Introduction

Good morning. Today, we will study Leviticus Chapter 11. The previous chapter had many confusing parts. I consulted many resources for this chapter, but few were satisfying. I did not feel that they were speaking to God's heart, so I sought it earnestly. A characteristic of Chinese Mingding Destiny is that we do not excuse God, nor do we explain for God. We simply try hard to understand how God works and understand God's heart, rather than reading our own intentions into it. Man's own intentions are, in fact, very foolish. The more conceited a person is, the more foolish; the less conceited, the less foolish.

I pondered, how can a person become wise? I discovered a characteristic in my work. For example, if I want to draw a line, my eyes see it as straight and level, but when it is installed according to that line, it is crooked. Later, I stopped trusting my eyes. My eyesight is not as accurate as a level. But sometimes, the level shows a horizontal line, yet my eyes see it as crooked—it is quite amazing. So, I developed a habit: I tend to trust instruments more. But some of us do not trust instruments much. For example, when needing a hole saw, they rely on feeling and assume it is 25mm, but after drilling, they find that the hole saw was too large, and they have to fix it a second time.

What we think is not important. I think, I feel, I assume... all are related to foolishness. Why do these I think, I feel, and I assume things have such a big impact on people? Because they often lead people into confusion and blunders.

In the previous chapter, Leviticus Chapter 10, Nadab and Abihu each took his own censer, put fire in it, added incense, and offered unauthorized fire before the Lord, which he had not commanded them. So fire came out from the presence of the Lord and consumed them, and they died before the Lord (see Leviticus 10:1-2).

I find this very strange. These two probably did not know why they died before they died. They died confused. They took their own censers, put fire in them, added incense, and thought it was all good. Never rely on I think, because what you think is very likely not what the Lord has commanded.

For example, when driving, what you think you should do is useless; it is best to follow traffic rules. Recently, someone driving received a ticket because they drove into the bus lane during peak hours, when it is forbidden to use the bus lane. After receiving the ticket, they said, I thought it wasn't this time! What you thought is useless! Unfortunately, if you think you see a green light but it is actually red, that can be fatal!

So today, brothers and sisters, we must consider: what should be the basis for a person’s life? It should be the word of God. Think carefully about what I am saying. Nadab and Abihu died because of such a thing. Whether they understood or not, who can they argue with? We cannot win against God! Never question God, God, why did you do this? God will say, Do I not have the right to do so?

We do not need to explain to people that God still loves us, that God accidentally killed Nadab and Abihu. That is not the case! This is recorded in the Bible so that God can tell us, Among those who approach me I will be proved holy; in the sight of all the people I will be honored. What more can Aaron say?

How should we study Leviticus Chapter 11? Some chapters in the Bible are very difficult to study. For example, Genesis Chapter 5 records who lived how many years, listing a bunch of foreign names without any storyline. What is the point of recording these? What is the significance? Later, I discovered that there is God's intention in it. God wants to tell us that everyone lives and then dies, no matter who you are.

The Theme of This Chapter

Let's read Chapter 11:

You may eat any animal that has a divided hoof and that chews the cud. However, of those that chew the cud or have a divided hoof you may not eat the camel, the hyrax, or the rabbit. Although they chew the cud, they do not have a divided hoof; they are ceremonially unclean for you. The pig is also ceremonially unclean for you; although it has a divided hoof, it does not chew the cud. You must not eat their meat or touch their carcasses; they are ceremonially unclean for you. (Leviticus 11:3-8)

The scripture says all of this, and I do not even know what these animals are, such as the hyrax. I looked up some information, and some say that these animals are unhealthy to eat. But it seems that is not what God is saying. Why can’t we eat them or touch them? We should look at it this way. Let's look at 11:44:

I am the Lord your God; consecrate yourselves and be holy, because I am holy. Do not make yourselves unclean by any creature that moves along the ground. I am the Lord who brought you up out of Egypt to be your God; therefore be holy, because I am holy. (Leviticus 11:44-45)

It is actually such a simple principle: Because our God is holy, we must also be holy. Therefore, these animals cannot be eaten or touched. What is the reason behind this? I consulted many resources, but science cannot explain it, and I could not find a reason. Later, I gave this matter an explanation: because God dislikes it.

God hates these things. God knows more about these things than we do, so we should not argue with God. What God considers unclean, we also consider unclean; what God considers clean, we also consider clean. It is that simple. Because God is our standard, our benchmark. People live by every word that comes from the mouth of God.

There is a joke among us Chinese: The Adam and Eve created by God were not Chinese. If they were Chinese, before the serpent could even speak to them, it would have become a stir-fried dragon dish. So Chinese people eat many things. Today, we see that pork and rabbit cannot be eaten, and eating them makes us unclean. But Chinese people love to eat pork, which I find very interesting.

