Training brothers and sisters in the church in character, breaking the flesh, that is true love, embarking on the blessed path, this is God's promise. Exodus, Numbers, Deuteronomy are all about character. If parents do not discipline their children from an early age, they will ruin them. So, loving children with carnal love, unable to shape their character, is called spoiling. Therefore, brothers and sisters serving as pastors today, do not be soft-hearted. If a person's character cannot be molded, they cannot be blessed, because they are filled with the nature of a slave.
Having already gained freedom, yet still living a life of a slave's nature. Therefore, we must know that God's intention is: to mold people's character. When Sister XF came to see me, I asked her about doing Taobao and WeChat business, and she was brought to tears, but she was still molded, her life was transformed, and that is love.
We must have this character - the character of a servant of God
Behold, My Servant whom I uphold, My Elect One in whom My soul delights! I have put My Spirit upon Him; He will bring forth justice to the Gentiles. He will not cry out, nor raise His voice, nor cause His voice to be heard in the street. A bruised reed He will not break, and smoking flax He will not quench; He will bring forth justice for truth. He will not fail nor be discouraged, till He has established justice in the earth; and the coastlands shall wait for His law. (Isaiah 42:1-4)
In the church I know, the message I deliver is very different from the messages delivered by other churches. The message I deliver is to strive to push brothers and sisters into the likeness of Jesus. But often, I hear many people say that they cannot be like Jesus, but I think we can be like Jesus. If you imagine being like Jesus, you are the one God upholds and God delights in.
Today, brothers and sisters must all become like Jesus. A bruised reed He will not break, and smoking flax He will not quench; He will bring forth justice for truth. He will not fail nor be discouraged, till He has established justice in the earth; and the coastlands shall wait for His law. (Isaiah 42:3-4) This is addressed to us. We are sent by Jesus Christ, we are little Jesuses, little Christs.
Therefore, today we must know that we must have a character: a character that is not discouraged, not disheartened, strong and courageous, until justice is proclaimed and established on earth. In fact, justice is spiritual truth, so our appearance must be like Jesus. We have a unified relationship with Jesus. Do not believe lies. This is the concept of building a holy and glorious church. If we are pleasing to Him, God will do one thing: begin to restore people's spirituality.
Restore Man's Spirituality
Thus says God the Lord, Who created the heavens and stretched them out, Who spread forth the earth and that which comes from it, Who gives breath to the people on it, And spirit to those who walk on it. (Isaiah 42:5)
Our God is the one who gives people spirituality, because we are in a spiritual age, so we must be people who live from the spirit. Why do we value praying in the spirit? It is because praying in the spirit can awaken people. So today, brothers and sisters must know that our God is the God who restores people's spirituality. In the beginning, in Genesis, He breathed a breath, and we became living beings with a spirit. Why do many churches not have miracles and wonders? One simple reason: they preach human doctrines. A living being with a spirit will be filled with the Holy Spirit and do what Jesus did.
Paul never explained praying in tongues, so today, brothers and sisters must know that I value the Bible very much: what the Bible does not prohibit, we do in faith; what the Bible prohibits, we do not do; what the Bible says we must do, we must do. This is the key to God's word.
When God's Spirit is poured out, He will give us hope, He will restore our freedom, so the work of Christians is: to do what Jesus did, to give people hope, to restore people's freedom, to make the blind see. If you recognize what I say, we will do what Jesus did. What Jesus did is to give people hope, to be a light to the Gentiles. That is to say, when God's Spirit moves among us, we declare that there should be light, and there is light, and brothers and sisters can receive light.
So brothers and sisters, let us begin to know that the word is not only referring to Jesus, it is referring to what we do in this world on behalf of Jesus together. So brothers and sisters, let us begin to learn to be strong and do such things in faith. I encourage you to desire to do what Jesus did. Do not say that is Jesus, I cannot do it. Know that what Jesus did is what I want to do, and what I want to do is what Jesus did. This is such a unified relationship.
Behold, the former things have come to pass, and new things I declare; before they spring forth I tell you of them. (Isaiah 42:9)
Our God is a God who does new things. If as Christians we are all experiencing the same things, I do not think there is any point for such Christians to go to church, I do not think this is normal. I think as Christians we should walk in the new things that Jesus Christ does every day. Our God is a God who does new things, and today He has shown us through Jesus.
Today I can tell everyone with certainty that our brothers and sisters, the medical expenses of your life will really be saved. Our God is going to do new things, He is going to attack the enemy with great force. Why does God want to restore freedom? Because freedom is extremely beautiful. Today brothers and sisters must know that losing freedom is not a good thing. The key to losing freedom is that people are deceived by the devil.
The Key to Losing Freedom is Being Deceived by the Devil
What is the key to losing freedom? The key lies in being deceived by the devil and following the devil's lies. The devil's biggest lie is the knowledge of good and evil. The devil, the enemy, makes us lose freedom, and then our God fights for our freedom. God will attack the enemy of man with great force, so that we can gain freedom.
