【Bible Study】2 Corinthians 08 - Offering is both Grace and a Test!

2024-07-31 17,175 2 Corinthians

Alright, let us turn to 2 Corinthians, Chapter 8. While the verses of 2 Corinthians, Chapter 8 are not fully presented here, the theme is quite clear. The theme I have identified is: Giving is both Grace and a Test.

1. Paul's Collection for the Jerusalem Church

Have you heard me say bad things about the Jerusalem church? If you often hear me say bad things about the Jerusalem church, well, that is not quite the case. I am merely conveying to you the reality of how the Jerusalem church, how they have run the church. Actually, the Jerusalem church went back and forth, squabbling until they were utterly poor. So, the first point is about Paul collecting for the Jerusalem church. What is the relationship between the Jerusalem church and Paul? It is Paul's mother church. Do you understand? In other words, Paul is very clear that the churches he established were derived, word for word, from the Jerusalem church.

No matter how corrupt the Jerusalem church becomes, it is still his mother church. This is where Paul is remarkable. If we were to operate at our level, or perhaps at my level, doing so might be a bit difficult, wouldn't it? Look at what you have done to the church; I have not even criticised you, yet I am donating money to you. You have run the church into utter poverty; I would likely say something like: How did you manage things back then, only to end up like this now? Therefore, you might occasionally hear me being somewhat harsh in my criticisms of the Jerusalem church. Actually, I tell you, I simply do not want everyone to fall into the same state as the Jerusalem church.

How did the Jerusalem church fall into this state? How did it become exceedingly impoverished? It was by having the church's brothers and sisters sell all their possessions and then come to the church to eat. I ask you, what can sustain such a practice? Not working, but gathering daily to break bread, isn't it so? Gathering to break bread. I think, what kind of church is this? It would be strange if such a church were not poor. It is bound to be poor. They are not doing proper work.

So, Paul actually completely disagreed with the Jerusalem church's theological system. And the Corinthian church's failings were inextricably linked to the Jerusalem church. That is to say, why would Paul still contribute and not discern good from evil for them? This makes us quite puzzled, doesn't it?

I tell you, Paul was a Jew. Paul, being a Jew, deeply understood God's intentions. Do you know to what extent he understood God's intentions? He said, I would rather be separated from the Lord if it meant that my own people, my fellow Jews, could recognise Jesus Christ as Lord. Sadly, did Paul, carrying these donations along with Titus and another brother, manage to transport these donations to Jerusalem? It was because of this matter that Paul was arrested. And for the sake of this donation, upon arriving in Jerusalem to donate, he was arrested, imprisoned, and later transferred to Rome.

Where is the justice in this? Yet, in Paul's words, there was not a hint of resentment or complaint. He deeply understood that Jesus Christ was a Jew, that Jesus Christ came from the Jews. We Gentile churches are merely wild vines. The true roots are Abraham, the Hebrews, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. But today, we are able to receive this grace, is it not because Jesus Christ was Jewish?

We are but wild vines, grafted onto this vine, and thus we have received this grace. Therefore, Paul deeply recognised the will of God. Do you know that God wanted to destroy the Israelites and raise up Moses and his descendants? But actually, I tell you, Moses was very powerful at that time. Moses adopted an attitude similar to Paul's, saying, Separate me from the Lord, and blot out my name. I tell you, this is a spirit of devotion, a spirit of dedication to God, completely devoid of self, completely devoid of selfish motives.

I tell you, Christians are very selfish. Why are Christians very selfish? Everything is based on selfish reasoning. Why believe in the Lord? Because I can go to heaven after I die. As if you were fit to go! Why give offerings? Because through offerings, I can receive blessings. Why serve? Because through service, God can give me more grace.

Is it true? Yes, it is true, but the motivation is too base.

Therefore, whether the Jerusalem church is right or wrong is not our concern. It is, in itself, a test. I tell you, as Christians in this world, we encounter tests on every level. Are you truly someone who does not discern good from evil? Are you truly able to recognise God and truly understand His will? I am not worried about meeting Peter in the future, whether in heaven or in the spiritual realm. I am not worried about that. What am I worried about? Upon meeting him, he might even be a bit embarrassed.

2. Is the Corinthian Church Willing to Give?

Today, we must know that the Jerusalem church is so poor. Why? Because Paul deeply desires that the Jerusalem church might receive the theological system that he inherited from Jesus Christ. It is a treasure. Therefore, Paul is doing such things, proclaiming it everywhere. Actually, this matter, this project, has been underway for over a year. The problem is that Paul wrote 2 Corinthians, Chapter 8, only after their relationship was barely mended, and then he brought up the matter of giving. So, I ask you, is the Corinthian church willing to give?