How should we study this chapter? What is the difference between the New Testament and the Old Testament? Our God became flesh and came among us, giving us a word: what you consider unclean is indeed unclean. After Jesus resurrected and ascended to heaven, he showed Peter many unclean things and told him to get up and eat. In the Old Testament, Leviticus says we cannot eat them. In the New Testament, God revealed to Peter to preach the gospel to the Gentiles because the Gentiles did not observe the rules of clean and unclean. But the Israelites, since Moses, have diligently kept what they can and cannot eat. Even today, for example, Buddhists do not eat meat, and Muslims do not eat pork, but Christians eat everything. What is going on? Our God is holy, so we must be holy. That is the theme of Chapter 11.

The Forms of Animals Are Created According to the Forms of the Spiritual Realm

This chapter is actually talking about spiritual matters. There are many kinds of forms in the spiritual realm. Christian faith is getting closer and closer to science and further away from theology. Studying the spiritual realm is called theology, and studying the material world is called science. Today, many sciences are based on material things, such as studying genes, saying that a person is intelligent because they have this gene, but this theory is quite perplexing.

For example, identical twins have all the same genes and look the same, but during their growth, their temperaments are completely different. So this matter is really hard to explain. Sometimes one is smart and the other is foolish, one is healthy and the other is unhealthy. These are all seen from a fleshly perspective. However, it is the spirit that gives life. This matter must be seen from the perspective of the spiritual realm.

Why did God tell the Israelites what is clean and what is unclean? Should we not think about it? I like to study and ponder these things.

This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, explaining spiritual realities with Spirit-taught words. (1 Corinthians 2:13)

Is Leviticus using spiritual words to speak of spiritual things? Yes! What exactly is going on? How did it become clean and unclean? Today's sharing is all my own pondering, and it is very practical. The first example is that people are created in the image of God. Then, what image is the pig created in? What image is the monkey created in?

Actually, in the spiritual realm, many things have forms. The Bible says that among all the creatures God made, the serpent was the craftiest. There are many other animals that God created. But why create the serpent in the Garden of Eden? There may be a bunch of animals, but these animals were all created by God before Adam and Eve. Humans are created in the image of God. Then, what are these animals created according to? They are created according to the forms of the spiritual realm.

Everyone must establish this concept because it is closely related to our healing and deliverance. In my ministry, sometimes when delivering a person, they crawl on the ground like a snake because there is a spirit of the snake on them. Some time ago, a couple brought their child to me. After arriving in my office, the child specifically crawled into the corners. Sometimes when we buy a kitten or puppy and bring it home, it will specifically find a safe place to hide. The safe place is not the middle of the living room but a corner. The way this child crawled was like a crocodile. After understanding the situation, I found that the child's favorite thing at home was reptiles. Is this a spiritual matter or a human habit? This is a spiritual matter.

What spirit a person has, that is the habit they will have, which is very interesting. Once a person is contaminated by a spirit, they will be controlled by the spirit, and then they will have these behavioral patterns of the spirit. We started to carefully ponder the spider spirit, White Bone Spirit, Pigsy, Sandy, and Monkey King in Journey to the West. Maybe what is said inside has animal forms and corresponding temperaments, such as Pigsy and Monkey King.

When we observe things, we will know that it is a matter of the spiritual realm. There are many such things. Let me give an example: Previously, my mother was in pain all over her body. She said she saw many strange things. I asked her what she saw. She said she saw thousands of crabs crawling on her body, making her whole body ache. I named these things the spirits of the little crabs, which reminded me of the shrimp soldiers and crab generals in Journey to the West.

I always thought there were no such things. Unexpectedly, when I prayed and declared that the fire of God would come down from heaven and burn these crabs, I could smell a fishy smell of crabs that made me dizzy. Before long, the air was filled with the smell of cooked crabs. This was absolutely real and something I experienced personally.

Then my mother shouted, Quick, step on these crabs! Even though I couldn't see them, I didn't care and stomped hard on the floor. After destroying these crabs, my mother said that an old man came outside, carrying a basket, and carried away several baskets of dead crabs. From then on, my mother was better, and the pain in her body was gone. Actually, these things bring deep spiritual control to people.

When my mother got Alzheimer's disease, she had a bad habit of playing with feces when she went to the toilet. In fact, it is very common for elderly people with Alzheimer's to play with feces. My mother said that she saw many dung-rolling insects in the toilet. When I heard this, I immediately thought, could it be dung beetles? I searched for pictures online and showed them to my mother, asking if that was it. She said it was this thing. But I could not see what she said.

I was thinking about what to do and pondering where the ghost lived. I guessed it lived in the chest. I grabbed her chest and prayed, and she screamed in pain! I prayed and commanded the evil spirit of the dung beetle to leave, and the evil spirit was driven out by me. Later, my mother's habit of playing with feces was mostly resolved. When it came again, I continued to drive it out until it was completely gone.

