I. Introduction

Good day to all! Today, I will be sharing on a topic, a slightly lengthy one, primarily because the scripture verse is rather long. The title is: These Forty Years, the Lord Your God Has Been With You; You Have Lacked Nothing! This theme today is particularly apt – you have lacked nothing! Following up from last week, where we paused on a segment, which wasn't about God's presence, this week we resume discussing God's presence, which is immensely precious. One must not squander the presence of God; some, especially Christians and those managing the temple, inadvertently lose God in the process. Then, when Jesus came, they even crucified Him. How did it come to this?

What people fear most in life is lack. When we were young, we saw Huang Shiren and Yang Bailao. Yang Bailao was so poor that even during the New Year, the song recounting his plight would bring tears to one's eyes. Yang Bailao, the old man, bought his child a red hair tie. Hence, what people fear most in life is lack, and the most dreaded form of lack is a poverty mentality – always feeling deficient; that is the poverty mentality. How wonderful it would be if one could know throughout life that one lacks nothing! To lack nothing at thirty, forty, or fifty years of age – that would be ideal! However, even today, many still rely on their parents for sustenance, which is a form of lack. Why? Because they do not have God's presence, but rather the presence of evil. People invite evil into their lives, and suffer for it, unable to turn their lives around. Therefore, one must never invite evil; one must invite God. Knowing the presence of God is a wonderful thing, yet many are unaware of it, immediately becoming anxious.

Some years ago, a couple suddenly approached me. You might ask: why would a couple seek you out? Is there a problem? If a couple seeks me out, there must be an issue. I noticed the husband's eyes were swollen from crying. I asked, What's wrong? He replied, I've been crying for a week. I said, Why didn't you come to me sooner? You've cried so much your eyes look like a panda's. I told him that turning himself into a large panda would not solve the problem because that is what a wimp does. Upon inquiring, I learned he was crying because his wife was pregnant, and he was about to become a father. I asked, Then why are you crying? He said, We don't have money. Both were very low-income earners and lacked money. I responded, Children are raised by Heaven. What does this mean? It means that a child comes into this world with sustenance. Many might point to examples where this is not the case, but I assure you, it is still heaven-provided. Upon hearing this, he became joyful, as the child has since grown up. Although the family is no longer among us, the child is still sustained by Heaven.

Therefore, my brothers and sisters, many worry about useless things. You should know that many things are incredibly miraculous. Some families raise two children in poverty, while others raise five in the same state, but life goes on. Not only are the Chinese raised by God, but even the lions and hyenas of the African savanna are sustained by God. How benevolent is God! Therefore, know that people are sustained by God, lacking nothing! The children grow up, and then they leave us. Why do they leave? Because they are unable to obtain Singapore permanent residency, as their applications are consistently rejected. Consequently, the children cannot come here and remain in their home country. As the children approach school age, concerns arise about their education, with the hope that they can study here. But God can sustain you anywhere. When people do not realize they are sustained by God, they constantly worry about this and that, leading to hardship.

Take, for example, senile dementia. How does one get it? I tell you, when you see the elderly counting money, know that disaster is imminent. They will soon become confused and die. Have you observed this? If you have, you know I speak the truth. Why do they count money? Because they feel they do not have enough money to live on. See how wicked the devil is? It deceives people. As they count, they lose their minds and become muddled. Recently, an elderly person who counted money died, and before that, another. We often find that people's worries are unnecessary. Worrying will not prolong your life by a single moment, and not worrying will not shorten it by a single moment. When the time comes, there is a time to be born and a time to die. So, I have discovered an interesting phenomenon. Have you noticed it? Ponder it.

Someone came to me and said, Pastor, I owe six million. I asked, What happened? He said, I can't pay it back. I said, Then don't pay it. If you owe people money, why are you anxious? You borrowed their money, so they should be the ones worried. He said, That's true. I am quite good at comforting people. Did he make it through? Yes, he did. I asked, How are you still alive? He was still alive. After some time, he came to me again and said, Pastor, I can't pay back the money again. I asked, How much do you owe now? He said, Three million. I said, Wow, it went from six million to three million, so why are you worried? You've already paid back three million, so just slowly pay back the remaining three million. What's the rush? And so it went.

