Introduction
Good morning, everyone. I'm going to share a very good topic with you, called If anyone does not love the Lord, let him be accursed, which is a direct quote from the Bible. The topic I'm discussing is related to God being a jealous God. God is a jealous God! comes from the Ten Commandments in Exodus, which say: You shall not love other gods, you shall not serve other gods, you shall not worship other gods.
When many people talk about God being a jealous God, they say, Oh! I'm actually a jealous person too. Then they say to their wife or husband, You cannot love Jesus more than you love me, you cannot love anyone more than you love me, you cannot love others. Why? Because people often live in this kind of delusion and confusion.
I told you a joke last time about a wife who said to her husband, If I and your mother fall into the water, who would you save first? If I and Jesus fall into the water, who would you save first? It's actually a comparison of who loves whom more. People are very strange, always wanting to obtain, people are really lacking in love. But the Lord Jesus died for us! He was crucified, not your husband crucified for you. In the Ten Commandments in Exodus, God says:
I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery. (Exodus 20:2)
This is our God, our God is the God who sets us free, but our people are often the people who make us lose our freedom. So whenever I think of the grace of the Lord Jesus, and see brothers and sisters being healed, I thank my Lord Jesus, because our sicknesses are all laid on Jesus Christ. We become rich through the poverty of Jesus Christ, we are healed by the stripes of Jesus Christ, and the crucifixion of Jesus Christ is vividly displayed before my eyes.
Sometimes when our brothers and sisters are healed or receive grace, if I have personally ministered to them, when I see their condition turn around, I choke up and shed tears, tears of gratitude, and I love the Lord our God even more. Initially, I wanted to talk about Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind, but later I changed it to If anyone does not love the Lord, let him be accursed, because this topic is more forceful and can awaken our brothers and sisters to restore a life of loving God.
It's not that our God lacks love, it's that our God sets us free. Our God clearly tells us that if we love anything more than God, we will be bound. The Ten Commandments say it so clearly, God brought us out of the land of slavery in Egypt to set us free, to lead us into His promised land.
So know for certain that freedom is non-negotiable, know that we will have freedom only if we love God. If we love God, the emotions within us will come alive; if we love God, many bondages within us will be broken. I will explain the origin of this passage and then once again highlight that a curse is the result of disobeying God's word.
I believe there are still many myths about curses among us, always feeling that a curse is a terrible thing, not knowing what it is all about. Now I want to tell you, if anyone does not love the Lord, let him be accursed! Not loving the Lord is very foolish, loving the Lord is God's command. Loving the Lord can enable us to receive God's love; loving the Lord can broaden our minds; loving the Lord can make us strong again; loving the Lord can solve many of our inner confusions.
Scripture
This salutation is in my own hand—Paul. If anyone does not love the Lord, let him be accursed. Maranatha! The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with you. My love be with you all in Christ Jesus. Amen. (1 Corinthians 16:21-24)
Prayer
God, please re-energize us, energize us again through Your love. Let us rely on the power that comes from You to continue running the road ahead. God, let our spirits awaken today, let us know for certain that if anyone does not love the Lord, let him be accursed!
Today, completely clear away the myths about curses inside us, let us know that loving You is our wisest choice. Lord, reveal Yourself to us today, let us know You more. Lord, we bring all our problems and confusions to You, may You speak to us personally, in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen!
Scripture Background
1 Corinthians is a letter written by Paul himself to the Corinthian church, and at the end, Paul personally greets everyone. Then he wrote a sentence that doesn't sound like a greeting:
If anyone does not love the Lord, let him be accursed. Maranatha! The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with you. My love be with you all in Christ Jesus. (1 Corinthians 16:21-24)
Why did Paul write these words? If we read 1 Corinthians from chapter one to chapter sixteen, we will find that the Corinthians are very stingy and very carnal. These people should be teachers according to their learning, but they are still very carnal, often engaging in factions, disputes, and all sorts of chaotic things, and these Corinthians have created many confusions for themselves. Why? Because they are stingy and carnal!