Everyone, tell me. If they were willing to give, there would be no need for so much preamble. Right? If they were willing to give, would there be a need to write this? Paul heard that there were many criticisms among the Corinthians. This caused Paul much heartache. Why collect offerings to give to Jerusalem? If the money passes through his hands, who knows how much will actually be sent to Jerusalem? Might he skim off half for himself? Isn't it so?

I tell you, if one has a petty mind, one will surely measure Paul's heart with pettiness. The Corinthian church was unwilling to give. If they were willing to give, this passage would not have been written. Therefore, Paul said that the Corinthians were very carnal. But Paul enlightened them. I tell you, this affinity, this affinity is wonderful. Once or twice, you might hear me say, Wow, you are truly a person who loves the Lord. Is that really the case? Have the brothers and sisters heard me say these words? Ah, you are truly someone destined from birth.

Is that really the case? If it were, I would not say it. Isn't it so? Why say this? It is simply that I hope you can become a person of destiny. I hope you can be someone who loves God. So, if I praise you, you know whether I am scolding you, whether I am belittling you. Sometimes, it is very helpless. Isn't it so? Very helpless. What can you say? The attitude that the Corinthian church exhibited was truly a terrible attitude.

So, after all is said and done, there is indeed a Ge You among the Corinthians: If I had a hundred million, I would give it. Because they do not have a hundred million, they enjoy talking emptily, firing blanks. This is the nature of the Corinthians. Therefore, in pastoring and serving, you must make independent judgments. It requires much learning. So, I tell you, as a preacher, one must often choose in faith, choose to believe in you, to believe that you are destined. Do you understand? The Corinthian church was not very willing to give.

3. Using the Churches of Macedonia to Encourage the Corinthians

Did you think Paul was lacking in the Corinthians' offerings? No, he was not. But why did he use these Macedonians to compare with them? To incite rivalry, to encourage comparison. How much did you give? I gave a hundred million. I gave two hundred million. How much did you give? You gave two million; I'll give three million. Did you think it was an auction? No. Paul felt very helpless about this, using the churches of Macedonia to encourage the Corinthians. If you hear me talking about a certain brother or sister, and then saying how they are, it is to encourage you, learned from Paul. Look at the people who use the Macedonian church as an example. I will read it to you.

And now, brothers and sisters, we want you to know about the grace that God has given the Macedonian churches. In the midst of a very severe trial, their overflowing joy and their extreme poverty welled up in rich generosity. (2 Corinthians 8:1-2)

Brothers and sisters, I want to tell you about the grace that God has given to the Macedonian churches. Do you think that is a loss? That is grace. What grace? It means that they have great joy despite the great trials they are facing. Why are they facing great trials? How are they satisfied? So satisfied. They are showing out, in extreme poverty, great kindness by giving.

Today, we only donate when we have money; the Macedonians donate even when they have no money. Tell me, where did you get you money when there is none? Where did you get it? This is grace, this is grace. So what did the Macedonians experience? Experienced grace. If I finish talking today, and you finished listening and then you do not have grace. Teacher, why do I not have it? Why did the Macedonians have it? There is none. How did the Macedonians do it? The Macedonians were willing. Are you trying to test God? Because it is completely something else.

If a person does not give willingly, does not know that giving is grace. Is something going to go wrong? Like you are paying tips to God?

Hey, bring me a plate, bring me a plate of fried kuey teow, why is it so slow? After the waiter finishes the service, the waiter wipes the table and says everything is clean. Boom! A two dollor tip. Can you treat God this way? No way.

So what did the Macedonians say?

For I testify that they gave as much as they were able, and even beyond their ability. Entirely on their own, they urgently pleaded with us for the privilege of sharing in this service to the saints. (2 Corinthians 8:3-4)

I ask you, what is the relationship between Macedonia and Jerusalem? Do not know, we really do not know, what the relationship between the Macedonian church and Jerusalem have, no business. But they are willing to have a share in this grace, yes? Let people share this grace.

Corinthian church, did you not receive Peter? Is that right? Received Peter, maybe also received James, also received Apollos, and also received many. You seem to have a good relationship with the Macedonian church. How can you be in such state when you are at the donation ceremony, have to bring the Macedonians out! Tell you, using the Macedonians church to push the Corinthians is a helpless move. Because Paul really wants the Corinthians to get this. I will tell you this not because of others, just that you can get the benefits of the gospel. If we believe in the Lord, believe in a selfish Christian, do not even think, the curse is thicker than other people. Is this right?

