Introduction: This Gospel is a Gospel of the Holy Spirit

Brothers and sisters, good day. We continue from the last session. After the last session, the questions raised can be divided into two categories. The first category of questions is: How can I be set free? Why did many anointed and famous pastors die of cancer? My answer was not very polite either. If you think about it, many problems are closely related to the victorious church. The second category of questions is related to the filling of the Holy Spirit and speaking in tongues. The first type of question solves the problems of the church, and the second type is our own problem. I think these are two closely related issues. A group of the old, weak, sick, and disabled put together will not become a victorious army. It must be a group of mighty warriors put together to become a mighty warrior army. So, a victorious church and a victorious individual are interconnected.

In this session, I want to talk to you about the Gospel of being filled with the Holy Spirit. For a long time, we didn't talk about these things because we felt it was a matter of course. But there are still quite a few Christians who are confused about being filled with the Holy Spirit. Recently, someone left the group. He said he enjoyed listening to my sermons very much. But when the pastor among us wanted to lead him to be filled with the Holy Spirit, he left the group. This person is like the sister with the issue of blood that I talked about, preferring to go to heaven with the issue of blood rather than being healed and going to heaven. How confusing is that! So, I still have to dispel the myths about being filled with the Holy Spirit and praying in tongues.

Brothers and sisters among us, if this is a very simple topic for you, learn how to explain it clearly. But if you are new and full of fear about being filled with the Holy Spirit and praying in tongues, then my goal is to solve the problem of fear. They keep saying, God reigns, God holds up the universe by His almighty hand! But when it comes to praying in tongues, they say, What if an evil spirit comes? Actually, the Bible does not say, Ask for the Holy Spirit, and an evil spirit will come. If you find it in the Bible, come and tell me.

What is deceiving him and making him afraid? It is the evil spirit deceiving him from within, making him afraid. So, I again tell you the Gospel of being filled with the Holy Spirit, which is absolutely in accordance with the Bible. You can rest assured that if what I say has no basis in the Bible, you don't have to listen. I won't force anyone. But one thing you must know is that I value the Bible very, very much.

The logical system of Chinese Mingding Destiny that I created places great emphasis on the Bible. No matter who says it, if it's not in the Bible, don't listen to it. Why are so many brothers and sisters among us healed and blessed today? Because we keep and follow God's word. So, brothers and sisters, do not be afraid or worry. After listening to what I say, you can carefully compare it with the Bible and continue to take notes. Some old brothers and sisters are very sweet, sending messages to our little helpers saying, I am paralyzed in bed and cannot take notes. I said, It doesn't matter if you can't take notes, but you still have to sort it out in your mind because you can still listen to the Bible and Bible studies.

Then he answered me, This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: 'Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,' says the Lord Almighty. (Zechariah 4:6)

If you examine it carefully, relying on the Spirit of God is so important. If the powerful Gospel of Jesus Christ, the hopeful Gospel through the Holy Spirit, is believed to be a powerless Gospel, it will be the greatest tragedy in the world. Actually, we have believed the powerful Gospel to be a powerless Gospel. Every time we talk about being filled with the Holy Spirit, it's as if we are orthodox, and then we run away. What are you running from? Look at my face, I don't have hair on my face, and I don't have horns on my head. I am not the Bull Demon King, nor Princess Iron Fan, what are you afraid of? Some people also say why I talk about Sun Wukong. Sun Wukong realized that he should pursue eternal life after seeing a monkey die. We are not even as good as a monkey!

So, we must begin to examine the Bible step by step. You may be a little disappointed in this session because there will be fewer stories and more biblical content. We must understand what the Bible says so that the devil cannot deceive you. A person who understands the Bible and reads it according to God's word and God's will is difficult to be deceived by ghosts. Everyone must begin to know that what I am talking about is the Gospel of being filled with the Holy Spirit.

Genesis Begins with the Gospel of the Spirit Moving

The beginning of Genesis chapter one talks about the Spirit of God moving upon the face of the waters. Sometimes we are surprised that we get healed when we pray! Why is that? Many people think that this person is very anointed, that this person has spiritual gifts, but that's nonsense. It is actually the Spirit of God working there, and when people speak and declare, God accomplishes it. You must know this, without the Spirit moving, what do you declare? Without the Spirit moving, no one's declaration is useful.