A group of people came to Corinth and confused the Corinthians. The Corinthians began to use their narrow minds to measure what the apostle Paul had done for them. They felt that the apostle Paul seemed to have deceived them, so Paul wrote 1 Corinthians and 2 Corinthians to bring the people of the Corinthian church back. It can be seen how chaotic the things inside them were.
For example, people back then ate the Lord's Supper as if they eating a big meal, what does that mean? It's like gathering at noon, not eating breakfast, going to church on an empty stomach, and eating breakfast and lunch together. The Lord's Supper that they ate had to be a very lavish meal to be called the Lord's Supper, so Paul corrected their bad habits of eating the Lord's Supper.
Paul told them that they were eating and drinking their own sins, not eating the Lord's Supper at all. They did not set apart the bread and the cup, nor did they bless the bread and the cup to become the body and blood of the Lord Jesus, those people were simply gorging themselves. Some of the people there even ate things that had been sacrificed to idols, and some slaves who believed in the Lord wanted to be masters and get rid of their position as slaves, these things all happened in Corinth.
What things can be done, and what things cannot be done? The Corinthians had a lot of confusions and wrote a long letter challenging the apostle Paul. Then they raised some very confusing questions, including marriage, family, marrying, not marrying, whether can marry his stepmother, and so on, all sorts of chaotic questions. There were also gifts, whether large gifts or small gifts, which made the church extremely chaotic.
When someone was preaching, another person would suddenly stand up and say, I have an inspiration. Then they would start praying in tongues, and the listeners would not know what they were saying, it was very chaotic. There were also some people who were suing each other and going to court, and some even believed that the Lord Jesus had not risen from the dead. Why? Because suddenly the gospel became ineffective, many people could not be healed when they prayed, and some even died of illness, so the Corinthians were filled with a lot of confusion.
If you read 1 Corinthians and 2 Corinthians, you will find that the situation described in them still exists in the church today. When I read these two books in the early years, I could very much understand Paul's feelings, that the chaotic situation in the church was simply not like a church. Precisely because of this, I felt that we should build a church with God's presence, the above is the background of this passage.
2 Corinthians also mentioned the problem of giving, that the people in Corinth were full of confusion. If you have a lot of confusion inside, there is only one reason, which is not loving the Lord. If a person does not love the Lord, let him be accursed, let me explain this matter clearly to everyone, if people do not love the Lord, let him be accursed, this problem is very serious.
Curses Come from Disobeying God's Word
We have always thought that curses are inextricably linked to ghosts, and indeed they are inextricably linked to ghosts, but curses definitely do not come from ghosts, curses come from God. How does a curse come about? It is that when people disobey God's word, they get a curse. Including many phenomena today are directly related to curses, know that if people do not love the Lord, they will eventually be accursed!
The chaotic situation in the Corinthian church back then produced a result, that the powerful gospel became powerless. Why did it become powerless? Because the church became more and more chaotic, can you imagine the situation of the church at that time? The powerful gospel used to be effective, and many diseases were healed, that was because it was the church established by the apostle Paul. At the beginning of 1 Corinthians, Paul said:
For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. (1 Corinthians 1:18)
Then he went on to say:
My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit's power, so that your faith might not rest on human wisdom, but on God's power. (1 Corinthians 2:4-5)
This sentence must be engraved on our hearts. Why did the apostle Paul say these words to the Corinthians? Because the people in Corinth had made the powerful gospel powerless, what was the reason? The only reason is that if this person does not love the Lord, let him be accursed. How can a Christian who is cursed have power? So we must begin to know that curses come from God. The Bible says:
Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. (Romans 12:14)
It is not because we cursed someone that it took effect, but because people disobeyed God's word and got a curse. If we can only bless and not curse, then even if we cursed, it would be useless, it wouldn't work. Why? Because curses come from disobeying God's word, we are merely saying a curse, it may not necessarily work, what we are saying may not necessarily be in accordance with God's word.