See, he went from owing six million to owing three million, and he is still alive. He hasn't died yet, so what's the rush? After some time, I saw him again and said, You're still alive? He asked, What do you mean? I said, You haven't been beaten to death by debt collectors? He was still alive. They didn't dare beat him to death, because if they did, where would they get the money? If he is alive, there is still a chance to get the money, but if he is dead, there is no chance at all. It is very interesting. Everyone is alive, so what's the rush? Ponder it carefully.

These forty years, the Lord your God has been with you; you have lacked nothing! People really discovered this interesting phenomenon. Later, I found that he owed six million and then three million. Why was he always short of money? Because he always tried to desperately grab money, always thinking he didn't have enough, always thinking he would need more in the future, and so he was deceived. He was cheated of three hundred thousand here, two hundred thousand there, and then one million. Add it all up, and it was six million. Now, slowly pay it back. Why do people desperately grab money? Because they feel lacking. In fact, you feel you are lacking even when you are not, so you become lacking and are deceived.

I have recently developed a deeper understanding of the Old Horse. Why have I informed everyone that there is a great victory coming? My understanding of the Old Horse has deepened. Everything related to living in this life, the physical, the worldly, is under the Old Horse's management. That is to say, every aspect of our lives is closely related to the Old Horse. Like senile dementia from counting money, why count money? Because one feels it is not enough, and one falls into the territory of the Old Horse, and is subsequently turned into a senile dementia patient by the Old Horse. These things are deeply rooted in our minds. They are too deep, and may not be completely eradicated, but you must gradually remove them. Slowly ponder, everything related to living is related to the Old Horse.

A few days ago, a sister had a fever, but she didn't say anything. Perhaps she didn't have much faith in me, because if she contacted me, I would say, Old Horse. She thought, Listening to him talk about the Old Horse is not as good as just taking some medicine myself. Do you all feel this way? Surely you think so too. In the end, she called me, burning up with a fever of forty degrees at night. I had to minister to her, so I prayed with her. As I prayed, a voice said, Old Horse. But I couldn't say that. If I did, she would think, See, I just seek his prayer, and he tells me about the Old Horse. I had to hold it back.

I asked, Are you thinking about things related to living, related to money? As soon as I said that, she said, Pastor, you're right. I have several hundred thousand, and I'm wondering who to give it to after I die. Ah, if people didn't have those several hundred thousand, they wouldn't have to think about such things. But having that money, she started thinking about who to give it to after death. Alas, she brought the Old Horse upon herself, and she developed a high fever and suffered. Did she figure things out? No, she didn't. How could she? So, what to do? Then there was prayer to reject it, and soon she was drenched in sweat, and the fever subsided. Although the root of the Old Horse was cut off, there are still many roots. My brothers and sisters, you must slowly ponder that which is worldly within you, that which is connected to living. It is all closely related to the Old Horse. Unknowingly, people live within the Old Horse's system.

In fact, people are sustained by God, but they do not know it. They think they sustain themselves, don't they? They all think they sustain themselves, but were you sustaining yourself? It is all God's doing. So they rely on the sword of their own hands to survive, and end up living under a curse, and they lose God's presence. The poor are sustained by Heaven, sustained by God; and the rich are also sustained by God. People with much money think, Ah, I have toiled my whole life. Who will I give all this to? They are troubled by it. Thinking about these things brings despair. The Book of Ecclesiastes says this. Solomon amassed many things, all valuable things, and he thought, Who will I give these to? Just thinking about it brought despair. Why? Because people fall into a worldly, logical system.

In fact, I tell you, I have come to understand a principle: busy as you are, doing this and that really doesn’t have much use. The only use is in the midst of busyness, in the labor, to enjoy labor alone, and that's it. Having this or that, busying around, really it is all vanity of vanities. But we still have to live realistically. It is a bit difficult, isn’t it? Still a bit difficult. Once you become too realistic, you fall into bondage again, and you no longer know to trust in God. So, when people do not know they are sustained by Heaven, sustained by God, things go awry. What is there to worry about? What is there to be anxious about? What can worrying accomplish? There is no need.

