! God, I want to set apart my time and my life to You. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen!

IV. Scripture Background

Ecclesiastes shook me like no other. Many years ago, many people told me that Ecclesiastes was too negative because it said vanity of vanities. But I tell you, when I first believed in the Lord, I thought Ecclesiastes was well written. But how was it good? After studying it for so many years, I finally understood a bit today. Ecclesiastes is a paper that Solomon wrote in his old age. What did he discuss? He summarized his hard work and toil throughout his life, so in the first chapter of Ecclesiastes, he said:

The words of the Preacher, the son of David, king in Jerusalem. “Vanity of vanities,” says the Preacher; “Vanity of vanities, all is vanity.”(Ecclesiastes 1:1-2 NKJV)

Coming up, he stated the topic directly. Then verse 3:

What profit has a man from all his labor In which he toils under the sun?(Ecclesiastes 1:3 NKJV)

The question is, what is the benefit? Actually, there is no benefit. So, the Book of Ecclesiastes is actually discussing that man's labor in this world is of no benefit. If you think there is some benefit, then you are ability-based. It doesn't have much to do with what you do, does it? So, this matter, this preacher is in the first to third chapters of Ecclesiastes. Isn't this talking about the background of the scripture? This preacher, Solomon, said:

>One generation passes away, and another generation comes; But the earth abides forever. The sun also rises, and the sun goes down, And hastens to the place where it arose. The wind goes toward the south, And turns around to the north; The wind whirls about continually, And comes again on its circuit. All the rivers run into the sea, Yet the sea is not full; To the place from which the rivers come, There they return again. (Ecclesiastes 1:4-7 NKJV)

After reading it, everything is wearisome, isn't it? Why? The preacher, after reading it, said that one generation passes away and another generation comes, one generation dies and another generation comes. Actually, I tell you, Abraham was greatly shocked when he saw his brother, Lot's father, die. Why? Because when Abraham saw his brother die, I guess Abraham and Lot's father, the two brothers, must have had a very good relationship. Otherwise, why would he take in Lot? Isn't it? Dead, gone. I ask you, have you seen a dead person? Gone, one day you will be gone too, one day I will be gone too, what does it have to do with us? But the earth abides forever, it has nothing to do with us. Isn't it? You bought a house with a permanent land title, who will it belong to when you die? Don't know. It doesn't matter. Alas, I am filled with emotion, what is the benefit of this preacher? Isn't it?

Then he saw the second thing: the eye is not satisfied with seeing, nor the ear filled with hearing. Ah, the eight famous scenic spots, isn't it? Isn't there a Chinese saying: After returning from the Five Great Mountains, you don't look at other mountains; after returning from Huangshan, you don't look at other peaks. This matter is: the ear is not satisfied with hearing, the eye is not satisfied with seeing. Then you will find that on earth, there are just these things. What is the benefit of people seeing and doing things in this world? Actually, there is no benefit. Then this preacher said again, he said:

>There is no remembrance of former things, Nor will there be any remembrance of things that are to come By those who will come after. (Ecclesiastes 1:11 NKJV)

It's gone when it's gone! Isn't that the case? I ask you, do you remember? No time, so much hard work, where is the time to remember the dead? Don't even mention it, there was really a person who came to me. He asked me if I could help him write a program. I asked what kind of program. He said to write a Facebook. I said there is already Facebook. He said no, I want to make a Facebook for the dead. I said even the Facebook for the living is not necessarily well managed, who will manage the Facebook for the dead. Interesting, isn't it? Very interesting. Wow! Looking at it, a dead person sends you a message, scary! Who will update the status? A ghost will update it? I said no one remembers this matter. He wants to remember. As a result, after investigating, this project is not feasible. The dead don't spend money either, so who will do it if they don't spend money? Later, the preacher said again, there are many things in the world

>What is crooked cannot be straightened, And what is lacking cannot be numbered. (Ecclesiastes 1:15 NKJV)