Why does Genesis chapter one tell us this? When we read chapter one, we see that man is made in the image of God. Why does God tell us about the creation of the universe? When creating the heavens and the earth, the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. There is a term in English called for your information. What is God telling me this for? Telling me, I can't go back to that place to investigate! So, apart from believing, nothing can be investigated.

In the beginning, I would kneel there and pray for several hours every day because I couldn't study Genesis properly when I was leading everyone to study it. I was dumbfounded after reading chapter one. Some people were also dumbfounded after reading it, but they didn't think they were dumbfounded, so I think they are amazing.

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters. And God said, Let there be light, and there was light. (Genesis 1:1-3)

I said, God, you said in Matthew 7:24 that if you read God's word, you should do it, but I can't do anything after reading the first sentence, I am depressed. How can I do it? But not many people ask questions like me. If you read God's word, you should do it. Many people read God's word and don't care how to do it. After reading it, it's just finished. If God only wanted me to know, then he didn't need to do that at all. If it is for me to do it, then how should I do it? I can't go back to the time when the earth was formless and empty, I can't fix it, so I'm very entangled. The feeling of entanglement is the same as Sun Wukong's feeling when he saw a monkey die.

So, I knelt on the ground and prayed, and God's word came to me. If a person is thirsty and wants to seek, you will surely find it, because he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks, the door will be opened. As a result, God put this word in me. It was like hearing this word, like thunder in my ears, awakening! Want to know what I heard? God said: You are made in my image, do as I do. I said, what should I do? God said: People often encounter emptiness, formlessness and darkness. Yes, I am desperate when I see these people, so desperate to die. Then God said, what should I do? Let my Spirit move there, you speak and declare, and things will be accomplished.

Just after God declared, a person with a blank stare came. Why did he have a blank stare? Because he was getting married the next day, and his wife ran away the day before. Why? Because she was a liar and took his money. It was too miserable. Later, he found another girlfriend and asked him how much money he earned a month, and then asked how much money he could save. This person couldn't save a penny. That girlfriend was found online, and as a result, she turned around and left. When she left, his eyes went blank, and he came to me. Usually, he would treat me as rubbish and wouldn't bother to care about me.

I saw his blank stare, he's going to die, I have to save his life! At this time, I remembered Genesis chapter one. Isn't this the darkness over the surface of the deep? Then I said, come, I will lead you to be filled with the Holy Spirit and pray in tongues! Then I declared it, and many things happened miraculously. I saw his eyes slowly focus and light up. After a while, he relaxed and was able to speak! I said: God, you are so divine. Although no one can do this in the first verse of Genesis chapter one, when you pointed it out to me, I opened my mind and was able to do it!

So, from then on, I preached the Gospel of being filled with the Holy Spirit, letting the Spirit of God work there. It is good to be filled with the Spirit of God! Brothers and sisters, do you want to become smart? If you want to become smart, let the Spirit of God work there, and then I say: In the name of Jesus Christ, so-and-so brother and sister become smart! Wow, this is amazing.

In my past years of ministry, I am most grateful for being filled with the Holy Spirit. Without the Holy Spirit, what can I do? I might as well read the Buddhist scriptures and the Tao Te Ching. You have no way to verify any scripture, and you have no way to interpret scripture with scripture. Even if you can interpret scripture, what can you do after interpreting it? Only being filled with the Holy Spirit is the most important thing, of course, praying with understanding is also important. Genesis chapter one says many times that things were accomplished in this way. How were things accomplished? It was because the Spirit of God moved and the Spirit of God spoke and declared, and it was accomplished. As long as the Spirit of God is moving, we speak and proclaim, and things will be accomplished in the same way! Wow, this is wonderful! This is simply a life full of excitement.

I don't have many hobbies. I don't think eating and drinking is interesting. When people open a bottle of Moutai, I feel spicy and uncomfortable after drinking it. I think it's better to open a bottle of Coke, which is cheaper than Moutai. Not only is eating and drinking meaningless, but even playing is meaningless. People play mahjong, pick up one and throw away one, sitting there for a whole day, what's the point? It's not interesting either. In fact, I also play mahjong, but I just don't think it's interesting. Anyway, I just feel very depressed.