What are we doing? Is this correct? Does God really lack this little bit of money? God does not lack this amount of money. Why does God do this? Just trying to test you. One of the reasons why Jerusalem became poor is that God is testing you and Paul.

What did the Macedonians say? They said, Following God's will, give themselves over to God, and then give donations. Only donate after you offer yourself to God! You all have to know that I do not thank people if they do donations, who I am to thank you? I did not even accept it. If you secretly gave me a packet, if I thank you, it is called bribery. Does Paul need money? No! Does God need this amount of money? No!

There was a man, Jacob, who went to the church and the temple, and prayed for seven hours. Can't afford a meal a day, can't afford two meals a day, have to fast for three days? What kind of fasting is this?

Brothers and sisters we have to understand God. Which things does God give to you? How can your church be in that state? The state of the Corinthians. It proved an event. Donations are grace! The people from Macedonia proves it, so how does proving the Macedonians a grace? I will say something that might stimulate you now! Do the Christian in Macedonia has only known about donation and it is a grace? No! They have long known that donation is grace.

Paul offered a extra donation to Jerusalem, not the tenth, that it is a extra donation to Jerusalem. As a result, the Macedonians say: I need to be a part of it. Do you think it is a loss? Do you want to invest in this company? When it loses 100 million, I also lose 100 million with the company? This Macedonians is not the first day they know donations are grace, but I can only tell you the people who is willing to do donations, all know that it is a grace!

This event start from here: Once, there was a widow, an old lady, who put all of her last two coins into the alms chest. I asked her, what would she eat? What would she drink. There are many people who research the bible, and can't research as thoroughly as me. There are many people that say that God is too cruel.

I say you are brain damaged! You thought about donating these two coins only when you were eighty years old, and then you go home to fast and pray for about eighty days. Fasting and praying for eighty days is just chronic suicide. No! She did this when she was forty years old.

I have to tell you, if it is a woman who loves God deeply, then she is the type to bring bad luck to her husband, well, do not be afraid, maybe God will remember you for the sake of remembering your husband. If I told you that the woman looks like Ruth, if she crushes several, also Therum, these are all crush their husband.

She holds a child that is only two months old, how to live? Say it, how to live? Ah? Offer the two coins, in the alms box. Lived one more day today, the other day will always be two coins. Do the same thing again? Third day; yes, the method that God uses have too many way to let her put it in. What is it like when she is sixty years old? Follows the same thing. So how old is she after?

Twenty years old trembles trembles, because her heart goes up and down. Isn't, dies if she dies! In anyway, this is the two coins, if she dies she dies.

Today brothers and sisters, you have to know, Macedonia, is like here. I tell you if it is someone really willing to donate. One time when I believed in the Lord, I trembled with the donation. I almost did not donate. When it comes to mind, wow, that is to show and tell everyone, it is a piece of you. Really almost let a part of.

First and before everything else, I came to the teaching class, the older teacher was teaching me on the stage about what to do, about donating. This day, I did not listen properly to any of the things that he said, to give it all to God! When I walk one step at a time, I decided to donate everything. Because, the salary is only about a thousand or so, even if you bite the bullet donate one hundred or so. So what do you give now? A hundred or so is really not something big.

Donations are a grace from God. Tell us again that Paul has this extra donation given to Jerusalem. You thought that you would lose out.

I tell you to do it and it is completely your free will. I will say one thing when it comes to donation that is a blessing. I ask you that these people in church, when they donate do they known the meaning of donating. Do they know it is a grace? Today slowly deliberate, those people who knowingly give, are donations from God. This event, since when do you know you will donate? There was a widow and last two coins. If you don't donate, what does she eat and drink? Did God just start being good to this widow? No!
Those brothers and sisters that donate, the same is for these widows!

Because of our God and the faith. The donations and grace from God. It is important to give it with a happy heart. The offering of the God.

In the end and eventually, I tell you a person cannot be selfish. Therefore, these are all donating people, with this the Macedonian people have offered donations to God.

4. Giving is Grace

The thing you have to know. People are not going to thank you! The Corinthians have been helped so so much too? They are also people.

Does God really thank her? No. If one day you can be selfish with yourself. No! God will not bless you and come back on you!