There are many injustices in this world! There are many, many things in this world that make people confused. You see one thing, how can this thing happen to him, he is a good person. You look at him and don't understand, the sins he committed in his previous life. Just can't figure it out. What is lacking cannot be numbered, what to do? It has nothing to do with your labor, alas! Guqiu Guqiu, Guqiu has hundreds of thousands of debts, Ji Guqiu has six hundred million debts. Just like that! Preachers have to observe these things. Later, this preacher observed again:

>I know that whatever God does, It shall be forever. Nothing can be added to it, And nothing taken from it. God does it, that men should fear before Him. (Ecclesiastes 3:14 NKJV)

It has nothing to do with your busy work. Alas, I do this, I help God, and as a result, I am cursed. **Don't ever come to help God today! Whoever helps God, God curses him.** Do you understand? Because I am a person who likes to observe. After observing, I found that this preacher is pretty good! Alas, why is this preacher so miserable? Because he always wants to help God. **God doesn't need our help, God's works cannot be added to or subtracted from.** It's not because you did something wrong, don't be neurotic. I often see people doing something wrong: Ah, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm wrong, I'm guilty, I deserve to die. It doesn't matter if one more dies or one less dies, it doesn't matter if one more is wrong or one less is wrong. It doesn't matter! **The whole world is God's work.** Isn't it?

Later, after observing again, people are just like beasts, right? Wild dogs fight desperately for a bone, biting each other, pinching each other. Lions and tigers are very tired, very hard, people are just like beasts. After watching it all, what did they discover again? **Everything has its time, it has nothing to do with your hard work.** Then you say what are you busy with? Everything has its season, a time to be born and a time to die. Isn't there someone who eats health products, thinking that eating health products can prolong life? That's pure nonsense, that's just people wanting to earn your money. Isn't it? Very miserable, then a time to kill and a time to heal; a time to tear down and a time to build; a time to weep and a time to laugh; a time to mourn and a time to dance, anyway, it's just these things. Didn't someone get stabbed to death while dancing in the square? Mingding Destiny, so we have no way to control these things.

There is a video that is scary, a woman holding a child, leading a child, and then crossing the zebra crossing. A female driver came over and knocked them all away, all dead. A while ago, a highway bridge collapsed, and recently another bridge collapsed, and many people died again. Things in this world are like this, you have to know. Yesterday you were still toiling, stressed, and complaining, today it's gone! Gone! Can't even vomit if you want to. What kind of conclusion can be drawn? No conclusion can be drawn, it is despair. **If you don't come to a conclusion of despair, you will not seek eternal life.** Isn't it? Then what can people in this world gain from all their labor? You created something, you leave this world and become dust, who will it be left to, who will get it you don't know! Isn't it? The Forbidden City, who got it? Don't know. The person who built it also doesn't know who got it. Alas, this world, just like that, chaotic.

Then let's look again, what can be gained from this labor? Worrying day and night, labor becoming sorrow, even the heart is uneasy at night. Is there? Alas, this project, that project, this investment, that investment, can't sleep, got depression. Didn't someone buy a house and give themselves depression? Isn't it? After buying depression, they came to us. They came to the right place, this place is to solve this. What is the meaning?

Later I found that people, **God has put eternity in their hearts, yet they cannot fathom the work that God has done from beginning to end.** Why? You look from the ground up, can you see through it? You have to look down from above to see through it! **So if you stand from God's perspective, you can see through it at a glance.** If you stand from a human perspective, you see it in a fog, dizzy, isn't it? Very miserable in the end. So today I think, the preacher observed a very important conclusion, so he wrote this conclusion in the Book of Ecclesiastes, so the fifth point: The root of labor is the love of money!

## V. The Root of Labor is the Love of Money

When have you ever seen someone who will work hard if you don't give him money? Rarely. Probably people in mental hospitals will work hard, because they are all crazy, they don't know anything anymore. So private ownership is a huge pit. Why? Because that money is your money, so you manage it well, operate it well. Because it's private, it's mine. **Actually, private ownership is a lie.** Is that money really yours? The most powerful thing about a country's leader is that he has grasped people's selfishness and implemented a household contract responsibility system. Another leader of this country opposes private ownership, why? Because private ownership pushes people into the eyes of money. These are two kinds of thoughts, but neither can solve the problem.