If a person disobeys God's word, you must tell him that this is an accursed thing, if a person disobeys God's word, preaches the wrong gospel, or believes in the wrong gospel, these are all cursed things. This is not cursing people, this is telling people the truth. Everyone, start to come out of these myths and confusions, loving God is the greatest commandment. The Bible clearly records the teachings of Jesus Christ:
Jesus replied: 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. (Matthew 22:37-38)
Everyone can hear many testimonies here with us, why? Because God is with us. We have a group of people who love God madly, we have a group of people who are willing to give to Jesus Christ, we have a group of people who are willing to dedicate their lives to God, we are a group of people who love God to the point of madness! So here with us, God is with us.
The fact that Jesus Christ was crucified for us is not a doctrine, it is the power of God. At the end of 1 Corinthians, the apostle Paul said:
If anyone does not love the Lord, let him be accursed. Maranatha! The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with you. My love be with you all in Christ Jesus. Amen. (1 Corinthians 16:21-24)
Those of us who serve God must serve because of our love for the Lord, it will not be changed by the Old Testament or the New Testament, a very important principle, a person who serves God must be a person who loves the Lord. What does it mean to love the Lord? Loving the Lord means willingly obeying God's word. Serving God, this is what he likes to do the most, how could he be cursed because of serving God and loving God?
So brothers and sisters, start to re-recognize this matter of curses, although I have said this sentence many times, I would like to repeat it again, loving the Lord is our motivation for serving. If you hear this person say: Serving God, serving is so hard! So tired! So uncomfortable! This is a lack of love for God.
If you have a love for God inside, you will love like you are in a passionate relationship, how can you be tired? It is liking, liking so much, how can you be cursed? So we must know that a curse is the result of disobeying God's word, the greatest commandment is to love the Lord your God. Our God brought us out of the land of Egyptian slavery, we must love Him with all our heart, with all our soul, and with all our strength. The Bible says this in the Ten Commandments:
but showing love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments. (Exodus 20:6)
You will find that people who love the Lord have a clear characteristic when they serve, which is that they don't know what it means to be tired. It's not that they don't get tired, they also get tired, but after being filled with God's love, they have that kind of excitement inside. When people have a love for God inside, it is easy to overcome the feeling of fatigue.
So, our brothers and sisters, start to clean up again, what do we have inside? Is it loving the Lord? If anyone does not love the Lord, let him be accursed! This sentence immediately explains many things that seem incredible. For example, some people look well-dressed and dignified, but they do not have a love for God inside, and then they are cursed.
Don't be confused, why do some people look good, but incredible things happen to them. Don't think you have seen clearly, actually God will not see wrong, and the devil will not see wrong either. We must know that people must make smart choices!
Not Loving the Lord Is a Very Foolish Choice
Some people often take the Bible to ask me: The Bible says that some people cast out demons, but God says He does not know them (See Matthew 25:11-12). I say, read this passage carefully, anyone with a primary school education would not think so. It is not that he cast out demons and God does not know him, it is because he does not love the Lord, and violates the greatest commandment of God, God says He does not know him.
A person who does not love the Lord, even if you have cast out demons, cannot replace the problems brought about by not loving the Lord. So God says He does not know you, not because of other things, but because you do not love the Lord, even if you cast out demons, it is useless. I remind everyone again, do not live in this confusion, we must know how foolish it is not to love the Lord! In this generation, people are in panic, and the COVID-19 virus is rampant, and nothing can stop it.
Some time ago, I called a former subordinate of mine, and I preached the gospel to him for many years, but he did not believe in the Lord with me. He was confused about what I did, and then asked me a question: He did not understand how we people live? I told him that our lives are actually very simple. For example, some of us get infected with COVID-19, and we are healed with prayer; what cancer, all kinds of diseases, on the legs, on the head, as long as we pray, they are all healed.
People have to make a choice between God and this world, if people do not love the Lord, how foolish it is. Love the world, and the world will pierce you with sorrow; love God, and God will protect you with His power, what a gracious thing it is. We can solve few problems in the world, and there are a lot of problems that we cannot solve, even the wise and intelligent people in this world cannot solve these problems, and people appear very small in the face of natural and man-made disasters.