Today, everyone, try it out and see. Did you come to the assembly today? I say, You’re still alive. Didn’t you live from yesterday to today? Some lived to today with money, some lived to today without money, and some lived to today with debt. So, can you live to tomorrow? Then what are you worrying about? Don't bother with these things. Ah, what I say may not sound good, but it is the truth. Once people fall into the system of this life, the world, the flesh, they feel tired, tragic! When everything is for living, that is a tragedy. What I say requires slow contemplation.

The family a person is born into isn’t necessarily up to you. There was a sister whose parents were lazy and somewhat stupid, and they still wanted to make money. Bang! They ended up with a mountain of debt. This daughter was working away from home. Originally, she had worked in one place for ten years and had nothing to show for it. Later, we gave her some advice, telling her what to do. Ah, she was able to save some money. Just as she saved a little money, her parents poked a hole in it again. Her parents weren’t old. This child had to work three jobs, doing this and doing that, even serving dishes and clearing tables in restaurants. So hard! Today, they poke a small hole, and your serving dishes and clearing tables can help pay off the debt. But if they poke a big hole? Then just go move corpses because moving corpses earns more money than serving dishes and clearing tables. Some say, Pastor, you're scaring us with these words. Moving corpses really makes money. Putting makeup on corpses makes a lot of money. If you’re not afraid, earning money from the dead is easy.

There was another sister. Her parents used her identity card to borrow high-interest loans, borrowing hundreds of thousands. In the end, those hundreds of thousands were wasted, a bottomless pit. Ah, there are all kinds of parents in this world. They don't care about anything else; they just want to live for themselves. It is upsetting and troubling to see! That's why I often teach everyone not to help people pay off gambling debts, drug debts from drug addiction, or debts incurred from failed businesses. When you borrowed the money, didn't you know you had to pay it back? As adults, didn't you know there were risks? You knew. If you can't pay it back, you expect your children to pay it back for you? What were you doing back then? Today, you poke a small hole, and I help you pay it. Tomorrow, you poke a big hole, and I spend my whole life patching holes for you. If you lack food, drink, or clothing, then I will give it to you, and that’s it. Everyone should patch the holes they make themselves.

But many people are tightly bound by these family relationships; where is there time to love God? But I tell you, this itself reveals a problem. Why do people become like this? They live and lose God, lose God's presence. Once life gets better, trust in God? Serve God? What's that? They throw God aside. Still the same worldly logic system; they invite the devil in, and in the end, the result is the same—a vain life. Therefore, people must know God, must know that they lack nothing throughout life by relying on God, God constantly proving it to people.

You should know that God conducted an experiment in the Exodus of Israel. What experiment did God conduct? For forty years, these people did not plant or harvest; they just wandered in the wilderness for forty years, and they lacked nothing. Did they work on any projects? No. Did they make money? No. Then how did they lack nothing? Isn't it strange? Because God sustained them. Is it strange? I tell you, sometimes people simply do not know that God is sustaining them. Some scroll through Douyin all day long, and I scold them; some scroll through Douyin for a week, and I scold them; some scroll through Douyin for months, and I scold them. But think about it, even scrolling for months—aren't they still alive? It’s just a matter of living well or living poorly.

For forty years, the Israelites wandered around. How did they not lack anything? Because God sustained them. In fact, whatever we do in this world is just experiencing a test to see if we are loyal to God. If a person knows that God sustains them, would they be deceived of three hundred thousand, four hundred thousand, or one million? If you aren't deceived, can you lack today? Why are they deceived? Because they always feel it isn't enough, always think it is an opportunity, and then they truly lack.

Sometimes I have a strong sense of emptiness. You say, Pastor, you too? Hey! We are all human. How strong is it? So strong that I don't want to do anything. In the end, a day or two passes, and I lack nothing. It's good that I didn't want to do anything and wasn't deceived. If I had wanted to do something and had been deceived, things would be worse. Fortunately, I did nothing because I was empty and chaotic. Today, my brothers and sisters begin to know that God truly sustains you. From now on, write on your bedside: I am sustained by God! Won't that be easy?
Today, trust in God, quickly finish the path of this world, and live in His grace while living. Don't have hope in this world. Put your hope in God, in the glory of eternity God has prepared for us. I tell you, you will lack nothing in this life! Don't worry about what you’re worried about, don't fret about what you are fretting about, because God will surely cause you to lack nothing!