No one works in public ownership. So today, why do people work hard? Love money! You will definitely not earn the money is mine, you are working hard there. When I was in charge of people at work, I said: Work hard! The employee said: Boss, why should I work hard? If you don't work hard, where will I get the money? Finished, even less hard work. Do you understand? Because people are all for themselves, so selfish! Then I have to learn from other powerful leaders! You have to work hard! Why should you work hard? If you work hard, you will have a lot of money in the future! Oh, then I will work hard. You say this matter, alas, very interesting, so labor comes from this.

**Because private ownership is a pit, it deceives people into the eyes of money.** Isn't it? **Actually, when there is little money, it is yours, when there is more money, it is everyone's, when there is even more money, it is the country's,** it doesn't have much to do with you. Is what I said true? When there is little money, it is in your pocket, when there is more money, it is for everyone, when there is too much money, it is the country's. You toss and turn, toss and turn, and then what? Tossing and turning doesn't do anything. **So, the root of labor is the love of money, the love of money is vanity of vanities.** So this is the essence. **Let's not love money anymore, let's not labor anymore. Live like a human being, can you live like a person! Like a person with the image of God!**

Labor is doing the work of cattle and horses, isn't it? How hard! If you don't love money, will you work hard desperately? Money can make the devil turn the mill, but actually you are turning the mill yourself, turning it around and finding that you are turning the mill for the devil yourself. Giving money to turn the mill, labor, hard work. And the problem is that you don't even know if you will have money after working hard! Some people work hard, wow, they owe six hundred million; some people work hard, they earn six hundred million; some people work hard, they earn one trillion; some people work hard, they owe one trillion! Hey! The things in this world are endless.

## VI. Everything in the World is Vanity

Today, brothers and sisters must know, for example, if you die tomorrow, who will your labor go to? No one, you can't take it away, it will all go to those people. Sometimes we are very emotional, a while ago there was a sister among us, her father suddenly passed away. He was a university professor, very rich, suddenly passed away, later found that what is the benefit? Actually, a lifetime of labor was given to someone who was not very related to him. That is, his mother gave birth to him, your mother gave birth to you, the two are not very related, and then they got married, and then they were together. Then you labor for a lifetime and it becomes his, very boring, really very boring! Isn't it? What is the benefit of labor? But thank God, he was very happy when he was alive, that is good, people can see through it.

So the foundation is very important, today if everything in the world is vanity, what to do? You need to seek eternal life. Why? You think you have to spend money even if you don't love money in this world, you have to pay water bills and phone bills, you can't say you won't pay because you don't love money. If you don't pay, people will sue you in court and send you a summons. So today we have to know it is vanity, if it is vanity, you still have to do these things? Then what to do? If people want to come out of labor, they need to seek eternal life.

## VII. People Need to Seek Eternal Life

Why is this so? God puts eternity in the hearts of people, and after people experience the toil and sorrow, they know that it is meaningless, so they have to seek a way to solve this problem. Why did I believe in the Lord? It is because of this. Because I felt that what is the meaning of living? There is no meaning! I will go find God, maybe I can find it, it is not too late to die if I can't find it. After seeking, I found that without eternal life, everything is vanity, there is no benefit. So experiencing extreme labor in this world is to completely destroy this worldly dream, and then seek eternal life. Originally, it was also put in our hearts by God, this is closely related to God blessing or not blessing, and eternal life.

Whether you understand it or not, you have to know that living is vanity. If you haven't reached this stage, take your time. That is, you haven't labored enough, you haven't suffered enough. After suffering enough, you will know that living is not very meaningful, people need to seek eternal life to live. If you say you don't care much about eternal life, you don't need it very much, but seeking eternal life is closely related to God blessing or not blessing people. Because if people don't seek eternal life, in God's eyes they are just like beasts, you also see yourself as a beast, isn't it? So seeking eternal life is wanting to live out the image of God, living in this life is all curses, even health products can't protect you. People often put their hope for health on health products, is it useful? No use.