Fortunately, I met God later. Once I got to know God, I discovered the best game: casting out demons. Relying on the Spirit of God to cast out demons and let the kingdom of God come is simply wonderful. Things are accomplished in this way. So, brothers and sisters, what does Genesis chapter one talk about? It talks about the Spirit of God moving there, and then you speak and declare, and things are accomplished in this way.

There is a Samuel in the Bible. Samuel is one of the two greatest prophets in the Old Testament, along with Moses.

And Samuel grew, and the Lord was with him and let none of his words fall to the ground. (1 Samuel 3:19)

Oh, how desirous I am! I said in my heart: God, I want to be like this too! As a result, I am becoming more and more like this. It is good to speak and declare, and God accomplishes it in this way. So, if you want to live prosperously, you must be filled with the Holy Spirit. If you want to be a creative person, you must be filled with the Holy Spirit. If you are filled with the Holy Spirit, you will definitely have creativity. Now we begin to thirst to be filled with the Holy Spirit, it is really very good.

Brothers and sisters, building a victorious church depends on the Spirit of God, and being a victorious disciple depends on the Spirit of God. This Gospel is a Gospel of being filled with the Holy Spirit. Dealing with the spirit of lust in people depends on the Holy Spirit. What can we do without the Holy Spirit? We can't do anything. We can't do anything by relying on the flesh. So, Paul preached the powerful Gospel in all his epistles.

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. (Romans 15:13)

My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit's power, so that your faith might not rest on human wisdom, but on God's power. (1 Corinthians 2:4-5)

This sounds very good. Today, I also do this, and things are accomplished in this way. Do you want to accomplish everything you do? If you want to, I will give you a trick: that is, to pray in the Spirit for a long time. When I first established the church, I had no money, no people, and no work. I only had one thought: to establish the church. At that time, I had time. Later, I spent all this time reading the Bible and praying. I prayed a lot in tongues.

I thank God that I speak in tongues more than all of you. (1 Corinthians 14:18)

No one prays in tongues more than Paul. I said that's easy, I pray in tongues for an hour, two hours, or five hours. I think this is a very easy thing. But for some people, this is a very difficult thing. He feels that when he prays for a long time, he opens his eyes and finds that only 5 minutes have passed. Prayer is really too difficult for him. Some people only pray for ten minutes a day, which is when they are eating. What are they doing? They're full of problems.

So, brothers and sisters, you must know that this is a Gospel of being filled with the Holy Spirit. Some people say that Genesis is the Old Testament. Do you believe in the New Testament? I can still sort the New Testament out clearly.

The New Testament Also Speaks of the Spirit Moving

The Bible does not say that this is the New Testament and that is the Old Testament. They are not divided like that. The Old and New Testaments are a whole. When Luke wrote the Gospel of Luke, there was no New Testament. It was all the Old Testament. How did he read and believe? This does not delay anything, because the God of the Old Testament and the God of the New Testament are the same God. Genesis talks about the Spirit moving there, and the New Testament also talks about the Spirit moving there. Not only is the Holy Spirit there, but the Holy Spirit also fills us. In the past few years, I have studied the four Gospels, Matthew, Mark, John, and Luke. I have studied these four Gospels very well, the best being Luke. I like Luke very much, and I have summarized it clearly and cleanly.

Regarding the theme of the Gospel of Luke, I am currently compiling this book, and the title of the book is Many Will Fall, Many Will Rise. Those who fall deserve it, and we thank God for those who rise. Why do those people fall? Because of being filled with the Holy Spirit. Why do they fall? Because they don't read the Bible, so they don't know! They don't know anything and leave the group. I ask you, what can I do to you after you listen to being filled with the Holy Spirit and praying? There's nothing I can do to you! Can I break through the screen and do anything to you? Where do I have that ability! What are you afraid of? Remember:

But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars—they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death. (Revelation 21:8)

So, many will fall, many will rise. Are you going to be one of those who fall, or are you going to be one of those who rise? From today onwards, we will be victorious Christians who rise up and shine. Matthew and Mark are both very famous books. The theme of Matthew is Two Kingdoms, Two Pursuits; the theme of Mark is These Signs Will Accompany Those Who Believe; the theme of John is The Good Shepherd Lays Down His Life for the Sheep, but John also talks about being filled with the Holy Spirit, but I mainly talk about Luke.