A few days ago, a sister lost her job. After losing her job, the money in her hand was quickly running out because she needed a lot of money each month. I said, What to do? Quickly find someone who does career planning to teach you how to do it. Then, before the money ran out, she found a job. I ask you, did she grow? She didn't grow much; her problems are still about the same as before. Then why did she find a job? Because God sustained her. Today, you must know why you should learn to give offerings. You are sustained by God, not that you should take that salary; it is God who gives you that salary. Never fall into the Old Horse’s logic system, the worries of this life.

The Israelites in the wilderness for forty years were not the generation that pleased God, but God still sustained them, causing them to lack nothing. How much more us, those who want to please God? The Israelites died in the wilderness, but God still sustained them until they died. What are you worrying about? Today, change the concepts within us, change the way we think, change the underlying logic within us—God is with us, and we will surely lack nothing! God is full of mercy and grace, and He will surely feed us. Amen! At this time, let’s declare together, I declare in the name of Jesus: God is with me, and I will surely lack nothing. Amen!

So rest assured. Today, if you plant well, you won't lack anything. If you plant poorly, you won't lack anything. How much can a person spend in a lifetime? Not much. After listening, do you feel a little better in your hearts? Yesterday, you just laid down for a day, and today, hearing this sermon, you're comforted. It's okay; you laid down, but aren’t you still living like this today? But, I tell you, you must live in God's will. What pressures people? Live on. Live. Quickly finish the path of this world!

II. Scripture

Then we turned, and took our journey into the wilderness by the way of the Red sea, as the Lord spake unto me: and we compassed mount Seir many days. And the Lord spake unto me, saying, Ye have compassed this mountain long enough: turn you northward. And command thou the people, saying, Ye are to pass through the coast of your brethren the children of Esau, which dwell in Seir; and they shall be afraid of you: take ye good heed unto yourselves therefore: Meddle not with them; for I will not give you of their land, no, not so much as a foot breadth; because I have given mount Seir unto Esau for a possession. Ye shall buy meat of them for money, that ye may eat; and ye shall also buy water of them for money, that ye may drink. For the Lord thy God hath blessed thee in all the works of thy hand: he knoweth thy walking through this great wilderness: these forty years the Lord thy God hath been with thee; thou hast lacked nothing. (Deuteronomy 2:1-7)

III. Prayer

God, today we come before You to declare that we will surely lack nothing! God, You want to be with us. God, have mercy on us and grant us grace. God, do not forsake us; may Your presence always be among us. God, cause us to lack nothing throughout our lives. God, may You change our minds and thoughts, change the underlying logic within us. Today, we lack nothing, not because of what we have done or have not done; today, we lack nothing because of You. God, today, we begin to become people who trust in You. In Jesus Christ’s name, we pray. Amen!

IV. Scripture Background

The thing I am speaking of today gives everyone an opportunity to lie down. After lying down, you say: The pastor said that God can sustain me. It's okay to lie down for a day; it doesn't matter, but don't lie down all the time. The Israelites were wandering in the wilderness; if you have nothing to do, go wander around. What is the background of this scripture? The Israelites left Egypt and ended up being trained in the wilderness. For more than a year, almost two years, what were they trained to do in the wilderness? Pitch tents, build the tabernacle. After building it, what great task did they accomplish? God said: Take it down, go! Then they packed up and left. After walking for a day or two, God said: Stop! What's the purpose? Pitch the tents. A few days after pitching them, God said: Take them down. Taking them down and pitching them, pitching them and taking them down. Ah, I wonder what kind of torture this is? Who told you to be so unskilled? You have to keep practicing until both taking down and setting up become very skilled. In the end, they were tortured for forty years.

For forty years, the Israelites took down the tents and wandered around, and after wandering, they stopped again. After stopping, they set them up again. Having only lived there for two days, they started wandering again and taking down the tents again. It was just aimless torture in the wilderness. I don't know if God will discipline me for saying this, but I’m saying what’s in my heart. This is truly a very good training. Training for what? Training people for the torture of life. Did they do business? No. Did they make money? No. Was there GDP? No. There was nothing, but after forty years of this, they lacked nothing. Amazing, isn’t it? After forty years, all the Israelites did was this. They didn't create any GDP. Where would they get time to do that? Or time to cultivate land? It can’t be cultivated. The land in the wilderness is uncultivable.