Therefore, a person must know that he is a person, but not loving the Lord is a very deadly thing. Especially people like those in the Corinthian church, they knew God, knew the Lord Jesus, and then chose not to love the Lord, is this not accursed? If you have personally seen the miracles that God has performed among us, but you still do not love the Lord, how foolish is this! So brothers and sisters, gradually observe, understand, and explore how helpless people live in this world.
Before, a sister came among us, and I received her at that time, and I asked her what problems she had. She said that she had a tendon pulling behind her back. I understood at a glance that this was the result of discerning good and evil. So I led her in prayer, and it quickly loosened, and she was also very convinced.
Recently, this sister often sends me some messages, saying that she is very grateful to God for having the opportunity to come among us, otherwise she would have continued to stay in a church like the Corinthian church, and continue to struggle in confusion. She came among us, not only did her finances turn around, but many difficult problems in her life were also solved easily. In the face of God's power, there is nothing that cannot be solved.
If a person cannot receive God's grace, it is because he does not love the Lord. I remind everyone again, if you have many problems that still exist, coming and going, repeatedly, and you cannot see God's blessing, you must reflect on what you have inside. A few days ago, a sister told me that she serves a brother, and many times she cannot see God's work on this brother, cannot see his turnaround, and cannot see his reaction to healing and deliverance.
This sister was very confused and asked me what was the reason, was it because her service was not powerful? But when she serves another brother, she is very powerful, and the deliverance is very good. I said that the reason is very simple, it lies in what people have inside. What this brother has inside is a set of logic systems that love the world and belong to the world. A person can only receive God's grace if he loves the Lord, especially in this generation, not loving the Lord is a very foolish choice.
Loving God is the Command of God
Some may be perplexed, isn't faith the foundation? But we must clearly understand:
And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love. (1 Corinthians 13:13)
Therefore, my brothers and sisters, we must understand one thing: loving God is the command of God, not believing in God. Loving God to the point of willingly giving everything for Him. Our evangelism is to preach a gospel of loving God, and we must serve God with love. Once, I was invited to attend a special conference where they asked me to share, and I gave a sermon titled Love the Lord Your God with All Your Heart, Soul, and Strength. I shared many stories of my service, but they felt uncomfortable because I was talking about how diligently I served. As the Bible says:
Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn. (Romans 12:15)
I serve my God diligently, and I am very clear that those who do not love the Lord are accursed. I have personally witnessed many pastors and brothers and sisters in the church who are not without zeal for God, but their hearts are filled with love for the world. I have seen with my own eyes how their curses ferment and turn into disasters. Later, I understood from the Bible that if anyone does not love the Lord, that person is accursed!
When I preached Love the Lord Your God with All Your Heart, Soul, and Strength, many people felt uncomfortable because they thought I was the only one who loved the Lord, and they did not. Whether one loves the Lord or not depends on how one serves, on the attitude of your service, and on the effectiveness of your service.
Some say, Only you can do it! I also wonder if only I can do it, but whether I can do it or not is not important; loving God is the command of God. The Apostle Paul would not use wise and subtle words to preach; he would use the Spirit of God to preach, so that people's faith would not depend on human wisdom, but on the power of God. Those who love God will be filled with grace, receive God's grace abundantly, and then give it out. My brothers and sisters, do not doubt this.
If someone thinks they love the Lord, then see what is really inside you. Some feel they love the Lord and attend meetings, but what does attending meetings represent? It represents nothing; attending meetings is the most basic requirement, nothing extraordinary.
What have you willingly and gladly given for God? Do not think that doing some religious rituals, attending meetings, and shouting hallelujah loudly means loving God, nor does making dumplings for the brothers and sisters in the church, no matter what delicacies they are filled with, because that is not an important sign of loving God.
What is the important sign of loving God? Loving God means paying the price for God's kingdom; loving God means caring about what the Lord Jesus cares about, and willingly paying the price for what the Lord Jesus cares about.