Therefore, what you have to know. Did you know that giving is grace and now I ask you it is donating money? What do you donate, make sure that you donate. Tell that a donating donater, it really bad. If everyone one do donations and donation is from God. Be in shock donation, donations are like you are cutting off a piece of you. Did you almost donate?

One day I was in teaching lessons and almost became a christianity. In the end and eventually, the class I didn't listen at all to learn anything! Painfully, donations for donations and donations! Went halfway and I really don't know anything! Just give it! You have to donate with a open heart in order to see, and in and out donate with it. I tell you during that year, I received so many wealth that comes back again. It is a reward for God. Therefore, everything donating is form God!

Let me tell you, the colleague who received the award with me later, we were both promoted step by step, eventually becoming senior management in higher education institutions. This offering is truly grace. Isn't it? If I were Paul, and there was such a good thing, would I not tell you? If there were such a good thing, sisters, sisters, there's a great thing, brothers, brothers, hurry, hurry, this great thing. When I see their expression, I know, you're not qualified yet. Isn't it? I have to say they're not qualified. So they don't know. So what did Paul say about doing this? It was for the benefit of the Corinthians.

Giving my judgment in this matter; for this is profitable for you, who a year ago started not only to do this, but also to desire it. (2 Corinthians 8:10)

If it's not beneficial to you, I won't do it. This is Paul. Today, I must also tell you, would I do something that's not beneficial to you? I wouldn't. Do I need what I'm begging for, acting like I'm benefiting? Do I need it? I don't need it. Do I need your offering? I don't need it. So for the benefit of the Corinthians, you see, offering is grace. Paul makes this very clear.

For if the readiness is there, it is acceptable according to what a person has, not according to what he does not have. (2 Corinthians 8:12)

Offering is grace, a willing offering is acceptable. You are willing, not unwilling. Today, after I finish speaking, maybe you'll feel like when I went home after class. It's not that you decided to get baptized, but baptism requires tithing. Oh my goodness, talking about money is tough, people are poor. But now still, now if you ask me in my life, the wisest decision I've made is tithing. I really don't want to live a poor life. I really don't want to live a poor life. You want to live a poor life?

When I was discussing ministry with some colleague leaders, he said a preacher came to study with us. In my heart, I felt a bit uneasy. Why? Because many preachers have something strange in their bones. I've seen plenty of preachers in debt. So if you're a preacher in debt, I must give a reminder, to our pastors and colleagues, a reminder. If the core isn't clean, you can't solve the attitude problem to money first. We haven't talked about giving your life to God yet, have we? Then you say I want to give my life to God, but when they really want your life, you run away. Because he really has that one life he treasurers. I want to give an offering, I want to have 100 million, then I'll give an offering, but he really doesn't have that 100 million. Isn't it?

I ask you, do you think Paul faced the same situation with the church in Jerusalem? The same situation. So offering is grace, a willing offering is acceptable. I have to say, I have to thank God, God has made me a wealthy person, a wealthy preacher. Not because of anything else, it’s because I gave a willing offering. From the first day I made a decision and tasted the sweetness for a lifetime. The amount of offering is not small. It’s a lot and lot and lot of money. But why? Because this is grace. A willing offering is acceptable. Why not acceptable? Can anyone be pleased if you give God a tip? Don't ever do that.

Dropping two coins for a waiter is not grace. So people need to know what grace is. Offering should be according to what he has, not according to what he does not have. People are very strange, do you know? If, if it happens, it goes wrong. If he has one hundred million, then he’ll give offering, in fact he doesn’t have 100 million. Paul was being quite sarcastic when he wrote this sentence. If he had heard Ge You's joke that year, he would have written: If I had 100 million, I would definitely give an offering. As a result, people saw that he had a car and asked him if he had offered the car? He said no, I only have one car.

This is the situation with the Corinthians. Paul said that offering should be according to what he has, not according to what he does not have. Because if it is based on what he does not have , you have to add if, isn’t it? If it is based on all he has, there is no need for if. Oh, after the Corinthians read this, let me tell you, they were so ashamed. Isn’t it? Paul said, don't talk about those useless things. If you had one hundred million, do you have it today? No, let's not talk about that. How much money do you have today? I have one hundred. Okay, then let’s talk about how much of this hundred you give for offering, isn't it?