Moreover, God provides meals daily as usual. God says: Dinner's ready! And the Israelites would go to collect manna. They did nothing, accomplished nothing, just wandered around, and yet for forty years they lacked nothing. You say, It's winter now, feet are cold, people buy cotton insoles. What if the Israelites' cotton insoles wore out? It's a miracle – their shoes didn't wear out in forty years. They were still wearing the same shoes they had on forty years ago; it's miraculous. Their clothes didn't wear out either, and they lacked no food. God wanted to prove one thing: that even though you people do nothing, I will still provide for you.

Do you know you are provided for by God? You know. Just try lying flat for a day, and you'll find out. Or lie flat for a month, and you'll find out. Actually, the sister we talked about, why did she lose her job? She voluntarily quit, thinking she was capable and would quickly find another job. But she couldn't find one, and after a month or two, the pressure increased. This also proves one thing: even though she lay flat for many months, she lived, and there were no problems. So today, I was thinking: how wonderful it would be if people knew throughout their lives that they are provided for by God, with less pressure. They could lie flat if they wanted to, get to work if they wanted to, work hard if they wanted to, lie flat comfortably if they wanted to, and still live. The worst thing is to be constantly struggling, not working well when working, and not relaxing well when relaxing – that's troublesome.

Actually, let me tell you, in Southeast Asia, there are quite a few ethnic groups that are very interesting. These indigenous people of Southeast Asia have a characteristic: if you open a company and hire them, they don't save money like us Chinese. They don't save money; they get paid today and don't come to work tomorrow. Once they've spent the money, they come back to work again. People told me this after I came to this place. They live their whole lives with this kind of logic, and I think any way of living is still living. You know, on the beaches of Singapore, you rarely see Chinese. You see Malays, with a simple mat and some simple things having a picnic, living happily. The Chinese are all busy making money. So God proves one thing: you are alive not because you have done something, but because God has done something.

After these forty years, those who were supposed to die have died, and God will bring the remaining people to the Promised Land. Remember: the Promised Land is not conquered by people, but God leads them in. The Israelites started walking from the wilderness and had to pass through Mount Seir. Do you know whose Mount Seir is? It belongs to Esau. God said: This is what I have given to Esau; you cannot take this land. It turns out that Esau's descendants are also provided for by God. Did you think they provided for themselves? They thought they did. But God said: You cannot touch Esau's land; this is what I have given to Esau.

Then, when the Israelites passed by, they had to buy food and water from them with money. Hey, isn't there manna? When you pass through Seir, you have to buy. Where did the money come from? Over these forty years, it's spending one less. Do you think Esau knew the Israelites were passing by and would spend money to buy from him? He knew. Would he take advantage of the Israelites? He would. The Israelites asked: How much is a bottle of water? Esau said: Twenty dollars. Water that costs one dollar a bottle is sold for twenty dollars. Who told you to pass by my place, I'll fleece you! What did the Israelites do? Let him fleece! And they lacked nothing, nothing was missing. Buying grain, buying food, meat that costs fifteen dollars a pound, grain that costs ten dollars a pound, sold to them for one hundred, two hundred, buy it, and they lacked nothing. Think about it, three million Israelites passed by, man, Esau's descendants made a lot of money.

After passing Mount Seir, they had to pass through the land of the Ammonites, and the Moabites were descendants of Lot. God said to the Israelites: This is not for you either; it is for the descendants of Lot. As a result, the Israelites were fleeced again. If you look at it from a human perspective, if you are fleeced like this, how much money do you have to be fleeced? Wouldn't you be fleeced into bankruptcy? No. How come there was no bankruptcy? We can't say for sure, but one thing is clear: even though they were fleeced, God can still provide for them. Think about it, bam! They took out the money and gave it to them. The next day, they opened their pockets and saw that the money inside hadn't decreased. What's going on? Because God replenished it for them. Did they earn it? No. God gave it.

The Moabites and Ammonites were fleeced all the way, all spent money, and spent at very high prices. Think about it, when three million people flood into a place, wouldn't the prices in that place rise? Definitely. Then I tell you, when the Israelites passed by Heshbon King Sihon, they suddenly destroyed Heshbon King Sihon, and took back all the money they had been fleeced for. All the wealth of Heshbon belonged to Israel. So in these forty years, God made sure they lacked nothing, but from a human perspective, it is unreasonable, but from God's perspective, that's how it's done.