## VIII. This is Abraham's Blessed Path

Abraham is very powerful, he opened up a blessed path. Why did he open up a blessed path? Actually, Abraham was very rich, but later found that having money is not very meaningful. Because his brother, Lot's father, died, Abraham cried his heart out, and found that even having money could not save his brother's life. He began to say in his heart, what is the meaning of people living in labor? Since there is no meaning in labor, what should people do in their labor in this world? No, I must seek the way of eternal life. In this search, God spoke to him, and what God said to him was too good. He said I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse those who curse you, isn't Abraham powerful? Isn't it? I will bless you; I will make your name great; I will make your descendants a great nation, these words are so good, everyone who hears them feels good!

Actually, what Abraham walked was the first to third chapters of Ecclesiastes, and then he gained wisdom and intelligence, and lacked nothing in his life. When have you ever seen Abraham busy? No, Abraham is never busy. Even when his wife was taken away, he wasn't neurotic, amazing? Very amazing. Because he knows that God controls everything, he knows that what is crooked cannot be straightened, and what is lacking cannot be numbered. Later, after Abraham saw Sodom destroyed, it was destroyed. He didn't say it was too bad, God, why are you so cruel? He didn't say it, because he knew it was God's work. Later, Abraham's blessed path went back and forth, and he became a person who drew on God's promises. So later, only those born from Isaac are Abraham's descendants, and all those born from God's promises through faith are Abraham's descendants.

Today, you live by God's promises, not by your labor; you don't live by the swords in your hands; not by your ability, do you understand? You go to the interview not by your ability, but by God giving you an opportunity. Do you feel better today? If faith rises, you will feel better. How many people are willing to walk Abraham's blessed path? If a person wants to walk this path, they walk the path of faith, because faith can draw on God's promises!

## IX. Released from Labor

Today, there are two paths before us, one is to rely on God to walk Abraham's blessed path. Living by God's promises, through faith we become children of God, and we lack nothing good in our lives. We still go to train employees, we still go to shepherd the flock, and we still eat and drink, but we have joy inside. We have hope in eternity inside, money can no longer control us; we no longer believe in our ability; we no longer believe in our labor; and we no longer believe in our few skills. These are all proven by our practice, don't waste time on them anymore, it's useless.

If you waste too much time, you may create debts, and if you create debts, you will waste time on them to pay them off, you will be Luo Yonghao. In this generation, we must come out of labor, we must walk Abraham's path. Today, are you walking Esau's path or Jacob's path? Esau's path looks good, but it is cursed, and you are in labor all your life. Walking the path of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, we walk by faith, no matter what we encounter, we don't have to panic, don't worry, and don't be afraid. Because we no longer live in this world, we live in eternity, and we live at such a height in the spiritual world.

## X. Rejoice in Labor

If you are for money, you cannot rejoice, because you find that there is no meaning in getting money, and it is extremely painful not to get money. If you rejoice in labor, you will know that work is a grace, and we will immediately change our thinking mode inside us. It looks like we are all eating, drinking, and working on the outside; it looks like you are shepherding sheep and I am shepherding sheep; it looks like you are eating and drinking and I am eating and drinking, but the essence is very different. One is living in a lie for money, the other is living in God's grace by relying on God. This is given to me by God, I rely on God to do whatever I can, I rely on the wisdom given to me by God, I rely on the grace given to me by God to work. It is not labor that solves the problem, it is God who is with you that solves the problem, only God's presence can solve the problem. Amen!

## XI. Summary

I think today is another heavy blow to Mammon, hoping to KO this Mammon, and also KO this labor. From now on, living in God's grace and no longer laboring, this is the key! May God do this wonderful work in our brothers and sisters, so that we may be released, become a people full of God's image, and become children of God.

Originally, we have spent a lot of time, and the time spent is not enough, why? Because this world is too bad, it often deprives us of the joy inside us, and deprives us of the blessings from God. We need more of God's presence, we need more and more of God's presence. Don't think that it is a prayer arranged by the church, it is arranged by yourself for yourself. Uncomfortable, pray more, it doesn't delay anything, more of God's presence.