He will be great in the sight of the Lord. He is never to take wine or other fermented drink, and he will be filled with the Holy Spirit even before he is born. (Luke 1:15)

Being filled with the Holy Spirit began with John the Baptist. Some people ask me: Was John the Baptist filled with the Holy Spirit? Did John the Baptist speak in tongues? Oh, what are you talking about? You're not reading the Bible properly again. John the Baptist was filled with the Holy Spirit in his mother's womb! Look,

The angel answered, “The Holy Spirit will come on you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God.” (Luke 1:35)

When Elizabeth heard Mary’s greeting, the baby leaped in her womb, and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit. (Luke 1:41)

This is all talking about the Holy Spirit. Did you think that the Holy Spirit only existed today? It started from Genesis,

Then the Lord God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being. (Genesis 2:7)

Brothers and sisters, don't think that being filled with the Holy Spirit is Pentecostalism. Without the Gospel of being filled with the Holy Spirit, it is not the Gospel at all. To the brothers and sisters who seek healing, I tell you that a powerless Gospel is not the Gospel that the Apostle Paul preached at all. If you insist on arguing with me, I can only say: I don't know!

John the Baptist's mother was filled with the Holy Spirit, and in Luke, Jesus' mother was also filled with the Holy Spirit,

Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, left the Jordan and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness.(Luke 4:1)

For the one whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God gives the Spirit without limit. (John 3:34)

So brothers and sisters, don't be fooled by others. The Gospel we believe today is to imitate the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The ministry of Jesus Christ began with baptism and then being filled with the Holy Spirit, is that clear? If we don't talk about being filled with the Holy Spirit today, how can this Gospel continue?

Many people like to ask me a lot of strange questions, wanting to see how I react. Actually, I have to tell you that many people are called Zhang Jesus, and many people are called Li Jesus, Ma Jesus. Is anyone named Jesus, Jesus? There is also a person in the Bible named Bar-Jesus, but he is a false Jesus! Many people like to argue with me. I ask them one sentence: Are you like Jesus? As a result, they were all choked and said they were not like him. Then what are you talking to me about?

I used to study theology because I was very pursuing and eager to know the truth of God, but I was very confused when I was in seminary. Once, I was confused about something, and I went to ask the seminary professor: How would Jesus view this matter? His answer was a bit unexpected for me. He said, I'm not Jesus, how would I know? I said, if you don't know, what can I learn from you? So, I didn't go there the next day. The tuition was wasted. I don't want to listen to those theologies that don't know what God says, don't know what God thinks, and don't know what God views anymore, I don't have the time and interest. This is not Jesus, this is called pineapple cake. I want the truth of Jesus Christ, but you are using pineapple cake to dismiss me?

This Gospel is a Gospel of Being Filled with the Holy Spirit, A Gospel of Power

Is the Gospel that Jesus Christ preached today a Gospel of being filled with the Holy Spirit? Let's see:

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth. (Acts 1:8)

We have to be like Jesus. Some people pray for others, and the other party's eyes were fine, but later they became blind; some people don't pray for the sick, but if they pray, the sick die. I have seen similar situations. A pastor told me that he hated praying for the sick. It was fine if he didn't pray, but if he prayed, the other party would die. I wondered how this pastor became like this, that a powerful Gospel was believed to be a powerless Gospel.

Often, many people tell me that a certain pastor's hemorrhoids were bleeding on the platform, and then he died. I ask: Do you believe in Jesus or in that pastor? You must know, don't get it wrong, can a hundred of this kind of people and a hundred of that kind of people deny the power of Jesus Christ? Can you and I today steel our hearts to emulate Jesus? Jesus very clearly said:

I will send the promise of my Father upon you; but stay in the city until you have been clothed with power from on high.” (Luke 24:49)

Where does this power come from? This power comes from the Holy Spirit! Pat your chest and ask yourself, without being filled with the Holy Spirit, what are we believing in? Do we possess all the truth? Accusing me of being a Charismatic right away, what is Charismatic? Can you explain it clearly? Have you done any research? What denomination was Jesus? How about we divide Jesus and the Apostle Paul into different factions? What faction would you assign Jesus to? People are indeed destroyed for lack of knowledge. Should we believe in the mighty gospel of being filled with the Holy Spirit? If one believes a powerful gospel to be a gospel without power, may I ask: if you are cursed while alive, where can you go after death? Whether you go to heaven or hell is not based on your own cultivation, but on the Spirit of God continuously reigning and ruling in us.