So today I want to give you some confidence. You need to know that you are provided for by God, and you will lack nothing in your life! Ah, how comfortable it is in my heart. Actually, my faith in God is really not small. Some of our brothers and sisters, some of our colleagues, say: Teacher, I don't want to serve recently. I said: Then don't serve. What do you want to do? He said: I want to have fun. I said: Then go have fun. Later, nothing was delayed. So today our brothers and sisters need to know that our breath is in God's hands, our lives are in God's hands, all resources are given by God. Do you understand this time? The Israelites walked through the wilderness for forty years, doing nothing, wandering around all day, not creating any GDP, but lacking nothing. Isn't this beyond your and my imagination?

So today, let's brothers and sisters start to rethink. Think about it, Esau's descendants seized Mount Seir. Did they conquer Mount Seir? Who gave it to Esau's descendants? God gave it to them. God led them to give this land to Esau. Later, the Moabites and Ammonites were also led by God to that land. God gave it to them. All resources are given by God. Actually, at that time, there were giants in that place. As a result, the Ammonites, Moabites, and Esau's descendants, their resources were all given by God. This time it was the Israelites' turn. Later, did this group of people enter the beautiful land of Canaan? They went in. They entered the beautiful land of Canaan, but did people trust God? No. Did people learn a lesson? The lesson is that people are provided for by God – they didn't learn it. So if a person lives by his own hands and sword, he is cursed, and that is not trusting God. Today, brothers and sisters, we begin to know that the background of this passage is that Moses wrote it after the Israelites wandered for forty years.

V. Do not worry about money

I find that people worry about money a lot. The test that God gave was that the Israelites passed through Mount Seir, then passed through the land of the Ammonites, and then passed through the land of the Moabites, and were fleeced three times. When they were fleeced three times, the Israelites' hearts were tugging. How were they tugging? They thought: A dollar for water, charging me twenty dollars, the money is not the problem, but I can't save face. It doesn't feel good to be fleeced. Does everyone have this feeling? It really doesn't feel good to be fleeced. But there are many struggles inside. Oh, I'm worried inside. I'm thinking, if I pass through Mount Seir and people do this, then if I go to the Ammonites and Moabites later, they will all do this. Then if I go all the way to the Jordan River and enter the Promised Land, I'll be penniless. What will I invest in? No investment, invest in God.

So this matter is very interesting. After a struggle, after struggling for a long time, they bought a bottle of water. Which is more important, money or water? When your throat is parched, water is more important. Later I tell you, after the Israelites passed Mount Seir, everyone opened their pockets and felt: Oh, why hasn't the money decreased? I tell you, people are very interesting. Some people, when they look at the money in their account, originally thought there should be twenty thousand, but why is there only ten thousand? Every time they check the money in their account, it's less than they imagined. There is also another type of person who, when they check their account, feels that there is more money in the account than they imagined. Interesting, right? Are there people like this? Definitely.

There is one type of person who, when they check their account, feels that there is more money in their account than they imagined. There is another type of person who, when they check their account, finds that the money in their account is less than they imagined. What's going on with these two types of people? You slowly savor it. It's just that people have a feeling of lack in their bones. You worry all day long and feel less when you check. Therefore, today, everyone, don't worry about money. Some people worry when they have more money, and some people worry when they have less money. But today, we learn a lesson, don't worry, because God will provide. How does God provide? God is very interesting. During the time of Jesus, someone came to collect the poll tax from Jesus. Jesus felt in his pocket and had no money. He had to pay taxes. What would he use to pay if he had no money? Jesus said: Peter, go to the river and catch a fish. As a result, Peter really went to catch a fish. When he opened the fish's mouth, there was really a silver coin in its mouth. Do you think God provided? God definitely provides.