So, we will be filled with the benefits of the gospel. I encourage everyone to be a disciple rather than a believer. Those who love the Lord are disciples of God, and those who forsake everything for the Lord are disciples of God. Many people feel that it is impossible to do. If you love the Lord, you will willingly pay the price for Him. You will gradually discover that your service will clearly carry God's presence.
Last time, people invited me to preach, but speaking a lot of theory is useless. I asked how many people were sick, and a wow of hands went up. I said, What are you doing coming to believe in the Lord, so many people have diseases. If we think that believing in the Lord is just shouting hallelujah, we are mistaken. Seeing brothers and sisters with pain in their bodies, can we have a little reaction to say: God, may you heal him! God, when I stretch out my hand and lay hands on this sick person, may your power be poured down.
Later, I led them in prayer. Many people had lumbar and cervical problems. I led them in prayer as I usually do in prayer meetings. Their eye problems, lumbar problems, and cervical problems were all healed after prayer. I use the demonstration of the Spirit and power, so that your faith does not depend on human wisdom, but on the power of God.
We know that people need the power of God to live, and loving God is the command of God. How foolish it is not to love God. Loving God is the command of God, and loving God can be filled with the benefits of the gospel. I encourage you again, can you be willing to become a person who loves God? I often say to those I serve: How I serve you today, so you must serve others in the future. This is not moral kidnapping, it is a small request and encouragement from me to you.
Loving God is the greatest commandment of God, and the second is to love your neighbor as yourself, and first is to love the brothers and sisters in the church. Next, our church will gradually implement solutions to the difficulties our brothers and sisters currently face, including physical illnesses, difficulties in life, and improving learning abilities. Loving God and willingly giving for God is a very smart thing to do.
Loving God Fills Us with God's Love
The books of 1 Corinthians and 2 Corinthians reveal many important truths. The Apostle Paul said in 2 Corinthians:
For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us. (2 Corinthians 1:20)
If we want to be filled with God's love, then you must first be a person who loves the Lord. If a person is accursed, how can he receive promises from God? I tell you, if you do not see the promises of God in a person, there is only one reason: that person does not love the Lord! I long for our brothers and sisters to wake up. If you love the Lord and please Him, the reward is extremely rich!
Many people give testimonies, all of them are testimonies of receiving grace. But the grace she received from God was not because of her, but because there were people who loved God serving her, and God's grace was released through that person who loved God for her to receive. Later, since that person who received grace bought a house, she no longer came to Sunday services, no longer attended meetings, and stopped tithing! Everyone will definitely ask, what's wrong with her brain? I tell you, I have seen more foolish people than smart people!
Then the pastor of that sister let her return to her original church. She had received everything she should have received, and she had gotten everything she should have gotten. But this place is a place of people who love the Lord. If you are not a person who loves the Lord, then return to your original church, live whatever life you want to live, anyway you have everything you should have, and God will not take it back from you. If a person does not love the Lord, he is accursed! Brothers and sisters must know this. Later, our sister not only gave a testimony but also repented, and resumed a life of loving God.
Brothers and sisters must know for sure and carefully imprint this sentence deeply in your hearts. If anyone does not love the Lord, whether in the Corinthian church or in today's church, no matter where, if anyone does not love the Lord, that person is accursed! So it is in the New Testament, so it is in the Old Testament, God has never changed.
We have established a relationship of love with God, and we have invested all our emotions in our God. If we invest all our emotions in God and invest all our love in God, will we still have such confusion? No, we won't! So brothers and sisters, rethink this matter. How much of a curse have we received? The Bible says very clearly, if anyone does not love the Lord, that person is accursed!
Loving God Can Broaden Our Minds
The people of Corinth were very petty, and that is why the Apostle Paul, when writing 1 Corinthians to the end, told the Corinthians:
Watch, stand fast in the faith, be brave, be strong. Let all that you do be done with love. (1 Corinthians 16:13-14)
If the person inside is very petty, you have to tell them to be brave and strong inside. Have you heard me tell you: You have to be brave, you can't be so petty, you can't be so narrow-minded, you have to imitate me! You must have the kingdom of God in your heart, you must have a heart that loves the Lord and loves God, and our minds will continue to be broadened.