If anyone finds what I say harsh, feel free to nitpick. I can handle it. I know the 《Bible》 very well. If you know the 《Bible》 as well as I do, you will come to similar conclusions. Of course, the 《Bible》 doesn't actually contain the phrase silly billys, but the 《Bible》 has a saying that is even harsher than what I said:

Brothers and sisters, if I am still preaching circumcision, why am I still being persecuted? In that case the offense of the cross has been abolished. As for those agitators, I wish they would go the whole way and emasculate themselves! (Galatians 5:11-12)

The Gospels are the beginning of the New Testament, 《Genesis》 is the beginning of the Old Testament, and also the beginning of the entire 《Bible》. I'll talk to you about 《Acts》. Is the amount of information a bit overwhelming? It's okay, I can slow down. 《Acts》 was written by Luke, let's take a look:

So when they met together, they asked him, “Lord, are you at this time going to restore the kingdom to Israel?” He said to them: “It is not for you to know the times or dates the Father has set by his own authority. But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” (Acts 1:6-8)

The last words Jesus spoke before ascending to heaven are very important. If the Holy Spirit has not come upon you, then according to my words, just stay there. Stay in Jerusalem until the Holy Spirit comes. Without the power of the Holy Spirit, how can you be witnesses for God? Deny the Lord three times? The disciples took it seriously, one hundred and twenty people prayed day and night in the Upper Room, loudly crying out to God for the Holy Spirit to come and fill them, doing only this one thing. But nothing happened. Day after day passed, and these people were there, emphatically saying: Fill me with the Holy Spirit! Truly showing character, carefully keeping and following God's words.

Nowadays, when people pray: Fill me with the Holy Spirit! and then find that they don't have the Holy Spirit, they exclaim: There is no Holy Spirit! This isn't real! These one hundred and twenty people prayed for about ten days. How did I calculate that? Jesus resurrected on the third day after Passover, stayed on earth for forty days, speaking to the disciples about the kingdom of God, and then ascended to heaven until Pentecost, which is 《Acts》 chapter 2. Pentecost is fifty days after Passover, meaning the disciples prayed for about eight or nine days, around ten days or so. After praying, suddenly the Holy Spirit descended, filling everyone in the house, individually falling on their heads. They were all filled, and then began speaking in other tongues.

Unfortunately, the 《Bible》 doesn't explain how they began speaking in other tongues. The Holy Spirit descended on Pentecost, and they all began to pray in tongues. Sometimes when I hear my own tongue prayer, I wonder if this prayer is the local language of some indigenous people in Africa or the Amazon River. One day I accidentally clicked on YouTube, I don't know what video it was, but when I heard that person speaking, I was shocked, the sound of that person speaking was almost exactly the same as my tongue prayer. I'll imitate it for everyone, you'll definitely know what I'm saying. For example, when a North Korean broadcaster reports the news, you can tell where that person is from as soon as you hear it, even if it's a Chinese or Taiwanese broadcaster, you can tell there's a big difference in the sound.

Being Filled with the Holy Spirit and Praying in Tongues Is an Indispensable Step in Believing in the Lord

God has made it very clear about praying in tongues:

“‘In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams. Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days, and they will prophesy. I will show wonders in the heavens above and signs on the earth below, blood and fire and billows of smoke. (Acts 2:17-19)

What is this? This is the Spirit of God. Many churches have lost the Spirit of God and then start playing with culture, but the world's elementary schools have no effect on dealing with the lust of the flesh, so in 《Acts》, a very important thing is said.

Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off—for all whom the Lord our God will call.” (Acts 2:38-39)

Based on this, believing in Jesus can be divided into four steps: first step: Repentance; second step: Be baptized in the name of Jesus; third step: That your sins may be forgiven; fourth step: Receive the promised Holy Spirit. Among them, most people stop at the second step, and many people stop at the third step, but when they get to the fourth step, people are directly eliminated. However, this fourth step is closely related to the ability of Christians. If this part is missing, it is very troublesome, because the gospel of Jesus Christ becomes a semi-finished product.