So today I tell you, as soon as you have a problem with worrying about money, it's broken, and you fall into the logical system of Lao Ma (Marxism). Don't worry, man just walks the path of this world, with faith, believing that God will feed you, and you will lack nothing! Don't worry about money, as soon as you worry, you bring in Lao Ma (Marxism). You will find that many people don't worry, and when they check their accounts, they always have surprises. It's very interesting. A few days ago, I went to close a bank account because I hadn't used it for a long time. I didn't know there was money in it. People said: You have more than seven thousand inside. I thought there were a few hundred dollars. It's very good, lost and found, I don't even know where I put that bank card. Don't worry about money, when people worry, money becomes less; when people don't care so much and start to learn to trust God, it will be easy to handle.

VI. Do not worry about resources

I tell you, resources are all given by God. Later, I thought about this matter. What lesson did God give the Israelites? God gave the Israelites a lesson: See? Esau is the one I cursed. I arranged a place for him, Mount Seir. Then the Israelites thought: Isn't Esau cursed? Even for a cursed person, God prepared a resource for him. You Israelites, can God not prepare for you? What God prepared for the Israelites was the beautiful land of Canaan, that's a good place, not Mount Seir. For Lot's descendants, the Moabites and Ammonites, God prepared places for them.

Then I ask you, which nation is not prepared by God? Aren't we Chinese prepared by God? So God has predetermined the boundaries for people, but people always have a feeling of lack. The feeling of lack is very interesting. Today, they occupy a piece of land, tomorrow, they occupy a piece of land, always wanting to occupy other people's land. What are you doing with so much land? People always feel that they have less. Actually, you don't need to worry about resources. Land is arranged for you by God. If a nation that doesn't trust God very much, God still arranges for them, will God not arrange for an Israelite people who trust God even more? Do you still need to worry? You don't need to worry.

Don't worry about land resources, actually, human resources are the same, God has also prepared human resources. Today, if you are doing something, for example, you are running a business, it is not easy to hire employees, as a result, bam! Someone resigned. You don't need to worry, you will definitely hire a better one, isn't that the case? Don't worry, worrying is meaningless. Today, let's start to develop the habit of not worrying, develop the habit of looking up to God's glory in eternity in this world, to clearly know in our understanding that we are provided for by God, to clearly know that we don't need to worry about these things, we seek the kingdom of God and his righteousness, do you understand this time? God will provide!

Those who are doing well, live happily in bigger houses; those who have smaller houses, live happily, and then quickly finish the path of this world and return to God to be with the Lord, which is far better! On this earth, trust God steadfastly every day, doing everything not to make money, but doing everything as if doing it for God, so that you can come before God in the future and give an account, and become God's faithful and good servant. Are you still worried? You don't need to worry. You say: Oh, the economy in our area is not good. God can still feed you even if the economy is not good; you say: Oh, the economy in our area is very developed, but the housing prices are a bit expensive. But God can feed you; you say: Oh, the competition in our area is too fierce, it's too competitive. God can feed you; you say: Oh, a new policy has been issued in our area. God can still feed you. Amen!

VII. Do not be afraid of war

When the Israelites arrived at Heshbon King Sihon's place, he would not let the Israelites pass. The Israelites said: You let me pass, you want to fleece me, charge me twenty dollars for a bottle of mineral water, that's okay. They have all been fleeced. As a result, Heshbon King's brains were not working well, he was not a businessman, he would not let them pass. Heshbon King: I just won't let you pass! Israelites: You little rascal, you won't let me pass, I'll beat you up! As a result, the Israelites snatched Heshbon King and all his land, and destroyed Heshbon King. People are also very interesting, they are just stiff, and as a result, they were destroyed by the Israelites. Then I ask you, is war scary? It's scary. Was Heshbon King powerful? He was powerful. Was the land of Heshbon King given to him by God before? Yes. Then why does God want to take back this land again and give it to Israel this time? Because these people are stiff.

Therefore, today, brothers and sisters, you need to know that God has long prepared a battle, a battle is set before us, this battle can plunder the enemy. Lao Ma (Marxism), aren't you stiff? We will plunder Lao Ma (Marxism)! Today, brothers and sisters, listen carefully, I know you don't love money, but God has also prepared a battle for you, which can plunder the enemy! You will be blessed financially. Every time you can overcome this worldly logical system, every time you don't follow the way of thinking of Lao Ma (Marxism), but follow the logical system of God, you will be blessed financially! This staff is prepared for us by God, to take back everything we used to be fleeced for. Don't be afraid of war, is it hard? It's hard. Although it's hard, the returns are also high.