People are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Science does not know much, mainly about the spiritual realm. Christians often easily turn the gospel into science and do not talk about spiritual things. I watched a video of a pastor who hoped to bring people to God by talking about science. I have never found related teachings and scriptures in the Bible. I am used to studying the spiritual realm, and it is still effective.

Someone I knew brought a fortune teller who drew talismans to me. He could not walk straight. Every step he took, he opened his legs and could only walk two inches at most. It was very hard for him! The person who knew me introduced me this way: he said that I was connected to the three realms. I prayed with the talisman drawer and drove the demons out of him. As a result, his legs loosened, and he could take steps.

Everyone can learn more about the things of the spirit realm, but don't go astray. I once went astray and studied the Classic of Mountains and Seas, what mountains and waters, what monsters lived there. Scientists were also looking for these monsters but never found them. Before I ministered, sometimes what I saw was very similar to what I saw in the Classic of Mountains and Seas. At that time, I thought maybe I should read the Classic of Mountains and Seas so that I could better help people get deliverance.

I read the Classic of Mountains and Seas and found that it was talking about things of the spirit realm. How did the people who wrote these things get these things of the spirit realm? I don't know. At that time, I thought I could get revelation by reading it, but the Holy Spirit revealed to me: You should not read these. This is the spirit realm of the devil. You should go and understand the spirit realm of God. It is important to pursue the spirit realm of God. What Paul said about the third heaven actually refers to things of the spirit realm.

Today, when we talk about eating these things, clean or unclean, we are actually talking about things of the spirit realm. In my ministry, I rarely see people who are controlled by lambs. Once there was someone who worshiped idols very seriously. He was the landlord of one of us. One day he came to me. Why? He said that he felt heavy all over his body every day and that his back felt like he was carrying a pot lid. I prayed with him, and his back loosened. I have found that many people with heavy backs, when you touch their backs, it seems like you are not touching anything. Actually, this is something that happened in the spirit realm.

There was a pastor who had problems with his lumbar and cervical vertebrae for more than 20 years. I prayed with him. Oh my, God, there was a big lizard lying on his back. I said that this person must be living very hard carrying this thing every day. Later, I drove the big lizard away, and his back immediately became relaxed. He said that he had never been so relaxed in more than 20 years. It is a tragedy for a pastor not to understand the spirit realm! Can seeing a doctor cure the illness? Can doctors solve problems in the spirit realm?

There was also a scientist who was chatting in my office. Suddenly, I saw palm-sized turtles on every important muscle on his body. I asked him if he felt heavy on his back. He said that he felt exhausted every five minutes he walked and it was very uncomfortable. He asked me how I knew. I told him about the things in the spirit realm. He was shocked when he heard it and did not believe these things. Then I could only let him carry these things.

When we see people's temperaments and their physical reactions, we need to know what is happening. God created the mouth so that we can taste things and our sense of taste is very sensitive. Actually, my sense of taste is still pretty good. After I return to my hometown, facing a large plate of food, I hate that my stomach can't hold it. Every time I visit someone, I like to eat something with everyone. Fortunately, God did not create an oil inlet on our stomachs. If people were created without the need to eat, people would lose a lot of enjoyment. When people are sick and their mouths have no taste, it is actually a curse, and the mouth loses its sensitivity.

How did God curse the serpent? To eat dust all its life. When you understand that the serpent eats dust all its life, you will know that this is a tragedy. If a person eats dust all their life, wouldn't that be deadly? There are many incurable strange diseases in the world. For example, some people eat mud, they eat everything. Actually, there are ghosts behind it.

What We Eat and Drink Is Not That Important; Rely on the Holy Spirit to Mortify the Flesh

You are created in God's image. If you live like a lizard, crocodile, snake, cat, or dog, that is not the image of God. Our brothers and sisters must ponder this: in the Old Testament, the Holy Spirit had not yet descended, and people's ability to resist the spiritual realm was very fragile. Why are many things in the Old Testament that could not be eaten, but can be eaten in the New Testament? Because in the New Testament, we have all received spiritual authority. Before the short period when Jesus was crucified, people were still powerless against the spiritual realm. If it were not for God's mercy and protection, it would have been truly difficult.

Relying on one's own carnal ability is of little use; no matter how strong the determination, it is of no use. For example, Peter said, Lord, even if I have to die with you, I will never disown you. But before the rooster crowed that very night, he denied the Lord three times. In fact, Peter was very distressed and uncomfortable inside. The spirit was willing, but the flesh was weak. The way to mortify the flesh is through the Holy Spirit. The key to solving the problem of clean and unclean is not in what we eat or do not eat, but in whether we have the Holy Spirit.