The problems we see are no longer trivial matters, and those problems are not what God is most concerned about. The things in the minds of the Corinthians were old and dirty; they were all about what to eat, what to drink, getting married, and finding boyfriends and girlfriends. They were all worldly things.
This place is a place where a group of people who love the Lord and love God gather, and there is the presence of God in this place. Since there is the presence of God in this place, it is clearly telling you that if anyone does not love the Lord, that person is accursed! Because the Lord is coming! God clearly lives among us, do you want to try what it means to be accursed? You can try! This world and the things in it will pass away, and it doesn't matter if a few more people pass away. Loving God will broaden our minds, and what exactly is in our minds?
You will find that the Apostle Paul, in the process of serving, had great breadth of mind. The Corinthians offended him and insulted him, but the Apostle Paul still brought them back, and served them with all his heart, soul, and strength, serving them as if serving his own children. It is difficult for us to understand, isn't it? If we have a heart that loves God, we will definitely not be a narrow-minded person. If a person is narrow-minded, he really needs to love the Lord to broaden our minds.
Loving God Can Make Us Strong
Brothers and sisters, do not think that after we love the Lord, everything will be smooth sailing and nothing will happen. Every day we will have clothes to wear, food to eat, and we don't have to worry about anything, just peace. It is definitely not like this! Because of our love for the Lord, we will see more problems. We must find ways to solve more problems by relying on the power of God, and we will diligently serve God!
But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord. (1 Corinthians 15:57-58)
Because of our love for the Lord, we serve diligently! We who love the Lord must not receive God's grace in vain! You may be confused, isn't God's grace freely given? It is freely given, not because we have done anything, God gives it to us. It is that after we receive His grace, we will respond to God, knowing that loving God is a very clear requirement from God for us.
God wants us to be a blessing to many people. So, 1 Corinthians emphasizes doing everything to edify people. On the road to edifying people, if I don't have strength from God, I can't go on. I am not a person who gives up easily, but when facing setbacks, I really need God to strengthen me again.
Because of our love for the Lord, we can really be strengthened and persevere for another mile. Although we have overcome many difficulties, there are still more difficulties before us. Difficulties will not disappear because we love the Lord. Because of our love for the Lord, God can indeed give us strength, strengthen us, make us a victorious person, and overcome the difficulties we face.
Among us, there are still many needs of brothers and sisters that have not been met. Some time ago, I collected many kinds of problems that brothers and sisters have in learning, work, and life. Because of my love for the Lord, I long to solve them one by one, and one day I will overcome all these problems! I hope brothers and sisters can enter into victory and be reshaped. I give everyone encouragement, start learning to love the Lord, God can not only strengthen me, but also strengthen you.
Some time ago, I received a text message from a sister that I had served for many years. I had served her for so many years, and I finally persevered to have results. The text message was written like this: Teacher, now at work, I understand the profession very quickly. Everyone else is confused, but I can understand it after listening to it once. Colleagues are surprised that I can understand something so difficult after listening to it once. But I don’t think it’s difficult at all. Although there is a lot I don’t understand, I understand it as soon as I learn it. I resigned from my previous job because I couldn’t learn the profession. Now I have a particularly strong understanding ability.
This sister did not study well in middle school, let alone university. When she was studying abroad, she was always fooling around, playing around, and reading novels when she had nothing to do. She would read them for a day or two. When I served her, it wasn’t because she was so cute that I served her, it was because of my love for the Lord that I diligently served God.
Brothers and sisters must know for sure that as long as people do not leave, we will diligently serve. Many years ago, this sister’s father brought her to me, and I spent a lot of effort explaining to her father not to send her to study abroad anymore. Her father still had to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars to send her to study at a university in Australia. With the development of our generation, what can you do with an Australian diploma? You can't do anything!