Brothers and sisters must know that the root of all our problems comes from the spiritual world. God wants to strike our enemies, and we can regain freedom. What a grace this is! To open the eyes of the blind, to lead the prisoners out of the dungeon, to lead those who sit in darkness out of the prison, this is what our God does. Today, we must also do according to God's will on earth, and we must also begin to rise up and strike the devil, the enemy. Therefore, I encourage everyone to read Rick Joyner's The Final Quest, which is a very important book.
Our God is a God Who Performs Miracles
I will make the mountains into a wasteland and dry up all their vegetation; I will turn rivers into islands and dry up the pools. I will lead the blind by ways they have not known, along unfamiliar paths I will guide them; I will turn the darkness into light before them and make the rough places smooth. These are the things I will do; I will not forsake them. (Isaiah 42:15-16)
Our God is a God who performs miracles. What kind of miracles does He perform? He can turn mountains into a wasteland, dry up all the vegetation, lead the blind by ways they have not known, lead them along unfamiliar paths, turn the darkness into light before them, and make the rough places smooth. Our God will do all these things and will not forsake us. If we are blind, God will lead us on paths we do not know.
When I established the church a few years ago, the path I took was unknown to me. Today, when we look back, we find that the path the Lord led me on was very wonderful. I have followed God all the way in faith. At that time, I had not read the Bible thoroughly, and I did not know how to establish a church, but I followed God with a passion, and God led us out step by step.
Especially in Bible study, when brothers and sisters follow me in Bible study, they will find that what I say is different from many Bible study materials. Especially Genesis, it goes against many other Bible study materials in many places. For example, Genesis chapter 38, if you search online, you will find very bad Bible studies, but if you listen to the recordings I put online, you will receive Mingding Destiny.
Where do these insights of mine come from? That is from God's revelation. I walked a path I did not know, but this is the path God led me on. I was originally blind, but God led me on the right path. Is this not a magical thing!
Have Faith
Today, our brothers and sisters, let us know for sure that our God is a God who performs miracles. Stop relying on yourself and rely on the God who performs miracles. It is not because we know or do not know, it is because we have faith. Having faith has nothing to do with knowing.
Some people believe only after they know. I believe and then I know. Even if I do not know, I still believe. Then you say that is not blind faith? Is not all faith like this? If you know and then believe, what is that called faith? This is a mobile phone, I know, do I still need to believe it is a mobile phone? Do not you think this is a very strange thing? Believing has nothing to do with knowing. Believing is because we have God's word and believe that God will lead us.
These people without faith will worship idols, and those who worship idols will be utterly ashamed. Like Sister DL, her family worships idols, is that not being ashamed! What we preach is the true God, and what we believe in is the true God. What we believe in is a God who performs miracles. If we cannot distribute the wonderful blessings given by this God who performs miracles to our family, this is really a strange thing. So today, brothers and sisters, we must begin to be strong.
The God of This World Has Blinded People's Eyes
Why do people worship idols? It is because they have been blinded by the god of this world. You must know that those who are controlled by the spirit of the dragon have one characteristic: they believe that the dragon does not exist, yet they are miserably controlled by it. Brothers and sisters, you must understand that those who are deaf and blind cannot see or understand, and these are all blinded by the god of this world.
As long as we know that the spiritual world is real, as long as we know that our God is the true God, and then experience His grace, we will surely obtain it. In fact, it doesn't matter if you don't know; start exploring and understanding, and you will surely experience it. These people are blinded by the god of this world, not knowing that God is a miracle-working God and that God is the God who supplies all our needs. They are just struggling on their own, relying on their own strength, and then God hands them over as plunder.
Know the Eternal God
Who gave Jacob up for spoil, and Israel to the robbers? Was it not the Lord? (Isaiah 42:24)
A person deliberately refuses to know God, harboring a rebellious heart, because he pursues the benefits to be gained in this life. A person who knows God must know the eternal God. Our God is the eternal God. Knowing the eternal God includes not only the benefits of this life but also the benefits of eternal life.
A person who knows God does not care about this life, but he lives very freely in this life. Those who only care about this life, deliberately ignorant that man has eternal life and that man is a spiritual being, God allows them to harbor a perverse heart, allows them to rebel, and then pours out His wrath upon them. Brothers and sisters, if you observe carefully, you will know who this is talking about if you have a little wisdom.
They would not walk in his ways, neither were they obedient unto his law. Therefore he hath poured upon him the fury of his anger, and the strength of battle: and it hath set him on fire round about, yet he knew not; and it burned him, yet he laid it not to heart. (Isaiah 42:24-25)
Aren't these words describing these people! If we carefully observe the world we live in today, what benefits have those who pursue money and this life gained? They have gained nothing. The entire family is overthrown, and their descendants can never recover. This kind of situation often plays out among us.