No matter what we do, we cannot use it if we only do 75%. For example, if the renovation is done to 75%, and only the toilet is left uninstalled, can the house be used? Or if the entire house is directly renovated to 75%, it is not much different from a raw house, it cannot be used; if an airplane is made to 75%, who would dare to sit in it? The fourth point is very well said, it is very hardcore truth, because without hardcore, people believe weakly.

In 《Acts》 chapter 8:

When the apostles in Jerusalem heard that Samaria had accepted the word of God, they sent Peter and John to Samaria. When they arrived, they prayed for the new believers there that they might receive the Holy Spirit, because the Holy Spirit had not yet come on any of them; they had simply been baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. (Acts 8:14-16)

Even elementary school students can understand this, right? Many people today speak nonsense: Ah, you have been baptized in the name of Jesus, God has already promised the Holy Spirit, you have already received it. Where does that come from? The Samaritans were baptized, and then they had to be caused to receive the Holy Spirit. Brothers and sisters must know that this is clearly recorded in the 《Bible》, it is not something I am making up. The Apostle Peter knew the entanglement of not being filled with the Holy Spirit, so the Apostle Peter denied the Lord three times, which was very uncomfortable.

While Peter was below in the courtyard, one of the high priest’s servant girls came by. When she saw Peter warming himself at the fire, she looked closely at him and said, “You also were with that Nazarene, Jesus.” But he denied it. “I don’t know or understand what you’re talking about,” he said, and went out into the entryway. When the servant girl saw him there, she said again to those standing around, “This fellow is one of them.” Again he denied it. After a little while, those standing near said to Peter, “Surely you are one of them, for you are a Galilean.” He began to call down curses on himself, and he swore to them, “I don’t know this man you’re talking about.” Immediately the rooster crowed the second time. Then Peter remembered the word Jesus had spoken to him: “Before the rooster crows twice you will disown me three times.” And he broke down and wept. (Mark 14:66-72)

I ask everyone, did Peter really want to say that? Actually, no, he couldn't control his weakness, it's because there's no hardcore inside, which is the Holy Spirit. Don't be fooled into thinking that you receive the Holy Spirit when you are baptized, because it does not conform to the 《Bible》. Peter preached everywhere about being filled with the Holy Spirit, and later Paul also believed in the Lord, and Paul did the same:

While Apollos was at Corinth, Paul took the road through the interior and arrived at Ephesus. There he found some disciples and asked them, “Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed?” They answered, “No, we have not even heard that there is a Holy Spirit.” (Acts 19:1-2)

When Paul placed his hands on them, the Holy Spirit came on them, and they spoke in tongues and prophesied. (Acts 19:6)

Brothers and sisters can see what Paul did: Paul was baptized, but it was not over, he still had to lay hands on them and pray to receive the Holy Spirit. Seen in this way, receiving the Holy Spirit is an indispensable step in believing in the Lord. For example, if we are cooking a dish and are missing a step, even if the meat and vegetables are all washed clean, just the step of frying them in the pot is missing, can this dish be eaten? Eating it will cause diarrhea, right? We must understand what Paul and Peter did, but why don't some churches mention what they did? We all read the same 《Bible》, why can't we read this truth out? I am also very surprised, this is clearly written in the 《Bible》. Many people don't say what is said in the 《Bible》, but they are just talking nonsense there.

Brothers and sisters should know that Chinese Mingding Destiny is a complete belief system. How complete? It can allow people to live out the power of God, live out the power of Jesus Christ, and allow people to be like Jesus, and lay hands on people to pray to heal the sick and set people free. We are not interpreting the 《Bible》 with the 《Bible》, but we want to truly live out the word of God, and the measuring standard is to see the results we live out.