Add if and it will be troublesome. So about this matter, Paul poked holes one by one in the hearts of these Corinthians. Oh, they wanted to dig a hole, jump in and bury themselves, wanting not to hear, not to hear, not to hear. Is there? Ah, let me tell you, why don't preachers dare to talk about offering in church today? Because they think talking about offering is embarrassing. Then you say that talking about offering is embarrassing, and you are afraid that talking about offering will cause people to run away. Can that be called building a church? Today, there are still some people who are half-believing among us. Let me tell you, if you are unemployed today, if your company goes bankrupt today, if Dongshi closes down, and you have no income.

You have to reflect on yourself, reflect on what kind of person you are in your bones. Brothers and sisters, if there are dirty thoughts in our bones, there is no need to act them out, God examines people's hearts. Like our Chinese Mingding Destiny, or a pastor like me who dares to speak so frankly, there are not many, are there? Isn't it? Today, we really have to reflect on whether we are people who love money, whether we are controlled by Mammon, people who are deceived by Mammon's lies. Are we really willing to offer ourselves to God? Really willing to offer to God? Is it? Then are you really willing to offer money to God? Are you really willing to offer to God, then what about your time? We really have to reflect.

I can tell you everyone, this is grace, brothers and sisters, I really don't want you to suffer losses, isn't it? The company is going to close down, right? Yes? How come you can't do anything right? Why don't you have God's grace? If you have God's grace, even if you are not too smart, you can still do it. I have seen many people; their brains are not very good, but they still love God. They live well, don’t they? Really willing to give offering, it is really grace. So in this Paul urging the Corinthians on this matter, he described this matter of grace very clearly. What did he say?

As it is written: “The one who had much did not have too much, and the one who had little did not have too little.” (2 Corinthians 8:15)

Can you understand? In Exodus, people are foolish is that they are foolish on this matter. These people collected manna, oh, I have to collect more. Look at this person’s heart. Some people, oh, no need, just collect a little bit. The result was that those who collected more did not have any left over; they ate it all and it was gone. Those who collected less did not lack anything; they ate and were full, and did not lack anything. How miraculous! Isn't it? It is so magical.

As a result, some people collected two portions and left it until the next day, and it was already full of worms. And they were starving. Why? Oh, if God doesn't send it down tomorrow, won't we go hungry? I'll collect two portions. He thought he was very smart, but what happened? He was harmed by his own unbelief. God criticized these Israelites, You unbelieving and rebellious generation, how long will I be with you? Why don't you believe that God will provide every day? If God provides every day, why should we collect an extra portion? Isn't it?

Today, brothers and sisters, never rely on money that has no power. Rely on God today. This is great grace, because money can't buy health. I have really seen many people who have money but no health, and they live very uncomfortably. The one who had much did not have too much, and the one who had little did not have too little, because only God's grace can truly satisfy us. Okay? I think everyone should know that offering is God’s grace. Not just two copper coins, or two dollars, right? Two silver dollars, not copper coins, or two Bitcoins, how about it? Two Bitcoins is a lot. How much is one Bitcoin worth? More than seven thousand U.S. dollars huh. More than seven thousand U.S. dollars. Oh my god, the one who had much did not have too much, and the one who had little did not have too little. This is God's law.

Why? Because God wants people to have faith in God, not in money. Otherwise, if everything goes smoothly for you, many sorrows will be added to you. Is this grace? This is grace. Then what about the Corinthians? The Corinthians still need to receive Paul's opinion so that he can tell them, explaining that this is beneficial to you. I think people don’t know how awesome God is. If people really knew how awesome God is, they would know that giving is offering is grace. I will say it again even today. When I decided to give offering, that was the most intelligent decision I have made in my life.

I am moved when it comes to offering, I am addicted. Later, a certain pastor organized a trip to Israel, and I got excited and gave offering. After giving offering, infact that time it was not 100. It was ten thousands. That ten thousands Singapore dollar is 50 thousands RMB. Later I realise that the money I have give for offering. The pastor looking like Jesus but his bone is very bad. Oh, I recognised him. I sit beside him in the plain went to Israel. Oh my god, when my nose problem happened, he got very annoyed with me, I coughed. The nose bleeding all over. Oh, it so noisy to him that he cannot sleep, he hated me and don't help me to pray.

Later than I knew that he is the speaker. I said oh my god , it is so stumbling. Oh .my offering is use for inviting him. Hairs! Hair! Hair! Hair. Later, thanks God I don't fall down. So every time I don't lack

Today I have to tell everyone my opinion, the one who has much is not too much, the one who has little is not too little.