Believe in God's Promises
But now thus saith the Lord that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine. When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. For I am the Lord thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour. (Isaiah 43:1-3)
Are you willing to accept the Lord as your God? The God who created the universe. If you accept this God, when you pass through the waters, they will not overflow you; when you walk through the fire, you will not be burned, nor will the flame kindle upon you. For I am the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel, our Savior.
What a grace it is for a Christian to receive God's promise! If these words are true, put them into practice and begin to experience God's grace. There may be rivers in our path ahead, and it may be fiery, but with the Lord God as our God, we will surely be able to pass through.
God Manifests His Glory Through Us
Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him. (Isaiah 43:7)
To be called by God's name is to be created by God for His glory, for His glory. We live in this world today to manifest God's glory! There is no God besides the Lord, no Savior besides Him.
God Is Our Redeemer
I, even I, am the Lord; and beside me there is no saviour. (Isaiah 43:11)
Our Redeemer is He; only the Lord is God, only He is our Redeemer. What does it mean that no one can deliver from His hand? It means that those whom God wants to destroy will surely be destroyed; those whom God wants to redeem will surely be redeemed. No one can deliver from His hand.
Yea, before the day was I am he; and there is none that can deliver out of my hand: I will work, and who shall let it? (Isaiah 43:13)
Whether you are pleasing to God or hateful to God determines what you receive. If you please God, you receive promises; if you provoke God's anger, you receive corruption. No one can escape from His hand, for it is the Lord God who creates.
Once, when sharing with someone, I said: God both curses and blesses. Because that's what the Bible says. He said: No, God only blesses and does not curse. I have never seen such a stubborn Christian. I argued with him for a good while, but we couldn't come to an agreement. Because he doesn't rely on the words of the Bible, because he doesn't know God, he often experiences disasters and is now lying in the hospital. We must know our God, the God who created the universe, is our Redeemer, and we will surely be blessed in His hands.
God Opens the Way for Us
Thus saith the Lord, your redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; For your sake I have sent to Babylon, and have brought down all their nobles, and the Chaldeans, whose cry is in the ships. I am the Lord, your Holy One, the creator of Israel, your King. Thus saith the Lord, which maketh a way in the sea, and a path in the mighty waters; Which bringeth forth the chariot and horse, the army and the power; they shall lie down together, they shall not rise: they are extinct, they are quenched as tow. Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert. The beast of the field shall honour me, the dragons and the owls: because I give waters in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert, to give drink to my people, my chosen. This people have I formed for myself; they shall shew forth my praise. (Isaiah 43:14-21)
Listen carefully: our God, our Redeemer, is the God who opens the way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert for us. Today, no longer believe in the Lord based on knowledge, but believe in the Lord based on faith, believing that our God is such a God. Now, our God will continue to do new things among us. What new things will God do among us? Even if God sees a desert in front of us, He will open rivers; even if it is a wilderness, He will open roads.
God often leads us into an unknown place. I have never walked the road we are walking today; I don't know what the road ahead is like, but I know one thing: our God is definitely a God who leads us into abundant promises. No matter whether we encounter a wilderness or a desert, God can open up a path for us.
God makes roads in the wilderness and rivers in the desert to give drink to His people, His chosen ones. If you have read Torch and Sword, the book describes that there are streams in the wilderness, which are the waters of the river of life. In this state of war, we will surely stand by this river in the future and constantly drink the water of the river of life. Today we must know that our Redeemer is the Lord who prepares abundant paths for us.
God Blot Out Our Transgressions
I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins. (Isaiah 43:25)
For a person who trusts in God, God will blot out our transgressions for His own sake. Not because we have no sin, but because we believe in Him. He is willing to blot out, and we receive the effect of blotting out. Because we believe in Him and trust in Him, He will no longer remember our sins, which is the gospel based on faith.
Therefore, brothers and sisters, do not become a curse again. A curse is unbelief, a curse comes from the knowledge of good and evil. Everything that does not come from faith is sin. But if we believe, God will blot it out, because He is our God, He is our Redeemer. Therefore, brothers and sisters, I encourage you to start believing that our God is a miracle-working God.
Behold my servant, whom I uphold; mine elect, in whom my soul delighteth; I have put my spirit upon him: he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles. (Isaiah 42:1)
Brothers and sisters, today we must begin to do what Jesus did. These things we do are upheld and chosen by God, and are pleasing to God. Then we will receive the Spirit of God. Thank God, this is an extremely beautiful promise. May everyone receive such a promise, and may everyone enter into what is pleasing to God, with the character of Jesus Christ, to live out the glory of Jesus Christ in this world.
We were created to be so. If we were created to live out the glory of Jesus Christ, is going to college still important? When going to college, God will manifest His glory; at work, God will also manifest His glory; while learning, God will also manifest His glory. If you have faith in God, that is the answer to all your problems. I am very sure that I will trust in Him firmly throughout my life, and our good is not apart from Him.