If you make braised pork and what you see when you bring it up is sweet and sour cabbage instead of meat, is that still braised pork? If you believe in Jesus, and after you believe, you see that you are full of demons instead of looking like Jesus at all, and then you think you are orthodox, isn't this a tragedy? I feel very speechless about this situation. Therefore, we should know that the gospel we believe in is the gospel of being filled with the Holy Spirit. Are you all convinced now? From today onwards, everyone should choose to restore the pure faith, which is the same as what Paul said, this faith was originally very powerful. Now, the powerful have become heresies, and the powerless have become orthodox, isn't this turning black into white? Isn't this a thief crying stop thief?

Correct Understanding of 《1 Corinthians》 Chapter 14

《1 Corinthians》 chapter 14 is the most frequently used passage by people to oppose praying in tongues; these people just don’t like to understand the 《Bible》. I will sort it out for everyone from beginning to end.

Follow the way of love and eagerly desire gifts of the Spirit, (1 Corinthians 14:1)

What does this mean? It means that we must both pursue love and eagerly desire spiritual gifts. How can we serve without spiritual gifts? Where do those gifts come from? They come from the Holy Spirit.

For anyone who speaks in a tongue does not speak to people but to God. Indeed, no one understands them; they utter mysteries by the Spirit. (1 Corinthians 14:2)

What this means is: tongues are spoken to God. I ask everyone, is speaking to God important or is speaking to people important? Of course, speaking to God is more important. As a result, many people feel that they don’t need to pray in tongues.

But everyone who prophesies speaks to people for their strengthening, encouraging and comfort. Anyone who speaks in a tongue edifies themselves, but the one who prophesies edifies the church. I would like every one of you to speak in tongues, but I would rather have you prophesy. The one who prophesies is greater than one who speaks in tongues, unless someone interprets, so that the church may be edified. (1 Corinthians 14:3-5)

When did Paul say that you don’t need to pray in tongues? Never. Paul is saying: Praying in tongues is speaking to God, praying in tongues is edifying yourself. Many people think: I don’t need to edify myself, I will directly edify the church. This is simply a joke; how can you edify others if you don’t edify yourself well? What can you edify anyone with if you are full of bad habits? Without the Holy Spirit and not being able to pray in tongues often, what can people serve with?

Therefore, what Paul is saying is: Praying in tongues can edify oneself, and prophecy can edify the church. Can these two be separated? No. Is it not important to speak to God, and more important to speak to man instead? That’s nonsense. Paul said later:

For if I pray in a tongue, my spirit prays, but my mind is unfruitful. (1 Corinthians 14:14)

Do you understand? Some people say I don’t understand praying in tongues. Of course, I didn’t intend for you to understand, because it’s spoken to God! What are you all reading in the 《Bible》? Paul also said:

So what shall I do? I will pray with my spirit, but I will also pray with my understanding; I will sing with my spirit, but I will also sing with my understanding. (1 Corinthians 14:15)

This is very simple to understand. Did Paul ever say not to use tongues? No!

I thank God that I speak in tongues more than all of you. (1 Corinthians 14:18)

Paul never said that praying in tongues is optional, but these people distorted the word of God, and for example, some people ask whether praying in tongues can be interpreted. Paul’s meaning is: it cannot edify the church if it cannot be interpreted. When have you ever seen all of Paul’s tongue prayers being interpreted? I have never seen it.

On the day of Pentecost in the Book of Acts, when the Holy Spirit descended, were all of their tongue prayers interpreted? No. Some people say that praying in tongues should be done alone, so didn’t one hundred and twenty people pray in tongues together in the 《Bible》? And they prayed as if they were drunk. The first tongue prayer recorded in the 《Bible》 was a large group of people praying together, is there a problem? There is no problem at all, there are only many problems for those who don’t understand. If people can’t even understand this, then they won’t even be able to understand watching TV series. Some people have gradually walked out of bondage with me step by step, they have understood novels, they have also understood the 《Bible》, and they are getting better and better.