Wherever Peter and Paul went, they were very clear about the weakness of the human flesh. No matter how strong a person's willpower, they are helpless in the face of the spiritual realm. Therefore, when they preached the gospel, they asked if you had been baptized and received the Holy Spirit. Why is receiving the Holy Spirit so important? Because the Holy Spirit brings spiritual power to us.

Today, brothers and sisters, we must know how rich and glorious the gospel of Jesus Christ that we have received is! Jesus shed his blood and sacrificed himself on the cross, solving problems far beyond our imagination, solving problems in the spiritual realm. The problem in the spiritual realm is that all things must be placed under our feet, so that the one who fills all things may also fill us. In this generation, nearly 2000 years after the resurrection of Jesus Christ, God wants to manifest his power again through us! When we read Leviticus, this cannot be eaten, that cannot be touched, these are all carnal ordinances. What do they symbolize? They symbolize that in the spiritual world, we must not be defiled. Because our God is holy, therefore we must be holy.

Today, brothers and sisters, we must know what kind of grace we have received from God! If we treat such abundant grace as a trivial matter, what an offense to God that would be! We must know that as for touching something unclean or eating something unclean, those are not the most important things; these are all carnal ordinances. The New Testament is to let us see the spiritual realm. Everyone must have a very clear understanding and knowledge of the spiritual realm.

Let me share with you why eating animals that have cloven hooves that are not split or chew the cud but do not have cloven hooves makes people unclean. Because these shapes represent unclean things in the spiritual realm. You might say, what do the fallen angels look like? In fact, they are all in the shape of these unclean things. Don't think that what I am saying is absolute truth; this is just my own contemplation.

Unclean things in the spiritual realm are all made according to unclean things. That is, God actually had the spiritual realm before he created these animals on earth. Including Satan, Satan is in the shape of a snake; and what we call dragons, crocodiles, and earthworms are all in the shape of dragons. Locusts, grasshoppers, crickets, and grasshoppers are clean, while geckos, lizards, dragon lizards, and chameleons are unclean. Touching them is also unclean. We must know that there are some special regulations; some are unclean if touched, some are cleaned by washing, and some require breaking the earthenware vessel.

Therefore, everyone should understand these clean and unclean things. These things will not only affect our bodies but also bring spiritual bondage. I am leading everyone to read the Bible, and I don't want to mislead you. Please read it carefully several times to see which things are unclean and which are clean. Because these unclean things have a very deep impact on people in the spiritual realm.

Christians Must Live a Holy Life

After saying so much, there is one more important thing: we must be holy because our God is a holy God. This is the most important thing. We must begin to live a holy life and not live like beasts. The Bible says: The spirit of man goes upward, and the soul of the beast goes down to the earth. As for whether all things have spirits, we really have to ponder it! Is it right that all things are made according to the spiritual realm?

I encourage everyone to begin to live out the glorious image of God and not be defiled, that is, in our minds and thoughts, do not be like the minds and thoughts of beasts. Do not be like beasts in eating. Know in the spiritual realm that the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of the power of the Holy Spirit.

In the New Testament, what we see described in the Old Testament is actually just a shadow of the spiritual realm. Do not take that shadow as the substance. That is how they are divided in the spiritual realm. I guess those angels who were struck down from heaven, along with the angels of Satan, are all in these abominable shapes and are all cursed. If we defile ourselves with their shapes like them, we will become abominable.

Everyone should try to keep their lives clean and not be defiled, because these are all things that God abhors. Things devoted to destruction are all things that God does not like, and things God does not like are abominable. For example, some things are originally good and should be offered to God, but we keep them for ourselves, and as a result, they become abominable things devoted to destruction. Some people do not know this and like to keep these things for themselves. Some brothers and sisters also like to buy toys with reptile images for their children. Why buy these when there are other things to buy? It is best not to buy these things because after all this, they will be defiled in the spiritual realm and become abominable in God's eyes.

To live a holy life, develop clean living habits! Don't be dirty and filthy all day long. In our ministry, we have found that if people are dirty and filthy, they have a strange smell, which is actually something from the spiritual realm. Today we must begin to develop a clean habit. If you have a strange smell on your body, you need to know what that thing is bringing. If you can't even talk about being clean, how can you talk about being holy?

Conclusion

Today, no matter what, don't live like a beast, making yourself a mess. Start living a holy life because our God is holy, and we must be holy. When we eat the flesh of Jesus and drink the blood of Jesus, it actually represents that we have the appearance of Jesus. In the Old Testament, we were not allowed to eat those things or touch those unclean things, which actually meant not to be defiled.

Today, you may not eat these things or have not been defiled by these things, but those things are not the most important. Because Jesus said that those things, after being eaten, end up in the toilet and are of no great use. But the image that we live out is very important. Our God is the Lord God who brought us out of the land of Egypt. He will be our God. Our God is holy, so we must be holy. Amen!