Later, I encouraged her to go to work quickly. She was not too young, so she could learn and improve in the workplace, and the things she learned were more practical. In the past few years, I thank God that I have never given up! It’s not because this sister is very cute, it’s because I love God very much, and I won’t give up on anyone who comes to God! It’s not because she loves God very much, it’s because I love God very much, and I tell this sister with hope that one day she will come out. As a result, she sent me this message yesterday, and after I read it, I thanked God!
Why? Because in the past few months, I have been promoting learning. Brothers and sisters, don’t give up. The first choice you have to make is to start being a person who loves the Lord! When we start learning to love the Lord, even if you don’t love Him, it doesn’t matter. You must know that there is a group of people who love the Lord serving you here! Perhaps because the Lord Jesus loves you, you respond to God; or because of the people who serve you, you respond to God. You must begin to know that God will definitely give you wisdom, ability, and intelligence!
Loving God Can Solve All Our Confusion
Remember: This gospel is the power of God! Human wisdom cannot be compared with the foolishness of God, let alone compared with the wisdom of God! This gospel is the power of God, to save everyone who believes! Brothers and sisters must know that loving God can solve all our confusion, because the promises of our God will never be abandoned!
Our God is the God who sets us free! So whether it is family, children, business, or work, none of them can replace our love for the Lord! When we love the Lord, because of the power of God, all problems and confusions will be solved easily. Let us run forward with faith, believing in the power and promises of God, with hope, and with a heart that loves the Lord! You ask me what is love? Love is patient!
But earnestly desire the best gifts. And yet I show you a more excellent way. Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing. (1 Corinthians 12:31, 13:1-3)
Perhaps you understand, perhaps you are very confused. You just need to know that not having love is a very serious problem! Not having a heart that loves the Lord is a very serious problem! Brothers and sisters must know for sure that love is patient! I am very grateful to God that I have never given up on a brother or sister, not one! I am often contradicted, but I see with my own eyes that God, through the patience He has given me, is turning one person after another.
I long for the pastors and all the brothers and sisters among us to know for sure that love is patient. Once, I happened to pass by and heard a sister doing ministry say to her students: I have taught you three times, how can you still not understand? But this sister who does ministry, I taught her thirty times, and I didn't say this sentence. How could she say this sentence after only teaching three times? Brothers and sisters must know:
Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away. (1 Corinthians 13:4-8)
Maybe you understand, maybe you don’t understand, but I want to tell everyone that this is the most excellent way! If you ask me, what is the biggest lesson in your service? The biggest lesson is loving God! Because of my love for God, I give all the brothers and sisters a hope. No matter what difficulties and problems you encounter, our God will never give up on you! Perhaps you have a new confusion in your heart, and you will ask God, didn’t God give up on those who died in the wilderness? Weren’t the Israelites who died in the wilderness all killed by God? The reason is very simple: they didn’t have a heart that loves the Lord!
Brothers and sisters, even if you have a little bit of heart that loves the Lord in your heart, you will definitely receive grace. Our God is a God who is patient, our God is love, and love is God. This love is not a selfish love, but a love that is given out! Therefore, God will keep His covenant with those who love God and show mercy to them for thousands of generations! Are there still many confusions in our hearts? Nothing is impossible with God! Don't give up! Don't give up on yourself, figure things out one by one, and God will give us His heavenly wisdom!
So start learning, let us have a heart that loves the Lord in our hearts. Maybe you have just come to church, and you can’t understand these words, but you understand the heart that loves the Lord. I long for every brother and sister among us to be able to experience God. Because of your love for the Lord, receive God's grace and God's promises abundantly; because of your love for the Lord, you can broaden your minds and no longer live in narrow-minded concepts; because of your love for the Lord, you can be strengthened again; because of your love for the Lord, you can remove all the confusion in your heart.
Conclusion
Don't be negative, be strong! God is a God who loves us. The difficulties before us, because of our love for God, God will surely add strength to us, so that we can trample all the difficulties under our feet! This is God's promise!
May God bless everyone!