Removing the Myth of “Seeking the Holy Spirit, Receiving Evil Spirits”

I will read you a passage from the 《Bible》, Jesus predicted long ago that these people would talk nonsense: Don’t ask for tongues at all, asking for tongues may bring evil spirits… They say all sorts of things, but can’t God manage such a small matter? Everyone should remove the myths and fears about praying in tongues from inside of us, and simply believe in God, because our God has already mentioned it in the 《Gospel of Luke》:

Then Jesus said to them, “Suppose you have a friend, and you go to him at midnight and say, ‘Friend, lend me three loaves of bread; a friend of mine on a journey has come to me, and I have no food to offer him.’ And suppose the one inside answers, ‘Don’t bother me. The door is already locked, and my children and I are in bed. I can’t get up and give you anything.’ I tell you, even though he will not get up and give you the bread because of friendship, yet because of your shameless audacity he will surely get up and give you as much as you need. (Luke 11:5-8)

What does this mean? At midnight, a friend comes to borrow bread, we are in bed and cannot get up to give it to him. But because he importunately asks: Get up! Get up! Get up! Quickly get up and give me bread! Otherwise I won’t let you sleep today! Being so urgent, even if we don’t consider friendship, we will get up and give it to him. What does this refer to? It refers to verses 9-13 later on:

So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. “Which of you fathers, if your son asks for a fish, will give him a snake instead? Or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion? If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!” (Luke 11:9-13)

So how should we ask? Ah, fill me with the Holy Spirit, fill me with the Holy Spirit! If one day doesn’t work, then two days, if two days don’t work, then three days, if three days don’t work, then four days, if four days don’t work, then five days… until the Holy Spirit comes down. So I ask everyone, will an evil spirit come down? Does God give you an evil spirit if you ask for the Holy Spirit? Isn’t this blaspheming God? These words are very wrong; it’s no wonder that a person who speaks nonsense is not cursed; God will retaliate, not because of anything else, but because they preach the word of God according to the devil’s lies.

Brothers and sisters may have many confusions, but we must remove fear. Won’t our heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him? The heavenly Father will definitely give us good things, so don’t be afraid, don’t worry. Some people say: Once I lead people to be filled with the Holy Spirit and pray in tongues, the devil will howl. I often encounter this situation. Once I went somewhere to teach a class. As a result, a person was brought in during the class. The person who brought him in told me: Look, this person is about to collapse, he’s about to die. I said: That’s easy, I’ll lead him in prayer. As a result, as soon as I prayed, the Holy Spirit filled him, and the devil howled. Why? Because when the Holy Spirit is working, the devil must be driven out. At this time, the devils are all howling. What was the result? At this time, the person in charge came, and I quickly slipped away, because this was their territory.

Then they patted this person on the chest and stroked his back. According to my understanding, they put the devil back in again. What are people afraid of? Why pat the chest and stroke the back? Kill the devil, wouldn't it be better if this person was set free? I just lament that today, there are as many people with fear as there are hairs on a cow. Many people ask: How do I know I am filled with the Holy Spirit? The answer is: Being filled with the Holy Spirit comes with praying in tongues. So how do I know if praying in tongues comes from God or from an evil spirit? Do we need to know this? This question is very strange. We need to know that God has prepared the best gift for us, which is the Holy Spirit. If people don’t believe it, then forget it.

Conclusion

This gospel is the gospel of being filled with the Holy Spirit, what a wonderful thing this is! Regarding 《Romans》, Martin Luther summarized a justification by faith, but it is not at all. 《Romans》 in the 《Bible》 speaks of This gospel is the power of God. Because the Holy Spirit contends with the lusts of our body, to put to death the evil deeds of our body. 《Romans》 is talking about victory, this gospel is a gospel of victory, a gospel of being filled with the Holy Spirit. What is justification by faith? Are many people justified as soon as they believe? They don’t believe in the gospel of being filled with the Holy Spirit, so can they overcome?

Brothers and sisters, from 《Genesis》 onwards, our God has repeatedly reminded us, and until today, God still tells us: It is by the Spirit of God that things can be accomplished. Today, do you yearn to live out the image of Jesus Christ? If you yearn for it, start reading the 《Bible》, look at it plainly according to God’s words, and you will find that if people have no Holy Spirit, what can they live out?

If you want to be a monk, you don’t need to be filled with the Holy Spirit, you only need to sit cross-legged and chant scriptures there. But today, if you want to be a Christian, and a Christian like Jesus, then you must be filled with the Holy Spirit. Of course, there are four steps in total: First, repent; second, be baptized in the name of Jesus; third, sins are forgiven; fourth, receive the promised Holy Spirit. Simple? Simple. Straightforward? Straightforward. Therefore, let us no longer distort the word of God, but understand the word of God and the will of God.