VIII. Fear God and trust Him

Do you know why it is difficult for people to trust God? Because people carry a worldly logical system inside. People carry a worldly logical system, and as a result, they are at enmity with God, which is troublesome! Even though you are at enmity with God, God will still feed you, but you live very hard. The Israelites walked the road of the wilderness for forty years in this way. God destroyed that generation, those who did not fear God and did not trust God were destroyed, and then God will bring the new generation to the Promised Land, God wants them to know: Did you see? Have you learned a lesson? If you haven't seen it yet, haven't learned a lesson yet, then study hard!

A person who fears God or trusts Him will lack nothing, and will lack no good thing! What good thing is he lacking? So today, we are so indebted to ourselves, today, we turn to God, we can no longer be indebted to ourselves, because in the place where you are indebted, it is because you lack a little fear, and you lack a little trust. Therefore, for forty years, God has done a great experiment to let people see that those who fear Him and trust Him lack no good thing; those who do not fear and do not trust all collapse in that wilderness, so do not imitate that generation that was destroyed by God.

Ever since we left Kadesh Barnea, until we crossed the Zered Valley, thirty-eight years passed, until that whole generation of fighting men had perished from the camp, as the Lord had sworn to them. The Lord’s hand was against them until he had completely rooted them out from the camp. Now after the last of these fighting men among the people had died, the Lord said to me, “Today you are to pass over the region of Moab at Ar. (Deuteronomy 2:14-18)

The Israelites are about to enter the land of Canaan. Therefore, today, brothers and sisters, what kind of person do you choose to be? Never let your thoughts and intentions sway, if you sway to that side, it will be troublesome, you will be a person who is destroyed by God. God will surely bring those who fear God to the Promised Land!

IX. Conclusion

Today's conclusion is one sentence: lack nothing!

Indeed, the Lord your God has blessed you in all the work of your hands. He has watched over your journey through this immense wilderness. These forty years the Lord your God has been with you, and you have lacked nothing. (Deuteronomy 2:7)

If your heart is lacking, then it is a leaky basket, unable to hold God's blessing, and you will lack even if you shouldn't lack. But those who trust God will lack no good thing! Did you hear it today? Although you have been lying flat for the past period of time, if you have been lying flat, then let it be, and don't struggle with lying flat anymore. Today, start to be able to get up, with faith, living every day as if for God. If you have been struggling in the past, and you haven't done things well, you don't need to struggle today, because even if you haven't done well, God will still feed you. The pressure in your heart will be gone, and then you will calm down, settle down, and learn, do things, and grow steadfastly, and then learn to fear God and trust Him, today this sentence should be imprinted on our hearts.

Let's sing a hymn and prepare to collect today's offering. Let us come before God with boldness, you say: Teacher, the teaching you gave today makes it easy for people to lie flat. Lying flat all the time is not fearing God, we must learn to fear Him and walk according to God's word. But it doesn't matter if you lie flat, it's just because people don't know how to trust God, they feel that they can't lie down for a while, but it's not, even if you lie down, God still works. Don't worry, our pastors don't need to worry either, actually, the most important thing is to rekindle the faith in people's hearts. Otherwise, if you lie flat, you will struggle, and when you finish struggling, the day will pass, it's better to lie down properly. Let the struggle recede! It's not struggling, it's not that kind of frustration, it's not that kind of discomfort, it's calm and peaceful. To do it is as if doing it for God, because it is God who feeds you. God wants to be with us, therefore we will lack nothing! Although I gave many examples that don't fit our Chinese way of thinking, but people really live like this.

At this time, raise your hands: God, I want to trust You, because You are feeding me, You will make me lack nothing! In the name of Jesus Christ, I command the lying flat mentality inside me, I command the struggling, frustrated, competitive mentality inside me to recede! Today, no matter what I do, I do it as if doing it for God. God, You are always with us, so that we lack nothing. Let us have Your grace and mercy in the days of running in this world. In the name of Jesus Christ, I rebuke those struggles, frustrations, and discomforts to recede! I just want to calmly and peacefully trust God, so that my life can become a vessel for displaying God's glory. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen!

Our Father in heaven, may your name be glorified. May your kingdom come, may your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, for the kingdom, power, and glory are all yours, forever. Amen!