In the past these years, I have really experienced this; that all the needs of the church are met in God. God gives us supply not only of money, but also talent. What kind of people we need, God supplies you with that kind of person, saving us a lot of money. Today we blessed a lot of people, we kept giving out. Today we as brothers and sisters must know that this is a giving church. A giving that trains people for offering.

Do you know when those started the church, the church brothers and sisters have problem in finding a job. Have problem in renting house, the church train people for selfish. I prepare the meal and give them to eat, and teach the brother and sister selfish. Later I changed the logic to get a bottle of water, I use 20 cant to sell. and you pay 1 dollar I use 20 cant to get the water and sell to you at 1 dollar. What is my logic? My logic is to teach people for offering. Finally what? Renting house no problem, finding a job no problem, life no problem. Praise the lord. The salary no problem

Training people to give offering, so am I not letting you to get problem by telling you

5: Offering is also testing people's love

Do you have a heart of love for God? Yes. But I don't offer. What do you think of this love? Do you have a heart of love for God? Yes, but I don't have time. So what do you have time to do? I have time to chat. I tell you, offering, whether it is money or time, is actually offering one’s life. If people love God, they will offer their lives to God, which is holy.

Whatever belongs to God, belongs to Jehovah, is holy. Do you understand? It belongs to Jehovah and is holy. Today, you and I must engrave a word on our foreheads, which is Holiness to Jehovah. Not because of what you have done, but because you have offered yourself to God. But the problem comes. How do you know you have offered yourself to God? How do you know? Look at the offering. You can tell by people's attitude toward money. People's attitude toward money is very important. People either love money or love God. If you love God, you no longer love money. If you love money, you cannot love God. Do you all understand now?

Where is the love of the Corinthians? With faith, Paul told the Corinthians, I believe you love God. If you really love God, would Paul need to write so much?
I tell you, don't trust people easily, especially those who have not been tested. If you are in love and see a boy showing you extreme love, would you really believe it? If you really believe it, you may be deceived. You need to verify his sincerity yourself. After you try, you will know whether his feelings are real or fake.
Imagine if he said he loved you and was willing to spend 200,000 yuan for you, would you really believe it? Many times, such love is not real.

In today's society, true love is hard to find. Have the people around you really found true love? I tell you, one try will tell. The problem is, the other person is also a person, how does he prove his love for you? Liars are the easiest to say sweet lies, using their mouths to weave all kinds of sweet words, without taking any responsibility or paying a penny. Therefore, when facing interpersonal relationships, especially emotional issues, we must be more cautious and must pass the test of practical actions and time to distinguish between true and false feelings.

Finally, I tell you, everyone must have some understanding of this. How do you understand it? You must know that people are very self-loving. Why does he want to marry you? Because it is for himself; why does she want to marry you? Because it is for herself. What do you think if two selfish people together? They will say, teachers, actually I am not sure how it works at the beginning. Actually he or she is not sure because he or she want to get advantage from the opposite. Actually, I am not sure how could I marry him. Actually did not happen. Then how does it become not sure? Because later prove it is not what I want, then could not became is not sure at the beginning. What is this actually happened? Later I am not sure how to have baby. Actually happening is become that. Therefore. You give it a give.

Of course, the relationship between man and God is also tested. The relationship between man and God is whether you can withstand the test given by God. If you read the story of Abraham in Genesis chapters 12 to 26, God tested Abraham again and again, and after each test, Abraham persevered. God said: I will surely bless you. You will possess the gate of your enemies, do you understand? All nations will be blessed through you, this is victory. Why? Because of testing. So be careful of people who have not been tested.

In fact, I often test people. After the test, sometimes I just give a gentle reminder, a light reminder. I told you my opinion, and then I see, ah, I understand. Then, there is no need to give more difficult problems. It means the small test has failed and cannot pass. So Paul tested people, and money is a thing that tests people. Money tests people greatly. Look, Paul received donations and prepared to send them to Jerusalem. Someone started saying, maybe it was really someone from Jerusalem who said it, I don't know, maybe. What did they say? Because we received many donations, people are picking on our faults.

In their hearts they are holding money, others are holding the lord. But People look at it and said there donation is so much. Definite that there is a fishy here inside. In that days the money it is gold and silver? In that era there are not so much cash.So people are picking? Seeing there are a lot of money.

Paul meet a big problem which he need to deliever the donation item to Jerusalem. If anything happen in the Middle way what will happen?

Oh Paul picked a Non favour man

Therefore to donate show love and kindness. To give out love and be tested

Hope to give and hope we get from god. We need the holy spirit with us. Bless all that
